I agree with the fact that she has also improved on this and I'm glad that she's listening to fans and decided to get sensitivity readers. I love wayhaven, since it got me into IF so it has a special place in my heart, but anyways here are some of my thoughts. 😁
Disclaimer: I'm not attacking anyone or any author. I love IFs and I love Wayhaven, this is just some thoughts that I had, so please don't come for me.
🏃🏾‍♀️💨💨
Morgan/Mason
I wish that M's racial background was made clearer by the author, because it is clear that M is a POC due to their skin tone, but I don't remember the author ever clarifying more of M's background apart from the fact that they're Greek. Greece is a very diverse country, are they greek both nationality wise and ethnicity wise, do they have turkish roots? like idk how to explain and idk how old M is, but I hope that this gets at least clarified because before the skin tones were released the only description of M that I found was them being vaguely described as Greek with a Mediterranean skin tone if I recall correctly. I do think that this lack of clarification did in part contribute to the white-washing of M in the past but I am glad that M's skin tone has been clarified via the release of skin tone palettes. As a queer Mediterranean POC myself seeing M (who's also queer, poc and Mediterranean) get oversexualised both by the author and some of the fandom kind of makes me sad because they have more layers to them than just being interested in sex. If you play their route you get to see that there's a lot more to them than that.
Adam/Ava
I am also demi-romantic so seeing A's demi-sexuality being written as a second thought kind of just....idk. I just feel that their demi-sexuality is constantly being invalidated by the fans and at times in the game but maybe that's just me idk. I feel the same way since part of the fandom also dismisses A's demi-sexuality as this sexual-repression idea as if their demi-sexuality is an obstacle to overcome or something and it just makes me give a bit of a side-eye. I just feel that the author sometimes treats their sexuality as an after thought, but I hope that it gets a bit better.
Team Alpha and Sin
In terms of Team Alpha, I have seen and heard that some indigenous/Maori people have expressed discomfort at the portrayal of their ethnicity in Team Alpha being rooted in harmful stereotypes such as having them being werewolves, being portrayed as aggressive and hypersexualised. And Sin, an Assyrian man being trapped and enslaved is a thing that kind of makes me a bit sad since Assyrians don't have a lot of representation in the first place.
Felix/Farah
I absolutely adore F, they're an absolute delight. However, at times it feels like in some instances that F is infantilised by both the author, in-game and some individuals from the fandom. Sometimes it can feel like F is sometimes side-lined as the black best friend stereotype. At times it feels like F is not given as much thought as the other ROs in the asks answered. But the series hasn't finished so we shall see. I do think that her writing of F has improved to some extent though. I think this at times results in some fans categorising F into the black best friend stereotype rather than actually playing their route and finding out that they're actually such an interesting and layered character. I also feel that their character is not really taken as seriously as other best friend to lovers ROs who are white/ambiguously POC characters because of internalised racial stereotyping (is that what it's called in english? idk). I love F and they're my favourite RO so I hope that they will get more love as well as other black and darker-skinned ROs my beloveds.
Final Thoughts
All in all, I would also love to see more POC that aren't just East/Asian or a character who is made to be ambiguously brown with no thought of their ethnicity for the sole purpose of fulfilling some sort of checklist just because 2/8 or 1/5 ROs are POC. I do hope that authors list the characters ethnicity and nationality or at least state it because them mentioning that the character has golden/bronze skin does nothing for me. Are they black, are they south east asian, are they indigenous, like idk what its supposed to mean. Also ethnicity does not equal nationality and ethnicity is also as equally as important as race, so seeing some authors state that a character is South American or that a character is Asian and then leaving it at that also does nothing for me. Like are they Afro-Cuban, Asian-Argentinian/ Are they Han-Chinese or maybe Hui-Chinese? Are they Malay- Singaporean or maybe Indonesian? Every country is so diverse and have multiple ethnicities so saying that they're Latino and not explaining the characters' ethnicity or race at the very least just kind of leaves my head scratching at times.
don't worry, you're on anon, beloved. if they're gonna at anyone it will be me ;-P (jk. you're fine <3)
a follow up this. if anyone's following along ehheheh
Tumblr media
i THINK she said M was white. Which wqereweq roflmao. LMAO.
But also DON'T QUOTE ME ON IT. There is so much back and forth about it, I genuniely don't remember. But IIIII DO FEEL M is stated to be a very 'tan' white person. M is spicy white. Still there are a lot of stereotypes, I agree (they're just worse if M was (is??) of color).
I always did find how she spoke about them vs how she wrote about them to be weird. (She does the same with F. In that the nuance in the text wasn't same in how she answered the asks) I think, in her defense, it might have just been lack of awareness of the stereotypes as well as a struggle in keeping things basic, thus falling back on them. But it was a problem, nevertheless. And I do feel she's been working on that. So there is that.
Still, it is good to bring up nonetheless, because it is a good thing to remember / keep in mind based 1. characters like M will always exist and like you stated the problem wasn't just Sera. (I have seen an improvement in fandom too tho, so I hope that translate in other avenues) and 2. I've seen a lot of growth in IF writers, so again people should keep that in mind for their future.
Tumblr media
Nah, it's not just you. It's still a problem lmao. Hopefully again, things will change re: Sera (I will give credit - and I know I probably shouldn't but sadly so many DON'T - for LISTENING; and I also don't think A being demi-sexual was part of her plans, so maybe that's why it feels that way in the text. Not that it's an excuse, as I think if she was going to agree to that route the approach should have been changed earlier. But again, we shall see!)
It's funny that fandom treats it that way (funny because 1. boggling and 2. not funny at all) because A's hesitance isn't sexual at all. It's emotional and that STILL has nothing to do with them being demi. It feels like fandom has done less research than Sera -- when google is free. And more than that there are voices like yours explaining but fandom continues not to listen. I do think A's sexuality would have been better explored with different routes/tropes (than love at first sight/soulmates). But that's just me.
RE: Team Alpha - I haven't heard that but that tracks, and I can get why people would feel that way. I hope that when we see more of them, the depiction of them improves. I also think a lot of the hypersexualization/aggressive portrayal is more fandom. I felt they were more flirty and hyper in the text, but again I can see why people would be wary of their portrayal.
As for Sin, negl I did side-eye it. (Especially since I can't remember what the trapper who has him captured is.) And I am ready to side-eye fandom's approach to him.
I have nothing to add re: your thoughts on F Hauville. You're correct, lmao. Unfortunately.
Actually, I will say Sera's reactions might be in response to asks -- because I HAVE noticed that when she gets effusive F asks, she makes effusive and DETAILED responses. I've seen this at least twice. So, I feel she - and I've noticed with a lot of IF writers - react to what they're getting / the temperature of the fandom. More people care about A and N, then M, thus she reacts accordingly. HOWEVER, I feel it is the responsibility of the IF writer to cape for their ignored characters PARTICULARLY if they are an underepresented/ignored dynamic.
Tumblr media
i legit cackled. roflmao. and let out a snort. RIGHT? like, what does this mean to me. And half the time they're just a white person with a tan (though I have come to learn that 'tan' skin and 'tanned' skin means different things. Apparently??? The things we learn to decode, I guess!!)ii
But you stated it very well, my dear! I very much often feel the same and I hope anyone else reading this takes this to heart.

A Comprehensive Guide to New Zealand ETA
New Zealand is a land of rich Maori culture, stunning natural beauty and a plethora of outdoor adventures. This country is located in Southwestern Pacific Ocean and consists of two landmasses - South Island (Te Waipounamu) and North Island (Te Ika-a-Māui). In recent years, NZ has become a good destination for tourism, work or business purposes. If you are planning to visit New Zealand, you must have Eta for New Zealand. Also, if you hold an eta from an eligible country, you do need to apply for an e visa for New Zealand. In this article, we will explore NZeta, required documents, application process, etc information that helps you to apply NZETA successfully.
Tumblr media
What is New Zealand Eta?
To prevent unauthorized entries and efficiency of immigration process, New Zealand has launched a new system “New Zealand Eta” in 2019. This system allows citizens from visa-waiver countries, cruise ship passengers, and transit people to travel to NZ without applying a traditional visa. It allows you to stay up to 6 months within a 12 month period, you can enter multiple times and ETA is valid for 2 years for Travelers.
When you are applying eta for New Zealand, you have to pay International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) fees that help fund the protection of the environment and infrastructure.
Update: Now, Health Screening is required before entering the country and you have to answer health related questions. Also, IVL fees are increased, so before applying eta, you should need to check the latest fee structure.
What are the eligible countries for eTA New Zealand?
NZ eTA is required for those citizens who are coming from visa-waiver countries, transit travelers and cruise passengers. As of 2025, 190 countries under visa waiver program, check the below mentioned list of some visa-waiver countries or Territories for New Zealand:

If you are already staying in NZ and want to stay longer then you have to apply for a visa or if you have a valid NZ visa then you do not need NZETA.
How to check eTA NZ status?
If you want to check if your eta is approved or in processing, then you can easily check it. When you applied for eta, a Reference number will be sent in your email.
Go to the website. Enter the NZ eTA Reference number.
After that enter your passport number and select your nationality.
Now, you can see your eta is approved or pending.
Is it possible to extend New Zealand eTA?
No, New Zealand can not eTA for travelers. ETA is valid for up to 2 years for Travelers and 5 years for Crew members. If you have NZ eta then you are allowed for multiple entries, stay up to 3 to 6 months. If you want to stay longer in New Zealand for tourism, then you can choose other options such as New Zealand Visitor Visa which allows you to stay up to 6 months (multiple entry) or 9 months (single entry). Through a Visitor Visa, you can study up to 3 months, visit family or friends and spend your holidays in New Zealand.
Conclusion
NZ eTA is an essential travel document for travelers who are coming from visa-waiver countries, transit people and cruise passengers. Through eta, you can explore stunning landscapes, stay up to 6 months and visit family or friends in New Zealand. For visa-waiver country citizens, they do need to apply for an e visa or other kind of traditional visa, they can enter the country with the help of eTA. While applying for NZ eta, make sure to check required documents, processing and IVL fees and apply in advance to avoid any issue.

RWBY characters races for AUs set in our world.
How I’m going to do this: three things. The first, the city they live in Remnant. This is the least important because that leaves us with only five…maybe six places compared to our world’s hundreds of countries.
The second will be the original of their names, which they’ll have to keep in the AUs, meaning that they need some culture background for them.
The third will be their fairy tale origins.
So to start, Ruby Rose:
She lives in Vale, which is similar to France (I’ll explain why in another post maybe), but technically grew up in patch, a small island off the coast of Vale. I have no idea about Patch’s culture as we hardly ever see it, so I’m going to skip this one. We also don’t know if either Summer or Taiyang was originally from Vale.
We know Taiyang is Chinese from his name, so I’m going to say she’s half Chinese. I also wrote a western au once and really love the idea of Taiyang being an Asian Redneck…so I think I’m going to say Ruby is very, very southern just because that would be adorable.
But if you don’t want that idea I generally see Taiyang being either Asian-American or Asian-French, or Asian-British if your doing a HP AU. Summer is harder to pin down, but Red Riding Hood was originally an Italian fable, so I’m going to have her be Italian or Italian-American.
Weiss:
Weiss is German, although making her simply white America/British would work. I could see her being Russian too in some AU because Atlas fits well as Russia. For American works, Pennsylvania has quite the German population and coal mines, so that works pretty well for her.
Blake is really complicated. From Remment Australia which is culturally SEA (south East Asian), has an English name but parents with a Hindu-inspired names, but neither looking vaguely Indian. I’m going to assume her family are immigrants (as they are in cannon I think) to Australia, maybe even changed their name to help them fit in. Immigrants from where? Well, India is an option, but I like to think Malaysia. They have a large Indian and Chinese population, and I like to think Blake is a mixture of Chinese, Malay, and Indian ethnicities, from Malaysia and immigrated to Australia. And if you think this is crazy or unrealistic, you haven’t seen anything yet. The sheer mix of cultures I’ve seen growing up as an ex-pat is insane. This isn’t too crazy.
For Yang, we already have Taiyang as an Asian red-neck. Or at least I do. Raven and Qrow are going to be a little harder to pin down, but I’m think bandits getting replaced by mafia. Which mafia? I don’t know, take you’re pick. Branwen is Welsh, but I can’t think of a Welsh mafia. Coming from Mistral I would see them as being Triad, not Yakuza because Raven’s gang is famous for being less than coordinated.
If you need a logical reason for Yang having blonde hair, Taiyang could be only half Chinese, half blonde (blonde is race right?).
Either way I see Raven operating in an American city like New York or Detroit.
This would mean Yang is fully Chinese ethnically.
JNPR:
Jaune’s name and inspiration are all French. However his mother does come from Mistral (I think), so I do see him being half Chinese, but nationally French. It’s also funny to imagine him with a French accent.
Pyrrha: she’s Greek or maybe Greek-American with her parents being recent immigrants. Argus seems to Remnent-Greece and her name and fairy tale are greek.
Nora: she should be Scandinavian. I feel like in a MCU AU she’s Thor’s daughter. But she also grew up as a street rat in Mistral, which is hard to fit in our world. Therefore I’m going to have her in America, the great melting pot (and also America seems to be more like Mistral than any other Remnent king with our state system), and she going to ethically Scandinavian but knowing nothing of her culture due to her upbringing.
Ren: obviously Chinese, but I might have him be American-Chinese to fit his story nicely in with Nora’s.
Others:
Coco: we’re all ignoring that she’s based off Coco Channel, so let’s make her a LA girl
Velvet: Australia, because of the accent. Or maybe English because that is her story origin
Fox: he’s difficult, because tribes are pretty rare in modern AUs. But his story could work for various things. He’s one of the few black characters so he could come from practically any African tribe (I’m currently going with Hausa because it’s one of the few I know anything about). His name is based off ‘the fox and the hound’ which is a rare American story, so he could also be from a Native American tribe if you want the AU to be more American-based.
Yatsuhashi: Japanese, this one is thankfully easy.
Sun: Chinese. He comes from a tribe as well, but I can’t think of any nomadic Chinese tribes except the Uyghurs. Making Sun a Uyghur doesn’t make much sense but it will serve to piss off certain people on the internet. And now this is going to be taken down, isn’t it? Oh wait, this is tumbrl. This is anarchy. It won’t. Forgot why I liked this place for a second.
Scarlet: sorry for the rambling there. Anyway, Scarlet is definitely English. “I hope I don’t get sand in my shoes.”
Sage: well, he’s black, but other then that we have nothing to go one. He’s also from Mistral but that doesn’t really work? If Mistral is America as well as China I guess we can make him African American. Or whatever else works best for the AU. He might be Indian too now that I think of it. Or even Maori. Really options are limitless here.
Neptune: Yeah, so probably just American, but does have both a French last name and an Italian first name. So probably ethically American (aka white mutt). Also he lives near a port, I think I’m gonna gone with him being from Tacoma Washington because I am.
Flynt: African American
Neon: Japanese-American because of her meme (it started as part of Japanese pop song on YouTube, the latter of which is America summed up in one invention)
Oscar: Hispanic-American, he just looks it. And I’m guessing he lives in Kansas for obvious reasons. His last name isn’t Hispanic but their could be a lot of reasons for that. Or he could be Native American (Pawnee, Cheyenne, and Osage are all Native American tribes in Kansas).
Penny: well if she’s still a robot she probably stays white, but if you want her human in this AU she might end up being half black as Pietro is, although she also could just be adopted. I guess the later makes more sense, huh? I figure she’s American, with her dad working with a ‘well meaning’ but ultimately corrupt government. Probably living in DC, as that has both the government and the poverty issues.
Emerald: oohh, boy. This is hard. Sustrai is Basque, and Aladdin is a French addition to an Arabian story, she herself is dark skinned with anime features that are super unhelpful for this sorta thing.
I have three ideas. Brazilian, mostly as there’s no South American themed RWBY characters I can think of, and it’s diverse enough that someone looking like Emerald would fit. Secondly, for American centered stories she’s just an orphan with no idea of her ethnicity. Or she could be African, Indian, Pacific Islander, or Hispanic or some mixture between those four. It’s honestly really hard to tell. In my fanfic she’s from Suriname and ethnically 1/4 Indian, 1/2 Creole, and 1/4 Javanese.
Ilia: Sioux (Native American). Ilia means a lot of things in a lot of different languages, and Amitola mean rainbow in Sioux, so I decided to just stick with that.
Mercury: American, white mutt American. I’m guessing New York or Philli for where he grew up, it seems like a place where he’d be comfortable
Neo: the new novel reveals her father lived in vale (btw I haven’t read it, I’m just getting this off the internet) and her mother was a assassin who’s origins aren’t known. She doesn’t really have a fairy tale. So I’m going to go with British or French (thank RWBY thoughts for the first one) although in an American AU she works as just a white American.
Robyn: depends on what Atlas is in this AU, but probably German or American.
Qrow: I already mentioned he’s probably Chinese due to being from Mistral. It’s a bit weird to think of him as Asian, but not as weird as it to think of Raven as white, so I’ll take it. Although I do like the idea of him being American Irish, that’s fun.
Winter: whatever Atlas is in this AU, German or American, although British and Russian would work well too.
Maria: Mexican
Salem: If you want a AU where she’s just a normal person then New England or Italian for her story origin
Watts: British
Tyrian: uh…I have no idea, but he looks white. And he kinda has a British accent? I want him to be southern for the accent tho. Probably just another crazy American
Cinder: her fairy tale is French but her origin is Chinese. Also, Cinderella doesn’t really have an origin, it’s an ancient story with every culture having at least one Cinderella story. So I’m going to say Chinese.
Hazel: American, from the Midwest. He’s darkish so maybe he’s a POC? Part Native American or Hispanic? Idk or really care I can’t stand Hazel
Roman Torchwick: American-Italian, he runs/works for the mafia
Ozpin: American because of the whole wizard-of-Oz-thing or French, because he seems to have come from Vale.
Glynda: American or French for the same reasons Ozpin is
Oobleck: Jewish American (because Dr. Seuss was)
Professor Port: Russian, due to his fairy tale, or English, due to his style
Taiyang: already said he’s a red-neck Asian.
Raven: depending on whether you want her to be white or not, either Chinese or Irish American, like I already said.
Cordovin: Karen
Ironwood: again, depends on Atlas in the AU. Either American or German…maybe Russian
Clover: Irish-American (or German, obviously the ace-ops depend on where Atlas is. I’m just going to do the rest of them assuming Atlas is American because Germany isn’t that diverse)
Harriet: African-American, I guess. It kinda messes with the story because Harriet is supposed to be privileged, which doesn’t really work in this AU, but she’s also obviously black.
Elm: Just normal American, maybe greek-American because of the Aesop fable themes
Vine: Tibetan based on his design
Marrow: either African-American or Pakistani/Indian-American. (I’m personally going for Pakistani)
Klein: english. All butlers are English. It’s a rule.
Pietro: African-American
Johanna: Pakistani or Indian American
Fiona: Jewish-American (kinda random but while she’s obviously white she also needs to be a minority for the Faunus thing to work)
May: normal upper glass American/German
Ghira: Half Malay, Half Indian, from Malaysia but immigrated to Australia later in life
Kali: half Chinese, half Indian, but also from Malaysia
Adam: much like Fiona I’m going to assume he’s Jewish due to him being white but still needing to be a minority. German or American, again, depending on where Atlas is. Or he could be Chinese, even though it doesn’t work with his name, due to the theory that he was trafficked much like Cinder. I’m going with ethically Jewish though
Sienna Khan: Indian
Huh, I actually finished that. I’m pretty sure I was accidentally racist multiple times and apologize in advance,
I’m exhausted and starving and not thinking straight. But anyway, here it is. Your very messy guide to modern RWBY AUs. I swear this was insane to sort out.

The life story of Alexander the Great Part IV and the last
The life story of Alexander the Great Part IV and the last
Tumblr media
Alexander's parents had a great influence on his character and character. His mother was ambitious, and led him to believe that he was able to invade the Persian Empire. Plutarch says this ambition is what kept Alexander's heart and soul tall and hopeless throughout these years of campaigns and conquests. As for his father, he was the role model he emulated at every step. Alexander's relationship with his father refined the competitive side of his person; he felt an urgent need to overtake him and overshadow his achievements, perhaps explaining many of his reckless actions on the battlefield. Alexander was worried that his father "would not leave him with an important or great achievement to show him in front of the world," but nevertheless played down the latter's achievements in front of his companions. Undoubtedly a role in his decisions. Alexander is known for his stubborn intransigence and stiffness of opinion, but he nevertheless was receptive to any discussion and listener of his author as long as it was logical. Alexander had another more prudent aspect, characterized by his foresight, logic, and vigilance, and inclined towards science a great tendency, and loved philosophy, and was focused on reading the books binge, and learn what came from the wisdom and memorized quickly, thanks to Aristotle, the great teacher, has Alexander's intelligence and reckless side of his character contributed greatly to his success as a military commander. Alexander had a great ability to control himself and prevent him from indulging in the “pleasures of the body”, and on the contrary, he was unable to control himself when it came to wines, so he continued to use it uncontrollably; Alexander was knowledgeable, loved science and the arts alike. He sponsored it. However, unlike his father, his interest in sport and the Olympics was minimal, and he always pursued the Homeric ideals of honor and glory. The Macedonian leader had the power of persuasion, supernatural persuasion, and great personal power, the building blocks that would make anyone a great leader, and the most striking manifestation of these unique features was that he united Macedonia, the whole of Greece and the Persians into one empire, and kept it together. Despite the accumulation of great contradictions, and after his death, no one of his leaders was able to maintain that unity, and the country dispersed and divided into a few different countries, Alexander suffered a state of perjury and paranoia in the last years of his life, especially after the death of his close friend Hvistion, probably because of this What he has achieved great vacations through A relatively short period of time, and the sense that he seeks Allaosfi behind the ability, flattery and admiration of his fellow people around him. The state of Alexander and his illusions can be seen in his will, which some say is a desire to conquer the world. It appears that Alexander believed that he was a god, or at least sought to deify himself, because his mother had always insisted, according to some sources, that he was the son of Zeus, and that this story was confirmed by Egyptian priests in the temple of Amun in Siwa Oasis, and he began calling himself. The son of Zeus-Amun, since then, after quoting from the Persians several habits, insisted that his men and his army commanders prostrate to him and kiss his hand, as the Persians were doing with their deified king, but the Macedonians categorically rejected it and boycotted their commander to That decided to reverse that habit. Alexander was nevertheless a realistic king, understanding the difficulties of an empire inhabited by peoples of different cultures, some of whom lived all his life in a kingdom where the king was considered a worshiped god. Accordingly, it is possible that he may not have been paranoid, but that his actions were a practical attempt to consolidate his rule and to keep the territory of his empire united. Alexander had a close relationship with a friend of his age and his companion, Hvistion, the son of a Macedonian nobleman, bodyguard and commander in Alexander's army. It is so close that the death of Hephaestion played a role in making Alexander's health decline more frequently, and probably in his mental imbalance, during the last months of his life. He saw her and fell in love with her; Statera II, the daughter of Shah Dara III, was purely politically motivated; and Grushat II, the youngest daughter of Shah Ardashir III, whom he married in Sousse along with a number of his officers who made them associate with Persian princesses. It appears that Alexander had only two sons: Alexander IV of Rakhsana, Hercules of Macedon of his nation «Persin», and a child died once, when Rakhsana aborted in Babylon; Alexander's sexual orientation has been the subject of controversy for years. There is no old text stating that he was homosexual, engaged in such a relationship, or that his relationship with Hephaestion was sexual. In spite of this, the Greek historian Alianus Tektikos recounts a story that when Alexander visited Troy, he went to the tomb of Achilles and his flowers. Akhil's lover did not visit each other's grave without the other if not. He also refers to the phrase «Eromenos», which means «beloved» in ancient Greek, and says that it does not necessarily have sexual meaning in its folds, it may mean that Hvistion was the closest friends and men to him. In any case, the homosexuality of Alexander, if true, was not forbidden or unnatural in his days, but was common. Peter Green says that the old texts and documents do not indicate that Alexander was interested in women a lot; Having a son only in the last days. Other researchers have responded to this assumption that Alexander died when he was still relatively young, but nevertheless he had married more women than his father did in the same age, and that he knew many women other than his wives, so he was a harem as Shah Fares He showed great restraint and prevented him from indulging in the “pleasures of the flesh”. He did not even impose himself on Raksana on the night of their marriage, although it was fascinated by him. Green adds that Alexander made good friends with a number of women, most notably Ada Curry, who adopted him, and even Sisypampis, the mother of Dara III, who loved Alexander as her son and is said to have died of grief. Alexander's legacy extends to many things other than his military conquests. His campaigns have increased communication and trade routes between the Western and Eastern worlds, and brought Greek culture and civilization to many aspects of Eastern life. Many of the cities founded by Alexander became major cultural centers, some of which still exist today. The Greek historians who accompanied Alexander in his campaigns recorded valuable information about the areas they had crossed, and for the first time the Greeks felt that they lived in a world larger than their Mediterranean world. The most important legacy of Alexander's legacy is undoubtedly the extension of Macedonian influence into vast areas within Asia. At the time of his death, Alexander had an area of 5,200,000 km 2, making it the largest country of that era. Most of these areas continued to be directly or indirectly subject to Macedonians, for the next 200 or 300 years, and the successor states of Alexander or the kings of the sects of Alexander were the most powerful countries in the world, at least at the beginning of their reign. The provinces on the eastern border of the Macedonian Empire began to take off one by one when Alexander was still alive. The political vacuum created by Alexander in the northwest of the Indian subcontinent caused the emergence of one of the greatest dynasties of India in history, the Maori dynasty founded by Emperor Pandrawgupta Maurya, of humble origins, after taking control of Punjab and launching military campaigns to open the territory of the Nanda Empire. . Alexander founded more than twenty cities bearing his name in various parts of his empire in many areas of the territory he conquered during his military campaigns, but most of them occurred east of the Tigris. The greatest undisputed city was Alexandria in Egypt, which was later destined to occupy a prestigious position among the world's cities in general and the Mediterranean basin in particular. The cities founded by Alexander fell on important trade routes, often in fortified places, inhabited by the Greeks and native people. After his death, many Greeks tried to return to his native country, but another section survived.About a century after Alexander's death, Its cities are witnessing the best of its times, where built hospitals, observatories, astronomical temples and other interests, and increased the population of people of Greek and municipal origin and added to them a new element is a mixture between the two. "Hellenism" is an Arabization of the German-Latin term (Hellenismus) coined by the German historian Johann Gustav Drizen to refer to the spread of the Greek language, culture, and population in the territory of the Persian Empire during and after the conquests of Alexander. This spread is certainly not disputed, and its effects can still be seen in some major Hellenistic cities such as Alexandria, Antioch, and Seleucia, both in historical establishments and in some forms of food of Greek origin, and others. Alexander was very confident in the greatness of the Greek civilization, and aspired to spread the banner of this civilization in every land set by his horses, but he dreamed that the whole world dyed the Greek character, and at the same time believed in the need to unite peoples, in order to seek to introduce some elements That culture to Persian civilization and hybridization of both cultures. His successors did not believe in this, neglecting the policy pursued by their late leader, but nonetheless, the Helena peoples of the East continued throughout their reign, as the Greeks who settled in the new countries gradually took on the basis of the Hellenistic culture. Men from all over Greece have a role in fusing different Greek dialects into one melting pot, and the emergence of the so-called Quinnian dialect, or common Greek slang. Greek Quinnism spread rapidly in the Hellenistic world until it became the language of common communication for many years, and modern Greek was born from its womb. In addition, urban planning, education systems, the form of local governments, and patterns of works of art were based on their traditional Greek counterparts, and over time evolved into distinctive methods known as Hellenistic styles. Certain manifestations of Hellenistic culture continued to be evident in the traditions of the Byzantine Empire during the mid-15th century. Some distinctive aspects of Hellenisticism can still be found in India, particularly in the region where a few Hindus established the kingdoms. The isolation of its early inhabitants from the Greeks, and their distance from their native homeland in Europe, led to the fusion of their Greek culture with Indian culture, especially Buddhism. It is noteworthy that the first human-shaped Buddha sculptures began to emerge during this period, and were carved on the basis of the Greek statues of Apollo. Several Buddhist traditions are believed to have been heavily influenced by ancient Greek religion. The Mahayana rituals, such as burning incense, wreath and placing food at altars, are similar to the ancient Greeks. In addition, adultery Buddhism derived some of its ideas and principles from Greek stoic philosophy. It is believed that one of the kings of the Greeks, called Menander I «savior», converted to Buddhism sincerely, was memorialized in the texts of Buddhists, and referred to as «Melinada». India's Helena was not limited to cultural and religious aspects, but extended to science as well. Many astronomical ideas and theories leaked eastward until India reached astronomy with great influence by the first centuries AD. Greek instruments dedicated to studying the locations of planets and stars were found in the Greek city of Ikhanim, present-day Afghanistan, and Greek spheres of the earth were surrounded in India by other spherical planets. , The idea of a spherical Earth replaced the idea of the flat Earth that prevailed in India for a long time. Alexander and his accomplishments gained the admiration of the Romans in general, and the military commanders of them in particular, took him by example, and often compared their career to his career, after they had seen the author of the Greek historian Paulipius, entitled "Dates" (Latin: Historiae), in which he reminded the Romans of Alexander's achievements. The Roman Commander Gumbi took the title "Magnus" (Latin: Magnus) after Alexander, but he was cutting his hair in the same way as the latter's haircut, and he was very impressed with the Macedonian commander that he searched in the countries opened by the Macedonians for the cloak of Alexander, 260 years old, Which he puts as a sign of greatness. Julius Caesar ordered his artisans to cast a bronze statue of him on his horse, a replica of one of Alexander's statues, and to replace his face with the latter.Emperor Augustus Caesar, during his visit to Alexandria, replaced the inscription of the Sphinx on his ring side by side with Alexander. Among the most prominent Roman emperors who liked Alexander also: Trajan, Nero, and Caracalla. The Macrinian family, the Roman dynasty during the reign of Emperor Macrinus, retained images of Alexander on her belongings, such as jewelery, or embroidered them on the clothes of its members. Of conflicts generated by the latter by upholding the ideals of the Supreme Republic. Other writers put Alexander's qualities as an example of all the rulers. Alexander's biography encompasses a number of myths and fairy tales, which Alexander himself may have encouraged to propagate and write. His own historian Calistines says that the sea retreated for fear when he was in Cilicia. Shortly after Alexander's death, another historian, Onesecretus, invented a story that Thalitris, the queen of the Amazons, had visited Alexander and had a kind of friendliness. All the myths about Alexander were collected centuries after his departure in a book known as 'The Romance of Alexander', probably in Alexandria, which was mistakenly attributed to Callistence, which is why he is sometimes called Pseudo-Callisthenes. This book has undergone numerous revisions and additions throughout ancient times to the Middle Ages, and therefore contains a number of doubtful stories, and has been translated into many languages such as Greco-Roman, Armenian, Syriac, Latin, and most of the languages of Western Europe. Alexander and his great achievements were mentioned in the texts of several civilizations, both ancient and modern. The first to mention in their texts was the Greeks themselves during his life, and others after them continued to tell the stories of this leader generation after generation until the present time. Alexander's romance and novels played a significant role in influencing his image in later civilizations, notably Persian, Central European, and contemporary Greek. (1) Alexander appears more prominently in contemporary Greek folklore than any other ancient figure. ) Is a nickname for many families, and is the only old hero to appear in karkuz shows to entertain children. One of the common myths among Greek sailors speaks of a lone mermaid who hangs in front of boats and ships during storms and asks the captain: “Isn't Alexander still alive?” The captain must answer: “He is alive and well and governs the whole world!”, The nymph returns to the sea, but if the captain responds otherwise, the nymph becomes a rebellious Gorgon, dragging the ship and its passengers to the seabed. After the introduction of Islam to Persia, the decline of the Magi in isolated small pockets, and the perception of the Persians to the author of «Romance of Alexander», took a new image more positively replace the old ones gradually. In the book of kings (in Persian: Shahnameh) of Abu al-Qasim al-Firdawsi, Alexander is mentioned in the list of legitimate kings of Persia, and described as a legendary person who traveled to the far corners of the world in search of the fountain of youth. Some Persian writers later linked Alexander and philosophy, drawing him sitting in discussion with great philosophers such as Aristotle, Socrates, and Plato, talking about how to find out the mystery of eternity. The Syriac version of the "Romantic of Alexander" embodies the Macedonian leader as a good Christian king who perseveres in prayer, opens the invincible kingdoms for the pleasure of God and invites people to worship him as the true God. Alexander was described by ancient Egyptian priests and writers as the son of Nectanebo II, the last pharaoh of Egypt before the Persian invasion, and his defeat of Shah Dara III was the salvation that Egypt long waited for, and that Egypt continued to be ruled by an Egyptian. As mentioned in the Bible, the Bible mentioned explicitly the story of a good leader, named Zhi al-Qarnayn, Sahib al-Qarnayn, or 'Lugranai'im'. Confirmed or uncertain; Book of the Maccabees I: Alexander the son of Philip Macedon after leaving the land impermeable and rhythm in the King of Persia Dara and Madai king in place and is the first to reign over Greece. He then provoked many wars, opened multiple forts and killed the kings of the earth. And he passed to the ends of the earth, and spoiled the spoils of a multitude of nations; And mobilized a very powerful army. He took over the country, the nations and the sultans and they carried him a tribute. Then he lay on his bed and felt himself dead. And his servants called the elders who had grown up with him since the cactus, and divided his kingdom among them in his life. And the king of Alexander was twelve years old, and died: [Maccabees 1] And Daniel traveled: The good goat was king of Greece, and the great century between his eyes was the first king. And when he was broken, and raised four instead of him, four kingdoms shall rise up from the nation, but not in his power. At the end of their kingdom, when a transgression is complete, a king who is dry-faced will come up and understand the tricks. His power is greater, but not his power. He shall perish, and shall succeed, and shall destroy and destroy the great and the people of the saints. And by his ingenuity he also succeeds cunning in his hand, and glorifies his heart. In the reassurance perish many, and is based on the head of presidents, and without hands broken. [Daniel 8] In the Koran, Fmma came and said to the possibility of referring to Alexander the Lord in the Cave, which is: Ra bracket.png and ask you about a centuries say I will read to you from him a male Aya Verily we have enabled him -83.png in the ground and gave him everything a reason Aya-84.png reason follow Aya-85.png even if it reaches Morocco, the sun goes down and found her in the eye Hmeh and then some people found a centuries we said O M A to freshen up and either take them Well Aya-86.png La bracket.png; also: Ra bracket.png even if reached between the two dams was found without them some people can hardly understand a word Aya-93.png They said: The centuries that Gog and Magog corrupters Will we make the land you came out to make a dam between us and them Aya-94.png said what McNee the good Lord Voaenoni strongly make between you and them ruin Aya-95.png Atoni iron zapper even if equated Alsdwin said Blow, even if he made it a fire Atoni emptied it in diameter Aya-96.png What Asitaawa and what they were able to make him known to him Naqba Aya-97.png said this mercy from my Lord, if my Lord promised to make it Dca came and was promised my Lord really Aya-98.png La bracket.png. Scholars of interpretation say that this two centuries was a good slave roamed the world and built a huge dam in the face of the people of Gog and Magog who wreaked havoc in the land, and some said that this man is Alexander, others disagreed with this view. The name 'Alexander' or 'Alexander' in India and Pakistan, specifically in Punjab, refers to a young, talented young person whose capabilities are growing little by little. Alexander was made a member of the "Nine Virtues" in Europe during the Middle Ages, and the group included men considered to be the most magnificent and noble knights of their time, such as Charlemagne, Julius Caesar, and others. Hollywood produced a film about the life of Alexander in 2004, in which Irish actor Colin Farrell played the Macedonian leader. Greece tried to sue the production company and director. All the texts written by people who had socialized Alexander and accompanied him in his campaigns or collected from the news of his comrades and companions, have all been lost and left only a few manuscripts of which is complete and some of which became impossible crumbs. Alexander's contemporaries who wrote about his life include his own historian Calistines, commanders in his army Ptolemy and Nirajos, a young officer named Aristopoulos, and the chief skipper Unisecretus. All the texts dealing with the life of Alexander were written on the basis of those written by these men. The first transcripts were those of historian Diodorus Seleucus (1st century BC), followed by the text of Quintus Cortius Rufus (between the middle and late 1st century BC). Arian (between the 1st and 2nd century AD), Plutarch (1st to 2nd century AD), and finally Justin, author of the 4th century AD. Arian's author is the most authoritative on the whole, since he used the texts of Ptolemy and Aristopoulos as primary references, followed by the author of Diodorus
Here ends the story of the life of Alexander the Great

Marstine, J. (Ed) (2006). New museum theory and practice: An introduction. Malden, MA: Blackwell.
Notes:
Museums are so ubiquitous/omnipresent in our  ‘“cultural landscape that they frame our most basic assumptions about the past and about ourselves”.
A lot of people’s perceptions of history are based of what is displayed in museums. This can be dangerous as it can manipulate and focus people’s mindsets, not allowing for alternate and contradicting histories - Hiroshima vs Enola Gay.
Huge controversy over who the items may belong to - a lot of Maori taonga was confiscated and taken and is not connected to its whakapapa. These such items on display have tikanga surrounding how it should be handled etc.. te papa enforced the mana taonga principle to ensure cultural significance and history are taken into consideration when dealing with taonga. Tribal elders are also asked for advice. Other places do not have respect for the items in their possession or do not care that they are reunited with their whakapapa - what ever culture they may be from. Such as the elgin marbles of greece who are in in the possession of the British Museum where they refuse to return them - stating that they were “rescued” and that the british are keeping them still to guard against damage from the neglect, earthquakes and pollution they might face in greece. Timothy webb says that they have come to represent britain as the “inheritor of democracy from ancient athens” and in turn, justifying their “political” decisions such as “colonisation and domination of other peoples”. Greece is seeing this as a humans rights issue- sculptures were gained through illicit means (stolen) and they are being denied of their heritage.
We see museum objects as ‘unmediated anchors to the past’ - teachers often take students to museums making real of the things talked about in class.
But they’re not authentic a lot of the time, museums are about individuals making subjective choices - mission statements, architecture, exhibition display etc.. what is meant to be a neutral space is influenced by ‘subconscious’ opinions.
What does it mean for something to be ‘authentic’? “Claiming authenticity is a way for museums to deny the imperialist and patriarchal structures that have informed their institutions. They control the viewing process and suggest a tightly woven narrative of progress, an ‘authentic’ mirror of history.
Andreas Huyssen believes that museums are a mass medium, “a hybrid space somewhere between public fair and department store”. ‘They are a response to the quest for authenticity fueled by the cultural amnesia of our times; the information overload and fast pace of the digital revolution evoke a desire for stability and timelessness.
Museums are well trusted, american association of museums survey, 87% deem museums trustworthy vs 67% books and %50 tv news.
New museum theory (critical museum theory/new museology) - while workers ‘naturalise’ their policies and procedures as professional practice, the decisions made reflect underlying value systems that are encoded in institutional narratives. Its about decolonising and giving those represented control of their own cultural heritage (mana taonga principle) real cross-cultural exchange. 1960s artists began to demand a voice in determining how their works were displayed, interpreted and conserved. The civil rights movement challenged the museum to be more inclusive.
What is a museum? These categories are not mutually exclusive and overlap.
Shrine: longest standing and most traditional view of the museum is as a sacred place. Has therapeutic properties, place of sanctuary removed from the outside world.collections are fetishised, objects ‘possess’ an aura that offers spiritual enlightenment. Leads people to assign meanings to objects unrelated to their original function. Objects are prioritised over ideas. Collections are thought to be reborn in museums, where they are better guarded and more appreciated. The shrine idea is influence by church, palace and ancient temple architecture - processional pathways, staircases, dramatic lighting.. Create and performative experience. ‘All museums stage their collected and preserved relics… (museums) use theatrical effects to enhance a belief in the historicity of the objects they collect.’ - Prezoisi.
market-driven industry: museums often position themselves as being ‘pure’ and unsullied by commercialisation. Obviously people understand the items are valuable but this information is usually hush hush - would commoditise the objects. Heritage and tourism are collaborative tourism. Museums have borrowed from the theme park and cinema to create a spectacle that engages all the senses.
colonising space: often look to/reference a postcolonial (eurocentric perspective) history. Appropriate objects from non-western cultures to tell their own history. Naturalise the category of ‘primitive’. Indigenous individuals were rarely acknowledged - seen as following conventions while ‘original’ western artists were seen as groundbreaking and intellectuals. Destroys rather than preserves. UNESCO declared that repatriation is a basic human right. Mansuline gaze
Post-museum: no longer a museum. Will acknowledge the politics of representation, actively seeks to share power with the communities it serves and the source communities. Encourages diverse groups to respond in museum discourse. Curator takes responsibility for representation. Doesn’t shy away from difficult issues but exposes conflict and contradictions. Redress social inequalities. Promote social understanding. Responsibility always rests with the researcher
Greater accountability, sensitivity and openness
Michel foulcault - epistemes -
Renaissance:15/16/17th century humanist desire to understand the world through seeking universal knowledge.science over theology. Finding relationships between objects, microcosm of god. Curiosity cabinet - mediates between the microcosm of humankind and the macrocosm of god and the universe. Precursor of the museum to represent the world in miniature - was private though
Classical: mid 18th century world was too complex, chaotic and fragmented to be contained in the cabinets. Linnean taxonomy classifies the natural world by genus and species. Repositories, study collections that were privated were founded for scholarly research. The rare in the laws of nature was rejected and seen as uncharacteristic or were made to fit in. displays were linear and embrace an ideology of progress.
modern: late 18th century marks the end of elitist institution and beginning of democracy. Military practice became standard. Biology and philosophy arose. Disciplinary public museum  -accessible to all. Aimed to fashion modern citizens. Art was royal, aristocratic or ecclesiastical contexts and reclaimed national patrimony and democratise and secularise the viewer. Temporary exhibitions were formed to celebrate napoleon's birthday.
(can’t change) Many believe museums still conform to this modern model. They may create new spaces and exhibitions for consumptions but at heart, remain elitist institutions. The decision making process often refrains from scrutinising their own histories. Continue to attract (more art galleries) an educated upper and middle class audience, often times remaining irrelevant to marginalised groups. They aim to generate consensus rather than conveying differing perspectives. Curators are above education department. Quantitative vs qualitative.
Are museums able to change or are they becoming obsolete?
(can change) they can because deconstructing the traditional value systems in just the beginning. Can occupy a third space, beyond elitism and consumerism. Some curators are eager to share power by initiating open dialogue and forging new partnerships with groups previously disenfranchised. There are many organisations that are taking diverse approaches to the representation of race, ethnicity, class and gender. Time of the museum as a ‘great collector’ is past. Provenance is important to consider!! Finding culturally sensitive ways to treat non-western objects. Museum is more than a material collection - a lot are still stuck with this. FORUM.
Biggest change comes with the relationship between institution and audience - should be equal. Some are supporting educational research that theorised the museum experience. Acknowledging diverse learning, lectures, performances, videos, workshops etc…
Constitionaries
Visitors must be critical about the choices made by museums.

The Handshake Is Dead – Long Live The Curtsy

The handshake has a long and curious history as far as greetings go. Most historians place the first instance back in the 5th century BCE in Greece, where it was used to demonstrate that one was not carrying a weapon. When used in a commerce context in public markets, it was often combined with another new fad sweeping early civilization – waving (to demonstrate you weren’t holding a weapon in the other hand, either).
Handshakes were, in effect, a very early form of customer authentication.
From Greece, they traveled the world – first to Rome, where they were modified into something more akin to a mutual forearm grab to make sure the other person didn’t have a dagger up his or her sleeve. We’re going to guess Caesar forgot to make the greeting rounds on the Ides of March, and that history might have turned out a good deal differently if he had. From Rome, the practice moved on to the medieval knights. They adopted the practice of grabbing hands as a greeting and introduced the rigorous shaking part, as an attempt to knock loose any weapons another knight might be trying to sneak.
But despite a rather successful 2,500-year run, the handshake might be on its way out, another casualty of COVID-19. Speaking to journalist Kate Linebaugh on The Journal podcast earlier this week, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Anthony Fauci noted that he believes it’s time to retire the handshake to the dustbin of history in the name of protecting human health.
“When you gradually come back, you don’t jump into it with both feet,” Dr. Fauci said. “You say, what are the things you could still do and still approach normal? One of them is absolute compulsive handwashing. The other is, you don’t ever shake anybody’s hands. In fact, I don’t think we should ever shake hands ever again, to be honest with you. Not only would it be good to prevent coronavirus disease; it probably would decrease instances of influenza dramatically in this country.”
No more handshakes? How will we know our business associates and new acquaintances aren’t carrying daggers or attempting to cheat in jousting competitions?
Okay, maybe we don’t technically need the handshake anymore – but assuming we’ll want some kind of standard greeting when this is over, we’ll likely have to replace it. And that might be a little trickier than you think. A quick survey of the world’s greeting traditions indicates that quite a few of them have the same defect as a handshake, and will probably go to the discard pile along with it.
As it turns out, the entire world of human greetings seems to have been designed to thwart Dr. Anthony Fauci.
The double-cheek kiss, popular in Europe and the Middle East, is clearly much worse than the handshake – as is the Slavic tradition of greeting people with kisses directly on the mouth. Pretty much all of the greetings that involve putting your mouth on someone else are probably off the table moving forward. Maori tribesmen in New Zealand greet each other by rubbing noses, while Kenyan men tap foreheads – again, no and no. Ugandan men bump shoulders, which is better insofar as one is not breathing directly into someone else’s face, but it’s still too much contact.
Los Angelenos are getting somewhat closer, with a tendency to skip the cheeks (or the lips) and go with the classic double air kisses. That, however, has the dual problems of pushing viruses into the air and looking absolutely ridiculous. The Tibetan tradition of sticking one’s tongue out in greeting is a slight improvement in terms of how silly one looks while doing it, but is still sub-ideal from a virus-spreading standpoint – and in a world where everyone is wearing masks over their faces while in public, it really doesn’t work, since no one can see your tongue.
In fact, when scouring the world’s classic greetings for possible replacements for the handshake, only two made the cut. The first is the most obvious: bowing. It’s easy to do from a socially acceptable four feet away, it has been popular for roughly 1,000 years longer than handshaking has – and it seems now may be the time it will finally end its millennia-long rivalry with the handshake, and just about everything else.
And honestly, bowing is fine from a public health standpoint, but it’s a bit boring. We would instead recommend adopting the curtsy as the new universal form of human greeting. Yes, we know that historically, curtsying is the female equivalent of bowing, and that it typically involves picking up the edges of one’s gown. We have two replies to that: First of all, people have been working from home for two months, and who knows what they are going to leave their house wearing.
Second, do you know what item of clothing was made to be curtsied in?
The bathrobe.
And do you know what item of clothing your co-workers have all been wearing for the last three to five weeks, and might very well forget to take off when they leave the house in two months?
Yup, the bathrobe.
We rest our case.
And if not the curtsy, on the off chance that we don’t redesign our societal sartorial preferences about daytime bathrobe wearing, then what?
Well, there is the standard military salute – though we suspect that might feel weird to people, and besides, soldiers probably should get to keep their unique thing.
For a variation on that idea, we think the Vulcan “live long and prosper” salute has a lot of merit. But it might take some practice, as making a V with your fingers takes some motor coordination – and there is the small problem of billions of die-hard Star Wars fans who will likely refuse to see anything derived from Star Trek as a sign of goodwill.
Fist bumps and high-fives are probably out for the same reason that handshakes are – but elementary school children nationwide have spent the last few months perfecting what is known as the “air-five” or the “air-bump,” where hands/fists are brought within inches of each other to simulate the slap/bump experience without actually touching. That, however, still requires being closer than six feet from someone, and in the worst-case scenario, it could end with misjudged distance and someone getting punched in the face.
For a really outside-the-box idea, PYMNTS believes the video below offers the best possible option for society to consider.
youtube
Yes, that is the video for the Macarena.
Hear us out. We think this is the greeting innovation that society didn’t know it needed.
First, you can do every part of the Macarena from a respectable six feet away. Second, if everyone starts doing the dance in the presence of every new person they meet, we can promise no one will ever get within six feet of another stranger ever again. So not only does it respect social distancing, it re-enforces it. Third, we think it would be very difficult to hide a weapon on one’s person while doing all the steps of the Macarena. Fourth, we’re all going to be inside for a while, so we’ll have plenty of time to perfect our greeting dances.
Admittedly, our staff – like yours – has been working from home for a while now, so perhaps our finger is less on the pulse of this subject than it could be. But our data tell us that consumers have been changing quite a lot in the last 22 days. They’ve rewritten their lives around a very new paradigm, and done so very fast. They’re cooking instead of ordering out, they’ve refocused much of their spending around necessities and they are worried. Worried about their jobs, worried about their economic future and worried about their health – so worried, in fact, that most say the only thing that will convince them it’s time to go back to normal is the development of a vaccine. A vaccine, experts estimate, that is more than a year away from going to market.
Which means instead of going back to normal, what seems more likely right now is that the world will be building a new normal. A new normal for shopping, for healthcare, for entertainment and for socializing. A new world where there might not be handshakes.
But that is not necessarily bad news – and many of the innovators PYMNTS has interviewed over the last several weeks think there is good reason to suspect that the new shopping, new healthcare, new entertainment and new socializing could well be better than the old versions.
And if the handshake is actually replaced by the Macarena?
We defy anyone to tell us that is not a dramatically improved world.

Note
There are masculine deities and feminine deities. Are there any deities who represent the in between, or genderless deities?
I actually have a document from a class that was all about this. The Instructor gave me permission to post it on here for you. Her name is Darlene Wagner and she’s a huge activist for LGBTQ+ rights. These notes probably have what you’re looking for and much more!
The Spirituality andCultural Diversity of Transgender Persons
An individual with inborn traits, appearance, or social roledifferent from the traditional definitions of gender within his/her society istermed “Gender Non-Conforming”.  Different societies around the world andthroughout human history have had different names for gender non-conformingpeople, while in Western societies, transgender has become thepreferred term.  Many traditionalcultures attribute religious or spiritual meaning to gender non-conformity.  In some traditional, non-Western cultures, lesbian, gay, and bisexual (LGB) individuals are grouped with gendernon-conforming individuals.  Bycomparison, Western society considers LGB persons as   separate from transgender.  Western society also seeks to exclude LGB,transgender, and other gender non-conforming people from religious andspiritual life.  Here, I seek to empowertransgender, intersex, and LGB people with a sense that the Divine encompassestheir gender non-conformityand sexuality.
 I. Terminology of Gender Non-Conformity
- Modern Western
Transgender is the mostwidely accepted term in developed countries for gender non-conforming personswho self-identify as gender role distinct from biological sex.  Transgender is considered an umbrella termencompassing individuals who permanently change their gender, individuals wholive as the opposite sex without permanent physical change, individuals bornwith ambiguous sexual anatomy, or individuals who self-identify as neither malenor female.  Sexual orientation oftransgender individuals can be gay, lesbian, heterosexual, bisexual, pansexual,or asexual.
Cisgender is used to refer tonon-transgender people.  Anon-transgender person performs gender roles or have a gender identity thatconforms to expectations of his or her society. Cisgender remains a controversial term since it tends to dismiss gendernon-conformity among non-transgender people, such as gay men and lesbian women.
Male-to-Female Transgender- Transwoman - MtF.  Born anatomically male but identifies asfemale or feels “inwardly” female.
