Non è bastato un secondo tempo in totale proiezione offensiva, un autogoal e tante occasioni sprecate per raddrizzare un risultato fortemente compromesso nel primo tempo, così il Nardò è uscito per la terza volta sconfitto in casa.

La Nocerina ha capitalizzato un buon quarto d’ora di pressing nel finale del primo tempo e con l’aiuto del vento a favore ha realizzato due goal.

La cronaca narra di una partita molto combattuta ed equilibrata per almeno mezzora poi la Nocerina ha cominciato a spingere sull’acceleratore e a creare qualche occasione da goal.

Al 30′ è bravo De Luca a salvare in mischia su un tiro ravvicinato di Gerbaudo. Sul conseguente corner Provenzano beffava il portiere granata con una parabola (sospinta anche dal forte vento) che si insaccava all’incrocio dei pali più lontano.

Il Nardò provava la reazione con una punizione di Calderoni, facilmente letta dalla difesa rossonera, e capitolava al 42′ quando Marquez innescava D’Agostino, al vertice sinistro dell’area, che con un tiro a giro infilava ancora De Luca. 2-0 e tutti negli spogliatoi.

Nel secondo tempo la reazione veemente del Nardò chiudeva la Nocerina nella sua metà campo e creava una serie di occasioni propizie.

Al 50′ tiro di Correnti parato da Wodzicki. Al 55′ ancora il portiere polacco sugli scudi, bravo a respingere una conclusione di Gassama. Al 58′ parata capolavoro su altro tiro di Correnti da distanza ravvicinata.

Il Toro aumenta la pressione con l’ingresso di Addae. Wodzicki risponde ancora da campione su tiro di Ciracì e deve risolvere una serie di mischie innescate dai cross di De Crescenzo e Munoz.

Il primo goal del campionato nella porta nocerina, però, curiosamente lo infila Padalino, goffo nel respingere un tiro di Gassama all’80’. Il Nardò riaccende le speranze e continua ad attaccare ma deve arrendersi all’87’ quando Ferrari vince il duello con Calderoni e trova lo spiraglio per beffare De Luca. Finisce 1-3 per i molossi con qualche ingenerosa linea di contestazione del pubblico neretino. La Nocerina rimane in scia della capolista Virtus Francavilla mentre il Nardò guarda verso il basso con la paura di essere risucchiato.
