Let's check out a couple new singles from veteran TW acts! =D

First up is the title track from the new 4-song ep by Manic Sheep, their first release since the Deep Dusk 2-song ep in 2019.

I thought I felt excruciatingly happy today, but now I believe it was the caffeine. The small amounts I intake occasionally seem to amplify everything around me. Between that and the overt circumspect in my body language as I stood before the wolves. I felt eaten alive as I waltzed into the open room, hushed whispers and all eyes felt. I plastered the largest smile as I waved, they copied the manner in greeting. Standing with the rest of the herd I felt bare. I am neither sheep nor wolf nor Shepard. Uncategorized and unfamiliar the flicking eyes would always flow back towards me as they discussed miniscule things. I would catch them in apparent staring, wondering what they thought of this being wearing sheep's cloth. I held my head high, arms open, almost a challenge if you saw as much. A wolf came over, their fangs sharp and glinting. The further insecurities within myself begun to spill over as my eyes crinkled in a smile too easy to wear. I courtesy but like much of the forgotten it goes unnoticed. Strange to think it mattered years ago but not in this age. I always wonder if they are trying to feel me out. I want to be comfortable but when the herd speaks so loudly it's hard to believe the wolves don't know. Maybe one day I will understand the underhand tactics of sheep and the absolute control of a wolf. For now, I get neither, avoiding sheep's traps and wolves jaws as I always have. Maybe everyone else sees it this way too? Or is this another coping mechanism my brain has made for me to fill the drab hours of the day with nonsensical thinking and ridiculous notations. Are you a sheep? Wolf? Shepard? Or are you also spectating the flock?
