Welcome!
My main blog is LazyRants, which focuses on the LazyTown (2002 and forwards) era's books & episodes of course.
To distinguish the two eras, I've decided to make this 'latabæjar' blog to review the Latibær books (1995-1997, 1999) excluding Goggi Mega since nobody has that one, and the two plays 'Let's Go, LazyTown!' and it's sequel 'Robbie Rotten Comes to LazyTown'.
If we do get a Latabæjarhátid í Höllini translation, since it's a 2010 play, I'd cover it on the other blog. LazyRants is only up to season two of the TV show, so a lot more to go before I start using this blog.
@lazyrants is my blog until I finish reviewing all the books and episodes and post-Latibær plays. That blog will update you when I start to post here!

Pixel TV (prod 212)
Original airdate: February 15, 2007
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Mani Svavarrson, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Jonathan Judge
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess
If someone randomly asked me to name the ninth episode of season two of LazyTown, it'd take me forever to remember what it was. So, Pixel TV is pretty much unknown to me.
The episode begins with Sportacus going to his screen, and Pixel is on his screen, telling him he's live in four seconds. Sportacus tells the camera that LazyTown is always moving and so are we. Then he does a buncha cool moves.
In his house, Pixel is managing his antenna and is talking to the LazyTown people on his TV screens. He's set up a LazyTown TV channel with good moves, good food and go, go, go! Stephanie will be doing Sportscandy, Bessie and Milford will be doing news, Ziggy and Stingy will be doing their cooking show (probably the funniest segment), and Trixie's doing a talk show (that's why she called Loud Girl).
Everyone has LazyTown TV, even Robbie, and for some reason, the LazyTown theme song plays on his television. He changes to Bing Bang, he changes to Sportacus eating, he changes to Pixel. And at the end of it all, he says.. 'they have their own TV show?!' and doesn't he know it.
Robbie decides if they can have their own TV shows, he can too - since he's handsome, talented and smart. If you're so smart, try actually coming up with a plan that works. Anyways, he has a mini TV that fits on his arm, and now it's time for Stephanie's show. He says he needs a disguise and goes to.. an empty purple box. It makes more sense when you see all his disguises being dropped via a chute.
Colours is performed, and that song really annoys me because mid-way through there is a random cut to Sportacus. I am all for Sportacus scenes, but I'm also all for LazyTown songs. During the song, Robbie steals almost all her Sportscandy, leaving one strawberry. LOL.
Due to that, she cannot make her Sportscandy Rainbow Smoothie (for some reason she keeps on breathing during every word. Sportscandy *sigh* rainbow smoothie.) & Pixel is going to switch to the news so he gets into his Rob R. Robley costume.
When Stephanie turns the camera on (she films and and has her own TV show.. remind you of a blue elf?), Milford doesn't talk. Pixel tells him to go. He asks, 'Go where?' 'You're on!' 'On where?' Haha. I love this season. Then Stephanie tells him the camera is on and to start reading the LazyTown Good News - Three butterflies on the sports field, and new flowers. This town would be so peaceful if it wasn't for Robbie. Speaking of Rob, he shows up with a fan, that blows away his wig and notes.
It's even funnier when you think that someone who was helping write this episode (I'm guessing Mani) said 'Let's give Milford a wig purely to blow it off.' XD! Now, Robley takes his place (Bessie is visibly angry, showing that she doesn't like him purely to use him).
So he announces a buncha lies - Sports Candy makes you sick and all sports has been outlawed forever. By Pixel's request, Stephanie switches over to Bessie's weather show. But Rob takes that pole thingy Bessie's holding and grabs it so hard she falls.
Rob says 'let's take a look at the weather' & signals for Stephanie to pan the camera up. Once she does, he says 'let's take a look at the weather' once again. WHY IS THIS FUNNY? WHY IS STEFAN SO FUNNY?? He takes off the birds, suns, clouds & adds a bunch of storm and rain, telling everyone it's too dangerous to go outside so they must stay inside doing nothing. Now Trixie's doing her yap show.
She's supposed to have a guest, but doesn't then she starts yelling at Pixel about how she needs a guest. Considering the fact he set up an entire TV channel, I think his brain can comprehend it, Loud Girl. Robbie disguises himself as her guest - some apparently famous dude called Purple Legend. Trixie yells at Pixel as he told her they were gonna have interesting guests (PL got steamrolled!), and PL says he eats ice-cream, cookies and candy all day, sleeps till noon, and Trixie says those are both boring. So, PL jumps on the chair out of anger! LOL!!
Trixie says if he's so interesting, he should do something like sing or juggle or DANCE, and he decides to do some weird Irish leg dance or something. Trixie is laughing. LITERALLY.
PL purposefully bumps into the camera, ending the show since the camera broke. And they switch over to Ziggy & Stingy's cooking show, but for some reason, Stingy can't say anything. He tells Ziggy to introduce the show, which he does. They are going to make a castle with apples, and Stingy tells us the ingredients are apples (WOWZA!), 50 of them. Ziggy corrects him by saying fourty-nine since he's eaten one. But they're interrupted by Chef Robert, who cancels them both.
And he is making the most delicious food in history of food - the sugar candy chocolate candy ice-cream gooey-ooey yummy cake. The ingredients - 2 bars of chocolate, a ridiculously excessive amount of sugar, and the candy. The worst part is that he doesn't even take the wrappers off the chocolate bar, or the lollipops off their sticks. Ziggy says it looks delicious but unhealthy.
Robert asks if he's a chef who went to cooking school wearing a big white hat. The answer is of course, no, and he yells at him to go away. The next step is to put the mix in the fridge, but he steps on an apple he threw on the ground, slips and falls, and now the mix is on his head. Slapstick moment.
Anyways, Steph and Trixie managed to get the camera up and running, and now comes the best of all - Bessie's puppet show. I'm being sarcastic, this sucks.
(During it, Pixel complains since this is being broadcast worldwide.) Robbie sees the puppet show, and he says 'Puppets, now they've gone too far!' LOL. He decides now he has to stop the TV station once and for all, and he does that.. with a gorilla outfit. And the way he does it? Instead of scaring him into stopping it, he CLIMBS UP PIXEL'S ANTENNA AND SHAKES IT.
The TV's now all glitchy and stuff, but he shakes too hard and almost falls down. Luckily, Sportacus appears (where ya been dude?) to save the gorilla. Milford is going live with LazyTown Good News. This is sure to make headlines! Milford asks the gorilla what he's doing up there, and he RESPONDS with 'I'm breaking this antenna forever!' But when he falls, Sportacus attaches a hook to Pixel's roof, causing it to open so the gorilla lands in his house. Once he does, the head falls off, and it's revealed that Robbie was doing all this nonsense instead of .. just.. not watching TV.
It turns out well in the end as Milford tells everyone it's just Robbie, Sportacus goes back, & Stingy films Steph doing the Bing Bang. No Sportacus power jump unfortunately. In the lair, Robbie is attempting to forget about the day with ice-cream, but a news report about the day is played on the channel.
And he yells. THE END!
8/10 - Great plot, funny dialogue!

Rockin' Robbie (prod 201)
Original airdate: September 25, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving

Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello

Mmm, a new season! Smells like a new book.
The episode begins with a CGI shot of Sportacus' airship. Not gonna lie, but it looked better in the first season.. Anyways, Sportacus calls for some Sportscandy. He says he loves sportscandy, and also loves to move. So he throws the apple to the wall and it bounces. Then he does a handstand.
In an attempt to do a one-handed handstand, he lifts his hand up, whacking the apple against the wall again. Then he gets up, flips and kicks the apple to the camera. Then he does some more cartwheels and jumps, then he does a handstand and kicks the apple again!THEN he kicks it trying to stand up! And he does another handstand, kicking the poor apple. THEN he does backwards cartwheels, kicking the apple as he lifts up his feet. Sportacus starts to jump on the white circle mats, then starts shuffling from mat to mat. He does another cartwheel, hitting and kicking the apple. Then he does a backflip, a pushup, jumps up, puts his hand up, and bam!
The apple is in his hand. He says that Sportscandy and moving is super cool. What a great way to start a season, giving us the action we expect from LazyTown. Anyways, the main episode starts with a song - 'King of the Town'. A song the kids are performing in the Town Hall.
Stingy is on vocals, Trixie is on mixing, Stephanie is on guitar, Pixel is on piano and Ziggy is on drums. They sound wonderful until Stephanie accidentally gets caught up in her dancing and kicks the cord to her boombox. Then they sound bad enough for Sportacus to check on them to see if anyone is in trouble. Then Sportacus checks on them to see if anyone is in trouble. Stephanie shows Stingy the unplugged cord and he tells her to plug it in before someone discovers they can't play.
Too late. Sportacus insults them indirectly by saying he heard a terrible noise. They tell him it was them playing and he apologizes (not meaning it because that was awful!!). Then Ziggy demonstrates his epik drum skilz!!!1!111! and he almost falls down swinging the sticks.
Luckily, Sportacus catches him and the drum-sticks. Sportacus thinks it is great the kids are starting a band and Ziggy asks if he can play the drums and he can. I love this scene because other than exercise, sportscandy and jumping in muddy puddles, we know a bit more about Sporty's interests, hobbies and skills. Anyways, the drums are so loud Robbie's lair shakes and he comes falling to the ground from his chair. He is pretty annoyed but Bessie and Milford have a more positive reaction - he runs to the town hall. After Sportacus has finished, Milford asks him if that is a beat from a recognizable song, and Sportacus confirms it.
The drum beat is from 'Rock n roll, dude!' by Johnny B. Badd. (This reminds me of when my mother told me about Makoma, a religious DRC family who performed from 1993-2012.) Milford says Badd was his favourite artist as a kid and none of the kids have ever heard of him. Surprised Pixel hasn't because all he does is use the computer. He must've stumbled across some B. Badd fan site on Geocities at least once. Anyways, Milford tells the kids that everyone copied him as a kid. He demonstrates with a photo of Johnny B. Badd's concert poster and a photo of him.. with hair.
Anyways, he asks the kids if they wanna hear his music and they say yes. They go back to his house and play 'Rock your socks off' on vinyl. Everyone is dancing to the (super cool) song. Mani composed it which is great, because he's so talented he can write songs that sound like they're from the 60s! (Not to mention he actually co-wrote this episode.) Meanwhile, Robbie looks at them through his periscope and questions if they have ants in their pants. By the request of Bessie (this is her favorite of Johnny's songs), he turns the volume up. Robbie is still looking and is even more horrified when he figures out they're dancing!
Stephanie (despite this being an instrumental song) loves Johnny's songs and wishes she could hear him sing in person. Milford stops the vinyl and says that is a wonderful idea (it isn't. Johnny could possibly be dead or retired). They are going to award him with a trophy for being their favourite singer. Robbie says that everyone will listen to him and do as he says. Then he comes up with the great idea (shouldn't have taken him seven seconds to come up with) to disguise himself as Johnny B. Badd!
We find out Milford is such a fan he knows Badd's phone number. (He asks how he looks before calling him, XD!) So he dials 555-2-BAD, and the phone line that the Badd's phone is inside is literally miles away from LazyTown. Robbie climbs up to the phone line and answers the call.
Milford asks if this is Johhny, and Robbie says yes. Before agreeing to come to the town, he asks Milford if kids still think he is cool and will obey his every word. Milford says that if Johnny told him to bark like a dog, he'd bark like a dog. Then Robbie tells him to bark like a dog. Much to Bessie's shock, he barks like a dog. The noise startles Robbie and he falls off the phone line with a really loud yell.
The funniest part is it wasn't even that loud - he said it with no effort like 'Woof. Woof.' Anyways, Milford hangs up and he tells them that Johnny sang to him. The kids decide to go practice THEIR music - performing 'Play in a Band'. After the song ends, Milford goes to his office looking for something, then Robbie turns his chair around.
In a reference to 'Robbie Rotten's Greatest Misses' which is a reference to 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas', Milford stutters until Robbie tells him to 'spit it out!' and he does. Bessie faints.
In a @lazytownpoint interview with Mani from 2007, he says he tried to add humor to the episodes. And boy, oh boy, did he succeed amazingly! Milford tells him the kids want to meet him and he does 'the WOW move'. Twice. By the second time, MILFORD faints!
Robbie asks 'Grandpa' if he is okay, then he stands up. Robbie tells him to pull himself together. The kids are drinking water [Ziggy is drinking soda, durr] after their practice and Milford makes a loud-speaker announcement to tell the kids to come meet Johnny. Robbie walks up on stage and he wants to play a super fun game - ''Catch a Rockstar!' How to play?
Well, you might not know and apparently neither did the kids.. I thought the name was very straight forward! Then comes a more cartoony moment where there are stars flying around his head after he gets up and sits on stage. Then he signs autographs.
He signs Stingy's notepad as from 'Robbie' which confuses the kids for a second (that alone should've revealed it was Robbie!!!). He says Robbie is just a rotten friend of his. Milford tells the kids to give him some space because he needs to prepare for the concert. Once everyone leaves, he says to himself that nobody needs to worry about a concert because there won't be one. Meanwhile, Robbie is in his dressing room chillaxing when Milford knocks on the door and he lets him in. Milford is for some reason, in the exact same clothing as Johnny.
Robbie tells him his hair looks terrible then Milford says it's a JBB wig. Then he smiles and does 'the wow move'. He tells him he looks cool, and Milford asks him if he needs anything. Robbie says he needs white towels with blue stripes, assuming it'll take him a long time to find them.
It doesn't. Then he asks for twenty chocolate cookies. He gets them, alongside with a rubber ducky. He tests Milford by asking for a golden trophy, which nearly tricks the Mayor, but he says after the show. Then Robbie asks to get rid of Sportacus, as all the jumping and flipping gets on his nerves. Milford is not too sure about it until Robbie threatens to sing somewhere else. So he sends Sporty a letter.
Sportacus assumes it's his invitation to the concert. And boy, oh boy, does he get a doozy. It's the COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF HIS INVITATION TO THE CONCERT. Also, his confused face is hilarious. Maggi rocks.
Sportacus doesn't go to the concert - he even makes it official with a response letter to the mayor. (I lied - he decides to check up on them 'just in case' (he really wants to go)). Anyways, Milford gives Sportacus' response letter to Robbie who dances of excitement, then switches to the air guitar to avoid suspicion. Then he shuts the door in an attempt to get Milford to shut up about the show starting in three minutes and Milford's wig gets stuck. So, Milford knocks, Robbie opens the door.. and..
He puts on the wig. IT'S A WIGCEPTION!! Until he notices and gives it back to him. Robbie talks to himself about how the concert won't go, then he steps on the rubber ducky (nooo11!!!!), picks it up and carries it, telling it to 'go finish our hair!' XD. The kids who are in the audience are waiting for Johnny then Milford makes an announcement. The show's starting in one minute, and he tells everyone (Pixel) to turn off all devices. Milford sees Robbie trying to take the trophy, and then he pulls the curtain! The kids are confused to see him stealing, but he lies and says he is just polishing it.
Then he puts it back, and just stands on stage. Then the kids tell him he should be singing and once he realizes, he grabs a guitar and hides behind the curtains. He turns on the boombox and performs (undeniably super awesome and amazing masterpiece) 'Rock your socks off'. If only we got a full version, as the song was supposed to last as long until he tripped over the boombox cord. So, anyways, he grabs the trophy and makes a run for it.. then he trips over the guitar and has the trophy stuck on his head.
Sportacus' crystal beeps, and he sees Robbie (who ran outside the door) with the trophy on his head. Using a new vehicle, he travels to LazyTown and sees Robbie who has tripped over Stingy's car and is now on a swing. Sportacus is smiling until he falls off, so he kicks a wheelbarrow. He falls into it, and he's having a ride until the wheelbarrow drives over a rock and he runs into the hall. He closes the door and the handle falls off. Not a problem for Sportacus, who uses his Yoyo to take the door off it's hinges (and put them back on). Then he does a frontflip and snatches the trophy off of Robbie's head.
The disguise is revealed as he also snatches off his wig. (LOL, weave snatch in a Nick. Jr show!) Milford says you can admire people but shouldn't copy them, which is what he has been doing the entire episode. Bessie's sad because they couldn't have a concert, but the kids say they can and perform 'Bing Bang' - the rock version!! Epic.
Robbie declares the plan the dumbest thing he's ever done. Out of anger, he smacks a plate with a cake slice on it while yelling 'ROCK AND ROLL??!!' Then the cake flings on him. Then he says THAT was the dumbest thing he's ever done.
10/10 - Three songs and I love them all - no flaws in this episode.

School Scam (prod 207)
Original airdate: February 13, 2007
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Magnus Scheving, Jonathan Judge
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion, Emily Decola, Mary Robinette Kowal
I hate learning 123s for quick calculation..
I've seen the opening sequence so many times I don't even need to watch it to type this up - Sportacus makes the first three letters of the alphabet clouds using his skutla, and he says 'Now that's how to do the ABCs!' Maybe it has something to do with the fact a short clip of it is seen in every single one of the last two seasons' episodes.
Stephanie is finishing off some of her homework when Milford asks what she's doing at the house, then she asks what he's doing at the house, and he replies with 'I live here' - which reminds me why I think Season 2 is the best season, the humour and music. Máni Svavarrson had some kind of role in both of those, one bigger then the other. So Mani, if you see this, you rock! Anyways, Stephanie reminds him he's the principal of LazyTown School, and he should be ringing the bell and opening the door. So he starts ringing the bell.
Robbie is woken up by the bell and he mistakes it for his phone ringing, so he answers the phone. LOL, then he hears Milford's voice, hangs up, and asks himself who is ringing it. He goes to check using the periscope and sees Milford, and looks away. He says school is a terrible way to start the day - for once he says something agreeable!
Ziggy is attempting to walk to school, but his backpack is too heavy, and he falls into a wheelbarrow. Meanwhile, Stingy is being a moron. Trixie is carrying all his books when she says it's his turn to do so, and he asks what more she wants (Considering he's giving her his property). Stingy and Trixie see Ziggy fly by and Sportacus' crystal beeps. He flies to LazyTown using the sky bike and flips behind Stingy and Trixie, and asks Trixie for.. a pencil??
And Stingy for.. paper. Stingy rips off the CORNER of his page, expecting Sportacus to use that. Trixie yells at him and he gives Sportacus a bigger one. So Sportacus does some boring calculations.
LazyTown's too cool to cover MATHS!!! Anyways, he says he'll save him once he is 5 feet away from the wall, and once he is, he throws a yo-yo, wraps it around a tree, and Trixie tells Ziggy to grab hold of it. He does, and Sportacus gets him off. After thanking him, Ziggy nearly falls down again thanks to how heavy his bag is, and guess what his 'school supplies' were?
Ziggy is fictional. Ziggy is fictional. Ziggy is fictional. Ziggy is fictional. *deep breaths in and out* Anyways, Sportacus grabs an apple, Ziggy bites it, and he's energized now. He runs to school so he isn't late and also because he's excited as Sportacus said he might check up on him. Robbie is somehow annoyed by this and vows to stop the kids from learning anything so they don't become like 'Sportanerd'. LOL. But Stephanie does a frontflip in this episode, so uhh..
He decides to become a teacher so the kids learn nothing. He gets into his Professor H. R. Rottennen (what a boring long name) costume. At school, the kids perform I Like Learning. Once they finish, Milford arrives in the school, as well as Rottennen who introduces himself as the new teacher. When Milford asks why they need a new teacher, he yells at Milford - 'NO TALKING IN MY CLASS!' and he says 'Yes, teacher!'
I love this show. Rottennen pushes Milford out the room. So, the kids starts the lesson.. by sitting in a student's chair. LOL! The kids have to tell him he's supposed to sit up at the front. He laughs, and does so. Anyways, now it's reading time which yet again, the kids have to tell him. And here comes one of the funniest sequences from this show: He tells them to open their books, turn them around, and go to sleep!
I think it's this shot that just makes me laugh. Because all you can hear is his snoring for 2 seconds. Stingy coughs into a MEGAPHONE to wake him up. Then he wakes up, falls off his chair, stands up, and starts doing karate to.. the air?
I could take this scene, speed it up and caption it with sometihng funny like 'bro thinks he's bruce lee' or 'one minute without zaza', upload it to YouTube and get a million subscribers or something because that's how advanced humor is nowadays (even though I think my imaginary captions are funny but whatever). Anyways, when he realizes he looks like a weirdo, he says he's just stretching.
That's why this show rocks - it teaches you how to live healthy while appealing with amazing music & humor. It's been eighteen years since this episode was written and the humor still makes people laugh to this day. Anyways, now it's time for maths (LOL that was like 25 seconds), and they get out their maths books - Thus spawning the incredible quote once again 'Open your books, turn them around, and go to sleep!' Then they tell him that they're supposed to be adding and subtracting, and when he's lost words to say..
The bell comes in handy and the lesson has already ended. I wanna go to LazyTown School! After a while they have their next lesson which is outside. And Robbie tells them to sit down, lean, and go to sleep. LOL. But the kids keep on whining. Luckily, Sportanerd comes to the rescue.
He asks what new things they're learning and apparently they've learned to jump and flip and stuff, but the kids reveal they haven't learned how to jump the horse, and it takes a while for him to figure out what horse they mean. He attempts to do the jump aaaannnddd..
Oof! Hey Rotten, how are the family jewels? Then he turns upside-down, and falls off the horse. Then he says 'That is how you jump the cow.' I actually chuckled at that one. Maybe it was Stingy's response 'a COW?????' Stephanie asks Sportacus if he can teach the kids new moves. He does a QUADRUPLE backflip off the horse! Anyways, Rottenenn has somehow gone underground and is cutting a hole in the ground.
Once he comes back up, he tells the kids to go back inside and have a snack. When they all leave, he tells Sportacus that he didn't quite catch the landing of when he jumped off the horse and would like if he could do it again so he can teach the kids how to do so. So he does it again, Rottenenn pulls a lever that came out of nowhere, and mixing some shots from Secret Agent Zero and new ones for this episode, he falls into his trap.
He then goes back to class, snickering until he sees the kids with their science gear and he yells. Gosh, I love this episode. Now it's time for science. Rottenenn tells them to OPEN THEIR BOOKS, TURN THEM AROUND, LEAN FORWARD, AND GO TO SLEEP. I think this was the funniest because Stephanie has a huge smile on her face until she hears 'turn around' and looks at Trixie like Trixie's the camera and she's the main character in the sitcom. LOL!!!
The kids are now annoyed a lot and they tell him that they want to do science, and he actually listens to them. He starts flicking through some pages, and finds a formula. He starts mixing a few liquids and coincidentally, that's the exact same formula for..
AN EXPLOSIOOOONNNNNNN!! The liquid starts foaming, and all the kids run out. The only one still in there is Rottenenn. Robbie tries to open the door, but he breaks the handle, as well as Stephanie on the other side. The school explodes, Rottennen has to go to hospital, the end. Not really the end because the crystal beeps and Sportacus attempts to open the trap by getting the horse off it. Stephanie goes to find Sportacus, and she finds out he is trapped.
She tries to move the chair but she cannot since she isn't strong enough. Sportacus asks if there is Sportscandy nearby & he tells her to do the jump/flip that he did to get the Sportscandy and push the chair. Sure enough, she does it! But in one of the shots she looks like she JUMPED to get the apple.
She takes one bite and pushes the chair. Conveniently, Sportacus jumps onto the chair. Meanwhile, Rottennen has ripped the curtain and tied it to a table and is going to jump out the window, but Sportacus is jumping through the hole on top of the door. When he gets in, he startles Rottennen, causing him to fall out but Sportacus stops the table with his leg.
He asks the kids for help to stop the chemical reaction. Trixie opens up the science book and Pixel figures out the right amounts and liquids to put in - a little bit of the orange, a lot of the red, a liquid par?? of the green one. And whoop-de-doo, the green one is at the end of the table.
It explodes and they don't have school or a superhero anymore. The end. Well, not really, because here comes one of the coolest parts of the episode - Sportacus lets go of the table, flips across the teacher's desk, AND GRABS HOLD OF THE TABLE!
In his office, Milford is wondering how the new teacher is going. XD. Anyways, attempting to put just ONE drop of the green liquid inside, the cloth nearly rips, but Sportacus does it! THEN the cloth actually rips, but luckily Sportacus grabs it.
Milford hears the twang of the curtain, asks himself what it was, and despite the fact Rottenenn is literally outside of his window, he ignores it, and thinks it's nothing. Yes, the school nearly exploding & your 'new teacher' almost falling to the ground is nothing. Sportacus lifts him up back into the classroom, and his glasses fall off. Sportacus puts the door handle back in place, and opens the door, asking if the kids are okay. Robbie takes his wig off, replying with a firm YES! And now, the disguise is revealed, which is kinda stupid, because how'd he forget the kids were there?
Robbie says he thinks he has some homework to do and leaves the room. The kids thank Sportacus and say they learned something new - Open your books, turn around, STAND UP AND DANCE! They perform Bing Bang. During the song, Milford nods his head, hinting that NOW he hears everything. Robbie attempts the experiment in his lair, saying that it will work this time and it fails.
He says 'Maybe not.' and he didn't open any books, turn them around, lean forward (he leaned backwards!) and went to sleep. He'll feel that when he wakes up!
10/10 - This episode was so exciting and intense and it almost made me want to go to school.

Friends Forever is probably one of the most heart-warming episodes of the series and would've fitted better as a finale then Toys.
YouTube keeps annoying me thanks to V3, so beware 480p screenshots from a (luckily, widescreen) DVD rip from the 2000s.
It's a new day in LazyTown, and that means a new move for Sportacus. But this day calls for a harder move - pushup twist. He decides to attempt it, and he succeeds!
I swear, if you cannot guess how he was able to do it- THE CLUE IS IN THE IMAGE!! Well, if you can't, you weird, bruh. Anyways, in the new Sports Park, Stephanie is finishing off her painting of the sign. She yells for her friends to check it out.
She tells them what it is, all the kids are literally standing right in front of it and yet Pixel still needs his binoculars. But, it's reasonable as he's actually looking at all the games. Ziggy questions her setting up the field, and she says she did, of course, since they're friends forever. They all put their hands together, and on 3 and yell 'FRIENDS FOREVER!' Stephanie decides to show them all the games - Hit the Can.
Swinging it around like a cowboy, Stephanie gets a score of 50! Ziggy yells out 'This is so cool!', startling Robbie who's having a power nap. So he goes to check out what's happening, and currently, Stephanie is attempting to do the power slammer.
But it is way too heavy and she is toppling over. And here comes what might be the most epic rescue of season two - Sportacus does a few flippity floppities to the sport park, swings into a cool handstand to LIFT the paint off the wagon, and kicks it back so Stephanie lands safely.
Sportacus lifts the hammer to see how heavy it was, and it really was heavy. So he decides to give them Sportscandy as they might need it later. Foreshadowing. Stephanie tells Sportacus this is their Sports Park, Stingy says it's his, Pixel says it's THEIRS, and they go back and fourth until Stingy brings out his menacingly deep voice. XD. Jodi is HILARIOUS! Stephanie shows him the Sports Park & one game captivates him most - Hand Walker. He tries it, of course, and he does it! Ziggy is pretty scared. Stephanie explains you go handle to handle with your hands only.
Once he finishes, Stephanie tells the kids about her idea of a contest and Stingy wants to win without even knowing the prize - which is a ticket to Sportacus' airship. Sportacus leaves after wishing them all good luck. Meanwhile, Robbie is for some reason blowing a blue balloon (again, for some reason), when he overhears Trixie wanting to go to the Sportship and questioning who'd want that.
Midway through - he gets an idea to go out there and let ALL the air out and he does a slightly useless demonstration with the balloon that sends it flying. It's disguise time and he disguises himself as a daredevil. The kids perform 'New Games Everyday'. At the end of the songs, the kids say they're having so much fun and nothing could be better then this. Here comes Robbie with his shaky cup.
Like with Stephanie, there's a contest - but this time is for whoever stays in the longest. Who does so gets a ticket to Sportacus' airship. Steph says she has one like that (but yours is REAL! Look at his excessively purple card.), and Robbie says he has ten. The kids get in the shaking cup, Stephanie asks 'Friends Forever??' but she is ignored.
She decides to sit on a bench. Sadly. And she takes off the photo of her and her friends. Meanwhile, Sportacus has left his ladder out, meaning Robbie can easily enter the airship. He throws away the fake tickets and keeps the real one, which I dislike, since there is no explanation for how he obtained it. Anyways, he climbs the ladder to the airship, and Sportacus flips over to him.
He asks who he is, and Robbie replies with 'a lucky winner'. He was reasonably expecting one of the kids, and Robbie shows him the ticket for proof. Now Sportacus is happy to have him. Robbie asks for soda, and he pulls out WATER.
Even funnier when Robbie literally gags, implying he has never drank water before and enjoyed it, meaning he doesn't drink it 99% of the time, but you need water to live.. Anyways, he asks for chocolate, and Sportacus pulls out an APPLE.
So he has the most healthy things you could ever consume. He even takes a tiny sip of water to be nice. Not very rotten in my eyes! Robbie asks him how he keeps the airship.. well.. in the air, and he pumps it up with air by jumping on this cool thing.
I thought it was one of the greatest parts of his airship when I was younger for some reasons - it's bouncy and he flips off it. Then he asks how he lets the air OUT - by pulling a lever.
Meanwhile in the shaking cup, the kids are getting dizzy and Stingy is upside down (LOL), and Stephanie is reluctant to save the kids - but she remembers their promise - FRIENDS FOREVER! Pixel tells her to turn it off by using the lever, but it falls off! In the airship, Robbie asks if there is anyone to save. Sportacus says the citizens of LazyTown are all safe, and they go back and forth and stay awkwardly and the crystal beeps & Robbie says 'YES' when Sportacus says someone is in trouble. LOL.
So he leaves Robbie to go look at the kids with the telescope. He leaves Robbie. Alone. In the airship. Unsupervised. Where he could easily release air from the airship.
Sportacus falls but he grabs on to something. Robbie decides to jump for it but the parachute doesn't work like it should've and he's just stuck hanging there. Literally.
Lolz. Meanwhile, Stephanie is rescuing the kids in a super duper cool way - using the HAND WALKER! She gets all the kids out one by one, telling them to grab her legs.
Sportacus loses grip of his telescope, and the kids notice it drop and they see Robbie and Sportacus in the air. They devise a cool plan to save him - Ziggy swings the can hitter and Sportacus grabs it, tying it to the airship door. Even more daring then Robbie, he JUMPS OFF whatever he was holding onto and tries to enter the airship by climbing the rope.
But one side of it unties, and Sportacus is left dangling in the air. Swinging from the left (take it back, now y'all, one hop this time, right foot, let's stomp..) to the right!
He attempts to climb up but is not nearly as strong to. Stephanie remembers that Sportacus gave her some spare Sports Candy. They devise a plan to get it to him by using the Power Slammer - they put it on the lower side of the thing you're supposed to hit. Stephanie hits it as hard as she possibly can, and it flies in the air and Sportacus swiftly catches it and bites it ONCE.
And whatcha know, he's strong enough to climb up the rope and Enter The Airship (the greatest Magnus Scheving movie of them all..). The airship is gonna crash as the air supply is becoming lower and lower, and luckily Sportacus jumps into the airship and he cranks the lever as hard as he can.
Robbie is sooo clooosee to getting the pole in the town hall stuck up his posterior, but luckily, he has cranked the lever enough and it doesn't crash. So it goes back to being an airship, he jumps on the bubble a few times. He then drives the airship back in the air.
Robbie's glad he made it out safe and happy - but not for long! The useless parachute has ripped off the door, and he falls thousands of feet.. and lands in the shaking cup. How realistic.
Sportacus attempts to tip Robbie out of the shaking cup but it is way too shaky, so he grabs the lever and fixes it. It is finally revealed it's Robbie, and he fibs about the shaking cup being fun. So Stephanie shakes it a bit more.
Sportacus thanks the kids for saving him, they do the 'shout-123' thingy and perform Bing Bang! During the song, in an attempt to go back to the lair, Robbie gets stuck to the ceiling.
Cheap parachute.
10/10 - Moral: Never turn back on your friends. Amazing rescues too.

The LazyTown Circus (prod 203)
Original airdate: February 12, 2007
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello

In this episode, a song that starts off wonderfully and ends terribly is played, and Stephanie dresses up in her most horrendous costume in the entirety of the 100+ episodes produced (including the campaigns, Extra, Sproutlet Show).
Sportacus is playing with a Yoyo in the airship. He wraps the string around his water bottle and pulls it to him. While drinking, the crystal beeps. He goes outside to see what it is, and it's a fly stuck in a mailbox. WOW. JUST. WOW. Using the yoyo, he gets it out.
Look at that 3D effect. In 2013, three episodes from the then-new season were played in cinemas. Imagine if this was one of them and it was in 3D! Anyways, he wraps the yoyo around the mailbox handle and pulls up the yoyo, opening the mailbox and freeing the fly. The main episode starts with Trixie dialogue, my second-least favourite character so it's getting off to a bad start. She's doing a high-wire (that isn't that high), and once she finishes, it's Ziggy's turn. Can you predict what happens next? Yep, right. Robbie decides to eavesdrop (after playing two of his piano keys, for someone reason one makes a moo noise, so that was funny)..
Ziggy gets scaareeed.. beep beep beep. Sportacus attaches a hook to his belt buckle, and jumps out the airship. Supa. Kewl. Mainly because he's 3D animated in one of the shots & he doesn't even hit the ground.
Anyways, Ziggy's still being a whiny scaredy-cat, he's not even halfway through the walk, and Robbie is literally CHUCKLING. I don't blame him, either. Sportacus flips over to him, and he gives a 'u serious right neow bro' face to Ziggy, then he smiles and taps his shoulder. He lifts him off. Ziggy tells him he knew he wasn't that high up but he was still scared, and he gives him some good advice - try to be a little brave. Once he leaves, it's Stephanie's turn and she says that it's too low for her. Trixie says she's never been on a real one before, Steph says she has (she says they're as high up as TREES).
Ziggy believes her and even asks for her to help him and Trixie with the high walk and to do other cool stunts, and the idea comes for them to start a THE LAZYTOWN CIRCUS (lol episode name in episode review hehe) with animals, cotton candy (Guess who said that? They both said no), music, stunts, & cotton candy (Oh my god, Ziggy. SHUT. UP). When they leave, she decides to try the high walk.
Meanwhile, Stingy & Pixel are being epic gaemers!!11!! when Trixie comes in and tells them everything, including that they need animals. Stingy comes with actually funny dialogue - 'Pick Pixel! He's been eating cheesy garlic Crunch-O's all day and he smells like elephant feet! (Pixel breathes in his face) Urgh, call animal control, something's died in Pixel's mouth!'
Out of all the screenshots I've took for this review, this is my ultimate favourite. So after some more funny dialogue and an angry Trixie moment, we go back to Stephanie attempting the high walk once more, but she herself is scared.
When she sees Ziggy running to her, he puts the pole higher then it originally was. Ziggy runs to Stephanie with a clown nose on and tells her he is a clown. Red nose or not, he is a HUGE CLOWN. He falls (??????) Robbie laughs. He stands up, questions how high the pole is and tells Stephanie she's his hero. So screw the dude who saves you everyday & tells you how to live a healthy life. When Robbie overhears Ziggy's excitement about starting a circus, he attempts to think up a plan to stop it, but he can't think of anything. The end. Until, he starts whining about the annoying things of circuses and talks about cannons - then he devises a plan to shoot Sportacus out of one.
Ziggy sends Sportacus a letter asking if he'll do some circus stunts. He decides a few moves to do - the first one being this one where he throws a tennis racket from arm to arm, throws a ball in the air, AND HOLDS THE RACKET WITH ONE FINGER, AS WELL AS THE BALL. Then he throws a glass plate onto there as well.
And here comes a somewhat funny Disguise Time - Robbie chooses the ringmaster outfit and a light shines on him like he's actually in a circus.
He introduces himself as Roberto The Great, funny dialogue, etc. He ends his speech with 'LET'S START THE SHOW!' Anyways, for once, they do something with the Mayor's approval. They tell him about the circus. When Trixie says Steph's doing the high walk, she says Sportacus might do it. The animals Stingy and Pixel introduce themselves with obnoxious noises. LAZYTOWN FURRY PROPAGANDA AT 3AM NOT CLICKBAIT MUST WATCH 4K ULTRA HD. Anyways, Sportacus flips in and handstands, saying he is ready for circus stunts.
Milford starts saying a bunch of stuff they need for the circus, and Trixie tells him they already have most of the stuff he's talking about. Sportacus says they just need a ringmaster, and they get a ringmaster.
Roberto instructs them to follow him, and somehow, the LazyTown circus has just.. gotten there. Did he buy it like in Mystery of the Pyramid? Did he build it? Was it already there? They all follow him and go inside the circus.
They look for a few seconds until Robbie tells them to get prepared. Then we cut to Bessie and Milford for like five seconds after they bump into each other and Milford tells her he's got the tickets. Well, that was kinda useless. Anyways, Pixel is the head of a zebra.. horse thingy & Stingy is the tail which he complains about. They compromise to take turns. Then Pixel burps and Stingy runs out for air. I don't get why this is slightly funny but it is. Everyone is in their costumes, Milford & Bessie have arrived, and it's Time to Start The Show! (During the video, Steph plays the sax and spit comes out. Yuck.)
After taking the screenshot, I realized that is not the case.. *facepalm*, Trixie made it look like that with her water flower. After the song, Roberto tells Sportacus his very important role - to go into the cannon and fly into the 'very safe' net. He agrees once Roberto says the kids would love it. So he handstands his way to the cannon.
Before he gets in, Roberto tells him to put on his goggles (don't want anybody gettin hurt). He also tells him to cover his ears so he doesn't hear anything, and it works. Anyways, it's time for the high wire and Stephanie's too scared to. Roberto gets Ziggy and Trixie out of the way and tells them to stay there, pulling a lever that traps them in a net. He pulls up the net so they're just hanging in the air. Stephanie yells 'Oh no!' and Roberto overhears her.
Roberto chases Stephanie for a while, bringing up the question - what would he do if he caught her? Anyways, she climbs up the ladder, and Roberto drops the ladder so she can't get down. Milford and Bessie are idiots who think this is all staged. Stephanie attempts to get to them, but she can't, and she reveals she was lying. Took her long enough! Ziggy says she just has to be brave, and what ya know? She does it!!
lolwut. The crystal beeps, which Robbie thinks is the perfect time to launch Sportacus out. Sportacus swings onto this swingy thingy with his hands, and flips so now he's holding onto it with his legs. When Steph loses grip, he catches her.
Stephanie does an astonishing backflip onto the ground, then ANOTHER one after she lands. Sportacus does one only. But then again, he's Sportacus. He gets Ziggy & Trixie down, and the horse/zebra finally decides to make an appearance. Roberto says it's the perfect getaway and uses it as one, but Stingy & Pixel can't handle his weight, so they topple him over and he falls into a drum.
Notice the season one prop in the screencap. His hat falls off, and everyone finds out it's Robbie. Then he tells the kids to not try this at home (LOL). Stephanie apologizes to them for lying about her bravery, but they say she was brave enough to be truthful & actually go on the high wire. Ziggy is still sad they didn't get to see anyone on the high wire. So Sportacus goes on the high wire, and he's so daring he does FLIPS on the wire!
Then they perform the circus version of Bing Bang, which is pretty bad if I may say. In the lair, Robbie says that he was so close and he'll get Sportacus soon. He tries sitting down, but he can't, ya know, considering he has a drum on his posterior.
7/10 - Revisiting it, I liked it more. It was the song & costumes that put me off.

The LazyTown Snow Monster (prod 210)
Original airdate: December 15, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello

Review of a Christmas special - valid because Christmas in July!
Sportacus is in his airship and he's playing with a katana. Oh, go ahead and motivate kids to play with sharp things, okay. He throws a strawberry in the air and catches it with his katana. Same with a grape, a lemon, another strawberry, and a blueberry. He decides to unlock/open the door, AND HE THROWS THE KATANA OUT.
Then, he gets out a hook to bring the katana back up. The fruits are all in ice cubes, and he puts them all in a bowl. He calls them 'Sportscandy Ice Cubes' and puts them in a glass of water, and takes a sip.
I should probably point out he calls them cool. I really hope that pun was intended. It's a lovely snowy day in LazyTown, and Milford seems to be looking for something when Stephanie comes in. Stephanie questions the smell ('Welcome to LazyTown' reference?), and it's Milford's bait for catching fish. He tells Stephanie he can't find his fishing hat. Whaddya know, he was WEARING IT. But Stephanie is looking for something of her own.
It turns out to be a costume. The kids have been playing Catch the Snow Monster and Stephanie is the snow monster this time, so she needs a fluffy, scary, tremendously horrifying. What do you know, Milford's wearing it. So they do a hat swap.
Stephanie looks ridiculous. Milford thinks he looks pretty. Self-love crosses into delusion, but OK. So the kids are playing Snow Monster on the field, when Steph sees Ziggy on the court, scanning in front of him for her. Then she scares him and he dives for some reason. Pixel has a device to catch her. (Why does he wanna catch his crush..?) And Trixie's going old-school, using a net (that she just found). And Stingy asks when it's his turn to be the Snow Monster. Meanwhile, Milford is fishing.
He thinks he found a fish but he goddamn well knows he didn't. The kids are still playing Snow Monster when Stingy's whining about being it wakes up Robbie. He questions why they're playing outside in winter (If I was them, I'd be drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows next to the heater, watching a movie.. ah... these Americans, so lucky with their snow. IT'S WINTER WHILE I'M WATCHING THIS AND IT'S NOT EVEN COLD!!). He decides to check out what they're doing, and he sees the Snow Monster Steph, and RUNS AWAY while dabbing.
Stefan Karl brought so much life to Robbie Rotten. Then he realizes snow monsters aren't real and reluctantly goes back to the periscope. He realizes it's just the silly kids. THEN he feels something coming. It's either a brilliant idea or his periscope hitting him in the back of the head.
Double dipper. Coincidentally and conveniently, Robbie literally already has a SNOW MONSTER COSTUME. Meanwhile while Milford is fishing, the ice starts to crack and instead of getting out of there he watches as it breaks. Or maybe he's waiting for Sportacus to save him, because the crystal beeps and he does exactly that. He drives the skutla over Milford and tells him to tie his fishing rope to the Skutla's wing thingy. And Sportacus turns over the skutla and drops Milford in a pile of snow. He pulls over in the air, puts on his scarf and checks on Milford.
It turns out he didn't know how dangerous frozen lakes were because he didn't see Macaulay Culkin in 'The Good Son'. Sportacus tells him abut the danger of frozen lakes, then goes back to his airship. Milford puts up a sign. Back at the lair is a fourth-wall break, and I hate fourth wall breaks mostly because most kids shows have annoying characters talking to the camera and LazyTown wasn't the type of show for that and it never should've did that, and they didn't! Well, with some promos and LazyTown Extra as an exception. Anyways, Robbie was fourth-wall breaking in the worst way - talking to the camera.
Robbie puts on the costume FINALLY. This disguise time doesn't rhyme unfortunately, it's just weather descriptions 'too rainy, too sunny..' Anyways, when he discovers it works he is extremely happy. It's Stingy's turn to be the Snow Monster, and he says no-one can catch him. Then someone catches him.
Too soon. Sportacus flippity flops into the game to see what they're doing and they explain everything to him. Stephanie asks him what his favourite thing to do as a kid in the snow was, and he says it was building a snowman. They do so while performing 'Snow, Give Me Snow'. Then once they finish he goes back to the airship. Anyways, for some reason Pixel thinks they need some tunes so he goes to get his solar-powered boombox which is stupid because it's SNOWING. Anyways, the kids go in the fort, thus bringing us some funny dialogue. Ziggy says he wishes he could have a fort all year long, Trixie says it'd melt and become water, Ziggy says he'd just make it a water fort and Stingy says it would melt. While they're all having fun, the party diarrhea-er Robbie comes out the shell.
As he falls down climbing over the wall, the kids hear him and wonder what it is. Stephanie goes outside to check what it was and she sees a 'The LazyTown Snow Monster' as she said at the beginning of the episode. Robbie says that was great after Stephanie hides in the igloo. Trixie wants to catch the Snow Monster, but Stingy says they need a bigger net. Then Stephanie decides a way to stop a SNOW monster is by throwing SNOWballs at him. ???? They think it's a good plan but the Snow Monster falls off the chair (I genuinely chuckled) so they can't put it in action.
Meanwhile, Milford is on the field and he sees the igloo and decides to check it out. But the kids have their snowballs in their hands at they aim at the guy who runs the town. It takes them SIX SECONDS to figure out it's not a snow monster.
He tells them that there is nothing to be scared of and they should come out. He tells them if there was a real snow monster there would be footprints. And the footprints he are talking about pop up TWICE. Then Milford has a nice surprise. He just needs to turn around. Which he does. And he screams. And he runs into his house and so do all the kids. Trixie decides to look out the window for the monster, Milford decides to lock the doors and Ziggy decides to run to Milford asking how much candy he has because apparently 'we need supplies until summer'.
Anyways, Stephanie devises a plan (Julianna's acting is AMAZING in this episode.) - Ziggy wears the extremely terrifying white hat & jumps onto Milford's back. Stephanie covers them with a white sheet. This is supposed to apparently scare the Snow Monster away.
Then they go outside, struggling to move. Trixie & Stingy are doubting the plan. And the two falling is the LAST STRAW for Trixie so she decides to go outside. Stingy asks to have her toys if she gets eaten. If I was Steph, I'd smack him. Anyways, when Robbie sees Trixie he starts to hide. When Trixie's close to him, he keeps on moving and falling down so that she can't find him. So if Trixie follows the sound he won't even be there, until Robbie decides to lie down until she comes. When she finds him she isn't so brave anymore.
She runs and hides behind a tree. Meanwhile, at Milford's house, Stephanie and Stingy are convinced they're fine. Trixie is still hiding and Ziggy/Milford are still trying to scare away Robbie. Robbie is scared of them. They are scared of Robbie. Pixel has finally got the boombox (weren't you away for like ten minutes? slowpoke) but he doesn't know where they are. So while he is looking around he spots the Snow Monster behind him. Meanwhile, Trixie has literally CLIMBED THE TREE BRANCH and it's about to fall.
Sportacus' crystal beeps, and it's seemed to be taking him the whole episode to get back to the airship. Anyways, he sees Milford and Ziggy and says 'A snow monster scaring the kids away! This is serious.' He flips his way over to Trixie. As he jumps over a wall, he calls for a snowboard and skis over to Trixie, catching her after she falls.
Trixie notices and tells Sportacus the snow monster is getting away, so he decides to throw a snowball at the sign, whacking Milford's gyatt (why did I type this), and he falls over. Sportacus unveils the snow monster. Trixie tells him that's not the snow monster he saw, and then Robbie shows up.
Robbie runs into the frozen lake and falls in. He grabs onto the sign and Sportacus gets the skutla. He attaches the hook to the sign and lifts him up. He drops him right outside Milford's house, where the head of the disguise falls off, and everyone knows it's him. His response? He admits it's cold, and he goes back to the lair. They sing Bing Bang. Back in the lair, Robbie is so cold, he's covering himself with two towels, putting one of those squishy bottles you put warm water on on his head, and his feet in BOILED WATER. He notices there's a fish inside his shirt somehow and takes it out.
7.5/10 - It was better then the last Christmas special and acting was good.

Double Trouble (prod 215)
Original airdate: September 28, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Jonathan Judge
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion
Double Trouble - Robbie's disguise is terrible in this episode, so will the song and story make up for it?
Sportacus' cold open is a great start as it is a possible homage to Bruce Lee. He calls for two carrots and connects them together - reciting the nunchuck routine from Enter the Dragon. Then he calls for ANOTHER two carrots, swinging them around. Sweet homage, cool homage.
Meanwhile, Milford is looking for a hat.. that is on his head. He doesn't notice until Stephanie takes it off for him. Every show needs their comedy relief, but Milford's is a teeny bit exaggerated. Milford is going butterfly catching and he's got all he needs - a tent and his butterfly catching net. Stephanie reminds him to come back by three o'clock as he is scheduled to announce the annual LazyTown rule (pretty sure you don't need to announce a rule every year..). Then they say goodbye and Milford leaves. Meanwhile, Robbie has a hammer.
And because he is a grown man who is responsible.. he hits his thumb on the hammer. I get him yelling and shaking it, he's in pain. And unfortunately, I also understand him sucking it like a small man who is unresponsible.
It's so funny because it was so sudden. The only thing you could hear for a few seconds was a hammer banging. Imagine closing your eyes for a few seconds.. then - 'DAAAAAÆÜGH'. Anyways, after sucking his thumb, he spits and throws the hammer away. He says that now those noisy, nosy kids will never be able to find his 'super secret' lair. When a noisy, nosy adult finds his super secret lair.
He's just here to tell him everything, and also about how he's going to return at 3 for the annual rule. Robbie is bored and mocking him up until that part.. -annual rule- Then he is trying to get him to go after a few questions (A new rule that everyone must follow no matter how greedy and selfish it might be? Milford's reaction to that's hilarious!!). Now all he has to do is to make sure the Mayor doesn't return and disguise himself AS THE MAYOR and make his own rules. IT'S DISGUISE TIME!! After he figures out how to get the wooden X of his door.
Don't worry. He found some random crowbar hanging around. Meanwhile, Milford is looking at the lovely day, then starts looking for some sunscreen. He looks in the tent. Back to Robbie who has reached his lair (for some reason, he didn't just come falling out the chute like in Season 1). He stands up, dusts himself off and declares it Disguise Time. Then he shows up in the LEAST Milford Meanswell looking disguise ever.
That is weird. Luckily, the song 'Fun to be Mayor' doesn't really make me think about this too long - I like the parts where Robbie stops his Milford voice and begins the rough voice. Anyways, after the song, Ziggy is wearing a hat with a fake snake on top of it, sneaking around and he has a hung a cage. When Stephanie comes around, she asks what he is up to and he explains that he is waiting to catch.. A DINOSAUR. He's confused when Steph tells him there aren't any more.
He says they could come back. Cry Dinosaur II? Anyways, it's almost three and everyone is waiting for Milford.. but he isn't back yet. The kids are talking about this when a sudden WOAH WOAAAHAHHH - it's Trixie attempting to be cool by putting herselves and maybe her friends in danger by SKATING - not cool. Stick to the scooter (one of the reasons why this is out of character - Trixie only rides her scooter)
The crystal beeps and coincidentally, Sportacus is driving the skutla. So he stops and Dyri- I mean Magnus flips out of the skutla, jumps over a wall, rolls, grabs a skateboard and jumps over another wall. Trixie trips over a curve and does a frontflip. So Sportacus lies on the skateboard and rolls over to a sheet being dried outside. He holds it so Trixie bounces off it. Then she backflips and Sportacus flips to catch her.
He puts her down and she almost falls down thanks to dem skates before Sporty holds him. Kinda unneeded - the episode would have gone well without the rescue, but I guess it's better then him just flying to town to see what the kids are doing. Anyways, he asks the kids where the Mayor is but they say they don't know. Meanwhile, instead of GOING in the tent, Milford is still crawling looking for the sunscreen when Robbie comes over to kick his butt. Literally. LOL.
So, then he zips up the tent. Robbie remembers it's almost three and goes back to LazyTown. The crystal beeps and Sportacus runs to the other side of town, passing Robbie's lair.. and Robbie.
So far in the show, Robbie has been in the airship, and this is the second time Sportacus has been to Robbie's billboard lair. Anyways, Sportacus asks Robbie if he is okay. He says yes and tells him the crystal's out of order. Sportacus reminds him of the rule and he walks to town with Robbie. Who walks the wrong way until Sportacus helps him.
The kids are a bit worried until he finally walks up onto the stage and he crouches down to the podium. They're all smiling waiting for the rule, hoping it'll be something good. Then he spews out - 'LazyTown has no more SportsCandy.' You can see the smile wipe off Julianna's face, hilarious!
Then he walks off stage and into the office, saying that was easy. Comes in Bessie Busybody who has baked Milford a cake. Robbie tastes some of the frosting and calls it terrible and it tastes like an old shoe. Then he looks outside to find the kids playing basketball. Before going out he tells Bessie he wants her cake and her out of town by the time he is back. Robbie asks the kids what they're up to, and tells them sports is banned. He also put up a few signs. He drops a bag on the floor telling them to put all their sports stuff in the bag.
Robbie asks how many sports there are and Stingy is rambling on and on until Robbie yells NO MORE SPORTS!!!! Steph asks what they can do if they can't play sports, and he says something quiet. Ziggy pulls out an apple even though it was established he just banned them. Robbie opens the door and snatches it from him as he is about to take a bite and throws it into the bag. Then he takes the bag back to the office. The kids know this is wrong..
Well, most of the kids, but as Ziggy says 'rules are rules'! Sportacus enters the Mayor's office, looking for him and Robbie enters after him. Sportacus wants to discuss the new rules. Robbie asks Sportacus if he is the type of person to follow rules and enforce the kids to do so. He says yes to all the questions. Milford shows Sportacus the kids outside, following the rules. He says they don't want sports, sports candy, or Sportacus. And he makes a new ruke, Sportacus has to leave LazyTown forever!
He takes all the balls and starts deflating them while singing a line of 'Fun to be mayor'. Sportacus goes back to the airship and the kids are super bored, when Stephanie stands up and says they have to find out what's happening. French fry hair boy agrees. Trixie says this is all wrong, and Ziggy says it is excluding the candy rule. Ha. Ha. Stephanie is going to talk to Bessie, Trixie and the rest are gonna find the mayor, who is eating some ice-cream.
The kids barge to Robbie saying they want sports and sports candy back until he says there is a brand new rule - you can eat all the ice-cream you want. The idiots. Robbie tells them to go in the truck, they do so, and he locks them in. Meanwhile, a bee enters Milford's tent and Sportacus' crystal beeps. So he rides over to the other side of town to help Milford. He unlocks the tent, finding the real mayor. He tells him he thought he was back in LazyTown and Milford says he was stuck in the tent all day. Then Sportacus realizes someone is impersonating Milford.
The plan is to sneak in LazyTown - Milford must blend in. Apparently he has a great disguise. Meanwhile, Bessie is about to leave when Stephanie stops her and asks what's happening. After they finish talking, Bessie leaves. THANK GOD!! But Steph's not happy - she runs to the office. Meanwhile, Sportacus is crawling behind a wall, looking for Milford. He can't find him because he's 'blended in' so well.
He is wearing his butterfly catching costume - a pink and white bunny that seems to scare the butterflies away. But it works because nobody will recognize him. Anyways, the stress is getting to Robbie. When Stephanie comes up to him asking why he kicked Bessie out, he yells 'BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT!!'. Then Stephanie realizes that this isn't the real Milford as he wouldn't do any of this. He also wouldn't trap Stephanie in a cage, which is exactly what he does.
The crystal beeps and off he goes! He runs and jumps over a wall! He can see the shaking ice-cream stand, and the well hidden trapped Stephers. Sportacus takes out the crystal (it flings back to him like a boomerang) and he throws it at an apple. The apple falls into Stephanie's hands, and she bites it. ONCE. And she has the strength to lift up the entire cage herself. Ziggy is getting curious in the ice-cream stand.. and he touches a brake - off the car/ice-cream stand goes! Sportacus calls for a rope from his airship and swings like Tarzan ontop of the ice-cream stand. He attaches the hook to the stand and the other side to the cage Stephanie escaped from. The force of the stand stopping makes the stand shake and Sportacus fall off.
Who am I kidding? He flips mid-way through the fall and lands on his feet like a cat. He unlocks the stand and runs back to Stephanie, who thanks him and tells him that there's someone pretending to be Milford. Thanks, we heard. So they go to find him. Meanwhile, Bessie runs into the real Milford. She asks who he is and he takes off the nose, revealing himself. Once Robbie walks by, he tells her that's the faker, then Robbie turns around. They duck, and she says NOW she understands. Milford asks for a piece of Bessie's cake. He throws it at Robbie, who slips on it.
So he sits on the seesaw. Milford needs some extra weight, so he piggy backs Bessie, and he JUMPS on the seesaw sending Robbie flying. The end, ta-ta. Not really because there's three more minutes left. Sportacus hears his yells and looks at the sky. He grabs a laundry sheet, spreads it out with the help of Stephanie, and Robbie lands safely. Then they tip him onto the ground - his fake head comes off and the disguise is thus revealed. Sportacus throws the sheet onto him. Now the REAL Milford makes a rule - The only one allowed to imitate the mayor is the mayor. They sing Bing Bang celebrating his really dumb rule. In the lair, Robbie says it's not fun to be the mayor. As if his day wasn't bad enough, here comes the bee that tortured Milford. It chases him. Ta-ta, the end for real this time.
7/10 - Mediocre song, horrible disguise, awesome plot and rescues.

Trash Trouble (prod 209)
Original airdate: September 27, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Sigvaldi J. Karason
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stalling
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion
This episode better not be trash.
Sportacus is in his airship and he flips, lands on a button and turns to the screen. He tells the screen to look for Sportscandy and it zooms into an apple tree. The record for obtaining it is 59 seconds which Sportacus believes he can beat. So, he rides into town using the Sky Bike, and once he sees the apple tree, he throws a boomerang at it, and it slices the apple off the branch and it lands in his hands.
If this was realistic it'd have just landed in the grass. While going back to the ship, the boomerang flies back to him. Without even looking he catches it! Then he goes back in the ship - the record was 51 seconds! Anyways, back in the town after the intro.. Sportacus is literally lifting a bench. Stingy is carrying a bunch a trash in his car (including himself) when Milford comes to him. He tells Milford that he found some stuff that he doesn't want - and gives it to him. Trying to carry it, Milford falls down into Stingy's car wagon, sending Stingy flying into the air. Lucky Sportacus is there to catch him.
That doesn't get a 'thank you, Sportacus' from Stingy. He is only concerned about his car. So, Sportacus pushes the mayor out of the wagon, then he goes after Stingy's car. Then he checks on the mayor, takes the trash out his hand and throws it at Stingy's car - Well, I'd do that. I am NOT cut out to be a super hero. He throws it at a far-away garbage can and makes a perfect shot! The mayor compliments him on it, and he goes back to the airship. Stingy advises Milford 'not to do that again'.
Back at Pixel's house, the kids are watching an episode of a show they've already seen and Stephanie asks Pixel where the remote control is, but his room is such a mess he can't find it. Stephanie proposes the idea of cleaning up but everyone including Steph declines. Then Ziggy panics and tells everyone not to move - he lost his lollipop. Stephanie promises to get him a new one. Then Trixie wants to play outside, assuming it'll be cleaner there. So they all go. Ziggy is reluctant, but little does he know..
Robbie is in his lair, eating gooey sticky taffy, and THROWING THE WRAPPER on the floor - making a mountain of taffy wrappers. Anyways, it's still dirty outside (Steph found Ziggy's lollipop), so Pixel says that they can't play - and that cheers up Robbie. Imagine being such a jerk your happiness is at the cost of a kid's sadness. Anyways, he goes to look at the periscope, and questions how simple it can be. He says the answers to his problems is episode thirty - Greatest Hits.. hey, he said trash. No difference. Anyways, he has the usual disguise time except this time it's not funny - Too fifties, too sixties, too seventies, 'eh', then he finds the trashman costume.
Ta-taa! His plan is to fill a cannon with.. well.. trash, and launch it into LazyTown! HAHAHAHA! Anyways, he launches it to test if it works - but he forgot to open the hatch and it all comes crashing down. LOL. He's happy it works, completely ignoring the fact his lair is a mess.
Meanwhile, the kids aren't fond of Stingy's idea to not be a lazy slob in a dirty town, and they run away when he bends down to pick up gloves. 'All you need is some organization.' So, he runs back to Pixel's house. But all his efforts won't be needed, because Robbie's finally driven into town with the cannon. Meanwhile, the kids are playing a video game (you pick up a MUSHROOM with a LEEK..?) when Stingy walks in angrily. Trixie's excuse is that they don't know how to clean - which gets Stingy to start performing 'Clean up'. Since the town is pretty clean, the kids tell Milford to take a rest and Pixel takes him to his room to play video games. After the song ends, Steph looks for a place to put her rubbish.
Then Robbie comes up in his trash-man costume, saying he is the trashman and tells her to give the rubbish to him. No hesitation, she does it. Not as easy with Trixie who argues with him for ten seconds before giving up. She's not too sure about this. He sees some more trash and smiles. Then for some reason he notices some taffy in his mouth he didn't even know was there. So, he throws it onto the ground before going to pick up more rubbish. Meanwhile, Ziggy is.. licking a lollipop.
Stingy is NOT being a lazy kid, and he is working on his very own recycling system, then Robbie comes to mess it up. Eventually he convinces him with three questions - 'Do you stay up late at night studying trash?' 'Have you ever been to trash school?' 'Do you even have a Trash Man Badge?' As suspected, the answer to all these questions - is no. Then Robbie spits out more taffy. Slob. Stingy scrapes it up and flings it into a bin, telling Robbie to 'not do that agaen'. He says he'll be watching him. Robbie's so annoyed by this once he leaves, he throws his taffy wrapper on the ground and says 'I'll be watching YOU!!' Anyways, Ziggy finally finishes his lollipop.
He jumps off the bench, takes a bin, and steps on Robbie's taffy. He's stuck to the ground. (That would be hard to get off but it's possible!) Anyways, Pixel is still attempting to teach Milford to play the Leek game when the kids all come into the house, informing Milford and Pixel the town is tidy. But not for long - Robbie has finally got his cannon to work and he pulls the lever, making trash fireworks. Stingy comes in and makes an announcement - the town is tidy. Thanks, I heard. So, he pulls up the window to demonstrate and boy does he get a surprise.
Stingy thinks this is just a dream so he tells someone to pinch him - and Trixie does. Really hard. By now, Robbie's broken the lever. Stephanie realizes Ziggy's missing - so Stingy DIVES IN the trash to find him. That's no use because Sportacus' crystal beeps (Man, this sucks, he was only in three scenes of this episode..) and he flips into town. The kids watch on Pixel's computer as if it's a movie. Sportacus calls for a boomerang and throws it at the lever. The trashpour stops! Hooray! Trixie has the audacity to say 'We did it'.. little brat. Sportacus finds Ziggy and tries to pull him up but he can't because of that bing bang taffy. Stingy pops up from some trash and throws a scraper at Sportacus, and HE dives in.
For a while nobody can see him, but he pops up with Ziggy! I don't know how he scraped off the taffy - he couldn't possibly see under all the trash. Ziggy preaches - 'I'm free!' Robbie jumps from a wall to another wall and climbs on top. He says that this was a bad idea and he wobbles and falls into a trash can. (I love how Stefan screams when he's trying to talk. 'Maybe this trash wasn't such a good idea after aAAAAAUGGGH') Sportacus hears the lid drop, and goes to rescue him. He pulls him out but his hat/wig and moustache have fallen off. Then he goes back into the bin after everyone realizes it's him. I'd do the same. Stingy says that they have a little job to do, and in the span of a fourty second long 'Bing Bang' they've CLEARED THE TOWN.
Maybe it wouldn't be as dumb if they sang the extended version of Bing Bang, but, kids show. Robbie is sulking in the lair, and he throws yet another piece of taffy on the floor. He steps on the piece he JUST THREW. Did he forget about it 1 second after? Then he falls onto the ground in the Taffy Mountain (TM, TM).
He greets the trash. LOL!! So simple and so funny.
7/10 - Needed more Sportacus scenes, the slice in the middle of Clean Up was unneeded, and frankly, Trixie and Ziggy annoyed me in this one.

Little Sportacus (prod 206)
Original airdate: September 26, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello, David Kristjan Olafsson
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion, Emily Decola
Little Sportacus - another Sportacus themed episode! Sweeett!
The episode begins with Sportacus getting a letter from ten year old Tommy - 'What stuff did you do when you were ten?' He says his favourite game was dodgeball! (When I was ten, I loved dodgeball too!!)
Then at the end of the game (he cartwheels and flips and rolls to dodge the ball, awesome!) he catches the ball in his hand. Meanwhile, Robbie is in his lair, shaking with a bowl of popcorn in his hand, yelling 'It wasn't me!!' Possibly, having a nightmare about getting framed? Then he wakes up, and says that was a great nap. He grabs some chocolate.
But he is distracted by the sound of a rubber ball.. bouncing. Stephanie is walking with a basketball and she stops to tell her uncle what a wonderful day it is. Milford says it's a great day to do some yard work.
This is the exact type of scene to have 'Upphaf' from Latabæ as background music, and it does.. until Ziggy rides his bicycle without his training wheels. Stephanie tells him to use his brakes, and whaddya know? He hasn't learned how to do that yet. So, he's in trouble. And we all know who to call when Ziggy is in trouble. Sportacus - whose crystal beeps. Ziggy is headed straight for the ice-cream stand, and he doesn't worry. He does the exact opposite until he gets a bit closer. Sportacus throws an anchor's hook up to the airship.
Then he attaches the other side of the anchor to a hook of the ice-cream stand. Then with no effort (come on, he's Magnus Scheving) he LIFTS UP THE ICE-CREAM STAND. But that's not it - Ziggy's still riding, so Sportacus goes down the rope. Ziggy is about to crash into Milford's bush when Sportacus stops the bike.. with his yoyo.
Then Sporty aerobics over to him and checks if he's all good. Robbie decides to use his periscope, but a running Stephanie startles him and he hides. Milford asks why Ziggy was going so fast. He was trying to ride his bicycle, but he says he is just too little. Sportacus says that you learn more when you're little. After he leaves, Robbie wishes Sportacus could be a teeny tiny child so he didn't know anything. But that's impossible. Or is it? So, he goes to build his newest invention, and it can change your age.
He tests it on a bird and brings him back to an EGG. That's like bringing Sportacus back to an fetus - that won't work. So he adjusts it a bit and now it works perfectly. Meanwhile, Sportacus is doing some skipping from here and there. Robbie's disguise is.. a bush. Behind him. Wow. Sportacus hears the leaves rustling and stops for a few seconds, then continues. Anyways, once Sporty is distracted, Robbie tries to zap Sportacus.. but he keeps moving side to side. Then he finally stays in one place, and bam! He is ten years old again.
Fun fact - Little Sportacus is voiced by a girl. Anyways, he runs over to Ziggy and asks for his help. But he doesn't believe him until Ziggy says he has a super-secret nickname only Sportacus knows. Then Sportacus whispers it to him - 'Mr. Fluffy Bunny Pants'. I don't know why that was kept a secret - if I got a rabbit I'd name it that! Also shocked Ziggy is even funnier then confused Sportacus.
Ziggy thinks the rest of the kids would freak out if they saw Sportacus like this, so Ziggy goes to Pixel's house and asks for some drip to borrow. It is delivered in an orange package. So, anyways, Sportacus puts it on, and Ziggy tells him to just act like himself. Then he does a 360 spin and that super cool hero pose with his arms. Ziggy then corrects himself - act like a kid. Then he occupies him with a ball so he is bound to do the exact opposite of what Ziggy JUST said.
I love this season, but it seems that Ziggy doesn't think enough sometimes. He learns the lessons, moves on and does something ridiculous. Well, this is only one dumb Ziggy moment I can name. He's cool the rest of the season. Anyways, he goes to start figuring out what happened to Sportacus. Meanwhile, Stephanie spots Sportacus just standing on the court. She asks who he is and he does the 360 epic superhero spin xd1!!!!111oneone. He says Spob as he already started to say his real name (but forgor he wasn't supposed to). The two shake hands, and Stephanie wants to play a game. Spob says he is out of practice.
Stephanie passes the ball to him which nearly makes him fall (come on, Sportacus!!) then he passes it back. Stephanie starts dribbling the ball, and then they perform Time to Play. As the song ends, Stephanie is suspicious of how good Spob plays. She rips out a page of her diary and it flies away. Sportacus is on the move - he does the signature move, cartwheels and jumps to catch it in mid-air.
As Stephanie figures out it's Sportacus, Ziggy comes riding on the court. He accidentally says 'Hi, Sportacus!' and he corrects himself by saying gibberish (genuinely funny!!). Anyways, after they clear up that Steph knows Spob is Sportacus, she asks how it happened. Sportacus said if only someone was around when it happened. Ziggy says there is a way to find out so they go to Pixel's house. Stephanie tells them it's Sportacus but they don't believe her. He power jumps to prove it is him.
So then Ziggy asks Pixel to check the cameras earlier today. They see the bush behind them move before Sportacus is zapped. They say they have to find out where that bush is from. Using Pixel's drone camera. The drone is controlled with a remote control, and the kids see a leave trail. So, they follow it and it leads to Robbie's lair. Stephanie follows it and she mistakes it for a dead end, until she leans on the door and falls down.
She gets up, climbs the ladder and opens up the chute to Robbie's lair. Meanwhile, Robbie himself is deciding to celebrate the success of his plan with a nap. But the kids have showed up. Pixel's drone is hovered down into the lair. Another trail of leaves leads to.. Robbie. Napping. Ziggy wants to control the drone so he snatches it from Pixel and gets it stuck in between two of Robbie's microwaves. Sportacus calls for a rope from his airship and decides to go down. He ties it to his waist and Stephanie holds it. He dives down!
Sportacus unties himself. Meanwhile, the drone starts shaking along with the table. On the table is that little baby egg. It almost rolls off but Sportacus dives to catch it. Even when he is facing a serious problem he still saves someone, no matter how small their trouble is. The dive wakes up Robbie, and he starts chasing him around the table. Then Sportacus kicks the drone.
The kick is reminiscent of Bruce Lee's flying kick in 'The Big Boss'. No surprise as Sportacus re-enacts Lee's nunchuck routine from Enter the Dragon in 'Double Trouble' and 'Great Greens'. Maggi admits he watched Lee as a child. Anyways, the drone starts flying towards Robbie's face and he falls to the ground. He continues to chase him after he gets up. Using his wits (and the throwing of a baby egg to distract him), Sportacus flips onto the platform. Robbie asks how he did that, and he said he practiced. The kids cheer. Robbie runs up the staircase and Sportacus walks on the rails. Robbie dives to catch him, Sportacus flips, and Robbie falls. Epic and also kinda funny.
Sportacus sees his clothes in one of the pods (iiittt's the LazyPod Podcast!! XD. Go listen to it though, Mark Valenti hosts it and it's epic) and he figures there must be a way to get it. Oh yeah, Robbie stole them while they were performing 'Time to Play'. He pulls the lever and is back in costume. Sportacus flips off to the machine but Robbie blocks him. Then after he cartwheels back Robbie says it'll destruct in ten seconds. Sportacus says that's all he needs. Then he throws the egg, slides under Robbie's legs, and presses the button. Fricking liar. He needed TWELVE seconds! But time is Lazy in LazyTown, so technically he needed eight seconds. Missing the point - he is back to normal again. Sportacus notices it's going to blow. Robbie comes flying out the lair!
And he lands on Milford's bush. Everyone notices it's Robbie Rotten. Anyways, probably because of the power of one apple bite, Sportacus is a-okay. He gives Pixel the drone. Ziggy tells Sportacus he learnt an important lesson today - you're never too little to learn and if a bush comes at you with a fishing rod and an umbrella, run. (I checked behind myself to see if there was a bush with a fishing rod and umbrella. No joke. Why am I like this?) They all laugh and sing Bing Bang. Robbie is still chillin when the egg hatches.
The bird says 'Mama!' and Robbie says 'ME???' then he pats the bird (in the extended version of the episode). Then a cartoony circle closes in on the bird and fades into the credits.
10/10 - I liked that episode a lot!! Season two has started amazingly. Two episodes in a row with a full rating.

I finished LazyTown's first season today and it was a wild expierence.
With thirty-five episodes that structure around the plot, they all have a different formula. Some are captivating and some aren't like those dreaded clip shows, which didn't add any value to the season, except 'Dear Diary'. The story of this season is non-existent. There are no arcs which makes for a much better watching experience.
The characters are the brains and minds of LazyTown and they are all relatable, essentially, everyone is a part of us. This makes for a relatable season, so that whenever a character learns a lesson, WE learn that lesson. Every show does need a good role model, and Stephanie & Sportacus are the two role models of this season. They are perfect, and every boy and girl should strive to be like them! Every one has their own issues, and that's good! A character should never be perfect.
The production of the season is up and down. With re-used shots all over the place, mediocre green screens in the first few episodes, it makes them a bit dreadful to watch, but the season's editing gets better and better over time. As with the CGI shots of the airship and town, those are actually very good, but more detail is needed sometimes.
The music of the season is very mixed with different genres - pop, blues, and so much more. The music is so energetic and captivating that you have to listen to every song hundreds of times, and that's why it takes so long to watch these episodes. If Mani wasn't hired to make the music for this show it'd be horrible!
The humour of the season is definetly some of the funniest, with some of the episodes getting a 10/10 because of this. Most of the jokes are just super simple and nothing too complex so the audience can understand it, and it works out for everyone! Everyone laughs, giggles, smiles, chuckles. The show delivers you the message straight-forwardly with no filler and with tons of comedy.
Now, while this season's characters and editing had their flaws, it still makes for a very enjoyable season. Time well spent.
In order to celebrate the fact I finished this season, visit https://tinyurl.com/wrapmegamix for the megamix composer Mani Svavarsson made to celebrate the fact the season's filming finished.

The Great Crystal Caper (prod 105)
Original airdate: August 18, 2004
Story by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson
Written by Noah Zachary, Micheal Rabb, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Magnus Scheving, Steve Feldman
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Ronald Binion, Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Amanda Maddock
Crystal Caper is the fourth episode of LazyTown. Sportacus' crystal gets swiped and everyone in LazyTown is looking for it. With plot twists, you'll never believe who took it, and you'll never believe who "found" it!
The episode begins with Sportacus flipping his water bottle around then chugging it all up in two seconds. What a promising start. Anyways, after drinking it, Sportacus' crystal beeps. That dang cat is up on the tree again. Sportacus saves him like usual, but what's the best part is that he does a frontflip up in the air and grabs the tree branch, holds the cat with one hand then jumps off. Couldn't he just have used a ladder..?
Ziggy has seen the whole thing and is talking to it about his friends while trying to imitate Sportacus. Sportacus is right behind him, though. This also happened with Piper in the Power Play Summer promo, so it's not very funny anymore. Anyways, everyone wonders how he did it, and he shows them the crystal.
Everyone's amazed by it, especially Stingy.. a bit too amazed. He asks Sportacus to keep it, but he says the following "You want it, but I need it." Stingy is for no reason at all offended then he starts going on and on about how he's going to look at HIS stuff and drive HIS car. All in all a very funny performance from Jodi Eichelberger (voice and puppeteer of Stingy). Stephanie tells Stingy not to be mad, but Trixie calls him a big baby. Stingy drives on a road that had a hole on the middle of it and Sportacus has to save him.. by covering up the hole with his body himself, resulting in Stingy driving over Sportacus. Many like to re-edit this scene to their liking, but I think it's funny just the way it is.
Sportacus' crystal falls off, and he doesn't notice, but Stingy does. He decides to tell Sportacus about it, but he instead ends up thanking him. "Oh, Sportacus needs this to save the lives of the citizens of our town? Meh, imma steal it!" Stingy considers keeping it for a few seconds, minutes, then hours.
In the lair, Robbie recieves a letter from a library saying he needs to pay $600.03 for an overdue book. He doesn't even read the whole thing and throws it away. I think we've all wanted to do that at one point. Oh, the life of being a villain.
In the airship, Sportacus jumps and flips into the airpod (for the record, the editors reused clips in which he OBVIOUSLY HAS THE CRYSTAL ON) and then realises the crystal is gone.
He goes to the town hall where Bessie and Milford are and asks Milford to see if anything about him his different. His guesses are - "You've grown a mustache", "Your muscles are bigger", and "Your crystal is missing". Sometimes I wonder how a man as dumb as Milford got to be the mayor of a town. But, in all honestly, it doesn't take a genius to manage a town with only eight citizens.. well, nine, if you count the cat.
Milford announces a reward for anyone who finds the crystal, being one wish. Then proceeds a montage. Bessie rings up the phone of every single person in town (including people who live out of town, and Robbie), and Pixel makes some posters. We now know that everyone in LazyTown has a phone. Everyone looks for the crystal, including Sportacus.. and for some reason, a new shot looking over for the (tiny) crystal on his ladder that wasn't seen in any other episodes has him WITH THE CRYSTAL.
Robbie isn't looking for the crystal and is enjoying every second that the crystal is lost. He finds a poster over the telescope and has the idea that if he wins the reward, he will get a wish, and he will use it to make Sportacus leave town FOREVER! (ever, ever, ever, ever..) Anyways, we're now with Stingy and he is in his car. He worries that they will notice he has the crystal, then he becomes too confident and decides to have it for a whole month. That whole month could bring LazyTown to shambles. Robbie is in his lair and has a lot of shiny things, which he uses to make a fake crystal that doesn't do anything. Stingy is now using the crystal as a hood ornament. Let's just hope he doesn't get into a car crash. While the gang are looking for it, he comes to town to show everyone the "crystal" he "found". Honestly, a pretty good plan.
Stephanie's suspicious of the whole thing, but then she realises that if Robbie Rotten can change then anything can happen. Then they do a whole song-and-dance routine about it, with multiple shots that would become iconic and recognized with the online fandom. Once it ends, Robbie just wants his wish, but Stephanie is getting ahead of herself, wanting to host a party (which they do, but she's going crazy on details) See, if any of the kids did it, nobody would care. Once a good person does something good, nobody cares. Once a bad person does something good, they're suddenly the most amazing person in history. Anyways, Sportacus says they have to tell Milford. He puts the stage up (last seen in Defeeted) but Robbie is annoyed. He just wanted the prize.
However, during his monologue, he falls into the hole that almost killed Stingy. How did that get there? Did he dig it? Nobody has fixed that since 3 episodes? Anyways, while climbing back up, he looks up only to see Stingy driving his car on the road. He then notices the real crystal on Stingy's hood. Ka-ching! They make a deal - Stingy gives Robbie the crystal, and Robbie in exchange gives him something expensive. They organize a meeting at the treehouse.
Robbie is still in the hole, and he starts talking about his smartness and how he scares himself. However, he screams because the cat at the beginning of the episode was crawling on his legs. LOL!
Sportacus is sitting on a bench and Stephanie comes up to him. Sportacus looks a bit concerned, he reveals to Stephanie that he has a feeling. Sportacus says it's nothing.
Stingy is glorifying the crystal in his treehouse alone. Robbie comes up to him with a stack of comic books, coins all over the world "including Iceland!", and a coffee cup with the map of Texas on it.
While it's tempting (I'd have accepted at the word 'comic'), Stingy says he can't do it. Robbie tells Stingy he'll snitch about the crystal, but he declines. Robbie says he's in deep trouble. (foreshadowing much..??) Money, comics and a cup! It woulda taken me all my strength to decline. Robbie throws the ladder away after he leaves the treehouse.
The real crystal beeps, and Stingy realizes that he is in trouble. He yells for help as loud as he can. At the award ceremony, Robbie is trying to grant his wish for Sportacus to leave town, but Stephanie hears the yells of Stingy and Sportacus' crystal doesn't beep, he then realises the one Robbie gave him was fake! It wouldn't have taken a genius, it didn't have the same glow as the real one. He confronts Robbie and goes to save Stingy.
Stingy is waving his underpants on a stick around hoping someone will notice, and then Sportacus comes to the rescue! Sportacus puts the ladder back and carries Stingy out. The footage of Stingy thanking Sportacus has actually been taken from Welcome to LazyTown after Sportacus saves him from flying off the seesaw. However, this episode was filmed before that one, meaning that Welcome to LazyTown is the episode that re-used footage. Now we know that the seesaw is right next to the treehouse... pretty bad placing if you ask me.
Sportacus takes Stingy to the ceremony to give the crystal back and he also tells Stingy that what you're doing affect others as well. Stingy says that his wish is to never take anything that doesn't belong to him.. and to own that stack of comic books Robbie bribed him with. Nah, just kidding. But if I was Stingy I would say that. Anyways, they celebrate by performing Bing Bang (the footage in this episode's Bing Bang was reused multiple times throughout Season 1), and Trixie kisses Stingy (on the neck) I never liked that bit. Not because I'm an immature boy who thinks romance is icky and stuff, but because it doesn't really fit in a show like LazyTown, and with eight year old characters.
In Robbie's lair, he is sent flying in his chair, along with the comics, coins and mug. He takes a sip of the mug and gags. In the uncut version (which has not been found), he says that it 'Tastes like oil'! It was cut out by Bush Administration because it was accused of propaganda against the US (the elections were going on at the time of filming).
I really liked this episode a lot! It offers the spotlight on a character other then Stephanie or Sportacus, and it does it pretty well. Funny dialogue, good song, but using reused shots that had the crystal in it in an episode that was centered about Sportacus losing the crystal is just a mind numbing move. It's ridiculous.
If you have the time, watch it. It's pretty good.

Sports Day (prod 102)
Original airdate: August 17, 2004
Story by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson
Written by Rocky Garibaldi, Scott Gray, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Rufus Scott Church
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Ronald Binion, Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, Heather Asch, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess
Sports Day was the first LazyTown episode the crew worked on after the Lazy Dance. Not directed by Magnus Scheving, but instead Rufus Scott Church, this episode is very different from others with CGI and green screen flaws. Does the plot in fact make up for that?
The episode begins with Sportacus brushing his teeth, then noticing the date on the calendar (of course, in classic Sportacus fashion, while he's upside down) and realizing that it's LazyTown Sports Day, then he rides his airship into town to see what's going on. This cold open uses a terrible green screen of Sportacus doing the t-pose flip in the opening credits instead of just recording a new one.
Milford is trying to fix the town up to get the kids excited for Sports Day while Bessie is chit chatting on the phone. Nothing new, but it is so extravagating how Bessie does no work at all.. and why in the world does she have TWO PHONES?
Anyways, the LazyTown kids are hanging together outside and Stephanie is reading a book about the history of the town. She reaches a page about Sports Day and everyone says they won't do it this year because they're bad. Seems like everyone has forgot the lessons from the past episodes.. AGAIN. God, I hate when this happens.
Luckily for Stephanie, Sportacus has just arrived in the town and has a surprise for everyone - Ziggy guesses it's chocolate twice, but Sportacus is actually trying to say it's Sports Day. I don't know why it's so funny, but everyone just says "awwww" except Stephanie.
Anyways, nobody comes except Sportacus and Stephanie until Sportacus says that Milford is (well, trying to) fix the town up. Suddenly everyone has a change in character when Pixel says the field is ready for a race. 20 seconds ago you guys were dreading this idea!
Robbie is in his lair, deciding what to wear, declining every single outfit for the one he wears IN EVERY SINGLE EPISODE OF THE SHOW. God, I love the scripts of this show. Cherry on top? He gets a miniature version that couldn't even fit a doll, BUT IT WORKS.
Anyways, Robbie decides to peep through the hole and look at what the LazyTowners are doing. He sees Bessie.. relaxing and gasps and gags. Very confusing knowing that Robbie is all for being lazy, but then the camera pans and we realize that he is gasping at the gang playing with a ball on the field. So.. weird. Not funny (well, his face kinda is..)
Robbie has his 400th Lazy Idea of the week, which is to buy the field, which in real life would not work unless you had a mayor as bumbling as MAYOR MILFORD MEANSWELL, who unknowingly accepts to the deal, until Sportacus steps in and says that he has to beat him and the gang at sports day. Robbie says that if he does win, that he will make the sports field a pillow stuffing factory, and Sportacus has to leave town. Sportacus handshakes him. See, that's why I liked him. He was the only one who had guts to speak up. Robbie accepts the deal, and they start training.
Ziggy is put in the job of Sports Candy Supervisor, and his task is to get sportscandy for the gang to power up. Ziggy is the last person I would ever put in this role, so either Sportacus has lots of faith in his friends - or sometimes he is just plain stupid.
Anyways, the kids start exercising, running around. Pixel is doing pushups, Trixie is doing handstands, Stephanie is trying to stretch (and failing, which is totally out of character), and Ziggy is using giant lollipops at barbells. At least he's doing something. Stingy is doing sit ups, and he can't do them for his LIFE, unless you shake money or his piggy bank around his face. Robbie is being lazy in his lair, and of course, making gadgets for the race. For the man that made the deal, he really is not taking it seriously. Stingy is being the jerk he is and refusing to give anyone the baton in practice, and they (the puppets) all chase him as fast as they can, which might have been the only workout they did.
So anyways, Pixel is spouting data about how bad they were (shut up, french fry hair boy) and Ziggy brings out sportscandy (gummy people that Ziggy makes run, jump and spin into the mouth), but Sportacus says they need REAL energy. So instead of climbing up to get an apple from a tree, instead he decides to cartwheel and flip to the tree, then whacks it to make it fall down. Effective, but.. well.. it's cool, too. I ain't complainin.
Sportacus gives Stephanie an apple, then he does a spinning flip in the air. Why? He has more apples in his backpack. (It could have taken much more shorter to just.. hand everyone the apples..) Then they perform "Energy" while Robbie is watching. He scolds Sportacus for thinking he can win by eating fruits, then he yells one of the 2: "THAT'S DISGUSTING!!" or "IT'S DISGUISE TIME!". If anyone can buy the script from Mark Valenti on eBay (no, seriously, he's selling about 30 scripts from Season 1) and tell me what it says, deeply appreciated.
Pixel asks Sportacus if he's ever eaten sugar before, and Sportacus tells him the whole story - he ate too much sugar, all his energy drained and he fell to the floor. That's why he doesn't eat it anymore. TLDR - Sugar gives Sportacus diabetes. I know this show is crazy on the health aspect, but that's actually ridiculous even for Sportacus.
However, Robbie is in his classic mailbox costume, spying on them when Ziggy is told to get more apples. Ziggy tries to climb the apple tree, but he can't reach it. His solution? A sugar apple that Robbie whipped up with Rotten Candy Faker Maker 4000. Robbie puts it on a fishrod and hits Ziggy on the head with it. Ziggy believes it is magic and he HAS to take the apple. Personally, I WOULDN'T take a floating apple.. but, Nickelodeon, man.
Anyways, Sports Day starts with a race between Robbie and Sportacus (Robbie starts two seconds earlier.. and loses in the end anyways). Mid-way, Ziggy gives Sportacus the apple, and he takes a bite and flops his way to a bench. Oh, no, he's dead.
Stephanie gives Ziggy the baton and Robbie is now on the biking section of the race. Trixie is doing the scooter section, and everyone is kinda mad at Ziggy until Pixel finds out the apple came from Robbie's gadget. If you ask me, I don't think they should've been mad to begin with. Ziggy's too nice to give Sportacus a sugar apple.
They give Sportacus a bite of the real apple, he wakes up ready for the baton and biking and rides over Robbie who has been taking a power nap. Stephanie gives him the skateboard, he jumps onto it and basically flies with it. Awesome! He wins the race. Robbie doesn't see it and puts HIS ride onto power mode and crashes into an apple tree. Sportacus gets to stay in LazyTown, and they all sing the Bing Bang song. The end.
There are so many things wrong with this episode it's aggravating. Horrible green screens, montage music that sounds like it wasn't composed by Mani out of character dialogue, a mediocre song and once again, an absent Robbie ending. WHY?!
Good plot, but a very weak episode.

Defeeted (prod 103)
Original airdate: August 16, 2004
Story by Scott Gray
Written by Noah Zachary, Mani Svavarrson, Magnus Scheving, Scott Gray
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Ronald Binion, Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, Heather Asch, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess
This is the second episode of LazyTown that aired on the same day as the first one. All in all a very early and flawed episode.
The episode begins with some amazing aerobics from Sportacus while he.. tries to brush his teeth. My lord, he is so extra. And it is so cool! How everyone can see those jumps and flips that Magnus, Joe and Dyri did and not like them is beyond me.
Anyways, it's a new day in LazyTown and everyone has seem to forgotten everything Sportacus had tought them in the last episode. They take him for granted and don't care. Anyways, Stephanie is in her room writing in her diary, bored. Milford asks what is wrong and Stephanie tells him that nobody is playing outside. Milford knows what just to do (rely on Sportacus). He gives Sportacus a letter saying 'I need your help'. Sportacus rides the airship to LazyTown, but not before doing a flip into his chair.. and landing the wrong way. LazyTown is the pinnacle of comedy.
Milford talks to Sportacus, telling him something terrible has happened. Sportacus tries guessing four times what has happened, and all his guesses are lethal natural disasters. LOL! This is funny. Anyways, Milford tells him about the whole thing with not wanting to play outside and he asks Sportacus to get the kids excited with a sport like he did last year at the Sportacular Spectacle Day. Now, excuse ME, but didn't Sportacus arrive in LazyTown, like, one episode ago? The continuity of this show's first season kills me sometimes, like when a clip from Soccer Sucker (episode 24) is played in Dear Diary (episode 16).
Anyways, Robbie is as usual, angry about Sportacus, so he looks into his periscope and finds the sign Milford has put up. Robbie reminisces about how Sportacular Spectacle Day was a day full of pie eating contests and diving into chocolate syrup. He then admires his newest invention - "THE FEET CRAZER MAKER 6000!!" Then he plays with the remote control, calls it beautiful until it kicks him in the face and he falls onto the ground. I. Love. This. Show.
He then gets up from the floor and wears his newest disguise - Rob U Blind, a salesman with ridiculous ways. Now we are in Pixel's house with Ziggy and Stephanie. Ziggy is hyping the event up. He is ridiculously excited. Steph is curious. And french fry hair boy is playing a video game and insulting Ziggy in between rounds.
Sportacus is on the soccer field practicing his amazing move (kicking a soccer ball while doing a backflip). Robbie is walking to him and almost gets hit in the face by the ball. Anyways, he walks up to him and plays the funniest sequence of this episode.
Robbie asks Sportacus if he has ever thought "Boy, my shoes are sure full of slimy smelly goo!"? Sportacus of course says no. THEN Robbie pours slimy smelly goo all over his shoes. Robbie then (pretends to) cleans the shoes with the Shoe Cleaner 6000, and once he is finished, he swipes the shoes and gives Sportacus the Feet Crazer Maker. What's funny is that Sportacus is not having any of it (and Robbie is also pretty hilarious).
So, anyways, after that, it is time for Sportacus to perform his epik move!1!111!1!1!!, but Robbie has the remote control and plays with Sportacus, making his "feet go cuckoo!" -Sportacus. Everyone is worried and confused, except Robbie who is enjoying every single moment of it. It's so unintenionally funny. Sportacus just looks insane. I also love Milford's "reaction" to getting kicked in the head. Could be the cause for his stupidness in the later seasons?
Now Sportacus is on a bench trying to get his feet to go back to normal while Milford and Bessie are just sitting there and questioning if that was supposed to happen. It's so funny. One of the possibly craziest events in LazyTown just happened and they're so quiet about it, especially the man who got KICKED IN THE HEAD. Anyways, back to Stephanie and the gang, who are using multiple methods to try and get him back to normal while performing "Always a Way", a.k.a ONE OF THE BEST LAZYTOWN SONGS IN EXISTENCE. THIS SONG IS A TREASURE AND I WILL GO BRUCE LEE MODE ON ANYONE WHO DISAGREES. It's inspirational and a head banger (well at least the radio edit).
Now Robbie shows up on stage in his LazyCus costume and performs an amazing move (attempting the splits and falling down and failing terribly)! Milford and Bessie aren't really all that impressed, but LazyCus convinces them by saying that they don't have a superhero anymore.
Cue Sportacus coming on in stage with the gang, doing a handstand. He then fails and flails his feet around. Fortunately, french fry hair boy is behind Robbie while he drops his gadget off the stage and turns it off, and the shoes go flying off.. and Robbie runs off stage in such a cartoony way it is hilarious..
Sportacus stands up normally, but he doesn't know where his shoes are. Robbie runs back on stage to give him the Feet Crazer Makers, but french fry hair boy stops him and tells him to put them on. Robbie declines but Pixel comes back with the classic 'unless-you're-afraid' argument. Ooh, snap! He ends up putting them on, acting like everything is fine, but then Pixel turns the gadget on.
Then his feet go cuckoo and everybody laughs at his pain as he falls down and gets his foot stuck in a bin.. I would too. Anyways, somehow Stephanie gains hold of the real shoes and cleans them up. He puts them on and Bessie throws him a ball to do his epik !!111!!!!111 trick. He performs it, the ball almost hits Robbie again, everyone is impressed, they sing the Bing Bang song (both verses), the end.
I must say, for the third episode of the TV show that LTE filmed, this is an amazing episode. Of course, the puppeteers screwed up visibly like four times in total, but it was an amazing episode with an amazing song. But there was no Robbie sequence at the end, possibly because the two verses of Bing Bang were sung instead of one verse.
THE END

Haunted Castle (prod 205)
Original airdate: October 24, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Mani Svavarrson, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess
I never liked this episode as I hate Halloween and this was Halloween themed. My country and religion's hatred for Halloween aside, how is 'Haunted Castle'?
Sportacus is riding his airship when he suddenly pulls the lever to stop. He flips out of the skutla, does a backwards cartwheel and a backflip, landing on the button that pushes out the table. He flips over and gets an apple. He suddenly hears a noise and wonders what it is. After checking his sports cupboard and bed, he gets out the airship to find out what it is. It turns out to be an owl. What does he do? The normal thing to do.
He talks to the owl and acts like it's a human. He asks his name and it just hoots. He compliments him, calling it a 'cool' name and says he's Sportacus. Twas a lovely day in LazyTown - Milford is painting a fence and Bessie is hanging up laundry. Trixie.. scares Milford and he ruins the fence.
Robbie is doing the most ridiculous thing he can. He hates the noiseyness of the kids, right? So how does he resolve the fact his sleeps are getting distracted by loud kids? He sleeps outside with even louder kids. On an uncomfy bench. In a park. It's no surprise when he gets woken up by Ziggy being pushed in a wagon by Stephanie. He turns his brain on and leaves.
Trixie goes to scare Stephanie and Ziggy, much to the annoyance of Steph. Trixie wants to go on the wagon and wants to be pushed towards Bessie's laundry. Stephanie is reluctant until she puts on her helmet. She gets a big push from Stephanie, and she goes too fast and she's about to crash into Bessie's sheets. Stephanie says she's about to crash into Bessie's sheets. She crashes into Bessie's sheets. Bessie falls down, ruins her hair and yells for Milford who is reading the news of his OWN TOWN.
The top headline is literally 'The mayor is planning to paint the house blue'. He's reading news about himself. XD. Trixie says they were just having fun, Bessie is saying they ruined the sheets, and Stephanie is attempting to straighten them out. XD. So Milford tells them to push the wagon AWAY from the sheets and to not possibly piss off Bessie.. anyways, Ziggy gets in, it's his turn, Milford pushes him a bit too hard .. and beepity-bip. He's in trouble! The wagon goes up the slide Stingy's trying to go down, then it goes back down and CRASHES INTO BESSIE'S LAUNDRY!! Almost. Sportacus grabs hold of the wagon.. and his flying ice-cream.
You can tell from his face in the screenshot he wants to gobble that ice-cream up. He gives it back to Ziggy after Bessie finishes being a complaining.. moron. Stingy comes to add possibly nothing to the conversation and asks what was going on as if any sane person would miss THAT. But Stingy's never established as sane in any of the episodes. Neither are any of the other characters. Anyways, he starts describing what happened while waving around his hand holding the ice-cream cone. Ya see where this is goin? The cream FLIES off the cone and lands.. on Bessie's sheets.
She is like, SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER ANGRY. She tells the kids they MUST follow the rules which they nod their heads in agreement too. But they have nowhere else to go. So Stephanie says they should BUILD THEIR OWN PLAYGROUND, as the land in LazyPark isn't being used yet. So they all go to the park. The kids all yell 'LazyPark, here we come!' Waking Robbie up, in shock as that is his favourite place of the town. Yeah, sure, screw your home that has all your clothes, food, and chairs and blankets and gadgets.
So he goes over to his periscope and looks outside. He yells that Lazy Park has always been lazy and should stay lazy. He also adds LAZYLAZYLAZYLAZYLAZY AAAAAARRRGGGH!!! Anyways, the kids are building the playground when Milford comes over to tell them about the famous Leaning Castle of LazyTown. If it's so famous why did it take 40 episodes to get an episode about it?
He advises the kids not to go in the tower - and Trixie, the lair, says that they won't. He also adds a new rule - they cannot go over the wall that leads to the castle. And another new rule - Ziggy's the smolest so never leave him alone. They all follow the rules and Robbie turns his periscope around of anger and talks to himself. The periscope is turned to Bessie who has a sheet on top of her head. He looks at what's happening, and unfazed, he says 'A ghost'.
Then he realizes, yells out 'A GHOST' and LAUNCHES HIMSELF OVER THE RAILING ON PURPOSE. MANI SVAVARRSON PROBABLY WROTE THAT PART AND HE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN EVERY EPISODE OF THAT SHOW BECAUSE HE IS HILARIOUS. He climbs back up, talking to the 4 year old audi- I mean, himself, telling himself he wasn't scared. He reluctantly looks in the periscope only to Bessie getting the sheet off her head, then tells himself only kids believe in ghosts. ANND HEEERREE COOMEESSS A BREEELEEEYAAANNT IDDEEAAA.
Scare the kids away by pretending to be a ghost. Tata. Meanwhile, at the playground, the kids name some supplies they bought and Pixel keeps on repeating them, but adds a 'Check' to the end. Really annoying - check. It goes on for only two items because Ziggy said he brought a lollipop. Stephanie says you don't need a lollipop to build a playground - you need legal permission and an adult guardian (but she doesn't say those..). Ziggy says it doesn't hurt to be careful. He has a point (a funny one). They then sing 'Playing on the Playground'
At the end of the song, it's gotten dark. Ziggy says they should home, remembering what Milford said.. joking, he doesn't care about what Milford said. He just scared of the ghost - which Trixie points out, and he starts yelling and asking 'What ghost??' Everyone laughs except Stephanie, who tells Ziggy it was a joke. I see why she's the favourite of many. SPORTACUS 4 DA WIN THO. Anyways, Trixie says she's gonna go in the castle to see if there are really ghosts which everyone thinks is a bad idea.
Stingy and Pixel go to the castle with her. This is what Healthy Harold meant by peer pressure. Ziggy and Stephanie stay behind, and Stephanie says if they aren't back in five minutes they're going to the castle. So Robbie is left alone with the sheets - the perfect time to execute his plan. Meanwhile, Pixel, Trixie and Stingy have arrived at the castle, and Pixel admits it's a bit scary. So, after a few seconds, Stingy squeals and Pixel asks if he saw a ghost. And YOU WILL ACTUALLY PAUSE THE EPISODE AND POP UP IN YOUR CHAIR OF ANNOYANCE OF WHAT HE FOUND. Well, that's what I did.
It was a coin. A single. Coin. Gosh. Anyways, Robbie has finished painting ghost eyes on the sheet (but aren't ghosts invisible..?) and the kids have been away for long. Stephanie asks Ziggy if she can go check what's going on, and he says he can stay put for a minute.. well, half a minute. Then Stephanie comforts him by telling him she'll be quick - but screw that, he doesn't care. He only wants the lollipop (he licks it to calm down). Robbie has finished cutting up the sheets and his entire body is covered with ghost/sheet. Stephanie's arrived at the castle and calls for the kids by just yelling 'Guys?'. She goes in the castle, and Trixie pops up, yelling boo. Stephanie jumps back, locking them in.
So when Stephanie tries to open the door, they realize they're locked, no-one can hear them banging the door, and Stingy's teeth start trembling. LOL!! Trixie says they should go to the top of the tower and yell for help, and Stingy says he's not doing that, but Trixie asks him if he wants to be alone. (It'd have been funnier if she called him a chicken again.) So he goes up first. Meanwhile, Robbie decides to go sneak up on Ziggy, but he trips over a wagon. Ziggy turns around and assumes it's Trixie. Then for some reason Robbie falls down. (??) Stephanie yells out his name, he sees Trixie, he looks at Robbie, and he yells.
Despite the fact he can't.. ya know.. see.. he chases Ziggy around, and after a while Ziggy has tripped and a box is on top of his head but he continues running, and he runs out the door. The crystal beeps and Sportacus flies into town, and grabs two of Bessie's pegs. Meanwhile, Ziggy has tripped over a rock, and fallen over and he can't get out the box.
And like it should've down years ago, the Leaning Tower of LazyTown leans just a BIT too much. (The timing of this show is ridiculous) Luckily, Sportacus flips over to the tower and kicks it back in place!
Then he gets Ziggy out the box, and the tower leans again - but this time, he uses HIS HANDS to keep it in place! THEN HE KICKS OPEN THE DOOR!! Probably one of the best rescues ever. Anyways, when they've all gotten out the tower, they realize the ghost is getting away. Sportacus says he doesn't think it's a real ghost, then he flips onto a wall and pulls out the pegs. He pegs Robbie straight to Bessie's hanging line and crawls out the costume - which is now revealed. (it hits hard this time because Bessie yells out 'ROBBIE ROTTEN') After he runs to the lair, Milford runs over to them to check if they're OK.
Trixie says it was her fault this all happened - and she's right - it's her no good doing stinky manure rule-breaking scooting red loving but got no lovers little self's fault. But everyone else says it's not her fault because they ALL broke the rules. YEAH, YOU DID, because of her!! DUHH?? But this is Nickelodeon. Anyways, they say that the most important thing is the lesson was learnt, but Stingy says it was that he found that coin, then they laugh (I'd throw him back in the castle and make it lean again goddammit) and perform Bing Bang.
In the lair, Robbie is sulking when he hears Hoot Hoot from earlier in the episode making noise. He goes to check what it is. Then he sees it on top of the shaft and RUNS BACK to the Leaning Tower. IT'S AN OWL, NOT AN ANGRY MOM WITH A SLIPPER. In relief that he got away from the owl (which apparently is more scary than an angry mom with a slipper), he wipes off his sweat, and leans on the tower and makes it lean even more then it did at the beginning of the episode.
Then he goes back to the lair.
6/10 - Took me forever to watch, cool rescue, songs and plot.

Swiped Sweets is easily one of the most recognizable episodes of LazyTown, thanks to the featured song 'Cooking by The Book'. That aside, is it really a good episode?
Sportacus wakes up after a good nights sleep, feeling like he can do anything. He decides to make some orange juice.
He literally karate chops the orange in half, then squeezes it into his cup then takes a sip. What a great way to start the day. In Milford's house, he is talking to himself about how he doesn't know what to get Bessie for her birthday. The kids are listening to music (that was taken from the Latador CD in 1998) and Stephanie realizes that Milford has Bessie's birthday on his mind. Stephanie tells him that if he messes it up like last year (Milford gave Bessie sunflowers, not knowing she is allergic) that Bessie will never talk to him again.
However, Bessie has gave Stephanie a large book of gifts so she knows what she wants. (In my opinion, just ruining the surprise.) They flip through the book and look through 3 possible gifts - a cruise boat (too expensive!), a vase (too breakable!), and a cake. They ultimately decide to bake a cake for Bessie.
However, Milford says he is too nervous to make it, so Stephanie offers to bake it for him. Pixel, Stingy and Ziggy sing the word "hellooo" as a choir and Pixel analyses some data. If I was Milford I'd just buy a cake, because with two six year old puppets and one eight year old puppet baking a cake for you, disaster is bound to happen. Anyways, they finish baking the cake and Pixel says it's time to decorate it.
Pixel puts some whipped cream on the cake using Milford's cake decorator but Stingy takes it claiming it is his, then Ziggy takes it not knowing what it is and squirts cream all over the cupboard doors.
Anyways, they start throwing cake, lollipops and whipped cream around the kitchen thus creating a food fight. Milford comes to check out what's going on and he gets squirted with LOTS of whipped cream.. *sigh* People have made hundreds of jokes about this and I really wish I didn't get them.
Sportacus' crystal beeps and he visits the Mayor's house with two ping pong paddles. The two hide behind a counter, and I could swear this was a war movie if there was different music, the lighting was darker and it was in the movie aspect ratio. Anyways, Sportacus flips onto the kitchen counter, dodging all the cake and candy that comes his way.. for about 3 seconds until getting hit in the face with some cream. Sportacus says that food is for growing and not for throwing , and Ziggy tries to explain they were making a cake (a.k.a. a big lump of bread with pink cream all over it..) Sportacus tells them to try it again but without the mess.
He then goes back to his airship and the kids perform "Cooking by the Book" (an undeniably pretty good song..) while baking a proper cake for Bessie. I guess the cake was so good, because Robbie smelt it all the way from his lair. Robbie sees the cake and decides to make his own, but ultimately ends up saying swiped cake is better.
He does his classic DISGUISE TIME! And ends up with a detective disguise. He calls himself Hintslock Foams and actually comes up with a good plan to swipe the cake and convince everyone it was Sportacus. Anyways, his costume comes on the big plate like it did in Sports Day and knocks him over. He puts on the hat and reacts satisfied. LOL!!
Back at Milford's house, the cake has gone amazingly well, but Milford is still paranoid, saying that Bessie could be allergic to cake too (another LOL moment!!). Anyways, they leave the cake out of sight while Milford calls Bessie.
He doesn't know what to say, so Stephanie tells him to say "I'd like to invite you over for a nice surprise", but he somehow stuffs it up and says "I'd like to invite you over to put flies on your eyes." I don't know how he won the election, but it makes for a lotta funny moments in this show. Anyways, Bessie says she will be there as soon as she can and Robbie takes the cake while nobody is looking. He puts some of the frosting on Sportacus' ladder. I ain't no Robbie enthusiast, but this is geniunely an amazing plan. The plans he has in the series are good, he just executes them terribly.
Bessie visits Milford's house, but when the cover for the cake is lifted off, it reveals nothing there and Bessie declares another one of her birthdays RUINED (one bad gift doesn't ruin an entire day, Brattie Busybody) Robbie is right outside and he comes in the house, SLAMMING the door on Milford TWICE to introduce himself.
He says the best way to find a cake burglar is to find cake clues. (Personally I think DNA, but OK) Just right then, Sportacus jumps out his airship, and his hand touches the exact ladder step that Robbie covered with cake (coincidences..) Robbie goes up to Sportacus asking to see his hands. Covered with cake!
Robbie arrests Sportacus and puts up the stage now. Court is in session and for some reason Milford is already in a judge costume. Anyways Robbie asks Sportacus the classic question - "Did nobody see you NOT eat the cake?" Which doesn't make any sense until you think about it. Anyways, after 10 seconds, Robbie rests his case. Robbie tells Milford to cover his right eye and read one of those papers you see at the eye doctors that says "E S P O R T A C U S I S G U I L T Y". He reads it wrong the first time (which was not really that funny) then reads it right the second time.
Robbie tries pushing Sportacus to jail, then he walks himself, then for some reason Robbie just falls down? It's so random it's.. funny. Anyways, Robbie uses something that looks like a handcuff then throws it behind him and it makes a jail. Funny enough, you can actually see the jail already behind them. Come on guys, the budget was nearly 1,558,604 AUD. Anyways, everyone is watching Sportacus being put in jail.
It turns out Sportacus has no problem with being in jail. He even reminds Robbie to lock the door (but he stands up and can easily get out). If I was Sportacus I would just climb out of there considering I did nothing wrong, but I guess he had faith.
Inside, Ziggy realizes that Sportacus has sugar meltdowns if he eats cake (took ya long enough), but he was stretching in the cell, meaning he didn't eat the cake. I don't know why Sportacus just didn't say that himself. Anyways, Ziggy realises that no meltdown means no sugar and no sugar means.. actually, he forgot. How did the dude who solved it forget what he was trying to say?? Anyways, they start going detective mode while Sportacus is working out.
During the montage, Trixie appears in an eight second cameo. I'm glad she isn't in the episode for much. Ziggy finds lollipops from the cake they baked and follows a trail of them, and they come from Robbie. He then realizes that he stole the cake!! (Shocker.) They decide they have to get the key. Pixel puts an antenna (how did an eight year old make that?) on Stingy's car and Ziggy sits on the hood. Stephanie is in charge of the remote. She drives the car over to the tree where the key is.
Ziggy stands up and jumps to reach the key. However he's too short so he uses a lollipop but the kids yell NO!! and tell him not to do it. What, did they think he was gonna throw it up the tree? Anyways, he licks the lollipop and sticks it to key. Success!!
Ziggy unlocks the cell and everyone is happy. Especially Stephanie who turned Asian for a while. She puts her hands up in a shape that looks like she is holding invisible katanas. Anyways, they go back to Milford's house and bake an unappetizing looking cake (turn that frosting brown and it looks like something from a deleted scene of the Two Girls One Cup video.) to lure Robbie into.
Milford comes to the house and asks Sportacus if he broke out of jail (does Milford really think he did it?), but Sportacus reveals that the kids found out who really did it. They place the cake in the cell veeerryyy carefully, which I found useless, because Robbie wasn't gonna hear them.
Robbie wakes up and smells the cake then he falls down from his sleeping paddock then sees a trail of cupcakes leading to the jail. Someone slams the door shut and everyone realizes it's Robbie.
Robbie tries to decline he swiped the sweets. Ziggy says that he has frosting all over his face, then Robbie takes some and flicks it on Bessie. (In my opinion, that didn't help, because he had tons more on his face.) Sportacus gives Milford the cake, and Robbie goes back to his lair (he carries the jail with him, LOL). Milford gives her the cake and they all sing the Bing Bang song.
Actually a pretty good episode. Not much to say, although that the lack of Sportacus scenes was annoying. Good episode, though.
