If someone randomly asked me to name the ninth episode of season two of LazyTown, it'd take me forever to remember what it was. So, Pixel TV is pretty much unknown to me.
The episode begins with Sportacus going to his screen, and Pixel is on his screen, telling him he's live in four seconds. Sportacus tells the camera that LazyTown is always moving and so are we. Then he does a buncha cool moves.
In his house, Pixel is managing his antenna and is talking to the LazyTown people on his TV screens. He's set up a LazyTown TV channel with good moves, good food and go, go, go! Stephanie will be doing Sportscandy, Bessie and Milford will be doing news, Ziggy and Stingy will be doing their cooking show (probably the funniest segment), and Trixie's doing a talk show (that's why she called Loud Girl).
Everyone has LazyTown TV, even Robbie, and for some reason, the LazyTown theme song plays on his television. He changes to Bing Bang, he changes to Sportacus eating, he changes to Pixel. And at the end of it all, he says.. 'they have their own TV show?!' and doesn't he know it.
Robbie decides if they can have their own TV shows, he can too - since he's handsome, talented and smart. If you're so smart, try actually coming up with a plan that works. Anyways, he has a mini TV that fits on his arm, and now it's time for Stephanie's show. He says he needs a disguise and goes to.. an empty purple box. It makes more sense when you see all his disguises being dropped via a chute.
Colours is performed, and that song really annoys me because mid-way through there is a random cut to Sportacus. I am all for Sportacus scenes, but I'm also all for LazyTown songs. During the song, Robbie steals almost all her Sportscandy, leaving one strawberry. LOL.
Due to that, she cannot make her Sportscandy Rainbow Smoothie (for some reason she keeps on breathing during every word. Sportscandy *sigh* rainbow smoothie.) & Pixel is going to switch to the news so he gets into his Rob R. Robley costume.
When Stephanie turns the camera on (she films and and has her own TV show.. remind you of a blue elf?), Milford doesn't talk. Pixel tells him to go. He asks, 'Go where?' 'You're on!' 'On where?' Haha. I love this season. Then Stephanie tells him the camera is on and to start reading the LazyTown Good News - Three butterflies on the sports field, and new flowers. This town would be so peaceful if it wasn't for Robbie. Speaking of Rob, he shows up with a fan, that blows away his wig and notes.
It's even funnier when you think that someone who was helping write this episode (I'm guessing Mani) said 'Let's give Milford a wig purely to blow it off.' XD! Now, Robley takes his place (Bessie is visibly angry, showing that she doesn't like him purely to use him).
So he announces a buncha lies - Sports Candy makes you sick and all sports has been outlawed forever. By Pixel's request, Stephanie switches over to Bessie's weather show. But Rob takes that pole thingy Bessie's holding and grabs it so hard she falls.
Rob says 'let's take a look at the weather' & signals for Stephanie to pan the camera up. Once she does, he says 'let's take a look at the weather' once again. WHY IS THIS FUNNY? WHY IS STEFAN SO FUNNY?? He takes off the birds, suns, clouds & adds a bunch of storm and rain, telling everyone it's too dangerous to go outside so they must stay inside doing nothing. Now Trixie's doing her yap show.
She's supposed to have a guest, but doesn't then she starts yelling at Pixel about how she needs a guest. Considering the fact he set up an entire TV channel, I think his brain can comprehend it, Loud Girl. Robbie disguises himself as her guest - some apparently famous dude called Purple Legend. Trixie yells at Pixel as he told her they were gonna have interesting guests (PL got steamrolled!), and PL says he eats ice-cream, cookies and candy all day, sleeps till noon, and Trixie says those are both boring. So, PL jumps on the chair out of anger! LOL!!
Trixie says if he's so interesting, he should do something like sing or juggle or DANCE, and he decides to do some weird Irish leg dance or something. Trixie is laughing. LITERALLY.
PL purposefully bumps into the camera, ending the show since the camera broke. And they switch over to Ziggy & Stingy's cooking show, but for some reason, Stingy can't say anything. He tells Ziggy to introduce the show, which he does. They are going to make a castle with apples, and Stingy tells us the ingredients are apples (WOWZA!), 50 of them. Ziggy corrects him by saying fourty-nine since he's eaten one. But they're interrupted by Chef Robert, who cancels them both.
And he is making the most delicious food in history of food - the sugar candy chocolate candy ice-cream gooey-ooey yummy cake. The ingredients - 2 bars of chocolate, a ridiculously excessive amount of sugar, and the candy. The worst part is that he doesn't even take the wrappers off the chocolate bar, or the lollipops off their sticks. Ziggy says it looks delicious but unhealthy.
Robert asks if he's a chef who went to cooking school wearing a big white hat. The answer is of course, no, and he yells at him to go away. The next step is to put the mix in the fridge, but he steps on an apple he threw on the ground, slips and falls, and now the mix is on his head. Slapstick moment.
Anyways, Steph and Trixie managed to get the camera up and running, and now comes the best of all - Bessie's puppet show. I'm being sarcastic, this sucks.
(During it, Pixel complains since this is being broadcast worldwide.) Robbie sees the puppet show, and he says 'Puppets, now they've gone too far!' LOL. He decides now he has to stop the TV station once and for all, and he does that.. with a gorilla outfit. And the way he does it? Instead of scaring him into stopping it, he CLIMBS UP PIXEL'S ANTENNA AND SHAKES IT.
The TV's now all glitchy and stuff, but he shakes too hard and almost falls down. Luckily, Sportacus appears (where ya been dude?) to save the gorilla. Milford is going live with LazyTown Good News. This is sure to make headlines! Milford asks the gorilla what he's doing up there, and he RESPONDS with 'I'm breaking this antenna forever!' But when he falls, Sportacus attaches a hook to Pixel's roof, causing it to open so the gorilla lands in his house. Once he does, the head falls off, and it's revealed that Robbie was doing all this nonsense instead of .. just.. not watching TV.
It turns out well in the end as Milford tells everyone it's just Robbie, Sportacus goes back, & Stingy films Steph doing the Bing Bang. No Sportacus power jump unfortunately. In the lair, Robbie is attempting to forget about the day with ice-cream, but a news report about the day is played on the channel.
And he yells. THE END!
8/10 - Great plot, funny dialogue!

Mmm, a new season! Smells like a new book.
The episode begins with a CGI shot of Sportacus' airship. Not gonna lie, but it looked better in the first season.. Anyways, Sportacus calls for some Sportscandy. He says he loves sportscandy, and also loves to move. So he throws the apple to the wall and it bounces. Then he does a handstand.
In an attempt to do a one-handed handstand, he lifts his hand up, whacking the apple against the wall again. Then he gets up, flips and kicks the apple to the camera. Then he does some more cartwheels and jumps, then he does a handstand and kicks the apple again!THEN he kicks it trying to stand up! And he does another handstand, kicking the poor apple. THEN he does backwards cartwheels, kicking the apple as he lifts up his feet. Sportacus starts to jump on the white circle mats, then starts shuffling from mat to mat. He does another cartwheel, hitting and kicking the apple. Then he does a backflip, a pushup, jumps up, puts his hand up, and bam!
The apple is in his hand. He says that Sportscandy and moving is super cool. What a great way to start a season, giving us the action we expect from LazyTown. Anyways, the main episode starts with a song - 'King of the Town'. A song the kids are performing in the Town Hall.
Stingy is on vocals, Trixie is on mixing, Stephanie is on guitar, Pixel is on piano and Ziggy is on drums. They sound wonderful until Stephanie accidentally gets caught up in her dancing and kicks the cord to her boombox. Then they sound bad enough for Sportacus to check on them to see if anyone is in trouble. Then Sportacus checks on them to see if anyone is in trouble. Stephanie shows Stingy the unplugged cord and he tells her to plug it in before someone discovers they can't play.
Too late. Sportacus insults them indirectly by saying he heard a terrible noise. They tell him it was them playing and he apologizes (not meaning it because that was awful!!). Then Ziggy demonstrates his epik drum skilz!!!1!111! and he almost falls down swinging the sticks.
Luckily, Sportacus catches him and the drum-sticks. Sportacus thinks it is great the kids are starting a band and Ziggy asks if he can play the drums and he can. I love this scene because other than exercise, sportscandy and jumping in muddy puddles, we know a bit more about Sporty's interests, hobbies and skills. Anyways, the drums are so loud Robbie's lair shakes and he comes falling to the ground from his chair. He is pretty annoyed but Bessie and Milford have a more positive reaction - he runs to the town hall. After Sportacus has finished, Milford asks him if that is a beat from a recognizable song, and Sportacus confirms it.
The drum beat is from 'Rock n roll, dude!' by Johnny B. Badd. (This reminds me of when my mother told me about Makoma, a religious DRC family who performed from 1993-2012.) Milford says Badd was his favourite artist as a kid and none of the kids have ever heard of him. Surprised Pixel hasn't because all he does is use the computer. He must've stumbled across some B. Badd fan site on Geocities at least once. Anyways, Milford tells the kids that everyone copied him as a kid. He demonstrates with a photo of Johnny B. Badd's concert poster and a photo of him.. with hair.
Anyways, he asks the kids if they wanna hear his music and they say yes. They go back to his house and play 'Rock your socks off' on vinyl. Everyone is dancing to the (super cool) song. Mani composed it which is great, because he's so talented he can write songs that sound like they're from the 60s! (Not to mention he actually co-wrote this episode.) Meanwhile, Robbie looks at them through his periscope and questions if they have ants in their pants. By the request of Bessie (this is her favorite of Johnny's songs), he turns the volume up. Robbie is still looking and is even more horrified when he figures out they're dancing!
Stephanie (despite this being an instrumental song) loves Johnny's songs and wishes she could hear him sing in person. Milford stops the vinyl and says that is a wonderful idea (it isn't. Johnny could possibly be dead or retired). They are going to award him with a trophy for being their favourite singer. Robbie says that everyone will listen to him and do as he says. Then he comes up with the great idea (shouldn't have taken him seven seconds to come up with) to disguise himself as Johnny B. Badd!
We find out Milford is such a fan he knows Badd's phone number. (He asks how he looks before calling him, XD!) So he dials 555-2-BAD, and the phone line that the Badd's phone is inside is literally miles away from LazyTown. Robbie climbs up to the phone line and answers the call.
Milford asks if this is Johhny, and Robbie says yes. Before agreeing to come to the town, he asks Milford if kids still think he is cool and will obey his every word. Milford says that if Johnny told him to bark like a dog, he'd bark like a dog. Then Robbie tells him to bark like a dog. Much to Bessie's shock, he barks like a dog. The noise startles Robbie and he falls off the phone line with a really loud yell.
The funniest part is it wasn't even that loud - he said it with no effort like 'Woof. Woof.' Anyways, Milford hangs up and he tells them that Johnny sang to him. The kids decide to go practice THEIR music - performing 'Play in a Band'. After the song ends, Milford goes to his office looking for something, then Robbie turns his chair around.
In a reference to 'Robbie Rotten's Greatest Misses' which is a reference to 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas', Milford stutters until Robbie tells him to 'spit it out!' and he does. Bessie faints.
In a @lazytownpoint interview with Mani from 2007, he says he tried to add humor to the episodes. And boy, oh boy, did he succeed amazingly! Milford tells him the kids want to meet him and he does 'the WOW move'. Twice. By the second time, MILFORD faints!
Robbie asks 'Grandpa' if he is okay, then he stands up. Robbie tells him to pull himself together. The kids are drinking water [Ziggy is drinking soda, durr] after their practice and Milford makes a loud-speaker announcement to tell the kids to come meet Johnny. Robbie walks up on stage and he wants to play a super fun game - ''Catch a Rockstar!' How to play?
Well, you might not know and apparently neither did the kids.. I thought the name was very straight forward! Then comes a more cartoony moment where there are stars flying around his head after he gets up and sits on stage. Then he signs autographs.
He signs Stingy's notepad as from 'Robbie' which confuses the kids for a second (that alone should've revealed it was Robbie!!!). He says Robbie is just a rotten friend of his. Milford tells the kids to give him some space because he needs to prepare for the concert. Once everyone leaves, he says to himself that nobody needs to worry about a concert because there won't be one. Meanwhile, Robbie is in his dressing room chillaxing when Milford knocks on the door and he lets him in. Milford is for some reason, in the exact same clothing as Johnny.
Robbie tells him his hair looks terrible then Milford says it's a JBB wig. Then he smiles and does 'the wow move'. He tells him he looks cool, and Milford asks him if he needs anything. Robbie says he needs white towels with blue stripes, assuming it'll take him a long time to find them.
It doesn't. Then he asks for twenty chocolate cookies. He gets them, alongside with a rubber ducky. He tests Milford by asking for a golden trophy, which nearly tricks the Mayor, but he says after the show. Then Robbie asks to get rid of Sportacus, as all the jumping and flipping gets on his nerves. Milford is not too sure about it until Robbie threatens to sing somewhere else. So he sends Sporty a letter.
Sportacus assumes it's his invitation to the concert. And boy, oh boy, does he get a doozy. It's the COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF HIS INVITATION TO THE CONCERT. Also, his confused face is hilarious. Maggi rocks.
Sportacus doesn't go to the concert - he even makes it official with a response letter to the mayor. (I lied - he decides to check up on them 'just in case' (he really wants to go)). Anyways, Milford gives Sportacus' response letter to Robbie who dances of excitement, then switches to the air guitar to avoid suspicion. Then he shuts the door in an attempt to get Milford to shut up about the show starting in three minutes and Milford's wig gets stuck. So, Milford knocks, Robbie opens the door.. and..
He puts on the wig. IT'S A WIGCEPTION!! Until he notices and gives it back to him. Robbie talks to himself about how the concert won't go, then he steps on the rubber ducky (nooo11!!!!), picks it up and carries it, telling it to 'go finish our hair!' XD. The kids who are in the audience are waiting for Johnny then Milford makes an announcement. The show's starting in one minute, and he tells everyone (Pixel) to turn off all devices. Milford sees Robbie trying to take the trophy, and then he pulls the curtain! The kids are confused to see him stealing, but he lies and says he is just polishing it.
Then he puts it back, and just stands on stage. Then the kids tell him he should be singing and once he realizes, he grabs a guitar and hides behind the curtains. He turns on the boombox and performs (undeniably super awesome and amazing masterpiece) 'Rock your socks off'. If only we got a full version, as the song was supposed to last as long until he tripped over the boombox cord. So, anyways, he grabs the trophy and makes a run for it.. then he trips over the guitar and has the trophy stuck on his head.
Sportacus' crystal beeps, and he sees Robbie (who ran outside the door) with the trophy on his head. Using a new vehicle, he travels to LazyTown and sees Robbie who has tripped over Stingy's car and is now on a swing. Sportacus is smiling until he falls off, so he kicks a wheelbarrow. He falls into it, and he's having a ride until the wheelbarrow drives over a rock and he runs into the hall. He closes the door and the handle falls off. Not a problem for Sportacus, who uses his Yoyo to take the door off it's hinges (and put them back on). Then he does a frontflip and snatches the trophy off of Robbie's head.
The disguise is revealed as he also snatches off his wig. (LOL, weave snatch in a Nick. Jr show!) Milford says you can admire people but shouldn't copy them, which is what he has been doing the entire episode. Bessie's sad because they couldn't have a concert, but the kids say they can and perform 'Bing Bang' - the rock version!! Epic.
Robbie declares the plan the dumbest thing he's ever done. Out of anger, he smacks a plate with a cake slice on it while yelling 'ROCK AND ROLL??!!' Then the cake flings on him. Then he says THAT was the dumbest thing he's ever done.
10/10 - Three songs and I love them all - no flaws in this episode.

Sportacus on the Move! (prod 136)
Chris Crow (https://www.youtube.com/@handle6324) gave GetLazy an .iso of the ninth LazyTown DVD intended for promotional use only. To finally put the .iso to use, I decided to take all the screenshots in this episode myself. I also watched it using VLC.
Original airdate: May 18, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Cole Louie, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess
Sportacus is my favourite character, but this is a clip show AND in the style of an autobiographical documentary. So will I really even like it? Beware - I don't really explain most scenes good enough because they're mostly recycled from other episodes, so I keep it short.
The episode begins with a new cold open (good start!) where Sportacus is riding to town on his sky chaser. Once Stephanie sees him she puts in her letter. Sportacus checks on what she's doing, then she sends the letter. Sportacus rides back to his airship to get the letter, and he does.
We get some narration from Sportacus, who is thanking us for our letters. Some letters that were actually sent to LazyTown Entertainment pop up on the screen, with kids reading out their questions - and there's a big last group yell - 'can I be a superhero?' Sportacus says anyone can be a hero, then he walks through his morning.
Here is a recycled cold open from 'Zap It!' that I'll only explain as my Zap It review was rushed. Sportacus gets out of bed and flips into a pair of skating shoes. He grabs a hockey stick and skates over to his bed. He throws away a cushion then arranges the blanket.
He says that's how you make a bed, then skates over to his cupboard, spinning the hockey stick once more then putting it back in it's place, literally. He declares it breakfast time.
A recycled cold open from 'Dear Diary' - he slices up a banana with a ping pong racket, falls to the ground and tries to catch all the slices in his mouth. Still hungry, he calls for an apple but there are none left. So he decides to have some random watermelon that was on the floor.
Recycled cold open from 'Dr. Rottenstein' - he throws away the watermelon, does some cartwheels, jumps in the air, and now he's handstanding on the watermelon. Then he gets off, throws it in the air and catches it doing a power jump. He twirls it on his finger and it shatters to slices as he drops it on the table, then he eats it.
Now, it's teethy cleany time the Twenty Times way! Sportacus flips onto his aerobics bar, hangs on with his legs, and grabs his toothbrush. He jumps off and starts brushin!
The rest of the LazyTowners are brushing too to 'Twenty Times Time', but that all ends when Sportacus throws the toothbrush out of his accidentally-open door. He jumps out the airship and lands on the sky-chaser, and from then on, it's a mashup of 'Twenty Times Time' & 'Get it Together'. After the whole toothbrush thingy, Sportacus wants to play a little game with the sports spinner.
His first exercise is jumping jacks, and he adds a little Sportatwist to it - in the middle he starts flailing his arms around like those inflated people you see at car shops, then he starts kicking.
Then he just starts to fricking jump. That may just be some practice for his second move and my favourite one - Power jumping! So, he does a bunch of power jumps (no Sportatwists) before going on to a harder move - soccer. A recycled cold open from Soccer Sucker. Meanwhile, the kids are doing nothing!
They're probably bored because Sportacus isn't playing with them, but Milford tells them to do something fun like play basketball, and they all have fun doing so. After he throws back the ball, he says that he's now ready for anything, then something happens. He gets a letter, and reads it.
It's a question about why he moves so much. His answer is that he loves to move, and then he performs Get it Together. Once the song ends, he flips over to his water bottle and puts some water in his cup. Recycled cold open from Miss Roberta - he hits an ice cube using a baseball bat against the walls and it lands in his glass of water and he drinks it.
Then he gets a letter from an unknown person asking him to teach him one-arm pushups. This is my favourite part of the episode. So, he demonstrates normal pushups, triceps pushups, clapping, turning, then he tries ONE ARM!
Then jumping then clapping behind his back! Sure enough, he accomplishes it! Then he does his favourite - one arm, one leg. This is super cool. He calls for paper and a pen and he draws some pictures of his favourite pushups, and of course, a message. He sends his letter using air-mail, but he forgot to sign his name. He runs out, but the door isn't activated yet, so he has to turn the knob a bit. TWICE.
Finally, once it opens, he ties his feet to a white rope, then attaches the piece of metal to it on the magnet of his airship's door. He then dives off, catches the letter, and pulls himself back up. Then he signs his name.
Then he throws it back out. Now it's time for another energy boost. Meanwhile, a recycled scene from Ziggy's Alien - Robbie tries to sleep but is awaken by the sound of a kid yelling for help. In this case it's recycled from 'New Superhero' and Ziggy is falling. Then a recycled scene from 'Sports candy festival' where Sportacus' Club Special is consumed by Sportacus. I have complained about this so many times - but that is a plain lettuce and tomato sandwich.
The crystal beeps. Sportacus says before he saves someone he tries locating the problem, which he almost never does. Liar. So, he rides into the town and saves Ziggy with a skateboard and a comically long scarf.
The crystal beeps again - this time a recycled rescue from the VERY FIRST EPISODE involving Trixie being a moron, Stingy being a moron, Stingy flying in the air, and a seesaw.
Then a recycled rescue combining clips from both 'Sportscandy Festival' & the beginning of 'New superhero'. Milford is carrying a cake, he's about to walk onto a skateboard, but with the help of a carrot, he doesn't. Then a recycled scene from 'Sportscandy Festival' - Steph wants an apple, Sportacus throws a ball at the tree, Steph has an apple.
Then Energy is performed. Sportacus goes back to the airship using the sky-chaser. Robbie who has been looking through his periscope pushes it back of anger, then it comes rolling back and he makes a dive for it.
XD! So, Sportacus flips into his bed, day turns to night, and a recycled ending from the VERY FIRST EPISODE plays! Except this time there's an extra two seconds of Robbie's pained expression after lifting his arm.
3/10 - This episode was a bit boring as it was a lazy attempt to finish the season with recycled clips. The push-up and super spinner sequences really saved it for me, if those scenes were absent I wouldn't have liked this episode AT ALL.

School Scam (prod 207)
Original airdate: February 13, 2007
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Magnus Scheving, Jonathan Judge
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion, Emily Decola, Mary Robinette Kowal
I hate learning 123s for quick calculation..
I've seen the opening sequence so many times I don't even need to watch it to type this up - Sportacus makes the first three letters of the alphabet clouds using his skutla, and he says 'Now that's how to do the ABCs!' Maybe it has something to do with the fact a short clip of it is seen in every single one of the last two seasons' episodes.
Stephanie is finishing off some of her homework when Milford asks what she's doing at the house, then she asks what he's doing at the house, and he replies with 'I live here' - which reminds me why I think Season 2 is the best season, the humour and music. Máni Svavarrson had some kind of role in both of those, one bigger then the other. So Mani, if you see this, you rock! Anyways, Stephanie reminds him he's the principal of LazyTown School, and he should be ringing the bell and opening the door. So he starts ringing the bell.
Robbie is woken up by the bell and he mistakes it for his phone ringing, so he answers the phone. LOL, then he hears Milford's voice, hangs up, and asks himself who is ringing it. He goes to check using the periscope and sees Milford, and looks away. He says school is a terrible way to start the day - for once he says something agreeable!
Ziggy is attempting to walk to school, but his backpack is too heavy, and he falls into a wheelbarrow. Meanwhile, Stingy is being a moron. Trixie is carrying all his books when she says it's his turn to do so, and he asks what more she wants (Considering he's giving her his property). Stingy and Trixie see Ziggy fly by and Sportacus' crystal beeps. He flies to LazyTown using the sky bike and flips behind Stingy and Trixie, and asks Trixie for.. a pencil??
And Stingy for.. paper. Stingy rips off the CORNER of his page, expecting Sportacus to use that. Trixie yells at him and he gives Sportacus a bigger one. So Sportacus does some boring calculations.
LazyTown's too cool to cover MATHS!!! Anyways, he says he'll save him once he is 5 feet away from the wall, and once he is, he throws a yo-yo, wraps it around a tree, and Trixie tells Ziggy to grab hold of it. He does, and Sportacus gets him off. After thanking him, Ziggy nearly falls down again thanks to how heavy his bag is, and guess what his 'school supplies' were?
Ziggy is fictional. Ziggy is fictional. Ziggy is fictional. Ziggy is fictional. *deep breaths in and out* Anyways, Sportacus grabs an apple, Ziggy bites it, and he's energized now. He runs to school so he isn't late and also because he's excited as Sportacus said he might check up on him. Robbie is somehow annoyed by this and vows to stop the kids from learning anything so they don't become like 'Sportanerd'. LOL. But Stephanie does a frontflip in this episode, so uhh..
He decides to become a teacher so the kids learn nothing. He gets into his Professor H. R. Rottennen (what a boring long name) costume. At school, the kids perform I Like Learning. Once they finish, Milford arrives in the school, as well as Rottennen who introduces himself as the new teacher. When Milford asks why they need a new teacher, he yells at Milford - 'NO TALKING IN MY CLASS!' and he says 'Yes, teacher!'
I love this show. Rottennen pushes Milford out the room. So, the kids starts the lesson.. by sitting in a student's chair. LOL! The kids have to tell him he's supposed to sit up at the front. He laughs, and does so. Anyways, now it's reading time which yet again, the kids have to tell him. And here comes one of the funniest sequences from this show: He tells them to open their books, turn them around, and go to sleep!
I think it's this shot that just makes me laugh. Because all you can hear is his snoring for 2 seconds. Stingy coughs into a MEGAPHONE to wake him up. Then he wakes up, falls off his chair, stands up, and starts doing karate to.. the air?
I could take this scene, speed it up and caption it with sometihng funny like 'bro thinks he's bruce lee' or 'one minute without zaza', upload it to YouTube and get a million subscribers or something because that's how advanced humor is nowadays (even though I think my imaginary captions are funny but whatever). Anyways, when he realizes he looks like a weirdo, he says he's just stretching.
That's why this show rocks - it teaches you how to live healthy while appealing with amazing music & humor. It's been eighteen years since this episode was written and the humor still makes people laugh to this day. Anyways, now it's time for maths (LOL that was like 25 seconds), and they get out their maths books - Thus spawning the incredible quote once again 'Open your books, turn them around, and go to sleep!' Then they tell him that they're supposed to be adding and subtracting, and when he's lost words to say..
The bell comes in handy and the lesson has already ended. I wanna go to LazyTown School! After a while they have their next lesson which is outside. And Robbie tells them to sit down, lean, and go to sleep. LOL. But the kids keep on whining. Luckily, Sportanerd comes to the rescue.
He asks what new things they're learning and apparently they've learned to jump and flip and stuff, but the kids reveal they haven't learned how to jump the horse, and it takes a while for him to figure out what horse they mean. He attempts to do the jump aaaannnddd..
Oof! Hey Rotten, how are the family jewels? Then he turns upside-down, and falls off the horse. Then he says 'That is how you jump the cow.' I actually chuckled at that one. Maybe it was Stingy's response 'a COW?????' Stephanie asks Sportacus if he can teach the kids new moves. He does a QUADRUPLE backflip off the horse! Anyways, Rottenenn has somehow gone underground and is cutting a hole in the ground.
Once he comes back up, he tells the kids to go back inside and have a snack. When they all leave, he tells Sportacus that he didn't quite catch the landing of when he jumped off the horse and would like if he could do it again so he can teach the kids how to do so. So he does it again, Rottenenn pulls a lever that came out of nowhere, and mixing some shots from Secret Agent Zero and new ones for this episode, he falls into his trap.
He then goes back to class, snickering until he sees the kids with their science gear and he yells. Gosh, I love this episode. Now it's time for science. Rottenenn tells them to OPEN THEIR BOOKS, TURN THEM AROUND, LEAN FORWARD, AND GO TO SLEEP. I think this was the funniest because Stephanie has a huge smile on her face until she hears 'turn around' and looks at Trixie like Trixie's the camera and she's the main character in the sitcom. LOL!!!
The kids are now annoyed a lot and they tell him that they want to do science, and he actually listens to them. He starts flicking through some pages, and finds a formula. He starts mixing a few liquids and coincidentally, that's the exact same formula for..
AN EXPLOSIOOOONNNNNNN!! The liquid starts foaming, and all the kids run out. The only one still in there is Rottenenn. Robbie tries to open the door, but he breaks the handle, as well as Stephanie on the other side. The school explodes, Rottennen has to go to hospital, the end. Not really the end because the crystal beeps and Sportacus attempts to open the trap by getting the horse off it. Stephanie goes to find Sportacus, and she finds out he is trapped.
She tries to move the chair but she cannot since she isn't strong enough. Sportacus asks if there is Sportscandy nearby & he tells her to do the jump/flip that he did to get the Sportscandy and push the chair. Sure enough, she does it! But in one of the shots she looks like she JUMPED to get the apple.
She takes one bite and pushes the chair. Conveniently, Sportacus jumps onto the chair. Meanwhile, Rottennen has ripped the curtain and tied it to a table and is going to jump out the window, but Sportacus is jumping through the hole on top of the door. When he gets in, he startles Rottennen, causing him to fall out but Sportacus stops the table with his leg.
He asks the kids for help to stop the chemical reaction. Trixie opens up the science book and Pixel figures out the right amounts and liquids to put in - a little bit of the orange, a lot of the red, a liquid par?? of the green one. And whoop-de-doo, the green one is at the end of the table.
It explodes and they don't have school or a superhero anymore. The end. Well, not really, because here comes one of the coolest parts of the episode - Sportacus lets go of the table, flips across the teacher's desk, AND GRABS HOLD OF THE TABLE!
In his office, Milford is wondering how the new teacher is going. XD. Anyways, attempting to put just ONE drop of the green liquid inside, the cloth nearly rips, but Sportacus does it! THEN the cloth actually rips, but luckily Sportacus grabs it.
Milford hears the twang of the curtain, asks himself what it was, and despite the fact Rottenenn is literally outside of his window, he ignores it, and thinks it's nothing. Yes, the school nearly exploding & your 'new teacher' almost falling to the ground is nothing. Sportacus lifts him up back into the classroom, and his glasses fall off. Sportacus puts the door handle back in place, and opens the door, asking if the kids are okay. Robbie takes his wig off, replying with a firm YES! And now, the disguise is revealed, which is kinda stupid, because how'd he forget the kids were there?
Robbie says he thinks he has some homework to do and leaves the room. The kids thank Sportacus and say they learned something new - Open your books, turn around, STAND UP AND DANCE! They perform Bing Bang. During the song, Milford nods his head, hinting that NOW he hears everything. Robbie attempts the experiment in his lair, saying that it will work this time and it fails.
He says 'Maybe not.' and he didn't open any books, turn them around, lean forward (he leaned backwards!) and went to sleep. He'll feel that when he wakes up!
10/10 - This episode was so exciting and intense and it almost made me want to go to school.

BoredJedi (youtube.com/user/LazyBlueHaze) gave me an .iso of the “Superhero” Australian DVD from 2008. To finally put the .iso to use, I decided to take all the screenshots in this episode myself. I also watched it using VLC.

New Superhero II! This is where the fun begins. I cannot wait to watch this episode, it's a complete and super masterpiece!!
The episode begins with an Australian-exclusive title card featuring the LazyTown logo, the DVD title logo, and Part Two in orange.
Robbie is in his lair, making a big speech about his plan to.. nobody. Why does he always actively do this when nobody is listening? Robbie says that if Sportacus wants trouble, he'll get trouble with four legs, a tail and big teeth. The robodog will attack when anybody at all says 'Trouble'. Yes, anyone, even Robbie. Robbie starts crafting it, and it looks exactly like the plan.
For the laziest dude in town, must've taken him a lot of time to get the materials for the robodog, hmm? Anyways, it works as it's supposed to, and Robbie has so much fun flipping the switch he sings the song 'Woof Woof Woof'. A pretty funny song. Meanwhile, Sportacus is wearing headphones and is (forced to be) listening to Trixie's Mix which is bass and drums and bass. It's not really Sportacus' style, but I thought it was pretty good! Never knew she had musical 'talent'!!!
Robbie has a Sportacus cutboard cutout and he puts his face in it and tempts the dog. LOL. So he brings it up into town. Meanwhile, Sportastephanie shows the kids her outfit, and Trixie says it's good.. NOT! Why was this an insult in the 2000s..? This is so out of character for a kids show. Then comes one of the most epic lines from Stephanie.
While Stephanie is deciding who to save first, Milford is cleaning his house with a feather duster and he sneezes, causing it to fall out the window. She dives into the bushes and saves the so-called cat.
So, her friends are being complete jerks, laughing but she shrugs it off. Me personally, I'd do a huge frontflip and purposefully kick them in the face. Meanwhile, Sportacus is reading some Latabæ comics with Jive on the cover and decides to put on his headphones. Now playing - some actual fricking good workout music to accidentally tempt Sporty. Here comes a funny sequence where he does sit-ups. Robbie is looking for him behind the wall and bobs up every time Robbie looks away. XD!
PAL screencaps, LOL! -chuft. Gosh darn blended frames. So anyways, the kids are chatting and Trixie says that she has a feeling not much'll happen today, so Stephanie won't have to do any REAL saving. In comes Robbie asking where Sportakook is.
Sportacook'd be a great nickname for a LazyTown cooking show (which SHOULD have happened in 2014-15..). Anyways, when the kids tell him Sportacus is on vacation, he says there is never a super hero when you need one. Then Stephanie introduces herself and Robbie starts bursting into laughter.
Her friends who had just acted like complete jerks to her start wondering what's so funny and why he's funny. Stephanie says he is taking over for Sportacus just in case there is any trouble. (She points her finger up and Robbie mocks her, which genuinely made me laugh out loud.) Then the Robo Dog attacks, and like a true hero.. she runs away.
Robbie likes the outcome of the robo dog so much he decides to get an ice-cream. He wants to get a DOUBLE scoop, but the dog looks at him. He says the sentence, 'I said double, not trouble!' which could be a possible reference to season two, episode four, 'Double Trouble'. So anyways the dog attacks, Robbie runs past Sportacus who has done 1000 sit-ups and is going to go back to relaxing.
Robbie is running back to the lair, trying to get back in, but instead he climbs up the billboard (the robo-dog nearly bit his posterior multiple times, XD) but is too scared to come down. Stingy says they're really in trouble and the dog starts barking. SOMEHOW Stephanie realizes that dog goes cuckoo because of the T-word. So they climb in the treehouse.
Stingy sounds like a girl when he squeals. He must sound extra extra girly in the British dub. Stephanie decides to do something about it, but once the dog approaches her she starts squealing and running. Meanwhile, Robbie realizes he is stuck on the billboard and he starts talking to himself about how birds'll build nests in his hair and he'll be called the Billboard Guy. (Is it true that people of Robbie's age talk to themselves this much?) Sportacus hears Robbie's cries of help.
Sportacus decides to end the vacation early and check the trouble out. I think it is ridiculous he finds out about the trouble ten minutes after the kids all start yelling. He puts the crystal back in, and he almost says the T-word. Stephanie smacks him on the mouth, which I thought was funny.
So, she fills him in and they jump on the wall, cartwheeling (might've been JRM) and flipping (that wasn't JRM) over to the treehouse. Sportacus puts up the ladder so Stephanie walks on her hands to the treehouse to save the kids.
Sportacus goes to save Robbie. Meanwhile, Stephanie hooks the rope in the treehouse (this is ridiculous plot armor, the rope was never even there!) to her back and she goes down. Trixie lowers her down. Sportacus saves Robbie by running, dropping the ladder and doing a flip in the air.
So he tries to save him but when he holds out his hand he thinks that HE IS TRYING TO HIT HIM until Sporty picks him up. Sportacus tells him to slide down the ladder (which could go wrong in so much ways) Then he sits back down thinking it's a trick. So then he puts his hand out.. and grabs onto Sportacus' leg.
So Sportacus decides to pick up Robbie and throw him down the ladder. When he is finished sliding, he yells out 'Mommy!'. It's always funny to see grown men acting like babies.
Meanwhile, at the treehouse, Trixie has pulled Stephanie down and she is face to face with the Robo Dog. Sportacus' crystal beeps and he calls for a football. He throws the ball in the dog's mouth and Stephanie flips the switch.
Sportacus yells to Stephanie he'll be right there, but he won't because Robbie has took away the ladder so he can't get off the billboard. Robbie just tried to get Sportacus hurt after he got saved by him and Tumblr fans still ship the two. So Stephanie deliberately throws the ball at Robbie's head and knocks him out. This is the first time I've seen Stephanie hurt someone on purpose! (Maybe she wanted it to hit the ladder..?)
So the kids that were doubting here are congratulating her and complimenting her, but she thanks Sportacus (who gives her his football) first. She apologizes for ruining his vacation and he says that saving people is the best vacation ever, which doesn't really make sense.
Anyways, Stephanie jokingly says she needs a vacation, and they sing an extended version of Bing Bang. The episode ends with a minute worth of pre-credit endings from Sporty, Stephanie and Robbie. Robbie's dragging the Robo Dog to his lair, and he says that it's nothing but trouble.. and he activates it by doing so.
Stephanie writes in her diary before going to bed, Sportacus does some pushups and flips in his bed, and Robbie goes to bed.. in the dog house. Why did he even have it? The episode ends.
That episode was totally awesome. 10/10. Nothing more said.

My Treehouse (prod 113)
Original airdate: November 11, 2004
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Cole Louie, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello

My Treehouse is the last episode of LazyTown to air in 2004. From here and the rest of the season you can see a slight increase in quality.
The episode begins with Sportacus timing how long it takes for him to cartwheel and flip into the skutla - approx. 14 seconds. He says that this is too slow for saving people, so he tries again. Twelve seconds. Not much of an upgrade, but it's improvement.
Sportacus visits town to see what the kids are doing, and they're hiding in a treehouse - Ziggy, Stephanie, Trixie & Pixel. They've started a secret treehouse in fear that Stingy will hear about it and try and take it all for himself. He's a young little boy, he can't just take a treehouse.. then he takes the treehouse.
He doesn't go far because Sportacus grabs hold of the rope he's using to steal the treehouse because 'if they don't want me in the club, I'll just take the club!...house'. So they change their minds, not because they want to, because they don't want to piss Stingy off, and let him join the club. Milford is making an announcement on the loud-speakers and Robbie.. is sleeping. Outside. After two episodes of doing the same goddamn thing he hasn't learned his mistake.
Anyways, Milford announces a big treehouse building contest with big 'prizes'. Robbie wakes up and decides to listen to the Mayor. I'd just not join, I'm hopeless with building houses. I can't do it in a video game, what makes me think I can do it in real life? Anyways, he announces that they have to be in teams, the best treehouse in town wins, and they get a HUGE trophy.
Watch the episode yourself to see what it looks like. Might not be as astonishing as you think. Anyways, everyone thinks the trophy is really cool, especially Stingy, who wants it the most. The president has ordered one person to help all teams, and for LazyTown, that person is Sportacus.
Robbie is of course, amazed by the trophy and attempts to steal it, but Bessie yells at him (LOL) and he goes away. The kids start building their treehouse, but Ziggy has a bunch of lollipops in his mouth, and Stingy is too busy looking at the trophy.
Other then that, he is hogging all the supplies for the tree house (does he WANT that trophy?). Well, at least he's working on the treehouse. Bessie is getting Milford to build it for him while she relaxes (this is just ridiculous now) and Milford almost falls and drops all the wood, but Sportacus pushes a wheelbarrow so Milford doesn't fall on the ground.
Robbie is also trying hard for that trophy. He is trying his best to build a treehouse but he has no expierence and hurts himself multiple times in the process (smashing a piece of wood with a hammer, making that piece of wood fling onto him, and hitting his hand with a hammer).
He realizes what a waste of time this is (he should have some kinda invention for this task, but he doesn't think so) and decides to cut the kids tree with an axe. But the axe is rubber and it starts shaking, so he scraps that idea. Then Stingy's hammer flies away and instead of moving away, Robbie covers his head. Luckily, Sportacus is there and he catches the hammer. There are two more minutes remaining and the treehouse looks pretty good, the kids perform Teamwork, and Bessie is reading the headline of Lazy Town News: "LAZYTOWN SPRING IN THE AIR". What a boring newspaper. I genuinely don't know why she's always reading the newspaper in this season.
The time is finally up and what's left to do is to send the photos in to the president and see who wins the day after. Sportacus is the man taking the photos and he's wearing a red cloth on his face. Maybe to divert attention? Or to not get hit by the flames?
Bessie does a closeup to the camera, so you can't even see all the hard work that Milford did. Not to mention the photos are black and white (I'm no color expert, but I am pretty sure color photos existed in 2004), so the painting of the treehouse was useless. And Robbie says 'Cheddar' when Sportacus tells him to say 'Cheese'. LOL!
Despite how terrible his treehouse, Robbie still thinks he will win, and he mails the letter in along with everyone else. Anyways, Stingy can't handle the idea of someone getting given the trophy (jeez, it's like there's the secret to life in this trophy) and he rips up the photo so only him and the treehouse can be seen.
More proof that if Stingy is your favourite character, you're a 'fan' who discovered the show in 2017 after We are Number One and The Mine Song and have only watched 3 episodes. Anyways, the winner 'Stingy' is announced the next day and Robbie is on the verge of crying. He did put in a lot of effort and Stingy did almost nothing.
Everyone is unhappy with Stingy (well, maybe not the Mayor considering he doesn't know what Stingy did until Trixie tells everybody), but he is just happy he got the damn trophy. I respect the grind, but I don't respect lying about it.
He goes to the treehouse with the trophy, and they want answers. He says that it's his treehouse because he 'owns' everything used to build it, excluding Stephanie's flower pot, which he throws out. (What a jerky move) So they leave him alone.
To take Stingy off their minds, they play a game of basketball and some of Pixel's video games while Stingy plays ping pong, rock paper scissors, and chess.. alone. He lures Ziggy into visiting the treehouse (Siggi Sæti from 'Let's Go, LazyTown!' (1997) is background music) with candy which is pretty smart. He says he can have tons of candy if he plays with him, but Ziggy declines so Stingy turns the handle and breaks it.
I like how we can see he feels remorse for his actions but doesn't want to show it. It's good writing. Robbie is watching and he sees the trophy and decides to steal it in the mailbox costume and Stingy eventually decides to leave the treehouse (to go apologize), but he nearly falls off and now he's in trouble.
Stephanie hears his yells and convinces Trixie to save him. What character development! She climbs up the tree and tries to grab his hand, but the trophy distracts her and she almost falls until Stingy grabs her hand.
Robbie finally sees his chance to get the trophy (which is in multiple broken parts, but to each their own) but he falls over a leftover piece of wood, and Sportacus has just came to save the two.
Sportacus has saved the two (hip hip hooray), but Robbie is still lying on the ground in his mailbox, and the treehouse is about to fall on him. Thus comes more proof of the power of Sports Candy.
THAT'S RIGHT. HE HOLDS AN ENTIRE TREE HOUSE UP. Anyways, the gang make up, they sing Bing Bang and Robbie is in the lair with the trophy. He polishes it and takes care of it.. then he falls apart.
THE END.
8/10. Amazing lesson.

Sportafake (prod 108)
BoredJedi (youtube.com/user/LazyBlueHaze) gave me an .iso of the "Superhero" Australian DVD from 2008. To finally put the .iso to use, I decided to take all the screenshots in this episode myself. I also watched it using VLC.
Original airdate: August 24, 2004
Story by Ole Olsen Steen, Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Cole Louie, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Raymond P. Le Gue
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Ronald Binion, Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Amanda Maddock
Sportafake is undeniably one of the most critically acclaimed and recognized episodes of the series. But.. is it really all that Spectacular?
The episode begins with Sportacus flipping around in his airship, fiddling with some of his things, ready to visit the town. He then flips into his pod and then flies straight into town.
Anyways, Milford has agreed to help fix some "odds and ends" around Bessie's house because he just can't say no to her. (S I M P. A L E R T ! ! ! ! ) Milford is however, not experienced in this type of stuff (he can't use a hammer properly..). Bessie replies by saying it's only a couple of things and then gives him a comically large list of things to do, assuming Milford can handle it. I don't think Bessie has ever MET Milford before.
Anyways, Robbie is in his lair sulking about how nobody listens to him. He then starts a heartfelt speech about the topic, and once he's finished he plays a stock applause sound on his speakers (he turns the volume up twice). Man, he needs some friends, but he's so vicious and funny.
So, that aside, the kids have once again completely forgotten what Sportacus has been teaching them FOR SEVEN EPISODES, and they are relaxing in the hot sun. You think it's hot in Iceland? Try experiencing a heatwave in Australia for a week.
Stephanie throws what seems like a very very very very mini hula hoop and asks the kids to play catch. They decline because they are too sweaty and Trixie asks Stephanie to go with the flow. She then attempts to sound like she's at the beach by saying stuff no normal human would say unironically.
So, anyways, Sportacus has come to end this awkwardness (or add some more it seems) by asking the kids what they're up to. Since they seem to be enjoying sitting down and doing nothing, Sportacus does a frontflip and lands in the chair next to Pixel.
However, it seems to just be a prank, and Sportacus says that they can play catch. (Why does nobody wanna be active until Sportacus says so?) Except for Pixel. But it turns out it is just another prank. This scene was cut out from the Discovery Kids and Super Sports Show DVD versions for uh.. y'know, racism?
So, anyways, they all enjoy themselves playing catch while Robbie is spying on them. Robbie assumes that they listen to Sportacus because of his mustache. He has the amazing idea to disguise himself as Sportacus (for some reason the number on the back of Robbie's shirt has a 9 and not a 10.. maybe Robbie was Number 9 and that would explain why he never liked Sportacus).
However, he when he tries to exercise and stuff, he fails miserably. So maybe call him Weakacus. Anyways, back at Bessie's house, Stingy is looking around and claiming random stuff (for example, a FENCE). Once he sees a ladder he says it belongs to his father (now that's just greedy) and takes it. At the same time, Milford is trimming leaves off a tree when a big bee gets in his way and he decides to get off.
Meanwhile, the kids are still playing catch with Sportacus when his crystal beeps, and he promises he won't take long. He climbs up in his airship and as soon as he flies away, coincidentally in comes Robbie. Is it just me, or does Stefan look hilarious with a mustache?
Anyways, Robbie climbs over the wall in his Sportacus costume with a gruff voice. It turns out he swallowed a hairball (one that looks like a ball of fluff from his chair). He coughs it out and throws it and it somehow breaks a glass window. The logic in this show is sometimes just.. non-existent. Also, look at JRM's face in this screenshot!
Anyways, Robbie "plays" catch with the kids, and manages to get all the hoops on his arms before he yells at them to stop playing. Meanwhile, the real Sportacus is out to save Milford, and he catches him once he falls off.
Anyways, with the kids, Robbie has just yelled at them to stop playing and he declares that he wants the kids to start listening to him now. Ziggy obeys saying that they do that all the time.
Anyways, Robbie says that he wants all the kids to eat some bubble gum, and he spouts the excuse that it is good for your jaws. I mean, just at this point you could tell it's not him. And that crystal, obviously made of plastic! Anyways, Pixel says he is joking but Robbie says 'BINGO BONGO YOU ARE WRONGO', the famous quote that was stolen from Steven Universe.
Robbie's crystal 'beeps' and he goes to 'save someone', then he falls over the wall. Ziggy asks what he is doing, Robbie says he is taking a nap and Ziggy BELIEVES IT. Little by little every episode I like his character less and less and less. Stephanie feels something is wrong and she writes about it in her diary. She is afraid to say anything in fear that her friends will laugh at her.
Anyways, Sportacus has just finished saving Milford, and he asks Sportacus to help him with some of the work Bessie wants to do. He accepts to do so right after he saves someone.
It turns out to be Pixel and Trixie shaking Ziggy by the legs for some gum, which might be one of the most idiotic things they have ever done. It's already in his mouth, let him eat it. Anyways, Ziggy spits it out on Sportacus' mouth and he vomits the rest.
Maybe it's better not to show a screenshot of the vomit.. anyways, Sportacus recommends that the kids play basketball. Sportacus' crystal beeps and he goes to Bessie's house. The fence wood has fell off, but Sportacus puts it back up in a jiffy. Then he goes to his airship, and they perform 'No one's Lazy in LazyTown' ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE BEST LAZYTOWN SONGS IN THE WORLD. The song ends when Robbie yells at them with a pile of junk food. Burgers, fries, pizza, popcor and chocolate. Stephanie wants to complain about it but Trixie stops her. They want to eat that food (and I don't blame them!).
Meanwhile, Robbie is at Bessie's house and he throws the fence wood away. To Bessie who has her eyes closed, it sounds like Milford is fixing it. Meanwhile, the REAL Sportacus is bringing them some Sportscandy, but they're too full to eat. After all, they ate all of Robbie's junkfood.
Anyways, Robbie is looking at the kids and he is filled with joy. Sportacus is confused. Stephanie goes over to Milford's house to talk to him about the whole situation. Milford's advice is to speak up about the situation, and ironically, Bessie yells his name and he runs right to her.
Anyways, while Milford is running to her, Bessie's drink spills all over her dress. In comes Sportacus, and he says his work is just beginning. Then Robbie says HIS work is done. BAM! They walk into each other. Then they start testing each other to see if they will do the same things.
Anyways, Milford has now arrived at the scene, and even after the real Sportacus does his power jump, they still think that a race is the right way to declare who's who. Sometimes I wonder why I watch this show, but then I realize if the LazyTown kids were smarter that would make for a really boring short episode. While Milford is at the end of the race track, Stingy is carrying a ladder and he says it is his. Milford agrees.
So, anyways, the race starts and Sportacus is bound to be the winner until his crystal beeps. So anyways, Bessie is standing in a wagon while Stingy accidentally hits her with it and the wagon goes rolling. Sportacus loses the race to save Bessie.
So, anyways, everyone believes Robbie is the winner, Sportacus must leave the town and that he is Sportacus until Stephanie speaks up and pulls off his mustache. Sportacus is glad Stephanie spoke up. Bessie is glad Milford helped her with some housework and almost kisses him, then they perform Bing Bang.
Robbie is in his lair on his fluffy chair, sitting down, and sleeping. Thus marks the end of the episode.
THIS EPISODE IS A LITERAL TREASURE TO THIS WORLD.
10/10 NO FURTHER EXPLANATION1111!!!!1111!11!!!1

Happy Brush Day (prod 110)
BoredJedi (youtube.com/user/LazyBlueHaze) gave me an .iso of the “Superhero” Australian DVD from 2008. To finally put the .iso to use, I decided to take all the screenshots in this episode myself. I also watched it using VLC.
Original airdate: August 25, 2004
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Cole Louie, Mo Williem, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Ronald Binion, Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Amanda Maddock
Happy Brush Day is the first of two episodes focusing on Ziggy's birthday (not to mention the spinoff where he is the main star), so I guess the producers finally realized that Ziggy has some story potential.
The episode begins with some foreshadowing - Sportacus brushing his teeth in his airship. I call this foreshadowing because the episode is about brushing your teeth (kinda). Anyways, the citizens in LazyTown have just woken up happily (excluding Robbie who hilariously uses packing peanuts to drown the noise of his alarm).
Stingy is admiring his collection of four toothbrushes (Is it really necessary to own more than one toothbrush..??). Pixel is using one of his gadgets to brush his teeth (later on in the episode he has completely forgotten what it is) and Stingy keeps his in a lock. Meanwhile, Ziggy is still asleep using his lollipop as a cushion.
Anyways, Robbie is eating his scrumdiddlyumptious creamy cake (My god, I just want a bite of that), and Pixel walks over to Ziggy's to tell him it's his seventh birthday. This just aggravates me, WHO NEEDS TO BE WOKEN UP ON THEIR BIRTHDAY?! My birthday is in one of those 2 week school breaks, and in one of those days you couldn't blow a horn to get me to wake up before 11am. But on my birthday I wake up at 7am with no problem. Anyways, Ziggy is mailing a letter to Sportacus while eating taffy.
Anyways, when Ziggy mentions his birthday, Robbie spits out his cake. He has another devious plan. In my opinion, I never really liked the idea of ruining Ziggy's birthday. His plan was to make a machine that spewed taffy all over the place. 1 - Ziggy loves taffy. 2 - It's his birthday. 3 - Ziggy loves taffy. Meanwhile, the kids are deciding what to get him for his birthday.
Anyways, when Stingy mentions all he wants is taffy every year, he pops up looking for taffy. Now, forgive me, since Taffy was invented in the US, but, it is really that good??
Also, if you didn't notice (SOMEONE must have noticed), the background music for when he walks out the shot is a reprise of 'Siggi' from Afram Latibaer. Anyways, Robbie does his classic disguise time (I think this is the funniest of the first season).
Robbie decides that to accompany his outfit (that looks like something a fairy from a 2000s 3D animated straight-to-VHS movie classified "G" by the Australian Classification Board would wear) with a gift. Off camera he thinks up the perfect thing. Meanwhile, Sportacus has gotten Ziggy's letter, which is one of those cards that plays an undeniably catchy tune when you open it.
Sportacus is having some trouble deciding what to give Ziggy as a gift (his first two choices being balls). Anyways, the camera cuts off to Milford putting up the birthday stage for Ziggy. Everyone is excited for the party until Bessie comes with her birthday speech for little 'Wiggie', then everyone is seriously dreading it. (judging from a transcription Chris Crow made on the GL forums, Bessie possibly just wrote down random words on a piece of paper and lied to herself.)
Anyways, after a bit of begging, Milford is convinced to start the party with the presents. Very surprisingly, Stingy decides to go first. His gift is a quarter-bitten piece of taffy. A single one. You can see from the box there were supposed to be nine pieces.
Anyways, Stingy takes back the box & the lid. I don't know why it's so funny. "Happy birthday, here's my gift, gimme the packaging." So anyways, Trixie goes next, and HER gift is a jack in the box. (If I was Ziggy, personally I wouldn't take that kinda disrespect.) So anyways, Pixel gives him his gift which is in an envelope. Ziggy is thankful enough for the envelope (what a pure soul), until Pixel tells him to OPEN the envelope.
In the envelope is a piece of paper that reads "www.taffy.com" (it's a real website and is still up to this day, it's just not related to LazyTown at all). It turns out to be a website Pixel has made consisting of "jpegs of every taffy ever made!" I get this was written in 2004, but why JPEGS? PNG for the wiiiin!! (I'd geniunely enjoy that gift, but maybe with something else like LazyTown screenshots or old 80s action movie posters.)
So, anyways, Ziggy wants to eat the taffy and is kinda annoyed when Pixel says it isn't possible. Anyways, when Bessie announces she has added five more extra minutes to her speech, Milford gives HIS gift, which is a huge square of taffy flavoured taffy.
Stephanie's gift is her very own choreographed 'Taffy Cheer!' and everyone likes it so much Ziggy even says he could taste the victory taffy. Coming from a boy whose whole diet consists of candy, that is the highest compliment you can receive.
Anyways, Sportacus does a frontflip into the scene right about when Bessie is about to start her speech. (Is it just me or do the events if this show have TOO many coincidences some times?)
Sportacus is hyping his gift up very much. Ziggy guesses a truckload of different candies twice, but Sportacus does an amazing flip (he doesn't have the box in his hand in this shot), lands on his feet and shows Ziggy the toothbrush (now he is holding the toothbrush but there is no box to be seen?).
Anyways, everyone has some questions. Pixel wants to know where the remote control is and if you have to plug it in. Eventually he searches it up in his database, but Ziggy still has no idea what it is. Then he reveals that he keeps some of his favourite foods in his food. Everyone is disgusted. Including me.
Anyways, they sing a whole two minute (recommended length for brushing your teeth) song about brushing your teeth the Twenty Times way. After it's finished, Ziggy shows more interest in brushing his teeth until The Birthday Fairy (a disguised Robbie) shows up. Trixie makes fun of him, indirectly insulting Stephanie (you're girlier then she is, and that is saying a lot!)
Anyways, Robbie (or Pixel) introduces his (honestly really cool) gift, the Electro Ultra Voice Activated Candy Matic! Robbie then reveals that Ziggy and only Ziggy can tell it what to do which is a pretty dumb thing. What if Ziggy falls asleep and while he does he says that his friends can have some of his taffy?
Anyways, Ziggy throws Sportacus' gift on the floor, and I'm surprised Sportacus didn't get mad. You know how bratty you have to be to throw your birthday gift away in front of the gifter? Anyways, Ziggy calls for taffy a bunch of times and he catches most of it in his mouth. Stingy is kinda annoyed.
Or as the subtitles say.. (SEETHING WITH RAGE). Anyways, Stingy climbs right up to the thing and yells TAFFY as loud as he can. Then his face gets splattered. Robbie, the liar! Anyways, while nobody is looking, Robbie deviously puts the level of taffy up to 'red', and taffy starts flying all over the place.. really fast! However, Ziggy can't yell 'stop' because his mouth is full of yellow taffy.
Anyways, it's not long before the stage becomes a sea of taffy, Sportacus goes up to his airship to get some sports equipment to stop the machine and Robbie's advice is to just eat the candy. Milford announces it and everyone starts eating.
Anyways, Robbie quickly gets tired of the taffy and he decides to go back to his car, but unfortunately he cannot drive away. Totally your fault, dude. You started this by putting it on RED. Anyways, his car is basically underwater, except the taffy is the water.
Meanwhile, Sportacus is in his airship, carrying some tennis rackets in his shirt (some of the frames are slowed down, possibly to meet the 24:42 time limit or just look cooler), and the taffy is up to the chins of the puppets. So Bessie grabs onto the birthday banner (in real life that would've just ripped off). Anyways, Sportacus has arrived and he starts hitting every single piece of taffy that comes his way, and for a few seconds the machine stops working.
Sportacus puts on his goggles (it's taffy, not salty ass water) and he dives in to find Ziggy's toothbrush. He doesn't move for a few seconds and everyone thinks he's dead (I don't blame them) until he pops up with the toothbrush!
Stingy throws the toothbrush to Ziggy and he brushes his teeth the Twenty Times way. Finally, he gets the taffy out his mouth and yells STOP!!!
Finally! (: Anyways, Robbie puts his arm through the door and waves it out frantically so Sportacus notices him. Sportacus pulls off his hat and everybody realizes that it was Robbie all along!
Anyways, they sing the Bing Bang song while Bessie does her speech. Now this is the part I don't like because it just scraps what Bessie and the kids said earlier in the episode - the speech goes on and on and on (and this year she added five more minutes), but the Bing Bang song is only 53 seconds and somehow she finishes her speech in the span of the whole Bing Bang song. Anyways, good episode.
THE END.
So kids, what did we learn in this episode of LazyTown? Brush your teeth every day and night or a bunch of taffy will come flying out of nowhere and nearly drown you.

Friends Forever (prod 218)
Original airdate: February 16, 2007
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Mani Svavarrson, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Jonathan Judge
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion, Emily Decola, Mary Robinette Kowal
Friends Forever is probably one of the most heart-warming episodes of the series and would've fitted better as a finale then Toys.
YouTube keeps annoying me thanks to V3, so beware 480p screenshots from a (luckily, widescreen) DVD rip from the 2000s.
It's a new day in LazyTown, and that means a new move for Sportacus. But this day calls for a harder move - pushup twist. He decides to attempt it, and he succeeds!
I swear, if you cannot guess how he was able to do it- THE CLUE IS IN THE IMAGE!! Well, if you can't, you weird, bruh. Anyways, in the new Sports Park, Stephanie is finishing off her painting of the sign. She yells for her friends to check it out.
She tells them what it is, all the kids are literally standing right in front of it and yet Pixel still needs his binoculars. But, it's reasonable as he's actually looking at all the games. Ziggy questions her setting up the field, and she says she did, of course, since they're friends forever. They all put their hands together, and on 3 and yell 'FRIENDS FOREVER!' Stephanie decides to show them all the games - Hit the Can.
Swinging it around like a cowboy, Stephanie gets a score of 50! Ziggy yells out 'This is so cool!', startling Robbie who's having a power nap. So he goes to check out what's happening, and currently, Stephanie is attempting to do the power slammer.
But it is way too heavy and she is toppling over. And here comes what might be the most epic rescue of season two - Sportacus does a few flippity floppities to the sport park, swings into a cool handstand to LIFT the paint off the wagon, and kicks it back so Stephanie lands safely.
Sportacus lifts the hammer to see how heavy it was, and it really was heavy. So he decides to give them Sportscandy as they might need it later. Foreshadowing. Stephanie tells Sportacus this is their Sports Park, Stingy says it's his, Pixel says it's THEIRS, and they go back and fourth until Stingy brings out his menacingly deep voice. XD. Jodi is HILARIOUS! Stephanie shows him the Sports Park & one game captivates him most - Hand Walker. He tries it, of course, and he does it! Ziggy is pretty scared. Stephanie explains you go handle to handle with your hands only.
Once he finishes, Stephanie tells the kids about her idea of a contest and Stingy wants to win without even knowing the prize - which is a ticket to Sportacus' airship. Sportacus leaves after wishing them all good luck. Meanwhile, Robbie is for some reason blowing a blue balloon (again, for some reason), when he overhears Trixie wanting to go to the Sportship and questioning who'd want that.
Midway through - he gets an idea to go out there and let ALL the air out and he does a slightly useless demonstration with the balloon that sends it flying. It's disguise time and he disguises himself as a daredevil. The kids perform 'New Games Everyday'. At the end of the songs, the kids say they're having so much fun and nothing could be better then this. Here comes Robbie with his shaky cup.
Like with Stephanie, there's a contest - but this time is for whoever stays in the longest. Who does so gets a ticket to Sportacus' airship. Steph says she has one like that (but yours is REAL! Look at his excessively purple card.), and Robbie says he has ten. The kids get in the shaking cup, Stephanie asks 'Friends Forever??' but she is ignored.
She decides to sit on a bench. Sadly. And she takes off the photo of her and her friends. Meanwhile, Sportacus has left his ladder out, meaning Robbie can easily enter the airship. He throws away the fake tickets and keeps the real one, which I dislike, since there is no explanation for how he obtained it. Anyways, he climbs the ladder to the airship, and Sportacus flips over to him.
He asks who he is, and Robbie replies with 'a lucky winner'. He was reasonably expecting one of the kids, and Robbie shows him the ticket for proof. Now Sportacus is happy to have him. Robbie asks for soda, and he pulls out WATER.
Even funnier when Robbie literally gags, implying he has never drank water before and enjoyed it, meaning he doesn't drink it 99% of the time, but you need water to live.. Anyways, he asks for chocolate, and Sportacus pulls out an APPLE.
So he has the most healthy things you could ever consume. He even takes a tiny sip of water to be nice. Not very rotten in my eyes! Robbie asks him how he keeps the airship.. well.. in the air, and he pumps it up with air by jumping on this cool thing.
I thought it was one of the greatest parts of his airship when I was younger for some reasons - it's bouncy and he flips off it. Then he asks how he lets the air OUT - by pulling a lever.
Meanwhile in the shaking cup, the kids are getting dizzy and Stingy is upside down (LOL), and Stephanie is reluctant to save the kids - but she remembers their promise - FRIENDS FOREVER! Pixel tells her to turn it off by using the lever, but it falls off! In the airship, Robbie asks if there is anyone to save. Sportacus says the citizens of LazyTown are all safe, and they go back and forth and stay awkwardly and the crystal beeps & Robbie says 'YES' when Sportacus says someone is in trouble. LOL.
So he leaves Robbie to go look at the kids with the telescope. He leaves Robbie. Alone. In the airship. Unsupervised. Where he could easily release air from the airship.
Sportacus falls but he grabs on to something. Robbie decides to jump for it but the parachute doesn't work like it should've and he's just stuck hanging there. Literally.
Lolz. Meanwhile, Stephanie is rescuing the kids in a super duper cool way - using the HAND WALKER! She gets all the kids out one by one, telling them to grab her legs.
Sportacus loses grip of his telescope, and the kids notice it drop and they see Robbie and Sportacus in the air. They devise a cool plan to save him - Ziggy swings the can hitter and Sportacus grabs it, tying it to the airship door. Even more daring then Robbie, he JUMPS OFF whatever he was holding onto and tries to enter the airship by climbing the rope.
But one side of it unties, and Sportacus is left dangling in the air. Swinging from the left (take it back, now y'all, one hop this time, right foot, let's stomp..) to the right!
He attempts to climb up but is not nearly as strong to. Stephanie remembers that Sportacus gave her some spare Sports Candy. They devise a plan to get it to him by using the Power Slammer - they put it on the lower side of the thing you're supposed to hit. Stephanie hits it as hard as she possibly can, and it flies in the air and Sportacus swiftly catches it and bites it ONCE.
And whatcha know, he's strong enough to climb up the rope and Enter The Airship (the greatest Magnus Scheving movie of them all..). The airship is gonna crash as the air supply is becoming lower and lower, and luckily Sportacus jumps into the airship and he cranks the lever as hard as he can.
Robbie is sooo clooosee to getting the pole in the town hall stuck up his posterior, but luckily, he has cranked the lever enough and it doesn't crash. So it goes back to being an airship, he jumps on the bubble a few times. He then drives the airship back in the air.
Robbie's glad he made it out safe and happy - but not for long! The useless parachute has ripped off the door, and he falls thousands of feet.. and lands in the shaking cup. How realistic.
Sportacus attempts to tip Robbie out of the shaking cup but it is way too shaky, so he grabs the lever and fixes it. It is finally revealed it's Robbie, and he fibs about the shaking cup being fun. So Stephanie shakes it a bit more.
Sportacus thanks the kids for saving him, they do the 'shout-123' thingy and perform Bing Bang! During the song, in an attempt to go back to the lair, Robbie gets stuck to the ceiling.
Cheap parachute.
10/10 - Moral: Never turn back on your friends. Amazing rescues too.

The LazyTown Circus (prod 203)
Original airdate: February 12, 2007
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion, Emily Decola, Mary Robinette Kowal
In this episode, a song that starts off wonderfully and ends terribly is played, and Stephanie dresses up in her most horrendous costume in the entirety of the 100+ episodes produced (including the campaigns, Extra, Sproutlet Show).
Sportacus is playing with a Yoyo in the airship. He wraps the string around his water bottle and pulls it to him. While drinking, the crystal beeps. He goes outside to see what it is, and it's a fly stuck in a mailbox. WOW. JUST. WOW. Using the yoyo, he gets it out.
Look at that 3D effect. In 2013, three episodes from the then-new season were played in cinemas. Imagine if this was one of them and it was in 3D! Anyways, he wraps the yoyo around the mailbox handle and pulls up the yoyo, opening the mailbox and freeing the fly. The main episode starts with Trixie dialogue, my second-least favourite character so it's getting off to a bad start. She's doing a high-wire (that isn't that high), and once she finishes, it's Ziggy's turn. Can you predict what happens next? Yep, right. Robbie decides to eavesdrop (after playing two of his piano keys, for someone reason one makes a moo noise, so that was funny)..
Ziggy gets scaareeed.. beep beep beep. Sportacus attaches a hook to his belt buckle, and jumps out the airship. Supa. Kewl. Mainly because he's 3D animated in one of the shots & he doesn't even hit the ground.
Anyways, Ziggy's still being a whiny scaredy-cat, he's not even halfway through the walk, and Robbie is literally CHUCKLING. I don't blame him, either. Sportacus flips over to him, and he gives a 'u serious right neow bro' face to Ziggy, then he smiles and taps his shoulder. He lifts him off. Ziggy tells him he knew he wasn't that high up but he was still scared, and he gives him some good advice - try to be a little brave. Once he leaves, it's Stephanie's turn and she says that it's too low for her. Trixie says she's never been on a real one before, Steph says she has (she says they're as high up as TREES).
Ziggy believes her and even asks for her to help him and Trixie with the high walk and to do other cool stunts, and the idea comes for them to start a THE LAZYTOWN CIRCUS (lol episode name in episode review hehe) with animals, cotton candy (Guess who said that? They both said no), music, stunts, & cotton candy (Oh my god, Ziggy. SHUT. UP). When they leave, she decides to try the high walk.
Meanwhile, Stingy & Pixel are being epic gaemers!!11!! when Trixie comes in and tells them everything, including that they need animals. Stingy comes with actually funny dialogue - 'Pick Pixel! He's been eating cheesy garlic Crunch-O's all day and he smells like elephant feet! (Pixel breathes in his face) Urgh, call animal control, something's died in Pixel's mouth!'
Out of all the screenshots I've took for this review, this is my ultimate favourite. So after some more funny dialogue and an angry Trixie moment, we go back to Stephanie attempting the high walk once more, but she herself is scared.
When she sees Ziggy running to her, he puts the pole higher then it originally was. Ziggy runs to Stephanie with a clown nose on and tells her he is a clown. Red nose or not, he is a HUGE CLOWN. He falls (??????) Robbie laughs. He stands up, questions how high the pole is and tells Stephanie she's his hero. So screw the dude who saves you everyday & tells you how to live a healthy life. When Robbie overhears Ziggy's excitement about starting a circus, he attempts to think up a plan to stop it, but he can't think of anything. The end. Until, he starts whining about the annoying things of circuses and talks about cannons - then he devises a plan to shoot Sportacus out of one.
Ziggy sends Sportacus a letter asking if he'll do some circus stunts. He decides a few moves to do - the first one being this one where he throws a tennis racket from arm to arm, throws a ball in the air, AND HOLDS THE RACKET WITH ONE FINGER, AS WELL AS THE BALL. Then he throws a glass plate onto there as well.
And here comes a somewhat funny Disguise Time - Robbie chooses the ringmaster outfit and a light shines on him like he's actually in a circus.
He introduces himself as Roberto The Great, funny dialogue, etc. He ends his speech with 'LET'S START THE SHOW!' Anyways, for once, they do something with the Mayor's approval. They tell him about the circus. When Trixie says Steph's doing the high walk, she says Sportacus might do it. The animals Stingy and Pixel introduce themselves with obnoxious noises. LAZYTOWN FURRY PROPAGANDA AT 3AM NOT CLICKBAIT MUST WATCH 4K ULTRA HD. Anyways, Sportacus flips in and handstands, saying he is ready for circus stunts.
Milford starts saying a bunch of stuff they need for the circus, and Trixie tells him they already have most of the stuff he's talking about. Sportacus says they just need a ringmaster, and they get a ringmaster.
Roberto instructs them to follow him, and somehow, the LazyTown circus has just.. gotten there. Did he buy it like in Mystery of the Pyramid? Did he build it? Was it already there? They all follow him and go inside the circus.
They look for a few seconds until Robbie tells them to get prepared. Then we cut to Bessie and Milford for like five seconds after they bump into each other and Milford tells her he's got the tickets. Well, that was kinda useless. Anyways, Pixel is the head of a zebra.. horse thingy & Stingy is the tail which he complains about. They compromise to take turns. Then Pixel burps and Stingy runs out for air. I don't get why this is slightly funny but it is. Everyone is in their costumes, Milford & Bessie have arrived, and it's Time to Start The Show! (During the video, Steph plays the sax and spit comes out. Yuck.)
After taking the screenshot, I realized that is not the case.. *facepalm*, Trixie made it look like that with her water flower. After the song, Roberto tells Sportacus his very important role - to go into the cannon and fly into the 'very safe' net. He agrees once Roberto says the kids would love it. So he handstands his way to the cannon.
Before he gets in, Roberto tells him to put on his goggles (don't want anybody gettin hurt). He also tells him to cover his ears so he doesn't hear anything, and it works. Anyways, it's time for the high wire and Stephanie's too scared to. Roberto gets Ziggy and Trixie out of the way and tells them to stay there, pulling a lever that traps them in a net. He pulls up the net so they're just hanging in the air. Stephanie yells 'Oh no!' and Roberto overhears her.
Roberto chases Stephanie for a while, bringing up the question - what would he do if he caught her? Anyways, she climbs up the ladder, and Roberto drops the ladder so she can't get down. Milford and Bessie are idiots who think this is all staged. Stephanie attempts to get to them, but she can't, and she reveals she was lying. Took her long enough! Ziggy says she just has to be brave, and what ya know? She does it!!
lolwut. The crystal beeps, which Robbie thinks is the perfect time to launch Sportacus out. Sportacus swings onto this swingy thingy with his hands, and flips so now he's holding onto it with his legs. When Steph loses grip, he catches her.
Stephanie does an astonishing backflip onto the ground, then ANOTHER one after she lands. Sportacus does one only. But then again, he's Sportacus. He gets Ziggy & Trixie down, and the horse/zebra finally decides to make an appearance. Roberto says it's the perfect getaway and uses it as one, but Stingy & Pixel can't handle his weight, so they topple him over and he falls into a drum.
Notice the season one prop in the screencap. His hat falls off, and everyone finds out it's Robbie. Then he tells the kids to not try this at home (LOL). Stephanie apologizes to them for lying about her bravery, but they say she was brave enough to be truthful & actually go on the high wire. Ziggy is still sad they didn't get to see anyone on the high wire. So Sportacus goes on the high wire, and he's so daring he does FLIPS on the wire!
Then they perform the circus version of Bing Bang, which is pretty bad if I may say. In the lair, Robbie says that he was so close and he'll get Sportacus soon. He tries sitting down, but he can't, ya know, considering he has a drum on his posterior.
7/10 - Revisiting it, I liked it more. It was the song & costumes that put me off.

The LazyTown Snow Monster (prod 210)
Original airdate: December 15, 2006
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Magnus Scheving, Mani Svavarrson, Noah Zachary
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess, Ronald Binion
Review of a Christmas special - valid because Christmas in July!
Sportacus is in his airship and he's playing with a katana. Oh, go ahead and motivate kids to play with sharp things, okay. He throws a strawberry in the air and catches it with his katana. Same with a grape, a lemon, another strawberry, and a blueberry. He decides to unlock/open the door, AND HE THROWS THE KATANA OUT.
Then, he gets out a hook to bring the katana back up. The fruits are all in ice cubes, and he puts them all in a bowl. He calls them 'Sportscandy Ice Cubes' and puts them in a glass of water, and takes a sip.
I should probably point out he calls them cool. I really hope that pun was intended. It's a lovely snowy day in LazyTown, and Milford seems to be looking for something when Stephanie comes in. Stephanie questions the smell ('Welcome to LazyTown' reference?), and it's Milford's bait for catching fish. He tells Stephanie he can't find his fishing hat. Whaddya know, he was WEARING IT. But Stephanie is looking for something of her own.
It turns out to be a costume. The kids have been playing Catch the Snow Monster and Stephanie is the snow monster this time, so she needs a fluffy, scary, tremendously horrifying. What do you know, Milford's wearing it. So they do a hat swap.
Stephanie looks ridiculous. Milford thinks he looks pretty. Self-love crosses into delusion, but OK. So the kids are playing Snow Monster on the field, when Steph sees Ziggy on the court, scanning in front of him for her. Then she scares him and he dives for some reason. Pixel has a device to catch her. (Why does he wanna catch his crush..?) And Trixie's going old-school, using a net (that she just found). And Stingy asks when it's his turn to be the Snow Monster. Meanwhile, Milford is fishing.
He thinks he found a fish but he goddamn well knows he didn't. The kids are still playing Snow Monster when Stingy's whining about being it wakes up Robbie. He questions why they're playing outside in winter (If I was them, I'd be drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows next to the heater, watching a movie.. ah... these Americans, so lucky with their snow. IT'S WINTER WHILE I'M WATCHING THIS AND IT'S NOT EVEN COLD!!). He decides to check out what they're doing, and he sees the Snow Monster Steph, and RUNS AWAY while dabbing.
Stefan Karl brought so much life to Robbie Rotten. Then he realizes snow monsters aren't real and reluctantly goes back to the periscope. He realizes it's just the silly kids. THEN he feels something coming. It's either a brilliant idea or his periscope hitting him in the back of the head.
Double dipper. Coincidentally and conveniently, Robbie literally already has a SNOW MONSTER COSTUME. Meanwhile while Milford is fishing, the ice starts to crack and instead of getting out of there he watches as it breaks. Or maybe he's waiting for Sportacus to save him, because the crystal beeps and he does exactly that. He drives the skutla over Milford and tells him to tie his fishing rope to the Skutla's wing thingy. And Sportacus turns over the skutla and drops Milford in a pile of snow. He pulls over in the air, puts on his scarf and checks on Milford.
It turns out he didn't know how dangerous frozen lakes were because he didn't see Macaulay Culkin in 'The Good Son'. Sportacus tells him abut the danger of frozen lakes, then goes back to his airship. Milford puts up a sign. Back at the lair is a fourth-wall break, and I hate fourth wall breaks mostly because most kids shows have annoying characters talking to the camera and LazyTown wasn't the type of show for that and it never should've did that, and they didn't! Well, with some promos and LazyTown Extra as an exception. Anyways, Robbie was fourth-wall breaking in the worst way - talking to the camera.
Robbie puts on the costume FINALLY. This disguise time doesn't rhyme unfortunately, it's just weather descriptions 'too rainy, too sunny..' Anyways, when he discovers it works he is extremely happy. It's Stingy's turn to be the Snow Monster, and he says no-one can catch him. Then someone catches him.
Too soon. Sportacus flippity flops into the game to see what they're doing and they explain everything to him. Stephanie asks him what his favourite thing to do as a kid in the snow was, and he says it was building a snowman. They do so while performing 'Snow, Give Me Snow'. Then once they finish he goes back to the airship. Anyways, for some reason Pixel thinks they need some tunes so he goes to get his solar-powered boombox which is stupid because it's SNOWING. Anyways, the kids go in the fort, thus bringing us some funny dialogue. Ziggy says he wishes he could have a fort all year long, Trixie says it'd melt and become water, Ziggy says he'd just make it a water fort and Stingy says it would melt. While they're all having fun, the party diarrhea-er Robbie comes out the shell.
As he falls down climbing over the wall, the kids hear him and wonder what it is. Stephanie goes outside to check what it was and she sees a 'The LazyTown Snow Monster' as she said at the beginning of the episode. Robbie says that was great after Stephanie hides in the igloo. Trixie wants to catch the Snow Monster, but Stingy says they need a bigger net. Then Stephanie decides a way to stop a SNOW monster is by throwing SNOWballs at him. ???? They think it's a good plan but the Snow Monster falls off the chair (I genuinely chuckled) so they can't put it in action.
Meanwhile, Milford is on the field and he sees the igloo and decides to check it out. But the kids have their snowballs in their hands at they aim at the guy who runs the town. It takes them SIX SECONDS to figure out it's not a snow monster.
He tells them that there is nothing to be scared of and they should come out. He tells them if there was a real snow monster there would be footprints. And the footprints he are talking about pop up TWICE. Then Milford has a nice surprise. He just needs to turn around. Which he does. And he screams. And he runs into his house and so do all the kids. Trixie decides to look out the window for the monster, Milford decides to lock the doors and Ziggy decides to run to Milford asking how much candy he has because apparently 'we need supplies until summer'.
Anyways, Stephanie devises a plan (Julianna's acting is AMAZING in this episode.) - Ziggy wears the extremely terrifying white hat & jumps onto Milford's back. Stephanie covers them with a white sheet. This is supposed to apparently scare the Snow Monster away.
Then they go outside, struggling to move. Trixie & Stingy are doubting the plan. And the two falling is the LAST STRAW for Trixie so she decides to go outside. Stingy asks to have her toys if she gets eaten. If I was Steph, I'd smack him. Anyways, when Robbie sees Trixie he starts to hide. When Trixie's close to him, he keeps on moving and falling down so that she can't find him. So if Trixie follows the sound he won't even be there, until Robbie decides to lie down until she comes. When she finds him she isn't so brave anymore.
She runs and hides behind a tree. Meanwhile, at Milford's house, Stephanie and Stingy are convinced they're fine. Trixie is still hiding and Ziggy/Milford are still trying to scare away Robbie. Robbie is scared of them. They are scared of Robbie. Pixel has finally got the boombox (weren't you away for like ten minutes? slowpoke) but he doesn't know where they are. So while he is looking around he spots the Snow Monster behind him. Meanwhile, Trixie has literally CLIMBED THE TREE BRANCH and it's about to fall.
Sportacus' crystal beeps, and it's seemed to be taking him the whole episode to get back to the airship. Anyways, he sees Milford and Ziggy and says 'A snow monster scaring the kids away! This is serious.' He flips his way over to Trixie. As he jumps over a wall, he calls for a snowboard and skis over to Trixie, catching her after she falls.
Trixie notices and tells Sportacus the snow monster is getting away, so he decides to throw a snowball at the sign, whacking Milford's gyatt (why did I type this), and he falls over. Sportacus unveils the snow monster. Trixie tells him that's not the snow monster he saw, and then Robbie shows up.
Robbie runs into the frozen lake and falls in. He grabs onto the sign and Sportacus gets the skutla. He attaches the hook to the sign and lifts him up. He drops him right outside Milford's house, where the head of the disguise falls off, and everyone knows it's him. His response? He admits it's cold, and he goes back to the lair. They sing Bing Bang. Back in the lair, Robbie is so cold, he's covering himself with two towels, putting one of those squishy bottles you put warm water on on his head, and his feet in BOILED WATER. He notices there's a fish inside his shirt somehow and takes it out.
7.5/10 - It was better then the last Christmas special and acting was good.

Remote Control (prod 121)
Original airdate: August 2, 2005
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Cole Louie, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Magnus Scheving, Raymond P. Le Gue
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Ronald Binion, Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Sarah Burgess
There was a time in history where this was my favourite episode of the show. It was also my mother's. No, I totally wasn't agreeing with her just because she is my mom, hehehe!!!! There was ALSO a time where I made a crappy YTP of this episode, but we will get into that latur (or never!!).
So, anyways, the episode begins with, whaddya know, a recycled cold open. This is the fourth time in Season 1 I've seen this cold open. Frankly it's just getting annoying. It's not even worth noting.
Stephanie runs into Milford's house telling him that she is gonna play football with her friends, and she is eating breakfast while Milford is talking about how he was so good at football, they called him Maddog Meanswell. Classic 'cooler-when-younger' trope in almost every show I've watched. Stephanie is drinking some orange juice (the new Badland Chugs??!!).
Then she exits so fast we barely see her. To practice, she throws a ball around and is running, and Robbie is watching her in disgust. Sportacus is of course, cartwheeling around town and sees her, to his excitement.
Just look at this dude. How can't you like him? So, Sportacus flippity flops over to her, and she asks if he can teach him to play football. And Robbie gasps and gags.. in a reused shot.. from the first ever episode they filmed of the show "Sports Day".. what is going on?
This. Is. Not. What. They. Meant. By. Recycling. Reusing. Or. Reducing. So, Stephanie goes to get Ziggy and Pixel. They run over to him, and Pixel trips over his shoelaces. And Stephanie.. is annoyed. "Oh, you just fell flat on your face? Don't care, blue kangaroo wants to play sports with us." What a kind soul!
Sportacus explains how to play and Pixel has to run for the touchdown. When they start the game, it's going well until Pixel trips AGAIN. So the ball flies and hits Robbie's spying thing and he falls over the railing. XD LOL ROFL!!!!
So, it seems that in the span of .. however long that was, Pixel totally disappeared and went home.. and he suddenly has a shoe-tying gadget. The guy has a HOARD of electronic devices. He could've just searched up a video on how to tie them with your hands. This is 2004. (And YouTube was made in 2005, but you get my point..)
Then he returns, telling them he had to go tie his shoes. They say he could have done that on the field, but he says he'd have to bring his Shoe Tier 6000. Dude, I don't think this is the 6000th shoe tier you've made.. So they all leave Sportacus (the jerks!) without telling him (the even bigger jerks) all alone. But I don't think he really cared.
Meanwhile, Robbie is in his lair, demonstrating how much useless sports there are, basketball, baseball, football, and he cracks his posterior and arm bones in the process. Robbie wishes there was a way to control Sportacus. 4SHADOEEENGGUHHH!!
Everyone is impressed by his gagdet until Stephanie speaks up and says that it'd be easier to just learn how to tie them. But it wouldn't. But, then again, you'd have to bring it everywhere if your shoes untied. So she has a point. Pixel says that he doesn't have to memorize it this way because he already has a machine that does it for him, then he brings up the RIDICULOUS, STUPID idea to make a machine that does everything for him.
Stephanie doesn't like the idea, but the one time Lover Boy doesn't listen to Stephanie JUST has to be this one. So they perform Gizmo Guy, a new, updated down- I mean UPgrade from Easy Way, which was rejected by Nickelodeon because of the word 'thingy'.. sometimes.. I just don't even know. I think it'd have been cool if Easy Way was in 117 and Gizmo Guy stayed in this episode, like they did with 'No one's Lazy' & 'Take a Vacation'. By the end of the song, Pixel has finished crafting the one and only Remote Controller 6000.
This time the Remote Controller 6000 can tie your shoes (oh, so solution, use the remote control because it's more lightweight!), untie your shoes, reverse, turn off all TVs, turn ON all TVs, freeze, do your homework, basically anything! Ziggy drops the lollipop on the floor, and Pixel rewinds it. They do the trick another time.. and Ziggy LICKS the lollipop the second time, because of the three second rule. MY GUY, THAT WAS NOT THREE SECONDS. Even Steph is disgusted.
But she kinda looks like a vampire in the above screenshot for some reason. So, Stephanie decides to go tell Sportacus the news of Pixel's invention.. then runs away because the remote control is gonna do her homework. But Sportacus is doing some practice and warmups. So the gang are hanging out, and the remote control does Stephanie's homework in 4 seconds. HOMEWORK IN FOUR SECONDS WOULD BE HEAVENLY.
For a while, Pixel is totally obsessed with his remote control, and he even plays football, baseball and basketball using it. But Stephanie and Ziggy get bored. In fact, Steph is so bored she starts checking her nails. You have to be the most bored person on the universe to do that unironically.
So, they get mad at Pixel, and they go away to do something like a real game until Ziggy starts yapping. AND PIXEL TURNS HIS VOLUME DOWN. THAT IS SUCH A CRAPPY THING TO DO, REMOTE CONTROL OR NOT. So, then Stephanie tells him to put his volume up, but then we see Ziggy angry moment (!!!!!!!!!!) about how you can't do that to people.
So once they try to leave, Pixel.. freezes Ziggy solid like a popsicle (in his own words). What a little french fry hair boy. This just makes me mad, personally if I was ice cream hair boy I wouldn't take that kind of disrespect.. but they are too mad to talk to Pixel, but another problem has arised - Robbie heard it and saw it all.
He has the idea to remote control Sportacus FOREVER!! Meanwhile, Pixel gets kinda bored and he throws away the remote control. Unfortunately, Robbie has been busting his butt off finding this thing, and it lands in a bin he's carrying after riding a skateboard on accident.
REEMOOOTEEE CONTROOOOLLL!!! XD, Stefan was hilarious. RIP. So, anyways, he dances of happiness, and then Milford walks into town. Robbie makes the skateboard go forward and Milford steps onto it.
Depending on what he crashes into, he could be injured seriously hard if Sportacus wasn't in town. So Robbie is a really devious man. But Sportacus is on the rescue and he gets him off by spinning the puppet around which looks funnier then it is. Sportacus stops the skateboard by doing an astonishing flip and landing on it.
After Sportacus makes sure that Milford is okay, Robbie realizes that the problem is Sportacus, so Robbie freezes him mid frontflip. Genuinely surprised that he managed to do that.
So, anyways, Milford is asking him if he's sleeping, and he whispers that he likes taking naps too. XD! But Robbie isn't amused and he freezes Milford too. So, Stephanie and Ziggy see the freeze victims and ask themselves why Pixel did it, then Robbie reveals he did it (villians always lie but not this softie..) and mutes them.. then he freezes them while Stephanie proves she could have a career as a poser for YouTube clickbaiting thumbnails.
Meanwhile, Robbie decides to have a little fun with Sportacus. (This scene is exactly why my mum declares this her favourite episode.) He makes him run in fast forward, freezes him, makes him run backwards, and.. makes him do.. the cha cha cha. Cha cha, real sporty.
Then he makes him do a spinning flip.. for fifteen seconds. Then he throws a ball at him and freezes him as he catches it in mid-air. Frozeacus. XD. Pixel walks in and tries to run to save them, but trips over his shoelaces, and he TIES THEM HIMSELF. AFTER ALL THAT COMMOTION. MY. GOD. So, Robbie calls for a truck to run Sportacus over, but he clicks the Wildlife Channel instead.
XD. The truck is only like 2 seconds away from riding Sportacus over, but then Robbie fumbles it up. He tries pressing the fast forward button.. but he FACES IT AT HIMSELF. And he throws the control into the air, and Pixel catches it, playing Sportacus, when he shoulda been run over like 30 seconds ago..
So Sportacus kicks the ball away, uses the digger of the truck as a launching pad, frontflips into the driver's seat and stops the truck. Then Pixel unfreezes everyone, and he says he found a better gadget, his own body. Then they perform Bing Bang. Pixel plays with Robbie, then he unfreezes him and he falls into his lair, flopping on the floor.
He stands up and walks off camera then the episode ends.
It was kinda good, actually.

Play Day (prod 129)
Original airdate: August 1, 2005
Story by Magnus Scheving
Written by Noah Zachary, Cole Louie, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Magnus Scheving
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello

Now it's time to play!.. this episode of LazyTown on YouTube.
The episode begins with a combination of cold opens from 'Sportafake' & 'Cry Dinosaur', mixing scenes where Sportacus is stepping on buttons from Cry Dinosaur with scenes where he is controlling the airship in Sportafake. This all in all might actually be my favourite cold open of the season.
Except, this time, it takes him 42 seconds to do all that stuff. It'd take me the full 60 seconds! Trixie and Sweetacus are playing Daredevils. Sweetacus is going down the slide, but Trixie thinks that what he had done (going down the slide like a normal person) was lame, so she decides to show him by going down the slide.. on a wheelbarrow.
So then whaddya know? Sportacus has to save her (shocker!!) and she interrupts Robbie's nap. I forget this scene exists, then I suddenly remember it: "Oh yeah, that scene from New Superhero." Sportacus asks what they're doing and she tells him about Play Day. And guess who is coincidentally eavesdropping?
Robbie Rotten, who doesn't like the sound of Play Day. At all. But he hopes that they play something quiet. When Sportacus leaves, they decide to play dinosaur, and Stephanie joins them. Ziggy wants to eat candy (they say no, LOL!) but they wanna do something exciting and noisy - like cowboys. Robbie is about to sit down, but he bobs back up super fast when they say 'cowboys'. LOL!'
The disguise time sequence actually features a DIE HARD reference, which was nice that the writers put it in. So anyways, Robbie ends up in his cowboy disguise, The Rotten Kid. He is going to challenge the kids to a showdown.
Then he says when he wins that they'll have to be quiet forever. But being the softie he is he would want them to be loud again. Anyways, he takes out his weapon (a cane..?) and he throws it, declaring he needs some more practice. Meanwhile, Ziggy and Trixie are playing cowboys, and Stephanie shows up in what is probably my favourite costume from hers aside from the jumper.
Then Rotten Kid shows up with hay in his mouth (what???) and says that there ain't enough room for the four of them.. but he puts up three fingers. For number ten on the list of the smartest villians.. he is really dumb.
So, anyways, Rotten Kid spits out his hay and nobody knows who he is. It's funnier because Ziggy's like 'Oh no, it's the.. who is this guy?".. and I took about 4 screenshots of Stephanie during this scene because she looks so goofy.
He introduces himself as The Rotten Kid, and says it's high noon (it's 3:15). And he has had enough. So he gets out the rope, swinging it around, but Sportacus' crystal beeps like in Rottenbeard.. so here comes another epic fight scene rated G by action film legend MAGNUS SCHEVING!!
He brings his ping pong paddles and a backpack and starts pedalling downtown. So The Rotten Kid finally ties them to the tree, but Sportacus comes to the rescue, saying that it's just 'you and me'.. then Rotten Kid asks about the kids. LOL!! So Sportacus tells him to make his move, and cue an epic staredown.
Then Rotten Kid's nose twitches (WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN IN THE MOST. RANDOM. TIIMEEESSS???!!!) and he rubs it, yelling that it wasn't his move. So they stare at each other for a while, and then the two grab something from their pockets. Robbie's are empty, from the time he threw the cane in his lair. (Plot armor!!) Sportacus grabs the ping pong paddle and yells for an apple, hitting it with the paddle.
He says 'Look out, kid!' but then all the Tumblr fans saw this scene in 2016 and declared he said 'batch'.. and I'm not talking about a cookie batch. Anyways, the apple hits his hat and it falls off. (Funny thing is that the hat wouldn't have fell off if Rotten Kid didn't move his head!!)
Sportacus says you can't be a cowboy without a hat, and Robbie bends down to pick it up (hear me out..), Sportacus kicks a bucket (how did that even get there? plot armor.), calls for another apple, hits it with the ping pong paddle so it hits Robbie's.. ehm.. posterior and his head falls in the bucket.
So, he has lost the fight. But, Sportacus, being the kind, awesome dude that he is gives Rotten Kid the hat back and he even has the audacity to say thanks. As Rotten Kid goes back to the lair, Sportacus flips over to the kids in a reused shot which was edited to make it look like he has the ping pong paddles in his hand. Sweet editing.
The kids are debating on what to play next, and they ultimately decide something noisy, soccer. But Stingy tells them to change because they're using HIS ball. Meanwhile, Sportacus is playing some soccer of his own.
Then he checks on the kids to see what they're doing, and then Playtime is performed, a song which I genuinely and honestly love so much! Then the kids have a game of soccer, and once the ball is kicked in the goal, Stingy checks on the ball.
It has a grass stain, and he stops the game of soccer. What a clown. If I was in the town, I wouldn't make it 4 episodes without punching Stingy right in his latex nose. Anyways, Robbie is eavesdropping (how can he even see with the bucket on his head?) AGAIN and the kids decide to play something wild - WILD ANIMALS. LAZYTOWN FURRY PROPAGANDA NOT CLICKBAIT AT 3AM!! And Robbie is raging in the lair, asking himself "WHAT HE'S GONNA DOOOOOOOOO!???!!!"
Until he realizes the answer is in front of him (but he can't SEE in front of him!!!) and he throws the bucket off his head, performing 'Master of Disguise', a recycled and better version of Versti Fantur. Damn, Stefan Karl could SING!
So then out of nowhere Robbie goes up on the stairs where there is a mirror waiting for him. Classic 'who-are-you-oh-you're-me' trope because comedy. So the kids are playing Wild Animals. Stephanie is a lion, Trixie is a tiger, and Ziggy is a...
mouse. So Stephanie is playing her bongo drums, Trixie and Steph are roaring and Ziggy is squeaking. Robbie decides to fulfill their wish of playing wild animals.. by becoming a wild animal.
Then he jumps over the railing. LOL!! But he thinks he is missing something. What could it be? A gorilla soundboard? Some bait? No.. you won't believe what he needs. SPORTS. CANDY.
But it's too healthy for him so he decides to unpeel it and throw the peel away. Foreshadowing shot of the peel plays! Anyways, the kids are still banging on the drums, roaring and squeaking, and Robbie is disgusted. What's so bad about having some fun?
Plus, he has noice cancelling headphones for trains. How doesn't he think of using them? So he calls for a rope Sportacus style, and he decides to climb up a wall (while making gorilla noises, LOL!!!!) and swing down on them. But he is too scared, and cue a hilarious sequence where he talks to himself.
One side of him is like "Hurry up and climb the vine, Robbie!" and the other side is like "NO!! I CAN'T!!" until he finally gets the courage to do it. So he's on the wall with a gorilla head and suit, and nobody notices him until Trixie points it out.
So they run away, but Robbie slips on the wall OVER NOTHING (in movies and shows, the character must always trip over nothing.) and swings on accident.. then he hits a tree. LOL!! The scene isn't that funny until we see Stephanie's reaction.
XD!! Then the funny meter turns up a notch when he slips and falls onto his unicycle. Plan - failed. Crotch - broken. He rides around town and scares the kids on accident, then the crystal beeps. I think the guys at LazyTown really liked ropes, because Sportacus uses a really longly knit scarf behind his bed as a rope instead of just flipping down like he did in other episodes.
I guess Magnus really likes ropes. Sportacus kicks a wheelbarrow nearby, then the unicycle hits the edge of the wheelbarrow and Robbie does a frontflip into the unicycle. Sportacus tips him out and now everyone can see it's Robbie.
So, the kids decide to play Bing Bang next (pretty sure that's a dance routine, not a game) and Robbie is super sad and annoyed. When he goes back to his lair, he says nothing can happen to him there.. then he slips on that banana peel he threw out and breaks the lamp.
LOL!! Then the credits play.
Good songs, fast-paced, decent plot. 7/10

Dear Diary (prod 118)
Original airdate: June 7, 2005
Story by Hanna Maja
Written by Noah Zachary, Cole Louie, Magnus Scheving
Directed by Raymond P. Le Gue
Executive producers - Magnus Scheving, Ragnheidur Melsted, Raymond P. Le Gue, Mark Read, Brown Johnson, Kay Wilson Stallings
Starring Magnus Scheving, Stefan Karl Steffanson, Julianna Rose Mauriello
Puppeteers - Ronald Binion, Gudmondor Thor Karason, Jodi Eichelberger, David Matthew Feldman, Julie Westwood, Amanda Maddock
The first season of LazyTown was ordered 40 episodes, but the producers met their deadline and only produced 35. Thus being why there are four clip shows in this seasons - and I remember not being very fond of this one.
The episode begins with a recycled cold open from the episode before this - The Laziest Town. Only the banana scene plays and we get a new shot of the peel falling onto the ping pong ball, but couldn't they have just filmed a new one or just recycled from an even OLDER episode? Taking it from the previous one is just.. Lazy in LazyTown.
Stephanie is in her room with her diary and Milford has messed up the laundry - his pants shrunk & one of his socks are pink. He offers to give it to her, but she is writing in her diary about everything that happens in LazyTown and she shows Milford a page about the first day she was in town (Welcome to LazyTown).
Then a page about when Milford spilled Bessie's drink and when he nearly fell from the ladder (Sportafake), and then when they played against the Soccer Bot (Soccer Sucker). That scene just grinds my gears, spoilers! Soccer Sucker is the TWENTY FOURTH episode of LazyTown. THIS IS THE SIXTEENTH.
Milford asks about how Stephanie has time to write in her diary (she looks at the clock, durr) because she's full of energy, and then she remembers the time they sang a song about it (Sports Day). Meanwhile, Robbie is eavesdropping on Stingy and Trixie fighting over a basketball.
Stephanie pops up and they stop talking to each other. Trixie asks Stephanie to prove that Stingy says everything is his a lot - like the time he said the seesaw was his (Welcome to LazyTown), the time he said the ladder was his (Sportafake), the time he said Ziggy's candy maker was his (Happy Brush Day) and the song he made about it (It's Mine!) which is genuinely amazing. Not because of the memes or anything. Then they mock the song and Stingy says that it's his song (which he's right, but the thing is they changed up the lyrics to 'absolutely definitely mine')
Stephanie says she writes everything good in her diary, and then she flips to a page with the song 'Step by Step' (Hero for a Day) and when they built the treehouse. So 75% of this episode is recycled footage and shots. How annoying. So they go to a bench and decide to do some cartwheeling with music. Stephanie goes to get the boombox and Trixie says 'Oh, well I guess I'll just stay here, okay'. It wasn't really that funny, but the way 'Ok' is said really topped it off. LOLZ.
Robbie wants to stop this icky friendness (Stefan Karl himself said deep down Robbie wants some friends) so he gets a pink piece of paper that was coincidentally next to him that he didn't have at all before this scene and writes the following words- 'DEAR DIARY. MY WORST FRIEND IS TRIXIE MY SECOND WORST FRIEND IS PIXEL MY 3.RD WORST FRIEND IS ZIGGY AND MY 4.TH WORST FRIEND IS PIXEL'. He puts the slip of paper on the bench and Trixie reads it.
It's funny because even a blind person could tell that's not Stephanie's cursive handwriting.. It's not even in cursive. Not to mention, no idiot actually writes secrets in a diary. It's not like the book has a high tech security system. The plan succeeds and Trixie reads it to everyone. Ziggy is pumped when Trixie says Ziggy is her 3rd favourite and starts bragging. LOL!!
Anyways, they all are super mad at her and Stephanie is sulking in her bedroom. Meanwhile Milford has washed his shirt and turned the letters on it upside down (how do you even do that..??).
He says he will use it when he will stand on his head (kinda funny) but Stephanie is too sad to respond. He asks what is wrong and Stephanie says Trixie is being mean to her for no reason (she does have a reason, so Stephanie is WRONG!!).
The above screenshot makes me realize that Stephanie's eyelashes look really stupid. She's obviously got her eyes open, but you can't see them because of the stupid eyelashes. It looks like she's crying black tears - 'Loud House' style. Anyways, Milford's advice is to ask her other friends what's going on and Stephanie says Milford is the best. Maybe not in laundry, but, eh.
So Stephanie walks in Pixel's house and they all shuffle to the other side of his couch and everyone is avoiding face contact and nobody'll talk to her. She is pissed and walks off 'angry-black-mom' style. I don't blame her.
An instrumental version of 'Have you Never Been Sad' plays over clips of Stephanie walking slowly and sadly. I nearly got teary eyed myself, but Sportacus came to the rescue. Enough crying. I need to see his backflips.
Stephanie tells the whole story to Sportacus and how she gives up on the whole thing. Sportacus then comes back with her own argument - Always a Way (Defeeted). After the song finishes, Sportacus goes to Pixel's house to see what's wrong and they say that she said mean things about them all. Then Stingy shows Sportacus the note.
But he doesn't believe Stephanie wrote it (more proof for my headcanon Stephanie is Sporty's favourite of the childs). He tells them to go talk to Stephanie about it, and Stephanie says she didn't do it while Robbie is watching.
Her first piece of proof - her diary paper is white. Her second piece of proof - she only writes nice stuff - e.g. Stingy returning Sportacus' crystal (The Great Crystal Caper), Pixel making the treehouse blueprint, when Ziggy worked out with Sportacus (Super Hero for a Day), and when Trixie saved her (Lazy Scouts). She should be a lawyer. While they are all hugging, Robbie snatches the diary again.
Except, this time, he is gonna write bad stuff about Sportacus ('Sportacus is SO annoying!') But he gets distracted by a page Stephanie has written about him. She has written the following: 'Robbie really likes cake (Swiped Sweets). Sometimes he does funny stuff (falling in Welcome to LazyTown). Other times, he just wants to relax (Super Hero for a Day). But mostly, I think he's a big softie.' What a kind soul. Meanwhile, the kids notice it is lost and start looking for it. Robbie proves the 'softie' statement by giving the diary back.
Robbie is curious as if she is gonna write about him and he puts his finger in the diary. Then she closes it and Robbie just says he's curious. Aw, man, I feel bad for him. He did something nice then right after it Stephanie thinks he's gonna snoop. ): To answer the question, Stephanie writes the following: 'Robbie Rotten can be super sneaky. One time he'. Then Bing Bang plays - a montage of scenes from the past 15 episodes in a 'sitcom finale' style. (This is recycled for 'Greatest Hits'.) Maybe this would've fit better as the finale of Season 1 over Sportacus on the Move! The episode ends with Stephanie closing her diary on a page that says 'Living in Lazytown is great! Living in Lazytown is great! Living in Lazytown is great! Living in Lazytown is great!' No joke.
This is one of those episodes that become better once you watch it more. Kinda like with some Sports Candy.
