Inappropriate Response: Leila Ouahabi x Reader
Summary: Leila confronts you after a bad tackle. Things escalate. đSmut. Mdni. đ Pairing: Leila Ouahabi x Reader Warnings: Everything is consensual but not explicitly negotiated beforehand. Fingering, degradation, wall sex Disclaimer: Obviously fiction. Notes: I've had this partially written for so long! I hope you all enjoy, and feel free to leave requests! Words: 2674
You knew you had fucked up as soon as you collided with your opponent.Â
Her pained shout as she fell to the ground under your mistimed challenge made your stomach roil as you hopped back up to your feet, barely noticing the referee as she pulled out the yellow card and held it up in your direction.
Even as your teammates surrounded her, beginning to argue on your behalf, you didnât bother. Instead, you peered around the backs of Cityâs medical team, trying to catch a glimpse of the player youâd taken out.Â
Through her grimace of pain as the medical staff helped her to her feet and off the pitch, Leila Ouahabi still managed to send an impressive glare your way.
She had to be substituted off, and the knot of guilt in your stomach only tied itself tighter.
You could see her glaring at you from the City bench, clearly still stewing over the bad tackle as she sat with her ankle covered in ice, but it faded from your mind as the match continued on. When it was over, you retreated back into the locker room with your teammates, not expecting the Spaniard to make anything more of it.
You couldnât have been more wrong.
As you knew for a fact that you were the last one in the lockers, the sound of the door made you jump, water bottle clattering down to the floor as you whipped your head around, catching sight of black hair as the Spaniard fixed you with a steely glare.
You didnât know Leila well, having only played against her a few times, but you could tell that she was still angry as she stalked toward you, ankle clearly still tender. You wanted to melt into the floor as she got closer, wishing that you could disappear before you had to hear exactly what the Spaniard thought of you.
There was no such luck for you as Leila stalked towards you, her approach pushing you further and further back.
âWhat the fuck was that tackle?â
You shrugged, back pressing against the white wall as she cornered you. You wanted to apologize, again, but your words were lodged in your throat as her glare froze you in place. The sensation of the back against the wall, the beautiful woman with ire in her eyes growing closer and closer, was going straight between your thighs.
You knew that your reaction was entirely inappropriate.Â
Her response was entirely disproportionate, the rational side of your mind told you. It had been a mistake, and you had apologized for it. Repeatedly, in fact. You shouldnât be standing here and listening to her shout at you, back against the wall. You should be yelling back, standing up for yourself.
But you werenât.
Instead, your eyes were locked on the defenderâs pretty face as she cornered you, and her fury had you shivering for a very different reason.
Your cheeks were red and heated with a scarlet blush, and your face wasnât the only part of your body that felt hot.Â
âWell?!â
You didnât know what to say as she shouted at you once again, the fierce bite of her words sending a fresh shiver through you. Your silence was clearly beginning to grate on her nerves as she clenched her jaw, unwilling to leave you alone until youâd explained yourself to her satisfaction.
âI⊠UmâŠâ
Unconsciously, you pressed your thighs together, your pussy beginning to tingle with arousal. You worried your tongue between your teeth, only getting wetter as the Spaniard glared at you, so close. But she couldnât know, could she? Â
There was no way that Leila could figure out why you were a stuttering mess, know way that she could know just how wet you were getting.Â
How, if she did figure it out, you would do whatever she asked of you.
The defender was, however, remarkably observant when she wanted to be.
Still narrowed in a glare, Leilaâs eyes drifted downwards from your nervous face to the spot where your thighs were pressed together. You were trying desperately not to clench down around nothing, praying that your entirely inappropriate reaction to being backed into a corner by a beautiful woman would go unnoticed by the woman herself, that you could get her to accept your apology and flee home with your tail tucked in to take care of your need on your own.
Leilaâs gaze, however, should have warned you that things wouldnât exactly work out that way.
âOh my God,â she gasped, realization flooding her face as you flushed scarlet, unable to stop a little whimper from escaping, cursing every decision you had ever made that had led you to this situation.
âYou⊠Youâre⊠Fuck. This is making you wet, isnât it?â
You shook your head frantically, trying to deny it. Even as you did, another wave of arousal flooded through you, her looming presence going straight between your legs. The air between the two of you felt charged with electricity as she invaded your space, able to sense the way your breath hitched at her proximity.
âF-Fuck you, thatâs-â
âDonât fucking lie to me.â
Her growl drew another noise from you, much louder than the first. Your breath froze in your lungs as Leila slid one of her knees between your legs, her lower thigh making the barest contact with the place where her words had gone.Â
Even through your kit, the touch of the defenderâs skin against your pussy made you whine. You just managed to stop yourself from grinding down against the other womanâs muscular leg, but the sound did nothing to disprove Leilaâs conclusion.
You couldnât meet her eyes.
There was no way this could be happening. There was no way you were trapped in a corner by a beautiful woman who was very angry at you, and there was no way she had just slid her leg between yours to confirm that the situation was making you wet.Â
âLook. At. Me.â
Even though it was torture, the blush on your cheeks setting your face ablaze to the point where you were fairly certain you were seconds away from spontaneous combustion, the bite behind her heavily accented English couldnât be ignored.
Shaking, biting your lip to hold back the disappointed whimper when she removed her leg from between yours, you raised your chin and forced yourself to meet her eyes.
Her eyebrows were raised just slightly as her grip loosened, silently giving you the opportunity to say that you didnât want this, to push her away and never speak of this moment again.
You would have been lying if you said you didnât consider it for a moment, but the press of Leilaâs body against your own was just too tempting for denial to be anything but an unthinkable possibility.
One look into your face made the decision for Leila- behind the humiliation, your eyes were clouded with an obvious lust, the same expression she knew was dancing behind her own heavy gaze.Â
Slipping her hand beneath your shorts, Leilaâs hand went straight to your wetness.
You were soaked, and it didnât take the Spaniard long to more than confirm her original suspicion. The second her long fingers brushed against the crotch of your panties, they were met with damp fabric, plentiful evidence of her claim. You whimpered, rocking your hips forward into her touch, and the defender let out a harsh laugh.
âYou fucking slut.âÂ
Her hands found the waistband of your shorts and unceremoniously yanked them down your thighs, pulling your panties along with them.Â
âWanna make it up to me, hm?â
You nodded desperately, not trusting your words to properly convey how much you needed to make it up to her in this way, hoping that the motion of your head would get the message across.
Leila swore in Spanish at the feeling as, unencumbered by your shorts and panties, her fingers once again met the bare flesh of your cunt. She wasted no time before beginning her ministrations, two fingers pressed together gathering the wetness from your entrance and dragging it back up to your clit. The defender began stroking your sensitive little nub, relishing the way you were unable to hold back a strangled moan. Your legs felt like jelly beneath you, the combination of the match and her fingers making you shudder and buckle a little, saved from collapsing to the floor only by her presence.
âHow pathetic can you get?âÂ
She was supporting a good portion of your weight now, ankle making a miraculous recovery as two fingers rubbed against your cunt, mercilessly stroking your clit.
Pathetic was definitely one of the many words that could be used to describe you right now, pressed up against the wall by a woman who probably hated you, soaking her fingers with your arousal.
But the best part?
The best part, and the worst part at the same time, was that you didnât care. All you cared about right now was how much you needed her, needed her to keep you pinned against the wall with her larger body, needed her to keep touching you like that, needed the filthy, degrading words being growled in your ear.
âI could tell you to get on your knees and eat me out right here and youâd do it, no?â
You nodded desperately, trying to rock against her fingers. She pulled them back, swallowing your whine with a fierce and bruising kiss.Â
Leilaâs kiss was like fire, her lips crashing against your own with a heat that could almost rival the one between her legs, where her fingers continued to work you. Her mouth dominated, your own offering little resistance as you moaned, again, into her tongue as it explored. She kissed you like she was dying, and your lips were the only cure, until she was suddenly pulling back, leaving you desperate for more.
Kiss broken, Leilaâs other hand flashed out, wrapping around your neck as she held you against the wall. Your gasp of surprise was short and strangled, cut off in the face of the momentary restriction to your airflow. She didnât keep her hand wrapped around your neck for longer than a second or two, just long enough to pin you in place as the fingers that had just been rubbing your sensitive clit and outer folds suddenly slipped inside your cunt. You were tight, but so wet that her two fingers slid easily inside, the Spaniard giving you only milliseconds to adjust before she was moving, fucking you in earnest, still keeping you pressed against the wall and at her mercy.
Even though her fingers were thin, the sudden intrusion still made you gasp aloud, instinctively trying to spread your legs further and give her better access. She swore again, a Spanish curse you couldnât understand, welcoming the better angle as she buried herself in you up to the third knuckle, lithe digits swallowed by your desperate cunt.
She found her rhythm quickly, curling her fingers every few thrusts so she could massage the sensitive tissue inside of you.Â
You were fairly certain you had forgotten how to breathe properly, strangled gasps all you could manage as the Spaniard fucked you with her fingers. The pleasure was constant, pounding, overwhelming as her thumb rubbed messy circles across your clit, acute and addicting. Your mouth fell open, eyes heavy-lidded as you let yourself be fucked, owned by the gorgeous defender.
âYou little slut,â she hissed, yanking you back to reality with her words as her wrist continued to guide her thrusts, power coming from her forearm as she fucked your willing hole. âYou little fucking slut.âÂ
âYour slut,â you moaned in agreement, throwing your head back as her fingers continued to plunder your pussy, making it clear who controlled the situation.
âYouâd like that, wouldnât you? Wanna be my little slut?â
You nodded, leaning forward desperately and puckering your lips, needing to feel her mouth against your own.
She met you halfway, pressing another furious kiss to your parted lips. You gasped into the kiss, clasping onto it like a breath of oxygen, even as it stole the air from your lungs. Her lips against yours only made her fingers plundering your cunt more intense.Â
You could feel the pressure beginning to build against your pelvis, the sensations becoming more and more intense as Leila slipped a third finger inside, the brief ache of the stretch quickly swallowed by the pleasure. Removing her lips from your mouth, the defender hissed into your ear, hot breath posing a question which made you shiver in anticipation and nerves.
âYou deserve to come?â
You didnât know which answer she wanted, but the idea of being denied, of her talented fingers leaving you a quivering mess and not seeing the act through to completion made you want to sob. Thankfully, it didnât seem like Leila really expected an answer as she curled her fingers again, palm pressing firmly against your nub. Every movement of her fingers set your nerves on fire, sensitive little clit fully erect from her touch. You could feel your orgasm approaching much more rapidly now, barrelling towards you like a runaway freighter, and you had no idea how much longer you could hold back.
âLeila-â
The strangled moan of her name was enough to alert Leila to your predicament and, as much as the rapidly forming bruise on her ankle made her want to walk away and leave you panting, unsatisfied with your arousal coating your thighs, there was no real choice.
Not when you had taken her so well, not when you looked so pretty with her fingers buried inside your cunt, showing her just how sorry you were.Â
She wanted to feel you come around her fingers, and she wanted it now.
âCome for me. Make it up to me, slut, and come for me like the needy thing that you are.â
Permission granted, you wasted no time before crashing over the edge with a sharp cry, a nonsensical noise barely recognizable as the other womanâs name.
Your legs gave out beneath you as you came but, before you could fall to the floor, her free arm was wrapping around your waist, holding you steady as your orgasm overwhelmed you, cunt clamping around her long fingers and holding them in place. Leila couldnât help but release a little sound of her own at the feeling of your cunt fluttering around her fingers, imagination conjuring images of what it would be like to have you all to herself for much longer, spread out and helpless in her bed.
âR-Really am sorry,â you whispered, clinging to her shoulders as the aftershocks began to fade.Â
âShh, pretty girl,â she cooed, banishing her fantasies for a moment in order to see to you, tone markedly different from the one she had used when she first cornered you against the wall, what seemed like an eternity ago.
âItâs okay. Donât you worry about it. Itâs all fine, I promise. It barely even hurts anymore.â
You sighed in relief, embracing the feeling of her arms around you as she worked her fingers free, leaving you empty as she pulled your shorts and damp panties back into place.Â
âBesides,â said Leila, grinning as she glanced at her glistening fingers. âI think you more than made up for it.â
Your post-orgasm haze wearing off, the furious blush returned to your cheeks. She chuckled, shaking her head.Â
âAnd now that you have⊠I donât suppose youâd let me buy you a drink?â
It was your turn to burst out laughing, first at the audacity of the question and then at the slightly wounded look that appeared on the defenderâs face at your reaction.
Crouching down to pick up a stray hair elastic and sliding it around your wrist, you met her eyes and gave her a bright grin and a nod.
âYou know,â you said. âThis may be the strangest way anyoneâs ever asked me out.â

Boomerang
Alanna Kennedy x Teen! R
-----------------------
You don't know why you didn't say anything. You don't know why you didn't tell your mum that you were running out of your ADHD meds, but now you didn't have any more and you'd have to go to training without them.
"Y/N?" She called from the kitchen, voice echoing around the house. "We've gotta go, kiddo."
"I'm comin', I'm comin'," you grumbled. "Hold your horses, mother."
The defender flicked your ear teasingly. "Grumpy today, are we?"
You couldn't help but smile at the goofy grin on her face. "Only when you start yellin' for me even though we're not gonna be late."
The two of you slipped into the car, listening to the radio in an unusual silence.
"You alright there, baby?" your mum asked, glancing over at you where your hands were shaking in your hoodie pocket. "You're quiet today."
"Yeah, I'm good," you dismissed her concerns, twiddling your thumbs under the cover of your comfortable top. "When do you leave for the next Matildas camp?"
The question caught her off guard, making her forget about her previous statement. "In two weeks. You're on the roster, silly."
"Oh," you giggled sheepishly. "I forgot."
The rest of the drive was uneventful, though your mum did take offense to you jumping out of the car before she finished parking once you arrived at training. "Oi! Where you goin'?!"
"To find Hempo!" You yelled back, sprinting into the building to find your best mate at Man City. "She's fun!"
You could practically feel the offense radiating off your mum. "And I'm not?!"
"Eh."
"You cheeky littleâ"
"Hiii, Hempo!" You jumped on the older girl's back in excitement as she made her way to the changing room, a shit-eating grin on your face as she grunted from the sudden weight.
"Hiii, Y/N," the forward mocked, pushing the door open and carrying you into the room where some of the girls were already gathered. "How are you?"
"I'm good!" You chirped, jumping off of Lauren's back and somersaulting on the floor.
Your teammates paid you no mind, simply thinking you had a bit of extra energy. But as the day went on, you became more hyper and more restless.
"RAHHH!" you screeched, sprinting at Laia. "TIM TAMS!"
A hand snatched the back of your jersey, causing you to jerk back.
"Y/N," Steph scolded. "Calm down."
You grunted, hiding your ever-twitching fingers behind your back. "You and Mum are so boring."
"Her fingers are wiggling." Leila deadpanned.
You spun around, annoyed. "Shut up, Leila!"
Steph tutted disapprovingly. "I think someone didn't take their meds this morning."
Luckily, the whistle blew as the trainers called for a scrimmage, saving you from any further investigation.
Steph opened her mouth to say more, but you ran off to your position and clapped for the game to start. The skipper just shook her head, amused. She'd bring it up to your mum later.
-------------------
It hadn't even been ten minutes. To Steph's defense, you had been much calmer before the scrimmage, but you and Hempo were on opposite teams and your will to beat her only fueled your uncontainable energy.
"WAAAAAHAAAHA!" you yelled, sprinting down the field. "I'M A GONNA WIN!"
"Woahhh, slow down, Waluigi," Chloe reached out to grab you, but you just dodged her hold and continued your charge towards the ball. "Alex! Grab the kid!"
The Brit tried in vain to snatch you by the collar, but you only shook free and shrieked, "SHE'S A RUNNER SHE'S A TRACKSTAAAAR!"
Lauren screamed as you chased after her, leaving the ball abandoned in a futile attempt to shake you off. "WHERE'S ALANNA?! WHERE'S ALANNA?!"
"Seeing the physio," Demi said. "For her ankle."
Lauren screamed again, running like her life depended on it (it did). "GO GET HER! GO GET HER!"
"ARARARARARARARARARUFF!" you barked, your ADHD taking total control of your limbs and vocal cords. "AIAIAIAIAIAIAIAAIAIAIAI!"
Lauren jumped onto Sandy's back, scrambling away from you in a panic. "HELP ME YOU SHITS!"
"Hey, hey, hey," your mum rushed towards you before you could react, arms wrapping around you and holding you in place. "What's the matter, baby? What's going on?"
Your head whipped to the side. "Boomerang!"
She smiled at you worriedly, waddling off to the sidelines with you trapped firmly in her hold. "Yeah, kiddo. You're exactly like a boomerang, flying all over the place."
Steph jogged over as you babbled nonsensically, eyes meeting your mum's. "She didn't take her meds this morning. She was acting like this earlier, and she hasn't had any sugar."
"Aww, kiddo," your mum ran her fingers through your hair, trying to calm you down. "Why didn't take your meds? You know they're important."
Something in your brain briefly turned off the hyperactivity long enough for you to hear the slight disappointment in her voice. "I- I ran out."
"You've gotta tell me before that happens, sweetheart," she murmured, rubbing your temples. "You scared the hell out of Hempo today."
You buried your face into your shoulder, suddenly tired from your rampage. "'m sorry, mum."
"It's okay, kiddo," she assured, suddenly smirking. "It was hilarious."

From the sidelines | Leila Ouahabi x Reader & Jill Roord x Platonic!Reader
Where Leila gets injured, and you have to watch from the sidelines.
This one is for you @sleekswosobession happy birthday!
Woso masterlist | Words: 1k
-----
You found your seat amongst the crowd at Etihad Stadium, it wasnât long after you sat down that you saw Jill Roord heading your way. âHey Jill, how are you doing?â Since she had done her ACL she watched her team play from the stands, you hated that she was injured, but you loved the company. âIâm hanging in there, wish I could be on the field, you know?â You nod, though you had no personal experience, you could imagine how hard it was for her to not be able to play. âAnyways, how are you? Still enjoying WAG life?â The term made you laugh, âIâm doing well, and WAG life is great as always.âÂ
The two of you talked until warm-ups started. Leila looked into the crowd, always eager to find you as soon as she could. Once she did she waved at you with the biggest smile on her face, you waved back and didn't let your eyes leave your girlfriend as the team started their warming up. âThe only good thing about missing out on playing is watching how disgustingly in love the two of you are.â Jill jokes, earning herself a friendly shove. âMissing Jana I see.â You throw back at her, making the girl sigh, âYeah I do.â
Forty minutes into the game, and it was dead equal. Possession, shots on goal, and shots on target, both teams were performing at a high level on all parts of the field. You watched as Leila intercepted the ball between two of the opposing players, and started running up the field with it. She passed a few players already, and was looking to give the assist to Jess or Chloe. Before she could even decide to which one of the forwards she was going to pass the ball, she plummeted to ground reaching for her ankle instantly.
You watched in fear as you saw the hard tackle that was made on your girlfriend. Standing with your hand over your mouth as she reached for her ankle, and wasnât getting up. Jess was signaling for the medics before the referee even made it to Leila. âPlease tell me my mind is tricking, and itâs not as bad as it looks.â Jill puts her hand on your shoulder, âI wish I could.â The way Leilaâs face contorted each time the medics touched her ankle said enough for the level of pain she was in.
The crowd went silent as a stretcher was brought onto the field, and Leila was given a green whistle to ease the pain. âCome on, follow me.â You followed Jill down the stands, where she managed to get the both of you on the sidelines of the pitch. Jill knew from her injury that she wanted nothing more than for Jana to be by her side, so she wanted Leila to have that opportunity. You watched from the sidelines as your girlfriend was helped onto the stretcher and carried in your direction. âGo, sheâll need you in there.â Jill urged you to follow the stretcher. You stepped in line with them and reached for your girlfriendâs hand, âIâm here baby.â
You sat with Leila as the medical team checked out her ankle. âI think you have broken something in your ankle, but youâre going to need to go to the hospital to get an x-ray to make sure. Go as soon as you can, so we can treat it best.â He was talking to Leila, but she was a bit out of it from the green whistle, so you take in the information and answer him. âI can take her right now.â
Since Leila was a bit loopy from the green whistle, you accepted Jill's offer to go to the hospital with you. The two of them sat in the back, as you drove. âJill,â Your girlfriend started, âdid you know that I have the most beautiful girlfriend?â You blush at the comment. Jill smirks, and pulls out her phone. âWhat did you say?â She films your girlfriend's loopy confessions. âMy girlfriend is the most beautiful girl in the whole world. She's so pretty, and so smart. Jill, she is really amazing. I love her so much.â Jill pans the camera to your blushing state in the mirror, before pocketing her phone again.
At the hospital you're helped quickly because the medical team called ahead. They took Leila to get some x-rays, while you nervously waited in the room for the results. They brought your girlfriend back before they had the results ready, saying that the doctor would be with you shortly. The effects of the green whistle were starting to wear off, and Leila was seemingly in more pain. You reach for her hand, âIt's okay, the doctor will prescribe something in a bit.âÂ
The doctor came back with the results of the x-rays. The bad news was that her ankle was definitely broken. The good news, she wasn't going to need surgery. With a boot and a pair of crutches she was sent on her way. The doctor would contact the medical team with a course of treatment. After picking up the prescribed medication, you headed back to the car.
You dropped Jill off at her place and thanked her for all her help, before you made your way to your place. Leila quickly got the hang of the crutches, as you walked her to the front door. Once she was settled on the couch, you made a trip back to the car to grab your bags. âAre you hungry, love?â She might not have played the full match, but she still used up a lot of her energy. âYeah, but can we order in? I really want some cuddles right now.â You smile at her grabby hands and make your way over to the couch. âThat sounds like a great plan.â
With the delivery order placed, Leila cuddles into your side. âDid they win?â Her passion for the team was always present. âYes, they did. 2-0.â You always had match notifications on for her team, so when you were in the hospital, you had seen the final score.Â
âOh, also Jill sent something to the group chat that you might want to check out.â She watched herself simp over you with a smile on her face. âEven drugged up me knows what's important.â She pecks your lips. âI love you baby, thank you for being here for me.âÂ

In Sickness - Aitana BonmatĂ x Reader
A/n: this fic is covid heavy and based on my personal experiences, so there is content involving covid, hospitals, detiled medical stuff, anxiety (because i felt a lot of it on that lovely day where i was in a&e for nearly two days...) so read at your own risk because i probably overshared. take care of yourselves. @grapefruit-personified enjoy:) especially because i wrote this months ago and part 2 is mainly written, i just lost motivation to finish anything.
do not repost this anywhere, i only post on this tumblr so unless it's a reblog, it was stolen.
///
You could remember the day you met her. You had just moved to Spain, knowing zero Spanish made you shy and you were struggling with school, not understanding much. She spotted you sitting on the grass, tying together daisies into chains one lunch time, eventually she went over to join you instead of playing her usual lunchtime football.
The on hold music finally stopped as the clinician returned to the phone, advising you to get to the closest A&E department within the hour, after asking you if you had some way to get there.
Checking the time on your phone, you grimaced at the 12% and decreasing battery before admitting you had no way to get to A&E, resulting in advice for an ambulance, but a taxi would be quicker.
Your teammates were already at training, so none of them would be answering their phones, and your partner, she was where you left her. Barcelona.
Her last message to you was a good morning one, a message you had mirrored before the stabbing pain in your ribs had gotten worse.
Youâd been able to withstand the pain yesterday, but it was stabbing more and more, getting more intense and making it hard for you to do anything. Now you were masked up in the back of a taxi, your breathing laboured as you waited for the Manchester hospital youâd been given the address to to come into view.
Leila frowned as she looked around the Manchester City training ground, wondering where you were and if you were stuck in traffic or something.
It was âor somethingâ. Sitting in the emergency department, it took over an hour for you to be moved from A&E to the major emergency department, but your blood pressure and heart rate were high enough that they did an ECG. The nausea from before had stopped, but the hot and cold flashes hadnât.
Your phone was on 8% as you checked the notifications, having no internet connection meant you didnât have many, but Leila had texted along with the staff asking where you were.
You were barely able to send a pin of your location to Leila before the 5% battery warning lit up your phone, but you were cut off as a healthcare worker approached, wheeling over the machine to check your vitals.
Vitals that were circling the toilet, especially after a sweet old woman had spotted you swaying in your half asleep state in the waiting room chair, helping you move to a recliner that enabled you to lean back safely.
The back and forth to and from the waiting room was draining, after emerging again to return to the waiting room with a cannula in your arm.
Theyâd taken blood to grow some blood cultures, apparently to see if it was bacterial or viral, before leaving you in the waiting room again, attaching a small bag of fluids to the cannula to hydrate you after taking more blood to check on your general functioning. It was the nasal swab that gave them all the information they needed though.
Your COVID test was positive, but that wasnât the only concerning factor to your vitals. They were too high, even for an individual fighting a virus. They offered you paracetamol to try to bring your temperature down, but your blood pressure had dropped slightly, your heart was still racing and your d-dimer was slightly higher than normal.Â
You couldnât fight back the tears after that, the waterfalls hidden behind your mask as they discussed keeping you in observation even longer, asking about if you had a family history of blood clots in lungs or legs.
At this point youâd only had a couple of small packets of random biscuits to eat, eventually heading into the waiting room that you had been isolated from to protect other patients, to quickly grab a packet of crisps and some more water, but it was all too much.
You didnât know Leila had gotten your location update once in the changing room after training, and when she got no response, she began to ask questions.
The club staff had no answers after discovering your emergency contact you had written down for the club knew nothing, and the hospital told Leila nothing after being given a name she hadnât heard of for your emergency contact.
So Leila contacted someone who would know. Your partner. Even in Barcelona, Aitana would know who your hospital emergency contact was, Aitana knew everything about you, except that you were in hospital.
It was getting closer to dinner time, you had nothing with you but your wallet, nearly dead phone and your zip up hoodie that was one of Aitanaâs old Barcelona ones. Your legs and bum were going numb under the crappy waiting room chair youâd been moved to, your vitals still far too high for anyone to be comfortable sending you home.
Theyâd talked about giving you a blood thinning medication but a change in doctor later had you recalling all of your family health history instead. This doctor said it was sounding unlikely that you had a blood clot in your lungs, but they still sent you for a chest x-ray.
Aitana hadnât heard from you all day. The panic inside her kept restrained by the knowledge you were probably training and having fun with your team.
Until Leila called, asking about a family member who had been out of your life for years now. A family member who was apparently still your emergency contact in NHS systems. It didnât take long for Aitana to read through what Leila had sent, realising immediately you were in hospital and nobody had heard from you since.
It was closer to 8pm when they gave you the blood thinning injection in your stomach, keeping you hydrated with more water and trying to control your fever with more paracetamol.
You had all of the notices on the walls of the hospital waiting rooms memorised at this point, but the âone visitor per patientâ in the hospital policy was useless when you had come to the hospital alone.
Your arms were freezing cold, but you couldnât get your sleeve on over the cannula without almost crying in pain, so you wrapped the shoulders of the hoodie around your shoulders and hoped your hands wouldnât feel so cold so much longer.
The next flight to Manchester from Barcelona would arrive at Manchester airport past 11pm, but Aitana had made it to the airport in time for it, especially after asking her teammates for help.
They didnât move you far, but once you had curled up across the two waiting room chairs, you were moved into an isolated room with a small view through the door of the nurseâs station outside.
The walls were bare minus plug sockets for machinery, a table near the recliner you were able to set up for the night, a sink in the corner and a bin for clinical waste in the other. It was past 10pm when a healthcare worker came in, attaching a bag of fluids to the cannula in your arm and leaving you alone in the dark.
Exhaustion washed over you but the cold feeling of the fluids being administered into your arm kept you half awake. Your phone is barely holding on with its 5% battery but the message Aitana sent when it was closer to midnight gave you hope.
She had rented a car from Manchester airport, getting her spare key from Leila to sort of your home for the night. A home that she had helped you pick out when it was clear Barcelonaâs A team had no room for you, and you had outgrown Barcelona Team B.
One glance around your Manchester home was all it took for her to calm her anxieties. You werenât there. Your bed was a mess, bedding all but tossed on the floor as she moved to pick up the bedding, finding some pyjamas for your return.
You were going to be okay.
She convinced herself of such as she checked your fridge, rolling her eyes at the nearing emptiness of your fridge and cupboards. Sheâd have to figure out how to do an online food shop.
It was closer to midnight when the first big bag of fluids was finished, sticking your head out of the door to have the tubing removed from the cannula, you headed towards the toilet for what was one of many trips there during the night.
Youâd stopped looking at your phone hours ago, but getting a glance at the time after each toilet trip, it was nearly 2am when the next bag of fluids was administered, once again leaving you laying on the recliner in the dark, listening to every beeping alarm and footsteps passing by.
You probably should have called Aitana and told her what was going on, but every time you got an update, it was from a different healthcare professional and they kept changing their minds. For example, the blood thinning injection had been talked about hours before it was eventually given. You had managed to send out a short text though.Â
You were COVID positive.
It was after 4am that you finished the next round of fluids, two bags that looked like they were cloudier, perhaps full of nutrients but the writing on the bags were small and you were more interested in going to the toilet again after flagging down someone to detach the tubing from the cannula again.
Your temperature and heart rate were fluctuating throughout the night, going from 39 point something degrees celsius to an apparent normal of 37 degrees, before rising again to 38.1 degrees celsius.
Waiting until 8am, another doctor came in, explaining the goal to get you a CT scan of your chest early this morning to check for blood clots, and if there were none, they planned to discharge you to ride out the COVID at home. It was only then that you were able to request something to eat, since your last meal yesterday was a three pack of digestive biscuits.
One bowl of cornflakes and milk later, you were offered more paracetamol and left to wait until it was time for your CT scan.
Your arms were freezing despite attempts to keep warm under the one blanket you were given, plus a smaller blanket to act as a pillow for your head.
They didnât want to increase your temperature by giving you another, so you worked with your hoodie, the softness of the fabric working to keep you calm as you waited, and waited.
Aitana hadnât been able to sleep much. The worry of you still being in hospital consuming her, so she stayed up, using a multi-surface cleaner to wipe down the surfaces in your place, gather your medical supplies in case you needed them to fight off the COVID virus.
You didnât hear from anyone until noon, but the CT scanner was ready for you, and after a quick check that you were okay to walk, you followed the healthcare worker to the CT scanner room, a different location entirely to where the emergency x-ray rooms were located.
They checked you werenât allergic to the contrast dye they would administer via the cannula, before warning you of the warm feeling that often overtakes your body once administered, and how it would feel like you had wet yourself, even though you would not have actually wet yourself.
Your arms ached as you held them above your head for the chest CT, slamming your eyes shut at the horrid feeling of the scanner moving, you remained still as you were informed what was happening, and when they were administering the CT contrast dye.
The warm feeling was too hot to feel like you had actually wet yourself, but it was a horrid feeling that didnât help the nausea at the CT scanner moving to get the required imagery of your chest. You just wanted to go home, but it would be a lot worse if you did in fact have blood clots on your lungs.
Walking back to your isolation room, you were playing a waiting game as you managed to send another text to Aitana, updating her that you had had the CT scan.Â
It was getting towards 1pm when the vitals machine was wheeled into your room, checking your temperature (38.1 degrees celsius), your heart rate which had decreased from 140 beats per minute to 128 beats per minute.
Your oxygen levels had maintained high throughout but when it came to the healthcare worker checking your pulse, your wrists were still freezing to the touch.
There were no signs of your CT scan results, but the healthcare worker had been kind enough to ask if anyone had spoken to you about food, something you had not had since being brought the cornflakes hours ago.
The result of the conversation turned into a sandwich, some more water, and a yoghurt as you continued to play the waiting game for your scan results and whether you did or did not have blood clots in or on your lungs.
It was nearing 2pm when the doctor from this morning entered your room again, but the key piece of information you needed was given. Your CT scan was clear, you could be discharged and have your cannula removed. You could go home and ride out the COVID in your own bed.
Your phone was somehow holding on as you texted Aitana that your scan was clear so you could go home if she or someone else could pick you up from the main reception carpark, your phone sending the message and getting a thumbs up response before finally the battery dropped to 0%.
Sticking your head out of the door, the mask you had been wearing since yesterday felt damp and close to your face, but you did not remove it yet. Waiting for a nurse to come remove the cannula in your arm, you went for your final toilet break before the final hospital waiting game.
It was warm outside, and despite the clouds in the sky making it seem greyer than that one moment where you saw out a window when waiting for the CT scan, it was sunny too. Your phone was long dead, but you were alive.
Holding your hoodie in your arms, your phone and wallet in your pockets as you made the trek across the main reception disabled car park, lingering near the out of use bus stop that gave you a perfect vantage point of the entrance into the hospital from the main road.
You werenât entirely sure who you were looking for, who would be your saviour and get you home until a car you didnât recognise pulled up in front of you. The window going down to reveal a pair of eyes you had not seen in person since the two of you were in Italy together during the winter break.
âMi dulce flor!â you exclaimed, shock in your tone but your throat felt like you were swallowing knives, barely getting into the passenger seat before you were almost hacking up your lungs into your mask.
âCĂĄlmate, estoy aquĂ mi amor.â Aitana cooed, her hand lingering on your back as you coughed, eventually settling enough to put your seatbelt on so Aitana could drive you home.
âAre you hungry?â Aitana paused, going over the English in her head as she watched you walk over to your couch, appearing with several blankets before digging through your living room cabinets for something.
âBebĂ©?â Aitana broke the silence as you froze before letting out a hoarse cheer of victory.
âFound it!â Revealing the old box set that left Aitana smiling softly, watching as you went to play the series from the beginning, then disappearing to your room.
It was getting dark when Aitana realised your phone was charged, allowing you to finally message your teammates and staff at Manchester City with an update of what had happened. But it also gave Aitana a chance to message her teammates and the staff at Barcelona, sending a photo of you wrapped in blankets, half asleep as you watched the TV.
It was Alexia, Patri and Laia that messaged back first, Alexia having helped Aitana get to the airport the night before whilst Patri and Laia had held down the fort when Aitana had to leave.
âWhat happens when you miss training? You have the game against Atleti⊠and the game against Chelsea-â
âShush, mi amor. You were alone in the hospital for more than a day, I am not leaving you again.â Aitana replied, passing you your drink as you began to cough.
âThey worried you had, what did you call it? Blood clots on your lungs! Era serio!â Aitana exclaimed before quietening her voice as you grimaced at the loudness.
âLo siento.â
âIt is not your fault. The virusâŠâ Aitana fell quiet, brushing away a tear as you reached for her hand, holding it gently, âI thought I would lose you, mi dulce flor. I cannot lose you.â Aitana admitted, feeling your fingers draw patterns in the back of her hand. Your eyes were glassy with exhaustion but the love for Aitana in them was undeniable.Â
She wouldnât admit it, but Aitana listened to your breathing for most of that night. It was heavier, but you kept breathing which was a relief to her. The windows were opened enough to air out the room from germs, your fear of giving Aitana the dreaded virus which was wreaking havoc on your body and mind overwhelming you.
You didnât want to get out of bed, the way your body ached was not helping you but Aitana needed your help for an online order of food. You were running a fever that was kept at bay by paracetamol, tapping away on the touch screen to add things to the order, much to Aitanaâs amusement at how quickly you were doing it.
She found you on the couch later, curled up under your blankets and clad in your dressing gown over your pyjamas. You were breathing heavily but you remained in deep slumber, the tv stuck replaying the menu music over and over as youâd gotten to the end of the disc.Â
Feeling your forehead to check your temperature, Aitana froze as it sounded like you whimpered in your sleep, eyes cracking open as you smacked together your dried lips. âYour hands are cold.â
Aitana rolled her eyes playfully before disappearing for a moment, dropping something in your lap as she returned.
âLip balm? Gracias mi dulce flor.â Your voice was laced with sarcasm but Aitana ignored it in favour of heading to your kitchen to make something that didnât irritate your mouth.
You hadnât admitted it at first, but you had been trying to hide the grimace at the toast you had this morning, the rough texture hurting the hard palate of your mouth.
Staring up at the ceiling of your living room, your eyes fluttered shut as memories flickered in your mind. The first time you met Aitana, the flower crowns the two of you would make together, and the dynamic duo the two of you became on the football pitch, despite the boys picking on Aitana for her height, and you for existing.
Aitana was 13 when she joined Barcelonaâs youth team, whilst you took longer to join, the two hour rides by public transport to get to practice were not in your favour until you were travelling with Aitana and her father.
The two of you were moved up to Barcelona B close together, but when Aitana was 17, she was promoted by the manager to the first team, whilst you remained with Barcelona B. It didnât take long for you to figure out why.
You had the talent, but Barcelona were full of talented players, they had no room for you. No matter how well you and Aitana played together, you would not get to play with Barcelonaâs first team.
It broke your and Aitanaâs heart to leave, but Manchester City gave you an offer that was better than any other club in Spain. Manchester City were not Barcelona, but you flourished there. You flourished into a player that Barcelona kept an eye on, until your contract with City began to run out in the summer and the talks to renew were at a stalemate.
And now you have covid. A virus that youâd seen and heard of other players getting back during the height of the pandemic, but none were so affected as you were now. None had to be hospitalised despite being clinically healthy. They bounced back, but despite Aitanaâs remarks that you would be back stronger, you doubted it.
The exhaustion hadnât left you alone, even days later. Your temperature was kept at bay by paracetamol, your coughing grew worse before it was better, your gums so sore that eating crunchy foods still hurt, and you felt like you had cotton wool in your ears and wrapped around your brain.
Even after you were testing negative, your energy levels remained low but Aitana had to leave for London for the match against Chelsea before returning with the team to Barcelona.
She had tested negative throughout somehow, and it broke her heart to leave you, but it wasnât long until the end of the season and the two of you would be reunited again.
The match against Chelsea ended on good terms for Barcelona, with a 1-0 advantage in the first leg thanks to Caro, and whilst you watched Aitana struggle to get on the ball in the first half, the second half enabled your partner to have more of the ball, despite the lack of goals.
You werenât the only player who wasnât on the Manchester City squad list for the match against West Ham the day after though.
Sandy and Laia were both out with injuries, and you were still weak and recovering from the virus that rampaged your body and mind. You sat with the two of them as you observed the game against West Ham, City winning 6-2 against the Hammers.
Your cough didnât fully leave you alone, but that wasnât the only issue. Your joints hated you enough that your knee joints felt like cement, your ears felt like they had cotton wool stuffed in them, and because of this, you were more wobbly on your feet than you had ever been before.
Manchester City had ruled you out for the rest of the season too quickly for you to feel comfortable, but it wasnât what was bothering you. The talks that were previously at a stalemate had fallen through. Manchester City had decided not to renew your contract, and you couldnât help but blame yourself.
âCity donât want me anymore. They took me in when Barcelona had no place for me, but now⊠I feel like a broken toy cast away when Iâm no use anymore.â You left a voicemail for Aitana, she was busy training for the next leg of the semifinals against Chelsea.
Your hands tingle as you begin to type up what you had to, what you needed to say, to get control over something in your life.
Although some people may be excited by the prospect of a player who originated from Barcelonaâs youth teams being a free agent who could come home, you knew the reality was much worse.
City were still at least trying to help you with your recovery but your hopes of returning to your pre-covid state were fading, especially after they ruled you out for the remainder of the season.
âItâs a bitter feeling. Realising that the last game I played would be my final game at Manchester City. A club that took me in when I was lost, you have taught me so much and I will always be grateful. Thank you for changing my life, but my part at Manchester City is over. I wonât forget any of it.â
It was an early goodbye, City still had four matches left, two at home and two away. You would get to attend the home matches in the crowds, but you wouldnât get to step on the pitch in City colours again.
Your lungs were fine according to the staff at City, your cough coming and going but it was your joint and fatigue issues that were the problem.
Your energy levels came and went, and even though they had had you training alongside your teammates some days, you would be wiped out after.
You had even fallen asleep in the dressing room at one point, using a hoodie that Aitana had worn whilst she stayed with you as a makeshift pillow. Leila was the one who found you, but it was Steph that convinced you to let her drive you home, your body too sore to walk this time.
Steph remained silent as you sat in her passenger seat, tears falling down your face as you sobbed, venting your feelings of everything.
How your illness had wrecked your body and mind, how much you missed the old you, how much you missed playing and how much it hurt to leave Manchester City at the end of the season.
How afraid you were for what was to come, and how far away you felt from your partner, the love of your life youâd known since you were both children.
Steph, who knew what it was like to be away from a team due to injury, then dropped from the squad, but instead of her club, it was her national team.
You hadnât even thought about the World Cup, but you knew deep down you would not be called up. You could barely stay standing after training, you would not be able to play a full ninety minutes in your current state at all.
âDo you know where youâll go in the transfer window? Will you go back to Spain?â
âMy love is in Spain, and I have nothing here outside of Manchester City. Iâm lucky that City helped me with my coaching qualification before I got sick. I hoped that I wouldnât need it immediately, but Iâll be a free agent in the transfer window, and I donât know if anyone wants a player recovering from covid. Everyone else bounced back from it so quickly, but the simplest of things hurt me now. Please, I just want to go home and sleep.â You vented, swiping at your eyes to get rid of the tears, but Steph frowned at the last sentence you said.
âDonât shut yourself away from us, little one. You may be leaving the club but youâre not leaving our hearts or our thoughts. So please donât shut yourself away.â Steph begged, hoping you would make some sort of promise, but you didnât.
It was a promise you could not keep.

Love You A Little Bit
Leila Ouahabi x Reader
Summary: you're always encouraging Leila to practice her English.
Word Count: 6.5k words
You knew facing Manchester United at Old Trafford wouldnât be easy. The roaring applause every time a United player surges forward or makes a clean tackle. The solidity of their defense at your every attempt to attain a spot on the scoresheet. This environment was nothing new. Still, what you werenât expecting was to walk off the pitch 2-0 down at halftime.Â
You walk up to Mary, who eagerly grabs her water bottle from the cooler. She sees you approaching and grabs yours too, holding it out in your direction.
âThank you,â you say as you grab it from her. âIf they keep intercepting my crosses, Iâm gonna go crazy,â you add before chugging the rest of the water in your bottle.
âKeep trying! Iâll get on the end of one eventually. Probably,â Mary shrugs, laughing slightly before following suit and chugging the remnants from her water bottle. You let out a matching laugh at her words. Mary spares you a quick smile before she turns to converse with Alanna. With Maryâs attention elsewhere, you use this opportunity to search for the person youâre most eager to speak with. When your eyes finally land on Leila, sheâs speaking with Jill near the city goal, both of them looking dispirited.Â
You start walking in their direction, crossing nearly half the field to reach them. You approach just as the two women are separating from a quick embrace that Leila initiated, your girlfriend ever the affectionate type. Jill gives your shoulder a reassuring squeeze as she walks past you.Â
âScore next time!â you call after her, glancing back with a grin. By the time she replies, youâre already looking at Leila, reaching a hand out for her, so you miss the matching grin you can hear in Jillâs voice. âYou first!â Jill shouts back, continuing her walk to the locker room.
Leila stifles a laugh at the interaction, reaching for the hand that you have extended toward her. She turns and begins to lead you two off the pitch, only walking about a foot before you pull her back into a hug. She immediately melts into you, and you feel her hands pressing against the small of your back as you hold each other.Â
â45 more minutes. Weâve got this,â you attempt to console the woman in your arms. You feel the gentle rise and fall of her breath, the warmth of her body pressed against yours almost acting as a barrier from the commotion of the grueling first half. For a second, neither of you moves, just enjoying the shared warmth in the brisk Manchester weather. She eventually pulls back and nods, but you can tell she doesnât really believe your words.
âNot if I keep playing like this,â Leila sighs heavily in frustration. Her shoulders slump ever so slightly as she removes her hands from your body and runs them down her face. You know her well enough to know that her thoughts are likely working against her after the teamâs less-than-ideal defensive performance.
âI believe in you,â you speak softly, taking her hands gently in yours. You pull them up to your mouth to press a tender kiss to each set of knuckles. Her eyes search yours, looking for any indication that youâre not being completely truthful. Obviously, she doesnât find what sheâs looking for. But from the way her eyes soften, youâre guessing she likes what she finds there instead.
âMy number one fan, hmm?â Leila teases, her voice lighter as she seems to perk up at your words. A faint smile pulls at the corners of her mouth, and the weight on her shoulders seems to lift a bit.
âDuh,â you speak confidently, leaving her no option but to fully believe your words this time. She rolls her eyes affectionately before lifting your hands to her mouth and mirroring your actions, placing a quick kiss on each knuckle. Youâre not the least bit surprised at the warmth that erupts in your chest.
âThief,â you say lightheartedly, referring to Leila copying your gesture. Youâre completely aware that your voice sounds slightly winded as a result of feeling her lips on your skin. She moves your hands away from her mouth but keeps hold of them.
âI want you to feel how I felt when you did it to me,â she says earnestly. And while youâre still not surprised by the way she has your heart skipping a beat, you do still struggle to grapple with how she does it so effortlessly.Â
âHow did you feel?â you canât resist asking, hoping sheâll take the bait and reveal that sheâs feeling everything youâre feeling right now.
âYou tell me,â she urges with a tilt of her head, her smile widening.
âExcuse me! I asked you first,â you press further, amusement in your voice.
âIâll answer for the both of you. You love each other. Amazing. Letâs go!â Khiara interrupts with a playful laugh that you both echo. She shuffles between you two, wraps one of her arms around both of your respective shoulders, and leads the way to the locker room.Â
Alex is already speaking by the time the three of you arrive at the locker room, the energy a mix of unintelligible conversation and low motivation. You and Leila walk over to your locker and settle on the bench perched in front of it. As you sit side by side, you begin to playfully take turns nudging each otherâs leg, almost like a quiet game of footsie. You tune in to Alexâs words as she shifts her attention to the City defense.
âWe need to talk about defense. Theyâre cutting through us like weâre not even there,â she speaks, looking back and forth between the other three defenders.Â
Kerstin is the first to respond. âYeah, I donât know whatâs happening. Iâm shattered. Anyone else think they got faster since the last time we played them?â
âRight? I was thinking the same thing. Theyâre barely letting me pass,â you agree. Kerstin enthusiastically nods and gestures a hand your way, silently emphasizing your words.
Leila, who had been sitting next to you quietly with her arms crossed, leans forward eagerly.Â
âIt is because we are not keeping our shape. If Laia moves to the right by Kerstin and I stay left, they will move outside.â Leila stops her rant momentarily to look over at Alex. âAlex, you are always good. I have no advice.â
âI am already on the right! You are the one drifting,â Laia defends.
âI do not drift. I reposition to cover everyone else,â Leila argues back.
Alex holds back a grin at their arguing before allowing it to drop and speaking seriously. âI donât know, Leila. If weâre spread too thin, they can manipulate the gaps.â
Viv chimes in. âYeah, and like Kerstin said, their forwards are fast. If we force them out, thereâs a chance we donât recover.â
Leilaâs face falls slightly. âIt was just an idea,â she mutters under her breath, crossing her arms and leaning back slightly, her weight pressing against your side.
While your teammates brainstorm other ideas, you nudge her with your elbow, leaning in closer. âI think itâs a good idea,â you say softly.Â
âYou are the only one,â she smiles slightly, but her gaze remains stuck on the floor. The faint scratches on the tiles hold her attention as if theyâre the most interesting things sheâs ever seen.
âWell, I matter the most,â you shrug before nudging her again, willing her to look at you. You notice that her smile has shifted into something more genuine when she shifts her attention to you. She reaches a hand forward and traces a finger down your cheek, her touch lingering for a minute.
âAlright, Leila, weâre trying your plan. Itâs the best one weâve got,â Alex decides. Leila attempts to hide the excitement in her nod as Alex continues. âEveryone needs to step it up. Cover for each other. We canât keep giving them so much space to work with.â Everyone takes in her words before they begin to empty out of the locker room.
Leila turns to you as you both get up from the bench and begin to follow the others out of the room. âIt will help if you go up the wing faster when we yell to press. If you are fast, we can counterattack,â she says encouragingly.
âDo you mean, like, a high press or just marking?â you ask for clarification as you reach the door, pressing your back against it to keep it open for her.
 Leila stops in front of you as she searches for the right words. âWhen we all go forward. What is that?â
âPressure?â you suggest. You reach up and brush a rogue piece of hair out of her face, and she absentmindedly leans into your touch.
âSĂ! I said that,â she exclaims as grabs your hand, directing the two of you to begin walking toward the field again.Â
âYou said âpress,â babe. Itâs not the same,â you tease with a playful smile and a squeeze of her hand.
âEnglish is ridiculous,â Leila sighs, throwing her head back exasperatedly, but she squeezes your hand back a couple times.
âItâs a good thing you have a live-in English tutor then,â Lauren jokes, having been listening to your conversation from behind you as you walk. She grins as you and Leila laugh in response, not waiting for either of you to reply before she rushes ahead of you and onto the pitch.
Leila straightens up and glances at you with a playful grin. âI do not need help. I am almost like a native speaker.â
âBecause of me!â you insist with a matching grin, bumping the side of your body into hers.Â
âAs a thank you, I buy you dinner when we get back home,â Leila offers as she slides her hand from yours. The smell of freshly cut grass takes over your senses as you step onto the pitch.
âDeal,â you reply. Leila shoots you one last smile before the two of you separate, running to your respective positions.
âĄ
Leilaâs plan was successful, aiding Manchester City in recording a 3-2 comeback win. Unitedâs defense finally let you through long enough to set up a chance for Mary before netting two in the back of the net yourself.
At the final whistle, Leila beelines to you. âVamos, mi amor!â she screams excitedly before wrapping her arms around you and lifting you off the ground for a minute.Â
âTwo goals in two minutes! IncreĂble!â she adds, placing you back down on the grass. The way sheâs smiling at you when she pulls back makes your knees weak, and you feel like you could melt into the grass beneath your feet. You hope the look on your face accurately reflects the amount of adoration you feel for her
âEnough about me, baby, you were amazing! I told you! 45 minutes was all we needed,â you tell her with matching excitement.
âWe were amazing,â she counters, her smile unwavering.
âYeah, youâre both amazing. Donât forget my assist,â Jill interrupts with a smug grin and wink in your direction.Â
âWho passed you that ball, eh?â Leila reminds the midfielder, giving a gentle shove to Jillâs shoulder.
âI donât remember,â she says with a shrug, her tone indicating that she absolutely does remember.
âToo distracted by my worldie?â you chime in, flashing Jill a grin. âI think the second goal was one of my best.â
Leila responds with an enthusiastic âIt was!â at the same moment Jill says, âOf course not. You just got luck.â Her remark earns a gasp from Leila.Â
âShe was lucky two times?â Leila asks with raised eyebrows.
âExactly,â Jill affirms, unable to keep the serious look on her face from turning into a smile.
âIf youâre really that upset that youâre not on the scoresheet, I can bribe the officials to say one of my goals was yours,â you say with faux sympathy present in your voice and on your face, giving her arm a gentle squeeze.
Jill chuckles at your words. âGood. I think thatâs fair, especially after how good my assist was.â
âYou forgot I had to chase the ball halfway down the field before passing to you?â Leila asks, clearly amused.
âFine, team effort,â Jill gives in. âBut my assist made it cool.â
Before either of you can respond, a voice calls out from behind you. âLeila! [Y/N]! Interview time!â
Leila groans at the interruption, and you match her annoyance as you glare in the direction of the voice, neither of you fans of doing media. Jill only laughs, clearly amused by your irritation.Â
âHave fun!â Jill exclaims before you part ways with her, you and Leila heading to the woman waiting to interview you both on the sidelines.Â
You answer all of the interviewerâs questions with ease, the nervousness youâre feeling never once coming to the surfaceâone of your greatest strengths if you do say so yourself. When the woman shifts her questioning to Leila, you pass her the microphone thatâs been residing in your hands for the last several minutes.
Through a thick accent, the interviewer speaks. âSo, Leila, we heard from Alex that putting pressure high up the field was your idea! United seemed to really struggle with getting through the City side during the second half. What exactly did you see from United in the first half that made you think this was the right move?âÂ
You can almost guarantee from the look on Leilaâs face and her intense eye contact with the interviewer that sheâs struggling to make out what exactly sheâs being asked. Your assumption is confirmed upon Leila thrusting the microphone back into your hands, silently asking you to take this one.
You keep the microphone low to ensure it doesnât pick up on the encouraging words you send Leilaâs wayâyour words a combination of you can do it and donât overthink it. You try to pass the microphone back to her, but she just stares down at it for a beat before glancing up at you with a pleading look in her eyes.
Despite your heart screaming at you to come to her aid, youâre completely confident in her ability to formulate an answer (even if she doesnât feel that confidence herself), so you donât budge. She eventually takes the microphone back and attempts to answer the question. She stumbles over her words here and there, but the encouraging nod you give her every time she glances your way seems to motivate her to keep trying.
âThank you for your time, girls, and congratulations on the win!â the interviewer finally speaks, unknowingly providing Leila a lifeline. You both thank the woman in return. Leila quickly grabs your hand and drags you down the tunnel before coming to an abrupt stop once youâre a decent ways away from anyone else.Â
She drops your hand and turns to look at you, an unreadable expression on her face. Still, you have an idea about why she might be staring at you like this.Â
âDonât be mad at me. You did good!â you reassure as you step closer to her, wrapping your arms around her waist and smiling up at her.
Her resolve falters at that, wrapping her arms around your neck in return. âYou are lucky I love you. It was embarrassing.â
âYou donât need my help, remember? Youâre like a native speaker,â you tease her with reference to her comment during halftime. She purses her lips and holds back a smile. You do the opposite, letting out a laugh that prompts her to let her smile appear. She shortly follows in your footsteps and joins in your laughter.
âThat reminds me,â Leila starts, moving her hands down to your hips and pushing you back against the tunnel wall with a soft thud.Â
She leans in, and sheâs close enough that you can feel her breath on your ear. She just hovers there, breathing against you, and you struggle to contain the shiver that makes its way through your body. She places several featherlight kisses on the shell of your ear, one of her hands trailing down your neck and resting in the curve between your neck and shoulder. Her thumb runs along your collarbone.Â
âDinner is on you,â she whispers. She punctuates her words with a light tug of your earlobe between her teeth before pulling away from you completely. You exhale, only now realizing youâd been holding your breath. It takes you a minute to realize that sheâs waiting for you to take her outstretched hand, only noticing because sheâs wiggling her fingers. She laughs at your delay as you reach for it, interlocking your fingers with hers and allowing her to lead the way to the locker room.
âĄ
âNo, absolutamente no. No voy a hacer eso,â Leila adamantly declines your suggestion to speak to the restaurant staff in English.
âThis is the perfect time to practice,â you encourage her with a smile and a squeeze of her knee. She groans and drops her head onto your shoulder, nuzzling into your neck. She mumbles something under her breath that you struggle to make out, but the feeling of her breath on your neck gives you goosebumps. You grab the menu with one hand while your other hand wraps around her.
âBabe, look, spaghetti. You can say that, no problem.â You manually move her head off of your shoulder and point to the menu. She sits up begrudgingly before looking at the menu and then back at you with an unimpressed expression.
âCome on, practice with me. Pretend Iâm the waitress,â you attempt to convince the stubborn woman sitting next to you.Â
She smirks at that, raising her eyebrows and leaning a bit closer. âI did not know you like roleplay, bebĂ©.â You scoff and push her away, unable to stop the corners of your mouth from turning up into a smile despite how hard you try.Â
âWe will talk about that later,â Leila affirms with a peck to your shoulder before looking back down at the menu. âSpaghetti,â she mumbles to herself.
You wait for her to look up at you before speaking. âHello, Iâll be your waitress tonight. What can I get for you?â you say in your best customer service voice.Â
She briefly hesitates before speaking in your direction. âHola, I want spaghetti, please,â she matches your false excitement, keeping her eyes on you and waiting for your approval.
âPerfect! Just say âhelloâ instead of âhola,ââ you remind your girlfriend.
âAh, sĂ. Hello,â she smiles at you.
âHi,â you smile back. Leila laughs that infectious laugh of hers that youâll never tire of hearing. Your heart still flutters every time you hear it, especially when it results from something youâve said.Â
She scoots even closer, leaving almost no space between your bodies. She cups your face with both hands and quickly kisses your lips several times before pulling back slightly, her thumbs moving languidly along the curve of your jaw.
âWe cannot do this if I am on the other side,â she refers to her constant insistence that you both sit on the same side of the booth when you go out, citing a desire to be near you whenever possible. You roll your eyes at her statement now, just as you did when she first joined you on your side of the booth all those years ago with the same reasoning. The small smile on your face both times tells her that your eye roll isnât malicious.Â
When the waitress approaches your table, you put some space between the two of you but grab her hand to keep some contact. The waitress introduces herself and takes your order before turning toward Leila. âAnd for you?â she asks kindly.
Leila hesitates for a moment and glances over at you. You give her an encouraging nod before she looks back over at the waitress. Leila opens her mouth before shutting it again and pointing to the spaghetti on the menu.
âSpaghetti?â the waitress confirms, and Leila nods. âGood choice. Weâll have your food out shortly.âÂ
âThank you,â you say as the waitress walks away before you turn to Leila, who is seemingly avoiding eye contact with you.
âLeila!â you gently nudge her shoulder with yours.
âQuĂ©? I order spaghetti like you said. You should be proud of me,â she shrugs and smiles smugly.Â
âYou were supposed to use words like we practiced,â you punctuate your complaint with a gentle nudge of your knee against hers.
She shrugs again, âSame result. I do not even like spaghetti a lot. You should have picked something else for me to get,â Leila says with a dismissive wave in your direction.
âYou shouldâve looked through the menu yourself,â you exclaim, âyou had ample time to change what you were getting. We were waiting for like an hour.â
âI focus on saying it right. Then the woman was here, and too late,â Leila trails off with a sigh.Â
Before you can comprehend what sheâs doing, Leila grabs the straw out of her drink and flicks it toward you. A tiny splash of soda splattering across your arm and shirt. The cold droplets make you flinch slightly, and your ears are graced with her laugh again.Â
âOops,â she says. Her voice is heavy with mock innocence, clearly not sorry as she twirls the straw between her fingers.
You gasp. âAnd to think I was just about to offer you half of my pizza!â You move your hand with the intention of grabbing your straw to do the same thing she did, but her hand darts out and grabs it before you can. She places a kiss on the back of it before scooting near you again.
âOh, lo siento. Lo siento.â She repeats the words a few times, cupping one side of your face and kissing your cheek after every couple of words. Her face remains just inches from yours when she asks, âWhat flavor is the pizza?â
âYou were sitting right there when I ordered. Were you not paying attention to me?â you ask, feigning offense.
âNo, no, I was busy looking at how beautiful you are. Obviamente!â Leila says as if itâs the most obvious thing in the world, placing one last playful, sloppy kiss on your cheek. You dramatically wipe the remnants of her kiss off your face.
âPineapple,â you reveal before she can comment on your wiping off her kiss. She makes a noise of disgust and looks at you with a face of pure disbelief, like she genuinely canât fathom why someone would order such an entree.Â
âUgh, no good. Eres tan rara.â Despite her words, she wraps her arms around your neck and leans into you. You follow her lead and wrap your arms around her, leaning your head on hers.
âSpaghetti for you then, my love,â you say before placing a matching kiss on her temple, although she doesnât wipe yours off.
âĄ
The blaring sound of your alarm is a stark contrast to the warm, peaceful energy that had previously encompassed the room. The Spaniard wrapped around you makes no move to reach over and end the disturbance, and neither do you. A silent battle that you two partake in every morning. Leilaâs eventual stirring lets you know that sheâll likely be the one to fold this morning. But, for the moment, she tightens her hold on you.
âMmm, estĂșpido despertador. Quiero que desaparezca,â she murmurs into your hair as you nuzzle further into her chest, stalling her leaving the bed momentarily. Exhaustion typically draws Leila back to the comfort of her native language. Having just woken up, it takes you a minute to catch her Spanish words before replying.
ââ
âIt was your idea to put it on the dresser,â you whisper wearily before reluctantly pulling away from her embrace to allow her to get up.Â
âYou should have told me not to do it.â She attempts to crawl over you to climb out of the bed, but your hands dart out, firmly grasping her hips. The sudden halt stops Leila in her path and leaves her straddling you.Â
One of your hands moves to the back of her neck, pulling her mouth to hover just near yours. You pay her soft gasp no mind as you mutter, âI did tell you,â against her lips. Before she has a chance to reply, you lean up and press your lips to hers, albeit a little too passionately for this early in the morning. Not that she minds, judging by the way she kisses you back with matching, feverish intensity.Â
Leila pulls back, one hand gripping yours to remove it from her neck. Her free hand pries your other hand away from her hip, which still holds firmly.Â
âA little early for you, no?â she asks rhetorically with a smirk before pinning your hands to the bed.Â
She leans closer to you, not close enough to kiss but close enough that you can feel every breath she takes. She just stares down at you, and you swear her eyes darken the longer she looks. The unmistakable heat in her gaze almost makes you shiver.Â
She leans in again, brushing her lips against yours for a split second before changing directions and pressing them to your neck. She places a few warm kisses up the juncture of your neck, eventually switching between sucking and gently biting. Itâs your turn to gasp when she focuses all of her attention on the sensitive spot behind your ear.Â
âOlvidĂ© que eres sensible ahĂ mismo,â she pulls back to whisper alluringly in your ear before focusing her attention on the matching spot on the other side of your neck. It also takes you a minute to translate this sentence, but this time, itâs for an entirely different reason.
The feeling of her mouth, teasing and deliberate, paired with the growing heat between you, is enough to distract from the ringing of the alarm clock that Leila still hasnât shut offâuntil it isnât.
Leila pulls back again, quickly kissing your lips before climbing out of the bed. âLo siento, cariño, that ringing is making me crazy,â she notes before continuing her earlier pursuit of turning off the alarm.
âWhy?â you trail off with a dramatic groan, pulling the blanket to cover your eyes as Leila also opens the curtains while sheâs up. Â
âSun is good for you.â Leila trails back over you and sits on the edge of the bed before attempting to pull the comforter down to reveal your face. You let her do so only to glare up at her. Itâs short-lived though as youâre unable to stop the smile that takes over your face upon seeing her grin down at you. This inability to stay serious around her remains a constant struggle.
âWeâre in the sun enough during practice.â
âNo practice today, so we do this,â Leila gestures over to the window that has quickly become the bane of your existence. âGet up, por favor,â she says with a gentle shake of your shoulders.
âWhy?â you question her for a second time.
âBecause. Vamos, levantarse!â she answers vaguely, standing up from the bed and grabbing your hand to pull you up into a sitting position. She begins to walk toward the doorway while you remain seated on your bed.
âIâm not convinced,â you call after her.
âI will see you downstairs,â she calls back, flashing you a smile before exiting the room, completely aware that youâll follow shortly after.Â
After scrolling on your phone for several minutes, you finally rise up from the bed. You close the curtains that your girlfriend so rudely opened and begin to make your way to the kitchen where she likely resides, if the smell of roasting coffee beans is anything to go by.
Leila is standing near the coffee pot with a bewildered look on her face when you enter the kitchen. Her confusion quickly turns into a smile when she notices your presence. She picks up the full mug of coffee resting on the counter.
âPara ti, mi vida,â she says as she extends the mug toward you.
âEnglish, remember,â you remind her, taking the coffee from her hands and kissing her on the cheek in return. âThank you, baby.â
âYou did not care about my Spanish earlier this morning.â Leila places her hands on your waist, pulling you into her slightly. You smile at her over the top of the mug as you bring it up to your mouth and take a sip. If youâre using the mug to shield the slight flush that has overtaken your face as a result of her words, thatâs no oneâs business but yours.
As the coffee hits your tastebuds, your face instantly contorts in disgust. Without thinking, you spit it back into the cup. Leilaâs face drops at your actions, and she pulls away from you.
âUgh, see! This is not working anymore,â Leila says, annoyance present in her voice as she looks at you.Â
You canât help the way your heart slightly drops at her words. âWhatâs not working?â
âThis,â she repeats and gestures rapidly between the two of you. She offers no further explanation, but you note the seriousness on her face. You look down at the mug in your hands, hoping that somewhere in the coffee resides the answer to your question. But the liquid offers no answers. You glance back up at her.
âWeâre not working anymore?â you press with your eyebrows raised. Youâre sure your internal bafflement is being reflected by the look on your face.
âNo. Obviously, we are not,â she says again. The way your heart drops only amplifies at her clarification. You place the mug down on the counter and step closer to her. She notices the confusion on your face and continues speaking before you can ask any follow-up questions.
âThis,â she starts, walking over to where the coffee machine sits on the counter, âis not working. I cannot make coffee for you in this machine. It is too old.â She inspects the machine, similar to how you inspected your coffee just now. Sheâs likely looking for answers just as you did, though her question concerns the machineâs ability to work properly where yours regarded the state of your relationship.
âYouâre talking about the coffee machine?â you ask, letting out a sigh of relief before she even confirms the miscommunication.
âYes,â she answers, your earlier confusion now being reflected on her face as she notices your reaction to her words. âEstĂĄ bien. If you want to keep it, we can. I will keep trying,â she says comfortingly, unaware of the internal turmoil you just experienced.
âNo, youâre right, itâs old. We can get a new one,â you say, still reeling. You reach over for your mug before thinking better of it and placing it back on the counter.
âWhy are you being weird?â she asks with a nervous laugh as she reaches around you to grab your mug from the counter. She turns toward the sink and dumps the coffee down the drain.
âIâm not,â you respond, moving around the counter to sit on the stool across from her. Leila remains standing in the kitchen, her disapproving hum barely audible over the quiet clink of her placing the mug in the dishwasher.
âYou are,â Leila counters as she shuts the dishwasher and focuses all of her attention on you. When you donât reply, she tilts her head slightly, raising one of her eyebrows.
âItâs fine. Iâm fine, Lei,â you brush it off, hoping she wonât press you any further.
âTell meee,â she draws out as she follows your earlier path, rounding the corner and coming up behind you. She wraps her arms around your waist and rests her head on your shoulder. âTell me!â she demands again, giving your body a gentle shake. Youâre nearly certain from her tone that sheâs pouting at you.
âI-,â you start, but before you can get any more words out, Leila turns your stool around so youâre facing in her direction. âI thought you were trying to say that our relationship isnât working,â you reveal quietly, looking away from her intense eye contact for a moment, slightly embarrassed at your misunderstanding.Â
Her face falls. âAh, no! Nunca, mi vida. It is perfect,â she reassures earnestly before pulling you into a tight hug, lifting her leg to rest her bent knee on the side of the stool youâre sitting on, leaning closer to you. You hug her back without a second thought (or, really, without a first conscious thought). She pulls back after a prolonged minute or so.
âNow you know how it feels,â she refers to your misinterpretation of her earlier words, Leila typically the one to misunderstand what youâre saying when you speak English with each other.Â
âIs it this embarrassing for you every time?â She considers your question briefly, eventually deciding on a simple âNo.â
âWhatever,â you mutter and gently push her away. The lack of effort in your action tells her that you donât actually want her to move away from you. You share a smile as she indeed picks up on this and leans back in, resting her forehead on yours.
âThis is why I work on my English. And you work on your English teaching skills,â she teases.
You let out a sound thatâs a mix between a laugh and a gasp. âI try my best. My student is difficult sometimes.â
âGrosero. I am easy.â You hold back a smirk at the innuendo in her words, the double meaning completely lost on her.Â
âYes, you are,â you agree, leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on her forehead in an attempt to hide the growing grin on your face.
âYou are laughing?â You shake your head at her question and pull her into another hug, hoping itâll distract her from the conversation.
It does.
âĄ
âLeila!â you groan as she steals the ball right from under your feet.Â
âI am too fast for you, amor, eh?â she teases as she runs past you, a smirk present on her face.
âShow-off,â you mutter upon closing the distance that she put between you. She gently kicks the ball back over to you, and you pass it back. The two of you fall into a steady back and forth as the ball bounces between your feet.
âI have an idea,â Leila eventually says, resting her foot on the ball youâve just passed her way. âYou run past me and score. I defend.â
âEasy,â you say confidently, gesturing in a silent ask for the ball back.Â
âVale, show me,â she says before kicking the ball back in your direction, gesturing for you to start running.
At her insistence, you start running down the field with the ball at your feet. Youâve barely run for ten seconds before sheâs intercepting your path with a tackle that sends you to the ground. You groan again as she successfully ruins your plan for the second time.
She jumps to her feet, rushing over to where youâre sprawled out dramatically. âEstĂĄs bien?â she asks, and you can hear the concern in her voice. You nod as she offers you both of her hands, but before she can pull you up, you tug her down to the ground with you. You share a laugh as she lands beside you before she leans closer, her face hovering just above yours. She looks down at you with a smirk that youâre no stranger to. âThat was me going easy on you, by the way.â
âYouâre annoying,â you say with a roll of your eyes as you reach up to brush a piece of her hair behind her ear.
Despite your words, her smirk softens into something warmer. âYou love me still, sĂ?â
âObviously,â you say lightly. She looks at you expectantly, and you know exactly what sheâs waiting for. âI love you,â you borderline whisper. Disregarding the annoyance you were just feeling toward the Spanish woman, you attempt to pour all the love you can muster into your declaration. She deserves it.Â
âHmm, how much?â
âToo much for me to comprehend sometimes,â you admit. Sometimes youâre awed by how soft she makes you. Her gaze softens at your words, the affection in her eyes matching that which is present in yours whenever you so much as think about her.
âTe quiero tantito,â she murmurs as her fingertips brush up and down your arm. Youâre not surprised in the slightest at the feeling of goosebumps that follows.
You tilt your head. âTantito? What is that?â
âIt means, âI love you a little bit.ââ Her lips turn up into a half-smile.Â
âA little bit?â you say with a raised eyebrow in disbelief. A flicker of amusement crosses her face before she lets out a soft laugh, her smile growing into a full grin.
âMhm. It is like a joke, no? Because, obviously, I love you a lot,â she corrects. âMaybe we stop with my English and focus on your Spanish.â
You give her a smile in return and shake your head.Â
âWe can start lessons now. Say âgolazo.â The thing you did not score past me,â she clarifies with a laugh, this one more hearty than the one she graced your ears with moments ago. Youâre unable to stop the laugh that she pulls from you.
âGolazo. Youâve taught me that word already,â you remind her.
âOh, bien! That means âgood.ââ Before you can reiterate that your Spanish knowledge isnât this limited, she continues with a grin. âNow you say, âLeila es el amor de mi vida.ââ
Your cheeks warm as youâre again able to make out what sheâs wanting you to say. You hold her gaze. âLeila es el amor de mi vida,â you say, sincerity present in your voice.
Her grin melts into something tender. âGood job,â she murmurs, the adoration in her voice impossible to miss. She leans down to kiss you, and you bask in it for a minute before she pulls back, lingering close enough for her breath to merge with yours. âIt means-â
âI know what it means, baby,â you cut her off gently, your heart skipping a beat at the feeling of her so close.
âWhat about this one? âTĂș tambiĂ©n eres el amor de mi vida,ââ she asks, adoration still present in both her voice and the way sheâs gazing down at you.
âThank god. Imagine how embarrassing it wouldâve been for me if I wasnât yours,â you reply, only half joking and once again not needing her translation.Â
Her laugh rings out, and you canât imagine being happy without hearing it every day for the rest of your life.
a/n: honestly this wasnât supposed to be this long but I got carried away and kinda steered off course. anyway I donât know a word of spanish and used google translate so please feel free to tell me if anything needs editing! thank you!!!

Silent and Loud // Vivianne Miedema
a/n: based off this request. Hope you like it :)
Do you know the saying: opposites attract? Well, that was definitely true, at least for Viv and you. You couldn't be more different, the only known common thing was that you both played football.
Viv was shy and quiet while you were adventurous and loud.
She was tall, you were small.
She was a striker, you a defender.
scoring - assisting
Her love language was act of service while yours was words of affirmimation.
Yet you couldnât help but let the dutch steal your heart. There was a mutual pining between the two of you - everyone knew. You told her when she looked good or when she did something great, to which she always responded with a stuttery "thank you" whereas Viv made sure that you were okay or if you were missing something she would give it to you (a hair tie or anything) or made sure that you didn't become too careless/reckless.
Actually, you were made for each other, except that neither you nor Viv saw it, only everyone else.
-
"Viv! That was beautiful" you yelled as you jumped on her, celebrating her goal against Chelsea.
Even after the game, you couldnât shut up about that banger of a goal. It was almost criminal, thatâs how brilliant it was. Her cheeks flushed red, her fingers playing with jersey, getting very shy by all your praise.
-
You sat in the canteen next to Viv as Lia, Leah and others were also sitting at your table, enjoying their lunch before heading to the gym. Viv was in a conversation with Leah and Jen while Lia was telling you about her trip to her home country. The clumsy self you were you smacked your knife of the table with your elbow as you tried to adjust your sitting posture. Meanwhile Viv was still in her conversation but saw out of the corner of her eye that you leaned down to pick up your knife, not breaking the conversation her long arm streched over the table to the edge of it, her hand resting above it so you wouldnât hit your head and hurt yourself.
-
The dutch and you always had this connection, on and off pitch, it was special, it was magical. Despite the fact that you were complete opposites, you understood each other even without words. Sometimes a simple look was enough.
However, your confidence did not help you to have the guts to ask her out, there was no way she would like you (back). Most of the time you didn't even notice when Viv did something nice for you because you didn't have your eyes on the situation and the gestures that she consciously showed you, offering a hair tie, etc. was something any other player would have done too - which didnât mean you didnât appreciate it.
No one of the both of you intended to act on their feelings but when Leahs birthday rolled by and she invited you to her party every thing took a turn. You drowned shot after shot, dancing with Leah as Viv drank her cocktails with relish. Slowly but surely the alcohol hit her. If you can't taste the alcohol in fruity drinks, why stop drinking? you can drink so much of it until you get dizzy, then you'll notice the alcohol that was actually in it.
Thatâs how Viv and you both ended up drunk at Leahâs party. It wasnât until midnight though before you approached her, the pretty lady standing all by herself. "Whatâs a pretty lady doing all alone?" you slurred, your body automatically leaning against hers, "Not alone anymore" the dutch replied, her accent thick. "I wanna kiss you" you said, the striker taking matters in her own hands as she pressed her lips against your own.
You didnât remember how you got to Vivs home, you didnât know how ended up naked in her bed, the only thing you knew was that it was - even drunk - the best night of your life.
Early in the morning, you slipped out of her bed, scrambling your stuff from the floor as the striker slept peacefully. You wanted to leave yet you couldnât, at least not without placing a glass of water and pain killers on her nightstand. Leaving the house, you looked at your phone, dozens of messages from the skipper, your best friend

Where r u?
U good?
Call me
!!!
With a quick click on your phone, you called the english captain who answered immediately. "Hi" you said, not really knowing where to go, your car wasnât here. "Where are you?" the defender asked without even greeting you, "didnât see you going home"
"Yeah long story actually" you nervously, chuckled, "Can you pick me up?"
"Only If you buy me breakfast and thereâs a story time"
"Deal"
You sent her a text with your location, the blonde on her way.
Let's see what you had to say.
So while you remembered everything that happened between the dutch and you, she didnât remember anything.
She didnât remember kissing you,
she didnât remember cherishing you,
she didnât remember telling you she loved you.
-
You hoped Viv would text you, say something to you about the night but she didnât. She acted like she normally would, heartbreak then struck when you overheard a conversation between her and Wally.
"Nope, donât remember anything besides the delicious cocktails"
The rest of the day your mood had been horrible. You were salty towards everyone, your game was shit but mostly you were mad at Viv and felt sorry for yourself. Actually it was kind of your own fault, how could you expect her to remember something when both of you were drunk? How could you allow yourself to get your hopes up?
Your weird behaviour didnât go unnoticed, the girls sharing looks behind your back. "Hey-" the dutchie greeted, the striker wanting to ask you if youâre alright, your salty mood effecting her more than it should.
"Fuck off"
As soon as your best friend heard the words and seeing the anger radiating from your body, she grabbed your wrist pulling you away from the tall woman.
"What the fuck!" she spat. You slapped her hand away, "Do not touch me!" as your anger bubbled up. "Get your shit together" crumbling under the blondeâs glare, her eyes softened as she saw you fighting the tears. All eyes were on you, something you didnât enjoy at all, you were humiliating yourself which wasnât your intention - you just didnât know how to control your emotions.
Looking at Leah, you asked for help, your body trembling as you couldnât open your mouth - your eyes said more than a thousand words. "Go" the defender gave a nod towards the changing rooms. Youâd never run so fast in your life. Everything was crushing down on you, you felt like you lifted all problems of everyone on your shoulders - the weight of the world.
Anger and sadness controlling your body and mind. you were no longer the ruler of yourself - you were someone in something of someone. Not yourself.
The locker room seemed small, so so small. Though it wasnât, it was like always - everthing was like usually besides that you slept with Viv, besides the fact that you remember everything and she nothing, besides the fact that you wanted Viv to remember.
Trying to calm down, you sat down, head in your hands while your breaths choked with sobs. Why did this have to happen? If only you hadn't drunk anything then you wouldn't be in this situation. "Fuck" with all your anger you smacked away the bottle which was standing next to you. The bottle flying through the room, breaking as it hit the wall.
"You shouldnât do that" a voice startled you. The dutch. You were about to say something before she cut you off "donât tell me to fuck off" she stepped further in to the room, walking to you, to stand in front of you as she leaned down, her hands resting in your thighs, "donât ever tell me to fuck off again" she placed herself in front of you, her hands still on your legs as her thumb rubbed soothing circles on them, "do you want to tell me whatâs wrong?"
"No" you answered, eyes annoyed. To be honest, you wanted to yell at her, you wanted to say 'thatâs none of your fucking business' but you couldnât. It was Viv after all, the girl that couldnât kill a fly, the Taylor Swift lover, the girl you wanted to be yours.
"Okay" she simply replied, her hands leaving your body.
"VivianneâŠ" the stikers orbs looking at you in a way that left your heart fluttering, you couldâve told her all your secrets and more. "stop looking at me like that" you breathed out, trying to contain your self-control. "Do you want me to go?"
"Yes"
Wordlessly, she stood up about follow your wishes. As she opened the door, you spoke again, "we had sex" you mumbled. She closed the door, still standing backwards to you, "what?"
"At Leahs party or rather after"
"It was you who placed the pain killers on the table"
It wasnât a question, it was a realization. As respond you hummed, looking at her back, hoping, wishing she would turn around.
"Is that why youâre in a sour mood? Because we slept together?" Finally, she turned around, her heart beating in her chest. Did you think it was mistake?
"Yes and no? Itâs complicated!" your voice grew loud, the opposite to Viv whose voice was quiet, "explain it to me"
"Why wouldnât you remember?" you cried, "you said all those nice things and now nothing!" walking around the room, your arms were wild.
"I told you i loved you" you stopped in your tracks - did she remember? "I told you, you were the prettiest girl with the prettiest eyes and prettiest smile. I told you i would treat you like the only girl in the world and love you forever" it was a rare sight to see her talk that much about her feelings - were those her feelings oder just the drunk slurs? "I will, If you let me" she stepped closer to you, coming to an end in front of you. "I meant what i said, even though i forgot it afterwards" her arms looped around your waist while yours rested on her biceps. Her eyes flicked from your own to your lips then back up.
Roles swapped - it was your turn to do something after she did the talking. You tilted your head up, standing on tip toes as you gently pressed your lips against the tall oneâs.
The kiss was short and gentle yet it told much more then words could. It was a confirmation - the silent act and the loud affirmimation meant the same.
The pining was mutual.

dazed & confused
leila ouahabi x reader
itâs your bday @sleekswosobession !!
âââ
Youâve been dragged to the go out by your friends after a stressful day. Declining at first, they insisted, so you were now at the bar, drink in hand.
The bass was thumping in the dimly lit club, tension radiating off of everyone. Watching everyone let loose, your eyes lock on a mysterious figure from across the room.
You came in swinging like Apollo I'll be feeling it tomorrow No, I ain't seeing straight, hyperventilate Knees begin to wobble
Igniting a spark of curiosity and attraction, your feet began to move, pushing you through the crowd of people, with determination in each step.
You cut my brakes and hit the throttle I couldn't stop it if I wanted Dizzy silhouette, makes me break a sweat I'm in trouble
âMind if I join you?â you shouted, over the music, giving her a charming smile.
She glanced at you, lips quirking up in a grin. âDepends on whether you can keep up.â
It was a challenge that you willingly accepted. The club was dark, bar from the little spotlights all over. You matched her movements, bodies syncing as one in a dance of seduction and intrigue. Tension growing with each beat.
âSo, whatâs your name?â You lean in closer, lips brushing against her ear.
âLeila.â
âLeila, hmm.â You smirk, leaning back, face still close together. âI like that.â Leila shakes her head, flustered, but trying not to make it obvious. âSo, what brings you here?â
âMaybe Iâm just here to look for a dance partner.â She shrugs, a look of mischief on her face.
âWell, you certainly found one.â
Your bodies moved in perfect symphony, Leila could feel your breath against her neck as you moved to the beat. As you lean in closer, Leila pushes your face out of her neck and puts you face to face.
âIt was nice dancing with you, but I gotta go.â
With that, she bids her goodbye, leaving no trace of her. Days turned into weeks and Leila was someone who you couldnât get your mind off of.
People would call you pathetic, but youâve been back to that same club every few days hoping to catch a glimpse of her again.
Oh, I've been dazed and confused From the day I met you Yeah, I lost my head And I'd do it again
Nursing on a drink, the ice began to melt as you swirl the glass around. Sighing, you look up, eyes scanning the crowd for a second before theyâre back staring down at the glass.
âWhoâre you looking for?â
Your head shoots up, eyes widening at the sight of her.
Either I've seen the light Or I'm losing my mind There's something 'bout you That's got me dazed and confused
âYou look like a lost little puppy.â Leila jutted her bottom lip out in a pout.
âLeila.â You manage to get out.
âThatâs me.â
I bet you know just what you're doing You're not the type that's used to losing First, you build me up, then with just a touch Leave me here in ruins
Her eyes meet yours and you swear that time stopped.
Something 'bout your eyes I can't even walk in a straight line Under the influence
You felt your knees buckle, barely able to keep yourself upright. The world around you is spinning while Leila was the center of it all.
She grabs your arm, dragging you to the dance floor. You forget about everything else, focused solely on her. The whole night felt like a blur.
Youâve picked up where you left off, the heat between the two of you was undeniable. Youâve, once again, surrendered yourself to her, following the way her body moves against yours.
I don't know if this is real life, real life What happens if I open my eyes, my eyes? Will I ever get my head right, head right? I don't know if this is real life, real life
You wonder if all of this was just a dream, that once you open your eyes, everything disappears. But it wasnât a dream. You have this beautiful girl in front of you, dancing with you. You are in euphoria.
âHey.â
A whisper breaks you out of your thoughts. Leila pulls you in by the neck, noses touching.
âWhy donât we get out of here?â
Goosebumps littered your body, words getting stuck in your throat. She grabs your hand, leading you out of the building.
It was a question that never needed answering.

celebration night | alex greenwood x reader
based off this request except i kind of went off script a little, only a short 1.3k for because its currently 4am right now - hope you enjoy!
mentions of anxiety (only briefly), suggestive language, smut sort of??
â
it was times like these, where you were sat in the back of a car, dolled up to the nines, when you wondered how you ended up with your girlfriend.
the two of you was en route to another awards ceremony that would be celebrating her (and her teammates) contribution to the footballing world.
you was her plus one of course, having dragged you to a couple beforehand over the course of your relationship. you weren't exactly the biggest fan of these events considering you was a very introverted person with an almost constant pit of anxiety in your stomach, but you knew how much they meant to Alex and what kind of girlfriend would you be if you weren't there supporting her?
when you first met her, at a club match you went watching for your childhood friend chloe, you already had a massive crush her. what you didn't expect was for the blonde to offer getting drinks sometime when kelly introduced you and the rest was history really.
so yeah, back to the present where you, a bartender, was keeping a strong grip on your football sensation girlfriend's hand, trying your best to keep your nerves under control. "i'll say it once i'll say it again; how do you do this all the time? how do the nerves not knock you sick?"
the older girl chuckled, "nerves turns into adrenaline - and adrenaline helps me play better." stating it simply and turning her head to press a light kiss on your temple. "you'll be fine baby; you always have me remember?" alex was aware of how your thoughts could spiral to the point of no return, how you would psychoanalyse certain situations and how you anxious you could get when in big groups like tonight will be. she knew exactly how to calm you down and for that you was thankful.
the car now pulling up outside the steps that lead to the building, a chauffeur opening the door for the blonde and you, alex got out and once again held her hand out for you to take. there was a few paparazzi/photographers outside behind the rope fences calling out your girlfriends name. "alex! alex!" "alex! whose the girl with you?!" "over here alex." after a few shots you was ushered inside where the place was already buzzing with people.
they'd gone for all white and gold decorations you gathered, having noticed the balloon arch mixed with the two colours, as well as white decorative roses scattered around in bunches and a champagne tower slap bang in the centre. you never understood the point of them if you was honest, the glasses are far too dainty to remove from the pyramid and just one accidentally nudge to the poor thing and it would come crashing down.
"y/n, alex, hiya." turning around to the familiar voice you see lucy, one of the blue-eyed girls national teammates. you liked lucy, she was one of the girls you clicked with the most when visiting alex at her european and world cup tournaments. "oh my god i feel like i haven't seen you in ages" you say as you went in for a side hug. "its only been two months y/n, has alex over here been boring you that much?" the brunette smirked while your girlfriend rolled her eyes playfully.
"she's been keeping me busy actually, last week she forced me to learn how to rollerstake for no reason." its true, the thirty-year-old was always convincing you to do the stupidest, most cheesy stuff but you don't mind. In fact, it's probably one of your favourite things about her seeing this goofier side compared to the more serious and reserved ones the fans got.
"don't act like you don't secretly love it." she said crossing her arms over her chest while you just giggled in response and pecked her lips. "i do sweetheart don't worry."
after some mindless chatter with the barcelona player, staff came out to escort people to their seats. the set-up was tables of six and you was happy to find out accompanying you on your table was mary, lucy, ella and her boyfriend joe.
complimentary alcoholic beverages were being given throughout the night which you indulged in as you watched the awards being presented one by one.
alex was up for some sort of team award if you remembered correctly, not exactly understanding the drabble of words she was saying when she first told you the news, you think its eleven people getting the same award or something if you took anything from the conversation. what you did know is that she had to go up against international players which makes the award even more special if she is to win.
the night dragged on as you listened to speech after speech after speech. eventually, the time had come for 'FIFPRO Women's World 11' "that's it." you thought to yourself as the man read the title of the honour, now recalling alex telling you about fifa's women starting eleven.
"now introducing your women's starting eleven team!" the massive sliding doors opened up, revealing the ladies one by one. An overwhelming sense of pride engulfed you as you watched your partner stand on stage in her very sexy suit (if you do say so yourself) with trophy in hand. with a quick few lines from each girl, they made their way back to their seats. standing up, you beamed at alex and placed your hands on her cheeks "i'm so so proud of you." she leans in and kisses your lips, smudging your red lipstick slightly.
"you in the mood for celebrating later?" parting away from your lips, she whispered in your ear. you could see her eyes filled with lust which meant only one thing. offering to get out of there, alex and you say your goodbyes to your friends/her teammates. To be honest the ceremony was dying down anyways so it was only a matter of time before you actually did leave.
as soon as your front door closed hands grabbed your waist and pressed you onto the wall. lips attached to your neck, biting and sucking at the skin as you gave in to the quiet noises of pleasure before they found your mouth once again.
the kisses were sloppy and eager as the defender swiped her tongue across your bottom lip gaining entrance into your mouth, tongues in a fight for dominance.
she stopped. dragging you by the hand into your bedroom and pushing you onto the end of the bed. this time, she snaked her hand under your top, reaching up to massage your breast. "you're beautiful you know that?" alex watched in amusement as you tried to stay quiet while she pressed her knee up against your centre. "tell me what you want princess."
literally just the words she was saying was enough to send you over the edge if you let it. "i want- i want you lower." the breathlessness in your voice made the blonde smirk, complying with your wishes. she made her way down to your pants menacingly slow, undoing the button and sliding the silk material off until they were disregarded somewhere in the room. "can i just say, I'm practically naked and you're out here still in your suit." as much as you loved the suit, you'd much rather be seeing her toned abs right now.
taking the hint, she quickly thew the outfit off, now hovering over you in just her black lingerie. "better?" she asks and you nod, shamelessly raking your eyes down her whole body.
the man city player busied herself with tracing patterns up your thighs, getting dangerously close to your centre without actually touching it. "alex please."
toying with the elastic on your thong she looked up at you. "please what? i want to hear you say it." the lust was practically oozing out of her mouth right now. slotting her hand under the mesh material of your underwear she repeated herself, "say it y/n."
your brain was going into overdrive from the teasing she had given you; your chest heaving. "alex..please fuck me already."
she caught your lips in a passionate kiss. "good girl."

The other side of Manchester | Alessia Russo
Alessia Russo x foden!reader
Phil Foden x foden!reader
Summary: A anonymous dating app lets Alessia Russo, the Manchester United star striker, and Y/n Foden, the die hard citizen, fall for each other.
Warning: language, rivals to lovers?
English is not my first language
Masterlist
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
Bantr. It was the new trendy dating app everyone's using. It's a complete anonymous dating app, where you find your partner without any pictures or whatsover, only the things your counterpart says the you. This is the formal description of Keeley Jones, the developer of Bantr. Everyone in your surrounding and who's single has this app, exept for you. It wasn't like you weren't against the idea, but you didn't believed in every trend. With you the only single one who has not the app, your and your brothers teammates were basicly forcing you to download this app.
"Comon, Y/n. You know it going to work, since you look more for personality and everything. And wouldn't be home alone anymore." Your brother whined. Since weeks he tries to get you to download this app. He even put your own teammates against you, who were always on your side.
"I'm everything but lonely, Phil. And who knows maybe in two weeks no ones using this shitty app anymore" He raised an eyebrow.
"Y/n/n you are lonely. And who cares about this stuff. If you don't do it on your free will I will. And I will find you a hot chic who has both looks and personality." With that he grabbed your phone to make his threatment reality.
"Alright, alright. But at least let me do the fucking profil on my own."
"Alright, heartbreacker" He smiled as he gave you your phone back.
"I hate you" you said as you opend the app and logged yourself in. Phil kept a close eye on your phone until Jack walk over to the next room
"Yo Jack. You own me 20 bucks!" Phil yelled at him.
"I can't belive you fucking bet on me" You said shaking your head.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
On the other side of Manchester it looked a bit different.
"Tooney, I think I'm gonna delete this app" Alessia sighed.
"What Bantr? Don't you dare." Ella muffled with a mouth full of crips.
"Because it's useless."
With that Ella stop whatever movie they were watching. It was movie night at Alessias like every friday. "Why? I thought there was this one girl you wanted to meet up with."
"Well she canceled"
"What? Why?"
"I don't know. Can we just go on with the movie?"
"Of course yeah. But I swear on my boyfriend that I and this app will find some one for you." Ella said while putting on the tv again.
"No don't swear on him. He's actually nice" Alessia said smilling.
A few hours and two movies later Alessia and Ella still sat on the couch, with Ella sleeping besides her bestfriend. Alessia often tought about going also to sleep but the movies always kept her awake. So the blonde finally decides to put the tv off and closing her eyes too. But as she wanted to drift off, her phone beeped. With a sigh she looks at her phone and frowned at the bantr message.
Hey, sorry to disturb you. But my brother wouldn't leave me alone, if I wouldn't text anyone on this stupid app. ;)
Alessia smiled at this message. She ddebated if she's going to answer or not. In the end she decided to give it a try.
Hi. No everythings fine. I share the same opinion with this app. My bestfriend forced me to get it.
A thing Alessia didn't know was, that you were smilling on your phone to her respond. Happy that there was someone who shared the same opinion as you.
Looks like we have the same story. So do you maybe know how this app works properly?
I could help you indeed
I'm all ears, Bantr master
Alessia couldn't stop smiling. She wrote with many girls, acording the Ella it's necessary to find the perfect match, but never smiled this much in the beginning. She adjusted herself on the couch and text the anymous person.
You texted each other for hours until you had to put a stop into this. On sunday you had a game and with that a little training and a meeting. Your told her you had to work, not what you do for living. You didn't feel like telling a stranger that you are a footballer and maybe get used for this. But your texting partner didn't mind and you fell asleep thinking about her.
Alessia on the other side couldn't sleep, thinking to much about her texting partner. The conversation you two had was easy. It was easy to talk to you. Easier then with the other girls she texted with.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
Ella woke up, searching for her bestfriend on the couch. Confussed she couldn't found Alessia, Ella walked around Alessias house, only to find her sitting on the kitchen counter with a smile in her face. She was looking down at the phone in her hands.
"What got you so smiley today, Lessi?" Ella asked. With that Alessia looked up and aknowledge for the first time her bestfriends precence.
"Nothing!" Alessia said quickly and turned her phone off quick. Too quick for Ella to believe.
"Well I think, you got a match on bantr, right?" Alessia nodded her head frusterated. There was no point in lying.
"Ohh. What's her name? Dies she lives in Manchester? Tell me everything you know." Ella commanded.
"Well she's a private person" Ella nodded suspicious. "Her names Y/n...uhm... yes she lives in Manchester and her favourite colour is Y/f/c"
Ella looked at her bestfriend dumbfounded. "Is that everything?" Alessia nodded her head slowly. "Oh dios mĂo. You really don't know how to talk to people. But let me handle this... Oh I got one. Ask her if she supports United or City."
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
"So how's bantr?" Lauren Hemp, your bestfriend, welcomed you, when you entered the pitch
"Good morning to you too, and how do you even fucking know about that one?" You asked her confussed while you tied your shoelaces.
"I have my trust sources" You shook your head. Your brother must tell someone and one of his teammates told it Lauren or it was Jack who told then Lauren. "So found any matches?" She asked curious.
"Yeah, I started texting with someone yesterday" You said proudly.
"Show me!" You gave Lauren your phone, so she could read the chat. "Why aren't you answering her?" She shoved your into your face.
"You see the kind off question she wrote down, right? So know imagine she supports fucking united. I wouldn't know what the fuck to do."
"You don't do anything, silly. You just have to shake of your pride and look over this, mate, if you like her. You do, right?" Lauren asked with a smile.
"The fuck, Lauren. I don't even know her. We texted yesterday. How can I like her then?"
"Because I know you. But you can't tell me you don't know anything."
"Well, her name is Alessia-"
"Uh like Alessia Russo." Lauren interrupted you. It was to tease you, because she knew about your rivalery you had in the league and who gets the starting on the Lionesses, since you both a striker.
"Don't Lauren, or I fucking-"
"Hey! Everyone to the middle!" Your coach yelled. As soon as everyone was in position, he went on. "Alright girls. Tomorrow we have a game to warm us up against United next week. As we know Tottenham is nearly on relegation, I do not wanna see any mistakes. It's also important that we win this game, so we are going to be second, since Chelsea lost against Arsenal. And with a win next week we are going to be first." He looked everyone of his players in the eyes. "Okay, so today is a short training with an tactic meeting afterwards. So want you all be ready at 2 o'clock in the meeting."
With that the training started. It was not intense, just something to train the things that didn't worked. After the coach dismissed y'all, you went instenly to your phone, to look what Alessia had texted you. You texted her in a pause.
Well isn't this sad, because I think Manchester is red ;)
You smiled at your phone for a short time. Something that didn't went unnoticed by your bestfriend.
Don't know if you support woman football, but they are playing next week. I think you going to see there, that Manchester is blue.
"Make sure your ready at 2, heartbreacker" Lauren said, when she walked to the showers.
Quickly you grabbed your towel and speeded after her. "Where do you get all this Informationen?.... Wait!... Are you talking with Jack again?" You yelled and ran after her.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
In the next days the texting with each other has grow to an routine of the other. When you had your meeting for the game against Tottenham, what you won 4:0 with a hattrick of yours, you couldn't keep your hands and eyes of the screen. It went this far that the coach had to take it away from you.
With the win against Tottenham ManCity was one point apart from ManUnited. The tension got thicker in training and everyone worked hard to win this derby.
You and Alessia had a bet to finally meet after the long time of writting. If City wins Alessia had to orginze the date and if United wins you had to it. It gave you both something to work harder, to impress the other one, even none of you know that you both are playing profionall football for the Manchester clubs.
You felt attracted towards the woman. You liked her personality and of course that she is big football fan, who also watched the womans game. She on the other side felt like she had fallen for you. Alessia was known as a person who falls in love very easily. It has it pros and cons. One con she doesn't even know you properly. She only knew a version you could have created. But she was looking forward to the date.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
It was matchday. Your nerves went crazy like on every other big game. Steph Houghton gave the last prep talk before everyone lined up after her. You stood to your annoce next to Alessia Russo. You gave each other a look that meant, whoever wins this game gets the starting spot for the upcoming international break.
The game was intense. Both didn't want to give the other the win and with that the first place. It was 35th, when Alessia shot a beautiful goal with an assist from Ella. The United girls celebrated the goal loud with their fans. Then there was halftime. You went with anger of yourself in your locker-room, but it went away quickly, when you saw that Alessia had texted you.
1:0 for me, opps
You wish, honey. City still got full 45 min to score at least one goal
Not going to happen
Ella saw Alessias smile and smiled to herself before she sat next to her. She looked at her bestfriends phone before their coach called for everyones attention.
The game got more intense, than it already was. You had chances over chances, but nothing worked. Neither it was Mary or the last defender.
With that the game ended 1:0 and United stayed on top of the table. You were ready for a teasing comment from Alessia, like always when she wins against you, but that didn't happened. She just ran to the locker room. Weird, you thought. She always stays for the fans in the end. Since you played abroad, you also just went to the locker room. You were frusterated with yourself. You wanted to win against Alessia, but also wanted to impress the girl you had to admit were falling for.
When you entered the locker room you could see the disappointed and frustration in your teammates faces. You the first thing you did after you sat down, like all the other times, you went straight to your phone and of course did Alessia message you.
So since Manchester is red again, where does our date lead us. ;) âĄ
Alessia was eager to finally meet you. To see if she not fell for a version the other person created. So she went straight to the lockerroom, forgetting for once the fans and texted you. She knew it sounded desprate, but she hoped you were too. Slowly the other girls were entering the locker room and started to celebrate their.
"Lessi, why are you on your phone? Come celebrate with us. You can text or whatever later." Ona said. But the blonde ressist.
"I'm good Ona" But the spaniard wasn't not pleased with the answer. She wanted to ask Alessia again, but interrupted by Mary, who put the music on.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:* â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
Today was the day for your meeting with the girl you had fallen for over the last two weeks. It felt like falling for a mystery. Alessia wanted nothing fancy, like going out to a restaurant or something. So you decided to go to Café. Both of you were nervous to meet the other person. Alessia was a mess and put on every outfit she had. But with Ellas help she finally found something to wear. She also helped Alessia with the hair, that she at the end wore down.
You were also not better. Lauren came over and helped you with an outfit and gave advice on how to style your hair, but also to calm down your nerves. She swears she had never seen you this nervous. And of course your brother called you. He told you how he knew you find someone on this app and that he wishes you the best luck. With a look in the mirror you made your way to the Café.
But you still were running late so you texted her about it.
It's fine I'll wait outside
And she did it waited for you, but it looks like you were not coming.
Because you knew that Café very well, you drove a little bit different, so Alessia wouldn't see straight away. With a last look in the mirror of your car, you walked to the Café. But as you got closer to it, you couldn't believe your eyes. Alessia mf Russo stood there with her phone in her hand.
I'm outside. Where are you?
And now it hit you. The name Alessia, supporting Manchester United, having two brother. It now all made sense. And you stood there on your spot frozen and for the first time you didn't know what to do.
"Fuck me"
Part 2 maybe?

Hermanitaâs Broken Nose| Laia Aleixandri x Reader
Words: 1.6k Summary: Youâre technically âoff limitsâ to any of your sisterâs friends, but that doesnât stop Laia. It also doesnât stop the ball coming for your nose Warnings: Angst, no proofreading what so ever because i'm with family sorryy Requested by - @deynacastellonaswife
âMarĂa will kill us if she finds out Lai.â I try to catch my breath, hands resting against Laiaâs chest.
âMapi lives an ocean away.â A ghost of a kiss is pressed to my lips in reassurance.
âNo, she lives 1825 kilometres away. Not even that will stop her wrath if she finds out one of her friends is dating her hermanita.â The dim light of the Manchester City utilities closet was beginning to make my eyes strain as I looked at my secret girlfriend.
âYou know the exact distance between Manchester and Barcelona?â a teasing grin spreads across her face as she pushes open the door, looking around to make sure no one will see us.
âSĂ. You donât? Usually, I use it when Iâm in need of comfort, my sister isnât really that far if I need her. But your teasing is taking that away.â A joking jab in her side sends Laia running and screaming back to the pitch.
No one is there to meet us, the other girls still having lunch and relaxing, so we take some time to play around with the ball. Laia begs to practice penalties, so I line up with my goalie gloves tightly on my hands, waiting for her to kick the ball. I dive back and forth as she goes to score, managing to catch or stop the ball often enough for her to want to keep going.
I begin to get tired. My hand rarely meets the ball and I stop putting effort into my dives but she doesnât notice.
âLai⊠I gotta stop bebĂ©. Itâs too much.â Iâm already sitting on the ground as Laia takes a final kick, not being able to stop in time after my plea for a break.
Itâs a beautiful ball. It spins and floats down perfectly, but it doesnât hit the net. Instead, it comes barrelling down toward me, and slams aggressively into my nose. The pain radiates across my face, and I feel the warm blood start to trickle out of my nose as I groan in pain. I lean forward, trying to find a safe place above my nostrils for me to pinch, and Laia comes rushing toward me.
âMierda! Lo siento coriño. Necesitas ayuda y poco hielo.â (Fuck! Iâm so sorry sweetheart. You need help and some ice) I reach out for her but sheâs already sprinting toward the medical room before I can say anything.
~~~~~
âHermanita! How on earth did you break your nose?â MarĂa and Ingrid sit in the Barcelona sun as we facetime, the older of the two questioning me with an accusatory tone.
âLaia. We were practicing penalties, and I sat down for a break, but it was too late⊠she kicked a beautiful penalty, but I was not in a good spot. Came right for my face.â To finish my statement, I point to the cast over my nose.
My sister tries, yet fails, to conceal her laughter while Ingrid pouts, eyes full of concern.
âDin stakkars kjĂŠre! Are you healing okay?â (you poor dear!) my sisterâs girlfriend was a ball of sunshine and kindness, you couldnât not love her, so in return Iâd begun to learn some Norwegian so we could both speak each otherâs languages. MarĂa tried to join me, but decided that 2 languages was enough for her, leaving her confused whenever Ingrid and I decided to test my new skill.
âI am, Laia felt really bad so sheâs taking care of me.â Itâs a simple lie to explain the random items that are very clearly not mine that are littered around the apartment behind me.
Laia had moved into my apartment mere months ago, not long after we started dating. Her clothes were already filling up my cupboard and small trinkets dawned my kitchen counter tops and tables.
âGood. Where is she? No one hurts my baby sister and gets away with it.â Despite her previous laughing, MarĂaâs lips pull tight and she becomes serious, looking around my screen as if she would be able to spot the Spaniard.
âOut getting groceries. Sheâll be back soon, you can rip into her then. Shouldnât you be worrying about your own injury by the way?â MarĂa had torn the meniscus in her right knee during training and was out for the rest of the season. A significantly worse injury than a simple broken nose.
âI have Ingrid for that!â She smiles goofily at the Norwegian beside her as Bagheera jumps onto her lap, sniffing his way toward the camera my sister is holding up.
The black cat begins to meow and paw at the screen, and I smile, but quickly let out a squeal of pain and nearly grab my nose. Perhaps a little dramatic, I grant myself a pass.
âFuck you and your cute ass cat MarĂa! God that hurt.â
âDonât talk about him like that!â
-
We talk for quite some time, that I forget about the impending arrival of the girl who most certainly wasnât supposed to be my girlfriend.
âWe should probably go soon-â right as Ingrid makes the comment, Laia walks through the door.
âHola bebĂ©! How are you feeling?â after placing the bags on the kitchen bench she makes her way over. She leans down and kisses me softly but I canât find it in me to kiss her back, too shocked.
âQUE CARAJO?â (WHAT THE FUCK?) Laia freezes beside me at the sound of my sisterâs voice booming around the apartment.
âNow might be a good time for us to go.â Ingrid, ever the angel, reaches across her girlfriend and hangs up the call.
Laia and I give each other a look before I stand up. I knock my phone off the couch beside me and begin pacing the length of the apartment. Laia watches with wide eyes, unsure of what to do as I pull at my hair and try not to run my hands over my face. Avoiding the broken bone seems to be hard in times of worry.
Eventually she stands in front of me and grabs me by the shoulders, physically shaking me to snap me out of my panic.
âItâll be okay. Itâs not like sheâll fly over just to tell us off.â In a moment of foolishness, I nod in agreement and fall into Laiaâs arms. She presses kisses to my shoulder as I rest my chin on her own shoulder.
-
Like I said, a moment of foolishness. Not 2 days later, MarĂa was knocking on my door.
âSĂ© que estĂĄs ahĂ! Open up!â (I know youâre in there!) I have no choice but to open the one thing separating Laia and I from the rage of my sister.
Laia stands beside me, hand squeezing my own. Both of us were terrified of what the older girl would have to say but knew we had to face the music. I can hear Mrs Goldfinch, the single mum next door, telling, or yelling, at MarĂa to stop. Itâs hard not to laugh at the shocked and rather embarrassed face of my sister as the door swings open.
âLaia Aleixandri when I get my fucking hands on you!â she comes storming toward us so fast that I barely have time to shove my girlfriend behind me. Her injury doesnât slow her down at all.
âMapi! Mapi! We can talk about this!â Laia tries to reason with her but there is a flame in MarĂaâs eyes that show no mercy.
âNo, I told you all, no messing around with my hermana. I told you there would be consequences if you did, so here we are.â
âMarĂa! I am a grown woman, I can decide who I date myself. When I was 15? I wouldâve understood, but Iâm 24 now. I love you but who I date is up to me. And Laia is it for me.â The fury in my sisterâs eyes dissipates quickly.
âIâm sorry, Iâm just trying to protect you.â
âI know, and I appreciate it so much, but this is for me to decide.â MarĂa surges forward and hugs me, barely missing my nose.
Laia stands awkwardly behind me, smiling at the interaction. I reach over to her to pull her into the hug.
âI love you both so much.â Laia leaves a kiss on my head and MarĂa squeezes me tighter.
-
MarĂa stays for a week before heading back to Barcelona for a check up on her knee. Laia and I spend the day after she leaves, curled up in bed, watch movies. My nose is okay enough to not hurt all the time, almost completely healed, so I rest my head on her chest, kissing wherever I can reach.
Similarly, she presses kisses to me head and draws patterns on my back. Both of us are close to falling asleep when she finally speaks up.
âIâm honestly glad that we got that out of the way. I love you but Mapi terrifies me.â A grin spears across my face.
âYou looove me? I love you too bebĂ©.â I can feel the joking roll of her eyes before I look up at her.
Without second thought, I press a deep kiss to her lips. We both turn out head to better accommodate the gesture.
âFuck my nose!â the movement pushes the healing bone into Laiaâs own nose and it begins throbbing in pain all over again.
âLo siento coriño! Not again. Iâll get you some ice.â She ashamedly looks down as she walks to the kitchen.
Thereâs no one else Iâd rather break my nose.
Clingy | Vivianne Miedema x Man City!Reader
5k celebration prompt: "Do you really think she likes that you're so clingy?"
Woso masterlist | Words: 1.3k
-----
You had been at City for a few years now, and your teammates knew you well. They knew you loved the team, and hanging out together, but they also knew that you werenât as affectionate as most of them were.Â
Never did your teammates think anything of you not being affectionate with them. It wasnât something everyone enjoyed, and they knew that. They were just happy to have you around.
However when Viv joined the team, all of a sudden they saw a shift in your affection.Â
The first time they noticed something was when you were on the bus, sitting next to Viv. Her head leaning on your shoulder, after she had fallen asleep. Most of your teammates had seen the moment, but figured Viv had just nodded off, and you didnât want to wake her.
But it wasnât just that moment. It didnât matter in what environment you were, Viv always found a way to be near you.
When walking towards the pitch for training, Viv would loop her arm through yours. You never shrugged her off, and your teammates noticed there how naturally you let it happen.
During drills at training, she would nudge your shoulder ever so often while waiting for the next drill. Sometimes it was to point something out, other times it was to joke around.
Even during games. When you and Viv would both sit on the bench, she made sure to sit next to you. When someone would try to squeeze in, she would subtly shift so she could keep her spot next to you.
When you were out with some of the girls, they noticed that Viv would place her hand on your arm or leg casually, like it was the most normal thing ever. It might be a normal thing for most people, but for you it wasnât.
The girls had never seen you let anyone get so close to you, and they kept being amazed. They couldnât wrap their head around the fact that you let Viv be so clingy, while usually you didnât even like when people touched you in general. Were you just letting it happen because you didnât want to make Viv feel bad? Or were you enjoying it as much as she was?
It was the first movie night since Viv joined, that someone decided to voice their thoughts. The movie started and to no one's surprise, Viv sat down next to you. It didnât take long for her to get comfortable and cuddle into your side, her legs resting on yours.Â
About halfway through the movie, you got a call. âSorry, I have to take this.â You whispered into Vivâs ear. Gently pulling your body away from underneath hers. Some of your teammates shot you questioning looks. âItâs okay, just keep playing the movie. Iâll be right back.â
You moved into the hallway of Jillâs apartment, closing the door behind you to block the noise that was coming from the living room before you picked up the phone.
Viv looked after you, sad to have lost the comfort that you were giving her. Alanna noticed the longing looks she was sending to the door. âViv, do you really think she likes that you're so clingy?" The question came out rougher than intended, but Alanna went with it anyway.
Her head turned to Alanna and the rest of the girls. âYeah, why wouldnât she?â Viv asked with her brow slightly furrowed. Surely if you didnât like her doing so, you would have told her by now.
The movie was paused and all attention was on your conversation now. âWell, itâs just that Iâve never seen her be touchy with anyone. In fact Iâve seen her push people off or tell them off when theyâre touching her for too long.âÂ
Some of the girls chuckled, and Lauren added, âItâs commonly known that she doesnât like it when people touch her.â A statement that came with a few nods from the rest of the girls.
Before you could say anything, Jill jumped in. âYeah, well you guys donât know y/n outside of City. I grew up with those two, theyâve always been like this.âÂ
Kerstin build up Jillâs point more. âLiterally. When I joined them at the national team, I for real thought they were dating.â
Vivâs cheeks turn red at Kerstinâs words, peaking the interest of the team even further than the conversation about if you liked the clinginess or not.
You returned to the living room and all eyes were on you. It felt a little uneasy, so you quickly sat down next to Viv again. But instead of her leaning into your side like she usually did, she kept sitting up straight. It looked like she was actively making sure that she wasnât touching you.
The whole situation felt awkward. The movie paused, and all eyes on you. Well, all eyes except Vivâs, who seemed to be ignoring you at all costs. âCan someone please tell me whatâs going on?â
Jill exchanged a quick look with Alanne before speaking up, deciding it was best if she took the lead in answering. âWe were just talking about how close you and Viv are. Nothing bad!âÂ
Your eyes narrowed at the addition of the ânothing badâ. No one ever added that when that was the case.Â
"Right," Lauren added, trying to lighten the mood but failing miserably. "We were just saying itâs surprisingâsince youâre not usually, you know, touchy with anyone."
You look between them, a frown forming on your face. âOkay, and?â You didnât like when people analysed you in the first place, but why did they have to bring Viv into it?
âWell,â Alanna spoke up after the rest of the team seemed to hesitate. âwe were wondering if youâre actually okay with it. You donât really let people touch you ever. But Jill said you two have been this way for ages, and thatâs kind of where the conversation ended.â
Vivâs posture and refusal to meet your eye, suddenly made sense. They had said something to make her doubt herself, or even worse make her doubt you and your actions.Â
âSeriously?â You snap at them, feeling the anger boil inside your chest. âDonât you have something better to do than analyse who I let into my personal space?â
The team looked taken back, not expecting your anger. You realised it had come out sharper than intended, so after taking a deep breath, you softened your tone. âLook, I know Iâm not the most affectionate person, but itâs Viv. I donât mind Viv being clingy. And if you think for a second that I would let anyone do anything that I didnât want, you donât know me at all.â
The team knew very well that you knew you would stand your ground and not let anyone walk over you, so they shouldâve realised that you wouldâve also not let Viv do something you didnât like.Â
Finally Viv looked up at you, her fingers still fidgeting with the sleeves of her hoodie. âYou really donât mind?â
You shake your head and reach for her hand. âNo, not at all. I like it even.â With a gentle tug at her hand, you pull her back into your side.Â
The rest of the girls kept watching you, as you pulled Viv closer and wrapped your arm around her. âCan we please move on and continue watching this movie?âÂ
Viv lightly chuckled at the girls mumbling their sorryâs as they turned back to the TV. You squeeze her a little tighter. âDonât let them get to your head. If you ever question something, please just come to me.â She nodded her head, and got comfortable again.Â
Chloe Kelly| New year, new me|
______________________________________
Happy new year babes!
(I spend fuve hours on Pinterest trying to find that pic omg)
I'm almost at 1k followers and I have no idea what I should do about it đ
____________________________________________________
You and Chloe decided to spent the holidays with her family and even though it wasn't the first time you two spent the holidays together, somehow this time was special. You loved Chloe's family and they loved you. It was always fun spending time with them but especially during the holidays. Chloe's mom was an exceptional cook and every single dish on the table was to die for.
After everyone arrived the house was very busy. A flurry of kids screaming and chasing eachother around the house, the dogs barking and playing with eachother, different family members engaging in conversation.
You were sitting on the couch in Chloe's arms, the blonde running soft circles on your back while some other family members shared their childhood stories. After one of Chloe's cousins finished his story you turned your eyes to her father who was sitting comfortably on his armchair. You glanced up at your girlfriend and the blonde immediately recognised the mischievous swirl in your eyes. When you looked back to her father you grinned.
"Got any embarrassing stories about little Chloe?"
You heard the family laugh at your question and Chloe groaned, definitely not excited with the direction this conversation was headed to. You sat up excited and Chloe's cheeks flushed red as she pouted like a child. You resisted the urge to press kisses on her face, she looked absolutely adorable like this.
"Well there was that one time, when she..."
You listened to the older man in glee, absolutely delighted with the new blackmail material you were gathering. Chloe herself gave up on sulking about it halfway through the story. Instead the winger focused on you and how stunning you looked. Her chest was warm and her heart fluttered, there's nothing she loves more than seeing you be happy with her family. By the time her father had finished the utterly embarrassing story about her, it was almost time for the count down. The tv was on and the entire family was gathered in the living room where you waited patiently for the new year.
You chose to spent the last few moments of 2023 looking at your girlfriend's beautiful blue eyes. You caressed her face, slowly rubbing your thumb across her cheek, your heart skipping a beat when Chloe leaned into the gentle touch. She brought one of her hands up to your shoulders and the other to the back of your neck where she softly scratched your skin with her nails. You were lost in eachother, not taking notice of anything or anyone in the room.
"I love you so much."
"I love you too baby, more than anything."
What finally dragged you back to the present was the loud noise of everyone clapping their hands in rhythm with the big numbers on the screen. As you watched the time run out you were overwhelmed with the rush of memories of the previous year.
Chloe's bright laughter was the only thing that you could hear with the all that water in your ears. You shook your head trying to get the water out and the blonde inched closer still giggling, whipping the droplets from your eyelids so you can open your eyes. When you did you were met with her warm gaze, the sun illuminating her skin making her hair shine. She looked so beautiful, you felt butterflies dance in your stomach. You grabbed her waist and pulled her in for a soft but passionate kiss.
You looked up at the sky, thousands of snowflakes falling on the ground. Christmas was near and the holiday season made Manchester even prettier than it already is, the heavy snow painting everything white. Chloe's hand felt warm from where your hands were tightly interlinked. You were both quiet but it was a comforting silence, one that let you simply enjoy the moment. "I love you." The words left your lips before you could even think about it, but you didn't need to, her soft lips whisked every thought away.
Your eyes welled with tears of happiness, absolutely overwhelmed with emotions. You looked at the blonde, who was in a similar state and resisted the urge to laugh at how in tune you two were. Instead you grinned waiting for the big moment of the countdown.
The next second fireworks blew in the sky, cheers and laughter erupted in the room alongside a bunch of "happy new year!" but the only thing you could focus on was Chloe's lips, the slow push and pull of your lips moving in tandem against eachother. When you finally pulled back you were both slightly out of breath, eyes firmly locked together.
"Happy new year babe."
You smiled and pulled her in a hug softly kissing the top of her head.
"Happy new year, love."
It was all celebrations from there on, the children went to bed and the pets were too tired to keep playing around so only the adults of the family were left, drinking champagne and wine. You were in conversation with Chloe's mom until the blonde grabbed your arm suddenly. You turned to look at her surprised, only to find mischief looking back at you. You were about to open your mouth to question her when she voiced her own idea.
"Wanna hard launch?"
You and Chloe have been dating for years now but you've dine well to keep your relationship under wraps. Obviously there was baseless shipping from the fans but no one could actually say that you guys are together. Her question shocked you because Chloe herself is the reason why this relationship isn't public. The blonde hasn't come out publicly even though her inner circle knows. You're not sure if it's the alcohol talking, because you haven't had a conversation about announcing your relationship for quite a while. Your hesitation must've slipped into your expression because Chloe was frowning now.
"I mean if you don't want to-"
"I do! I just... I thought you weren't ready."
Chloe pulls you in a side hug and grins before shrugging her shoulders.
"It's a new year, time for change right?"
Kerstin Casparij - SO LEAVE
YN.YL = Veronica Miedema
Kerstin Casparji = herself
âââââââââââââââââââââââ
"No I'm not okay it's not right to me that you sign for a one year contract and then you say city didn't give you the right amount of game time or city's not good enough for me" Kerstin yelled
"But it's not good for me I left Arsenal because I was sick of constantly being compared to Viv all the time, so when I got a contract to city I was soo excited because you were here I ." I got interrupted
"Then why don't you sign the contract extension and stay here with me, get more game time from city and actually make it work for you" she said
"But I don't want it to work here at city I want to join Barca it's been a dream of mine to play at Barca and it would be an amazing opportunity for me. I would make a name for myself not just Vivianne miedema's little sister"
"Then leave, leave like you always do the second something doesn't go your way you leave SO LEAVE" she said staring dead at me then walked away to the spare room.
I didn't know what to do was it so hard for her to accept that I had and amazing opportunity for Barca. Did she not think I was good enough or did she only want me to stay so she could be with me at city. What do I do I thought.
Kerstin's pov:
The next day was awkward we didn't speak to each other at all we didn't take the same car to training which made it obvious to others we were arguing. Something I learnt about Veronica she wasn't one to give in and she was very good at the silent treatment. But if Ronni was gonna play the silent game so was i.
Everyone was around the breakfast room and was chatting away eating before warm up. I sat with Mary and a couple of the other girls whilst instead of have Ronnie next to me usually half asleep I watched her walk into the cafeteria and go sit with Hempo, Esme and Sandy. Hempo gave me a look as general confusion but I just shrugged it off not really want to talk to everyone about it and effect the team, I mean Ronnie can't avoid me forever we play right next to each other in games.
Veronica's POV
I was asked to go to one of the stuffs room that focus around our contracts and a payment and stuff like that. I was being payed quite a lot to play at city and that was really appreciated, I hadn't looked into the Barcelona contract deal and the payment, game time and stuff like that so I though maybe it was about my other option for clubs and Barcaldine included. Whilst walking there I saw some of the girls and started to walk over to them since I don't think I'm in a rush to get the the staffs room, until I saw Kerstin was there then immediately turned around that didn't go unnoticed by her. We don't usually argue but when we do it's big well bigger for us. I restarted to walk the staffs room and eventually got there. Knocking on the door then walking in to being greeted by the staff member
"Hello Veronica" he spoke whilst sitting down with a desktop facing in between were we sat across from on another and 5 pieces of paper spread out as well " I think you could take a guess about why your here and that's for you potential other contracts or your city contract" The staff member flip the sheets of paper over to reveal the other side that had the teams that were interested in me two including Manchester City and Barcelona "Now I know you have leaned toward going to Barca but there were other options like Bayern, Liverpool and one other one but I'm not sure how you'll feel about it but it's Arsenal and I know you've made it clear that your not interested in going back to the gunners team but they have offered the same amount of money and your expected to have more game time then beforehand, your contract would be for 2 years, city have a similar offer with more money, your currently being payed 300k but there contract has changed for 350k they would sign you for a 3 year contract deal"
"Ok So my former club Arsenal is telling us that I'll have more game time and the same amount of money when that exact same club said that the first time and I was completely overlooked and robbed, if you can't tell arsenal isn't an option" I say say looking very unimpressed with arsenal but trying to be more understanding
"Okay so no arsenal have you thought about Bayern and Liverpool" he moved the sheets of paper in front of me for a look
"Bayern are offering you the exact same contract as city did when you first joined, whilst Liverpool are only offering you 200k which is a step down so I'm not positive on you salary step down but it depends on what you want to do, your contract would include 2 years with them, now I'll get to Barcelona once you get let's say three out of the way and will leave it to Barcelona and another club to decide, I'm going to duck out for a second but I'll be back soon"
I was looking through the papers and immediately put Arsenal to the side along with Liverpool, I hadn't really thought of Bayern before I mean I've heard great thing from it and when Georgia and I hung out she spoke about how she enjoyed it so much but then again you really didn't feel like going somewhere people are going to still compare you to Viv, because Viv was fantastic at Bayern one of there former best players and almost everyone will expect you to be even better then her. I put Bayern to the side And look what's staring at me MANCHESTER CITY in bright blue writing, a pay up I would be put into the top 10 most expensive players not that I care about how much I'm worth but that's kinda cool to see people paying you so much that your in a top 10 most expensive with world class players, I guess it's back down to City and Barca.
"Ah I'm assuming your choosing between City and Barcelona, well what are you leaning towards" the man said walking through the door and taking his seat again
"Well I mean a Barcelona would be great to play at but now I think about it more and more I really do wanna give city a better try but I mean it is Barcelona so who knows the opportunities I could get you know" I say completely distraught on the decision
"Yes well depending on you feel with your salary your mind might change on Barcelona" he says looking at me after reading the city contract then the Barcelona contract"
Kerstin's pov
"Yeah I don't know Mary and now we're both giving each other the silent treatment and it's just not a fun feeling knowing your partner want to move away from you" I say looking down after explaining why Ronnie and I haven't been speaking
"Well if I'm being completely honest you should be happy she could possibly be going to Barcelona like she's just proving she and amazing player and plus I don't think she want to move away but she's doing to to benefit her career don't you think that's a good thing"
"Yeah but you know I'm really proud of her and happy for her but it's just not how I would have wanted our relationship to pan out and I don't know if I could do long distance and I don't wanna ruin our relationship"
"Your not going to ruin the relationship, she loves you and I'm pretty you love her"
"Okay but what do I do now, do I wait at home for her do I stay here, do I March in the office saying I am proud of you for getting an offer at Barca and I love you so take it" I say making weird voices
"Wait for her at her car and then talk to her"
"Okay I will" I say hugging Mary as she stands up
Veronica's POV
"So you're telling me a huge club that pays crazy amounts for play wants to change my pay from 300k to 150k and they want to quarter my game time and take me on a loan after my contract is up" I say looking at the man shocked
"Yes and if I'm being completely honest it is a huge step down and for you personally wouldn't be the step you should take" he responds "I know you have spoken to me about you city contract and your not positive on it but now that you've seen the other contracts including the Barca one maybe you would reconsider or maybe having a look at one of the other ones again"
"Yeah but I know this might be a biased question for you but what's the best step" I say hoping for a non biased answer considering he works under the Manchester City club name
"I say your best options are City, Bayern or Arsenal" He immediately answered
"Okay I'm not going back to arsenal but I'm rethinking Bayern again" I said out loud when really I was thinking to say it in my head
"So where declining Liverpool, Barcelona and Arsenal" he questions turning the desktop to face me more
"Yes" that was my final answer for those 3
"Now you can have a think about those two considering you have a lot more to think about now price range and game and also contract wise how long you gonna be there for "We can set up another meeting for maybe a week from today or you can send an email of your decision"
"Would it be fine to set up a meeting but cancel if I send an email"
"Of course, it was a pleasure doing this with you, I might say your quite professional" he shook my hand across his desk "I'll send the emails to your rejected clubs and keep a close eye if anything has been changed or has been offered"
"Thank you and I do very much appreciate it" I shook his hand back then exiting the room
That was not what I expected I expected to immediately accept Barcelonas offer but not after what I saw one that contract not at all. But now I'm stuck between to options again Manchester City or Bayern Munich.
A/N: Part two anyone ???? Or just leave it there also if I do, do a part two send request how it should end or comment i donât care
