Spider-Girl has a panic attack ft Wanda Maximoff and Natasha Romanoff
The air was thick with tension as the trio navigated through the dimly lit corridors of an abandoned Hydra facility. Wanda Maximoff, with her scarlet eyes glowing, moved gracefully, using her telekinetic powers to disable security systems and clear the path. Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, trailed behind her, executing precise strikes on any unsuspecting guards that crossed their way.
Y/N Parker, known as Spider-Girl, swung effortlessly between the walls, her agility matching that of her brother, Peter, the famed Spider-Man. The mission had brought them back to a place that haunted Y/N's nightmares, the place where Hydra had once held her captive.
As they reached a dimly lit room, memories flooded back, and Y/N's breath hitched. She could almost hear the distant echoes of her own cries from the past. The room seemed to close in, and the air turned heavy. Wanda and Natasha, engrossed in neutralizing threats, failed to notice the subtle shift in Y/N's demeanour.
A sudden explosion echoed through the facility, snapping Y/N back to the present. The enemies had found them, and chaos erupted. Wanda conjured barriers to deflect bullets, while Natasha gracefully twisted her body, avoiding incoming attacks. Y/N swung into action, her heightened senses allowing her to anticipate movements.
Amid the chaos, the teenager felt a shiver race down her spine, an icy hand gripping her heart. The memories of Hydra's experiments, the isolation, and the pain resurfaced, overwhelming her. She tried to shake off the haunting thoughts, but they clung to her like a suffocating fog.
Wanda, engrossed in her own battle, threw a barrage of energy at their adversaries. Natasha, displaying her trademark acrobatics, flipped over an opponent, delivering a swift kick to the back of their head. But in the midst of the fight, they remained oblivious to Y/N's struggle.
A sudden, searing pain tore through Y/N's shoulder. She gasped, the pain jolting her back to the present. A bullet had grazed her, leaving a trail of blood. She stumbled, the weight of the memories and the physical pain combining into a debilitating force.
Wanda, sensing the disturbance in the air, turned her attention to Y/N. Her eyes widened as she took in the sight of Y/N, clutching her bleeding shoulder, breaths coming in ragged gasps. Natasha, too, noticed the sudden change and the blood-staining Y/N's costume.
Natasha - Y/N!
Natasha's voice cut through the chaos, concern etched across her face.
Wanda's eyes flared with Scarlet Witch energy as she surveyed the room. The enemies had just made a grave mistake. They had hurt one of their own.
In an instant, Wanda's power surged, creating a whirlwind of chaos that incapacitated their rivals. Natasha, her movements now driven by a fierce mama bear protective instinct, dispatched the remaining threats with deadly precision.
Wanda rushed to Y/N's side, her hands glowing with a soft, healing light.
Wanda - Sweetheart, what happened? *mix of worry and anger in her tone*
Natasha joined them, her eyes narrowing at the blood on Y/N's shoulder.
Natasha - Did they do this to you, baby? *growls*
Y/N, still grappling with the remnants of her panic, managed to choke out just one sentence.
Y/N - I'm okay, just a graze.
Wanda's gaze bore into Y/N's eyes, her empathetic powers sensing the turmoil within.
Wanda - No lies, honey. We're here for you. *softly smiles*
The weight of the unspoken past hung in the air, and Y/N felt a lump form in her throat. She couldn't hold it back any longer. The memories, the fear, the pain... it all came crashing down.
Y/N - I can't breathe. *whispers with a strained voice*
Wanda's eyes widened with understanding. She had seen this before, the aftermath of trauma. Gently, she guided Y/N to sit on a nearby crate, Natasha standing guard beside them.
Wanda - It's okay, Y/N. You're safe now. Focus on your breathing.
Wanda reassured, her hands now enveloped in a warm, soothing light.
As Wanda worked her healing magic, Natasha kept a vigilant watch, her eyes scanning the surroundings for any lingering threats. Y/N tried to follow Wanda's advice, focusing on the rise and fall of her chest. It was a battle against the memories, a struggle to separate the past from the present.
Wanda, sensing the need for a deeper connection, reached out with her telepathic abilities, gently exploring the recesses of Y/N's mind. She found the echoes of pain, the scars left by Hydra's cruelty. With a gentle touch, Wanda created a mental barrier, shielding Y/N from the invasive memories.
Natasha, her eyes sharp and unwavering, turned to face the defeated enemies strewn across the room. They had underestimated the strength of the trio, and now they paid the price.
Wanda finished her healing, the soft glow fading from her hands.
Wanda - How are you feeling? *genuine concern and head tilt*
Y/N took a deep, shaky breath and finally spoke after her unfortunately long flashback.
Y/N - Better... Thanks.
Natasha approached, a stern expression on her face.
Natasha - We need to talk about what happened here, and about Hydra. *frowns*
Y/N nodded, a mix of gratitude and apprehension in her eyes. The shared history, the unspoken bond formed through battles and victories, bound them together in a way that words couldn't fully capture.
As they left the Hydra facility behind, the trio walked side by side. Wanda and Natasha, each with an arm around Y/N, silently vowed to protect their unofficial daughter from the shadows of the past. The scars might linger, but together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead.
________________________________________________________________________________
However... as the trio moved cautiously through the facility's wreckage, the air still charged with tension. Y/N's steps became unsteady, the loss of blood making every movement an effort. Wanda and Natasha exchanged a concerned glance as they supported her, the weight of worry heavy in their eyes.
Natasha - Kiddo, you're losing a lot of blood! We need to get you out of here.
Natasha stated, her voice firm but laced with concern.
Y/N - I'm... I'm fine.
Y/N insisted, though her voice wavered. She couldn't afford to show weakness, not when the memories of her captivity still lingered. But the pallor of her face and the weakness in her limbs betrayed her true condition.
Wanda, her maternal instincts heightened, placed a gentle hand on Y/N's cheek.
Wanda - You're not fine, draga. We need to tend to your wound. (Draga = darling)
The term of endearment, spoken in Wanda's native Sokovian, resonated with warmth. Y/N managed a weak smile, appreciating the comfort amid chaos. Still, her steps faltered, and a wave of dizziness threatened to pull her into the darkness.
Natasha noticed the subtle change and urged the younger girl while adjusting her grip to provide more support.
Natasha - Hold on, Y/N. We're almost there.
As they neared the exit, the trio was met with the sight of their jet parked discreetly outside. Wanda's magic gently opened the hatch, revealing a space that, at the moment, felt like a sanctuary. Natasha guided Y/N into the jet, and Wanda followed closely behind.
Once inside, Y/N sank into one of the seats, the exhaustion and pain evident in her eyes. Natasha quickly assessed the wound, her fingers deftly probing the injury. Wanda, her magic still at the ready, focused on stabilizing Y/N's condition.
Natasha - You need medical attention, now. *meets Wanda's gaze*
Wanda nodded in agreement, a flicker of concern in her eyes. Y/N, feeling the motherly vibes surrounding her, couldn't help but be grateful for the support she found in these two extraordinary women.
The jet's engines roared to life, and Natasha secured Y/N in one of the medical bays. Wanda continued to channel her healing energy, knitting together torn tissues and slowing the bleeding. Yet, the concern etched on their faces lingered.
As the jet soared into the night sky, Natasha took a seat beside Y/N and spoke softly but with a stern edge because of her nerves.
Natasha - You can't downplay this, detka. We need to take care of you. (детка = babe)
Wanda joined them, her hand finding Y/N's.
Wanda - You're not alone in this. We're here for you, princesa. (Princesa = princess)
The terms of endearment, spoken by both Wanda and Natasha, wrapped around Y/N like a protective shield. In that moment, she let go of the stoic facade she often wore and allowed herself to be vulnerable. The weight of the past, the pain of the present, and the uncertainty of the future became palpable.
Y/N - I... I was scared. Back there, it felt like... like I was back in that cell.
Y/N admitted with her voice sounding barely like a whisper.
Wanda squeezed Y/N's hand, her eyes reflecting a deep understanding.
Wanda - You faced that fear, and you're here now. You're strong, babygirl.
Natasha, typically reserved, placed a comforting hand on Y/N's shoulder and a kiss on her forehead.
Natasha - We've got your back. Always.
The rest of the journey was spent in a quiet understanding. Wanda's healing energy worked its magic, and Y/N felt the pain decrease. The concern in Natasha's eyes, however, lingered. As they touched down at their home base, Wanda and Natasha swiftly organized medical assistance waiting for them.
Once off the jet, Y/N felt a renewed sense of strength. The support from Wanda and Natasha, the unspoken bond that transcended words, was a source of comfort. As medical professionals took over, Wanda and Natasha stood side by side, their protective gaze never leaving Y/N.
Y/N - Thank you, for everything.
The youngest whispered, a genuine smile playing on her lips.
Wanda wrapped her in a comforting hug, and Natasha joined in. The trio stood there, proving the strength they found in their shared pain and victories.
Natasha - We're family, dorogoy. We take care of our own. (дорогой = my dear)
As the medical team led Y/N away for further treatment, Wanda and Natasha exchanged a glance filled with a shared determination. The shadows of Hydra might linger, but together, they would face them head-on. The makeshift family forged in battles and blood was unbreakable, each member finding strength in the love and protection they provided for one another.

I firmly believe that Rio is Nicky's other mother. Whether she took a male form to create him with Agatha, whether he was created just simply out of their love with no real magic behind it (like how Wanda made the twins without spell or incantation). Regardless, Agatha is his Mama, and Rio is his Mother.
Imagine being Rio, knowing that beyond all you want the child you created with the one you love will not survive because he's not meant to. Knowing this will destroy your Love, this will destroy your relationship, but you have no choice. You're the Green Witch. Your job in the world is to protect the balance of life and death. And your son is part of that. (Maybe he has bigger role yet to be revealed, to us, to Rio, to Agatha). Imagine knowing that your Love will have to murder more people than she already has to keep you away from your child because if he sees you, if he joins you, she loses him. And all you can offer is time. All you can give her is the as much time as she can buy. She keeps killing, you stay away. Too busy collecting those other souls to see your own child. Then one day, she doesn't manage as much as she should've. And you know, you know you have to collect your son. And he's so small, so little. And he loves her so much. So you make sure he kisses her, once for him and once for you, before taking his hand and leading him to where he was always meant to go. You can never return to her, you know she hates you now. She doesn't really, but she can't be mad at fate, so she's mad at you. And you watch from afar as she goes on killing. Collecting those souls like love letters, because its all she can do. To you. To him. It's the closest you three can get to each other for centuries. You don't really want her dead, but now, all these centuries later she's tried to go after The Scarlet Witch - a being that has to exist. A being that has the power to disrupt the balance and bring him back to her. So you have to go do your job. And in that, you see your Love with this boy. This boy who cannot exist. This boy who reminds her of your Nicky. And Once more you have to break her heart into a thousand little pieces because that boy is not yours. Not Hers. Nicky is with you. Nicky is gone from her world. Agatha will not see him again until she joins you.... and then she does. But she doesn't cross over. She can't. She can't do it. She can't face him. So you have to watch, watch from afar as your Love longs for a boy she's too scared to face. Watch from afar as your Son longs for a Mama he hasn't hugged in centuries.

The Scarlet Witch
Tumblr media
Y/N: 12 years old Story: After finally escaping hydra, Y/N discovers her mother is the Scarlet Witch… ——————————————————
Y/N'S POV I'm sitting in Central Park in New York after so many failed attempts to get someone to tell me where my mom could be. My mom is an Avenger and apperantly the Avengers are pretty famous, so why nobody knows where's Wanda Maximoff?
It's been 4 years since the last time I saw her… or I think. I was taken by hydra when the agents attacked the Avengers compound. They kept me in a cell, but then something happened and in 5 seconds the place was all clear. No one was around. So I ran…
I wish I could see her again, but anyone I ask doesn't know anything about her. I just need to find out what happened to her.
It's been 3 days since I got out of that terrible place. I always like to walk around this weird house with something on the roof that looks like a big eye. I don't know why, but I can feel some sort of power from this house.
I managed to find out that a man called 'Doctor Strange' lives there. According to one older lady, he has some sort of powers too. I want to ask him if he by any chance knows anything about my mom, but everytime I knock at the door, no one opens. But I can't give up, I have to try again.
I knock at the door, praying someone will finally open. I let out a sigh after a few minutes of standing there. I sit on the stairs in front of the house, resting my head on my knees.
My eyes widen when I hear the door creak. I immediately stand up, turning around and looking at a tall man with a cup in his hand and a clock who stands there, looking back at me.
"H-hello, don't you know by any chance where-" I start, but he cuts me off.
"Listen, kid, this is not a place to play. Go home" He says coldly, already closing the door.
"Wait! Do you know Wanda Maximoff?" I blurt out, the door opening again.
"Wanda Maximoff? Why would you look for her?" He raises an eyebrows.
"I-I need to talk to her. She. Hm. She's my mom" I explain, but only earn a look that tells me he doesn't believe me at all.
"Okay. I understand you're probably a fan, but go home, kid. It's getting late" He says, rolling his eyes and closing the door again. I've never wanted to do this, to use my powers on other people, but he gives me no other choice. He clearly knows something about my mom and I just need to know.
I close my eyes, concentrating only on the power I feel from this house. I take a deep breath, trying to get into the guy's mind. It takes a while, but once I'm in, I carefully search for any information about my mom.
Finally, I find out that the man is heading to some place called Kamar-Taj where my mom is supposed to be too. This will be hard to get there, but I'm a witch after all.
———————————
Took me more than a whole night to actually find my way to Kamar-Taj, but I did it. Now I'm hidden behind one of many statues that are around this place. There's a huge castle and people in pajamas looking outfits. I mean… it's literally almost 1pm, why would they wear pajamas? Whatever, now I just need to wait until my mom shows up.
Suddenly the sky darkens, all the people watch the sky, waiting for what happens next. My mom appears, the guy from yesterday flies up to her and they start talking. I'm just watching it, wondering what they could possibly talk about, but then Doctor Strange flies back and the pajamas people make a shield. I don't get it, is my mom the bad one now? She's always been very caring, she wouldn't be evil, right?
I watch in confusion as my mom tries to break the shield, throwing her magic at it until it breaks. She flies down on the ground, knocking everyone down. Tears form in my eyes, this can't be true, my mom can't be evil.
She starts walking towards the castle and since no one is outside except for the dead bodies, her and me, I get out of my hiding spot.
"Mama?" I say shyly, tears quietly running down my cheeks. Mom turns around, her face impression turning into a shocked one when she sees me.
"… Y/N/N?" She whispers, walking towards me, tears building up in her eyes.
"No" I take a step back, unsure of her next actions. She stops, tears running down her cheeks too by now as she's looking at me, hurt visible in her eyes. "Mama, why would you do that? You're not evil, you can't be" I tell her, my voice breaking at the sight of all the dead bodies surrounding us.
"Y/N/N, I… I just wanted you back" She says, her voice also breaking. "Please, sweetheart. I-I'm sorry, I missed you so much" She takes another step towards me on which I shake my head, tears still running down my face.
"No, please don't hurt me" I step back, shaking my head. "I want my mama" I cry out, my breathing not really working right now.
With a swift move of her hand, her clothes change into jeans and green jacket, her hair is put into one french braid and her fingers don't have the black color on them.
"I'm here, Y/N/N. You need to breathe, sweetheart. Breathe with me, honey" She holds my shoulders, looking me in the eyes and trying to help me to breathe.
"Mama" I wrap my arms around her, burying my head into her chest.
"Mama's here, my little monkey. You're safe. You're okay" She says, rubbing my back and kissing the top of my head. "You're okay" She repeats. "Where have you been, baby?" She asks when I finally manage to take a deep breath, wiping away my tears with her thumbs.
"Hydra" I manage to say, wrapping my arms around her tightly once again. "Please don't ever leave me, mommy"
"I will never ever leave you, my little monkey. I promise I'll always protect you, no matter what" She smiles and kisses my forehead. "I will never let anyone take you from me again"
"Mama, I don't like it here. Can we go away?" I ask, not feeling comfortable at all here. I just want to cuddle with my mom on the couch and watch a cartoon.
"Let's go home" She smiles and presses a kiss to my forehead before taking my hand in hers and leading me away from this place.

Tony gives her a look. “You want to go to therapy?” Tony scoffs. “Besides. Like some doctor is going to know what to do about the fact that I have nightmares about aliens and wormholes.”
“Okay,” says Natasha. “So you’re inventing the world’s next great therapy contraption. What did you want from me?”
“Well." Tony turns back to the computer monitor in a movement that may or may not be to avoid her gaze. “It’s not working. Normally I’d ask Banner, but, well.” He huffs out a bitter laugh. “Besides, I hear you’re the one to ask about coding.”

Summary: Madame B waits, waits, and waits, until she doesn’t anymore. She walks to the table in the corner of the room, picking up the gun sitting over it, and Melina’s breath falters (no, please, not Natasha, not her Natasha, not yet).
The glock slips in Sonja’s hands and Melina closes her eyes, just to open them a second later — she doesn’t want to see this, but she has to, — and that’s when it happens, so suddenly that the woman almost starts sobbing right there on the spot.
Natasha gets up.
or
five times someone witnessed Natasha saving herself, and the one time someone saw her giving up.

Love a two-for-one deal. Some "Ata Rin"?
WIP Wednesday Game
Thanks so much for asking! I've made some progress in Ata Ryn, and here are your additional sentences from immortal witch riding hood!
For a moment, with the woman’s – with Fay’s – hands in yours, and with those bright and brilliant blue eyes focused so completely on you, and with her crouched down so that you looked down on her, instead of the other way around – for a moment, you forget your own name, forget how to even speak.  You won’t mention this to your mama later, but sometimes she’ll mention how being around Fay strikes her wordless, mumbles under her breath how it must be a spell the witch woman casts over her.
But you know better than that even now, even as young as you are; the only spell Fay casts to keep you from speaking is her complete and utter focus on you.
Fay’s encouraging, loving gaze never leaves you – not as you stand silent, not as you stumble over words, not as you finally, breathless, force your name through your young lips.  Then her smile softens, and she squeezes your hands.  “It’s a pleasure to meet you, my love.”
Your cheeks flush a bright scarlet, and even at five years old, your gaze drops away.  “Pleasure to meet you, too, Miss Fay.”
“Oh, no Miss, dear,” Fay says as she drops your hands and straightens back up.  “Just Fay.”  She brushes her fluffy tooth white hair back behind one ear and then tilts her head to one side.  “Why don’t you come inside, dear?  Let me feed you something before you head back.  Wouldn’t want any wolves to find you hungry, would we?”
At the mention of wolves, your eyes grow large, and your hand grows tight on the little stick you’ve called a sword but that now feels like nothing more than the stick it is.  “Wolves?” you echo, and you fight the urge to stare back at the woods, at the path you’ll have to walk back alone.
Fay reaches down, squeezes your shoulder.  “Don’t worry, my child,” she says.  “I’ll make sure nothing harms you.”  Then she winks at you the same way you like to wink at your mama when you want her to believe you, the way you like to wink at your mama when she never does.  Unlike your mama, though, you decide to trust Fay, and you follow her into her cottage.

Creekside
by Miranda Gershoni
Translucent green pours up and through. Teasing from my desk, the glow of the bottleneck. I’m back to seven, the walk home from school when mama took us down a different street. We roamed through shadowed trees, looking. Fossils, glass, bones, twigs for the fire. Leaves browned and feet grew and the creek sang still. Our new ritual, scouring the earth after school, treasure hungry.
Mama showed us what we couldn’t see. Raccoon skulls, pre-war milk bottles, an extra breath in the day. I was always catching up, trailing behind myself. My mind revved and tangled. Then we walked gingerly through trees. Looking for treasures below, it slowed me.
These days there is no time for slow. But past the cries of fading debts I hear you in the water near. Trapped in the flat hue of dirt, a scarlet brown filtering the sun. I reach down and pry it out. The remains of a beer bottom, soft and crooked glass patiently wed to its industrial stamp. Tiny bumps curve the edge in obedient rhythm—a Braille of better days, a half mandala that lives to tell the end.
The oyster shell sits as always. Demurring above papers, the numbers leaking out, it sits. Gold rapture waiting to be asked. Painted before your hands were dust, its shape makes mine different now. Holding it emits something new, a fresh duty somewhere far. Back then I could sink, before when flesh could be trusted. In my palm now the shell is cold. Will I ever thaw below it again? A thousand miles east from our creek, mine rushes on. Each print leaves the anatomy of place, history bleeding before me. I know she couldn’t stay here. The gold was part of it. Making new what none of us saw. The drip of stars welled in her, cavernous hunger bowed in stillness.
Molecules packed, no page left white.
So many times we’d just go. Get in the car and move till we got there. Chest dense with bass. Clanging riffs and raspy voices. Content to sit in the safety of surprise, we flew above the road like boys on bikes. From my window now they ride on, witches like us in middle school skin. On the brown glass I see it—seven two. The year your body drifted in. Always your numbers, everywhere. Saying hi from the water.
Mama tell me how. I walk with the leaves. I sit with the water. I listen to the restless finch. I look with the eyes you made, taught me to see with. What flickers on and where? How is the hard one. But you knew that.
The boys just came back around. I remember when we looped like that. Through side streets and alley gardens, grab some basil on the way. Us like paint in the hot air. Lifting from wheels down the hill, rising higher to meet the sun. Those tiny white flowers spinning out on even more impossibly delicate stems. We ride to the tip, laughing. Our sidewalks never ended.
What you knew I can see only now. Why you needed to scream. Peel and bite into avocados. Howl with James Brown in the car. Walk each street and round every corner. Take my hands and dance the floorboards in. Eat many colors. Add sesame seeds and sprouts. Try it with raspberries on your fingers. Write what’s true and burn it. Let the fire take your tears. Bring us to see the smoke. Let us be your fire. Let me be your body now. And you, my spirit. I feel you in the wind. Say it again. Tell me one more time.

Tumblr media
Tendrils of red fly through the air as Wanda flips rapidly through the Darkhold. You watch in fascination, the sparks illuminating your face in a soft scarlet glow. Wanda hasn’t acknowledged you since you came down to the basement and crawled over to her, much too absorbed in studying the runes in front of her.
Despite being content in the domesticity of her life now, no longer needing to use the dark spells to explore multiversal lives, Wanda still studies the magic of the Darkhold. She claims it’s to help keep the universe she’s invaded stable in spire of her presence and to protect your home if needed. It took a long time to convince her variant that she had destroyed any actual copies of the Darkhold, and what she had was simply her own creation from what she remembered, holding none of the corruption that brough her to where she was today.
Mama Wanda always tells you not to go down to the basement while Mommy Wanda is casting spells, worried about you getting caught in any crossfire as Mommy haphazardly flings spells around the room. But Mama fell asleep on the couch after her third episode of New Girl, and you got bored after you could no longer show her the pictures you were coloring. You grabbed your favorite stuffie - the teddy bear that Mommy brought from her own universe, the one that was modeled to look like a cheesy version of her suit - and ventured down to the basement.
You don’t want to bother Mommy. You know that the spells she makes are much more dangerous than Mama’s. But she’s been down here all morning, and you want her attention!
Mommy most certainly knows that you’re waiting for her to say something to you. But she relishes that sweet pout that you give her when she’s ignoring you, so she draws it out a long as she can.
You’re not feeling patient today, already bored and needy for touch. Mommy’s legs are criss-cross applesauce, as they usually are when she’s working. Perfect. You crawl over to her levitating form, placing your head against her thigh and gazing up at her concentrated face.
“Does Mama know you’re down here?” Wanda asks without even sparing you a glance.
“Mama’s sleepin’,” you explain, tracing the material of her red suit with your fingers. The dark splotches that stained it once have since faded, but you many of the cracks in the armor remain.
“Hm,” she hums, knowing that telling you to go upstairs will probably result in a tantrum that she isn’t in the mood to deal with. You take her lack of orders to leave as permission to stay, so you immediately start climbing up to her lap. “Now, what do you think you’re doing, little devil?”
“Gettin’ comfy.” You squeeze yourself in between her and the Darkhold, tucking yourself into her lap, struggling to keep yourself steady since her floating makes it harder to keep upright. Wanda grunts when you elbow her in the chest, and you freeze, looking up to see her clearly trying to contain her frustration with your wiggling. “Sorry, Mommy…”
“Just let me…” she sighs, grabbing you and turning you around to face her, slinging your legs to wrap around her waist. You squeak, wrapping your arms around her as she adjusts you. As you do your teddy falls to the floor behind her, rolling dangerously close to the candles illuminating the room. Wanda doesn’t notice, focused on making sure you won’t fall out of her lap. “There, is that better?”
“Wandabear!” You cry, making grabby hands at the stuffed animal. Wanda rolls her eyes as she flicks her wrist, levitating the toy back into your grasp.
“Sometimes I think you love that thing more than me,” Wanda says, sounding rather unconvincingly annoyed. In reality, she loved how much you adored your “Wandabear” (as you uncreatively named her) because it was the first gift she ever brought you. Mama still teases her about how soft you’ve turned Mommy.
You finally calm down, satisfied with your Mommy giving you the attention you were craving. Your thumb makes it way to your mouth without you realizing, Wanda’s heartbeat and soft mumbling to herself lulling you to sleep.
When you wake up, you find yourself on the couch, with no Mama or Mommy to be seen. You can hear moving around in the kitchen, so you assume that they must be in there. Wandabear is tucked under your arm, and a soft handknitted blanket is draped over you. We Bare Bears is playing softly on the television, drawing your attention for a few minutes. One of the Wandas - probably Mommy - must have clipped your pacifier to your shirt. You slip it between your lips, fingers twirling the loose threads of the blanket as you watch your show.
A clatter from the kitchen makes you jump, clutching Wandabear close to your chest. “Mama? Mommy?”
“It’s okay, baby!” Mama calls back. Even though you want to keep watching your show, you’re lured into the kitchen by the thought of food being made. Mommy and Mama are both making ingredients and dishes fly around the kitchen with their magic, and you playfully try to grab the bag of Goldfish that floats by you. “You’re going to get hit in the head with the way Mommy’s flinging things around, baby. Let’s go sit at the table while we finish making lunch, okay?”
“Okay, Mama,” you agree, plopping yourself on your soft cushioned seat at the table while you watch Mommy and Mama fuss over whether to give you your cookies before or after you eat your sandwich. You place Wandabear in the seat next to you, scooting a plate of plastic food that you refuse to let Mama take off the table towards it.
A gentle hand grabs your attention by stroking your hair, and you bounce happily as Mama places your plate on the table. Mommy comes over with both their plates, setting them up on either side of you (after moving Wandabear to sit next to you at the head of the table). You start shoving Goldfish in your mouth before you realize that Mama forgot something very important.
“Mama, crusts!” You pout at her.
“I’m sorry, baby,” Mama sighs, getting up to grab a knife from the drawer.
In the meantime, Mommy starts hand-feeding you the crackers, smiling at the way your lips wrap around her fingers when you take a bite. “Mama has such a bad memory sometimes, doesn’t she, little one?”
“My hearing, however, is perfectly fine,” Mama says as she sits down and starts cutting your sandwich. You miss the playful glare that Mama gives Mommy, too busy grabbing your sandwich triangle and stuffing it in your mouth as soon as the crusts are gone. “Slow down, darling. You’ll upset your tummy.”
“Mmkay,” you say through the mouthful.
The three of you finish your lunch, and Mommy picks you up and carries you to the living room while Mama cleans. Mommy turns on a big girl show, but you’re too distracted by sorting through the drawings you started earlier. Mama finally finishes cleaning and joins Mommy on the couch, curling into her side. They both watch you color happily, humming one of your favorite theme songs to yourself and chewing on your pacifier.
“Nothing happened while they were in the basement, right?” Mama asks Mommy too low for you to hear.
“Wandabear almost caught on fire, but other than that, no.”
“You know I still don’t trust the Darkhold. Even if it is just a copy.”
“I understand,” Mommy says solemnly. “But you trust me to keep you both safe, correct?”
“I do.”
“Good. Because I always will.”

Little bird (Agatha x Vampire!reader) Part 8
Here’s the final! Thanks for all your love! <3
Tumblr media
Agatha sighed and wished she could cry, but this wasn’t her body anymore, and Wanda didn’t give Agnes permission to cry, just smile.
“Another failure, Agatha” a voice whispered in her mind, reminding her how much she failed you.
You.
You would have never allow her to do this, you would have warned her about Wanda, you wouldn’t been so stupid to let yourself be trapped. Well, not that you could be trapped by magic anyway, not even by Wanda’s. She could be the scarlet witch, almost a myth, but a witch anyway. And a witch could never win over a vampire.
But that was the point. You weren’t here. And haven’t been for the past 200 years.
Her heart broke a little more each time she remembered that horrible night. The night she lost everything.
She didn’t think when she jumped in the room and tried to stop you from sending the baby away, she just...wanted to stop it all. She wanted to save the baby and prove to you that you could be a family, like you always wanted. She just wanted to be happy with you two.
But she should have known that happiness wasn’t for her.
You had jumped, surprised by her voice, and that made you take a step back, forgetting the portal behind you. Agatha had reached for you, but she wasn’t fast enough and you had fallen into the void with the baby, the portal closing immediately after you.
The witch had blinked, too shocked to move, until realization hit her and she yelled your name, desperately trying to open the portal again, to bring you back. She spent all that night casting every spell she knew, but nothing worked. Vampire’s magic was much stronger than any other magical creatures’.
She never saw you again, she never hugged you or kissed you. She never carried Sissy, nor changed her, or played with her. She was alone.
Alone for 200 years.
And yet, she never gave up.
She owed it to you and Sissy, so she spent all those years learning more, becoming stronger, growing in magic and keeping your memory alive. She was sure she would be able to find something, anything, that could help her to bring both of you back, and she swore that she would kiss and hug you with all her love, she swore she’ll watch Sissy grow and would teach her everything she knew. She swore she will never lose you again.
That’s why she had come to Westview. When she felt the power, it made her curious, and when she saw how this broken avenger brought back to life her dead android lover, Agatha felt hope blooming in her chest. Perhaps, she could see you again.
But of course, she had to screw it up.
She could have just told Wanda what had happened. She could have just asked the other witch for help, both of their stories were similar and maybe the younger woman would be happy to help her recover her family. You could have been a happy family, maybe even Sissy could have been Tommy and Billy’s friend!
But she didn’t.
She fought against the scarlet witch instead, wanting all the power for herself, and got herself trapped in her own mind. She would never be able to find you now. She couldn't even control her body anymore.
She failed.
Failed you, failed Sissy, failed herself.
She was too weak to do anything against the chaos magic, but too alive to perhaps find you on the other side.
And with a broken heart, she gave up. Maybe Agnes wouldn’t be a loser like Agatha, so she let her take full control, ignoring the familiar magic call of an opening portal. Must be Wanda. She also ignored the fact that Wanda had left flying. She was too tired to think.
____________________
Agnes smiled and waved as the last family left Westview. She didn’t really understand why someone would leave such a beautiful town, but whatever, it just means she’ll have all the pasta she wanted without having to fight anyone at the market.
Speaking of, maybe it was a good idea to have spaguetti tonight!
The woman kept her bright smile and walked to her house. She was completely oblivious to the abandoned houses, the tire marks on the ground (from the haste with which some people left) or the deathly silence that enveloped the town. She didn't react to the tear that ran down her cheek either. Must be the allergies.
_____________
A small giggle made the woman turn off her TV and frown. Where did it come from? She was sure that yesterday she said goodbye to the last people left in Westview besides her. Or was it today? Last week? It was hard to keep up with time when you were the only person living in a town.
Anyway, it didn't matter when it was, the point was that she shouldn't be hearing giggles when she was the only person here. And she definitely shouldn't hear them coming from her front garden. In the night.
She frowned as she walked to her door, but wasn’t really worried. It was Westview after all, nothing bad ever happens here.
When she got closer, she heard the giggles again and gasped. They were baby’s giggles.
The woman quickly opened the door and gasped again when she saw a baby girl lying on the grass, playing with something that looked a little too much like the pendant she kept on a box at the bottom of her closet.
She seemed around 9-months-old and giggled when she saw her. Agnes was confused when the baby crawled up to her and sat right at her feet, extending her tiny arms to her. It was strange, of course, but who was she to ignore such a cute creature? She carefully took the baby in her arms, feeling like she was doing something wrong, something that was forbidden. And she was. She was remembering, and memories weren’t allowed here.
But she also felt happy, as if she just found something she never knew she was looking for.
Sissy.
The name came to her mind, but why? She didn’t know this baby.
“Well, well” she smiled to the baby “What do we have here?” She blinked when the baby pressed her tiny hand to her cheek “What are you doing here, little devil?”
“Mama” the baby giggled and Agnes gasped.
Her eyes turned purple for a moment and she blinked, tears falling down her cheeks as Sissy giggled again and pressed a kiss into Agatha’s chin.
“Elizabeth?” she whispered “How-”
She heard steps behind her and turned to meet a pair of red eyes and a smile with long fangs.
“Hi, Little bird”
Bonus:
Agatha chuckled when she saw Sissy’s little feet from behind the curtain. They were playing hide and seek and the 1-year-old girl was terribly losing, not that her mother would say it out loud.
“I wonder where Sissy could be?” she smiled as the baby giggled.
“Boo!” Sissy jumped from behind the curtain and Agatha gasped, pretending to be scared.
“Elizabeth Harkness! Don’t you dare scare your old mother like this, little devil” she jokingly scolded her and the girl laughed as her mother crouched down and kissed her cheek.
“Come on, love, let’s clean you and make dinner before mommy gets home” she said and took the girl’s hand, walking with her to the kitchen.
The witch didn’t know where you were, you just told her you would be back soon. She trusted her beloved wife, and loved to play with her daughter, so she agreed to take care of the little demon while you were out. She didn’t say anything about your wicked grin, tho. She knew better than to push her luck like that. Besides, she would enjoy that conversation more once you were back and in the bed.
_________
Wanda frowned when she heard the knock on her door. Nobody should be able to find her here!
The witch’s hands glowed red, ready to fight whoever it was. She didn’t expect it to be such a beautiful woman with a gentle smile.
“Hello, Wanda Maximoff?” the woman asked and the witch nodded
“Who are you? And what do you want?” she asked and stepped back when the woman’s eyes turned red and her smile turned into a wicked grin.
“Name’s Y/N Harkness, and you hurted my wife” You said, letting your fangs grow “Say goodnight, little witch”

ULTIMATE MASTERLIST
Sunlight danced through the crack in the sheer curtains in your shared bedroom and glinted off of the ring on your finger.
Wanda couldn’t help but stare at you, appreciating every detail of your face, the way your nose twitches occasionally, the sound of soft breathing coming from you, and the rise and fall of your chest as you simply existed in this moment. She thanked every star she could that you existed. You changed her life for the better and she dreads to think of what life would have been like without you and the two beautiful children you gave birth to six years ago.
You kept her grounded, you and the kids made her feel loved like she hadn’t felt since Pietro was taken from her.
Wanda would be damned if she let anything take her family away from her again.
Wanda still had her nightmares, the scars left behind from Vision and from Pietro, her parents, and Agatha were still there. But thanks to you those scars became simply that, scars. Scars that were faded but would forever remain there.
However, as her old fears started to fade, new fears came to light.
Some nights she dreams that Agatha had been right, that Wanda only brought chaos and death. She dreams that you and the kids died horrifically like everyone else she had ever loved.
Other nights she dreams that she is the one who killed you. On those nights you spend hours combing your fingers through her hair and rubbing those familiar comforting circles on her back. Bringing her back to where she was now, that you and the kids were still alive.
Then there were those special nights when her dreams were sweet and full of love. Sometimes she’s reliving a happy memory with her family before the bombing, sometimes she dreams of Vision and sometimes it’s with two boys that she doesn’t recognize but she knows she loves. However, if she’s really lucky, she dreams of you. Wanda dreams of sitting on the porch with you, sipping steaming tea with honey, grey and white in your hair, but your eyes are as youthful and as full of love as ever. Wanda dreams that her hair is peppered in grey and white as well, wrinkles of time written on her face, and that in the end she had never been what Agatha claimed she was. the Scarlet Witch, the Harbinger of Chaos, the Destroyer of the World. She dreams that all of that was just myth and that in the end all Wanda was, was Wanda Maximoff.
Your wife.
Wanda feels the corners of her lips curl upward as she remembers proposing to you. She did it at home, she hid it in the popcorn and you nearly choked on the damn thing. After spitting the ring out Wanda had the worst case of butterflies she ever felt. Wanda knew that marriage was an off subject for you and you weren’t quite sure how you felt about it and Wanda respected that greatly. However, she wanted to let you know that if you ever change your mind, Wanda would gladly marry you whenever you wanted, be it fifty years or an hour. So long as she got to be with you in the end.
Wanda’s patience with you and the respect that she held for you and vice versa. You didn’t know you could fall even more in love with her.
You and Wanda had been happily married for three years now and it was safe to say this was the happiest either of you had ever been.
“Staring’s rude babe.” You muttered under your breath as your lashes fluttered before you fully opened your eyes. Taking in a brand new day in the same old world.
“Stop being so beautiful in the morning then I’ll stop.”
“Am I not beautiful any other time in the day?” You teased her.
“No,” Wanda said before starting to litter your face in soft kisses.
“You’re gorgeous in the afternoon,” Wanda whispered as she kissed your neck, nipping it slightly causing you to giggle. “You’re exquisite in the evening,” Wanda’s lips trails up your throat, her talented hands wandering as she did, “and you’re downright divine at midnight when the moonlight peaks through our curtains and bathes you in this silvery light.” Wanda’s lips are at the corner of your mouth now, your breathing now becoming hitched as Wanda’s lips are so far yet so close to your lips, “It’s at that time of day that I stare at you the longest.” Finally Wanda’s lips place a gentle but loving kiss on your lips. Her lips on yours never failed to make your heart flutter like it was the first time, fireworks and electricity running through you like wildfire.
Just as you were about to deepen the kiss you heard the door to your shared room slam open, tearing your lips from Wanda’s to see two small figures rush and jump on your and Wanda’s bed.
“Good Morning Mama and Mommy!” You heard the excited voices of your twins say. You and Wanda scooted aside to make room for the two already rambunctious twins in between you.
Steve immediately went to cuddle by your side while Scarlet went to Wanda. Even when the twins were infants they had a preferred parent that they naturally drifted to. For Scarlet it had been Wanda and for Steve it was you.
You looked at Wanda who looked at Scarlet like she was the world, in fairness she looked like that at Steve and you as well. And instead of scaring you, it felt nice. It warmed your heart to know that Wanda felt the same way, that the people in that room right there were your entire world.
Once the twins settled in between you, you and Wanda kissed the tops of their heads to which Steve giggled as you kissed raspberries on his cheeks.
“What’s on the agenda today little ones?” Wanda asked, Wanda often missed out on most of the day due to training with Strange. She’s gotten very proficient over the years at controlling her powers, Wanda’s learned more about herself and what she could do over the past six years and the more she learned the more frightened and amazed she was.
“We’re going to go pick raspberries to make jam and pies!” Scarlet said excitedly.
“Don’t forget,” You chimed in, booping your daughter's nose lightly with your index finger, causing her to giggle her bell like laughter, “that’s only after we finished our classwork today.”
Steve let out a groan while Scarlet seemed to buzz with excitement. Scarlet loved learning, and Steve did too although not as much as his sister.
You had been homeschooling them, for fear of the worst. You knew that they were young and the likeliness of their powers showing themselves when they were really young were slim. However, you knew that their existence alone would cause a tsunami of reporters and agents ready to probe them. You knew there was a chance that their powers may never come, however until you were certain you and Wanda thought it best to homeschool them.
It wasn’t bad, you took them to the park for them to play with kids their own age. After all, Nat did teach you the best way of hiding was in plain sight and acting naturally.
---
You and the kids had just got done with school work for the day when you grabbed three baskets and headed to the raspberry bushes in the garden. Wanda had cast a spell on the bushes to make them grow raspberries anytime in the year.
You laughed and watched lovingly as the kids ran around the yard playing tag. You counted your blessings that they got along with each other, maybe all the Sokovian whispers to your belly had done something after all.
You gathered the three baskets of raspberries and brought them back inside. You washed the raspberries at the sink and occasionally checked outside the kitchen window to make sure that they were alright.
After cleaning the raspberries you fixed them with a snack of apple slices and celery. You went on the porch to call them in when a vision of red, white and blue caught your eye.
the Shield.
It brings you back to Steve, his baby blues and his smiles and Tony’s funeral.
You had heard what happened in New York with the Flagsmashers all those years ago and you would have gotten involved had you not been heavily pregnant at the time.
You're brought back to the present when the Star Spangled Man with a Plan (now upgraded with wings) asks your twins where their mom was.
“Sam...” You say, the tall man turned to you and it was then you see that he wasn’t alone. You don’t know how you could have missed the roaring of the motorcycle in the yard and the other tall man. “Bucky....”
The men walked toward you while the twins ran.
“Mommy! Mommy! There are people here to see you.” They say at the same time, it wasn’t very often that you had company, much less unexpected company.
“I see that,” You said evenly, keeping your face straight as the two men in front of you widened their eyes in realization. You tear your eyes away from them and to the two children in front of you and you knelt down to their height. “Why don’t you two go inside and play while Mommy talks to these gentlemen for a second.”
“Do you know who they are?” Lettie asked curiously, her eyes scanning the men.
“Do we get to meet them?” Steve asked excitedly, looking amazed at Bucky’s metal arm.
“I’ll let you know that in a second, but for right now go inside and play.” You said firmly, the twins waved goodbye to the men before heading inside. You waited until you heard the door close behind them to walk toward the men in front of you.
“Boys,” You greeted motioning the porch chairs on the other side, “take a seat.”
Sam and Bucky listened and sat down.
“Do you want a drink?” You asked, arms crossed.
“Got anything strong?” Bucky asked. His eyes are not meeting yours.
“It’s Scotland and I am a mom to twins,” You pointed out, “of course I do.”
“I’ll take that then.” Bucky said, you looked at Sam who simply shook his head. You went in and grabbed the only bottle of Whiskey and a glass.
By the time you gave Bucky the whiskey they seemed to have processed what they just saw. Sam looked at you with pity and concern, meanwhile Bucky looked off in the distance, anger radiated off of him in waves.
“Are they Steve’s?” Sam asked. You simply nodded.
“I only found out a month or so after the funeral,” You revealed, “I didn’t even know I was going to go through with the pregnancy until the events of Westview happened.”
“Why didn’t you tell us?”
“The less people that know the safer they are,” You explained, “I wanted to tell you.”
“But you didn’t” Bucky chimed in, his voice was shaky and his grip on the glass tightened.
“They’re the children of the former Captain America and Sargent Steel,” You said, “I have to keep the people who know about them tight and few.”
“Who all knows?” Sam asked.
“Director Fury, Director Rambaue, Pepper, Strange, Wong-”
“Does your husband know?” Bucky interrupted. Sam looked confused before he noticed the subtle wedding ring on your left hand.
“Holy shit you got married.” Sam said, astonished.
“Yes I am,” You confirmed feeling slightly awkward since it only took you this long to realize that you never officially came out to them.
“My wife knows.” You said vaguely, you see both of the men's eyes widen in shock. Sam recovered faster than Bucky who took another drink from his whiskey.
“Who’s the lucky girl?” Sam asked.
“That would be me.”
You all turn your heads to your wife, still clad in her Scarlet Witch form. If it wasn’t for the fact that you had company you know your lips would be all over her by now.
She winks your way and you flush. Wanda didn’t need to read your mind to know exactly what you were thinking.
“Hold up,” Sam said, “You married her?!”
“Yup.” You confirmed as her form sat down next to you and grasped your hand.
“How long has this been a thing?” Bucky spoke for the first time in a while.
“Why do you need to know?” Wanda asked, her hand firmly holding yours. Bucky held his hands up in surrender before taking one last swig from his glass.
“The bottom line is, only Wanda and the rest know, and I guess now you two do as well.” You said. There was a long pause of silence, before Sam spoke.
“I won’t say anything.” Sam said finally, before nudging Bucky out of his staring spell.
“Boys,” You call out as you see that they’re about to leave.
“I truly am sorry you had to find out this way, but I was only doing what I thought would keep them safe, and now that you know you’re free to visit them anytime.... It would be good for them to finally meet their fathers old friends.” You said. You see Sam and Bucky nod, you reach out for a handshake only to be pulled into a firm hug by Sam.
“I understand Sarg, you only did what you thought was best.” Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes as you returned the hug. Bucky still couldn’t look at you.
You knew that you had broken his trust and you would work on getting it back. You just hoped that whatever grudges he had against you wouldn’t stop him from forming a bond with the kids.
After Sam lets you go Bucky surprises you with a hug as well, his beefy arms encasing you firmly.
“We’ll be visiting again soon.” Bucky promises as he lets you go and shakes goes to shake Wanda’s hand.
“Wait,” You say as Bucky already is making his way to his motorcycle and Sam prepares for flight.
“Yeah?” Sam replies.
“There’s one thing I don’t get,” you said, “what brought you guys here?”
Sam paused for a second before replying.
“I was just flying overhead, Bucky and I got word that there might’ve been an abandoned HYDRA base here but, turned out to be a faulty tip.” Sam said before saying his final goodbyes as he lifts off into the air and Bucky peels out of the driveway.
“He was lying.” Wanda says, her eyes giving off a faint red glow.
“I know.” You say, Sam’s pulse jumped when he spoke about the abandoned HYDRA base. You softly grab her hand and bring it to your lips, planting a small peck to the back of it.
Wordlessly you walked hand in hand with Wanda through the front doors and continued with the regular evening schedule.
You and Wanda made dinner as the kids helped set the table and talked about the day. The kids asked questions about who the men were and you and Wanda answered as best as you could without giving them the full truth. Which was surprisingly more difficult. Eventually dinner ended and while Wanda got the kids ready for bed it was your turn for dishes. After dishes were washed and rinsed you let them air dry in the rack and went to tuck in the twins with Wanda.
Wanda and you kissed their heads goodnight and then proceeded to the couch.
Just as you made your way to the couch you noticed Wanda standing still.
“Wands, what's wrong?” You asked, reaching out to her.
“Nothing it’s just,” Wanda started as she played with her hands, “I have a bad feeling, like something is about to happen.”
“Come sit on the couch and talk me through it.” You say as you lead her to the well loved couch. You and Wanda sit and immediately fall into the position you always do, her leaning into you and your arm swung around her shoulders. Wanda had long since transformed out of her Scarlet Witch form but she still looked magical to you. Her fiery locks cascading down her dainty shoulders and just a hint of sparkle on her cheeks remained. You felt Wanda give a deep sigh before speaking.
“I don’t know what it is, it’s not anything deadly but it fills me with dread just the same.” Wanda said with her green hues giving off a faraway look, “something is about to happen and I don’t know what it is.”
“Whatever happens,” you say, maneuvering her so that way she faces you, “we’ll face it like we’ve done most things. Together.” You press your forehead to hers and let your eyelids flutter shut and Wanda follows suit.
“Together.” Wanda whispers back as she finally closes the gap between you in a promise like kiss.
---
---
---
“Buck don’t do this,” Sam tried to stop the centurion. Over the course of six years the two men had grown close and eventually Sam had earned the privilege of calling the taller man Buck.
“He has the right to know.” Bucky responded, icy eyes focused solely on the communicator that their mutual friend gave them for ‘universe level threat emergencies only’
“We promised her we wouldn’t tell anyone Buck.”
“No,” the Brooklyn man gruffed, “you promised her you wouldn’t tell anyone. I didn’t promise shit. So don’t worry your pretty little head about breaking your promises.”
“First off thank you for finally admitting that I’m pretty,” Sam said before attempting to snatch the communicator and failing. “Second off, we should’ve told her the truth from the start. Instead of leaving puzzle pieces to put together.”
“She had plenty of puzzle pieces. It's not our fault she didn’t put them together.” Bucky said not looking the man in the eye, “He left her a message on the phone and a message in the personal notebook. It’s not ou-”
“If you’re going to say not our fault again I’m going to slap you.” Sam interrupted. “You know damn well that (Y/n) was as strong as steel, but Nat and Tony’s deaths wore her down, but HE was the breaking point. HE fucked up man, HE has to live with that and THAT’S NOT our job to help him make up for that.”
Just when Bucky starts to reconsider, the communicator beeped.

Credit goes to the anon who suggested Freddie and Jim having a date night while Kash babysits Khaleel.
--
Part 39 of Jimercury Kid series
‘We might have overdone it with the wine a bit, darling.’ Freddie slurred slightly, resting his head against Jim’s shoulder as the car went over a speedbump, making the whole world spin.
‘Agreed.’ Jim chuckled as he placed a kiss into Freddie’s hair. While he wasn’t quite as inebriated as his husband, he wasn’t too far behind.
When Kashmira had offered to babysit Khaleel so Freddie and Jim could have a date night, the two men leapt at the chance. Of course, they loved spending time with their little boy more than anything, but once in a while it was nice to take a break from parenting and have an hour or two to themselves.
Freddie treated Jim to a romantic meal at Shezan, one of his favourite restaurants. The last time they had dined there, in the early years of their relationship, Freddie had played footsie with the Irishman under the table and spoon-fed him ice cream until Jim was scarlet with embarrassment. Tonight, they recreated that infamous date; Freddie booked the same table in the basement, they held hands and blew each other kisses between courses, and when dessert arrived Freddie pretended the spoon was an airplane and Jim's mouth the runway.
Jim attempted to return the favour, but by then they had already consumed several glasses of wine between them, and most of the ice cream ended up on Freddie’s nose. This proved to be a fatal mistake; they completely fell apart, laughing themselves to tears, completely oblivious to the disdainful looks they were receiving from their fellow diners.
Fuck them, Jim thought. Life is too short to worry about what other people think of you. He and Freddie knew that all too well.
Once the bill was paid, they all but fell into the back of the car, still giggling like children and only just about able to sit upright while Terry rolled his eyes at them fondly through the rear-view mirror. The drive home was a mess of sloppy kisses and uncontrollable laughter until they pulled into the driveway and Jim managed to still his hand long enough to unlock the gate.
They stumbled through the front door, clumsily pulling at each other’s clothes, Freddie moaning loudly as Jim pinned him up against the wall and scattered kisses from his neck all the way up to his jaw. They somehow managed to navigate their way to the lounge and collapsed onto one of the loveseats; Jim had just shrugged off his jacket and Freddie was fiddling with the Irishman’s tie when the light was flicked on, making them both jump.
‘Fun night?’ Kash said from the doorway, her brows almost reaching her hairline.
‘Shit…’ Freddie mumbled, wriggling out from underneath Jim and getting to his feet, trying in vain to appear sober. ‘We were just-’
‘Don’t need to justify yourself to me.’ His sister cut in, waving him away. ‘It’s your house and you can fool around on your own sofa if you want to.’
Freddie’s cheeks went pink, and he quickly smoothed back his hair. ‘Did Khaleel get over okay without us?’
‘He was a bit upset towards bedtime, but Phoebe made him a hot chocolate and he settled down by nine. He was an absolute angel all night.’
‘Thank you for watching him.’ Freddie swayed slightly on the spot; he was a bit embarrassed that Kash had seen him like this. He had always made a point of keeping his more rambunctious side away from his family. ‘I’m sorry about…’
But Kash didn’t appear at all fazed. ‘Don’t apologize for going out and having a good time. Lord knows you’ve earned it. I’m a big girl Freddie, I can handle seeing my brother drunk. I’m not going to have a stroke like Mama would.’
From the loveseat, Jim sniggered loudly.
Once Kash had said her goodbyes and left, the unruly pair ascended the staircase as quietly as they could, poking their heads around Khaleel's door to check on him before retiring to the bedroom. They didn't even bother changing into their pyjamas as they tore off their clothes and fell into bed, too drunk to do anything more than exchange a few sleepy kisses and do a bit of fondling.
‘I love you.’ Jim mumbled against Freddie’s lips, his voice heavy with fatigue but nevertheless sincere. ‘I love you so fucking much, Freddie.’
‘Love you too.’ Was Freddie’s garbled reply, his head feeling like a slab of concrete. ‘Love you to the moon and back, you… you bloody Irish witch, you.’
Jim laughed so hard he was certain he would pull a muscle in his stomach.
Ahhhh I loved this😭😭 It's such a beautiful piece filled with references to Mercury and Me, and oh my heart I am crying.
And lmao, idk why but I find the idea of Kash walking in on them to be very funny, so kudos to the anon who came up with the prompt!
And ahh, bloody irish witch.... I love this nickname so much😂 I may have even written a fic titled a bloody irish witch as well sorry for this shameless promotion

@irnmaidn [ IVY & CASS : childhood friends au ]
“You can trust me! I’m just like your Mama. See?” A little girl---her face marked with mud, scratches and bruises---reaches her hand into her pocket and pulls out a black pile of dirt. She scoops it into both hands & says a little prayer, a kindness of affirmations & praise, her voice feather-light like the tinkling of bells and places a wet kiss to the soil.
Slowly but surely, a tiny sprout begins to emerge and unfurl into a rosebud, small and dewey, a pinkish-green... If the other child was any farther away she might not even be able to see it. “They caught me doing this and I had to run away. I don’t have anywhere to go...” The girl’s voice is a whisper, her lips and brows wobble, the verge of tears.
That’s the start of their story, but not the end.
All witches live in the forest. It’s something Ivy, as she now calls herself, knows fully well and with deep satisfaction. She belongs here. Hidden away except for when women & children need special help for their sorrows. Their hearts call to her, and she hears them. She lets them & only them inside---and then she hides herself back behind the shroud of the Earth. She’s better at being alone. You can’t lose anybody. And nobody can chase you away.
Her skin has grown green with magical excess---her connection to the nature of her powers, and her body has grown shapely with age. She hides it in her own approximation of men’s clothes---a suit of armor like leaves&vines tailored to her body---bound breasts. Her voice has deepened with weariness and age, husky and low & mostly unused, except to sing to her plants---but her scarlet hair has remained its brilliant same all this time, merely growing longer, all the way down her hips.
When the carvan passes by the shroud and stops for the night---she thinks she must be seeing things. There’s no way that’s her----no way someone so finely tuned to magic & nature wouldn’t have already noticed her shroud, as well----but as the woman takes watch over their carvan clearing in the night, so too does Ivy take watch over her. There’s no mistaking those messy curls---those freckles. She’s more beautiful&handsome now than she’s ever been, muscular, well-toned, and with an edge of mystery that comes from so much time since their last meeting and that strange furrow of her brow so beyond their friendship together---but there’s no denying. That’s her first, and only friend.
She stalks her from the shadows behind her. The nature surrounding them grows denser yet, as if Cass is being further watched by every plant & animal in the forest. It seems to close in on Cass & the Caravan, from all directions, claustrophobic, tying, swallowing whole---and then, suddenly Ivy pounces on Cass from behind. “CASSANDRA!” She stage whispers, tackling her with a grin. “I knew you would come back!”

When Witches Connect Over Literature (Lumity Fic) (Pt 6)
Chapter Six: A Friend To All Is A Friend To None
youtube
She had woken up in a dark, void room. No one was around, and the room seemed to pulse in time with her heartbeat. 'How did I get here?' she thought to herself. Darkness grew above her, as shadows surrounded her, all chanting the same thing; "S H E  W I L L  N E V E R  L O V E  Y O U." The voices grew with each chant, to a thundering roar as they screamed, chanted, yelled. She fell to her knees and started to sob. "No...no...NO! It's not true!" but her sob of terror went unheard. It was pitch black. The voices had stopped. And something near her was growing brighter...
"Mittens! Wake up, you don't wanna be late for school." Emira laughed, as she stood above her sleeping sister. Amity jolted up, grumbling as she glared at Emira. "Emira, it's a Saturday. We don't have school." Amity groaned. "Oh, I know. I just knew that it would wake you up." She laughed. "Besides, you got a message from your little girlfriend~" Emira teased. Amity snarled at her sister, and elbowed her in the arm. "Just give it to me and then get out of my room." She grumbled. "Aw, but what if I wanna stay?" Emiria giggled. "Leave or I'll scream." Amity growled. Emiria, not having any fun anymore, handed her the letter and walked out of the room. Amity opened up the letter. Inside was a lot of glitter, Azura drawings, a ripped out section, and a message.
"Hi Amity!
It's Luz here, sorry for the glitter, King insisted it would make the paper better somehow. He's correct. Anyways, I was hoping if we could have a weekend Azura bookclub? Y'know, just us two friends being the best of friends! Ah, wait a minute, Hooty's trying to eat-
Sorry if part of this letter is ripped, Hooty bit some of it. But anyways, I'll be at the Owl House if you wanna do it and we can walk down to the library together!
~ Luz"
Amity's heart skipped a beat, which really isn't healthy, but then again she was a magic being. She folded the letter back up and placed it in her desk. "Edric!! Tell mom and dad that I'm going out with friends!" She called. "Are you sure it isn't your hu-" Edric was about to finish, but Amity quickly sped out the door.
_______________________________
Amity made her way up the road to the Owl House. Personally, she had no idea how Luz even continued to live there, considering the..."bird" thing. Not to mention that fuzzy demon, and the Owl Lady herself. 'And what? You would rather she live with you, and your parents find her and take her away from you? Pfft, yeah right.' she thought to herself, rolling her eyes. But inside, she was hurt by the thought. She neared the door to find "Hooty" casually trying to kill a bug. Amity shuddered. 'So creepy...' she thought. "Oh, heya there Luz's girlfriend!" Hooty called. Amity blushed deep scarlet. "Say that again, and I will flip your insides out." She growled. "Oooh, I wanna see what my insides look like, hoot hoot." Hooty hooted. Amity stood there, with a bunch of weird mixed emotions. "Hooty, let the dang girl in already." Eda called from inside. Hooty obliged and Amity walked into the house. "So let me guess," Eda started. "You're here to see Luz aren't you?" Amity blushed for the 100,000,000th time in her life. What was she, a gosh darn dragon? "You'd be correct." Amity mumbled. "Great, I'll go get your little girlfriend and then you two can go do...I dunno whatever teens do I guess." Eda said. She walked upstairs to get Luz. Amity huffed, still blushing at the mention of Luz being her girlfriend. She sat on the couch and closed her eyes.
"You're in my spot." A voice said below her. She looked down to see the tiny king of demons, with his little arms crossed and a tiny glare. She rolled her eyes and scooted away from the spot she was sitting in. King hopped up, spun around to find a position to sleep in, and with a yawn and a scratch at the couch, he clonked out.
"Hey Amity!" The familiar voice of Luz called from the stairs. She wore her usual smile that made Amitys heart do somersaults, which should be medically checked out because that does not sound good, but nonetheless. "Hey Luz." She smiled shyly, tucking back a loose strand of hair behind her ear.  "You ready to go?" Luz asked. Amity nodded. She got up and followed Luz to the door. "Don't die and stay safe and all that motherly stuff!" Eda called after them. "Why does she feel the need to say that?" Amity asked. Luz shrugged but was smiling. "Cause she's Eda and she does what she wants."
___________________________
The two girls made it to the library, giggling over a joke that Luz had made. To be honest with herself, Amity didn't think the joke was that funny, but she just loved, er, thought the way Luz said it was funny. The two headed into the romance section and sat down on the beanbags.
"Okay, the reason I wanted to call you here is because I wanted to show you something." Luz said, rummaging through the bag she brought. She took out a thick stack of paper, draw stringed together with the title, "By Magic, I Declare I'm In Love (A Azucate Fanficton written by Luz Noceda)" Amity stared at it for a moment before looking up confused. "What's fanfiction?" she asked. Luz gasped. "Fanfiction is a masterful art that can bring two of your favorite characters together or break them apart upon your own will...or in some other cases, for sickos who believe that two band members will hook up despite them having no romantic interest in each other. OR, in my case, to write about the relationship I'll never have." Luz said. Amity blinked. "...What?" Luz shrugged. "Short version, it's basically taking preexisting characters from a show, movie, or book, and writing scenarios that haven't, won't, or aren't confirmed yet. Some fanfics include more shipping, but other times, it's for writers to flex their creative juices." Luz said. Amity slowly nodded, still not understanding what the hell fanfics were (and at this point, so was the author), but she was starting to get it. "So, Azucate is Azura and Hecate together?" Amity asked. Luz nodded. "You're fast." she commented. Amity blushed slightly at the compliment(?) "I wanted you to read it." Luz said, handing the stack to her. Amity held it, studying how some edges of the paper were crumpled or had ink stains on them. She looked up at Luz, who was eagerly awaiting the final verdict. 'Gosh darnit Luz, you're just too cute!' Amity thought. She opened to the first page and started to read...
*LONG HOURS OF READING AND EMOTIONAL STUFF LATER*
"...Luz..." Amity commented after reading the entire 5 chapter story. Luz bot her lip and held her breath in anticipation. "That was...a emotional... journey I just undertook." Amity said, eyes wide. "So... you liked it?" Luz asked. "Liked it? I LOVED it!" Amity grinned. Luz was startled by how happy Amity was. "You...you thought it was good?" Luz whispered. Amity nodded vigorously. "Luz, you should be an author!" Amity said. Luz laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck. "Well...writings just a past time, not something I wanna pursue." She said. Amity shrugged and handed Luz back her book. "Well, I thought it was great," she paused. "Why did you wanna show me it?"
"Well, I was wondering, since I noticed you are really good at art if you could draw some scenes of the story for me?" Luz asked. Amity's jaw dropped. "OF COURSE!" she cried, a little too eagerly making Luz recoil a bit. Amity cleared her throat. "I mean, of course." she said. Luz smiled. Suddenly, her phone rang.
"Oy!" Luz jumped. She looked down at her phone and her face paled. "What's wrong?" Amity asked. "My mom is calling, oh god, she probably wants to facetime, uhhh, quick, Amity, scooch my beanbag to the wall and wrap your head in a blanket!" Luz started ordering. Amity, quickly translating what just happened, moved the beanbag to the wooden wall and grabbed her blanket and put it over her head. Luz accepted the call.
"Hola mamá, ¿cómo estás?" Luz asked. Amity blinked over what language Luz just spoke. "Luz ,mi nena, ¡te extraño mucho! I'm doing okay, baby. How are you?" Her mom asked. Luz bit her lip and squinted a little bit. "Estoy muy bien mamá," she finally said. "solo quería dejar-" "That's great baby, I just wanted to check in on you, after all, I miss seeing your face. I assume camp is going well?" Luz froze, calculating in her head what to say next. "Uh sí, el campamento es divertido, oh espera, ¡por cierto hice una nueva amiga!" Luz grinned, pulling Amity close to her, much to Amity's dismay. "Mama, meet Amity! Amity, this is my mom!" Luz said. 'I'm basically meeting her mom already and this isn't even a relationship!' Amity thought. "Hola Amistad." Luz's mother said. "Uh, um...hola?" Amity guessed. She had no idea what that meant. "She doesn't speak Spanish mom." Luz said. "Ah, sorry about that." her mother apologized. Amity just nodded and crawled over to her beanbag opposite from Luz. "Well, it was nice chatting for awhile Luz, but I need to get back to work. Adiós cariño, mantente a salvo, te amo." Her mom said. "También te amo mamá, intentaré estar a salvo." Luz replied, and ended the call. Luz slumped over in the beanbag, clearly dejected. "Luz?" Amity scooted over to Luz with concern. "No se como decirle que me gustas," Luz whispered. "que si ella no me acepta por ser así. Oh dios, ¡soy un desastre!" Amity blinked. "...What?" "Nothing." Luz said, getting up. "But I think we should end early, I need to...I need to take a nap." And with those words, Luz walked out the door. Amity sat there, letting the blanket slip off her head and just stared at the door. She sighed, grabbed her things, and left as well.

Luz made her way back to the Owl House, slowly feeling tired and flustered. She opened the door, not even recognizing that Hooty said nothing to her. She made her way to the couch and face planted into the cushions. "Heya kiddo, glad you're back I need you to-" Eda stopped at the sight of her apprentice. Her weird motherly instincts took over. "Kid," she said softly. "You alright?" There was a grumble from the cushions that Eda couldn't fully translate, but the message seemed to be that of leaving Luz alone for her teen angst or something. "Kid, if you ever need to talk about something," Eda started. "You know I'm always here to talk about anything with yo-"
"I'm in love with Amity Blight." Luz said.

can we talk about little!reader finally trusting mommy!wanda after being scared and nervous around her to finally having soft moments with her
i actually touched on it a bit in this headcanon set
but like god. thinking about how u go from sitting curled up against mama wanda while she talks with scarlet witch not yet mommy wanda and you’re just trying to process the whole thing, her coming bursting into your lives and your mama offering your home as a safe space for sw wanda to heal
and it slowly becomes her home as well, and it’s so odd to you how…familiar she is. yet how far away from you she seems. she doesn’t initiate conversations with you when you’re little, really. you think it scares her a bit, to see the way you offer your most vulnerable self to mama wanda. she doesn’t even step foot in you and mama’s shared bedroom for months, afraid of inserting herself into that intimate part of your home.
that familiarity is the key for you though, because you know that behind all the pain and anger and grief that this wanda is at her core, the same woman you love so much. she just needs the extra care, similar the care that usually wanda is providing to you. so you start trying to engage with her more, warmth filling your chest as you go from seeing her almost shaking with hesitation to even give you a hug to relaxing fully when you crawl into her lap instead of mama’s.
the first time you call her mommy she cries, holding you tight against her like she’s afraid you’ll vanish like everyone else. whispering against your skin that she’s so happy to be your mommy. mama wanda cries too, so you’re left with two blubbering wanda’s to comfort and cuddle.
after that mommy wanda is a lot more at ease around you, and her more teasing nature comes out. poking fun at you and sneaking you the snacks mama tells you not to eat before dinner.
one of mama wanda’s favorite moments was when she left to go to the store and returned to find you laying on top of mommy wanda, both completely knocked out sleeping on the couch. she put a blanket over you both, dropping a kiss on each of your heads, then went to go make mommy wanda’s favorite paprikash
