I'm pretty new around here but um, for the 1k special, how about Shadow and Rouge?

I had way too much fun with these. Initially I was gonna try to redraw some scenes from Black Angel, because it involves robbing a safe, which seemed in character. BUT. If I do the Maltese Falcon, then Eggman is the FatMan. It's too good to pass up

Maltese Falcon is brilliant for the way it precipitates a total epistemic breakdown as you watch it. The more information you get the less confident you are that you have any understanding of what's really happening. Everybody changes their story like 3 times and has an obvious motive each time they do it. By the time they finally get everyone in the same room to have a talk and figure out what really happened, they've already decided on a fall guy, and in the resulting narrative it turns out that's the guy who actually did everything. Is that convenient or are they just making up this entire story out of whole cloth? Who knows! Not you!

And then at the end the utterly mercenary guy who's never been shown to care about anything but money gives up a ton of money purely to ensure everyone gets caught - did he care about his partner after all? Who! Knows! This is great. I approve of this.
