sometimes writing is just seeing a word underlined in red that you know is spelled right, so you check to see what it wants you to correct it to, and it turns out you've been spelling it the british way your entire life

I've seen some people who are saying "Kaeya already chose Mondstadt!"

Sure, we can agree that his heart is with Mondstadt, but his storyline so far isn't leading to a clean-cut decision at all. Something will happen that will make him decide, and that means there will be heavy consequences for either choice.

He could learn vital information that would make deciding hard for him, or he could be forced into doing something he doesn't agree with to keep others safe.

He'd do everything to protect the people he loves and cares for, and if that might mean teaming up with the Abyss or the Tsaritsa? Even if he might get hated for it? Even if it could kill him? He'd do it.

And do not be so quick to think that he doesn't care for his homeland- a nation where time and time again, the narrative of "not all of its citizens deserved getting cursed" and "there might be a cure to the curse" keeps coming back (the cure being known to an Alberich at that, as far as we know of). No matter how he may feel about his father, he is still aware of his responsibilities as an Alberich. He says he doesn't hold much concern now for his birth nation, and yet he has used what he knows in concerning ways ( Windblume letter to Venti that could be perceived as a threat/warning, luring out Dainsleif with his surname)

Basically, what I'm saying is that there is no way it is going to be that easy for him.

I didn't even say it before. My birthday is next Monday, April 15th. Yes, the same day Donald's nephews celebrate their birthday. I don't know about you, but I would love to get a present for the day and see Huey, Dewey and Louie (DuckTales 2017 version) in spacesuits as astronauts and see Donald and Della in the same. I would really like to see it as my birthday present. And also something related to Huey and Gosalyn together. They can be in human form, I accept that. Okay, maybe I'm asking too much, but if you want to do something for me for my birthday, here are some ideas. I'm talking about drawings actually, which I would like to see for my birthday, and if not, maybe fanfictions.

i'm sorry this is so fucking funny. that pathetic loser shakespeare who loved puns so much it cost him everything, except of course his status as the most famous, most read, most immortal english-language author of all time. but everything else, he lost and it's all because of how weak he was to resist a pun :/ pouring one out for my sad little girly man who could have had it all if only he was better at writing, the thing he is the most famous guy in the world for.

also i can't get over writing a book about the types of ambiguity and NOT INCLUDING PUNS?? sorry but puns are ambiguous! that's where their juice comes from! imagine liking ambiguity so much you write a book about it but never mention puns except to dunk on them. imagine being a POET and POETRY CRITIC who looks down on sound-based ambiguity! could not be me!!

So much happened in this episode!!

I'm baffled by Shin Yu's problem solving skills, or rather lack thereof. They seem to consist of doing whatever the heck he wants, when he wants with little care for anyone else (dragging Hong Jo outside and outing their relationship to the whole office very publicly and forcibly WITHOUT ASKING HER was a SHIT MOVE) and that's not the only time he's done or said without considering Hong Jo's opinion or her feelings. He's hurt her quite a few times due to his inconsideration and honestly Shin Yu's got some growing to do before he's good enough for Hong Jo. YEAH I SAID IT.

But putting my annoyance at Shin Yu aside, this was a cute episode and I'm glad Hong Jo's finally able to return Shin Yu's feelings without feeling like The Other Woman or like an embarrassing secret of his. We're at episode 10 with 6 (?) more episodes to go, and the slow burn's been burning. Very slowly and teasingly. Had Shin Yu talked to Hong Jo about having an arrangement with Nayeon early on they could've been together much sooner and these past 10 episodes would've easily been condensed into 5-6. Shin Yu wouldn't have seemed like such a two-timer to Hong Jo and the viewers. But the writers made some risky choices and I can respect it, hah.

The journey here's been extremely confusing, but finally some pieces are falling into place. Flower creep's been casting dark spells and making the dolls, which was honestly to be expected given his stalkerish antics and the straw found at his greenhouse/garden. I was hoping for Witch Nayeon's appearance, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards (too bad).

I am SO GLAD that Shin Yu kinda grew a spine during this episode, though, because having Shin Yu and Hong Jo miscommunicate for several episodes would've been even more painful to sit through. At least some things were resolved in this ep, like Shin Yu's breakup with Nayeon and the reason why Shin Yu stayed with her for so long. Not a super satisfactory reason to keep it a secret from Hong Jo for so long, though, btw!

There were several cute and spicy scenes in this episode like the scene at the bridge, the little moment in the elevator and the 🔥🔥🔥scene 🔥🔥🔥 at Shin Yu's office, which I enjoyed a lot not gonna lie, even though it was very PG-7 in the end (boo!).

We had Hong Jo's confession scene and the comeback of the Red Hand, which was of course Hong Jo's as a couple of people had predicted since the very beginning. Which may or may not mean more unhappiness for our main couple.

The last point of confusion seems to be which spells are real and effective and which ones aren't. Also I wonder what Hong Jo told Jaekyung. And will Hong Jo come to remember her past self?

Mermay's over, but I'm not done with it! Anyway mermaid Tang Xuan Au where Tang Xuan is a octopus based mermaid and Li Ling is like a rich aristocrat. They meet when they are kids and become best friends then Tang Xuan goes away. So a few years down Li Ling is an adult and thinks he made it up till Tang Xuan shows up again. Lewis is also going to be in this idea (cause he deserves it) but I don't have an exact idea. I'm thinking sailor who was friends with Xuan and Ling when younger and also has to go away but stayed in contact with Tang Xuan

You put down Octupus!Merman!Tang Xuan, solid as octopus are know for their flexibility and adaptability, but I raise you WingedFish!merman!Tang Xuan, specifically Four Winged Flying Fish. Fast, sleek, [small,] and can perform decent feats of acrobatics when it launches itself out if the water and into the air. They use their ability to speed boost to outmanoeuvre predators, so they're agile too!

Lewis would be a legend, spread in multiple small towns and isolated villages, as a pirate who shows no mercy to other ships that cross his territory, his wrath setting ships ablaze with a terrifying plume of fire that the townsfolk can see clearly from the comforts of their beach. The screams of these tortured sailors travel with the wind from their emblazed ship, providing easy fodder to scare unruly children into doing their chores and listening to their elders.

In reality, Lewis is in a petty sibling cat-and-mousrle game with Bonnie, Lewis actually being part of the Western King's admiral fleet and trying to catch up to his Pirate!Sister before the Royal Navals find her. She smuggles herself onto pirate ships, in the hopes of joining a crew and going on bloody adventures, but since she's a bit too... Excitable... And aggressive... And bloodthirsty... The Royal Naval fleet always gets involved, and Lewis is almost always there to at least rangle her off the ship. He is fine with his sister's dreams, he just wishes they were a tad less violent so he didn't have to lose sleep over her potentially getting caught and sent to the gallows.

With that being said, Bonnie is a bit of a legend herself, among the pirates, as her figure holding a crude, hodge podge farming scythe in one hand and a ball of fire (actually a lit flask) in the other, is the omen before their ship explodes and they're left to die a slow death. She appears out of nowhere and vanishes just as abruptly too.

Then everything you said is happening between our two boys, with the added spice that Li Ling goes off to find his friend, with the idea to find this Legend and join his crew, so that there will be no rules stopping them and no eyes and ears reporting back to his family. Of course, he hops on his Best Friend's™ ship, Lewis, not realising that this man is the Legend and Lewis can only keep a poker face and act like this Fire Fist legend is someone he's met rather than himself.
