Magickal Room Spray 💦✨

Hello darlings 🥰

A DIY Room Spray can be a delightful way to infuse your space with magical energy. Follow these steps to create your own magical room spray:

Step 1: Choose Your Intention Decide on the specific intention you want to infuse into your space. It could be protection, relaxation, clarity, or any other energy you wish to cultivate.

Step 2: Select Essential Oils Select essential oils that correspond to your intention. For example, lavender for relaxation, rosemary for clarity, or sage for cleansing. Research their magical properties and choose the ones that resonate with your desired energy.

Step 3: Gather Supplies Gather the following supplies:

A clean spray bottle

Distilled water

Witch hazel or vodka (as a dispersant)

Essential oils (according to your intention)

Optional: Crystals, dried herbs, or flower petals for additional energy.

Step 4: Prepare the Blend In your spray bottle, combine 2 ounces of distilled water and 1 ounce of witch hazel or vodka. Add 10-15 drops of your chosen essential oils. You can adjust the amount based on your preference and the strength of the scent.

Step 5: Infuse Magical Energy Hold the spray bottle between your hands and visualize the intention you want to infuse into the spray. Imagine the energy surrounding the oils, filling them with your desired intention. You can also place crystals, dried herbs, or flower petals into the bottle to enhance the energy.

Step 6: Shake and Energize Close the spray bottle tightly and gently shake it to mix the ingredients. As you shake, focus on infusing the blend with your intention. You can also say affirmations or chant a simple incantation to amplify the energy.

Step 7: Application Spray the room spray into the air, allowing the mist to permeate your space. Visualize your intention manifesting as the spray disperses. You can use it during rituals, meditation, or anytime you want to enhance the energy in your surroundings.

Remember to label your room spray with the intention and ingredients used for future reference.

With your homemade magical room spray, you can create an enchanting ambiance that aligns with your intention. Experiment with different essential oil blends and find the perfect recipe that resonates with your magical practice.

Writing Vault

The Familial grouping has come with a new template, and has gone very successfully. Since changing how I rotate through adding information, I have been adding information rather rapidly and world-building. It's pretty neat how it's all coming together, but some of my maintained indexes are out of date now. I don't want to slow down my momentum to update them, so I'm foregoing them for now. Perhaps it is worth entertaining that they hinder the process. I went and updated them roughly when I began building this decade of lore (we're picking sides in a feud!) and maybe that's what I'll keep doing, update them every decade or major event or something.

On my graph I have begun to show Humans as their own color. This is so as the feud begins to take off, I can track a smaller faction in the Humans. I am also going to attempt to tag, or otherwise keep track who is on what side of the feud as we begin to really dig into the sides.

While that is all happening, we are building magical teachings and skill. This is an explosive decade for all kinds of development, but we've recently gotten our writing system down, so now we're going to use it for stuff!! This also calls into question who is Literate and who is Not, so I am thinking of beginning to use several tags.

Since tags can be nested, and since certain characters are developing magic, I am going to attempt to work things like so:

For the developing magic, I am going to use #MagicalCraft/Ability in order to keep track of who has what ability and who is developing what craft. For the feud which I consider an event, I will use the tag #BMF/Family to denote which family the person supports. And these will only be used as applicable. So for Literacy and other such things, that can be #Craft/Ability, eg, #BasicSkills/Literate.

Though I guess I could always finally finish reading the Players Handbook and just make character sheets n shit using the Fantasy Statblocks and put these tags within that... hmmm perhaps a different Madalynn can undertake that quest.
