The Enchanted Mop: A Fable of Wishes and Responsibility

In the bustling town of Brookshire, there stood a quaint little janitor's closet tucked away in the corner of an elementary school. Inside this closet, amidst the clutter of cleaning supplies, there resided a humble mop named Max. Max was no ordinary mop; he possessed a magical ability to grant wishes to those who wielded him.

At first, Max's magic remained dormant, unnoticed among the buckets and brooms. But one fateful day, a curious custodian named Clara stumbled upon him while tidying up the closet. Intrigued by the gleam in Max's handle, Clara picked him up and gave him a gentle shake.

To Clara's astonishment, Max began to glow with a soft, ethereal light, and a voice whispered in her ear, "Make a wish, and it shall be granted."

Clara blinked in disbelief but decided to humor the magical mop. "I wish for a clean and sparkling school," she said with a smile.

No sooner had the words left her lips than Max sprang to life, gliding effortlessly across the floors and wiping away dirt and grime with each stroke. The classrooms gleamed, the hallways sparkled, and the entire school was transformed into a shining beacon of cleanliness.

Word of Max's magic spread quickly throughout the school, and soon, everyone wanted to make a wish. Students wished for straight A's on their exams, teachers wished for lesson plans to magically complete themselves, and even the principal wished for a never-ending supply of coffee.

But as more and more wishes were made, the school descended into chaos. Students became lazy and stopped studying, teachers neglected their responsibilities, and the principal spent all day sipping coffee instead of attending to his duties.

Clara, witnessing the chaos unfolding around her, realized the true nature of Max's magic. With a heavy heart, she confronted the mop and begged him to undo the wishes that had caused so much harm.

To her relief, Max complied, reversing the effects of the wishes one by one. Students resumed their studies, teachers returned to their lesson plans, and the principal took charge of his responsibilities once more.

In the end, Clara learned an important lesson about responsibility and the consequences of seeking shortcuts. She tucked Max away in the janitor's closet, vowing to only use his magic sparingly and for the greater good.

And so, the janitor's closet in Brookshire remained a place of order and cleanliness, with Max the magical mop standing as a silent guardian, ready to grant wishes to those who wielded him with wisdom and responsibility.

I need to yell about Arthur disassociating with Uther, his direct involvement in persecution and Morgana. Uther made Arthur his accomplice, having him arrest magic users, lead a Druid raid at 15, hunt magic creatures etc. He had to check out. He had to dehumanize. He always fell back on magic being evil even when he had increasingly mounting evidence it was neutral because if he didn’t then what he’d had done was evil. Then his father was evil. Then he was evil. Morgana was just a witness to executions and witch hunts. She didn’t need to protect herself psychologically or emotionally from the realization that this is evil; he is evil. Eventually it turned into I need to punish him because he is evil; it is my right to punish him because he is evil; it is my right to punish him because he was evil and hurt me; it is my right to punish them and everyone they love because I believe they were evil to me. Just like Uther.

Snape, to this day, forgets he's a wizard, and will use physical force for things magic can take care of (stuck jars, high objects, ect)

Sirius keeps forgetting he's just human. Meaning that if he doesn't have his wand he will absolutely fail at the most basic tasks if they require more than the bare effort. A jar's lid is on a little too tight? He abandons it because it doesn't work anymore. Something is too high up? It stays there. The floor is wet? Wait, floors get wet??? (nepo baby black never had to dry a floor in his life. because of this he hasn't realised that no, floors don't magically dry themselves, some house elf was always doing it). Literally any task that isn't magic focused, he can't do (again, Nepo Baby Black)

So when they're all living together and can't use magic, Severus is at his wits end because he thought he was clueless about stuff (neglectful depressed mum and abusive dad means that he never got taught a lot of things), but at least he knows that no, duvets arent designed to flatten out with time, no, clothes do not lose the creases if hung up, and NO, JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN'T OPEN THE MARMITE DOESN'T MEAN ITS BROKEN STOP THROWING OUT FOOD YOU ABSOLUTE BLOODY SHOPPING TROLLEY-!

Was trying to like. Imagine how a step-mother Penelope/step-daughter Athanasia AU would work. Claude would either never know about Penelope’s affair (or at least does not suspect about the pregnancy. Somehow) or would be so blinded by grief after Diana’s death that he would just pathetically accept Penelope back.

Obviously she could not pass Jennette as Claude’s so ..?? She would probably huh. Keep her as her forever dirty little secret or eventual pawn to use (maybe she is passed off as countess rosalia’s daughter?).

Her relationship with Athanasia would depend a lot on whether Athy is still reincarnated or not but I guess Penelope would either roll with Claude’s mistreatment of her (and probably have him disinherit her because she is, after all, his low-born bastard) or play the kind step-mother for politics (and the rest would also depend on whether or not they do have children together later on. maybe Anastasius using her as his black magic baby machine fucked her body up). Just imagine. The drama

I hate Toichi as much as the next guy but it kinda makes sense why he faked his death and has ( probably ) only told Shinichi’s dad

For all we know the crime syndicate Kaito is fighting against was actually trying to murder Toichi and for all we know maybe Shinichi’s dad was the only one that new KID = Toichi so it makes sense he’s the only one in contact with Toichi

He is probably just waiting to reveal himself as alive to his son once they’re actually safe
