"The Forest"
An illustration I painted and turned into an animated gif. This was very tedious but I like how it turned out.

Enchanted Faerie Paint
Making enchanted paint is a delicate craft that only faeries practice in the nooks and crannies of old forests and beneath the roots of tall trees. This enchanted material is a tool of powerful effect over their surroundings as well as a representation of their bond with nature. In order to preserve their domains, spread beauty to all they encounter, and weave their magic into the fabric of nature, faeries make magical paint. Making this enchanted paint is a complex and captivating procedure. Faeries gather components under the light of a full moon to infuse each ingredient with the mystic energy of the moon. One of the main ingredients involves extracting dew from the petals of rare, luminescent flowers that bloom only at night. The delicate petals of these starblooms are believed to contain the essence of starlight. In order to give the paint its magical qualities, faeries combine this dew with finely powdered earthly minerals and a little of their own iridescent dust. Faeries stir the concoction with wands made from old willow branches, infusing the paint with the strength and wisdom of the forest.

This paint has a wide range of magical qualities. When used, it can create a protective veil over the faerie worlds by making objects invisible to those with malicious intentions. Additionally, the paint can enhance the beauty of nature by making flowers blossom more vividly and trees grow stronger and more luxuriant. Further, it has the ability to convey emotions; a faerie's joyful paintings have a gentle, warm glow, while its sorrowful paintings have softer, more calming hues. This paint, with its changing colors and symbols, has the ability to speak, conveying cautions or messages to those who can interpret them. Once made, the paint finds applications as diverse as the faeries themselves. They frequently rub it into tree bark to create defensive symbols that deter potential threats to the enchanted forests. Only those with an acute sense of magic may see these subtle shimmering symbols. Faeries also use the paint to decorate their homes and wings, adding a touch of elegance and beauty to their secret world. Applying the paint to wounded plants or animals not only expedites their recovery but also restores harmony to the natural world.

Sometimes, and usually by accident, non-faeries come into contact with this magical paint. Wandering painters may find a drop of paint left by a negligent faerie, captivated by the forest's enigmatic charm. This paint changes their works and gives them a subtle yet amazing vitality when applied to their own artwork. A picture can capture the genuine spirit of the person, exposing hidden depths and emotions, or a landscape might glisten as though caressed by the first light of morning. Through these works of art, people unwittingly disseminate beauty and wonder outside the boundaries of the faerie realm, sharing the enchantment of the faeries with the rest of the world. Faeries' creation of enchanted paint is evidence of their strong bond with the natural world and their wish to spread enchantment throughout the earth. Carefully and purposefully constructed, this magical substance reminds us of the beauty and mystery that lie just beyond our senses, acting as a bridge between the visible and invisible. When non-faeries come into contact with this paint and use it in their own lives, they unwittingly continue the faeries' legacy of wonder and enchantment, adding hints of magic to the world.
