oyabun gojo & secretary reader:

they initially met through the gojo-gumi!! secretary!reader initially joined cos their father owes a massive debt to the gojo family and the syndicate as well, so the whole family got wrapped up in the underworld. satoru was impressed by secretary!reader’s well… everything and the infatuation built quick. later on he nulled secretary!reader’s father’s debt and ‘released’ him and his family

but back to the infatuation stage… satoru started asking secretary!reader to do the most benign tasks and accompany him to places that any normal secretary wouldn’t be going with their boss 😭 etc etc silly things like that. he was crushing HARD and wanted to always be around them. but things rlly escalated when he started picking off his Own Men that were unhealthily obsessed w/ secretary!reader. I’ll get into That another time

satoru and secretary!reader were basically cat and mouse but with a twist. satoru thought he was the cat, doing the chasing and the cornering and whatnot. but really he was the mouse being lured by secretary!reader’s breadcrumbs and secretary!reader made him WOOOORK for their attention. secretary!reader may be farrrr below him in the chain of command in the gojo-gumi but they defo hold 90% of the ‘power’ in their relationship

they’re a very obnoxious couple ahrkahrjsj. sarcasm and jokes and playfully annoying each other is their love language. nanami choso and ijichi can barely stand to be around them for more than 10 minutes at a time cos the couple is always kekeing, obnoxiously flirting w/ each other, and just generally being insane

but secretary!reader gives satoru a sense of normalcy that he hasn’t felt ever— all his life, all he’s ever known is that one day, he’d become the oyabun. he knows violence and blood (that he’s spilled + his blood family) and control, but with secretary!reader, he gets to know love and affection and unwavering trust and an understanding that goes beyond Everything

oyabun geto & reader from garuda’s angels (yuki’s syndicate):

this reader is actually yuki’s younger sibling 🙂‍↕️ they’re deeply intertwined with all the syndicate’s affairs and have grown up in the garuda’s angels, just like how suguru grew up in the sutoraifu-gumi. suguru and reader have Known of each other since they were teenagers, but they didn’t truly Know each other until a few months after suguru knocked kenjaku down a peg and became oyabun (suguru was around 19-21)

the garuda’s angels may be a neutral party but ever since suguru become oyabun, the garuda’s angels and the sutoraifu-gumi became Close to being allies. not fully but again fairly close. so reader and suguru start running into each other more often

on one hand you have suguru, a calm, reserved, highly analytical and calculated gentleman of an oyabun. he’s very much a forward thinker that has a finger in every pot and has entire scenarios planned out way in advance; and when things don’t go his way, he has a way of manipulating things in his favor. and on the other hand you have reader from the garuda’s angels, a Highly unpredictable, headstrong, ‘guns blazing’ and ‘fuck around and find out’ type of biker. outwardly they’re fairly chill but in a way that screams danger, like ‘hey, we’re smiling and chatting now, but one wrong word and suddenly im not so friendly’.

so suguru and reader clash a bit for a while. not overtly but they’re a bit passive aggressive towards each other without stepping on each other’s toes. things are like that for a while until they’re not and they realize that oh, i really do like this person. huh.

reader softens and unwinds suguru. he’s much more relaxed and a little loose-tongued in their presence; he learns how to let go a bit, to forget the weight of his duties and the leash he has on everything. suguru’s behavior and values equally influence reader. they’re very much the couple that grows together and they both raise the other up. suguru is also very protective of reader even though they can hold their own and mopes when reader leaves for days at a time on garuda’s angels business

First Year Wrap Up

First year is officially over. Today was our last presentation (MI4016 - Sound Design). I can't believe it's been a year since we first started. I'm keeping this blog for my updates for the nostalgia.

I finally feel free. And we survived!!!! For a whole year.

Next task is to work on SLDF but I don't feel too stressed since we aren't being graded and we will be working with Dinendri.

We went to Havelock city mall and watched The Wild Robot with the gang. Hemansha's gang came too. Surprisingly Idu didn't yap and actually watched the movie. Either that or the sound was too loud for me to hear.

Anyways it was a good movie and I feel the difference with watching an animation as a design student vs before.

I knew there's a lot of work behind working on a movie and I always took note of the visuals, sound and characters but I did not have the first hand experience on what the crew goes through to make one. Ie I did not know the technical aspects or the critical thinking necessary during a production process.

Now I have a better idea. I know the importance of something as simple as a colour palette and how much it impacts the visual aspects of a movie and visual storytelling (omg MI4012 vibes).

I also have a better understanding of my classmates when it came down to group projects.

Ace fr went in blind as a bat not knowing shit and he’s SCORING. He’s on top of the world right now and there’s nothing that can change that (he’s on a lot of morphine)

BUT SEBEK ENTERTAINING HIM AND HIS WEAK ATTEMPTS AT CONVERSATION IN A WAY THATS SO SEBEKKKKK😭 Counting how many times Ace has said he was pretty in the last 3 hours coming off a head wound💀

BUT SEBEK LOCKING RUGGIE OUT OF THE ROOM IN RETRIBUTION FOR GIGGLING LEAVING HIM TO THE WOLVES (Diasomnia + freshmen + mall employees)

Ruggie’s nearly ripped to shreds for information while Sebek and Ace are just chilling in the hospital room with fingers intertwined taking about anything that’ll keep Ace from falling asleep.

Got this ask I wanted to share, Listen…..what about….Sebek getting a part time job….as some form of training

HE INFLICTS THE TRAINING UPON HIMSELF AND DIASOMNIA HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA ABOUT IT

He hears about Yuu complaining about how their world treats like. Fast food and retail employees and says "their job is literal HELL i dont know how they do it! everyone should treat them with respect" and he's like "HMMM A PERFECT WAY TO TRAIN MYSELF!!!"

So, during winter break, he takes up a job in both a fast food place and a retail store. Alright, hold up right there. Hey. You, the one reading this. Search up "jolibee worker uniform." Yeah. That's right. That's what he's wearing in the fast food place that is unrelated to Jolibee. Yeah.

Everyone in the Not Jolibee thinks he's a PAIN to work with because he does not get how these customers can end your entire career with a single recording. Either he's too loud, or he judges a customer's order, etc.

His boss sets him aside for a bit and goes "customer is always right bla bla bla" and what he doesnt know is that. Sebek treats any higher authority's words as LAW. So his performance suddenly SKYROCKETS and everyone else realizes "oh shit bro he's just a fucking puppy man. a little guy. if a customer starts telling him to refund their order he's going to refund their order now oh shit"

These guys have to work together to make sure that Sebek doesn't fall victim to sleazy customers and Karens. Except Karens have no effect on Sebek because anything they say goes over his head. "I'd like to speak to your manager!!!" "MY MANAGER IS BUSY, BUT I CAN SET UP A TIME AND PLACE FOR YOU!!!"

They get so put off by him that they leave. Everyone cheers. Sebek is now their Karen-repellant.

Anyways, Sebek gets whiplash from working in a retail store because there are NO uniforms to follow after. At best you just have to present yourself nicely. But not a single worker in Twisted Wonderland follows this rule because they just dress the aesthetic of their store. So, naturally, Sebek feels the need to follow after them too.

...did I mention that he works in Not Claires. Yeah, imagine that. Put their aesthetic onto Sebek. Yeah, YEAHHH.

Across from Not Claires is the Scorching Point (Totally not the twst equivalent of Hot Topic), and these two stores have NEVER interacted with each other. In comes Sebek, entering the mall in the most blandest outfit ever. But these retail workers see his stoic face, slicked back hair, and think "Oh. Scorching Point guy. Alright"

Imagine their surprise when he enters Not Claires instead, asking for the job. Someone from Scorching Point faints. Before he actually does any work one of the Not Claires employees suggest that he dress up like them for the appeal and to fit in with the general look of the store. Sebek says that he will.

Everyone has NO expectations for what Sebek is going to wear because bro literally went inside a mall looking like he goes there to window shop for household appliances only for their jaws to drop when he comes in with his hair down and decked out in PASTELS (He asked for help from Riddle who asked for help from Cater because "Sebek what the fuck is a Not Claires what is that"). Sebek had to be FORCED by Cater to style his hair down btw

And the thing is!!! Even if he works at Not Claires he ALWAYS goes over to Scorching Point on and off his shifts. Talks to this specific girl for some reason. Everyone else ignores it. The second week that Sebek's been there, a Scorching Point employee finally walks up to the Not Claires girl who always mans the cashier and asks for her number.

A bridge has been made between the two retail stores, carried by two lesbians and the green haired kid they like to gush about their crush to.

...Diasomnia still has no idea about this.
