so. ive been talking to this guy for a long ass while, you can scroll thru the last tag on this post to see what its all about, but long story short is this: i asked him out two saturdays agoto my friends going away party (which was held this past friday). hes met this friend once before, and we planned to meet at her place and then maybe go out to the bars after

entire week he is super into it, texts me more often than normal, creates a spotify blend for the two of us (w that feature that lets you combine your tastes into a single playlist) like im getting VIBES. and he asks abt our plans!!!! we make a solid schedule!!!

night of the party he texts me at 8:45 checking in to see if its all happening and i say yeah. i get home from work, change, then get to my friends house and text him that im here. he doesnt respond for an hour and finally says something abt how he has to charge his phone before coming out. im like ok man whatever i just want to hang so do what you gotta do. another half hour passes and then he hits me with the "hey idk if im gonna make it out". im disappointed by this, so i respond with like a "damn that kinda sucks :/" message. at this point i expect him to stop messaging me, but then he texts me quite literally for the rest of the night. like he literally doesnt stop until i text him that im walking home.

saturday i see him in person for a short period when he does the close out but another driver fucking also comes to sweep the store and just. will not stop talking to the dude in question. he like tries to get away twice but between customers and this other guy we dont talk like at all. after the other driver leaves and the store is closed he comes back in to use the bathroom and like stands by the door for a moment so i like look over but all he does is smile and wave then leave.

SATURDAY NIGHT. he texts me at like 8 responding to a text i had sent the previous night asking if im going out again tonight. i said yeah (bc a separate friend had a party) and he was like bet lemme know where youre at i might stop by and see you. i send him the address of the restaurant and proceed to hang w my friends until midnight. hes again texting me all night abt getting ready to head out but when we finally leave he hits me with the "finally leaving now where should i meet you". at this point i am exhausted, as ive just finished my first week of classes, had drunk heavily over the past 48 hours, and had worked a 13 hr workday that day. i text him and say im like too tired im going home and hes like damn :////

yesterday night. i do an eras movie night w my friends and i send a picture of the opening sequence to the ppl i have snapchat streaks with. he snaps me the rest of the night and is like "ohhhh you should have invited me" and stuff like that and its like. i didnt invite you for a multitude of reasons but like you ditched plans once this weekend and kept pushing back the other time i tried to invite you out, so why do you think i would ask you a third time???????

Just rewatched Astro Boy 09 & man I think the art style choice was good for the times but hoooo I forgot especially after rewatching 03 Astro in Japanese coming straight from that episode 50 into that mess how disappointed English speaking fans would be. I think the writing & some line deliveries weren’t the greatest which is what made the movie weak. More like some dudes fanfiction than an AB movie. But also idk if that’s fair bc I’ve read some rlly top notch AB fic soooo yeah 🤷🏻‍♂️ but also lemme just rant for a min there’s parts of this movie that rlly rlly work & I love I think some of the subtle quick ways were shown Astro’s powers like when he first learns he can fly & then directly afterwards starts digging thru the side of the mountain is great. Also unpopular take prob but I think the president Stone guy kinda works as a surface level AB villain. Def 🤮🤮🤮 @ Tenma’s design ever since I saw the movie in 2010 I’ve always hated bros design but like who doesn’t at this point this is rehashing old news. Also I get that Nic Cage knew the source material & is good on screen but idk if it was his delivery or just his lines written that poorly or if I’m relooking at this post round 2 of 03 anime for me but his char was so off. Also DEF AFTER 03 anime the war between robots/humans getting boiled down to the goofy RRF bots bruh I’d be so pissed if I worked for the companies involved in making this movie. YOU HAD GOOD SOURCE MATERIAL IF U CANT FIT IT ALL IN THE MOVIE DONT INCLUDE IT!!! Also alsoooo again prob reiterating old news but the Amerification & dumbing down of the source material to be more palatable for kids is just sad. Also weird using Tenmas Japanese last name but Ochans English name was always kinda huhhh?? to me. The surface kids I used to think in my kid brain were waaaay more fleshed out than they rlly are which is kinda funny since they literally just show up & are there a handful of scenes, handful of lines & then that’s it. I’m torn too bc idk if it was necessary to have the new kids or work in Tamao, Kenichi, & Shibugaki somehow & I liked the new kids too. But man this movies a hot mess. First of all I’m SO sorry I’ve been terrible about checking my inbox and answering asks I’m working through them slowly I promise

So! We all know while I’m a ridiculous multishipper (especially where Kyle is concerned), NOTHING tops style for me! SP otp no question. Why? Because I ADORE ships that start off as friendships and develop into something more! Style in particular I think is so appealing because they already know each other so well from being super best friends their whole lives and I love the idea of them both “secretly” pining for the other longggg before either of them confess. And there’s the added bonus of their dynamic, at least the way I interpret them most of the time: Kyle being passionate and hotheaded, Stan being more reserved and friendly until he gets worked up enough. Kyle being “WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?!” And Stan being “yeah whatever, dude” if you catch my drift.

My number one favorite aspect of Stan’s personality is his protectiveness. Not just as a headcanon, but in the show and games as well. We see him protective of his friends (especially Kyle) as well as Wendy. Yesterday i was watching sp (ofc I was) and the way he got sooo pissed at Cartman when he was talking shit about “his gf” in Dances With Smurfs lmfao. And I mean, Stan chooses to play as a KNIGHT when the kids are playing their fantasy game. So yes, his protectiveness.

For Kyle, definitely his passion. My boy sees an injustice and he is FIGHTING it. A good example of that is the most recent special. Kyle and Cartman DONT get along well, but Kyle finds out that people who need weight loss medication and can’t get it because people are abusing it? He’s fighting like hell to make it right, dealing with the convoluted ass American healthcare system, literally learning how to make it himself. Bro doesn’t do ANYTHING half assed.

I know as of late the PCE fics haven’t been pumping out the way they used to, and I had some medical and mental health reasons for that, but back in the day the fics were coming faster than a repressed horny teenager jackin off (Sry I had to lmao) Anyway, a lot of the reason I was able to write so quickly is because I’m CONSTANTLY writing in my head. Like if I’m not focused on doing something else, there’s a story I’m making up mentally. And I’ve always done that; it’s just a year and a half or so ago that those stories became South Park focused and I started writing them down and posting them. I’ll be driving or trying to fall asleep or doing chores around the house or a menial task at work, and be writing in my head. So then when I go to actually type it out, it’s already mostly written. I’d say my process has definitely changed since the RANT groupchat, specifically with sharing my ideas as they come to me, whereas before I didn’t have that. Now I’ll just be all “hey should I add this” and have feedback that inspires something else I wind up adding. But yeah, long story short, I write quickly bc I write the whole thing in my head first lmao

I'm going to answer this and will tell you first up that I'm white. My wife/spouse mod horseshoe is Black and has very similar experiences and feelings. when I saw your ask I right away thought of her and showed her, asked if she wanted to answer. She told me she doesn't know how she can help you when she hasn't figured it out either.

So I will tell you that one, you are not alone. Two, I will answer you similar to how I support her. and three, she is consulting on this ask (as she does on many advice asks, in fact!)

I'm sorry you're going through this, and especially that it's affecting your comfort in going out and being around people.

One thing I have done to try to help is find other darkskin Black folks that are doing gender in similar ways to her, on the internet. Just finding images of people who are similar I hope helps. I'm not particular about what exactly their identities are, just going for style and vibes. Lemme grab some (sorry it's leaning on instagram just bc it's easier for me to search accounts i follow there haha but I swear there are cool black gendery people everywhere, i'm sure you know this)

my point here is that there ARE people out there doing androgyny, doing gender fun stuff and are Black and darkskin. maybe the people i'm recommending here aren't your vibe or style and that's totally fine, there are a lot of ways to be! i hope these can serve as some sort of inspiration for you. a reminder that gender diversity and androgyny exists and is possible for black people, that there are thriving communities and you have all sorts of options out there for you. also, remember that there are many ways to be androgynous, to be agender. maybe you're more a dapper butch, maybe more a sporty stud, maybe a skate style street style guy, maybe more a crunchy granola hiking outdoorsy look, maybe workwear and denim are more your speed, maybe you're a cozy dude who likes sweats and casual clothes, maybe you like bright colors and patterns, maybe you're into alt and goth styles, maybe you feel more comfortable in vintage and retro stuff. i promise that there is a way for you to look hot and feel comfortable in yourself and people will see your fabulous Black gender noncomforming self.

If you're into podcasts I recommend genderreveal by tuck woodstock- you can skip around and just listen to the episodes that interest you. I'm listening in chronological order because I kinda like going through time and seeing the development of things but you absolutely do not have to. There's a lot of episodes out, they've been doing it for a couple years now! there are plenty of interviews with black people of all gender varieties talking about their experiences and lives

i think. what's hard is that you can’t control how other people see you. you've got to come to terms with this. so you're most likely always going to have people not getting you, not understanding your deal (whether that's gender or something else). there's no foolproof way to get out of it or avoid it, no way to be 100% sure people will always gender you right or treat you right. this is not to say that you will never have people who get you, you certainly will and i wish that for you! i absolutely recommend you surround yourself with people you are supported by and who see you. but i'm not gonna tell you like "fuck what people think, do whatever you want" because i know it's not that easy ! trust your judgement, and trust your gut. all you can do is try to balance finding what makes you feel comfortable and what feels right to you with what feels safe. when you are feeling comfortable, it will help you to become confident. when you are confident and self-assured in who you are, what other people think of you and how they see you will not affect you so much. also, you deserve to be seen and gendered the way you want to be! i'm sorry it feels like it's not possible for you. I believe that it is possible, and i wish it for you soon!!

maybe you want to consider hrt, maybe top surgery, maybe try doing drag or drag makeup. experimentation is a huge thing and i can't recommend it enough. try practicing and experiencing with different styles, gender presentation, clothes, mannerisms, hair makeup jewelry whatever. you can listen to your feelings and your body and reflect on how you like it, see if it feels right. i recommend seeking out the things that make you feel comfortable in your body, find what makes you feel like yourself, and the androgyny and butchness (or whatever presentation you seek) will follow naturally.

OH BYO OH BOY OH BOY absolutely destroyed me!!!! made me lose my shit for about two whole days!!!! it was BAAAD. and its also THE most game changing thing to happen so far. gonna put what happens under the cut bc spoilers 😁😁

i just finished typing this oopsies i rambled about the entire comic

cw for a lot of things.

SO. lemme set the scene for you. you have 3 main characters: KK, BK and RK.

kk is the main protagonist. he is the 8th generation in a long line of heroes; the KK clan. he is utterly shit at being a hero and hes still so bubbly and silly and honestly kinda childish but i dig it hes aweaome. he also has some traumaaaa!!! bros dad kinda sucked (he was like. WAY too immature to be a father; worth noting that he's the 7th generation kk) and when his father didnt come back home from war his mom went out to figure out what happened to him and kickass. which left kk all alone for like around 10 years maybe more if im being honest. hes not okay <3333

bk, we know JACK SHIT about. hes the demon king/devil, whatever you prefer. he likes animals. he likes carrots. hes straightforward, blunt, and way too trusting and forgiving. but like people are scared of him cuz hes the fucking devil he just hasnt used his magic yet. it will be plot relevant im 99% sure. we know Nothing about his past. we know he was involved in the war against humans and demons when kk was a kid (which kk's dad fought in). and bk was essentially a refugee. he ran to the desert and some shit happens but its quite literally blurry we dont know whay happened. hes VERY overprotective of kk too!! like VERY over protective ykyk. so somethings going on with him.

RK. OH BOY, RK. rk is like severely fucking insane like genuinely he has so many fucking problems. he is surprisingly the one we know the most about considering how much of a mystery he was in the older chapters. he calls himself the alien and doesnt reveal his name. he flies. he has a box on his head all the time. he has a dead ghost girl hallucination thingy that he talks to ghat nobody else sees. he has a gun. hes amazing. dude has canonically committed quite a few attrocities like man. his first on screen murder was fucking BRUUUTAL. "see you in hell." GOD he makes me insane. anyways his past is SUPER fucked up; born with magic unlike anything his family has ever seen before, the king (his adoptive father) exploits it and uses it to kill captured demons. he also had this whole thing where he found kk's mom in jail, kept a photo of her and kk, and helped her escape which did end up killing her. and he forgot that. anyways dude has some fucked up shit happening and is severely gone in the head

worth mentioning that in season 2 the three find the one eyed village which is keeping a princess there. princess violet. ill talk about her a bit more later in the post. the one eyeds get fucking evaporated by a group of demons that are specifically out to get bk, and only a golden tree remains of the village. rk knows about this. kk doesnt know ANYTHING

so. this expansive lore stuff is revealed like throughout the comic in pieces. and it starts out funny and sillt and like slice of life comedy but it gets fucked up around season 3 where kk gets his sword fixed and it becomes alive. he then basically dies and goes to this world where he is fucking god. and his sword is there. and its imbued with the soul of this random ass guy qho we call the musician. and its fucky wucky. the guy who fixed the sword also had a buncha kids hidden behidn a wall and rk takes them each to their hometowns via magic portals whatever. this is also where we see rk fucking shoot said guy and go actually insane for like 15 minutes. ill show screenshots cuz what the fuck man. then season 4 where princess violet, a character from another kingdom whos sister (named princess L) killed herself during a fire in the kingdom (said sister is also rk's brother's fiancé no this is not confusing), goes through what is essentially a demon realm where she has to adhere to the rules of a demon her sister kept and find out which of her 6 sisters killed princess L. in the end its revealed that it was a suicide which is lovely :)

season 4.5 goes more into rk's past and rk's brother, rj. like. rj is the king of the kingdom, since rk's adoptive father passed away. hes a really cool guy but is DEFINITELY either marked by or an avatar of the lonely iykwim. he has like no loved ones around him he is alone man. he was also princess L's fiancé! i love him. anyways rk and rj reunite but then rk kinda hates the r kingdom so he leaves and also finally reveals to kk hes actually insane so :)

season 5 has like this tower which will be relevant i think cuz there was a teaser of kk's teacher entering it the end of season 6 season 1 and being shrowded by darkness. its not sinister at all trust me :). i dont remember this one well but it had to do with the best side character ever angel do i love you do

season 6 season 1. huge lore dump on rk's part. kk bk and rk find this tower that is stopped in time. two wizards live inside: oz, the moon wizard, and of, the sun wizard. they control the moon and the sun. they also are prophets, disciples of the first kk, and know a lot about what they shouldnt! including rk's forgotten past :) they task the gang to go to this portal and defeat the demon paimon lest it unleash chaos into this world. and they do!

along the way kk finds out about the one eyeds. he loses trust in bk, and rk has to give him a pep talk and it genuine is kinda sound actually the only w rk ever had

and they find the portal. they enter the realm. the demon there is named paimon, and is a fucjing bitch and was foreshadowed ALL THE COMIC. and are tasked with going through each a designated room. each room has a shit ton of clones of the characters. only the real one can go through the door at the end. kk goes through just fine, although he had a bit of conflict. bk made it through bc ofc its bk. and rk. oh. rk. his room is empty with scortch marks on the ground. and theres fog. its implied that he killed all of the rk's before proceeding. he goes through the door. as it turns out, the real rk already made it past the door, scratched up, from whay it seems. and what does the fake rk do??? he shoots the real one. in the heart. the real rk dies. just like fucjing that.

did i mention that rk cannot die?? hes tried killing himself. a lot. but each time he regens. the only places he hasnt tried are the heart and the head. so the fact that he was killed via the heart. ugh its so good its amazing from an analytical perspective i ranted about this before but its genuirnly amazing. the character thay is established as being hard to kill. killed at his own hands. it was his own hubris that failed him. raintime you bastard you are a fucjing genius how did you write such an amazing comic

i overall agree with your analysis of alexander hamilton. he is a slut, and he definitely had to have something going for him that would keep the ladies flocking to him. he probably had pretty strong head game and was good with the anatomy due to his plethora of experience. however, i do think he 100% always expects more in return from his partners than he is willing to give. he's not eating pussy simply for love of the game

now ik i said anna strong is a pillow princess but like peggy shippen is like THE pillow princess. she is not even pretending to put in any work because she knows she doesn't have to. this is a shame because i love her but it does have to be said
