Michael Afton - FNAF 4 crying child.

Michael, 23, lives alone in the old, molding Afton family home in the woods on the outskirts of town. Having suffered a traumatic event as a child, his head being crushed within the jaws of one of his fathers machines, he remembers very few details of his childhood or family. Now, he works with Henry Emily to put an end to his fathers sins, living out his days in front of a TV, or monitors, and waiting to die. He suffers from depression, an inability to eat, a bad sleeping schedule, and skittishness. He enjoys small desk-games, obscure candies, and rom-coms.

it’s very easy to tell the good satires and pastiches from the bad ones because the bad ones are too afraid to live within the form. like if you are doing work with fairy tales and you are refusing to look closer at the underlying logic and unspoken rules of what can seem at first to be a senseless form, you are not going to create meaningful work. to borrow a turn of phrase originally used by maria tatar, if you refuse to enter “the house of fairy tale” as anything more than a gawking tourist, you will miss the particular order to the way the table is set, the rooms that are locked vs the rooms that are simply difficult to enter, the set of the floorboards and the position of the furniture. whatever you build will then be a gilded imitation of how you believe the house of fairy tale ought to look, the table set according to your educated specifications and every door open. there can be no interrogation of themes from a writer who views the form as beneath them!

tommy goes but also because he’s the host so of course he has to be there. jack goes as a “joke” but has a fun time. badboyhalo doesn’t go but not because he doesn’t want to but because he does Not travel. foolish and tina show up in his place. tubbo puffy and phil of course go, as do charlie and quackity. hbomb would go i think less because of the server and more because he just likes hanging with people. i can see niki aimsey and eret going but it’s not as strong of a conviction. karl and hannah would maybe go also to be social which provides a 50/50 chance of purpled’s appearance. i think contrary to popular belief connor would go just because i swear to god i see that man in every major twitch/youtube event. sneegsnag would also inexplicably be there.

So I was chatting with @sayohazawa about the latest Iruma-kun chapters, and she pointed out something very fun to me that a friend had pointed out to her. In chapter 375, we see Lied getting dressed up as Lindy, but then in 376, we see her in a completely different outfit with a completely different hairstyle.

So not only does she know how to do her own makeup and put in her own hair extensions, but she also has multiple hairstyles she likes AND owns multiple outfits for this (which can't possibly be Shakky's 'cuz she's a completely different size), and she must have been actively deliberating on how she wanted to dress up.

I had then pointed out some other fun details, namely how it was Lindy who suggested they do the mall date anyways. Gyari just told them to do what they want.

Just about no hesitation, not a thought of going home and getting changed, just diving directly into a mall date as cute girls.

They were even taking selfies to remember the occasion with!

i love you - self-indulgent haha i couldn't resist. takes place in a similar continuity to my fic where light and L start a fake relationship for the investigation but when light briefly thinks it's real after he loses his memories. i think canonically light is too irritated with L's poor moral compass to develop true feelings for him even during this arc, but i do think it's reasonable to think light might develop a bit of a puppy crush and a desire for L's attention lol. simultaneously it's kinda a bit of L at kira.
