Managed to destroy a trace on my original motherboard while fiddling with the bluray bezel so I took the opportunity to upgrade the cpu/motherboard/ram/cooler. Everything’s running smoothly and I don’t have an ugly black bezel in the way anymore. (Good luck telling that it’s a bluray drive anymore)

That would be interesting because isekai Penelope does not care for Colin's travels. In her mind, he's wasting money and not contributing to anything. She's very unimpressed. When Phillip and her traveled to finish out his degree, he was actually studying plants native to the areas they visited. When Michael traveled, he was often doing some diplomatic work. Compared that to Colin, and what do you do again?

There is one thing Penelope loves, though, and that's a good story.

So let's say Colin and Penelope get locked in somewhere and something about it freaks Pen out, say she had a bad experience and this reminds her of it.

"Mr. Bridgerton, can you please tell me a story?" Penelope half begged as she felt her breathing get faster. She needed a distraction, or else she would freak out.

Colin immediately dived into the first story that came to mind, the story of Odysseus, starting with his marriage to Penelope of Sparta. Using descriptions of different landscapes from his travels that fit with the story. If nothing else to help the red head focus on something.

The story did the trick, keeping Penelope's attention on him and keeping her calm. When they're eventually found, Pen uses her manners and thanks her storyteller.

"You are an excellent storyteller, Mr. Bridgerton," Penelope said. "With your descriptions it almost felt like I was there."

Colin felt his cheeks heat up. "It was nothing. I just borrowed the landscape from . . . my travels."

Penelope nodded. "Perhaps you should think about writing a book. I would certainly read it if you did." Penelope did not say her private thoughts of how his travels could finally contribute.

Penelope waved as one of her pseudo siblings dragged her off. Colin is sure his blush has spread all over his face and down his neck. Maybe he should think about writing a book. Penelope seemed like she has good judgment.
