By Rowan Bosworth-Davies
This man has long proved himself unsuited for any position of trust, but apparently, we still need to remind ourselves of his manifest lack of suitability to be Prime Minister.
Of course, BoJo has wanted this job for many years, and he has long set out his stall to capture the honour.
When David Cameron called for a referendum to decide the future of our relationship with the EU, he little realised that he would be opening a Pandora’s box from which someone as unsuitable and dysfunctional as Boris Johnson would ultimately emerge, purporting to represent himself as some latter-day, Tory Messiah.
Very soon, an unrepresentative gang of approximately 130,000-odd, old, embittered, anti-Europe Tories are going to vote for the next Prime Minister of this country. This tiny rump of antediluvian fossils are almost certain to vote for this buffoon, this unmitigated chancer and consummate con artist to lead their increasingly cretinous party, because they are frightened of change, and of losing their status of entrenched privilege.
Unrepentant liar, serial adulterer and former public school buffoon
The entire Brexit episode has turned this country into a morass of gibbering idiots. It is a measure of how far down the scale of reality the Tories have sunk that so many MPs are willing to give their vote to this unrepentant liar, serial adulterer and former public school buffoon who now struts and frets his hour upon the stage.
I mean, it’s not as if these clowns have not seen the evidence of how BoJo behaves or conducts himself. Yet in the case of BoJo, all logic and common sense has deserted those who will be voting for him. Let us examine the facts.
Boris’ former boss, Sir Max Hastings, says BoJo is unfit to hold the office of Prime Minister.
The words of Max Hastings, who once employed BoJo as a columnist, give a good clue.
“Boris is a gold medal egomaniac. I would not trust him with my wife nor – from painful experience – my wallet. His chaotic public persona is not an act – he is indeed manically disorganised about everything except his own image management. He is also a far more ruthless and frankly, nastier, figure than the public appreciates. I would not take Boris’s word about whether it is Monday or Tuesday. He is not a man to believe in, to trust or respect, save as a superlative exhibitionist. He is bereft of judgement, loyalty or discretion. Only in the star-crazed, frivolous Britain of the 21stCentury, could such a man have risen so high, and he is utterly unfit to go higher still.”
One would think that with a reputation like that, the person concerned would be relegated to the dustbin of history, but not BoJo.
Unrepentant Euro-haters
He knows, in his water, that the small group of Tory crumblies who will queue up to vote for him in the Party election, are unrepentant Euro-haters to a man and woman. He knows that as long as he captures their imprimatur, he will become Prime Minister in our outdated and dreadful electoral system. To be Prime Minister of the UK is to hold one of the most powerful political roles in the world, and that is what this bumbling buffoon is after, power!
All his supporters have to do is to keep the faithful in their state of blissful somnolence, ignoring the facts about this mendacious liar for as long as it takes to get their cross in the box against his name. This is why he has been ducking all press interviews and debates, because his backers know he will put his foot firmly in his mouth if he is allowed the wiggle room.
Childish and immature
The Tories have manifestly failed to get their business through the Commons, and they should now be seeking re-election in a General ballot. It is unconscionable that someone who is as big a political liability as BoJo should now be standing on the threshold of taking power by default.
His views on Europe are childish and immature, (he spent years writing column inches berating the EU), and the Euro-managers are unlikely to forget or forgive his insults and jibes. Whatever demands he makes in Brussels will be ignored, and he will then drag us out of the EU in a ‘No Deal’ outcome. Of course, when this all goes tits up, as it will surely do, BoJo will blame Brussels for not giving him what he wants.
The words of lady Caroline Lamb, when talking about Lord Byron are very apposite here, and could just as easily have been said about BoJo.
“He is mad, bad and dangerous to know.”
Sadly, very sadly, we will all soon be realising how mad, bad and dangerous this clown truly is!

Quick guide to buying cryptocurrencies
You can get help from others at the That Cryptokorero Facebook page  This page you’re reading is http://bit.ly/2pRaKoy - ‘can email that to others.
IMPORTANT UPDATE FEB 2018 - SINCE CREATING THIS I HAVE SOLD OFF MOST OF MY CRYPTOS - My perception now in Feb 2018, is that we may be in a difficult phase where prices stay stagnant or fall. For months or even years. - The reason is that government regulators, who until now have mostly ignored cryptocurrencies, are currently examining them to enforce compliance with existing laws (and possibly new laws) about securities and trading practices.  - Despite that, the functionality of cryptocurrencies is still potentially superb and immense, just like when computers arrived and transformed the way we do things, mostly to huge advantage, despite the hassles.  - Do a search for ’Initial coin offering’ ICO and study a few to see what they do. Many ICOs have started at a price of a few cents, and risen to hundreds or thousands of dollars. That includes bitcoin and ethereum and litecoin.
READ THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK OF GETTING RICHER OR POORER   --------------------------------------------------------------------
15 MINUTES WAY TO BUY BITCOIN (okay, but not cheapest prices)
You can buy any fraction of a bitcoin if you like, e.g. 1/100th costs about $250.
Go to  https://localbitcoins.com and buy some there (the vendor will want you to email ID info: Photo of driver licence. Photo of you. Photo of you holding it next to your face. Photo of official document showing you live at your address), but usually can deliver bitcoin within 15 minutes)
I’ve dealt there with ‘NZShaun’ and had good, fast service, but compare prices - others may be better.
To get your bitcoin OUT into cash, either use LocalBitcoins selling, or open an account in Cryptopia, which is here https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=BTC_NZDT
Optionally, after you receive it, for slightly safer storage, create a storage wallet at https://greenaddress.it/en/wallet.html#/  or https://www.exodus.io/   and send your bitcoin into it.
------------------------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY (More details at bottom)
In 2010, a “bitcoin” was worth $NZ 1c a coin. It’s now NZ$21,208   (end 2017) A bitcoin is a very special, mathematically unique number, used as a ‘coin’. You can spent any fraction of a bitcoin, e.g. 0.001 BTC, about $3.40, for an icecream.
“Ethereum” (another electronic currency with specialized features) was under NZ$5 in early 2016, today worth over NZ$994.
Both are constantly rising by the hour, day after day, week after week - because they make transfer of money much cheaper and easier than when you use a bank that delays things and charges you for transactions.
You must not of course, invest in a way that would ruin you if it all crashed. But this is different from 'shares'. It's like the growth of PCs, or Windows, or the invention of the wheel - new technology that expands rapidly. You are supporting the growth of an excellent new way of transferring money. Good on you.
Note: Each ‘coin’ is a very special, computer-generated, distinct number. There will only ever be about 21 million bitcoins created, because it’s mathematically limited in the universe. So they get more and more valuable. People buy and sell in ‘parts of’ a coin, e.g. 0.1 bitcoin is about $250 at the moment.
Main advantages of using them are...
Can send money day or night to anyone, anywhere in the world without delay
Eliminates bank charges, currency exchange fees & fluctuations
Privacy, because you just do it through your cell phone or PC.
TIMESAVER GUIDE TO GETTING CRYPTOCURRENCIES
(1) ID EVIDENCE YOU WILL NEED
The websites you join are strict about security. They are likely to ask you to send them the following items of ID:
A clear **head-and-shoulders photo **of you facing the camera without smile, just like a passport photo.
A clear photo of your passport OR driver licence with your photo in it.
A clear photo of you holding one of those next to your face so the likeness can be confirmed.
To prove **place of residence, a photo of a power bill or bank statement **showing your name and address.
At completion of paying (by over-the-counter OR online banking payment), a photo or screen capture of the receipt.
To get a photo of the smartphone screen, hold down the Power button and click the Home button, then 'share' it by email or message to the vendor.)
GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR
This is a small app you install in your cell phone and also your PC. Very easy to install, simple to use.
It adds very good security to your logins and payments. That is, before being allowed entry into a website, the website will ask you for your Google Authenticator number being displayed in the cell phone app (which refreshes to a new number every minute).
You take a peek, note the (6-digit) number, give it to the website, and you then are allowed in.
The same process is used when you transfer money - it asks for your authenticator number. You provide it, the money is released.
Basically it means crooks would have to not only steal your userid and password, but they would have to guess the authenticator number appearing on your cell phone this minute.
(2) WHERE TO VIEW CURRENT PRICES (& GRAPHS OF TRENDS)
BITCOIN https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/bitcoin/nzdMost famous electronic currency used throughout the world by millions of users.
ETHEREUM https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ethereum/nzd Has a vital programming language that enables people to create global apps that provide services, e.g. rent out a car, register a licence.
TALK WITH OTHERS Join the Facebook group That Cryptokorero  and you can confer with others, e.g. bitcoin mining (creating bitcoins using computers), best wallets to store your cryptos in.If you are a senior policy maker in a bank headquarters, or a director of a law firm, or a blockchain developer, or government MP, you can apply to join the group Facebook page of CryptoNZ, It is also exploring blockchain implications, creating new apps, law, etc. Closed to general public, sorry.
(3) BUYING BITCOIN (OFTEN NEEDED TO BUY OTHER CURRENCIES)
Shop around.
Exchanges have 'escrow' protection (the transaction is locked safely until both parties click ‘Go’, so there can be no failure to pay or to deliver the cryptocurrency).
Best bitcoin prices I know (Oct 2017) at https://kiwi-coin.com/  Peek at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz to compare.
Maybe Localbitcoins https://localbitcoins.com where you deal directly with individual or corporate vendors in a nice forum situation. But I’ve seen their bitcoin prices all being hundreds dearer than Cryptopia https://www.bitprime.co.nz/  You can pay by online banking. NZ owned company.
You can cautiously start with just ten dollars if you want, and if you like, expand from there. Ideally, PRACTICE a few purchases so you don’t bumble round confused when you need to invest fast after hearing big news that skyrockets the prices.
(4) BUYING ETHEREUM OR OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES
I found that Poloniex https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_eth is a good 'stock market' for depositing and converting currencies, e.g. bitcoin to ethereum or litecoin or dozens of other options.
It is a beautiful, easy-to understand, website, with a huge torrent of transactions taking place all the time, which suggests the margin between buy price and sell price is likely to be very small.
Maybe Google for Cryptopia, and for Bittrex too, ‘similar to Poloniex.
I don’t change often. I’m not a ‘trader’ constantly trying to beat others by buying low, selling high. I just ‘invest’, and unless something serious happens, I stay loyal to the evident usefulness of the cryptocurrency.
(5) MOVE YOUR CURRENCY TO A “WALLET” FOR SAFETYThose exchanges aren’t as safe as proper ‘wallets’ because those exchanges are ‘big targets’ full of money for hackers.
I’ve spread mine round several wallets. There’s lots available. Browse.
I love my Exodus wallet. (Beautiful, easy to use).
Click here to view their excellent 2 min. video
Coinomi seems safe, good.
For bitcoin I like GreenAddress
Also the extra-safe Trezor or Ledger Nano (which require a $100 special USB chip for logging on) for bitcoin.
MORE EXPLANATION OF BITCOIN, THE BLOCKCHAIN, ETHEREUM
OVERVIEW
Partly from... http://blockgeeks.com/guides/what-is-blockchain-technology/
The major benefit of the internet is that it is...
Borderless, trans-national
'Open', global, borderless and accessible to all
Allowing anyone to innovate 'without permission required' (communicate, create things, publish, see, earn, buy)
Securely recording things as a witness, in public
Highly resistant to censorship
Fundamentally 'neutral' to the participants, rather than judging and controlling what you are allowed to do.
The blockchain, and bitcoin and ethereum and dash take these benefits even further, into...
Ultra-convenient money currency payments without need for delays and fees of banks, accountants, lawyers.
The enjoyed privacy and convenience of dealing directly and immediately with the other party.
Other, non-money ultra-secure direct contracts between people without need to go through 'official' authorities.
Ultra-sure logging and registering things like building ownerships, equipment status, etc..
THE BLOCKCHAIN
Humans invented money so we wouldn't have to barter things, that is, trade one physical thing to get the one we wanted.
Money was very convenient, and has been a huge liberating success, despite all the thefts, deception, and interfering centralized control of it by banks, governments, politicians etc. This is especially vital in developing countries where poverty generates desperation that causes commonplace dishonesty and corruption.
A block chain is a new way of more freely exchanging money and things of value.
A 'block' is a record of a transaction, which can include the amount and the parties involved, the terms of the agreement, etc.
A 'blockchain' is a database that faithfully logs a procession of transactions.
Rather than being stored in one place, or being controlled by centralized 'authorities', a blockchain is automated and safely stored in thousands of independent nodes on the internet. It that it cannot be destroyed or distorted by anyone regardless of what happens to a node. There is also extremely secure encryption that prevents any meddling with the system.
It is therefore extremely trustworthy to use. It can be fairly called a 'public' record because it is distributed so widely rather than in a centralized way that's vulnerable to loss or deception.
A 'transaction' does not have to be money - it may be any 'deal' or contract by anyone about anything at any time, to safely and permanently register the details so there can be no alteration of them.
A major advantage of using a blockchain is that you can do transactions with any other user of it without any intermediaries like banks or lawyers, to enjoy an even more 'authoritative' proof of the transaction, without their fees, and without their fees, delays, personal or corporate prejudices, political interference. See Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockchain
BITCOIN
Bitcoin is an electronic kind of money for transactions directly between interenet users, almost instantly. there's no 'costly bureaucratic intermediary' such as a bank or credit card company, it's directly between you and any other person.
Each bitcoin is valuable because it a very special, unique number. Rarer, and (since 2017), has been more expensive than an ounce of gold.
It has been created by making computers do computations for hundreds of hours to generate it. That's called 'mining' for bitcoins.
There is a limit of 21 million bitcoins possible mathematically. After that, we just divide bitcoins. In 2016, for example about 70% of bitcoins had been discovered and were in circulation, and there was a new bitcoin discovered about every ten minutes (but steadily slowing as they got harder to find).
You can read billionaire Peter Diamandis (inventor of PayPal, co-founder of Singularity University) praising it at http://tinyurl.com/orzuuc5
You can read about him at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Diamandis
There's an excellent 37 minute video explaining blockchain and bitcoin at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxFI02XFwio#t=5.908389 See WIkipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin
ETHEREUM
Also 'living in the blockchain' with bitcoin, is another currency called 'ethereum'.
It is the currency used for paying to create or use new apps that the entire internet community can use.
These apps are called 'distributed autonomous organizations' because they automate and replace ordinary services like tax accountants and lawyers and car valuation consultants.
For example, you could pay programmers in ethereum to produce an app that did automated tax returns for you, or answered legal questions about buying a house, or whether to replace yoru car. You could and charge users in ethereum.
Excellent 3 min explanation video https://youtu.be/TDGq4aeevgY?t=18
See Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethereum
racking cryptocurrency prices, market capital, volume, etc.
Here’s some good tracker sites to put in a browser bookmarks folder... http://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/ https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/#/btc
DEEPER, VERY VALUABLE BRIEFING
Part of my confidence is from deeper knowledge of the global trend of digitization that brings exponential change.
If interested, brief yourself fast on the 'Singularity' phenomenon by downloading the video DVD 'The Singularity is Near' which costs about US$20 from here
WARNING: Some of the content may hit you like a hammer. It’s a 2 hour, fascinating, enjoyable video, but the technology is jaw dropping, with heavy implications for all of us. Show it to friends, discuss, cope together, win together. Good to be prepared.
Being aware of this stuff earned me thousands within 10 months because I knew what was going on from Diamandis' blog about bitcoin. I was awake to what was happening, and acted FAST. See newspaper article- may still be viewable here.
Also, watch videos by Peter Diamandis and Kurzweil on YouTube, and subscribe to Peter's 'Abundance Insider' blog http://diamandis.com/abundance-insider Don’t mind the joyous emotional rah-rah, he’s a billionaire, the content is true and important. It’s great fun, very positive and cheering.
Don’t forget to join ‘That Cryptokorero’ on Facebook.

Unbeelieveable: Stung By Lawsuit, Trump Administration Lists Bumble Bee As Endangered
WASHINGTON The rusty patched bumble bee, one of Americas most important pollinators, has finally landed on the endangered species list.
It becomesthe first bumble bee and the first of any bee species in the contiguous United States to receive federal protections.
The Trump administration reversed course and listed the rusty patched bumble bee as an endangered species just in the nick of time, Rebecca Riley, senior attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council, said in a statement Tuesday. Federal protections may be the only thing standing between the bumble bee and extinction.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Januarylistedthe bee as endangered, citing population declines caused by the loss of habitat, disease, pesticide use and climate change. But before the protections took effect, the listing was frozenuntil March 21 as part of a sweeping executive order by President Donald Trump that imposed a 60-day waiting period on new regulations.
The NRDC responded by suing the Trump administration, arguing that it failed to give proper public notice of the delay, or safeguard a species currently facing an imminent risk of extinction.
Interior Department spokeswoman Heather Swift said in an email Tuesday that the Fish and Wildlife Service delayed the effective date of the endangered species listing to allow for standard review. She said government scientists have noted that the brief delay is not expected to have an impact on the conservation of the species, since the Fish and Wildlife Service is still developing a plan to restore the bees to what they believe is a healthy and secure condition.
We will work with stakeholders to ensure collaborative conservation among landowners, farmers, industry, and developers in the areas where the species is native, Swift said.
Rusty patched bumble bees were once found in abundant numbers across 28 states, in the Northeast and upper Midwest, along with two Canadian provinces. But the population has experienced a swift and dramatic decline since the late 1990s, according to the Fish and Wildlife Service. Today, the bees, which pollinate important crops like tomatoes, cranberries and peppers, are likely to be present in scattered locations covering only 0.1 percent of the species historical range.
The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, which filed a petition calling for the species endangered listing, said Tuesday was an historic day.
We are thrilled to see one of North Americas most endangered species receive the protection it needs, Sarina Jepsen, director of endangered species at the Xerces, said in a statement. Now that the Fish and Wildlife Service has listed the rusty patched bumble bee as endangered, it stands a chance of surviving the many threats it faces from the use of neonicotinoid pesticides to diseases.
Federal officials estimate that bees and other pollinators in the U.S. provide around$3 billion in economic value per year.

March
March Madness
Facebook: in the news and in trouble. Back in 2014 the analytics firm 'Cambridge Analytica' (CA) created a personality questionnaire 'thisisyourdigitallife' that accessed data from 270,000 participants. At the time Facebook's rules allowed apps to collect information from the friends of those who participated (even if they did not take the quiz themselves) - and thus CA mined around 50m people. The story broke when footage emerged of the CEO, Alexander Nix, bragging about winning the 2017 presidential election for Trump having used this data to deploy highly targeted attack ads. Social media in politics is not new: Barrack Obama's 'Obama for America App' also utilised Facebook data in 2012, yet the key difference, say Politifact, is that the relationship between participant and campaign was defined, whereas 'thisisyourdigitallife' claimed all collection was for academic use - and therein lies the rule breach. This is the latest in a string of PR nightmares that saw Facebook's stock plummet by $58bn, as myriad companies halted ad spend. After a period of silence - which even Sheryl Sandberg conceded was too long - Zuckerberg met with CNN; took out print adverts; and agreed to face Congress (but not UK MPs). '#deletefacebook' began trending with many taking-up arms, including the co-founder of 'WhatsApp', a Facebook subsidiary. But the scandal kept coming. This time from a senior leader whose memo statedthat the death of users should not come in the way of the company's mission! Expect a root-and-branch review of data usage (which looks bad); and potentially a subscription model to lessen the reliance on ad spend. Tech talk Activist groups are springing-up against the "Hunger Games style" fight for HQ2, as they feel cities are being strong-armed by Amazon. Next, the behemoth is considering offering checking accounts, a move that could save millions in banking fees. Twitter will broadcast MLS soccer over the next three years; Facebook Watch meanwhile will show midweek afternoon MLB games.Uber suspended their self-driving car program after a vehicle tragically killed a pedestrian. Google is banning all cryptocurrency ads. Snapchat stock was knocked (again) after they upset Rhianna with a bizarre 'would you rather' style questionnaire and she hit back. Chance The Rapper suspects that companies like Snap - and Heineken specifically - are making controversial ads precisely to obtain greater reach.  Small But Important
McDonald's stole the limelight on International Women's Day with their upside-down logo. Google meanwhile listed women-led businesses on Maps. Here are some other notable efforts.
Deloitte research shows that the fringes of retail are actually performing well (Old Navy to Coach) but mid-tier brands are being squeezed by a shrinking middle class.
Nike's brand President Trevor Edwards resigned following reports of behaviour that does "not reflect ... core values".
Interesting debate on AI in fashion: some defend the role of humans to create style, whereas others believe AI can predict sell-through propensity.
Voice shopping is expected to reach $40bn by 2022 in the US alone!
Evocative piece that argues putting a rainbow flag on your logo in June is not good enough to attract the LBGT community. Also, the first genderless store 'The Phluid Project' opened in New York.
Here were the key themes from SXSW. Notable amongst them was human loneliness and women's rights.
Best Buy's 'Geek Squad' technicians have been serving as FBI informants, reporting computers that they suspect of having child pornography. Controversy surrounds whether or not they are stumbling across images (legal) or actively seeking them (not).
Dating app 'Bumble' has banned images of guns on their app. L.L. Bean restricted gun sales for under-21s. And asset manager 'BlackRock' has introduced funds that avoid investments in civilian arms manufacturers.
First 'meatless meat', now lab-grown leather (which joins the list of alternative textiles).
The environmental impact of fashion continues to startle: it is now the second highest consumer of water globally. In response, Gap set itself a goal to save 10bn litres by 2020. adidas aims to use plastic solely from oceans by 2024. L'Oreal US has targeted carbon neutrality by 2019.
Walmart has pledged to cut 50m metric tonnes of carbon emissions from China by 2030. Next, having failed to win over New Yorkers, they are upping the ante with same-day grocery deliveries (via Jet.com); they will deliver to 100 cities by year-end.
The evolution of physical retail as a destination continues: Walmart are adding 500 FedEx shop-in-shops to reduce last mile delivery costs and drive footfall. Barney's is tapping the Wellness movement with 'Conscious Beauty' products and events in-store. JC Penny are hiring 6,500 hair stylists across the country.
Madewell will feature in in John Lewis (the UK's Nordstrom). JD Sports, a British retailer with a checkered history of employee rights, has bought The Finish Line.
In a blow for nostalgia Claire's Accessories and Toys 'R' Us have filed for bankruptcy, in the case of the latter, this is why.
Insightful first-hand article about the difficulties of fashion for those with disabilities.
The US State Department may soon ask anyone applying for a non-immigrant visa to offer-up their social media handles from the past 5 years.
And finally! Fragrance brands are known for their in-magazine scented strips however Old Spice inserted a ready-to-wear paper blazer in their GQ ad! "Everyone gets to live the luxurious life of Old Spice Captain. Smell the smells, live the life, don’t go out in the rain." Sea salty.

I'm pretty sure I can't deal with waiting until August for Wheeljack, he looks SO GOOD. He even has a nice, tidy back, unlike the MP Lambor and Prowl molds do (not that they're  bad, they just kind of have hollowness that leaves me a bit iffy is all). I am so hype for him, my favorite Autobot is either him or Grimlock and for Wheeljack's MP to be SO. GOOD. It's just. So nice.
Bumble(bee) looks fantastic too, though I am not nearly as stoked because I was never a huge Bumblebee fan.
Not sure if these got posted anywhere yet or not but it is the first I saw of them, so.
