au where I mix up all of the Ninja's powers and backstories into a slushie mess and see what happens.

So far I have:

Wu gets bitten by the Great Devourer and becomes super manipulative and toxic, as he tries to make Ninjago perfect, neat, and orderly with the Golden weapons. (Think lord business from the lego movie) Too bad he refuses to use his Oni side to obtain four arms to use them together.

Garmadon still trains under Chen and practices the Dark arts, but understands the balance of good and evil, and is filled with guilt over the fact that Wu got bitten when it should have been him. Wu, who doesn't like that Garmadon leans into "evil" practices and banishes him to the underworld.

The Green Ninja is Morro, who is biologically Wu’s son. (yeah, you thought canon morro was bad, this morro is so much worse since he's literally the weapon in making Ninjago in Wu's image) His personality is pretty much the same as canon (perfectionist, obsessive, crazy) it's just that he is in fact the Green Ninja and Wu enables him a lot.

Before everyone figures out that Morro is the Green Ninja, they think it might be Kai, who is the brother of Maya and has the power of Wind. He's Morro's replacement in this au, in the sense that he is also desperate to become the Green Ninja by whatever means necessary, and Wu pits Morro and Kai in a rivalry to see who becomes the Green Ninja. And Morro, who cannot fail his father, becomes violent and kills Kai. Kai isn't great in this au either and ends up in the cursed realm and later becomes a ghost.

Misako sees how problematic Wu is and after Garmadon gets banished, she runs away with baby Lloyd and tries to take Morro too, but Wu freaks out and thinks she tried to kidnap Morro so that she could use the Green Ninja's power for her own gain and he kills her to "save Morro," and thinks he kills Lloyd too.

Lloyd's actually fine, and just grows up at Darkley's until he gets adopted by the Royal Family, much to his dismay, and becomes the Quiet One who is willing to punch a dude to get his dad back. Because he doesn't have his powers, he relies a lot on his dragon and Oni heritage.

Nya is the only child of Ray and Maya, and when they disappear, Chen finds and adopts her, and she becomes the sister of Skylor. Despite having the element of fire, she relies heavily on mechs, and loves to invent, letting her sister use her powers while she designs Chen’s button chair.

Pixal is Ninja of Ice and still was created by Cyrus Borg, so Zane is still in the Birchwood Forest, forgotten and stuck there until Lloyd finds him and offers him a place in the cult group he’s starting.

Cole's dad dies, and while he tries to honor his dad's dancing legacy, he still inherits his powers and is forced to become a ninja. He's still a popular entertainer and pretty well known in Ninjago as such, and he really doesn't want to be a Ninja full-time and is only doing it because he's scared of what Wu will do to his loved ones. I do not know what power he should get and I am open to ideas.

Jay was raised as Cliff Gordon's son and so he's wealthy but he is also extremely talented in robotics. He and Cyrus Borg collaborate a lot and is best friends with Pixal. He does not have powers and tries to help Cole get out of the team. Honestly, I have no idea about Jay either.

Harumi releases the Serpentine after her parent sends her to a boarding school and forget about her. She does not want to be forgotten, and in a rage over it, discovers she can control Lightning.

Morro finds her and takes her in, reassuring her that there is a place for her on his team.

The team consists of Morro, Ash, Cole, Pixal, and now Harumi, all trained under Wu.

And then Lord Garmadon crawls out of the Underworld, eyes glowing purple and with four arms, demanding to see his son, and everyone starts to panic because they are pretty sure Lloyd is dead.

Ok just finished dr season three. Spoiler warning for below the cutoff

I think this season was ok. Like there were somethings I liked and some I didn’t.

I am so happy pixal is back and her and Zane were so cute. Literally thought Zane was trying to propose when he asked to travel with her. Love the new purple added to her suit it calls back to her original design and I feel it fits her more than the blue. Also I am really curious if Zane is just stuck in the big form now? Like that seems really inconvenient.

I’m still ify on the whole Jay lost his memories thing. It’s not as bad as I thought it be but I still need to see him interact with the others more to get my opinion. His hair is so ugly tho. I hate it genuinely I was joking before but it just doesn’t fit him at all.

Arin was handled really well I think. Him second thinking everything was great but I was genuinely surprised that he still went with ras and even more surprised that sora went too. It was a sweet gesture but now I’m worried about how they will have to fight the ninja. Jay claims arins parents are still alive and they cut him off before he could say where he sent them but I’m not a 100% convinced that they are alive or dead.

Morro was a neat inclusion but I feel he was just there to set up for s3 part 2. Due to him getting consumed by thunderfang. I guess we are going to the dead realm and exploring it more. I really hope morro gets to interact with the ninja more (mainly Lloyd for angst and Kai because I want to put those two in a jar and violently shake them).

One thing I didn’t like at all was Kai’s characterization this season. While the thing with the arcade cabinet was sweet (also how did Jay remote play on that it was never explained????) I feel like most of the rest of his lines that weren’t exposition ones were “hey look at Kai isn’t he a dumbass hahahahha” type of lines. And when yes that’s a part of his character it just feels like any of the maturity or other big brother like stuff he does was thrown out in favor of making him look stupid. It frustrates me so much because they were doing so good with his characterization and now they do this??? Like it might just be me that noticed this and it might not be a big deal but it really bothers me.

I also felt like the forbidden five were kinda just thrown away in the end. So much for being big bad enemies. And I feel so bad for the draconians like they were just minding there business (also either sora or nya I can’t remember who made one of there skeletons jelly and that looked horrible I felt so bad for him). Kur is a girl yippie.

Over all it’s a decent season but nothing mind blowing. I am excited for part two tho.

There are SO many parallels between Morro and Harumi, it’s crazy

For example, both of them are given some false belief by a figure they looked up to and trusted. Morro thought he would be the green ninja. Harumi thought the safety of her and her family was ensured by the ninja.

Then, when that belief is broken, they feel deeply betrayed and in denial by that.

At that point, they cling to some new figure as a potential replacement and new source of hope for them. Morro with The Preeminent and Harumi with Garmadon.

They spend years stewing in their hate, anger, betrayal and want for vengeance, making a play to enact said revenge.

They both target Lloyd, both of the feeling particularly like it was his fault in some way. If lloyd wasn’t the green ninja then Morro certainly would’ve been. And if Lloyd had done a better job protecting the city then certainly Harumi’s parents would’ve never died. That’s their thought process at least.

And in hurting Lloyd, they hurt the entire group. This builds up and eventually they both bring to Ninjago the figures that we’re looking up to during their time of hatred and contemplation. The Preeminent and Garmadon.

Then, as a final act they both preform some self-sacrificial deed in which they die. It wasn’t redemption, but rather showing the potential for redemption and that fact that they could very much become better people if they had the chance.

Now at this point, both Harumi and Morro have came back into the story, but that’s not really where the similarities end.

Looking at the seasons, the plot, the set up, the characters, etc, there’s plenty more things alike.

For example, both of them have some form of flashback scene showing them as kids and displaying the events that happened that made them like this.

Next, they create a group of people to assist them in some way or another. Harumi builds the Sons Of Garmadon and Morro gathers a group of other ghosts and Ronin to do his bidding.

Both stories have someone acting as a spy/traitor to the ninja. Morro using Ronin to mislead the group while Harumi acts as a literal spy herself, gaining the trust of the group to alleviate suspicion on herself.

Another example is the emphasis of green, Morro especially but Harumi is also literally referred to as the Jade Princess.

They also are using artifacts to get their way. The various armors/weapons Morro uses and then Harumi and the Oni masks.

There’s a lot more, but these are the strongest consistencies besides what I had mentioned beforehand.

As for differences, I feel that those primarily lay more with the setting, abilities, and actual events that happened. But for the most part there’s a lot of overlap

I think it’s neat though and I like comparing them

I read Spinjitzu Brothers

(Remember kids before we start this is all for shits and giggles so lets be nice okay? Great! You may continue!)

So who was gonna tell me Spinjitzu Brothers was gonna mess with me or were yall just gonna let me get dragged through the dirt with ZERO warning!

So I kinda sorta binged all the books in a singular night and... damn the FSM is an ASSHOLE! Like idk, if this is controversial but like genuinely he just seems like a not-very-great dude, like Wu is constantly thinking of how he'll get his father's approval and Garmadon is literally spiraling into a depression fueled by a fear of loneliness and turning evil.

Honestly, I find the whole concept of Spinjitzu Brothers because it's a KIDS BOOK where are heroes ultimately fail. They're supposed to be Ninjago cannon accurate and well we KNOW what happens to Garmadon, we know ultimately he ends up giving in to the Great Devourer somewhere down the line. We know the tea doesn't work and that their trip is pointless, all this trauma and effort is really just for nothing.

I find stories like that fascinating, usually stories like this are very centered around destiny and how it's set in stone. Honestly I think Ninjago does use destiny a bit (I mean their ship is called the Destinies Bounty which is kinda funny) like how even thogh Garmadon and Wu are going on the quest it's ultimitly meaningless because Garmadon does in fact sucumb to his fate, he turns evil, fights his son, becomes good only to be broght back to life fully evil. But what I find so interesting is the fact he STILL is trying to be good, destiny is beating him over the head repeatedly trying to morph him into what it wants and he's still pushing it away which I think is neat.

Also I find it interesting how Wu and Morro kinda sorta parallel the FSM and Nineko, aka taking in a kid and training them but ultimately leaving them bitter and angry. Honestly Wu and Garmadon's parenting makes so much more sense after Spinjitzu Brothers, like their father sucked, so they tried to do better but didn't fully grasp HOW so they messed up and sort of stumbled through parenting.

Anyways I'll probably have more thoughts coming soon-ish? Until then, eat, drink water, sleep and PEACE OUT!

(HEAR ME OUT) i want to write a llorumi au fic but i have so many wips so i will write them out as headcanons as of now

this is a highschool au - mostly similar to the movieverse, but everyone is powerless, there's no ninja, and garmadon is incarcerated in jail. lloyd montgomery and harumi jade are enemies (to friends) to lovers, and they're forbidden lovers because of status quos

main notes:

harumi does not have the traits of being a princess in the canon (kindhearted, sweet) because that was a mask that she wore; that was not her. in this au, harumi is sarcastic, bold, risky, and wants to let go of her bitter past. no, she is not vengeful nor is she manipulative, but she is one of the four founders of the bikers

lloyd's personality is a mix of the show (mellow, sassy) and the movie (quiet, compassionate). yes, he's a nerd - he's part of the dungeons & dragons club and loves starfarer

the bikers are a semi-large group of delinquents who like to ride bikes and motorcycles and are like a found family for each other, mainly consisting of high school teenagers and young adults. the bikers are commonly rumored to be a gang of thieves, but within the bikers, their only real motive is simply to be a shoulder to lean on for each other in the group. the founders include harumi, killow, violet (UV), and echo (mr. e), and they usually occupy laughy's karaoke bar on friday nights

the dungeons & dragons club is run by mr. wu, lloyd's uncle, and they meet once every wednesday. the club consists of lloyd montgomery, kai and nya smith-jiang, jay walker, cole brookstone, zane julien, and morro wu. their current campaign is a story about a team of ninja trying to fight off a ghost who's taken the green ninja, lloyd, captive and under control

more information under cut!

plot (so far):

harumi is one of the “popular students you’d want to avoid + rumored to do illegal activities with a gang” kind of people

lloyd is known to be part of the d&d club at school and being friends with the ninja (due to being part of the d&d club), and regularly hangs out with the ninja (minus morro) at school

harumi and lloyd know each other by name and surface level information (harumi heavily rumored to be part of a gang + doing illegal activities, lloyd being your local d&d and starfarer nerd). they’re in opposing groups at school which lowers chances of interaction by an extreme

that is until lloyd and harumi get stuck in detention after school

after they leave school at a later hour, lloyd and harumi get stuck in a sticky situation (that i haven’t figured out what it’d be yet) and they have to depend on each other to get them both out. tooon of banter and insults, sarcasm and sassy quips

eventually they find the bus station and they sit on opposite aisles, ignoring the other because “he’s so annoying” and “she’s extremely reckless”. but then lloyd eventually caves in and thanks harumi for helping them out. harumi doesn’t say thanks back for his help

after that incident (which surprisingly no one knows about), they start noticing each other more often outside of the surface level information they have of each other. sometimes in hallways, they make accidental brief eye contact, but they don't do anything else to acknowledge each other. lloyd’s okay with not having to talk to her at all

one week after the incident, there’s a note left on his desk in neat (though unfamiliar) handwriting that’s telling him to meet at the docks at 4pm after school today. nya leans over his desk to read the note, and lloyd has a gut feeling that he knows who the note's from. nya tails him to the docks

lloyd finds harumi in a secluded area away from the crowded areas in the shadows of one of the warehouses. harumi tosses him a keychain of one of the characters from starfarer. lloyd never knows if she ever stole that keychain or not, but he finally agrees to take it as a thank you note from harumi

the next day, his backpack is seen with the starfarer character keychain dangling from one of the zippers

hanging out / eventual dates:

at some point, harumi drags lloyd along to a party and encourages him to relax and do some illegal activities with her (underage drinking, sneaking in/out), which lloyd reluctantly agrees to

but surprisingly he finds excitement in sneaking out and meeting harumi after curfew

(note: harumi has never personally introduced lloyd to the bikers)

lloyd or harumi at one point gets their drink spiked. i think one being delirious from the spiked drink is what makes the other realize that they have a crush on them

they start doing legal activities after that

i imagine at one point lloyd and harumi go hiking and lloyd experiences some sort of near-death situation and harumi saves him from death

harumi takes lloyd bike riding (she also teaches him some cool tricks) and lloyd introduces harumi to a bit of martial arts (he teaches her how to use a sword)

when harumi admits she’s never had a cake before (or really any kind of sweet food), lloyd is determined to get her to try sweet foods

lloyd takes her to a popular bakery and he makes her try some of their sweets, and he also helps her order bubble tea for the first time. harumi finds a new liking to red velvet macarons and lychee milk tea, and she learns that lloyd loves lollipops and jasmine milk tea

by the time they start regularly ordering bubble tea, they know each others’ go-to orders by heart (including desired toppings, exact sugar and ice level)

the employees there know it, too

childhood talking:

i imagine at some point later on in their friendship they talk about their home lives and their parents

harumi was adopted since her biological parents died in a building collapse when she was 10 years old

her adoptive parents have (very) high expectations for her, but she’s been struggling with school lately so her adoptive parents have her grounded until she can get her grades up

lloyd’s father has been incarcerated in kryptarium prison since he was 8 years old

lloyd wants to hate his dad, but he misses him, and he hates that he misses him

so it ends up becoming a vent-dumping session but they bond over their somewhat shared childhood experiences and they laugh a little about how opposing their lives were and are

jealousy:

lloyd is jealous of harumi because of how bold she is. sure, she breaks the law for fun, but there's something about harumi's determination to help those who need help that lloyd appreciates. she's everything that he wants to be: confident and bold, and a lot less self-conscious

harumi is jealous of lloyd because of how he wants to see the good in everyone. there's something endearing about the way lloyd rambles about his d&d party and the latest edition of starfarer that harumi enjoys. there's traits that she wants to have from him, too: kind and wanting to see the good in people, and she wants to let go of her bitter past

when the ninja and koko find out who lloyd’s been hanging out with:

their suspicion about harumi is collective

i imagine kai specifically tails him sometimes just to be sure harumi doesn’t make any weird moves on lloyd

the ninja ask lloyd why he’s been hanging out with a delinquent to which lloyd argues that she’s not a delinquent, but their words about harumi stick with lloyd

but overall they mainly miss lloyd because he’s been abandoning d&d sessions to hang out with harumi

at some point, probably a little over 6 months since becoming friends with harumi, koko grounds lloyd for sneaking out, which eventually causes lloyd to tell the truth about harumi

the excuse he uses to his friends and family when it comes to hanging out with harumi is that “i want to just be her friend outside of criminal activity” but to himself he’s like “i can fix her.”

koko wants to be supportive of lloyd, but she doesn’t want lloyd to make the same mistake of falling in love with a criminal. koko forbids lloyd from seeing harumi again

this is also when lloyd realizes he’s falling in love with harumi and he berates himself for falling in love with someone who has a bad reputation. “this is literally the worst person you could ever fall in love with what is wrong with you you need to stop being friends with her” that kind of thing

but also she’s like a drug to him. like he wants to be around her and he wants to learn more about her, he loves hanging out with her. like there’s nothing holdin' me back by shawn mendes energy do u get what i mean

when the bikers finds out who harumi’s been hanging out with:

the bikers would be pretty surprised that harumi has been hanging out with someone who’s pretty adamant against breaking the law of all people, but as long as harumi's happy, they’re happy too

they definitely question harumi if she likes him, and she denies any romantic feelings towards lloyd (she has been denying any romantic feelings towards lloyd for months by now)

at laughy's, harumi distances herself from the bikers, looking out the window as she tries to sort her thoughts out. ultra violet notices her strange behavior and they talk for a bit

killow and mr. e reassure that all the bikers care about harumi, and if she wants to focus more on dating, they'll support her

mr. e at one point realizes that the guy harumi has a crush on is e's boyfriend's younger cousin and they take a moment to process this information (yes i'm being self-indulgent and adding citrusshipping / morro x echo)

harumi comes to terms that she does have romantic feelings for lloyd, but she's afraid that if she tells him, he'll want to leave because it'll be so awkward and they're already good friends and she doesn't want to ruin that friendship by admitting her feelings for him

lloyd notes + headcanons:

when garmadon was still around as his father in his life, their family was rich. like they live in a mansion rich

garmadon was a good person and a great dad and husband

shortly after garmadon got arrested and was sent to a number of years in prison, lloyd and koko moved to ninjago city to start a new life away from their first home

lloyd also stole stuff as a kid, specifically starfarer comics. he was also the kid that harumi saw who stole that pack of oreos (he was 8 years old at the time)

however, when lloyd was caught stealing the newest edition of starfarer, he was given a talking to by mother doomsday and lloyd agreed not to steal anymore

koko helped lloyd bleach his hair. his birth hair color is brunet, like garmadon’s

lloyd's favorite candy is lollipops

lloyd is a cat person and has a weird obsession with mythical creatures like dragons and oni

lloyd’s style of clothing is fairly casual and green oriented, and he always always wears converse sneakers

lloyd is part japanese and chinese

the king of sass

harumi notes + headcanons:

when harumi’s biological parents were still alive, they were pretty tight on money, but they were happy

she is a rebel with little/no cause, and she’s been a bit of a rebel all her life

i imagine the rebelling started when her bio parents were still alive. at the prime age of 8 years old, harumi witnessed some kid stealing a pack of oreos at the grocery store without getting caught and she was like “i wanna do that!” so she started stealing little things like keychains or small toys from popular stores or even graphic tees

when her bio parents found out she was forced to return them and she apologized, but she gained the habit again after her bio parents died

harumi's clothing style is a mix of punk/emo and a whole lotta purple

she also really likes keychains and pins, but she hates wearing hats

she bleached her own hair out of spite of her adoptive parents

she's a cat person and has a weird obsession with spiders. she finds comfort in the lullaby "spider in the house"

she is japanese

the queen of sarcasm

i think harumi and lloyd’s personalities would clash really well together and, given the right circumstances, a love story between them could work out :D

anyways would anyone be interested in a story like this hehehe

Sorry for being sudo inactive!! I’ve been on a trip, where I got to see Sweeney Todd on Broadway!! Genuinely such a good show. If I went on about how amazing it was, we’d be here all day

But on the note of me being gone for a bit, ya boi has been crafting! Along with some more ramblings as usual-

The chapter one outline of the Alley Cat AU has been completed! Now it’s on to drawing some panels out and finalizing the draft! Of course I will probably post more concept work before then, as some details still need to be worked out. But we are making headway!

I’m going to also work on making a masterpost here soon, so that way everything is in one neat spot. But the story will be hosted here! Here’s some more smaller concept work to tide you guys over until the next post! I obviously want to finish a couple chapters but I’ve also started work on a chapter explaining how Morro met his cat! Originally the cat was unnamed but I think Wisp works well for them, I will try to finish the reference sheets for all of the characters before I post any chapters.

I’m also going to finish up my work on chapter one, before posting any of it. So that way the wait between isn’t as awful (fun fact that’s been my New Year’s resolution- to try and post more-) but please be patient with me, I’ve never really worked on a project this big before and I am a full time college student with a job. So I will do my best!

I want to let you guys know as well, the ninja and their dynamic with Lloyd will stay pretty similar to that of the show. With them obviously being suspicious of Lloyd and his “cat”, but because they find him and Lloyd doesn’t try to do anything regarding the Serpentine (because Morro shook some sense into him-) there’s no residual “you unleashed the snakes on us-“ vibes. Instead right off the bat Kai takes one look at Lloyd and says “You are now my little brother. You cannot deny this.”, adding more fluff.

That also means we have to find another person who unleashes the serpentine. Because plot reasons and all that jazz, I’m working on it but I think it would be funny if Jay did it by accident or one of the other darkly boys did it. I’ll toy with both ideas and some other ones before I settle on it, I have time. I hope.

I’ve got some other things I’m cooking up, some Ninjago related, others pertaining to other fandoms I’m in.

Aside from that, I also have a Redbubble! There’s some stuff in there I’m reworking, so a minder and apology for that, but I’m going to try to get some more Ninjago works posted up there. Along with some original works! Here’s the link if you’d like to check it out!

Hey so can we acknowledged that Morro’s perspective on Wu was that he didn’t care about Morro anymore because Morro wasn’t the green ninja but Wu just had trauma and everyone he loved were either also emotionally horrible or hated Wu, and that the same probably happened with Garmadon and the Fsm, and now we’re literally watching it happen in real time with Lloyd and Arin.

So many of us are noting how Lloyd is becoming more ‘distant’ or ‘uncaring’ when his character and personality shows how lovingly and caring he actually is, and we are also noting how his current attitude and teaching style is the way it is due to his past trauma as well as how he was taught by others who it was taught to first.

His off hands method? His ‘secret keeping’? Literally everything and anything else? It’s exactly what Wu went through, and it’s what the ninja are also going through.

Idk i just think it’s neat we’re seeing it happen in real time, helping us understand more in the perspective of all characters than just assuming.

A few more Morro and Ninja parallels/contrasts. Do what you wish with them! They're stuck in my brain

- Morro & Nya both being in the green ninja gi for the same fight, taken by one vs. given to the other. Morro desperately wanting to be the green ninja and having to take the gi vs. Nya not even wanting to see if she *could* be the green ninja and having the gi given to her. That's just so neat to me idk

- Morro & Kai both accidentally fucking themselves over by using their respective golden swords too much. Morro got himself trapped in ice spikes in the tomb of the FSM because he just kept on trying to fight back, while Kai set off the Volcano because he couldn't resist using his fire-starting sword despite being warned not to. Both instances also resulted in a final choice between Lloyd and the series macguffin for Kai.

- Morro & Cole and running away from fathers/father figures. Showing back up one day when they need something, and revealing that their time away has made them turn out much differently than expected or wanted.

The Ninjago Battle Box: the best investment of my life

A reveiw

A few days ago I got bored and made a somewhat impulsive decision to buy the ninjago battle box which I've been wanting for a while and it finally arrived today so I'm gonna reveiw it cause I haven't seen like anyone talk about it. It dosent even have its own wiki page even though it is chock full of fun facts and information and pictures

The map:

HOLY SHIT THIS IS COOL. As far as I'm aware this might be the most detailed map of ninjago we've ever gotten and no one is even aware of it! What I think is the most interesting and what makes me question how cannon this is is that the main map of ninjago only covers like... 1/4 of the whole ninjago island? Kinda odd how like all the locations are in this tiny chunk when they have a whole island they could cover but hey its still a super cool map and an amazing piece of art!

The book of battles:

Kind of a weird thing and I couldn't find any information on what it was until I got it. Basically each page is a rough (and not 100% accurate) summary of one of the battles of ninjago, a vague but still pretty obvious clue about where the battle took place, a prompt to play and a neat art piece based on the battle. It's not so much a history book as it is a book of play ideas, your meant to use the clue to find where the battle took place on the map and then use the little battle dojo, the minifigures and the cards to play out the battle however you want. Very cute and I love it. One weird thing I found though: in one of the battles it calls the serpentine the serpentai? It's done 3 times so I don't think it's just a typo. Don't know what's going on there but its cool. Here's an example of the best page, they're all formatted the same

It only has a handful of battles, not nearly all of them, but that's to be expected and it's still great

Ninjago world guide:

It's like a little encyclopedia of heros, villains and artifacts. It includes the main ninja, the elemental masters, all the villains (up to season 15 and strangely excluding the overlord), and a bunch of non people important things like the bounty and the realm crystal. Pretty much nothing I don't already know but still neat! It's kinda cool how it's split into 2 sections, one half being heros and good artifacts and the other being villains and bad artifacts. I don't know how to describe it but theyre kinda facing different ways? It's like 2 books in one, both starting on the outsides and meeting/ending in the middle like so.

The cards:

I wish I could show off all the cars but sadly tumblr has a limit to how many pictures you can have in one post. Cards include heros, villains and artifacts, similar to the world guide but not quite as many things, just the important ones. Theyre pretty simple, with just the name/title and a drawing of the character/item. Theyre meant to be used to play the battles in the book of battles. Morro's is the absolute best one look at this little cutie pie!

Hes so sweet and adorable he has never done anything wrong in his life and I love him

The minifigures and the box itself:

Nothing really special about the minifigs just a basic Lloyd and Garmadon. Interesting to note that despite wearing his season 8 gi Lloyd has his legacy hood on. Not complaining, I hate the smooth round hoods.

The box that everything came in doubles as the little play area :D its a little dojo setting with some cute nicknacks scattered around. It needs a bit of encouragement to stay flat though. Oh also here's the outside of the box

Conclusion:

The best $25 I've ever spent. I can't believe almost no one knows or talks about this! It's from 2023 and covers up until seabound. I might have to see if I can add this stuff to the ninjago wiki, more people should know about it. If anyone else is interested in getting one (you should be) it's on the scholastic website for $17.99 + shipping, not the actual lego website.
