Gang,.,… gang I’m thinking. I’m thinking of making gen 5 semi/full on canon in the Oops ALL Alicorns AU..,,,.,, things tie in together so well I MUST MAKE IT CANON

The idea that twilight took/locked away all magic translated to my au would mean she would need to fistfight the GOD OF MAGIC. HAVE YOU SEEN THEM? SHES GONNA NEED TO AT LEAST CONTROL THE THING.

- The reason the dragons looks so plain and similar is because the lack of gem diet. Gemstones are vital to dragon health, without them they arnt as strong or healthy. The magic makes them change physically aswell so without it they’re all just blank slates waiting for a magical push to start growing spiked tail balls or whatver!!

- The reason why earth ponies have such stronger magic and why unicorns seems to be able to cast any spell is due to the tribes magic l being separated completely equally! As stated before, Pegasi are technically the most magical, so when it was split up the amount of magic was even out. Pegasi now lack the ability to control the weather, that magic potential was split between the other tribes

- the lack of a crystal empire is due to The First Alicorn DESTORYING IT when he surfaced in the fight. The auroricorns town is what is left of the crystal pony tribe and the crystal empire itself

- the reason why Sunny Starscout isn’t a true alicorn is due to there not being enough magic left to fully transform her after Twilight erased everything! Opaline is the last alicorn, the last true alicorn to exist before the magic was erased, so she would’ve had to exist in gen 4. Most likely she was Twilights pupil, Luster Dawn!! Girl got nightmare moonified, she got pony of shadowsified,..,

- the together trees are lesser Trees or Harmony!!! (It is canon that there are multiple, seen in the season 10 comics (which have been said to be canon!!)) Trees of harmony require MASSIVE amounts of magic to become what they are, that’s why theyre crystallized, the crystals are formed from pure magic. But in a situation when there isn’t enough magic to grow, it becomes a together tree. Still magical and special in their own right, connected through harmony and friendship, but not what it could’ve been. In the future there isn’t enough magic available to create trees of harmony, so shits fucked

Equestria has long endured tensions with the umbrum, and though violence has largely been avoided, the situation has become untenable. In a bid for peace, King Eclipse (Gerald Robotnik) proposes something to the ruler of the umbrum, King Comet (Black Doom). They will use magic to create a half-pony half-umbrum child- their own spawn- who will serve as the liaison between their peoples and represent the hope for lasting unity between their kingdoms. King Comet agrees to this, and Prince Midnight Star is born.

The two rulers spend much time together raising their son and improving their kingdoms' relations. King Comet even begins wearing jewelry bearing the symbols of the Equestrian royal family (the eclipse, stars, moons). All seems to be going well, and an era of peace seems to at last have been heralded across the land. But it wasn't to last.

Soon after the true extent of Midnight Star's magical prowess makes itself known, the palace suddenly finds itself under siege from the umbrum army. King Comet wishes to take his son and use him as a weapon to conquer all of the world, all strides towards peace and harmony eschewed in favor of greed and lust for power. In the struggle to protect the prince, many are killed, with the final casualty being Princess Fragile Dawn. Face to face with the king of the umbrum, the young princess refused to back down, standing bodily between father and son and protecting her brother with all her might.

It wasn't enough.

The moment her body fell to the ground, a piercing cry filled the stagnant air, and a burst of magic so strong and bright it was seen across Equestria consumed the entire castle. Once the light faded and the dust settled, each and every umbrum within the palace was dead, including their king. When the guard and King Eclipse entered the throne room, they found the prince laying protectively over his sister's body, his horn shattered, his face wet with tears, and his head resting on her silent chest.

A long time ago, in the far away land of equestria, two siblings ruled the land.

The elder used her magic to raise and lower the sun and moon. The younger one helped move the stars to bring forth the dawn and dusk. They brought peace throughout the land.

But jealousy grew in the heart of the younger thinking that he deserves to be able to raise and lower a Celestial body like his sister. One fateful day he decided that he would not move the stars along the sky to make way for the dawn. The elder tried and tried to reason with him, but it was too late.

The bitterness in the younger's heart had fallen to a curse that turned him into a bird-like beast named the dark moon Phoenix. He vowed to never bring light back to this land for all of eternity. The sister was left with no choice but to gather the most powerful artifacts in the land, the elements of harmony.

Using the magic of the six elements she banished the beast that was her brother into a dying star far far away. The elder took on responsibility for both sun, moon and stars and peace was brought to the land once more, and has been for generations since.

But the effects were not permanent. On the five hundredth year, the star shall die and he shall be freed

I was walking in one of the hallways of the castle.

The glass windows looked more butefful in the night then in the day, I must admit.

I stopped in front of one where Queen Twilight Sparkle and her friends are shown after their victory. Just like me and my new friends now.

"hehehe..."

I heard some laughter from somewhere near me.

"Hello? Who is there?" I asked while getting ready to defend myself.

"Oh, dear Princess, is that anyway to treat you're guest?" a mare appeared out of nowhere in front of me.

"Screwball?! "

"One and only!" she snaps her fingers.

"*sigh* What are you doing here?" I demand and light up my horn.

"Oh, you look scared? Don't be. I'm not going to kill you."

"Well I'm sorry, but how could i not be. You're a thief. How am I supposed to know you don't decide kill me?"

"Now, Luster Dawn. Listen here. I may be a thief and a 'crazy monster' as you ponies call me, and I just escaped prison again... I don't kill!"

"Then why are you here?"

She smiled a big grin. It was scary how she could stretch her smile.

"Why, I'm here to help you're brother."

"My brother?"

"You got it Doll. Has he told you he cant have any children? "

I frown. I knew that he wanted someone to take care of. A family of his own.

He asked for my help before I left. I told him that magic would be dangerous and that it would be Impossible. I regret not helping him more.

" But why you? "

" I don't know, to be honest. Lets just say before I got taken to jail again, when we met, he started talking and talking. But when he told me about his problem... Well I ussaly don’t care, but he be looking adorably hot."

" don't you dare - "

" Relax! I'm not going to do anything bad to him. Lets make a deal... "

" A deal? What kind of?"

" I help him get a kid for him using our DNA. "

" Our DNA? "

" Ofcurse! Even with magic, its too dangerous to use his DNA! I thought you knew that. Ha! "

" I-I... What do you want in return? "

Her grin becomes larger.

" Simple! Those Elements of harmony things. "

" What? "

" How about... When you and you're friends don't need them, I'm going to keep them Well... Umm... You know safe. " she said the last word in a bit lower tone.

" No... "

" Why? Do you want to risk upsetting you're brother? "

I frown and look down.

" No, ofcourse not!.. I just want to keep the world safe... "

" And you will, but right now, you're brother needs you're help more."

"* sigh *alright... How do we do it?"

"Give me you're hair and blood."

"Wait, should we -"

"I'm not sleeping with you! although if you want to -"

"No!"

"Good. This is the way to avoid that awkward stuff."

"Thank Celestia!"

"Indeed...oops, I have to go, cant keep my little guard friends waiting. See ya tomorrow, Princess! Hahaha! "

now im curious. what are your favorite and least favorite g4 episodes, and in a similar vein, your favorite and least favorite g4 characters

i won’t elaborate on all of them because it’s just like. way too much lol there’s so many episodes in characters but LET’S GO

favorite characters: TWILIEEE, I like all of the mane 6 but she’s my girlie, the royal sisters, trixie, maud, sunset, starlight as a villain (she should’ve stayed a bad guy she’s so FUN! a villain who’s power is her words)

least favorite: neighsay, star swirl (the pillars are all just boring as hell honestly), the wonderbolts (seriously? why do they all suck?), “reformed” starlight, maud’s Sheldon cooper boring boyfriend, daring do (i don’t care for the implications of her character), discord (sort of? in canon, because i adore him conceptually and also occasionally. he’s so fun when he’s not awful

not a strong attachment but yona is also really cute, i just think her design is ridiculously adorable and also love her va’s delivery. very funny

For episodes, there’s quite a few but I’ll try and limit myself per season! There’s are ones that I just find the most comfort and enjoyment out of, I like other episodes but these are what really stand out.

Favorite episodes:

season one: ticket master, look before you sleep, winter wrap up, suited for success (a fantastic episode that really made mlp stand out!), and best night ever

season two: return of harmony & canterlot wedding, lesson zero, hearth’s warming eve, hurricane fluttershy,

season three: sleepless in ponyville, wonderbolt academy, magical mystery cure

season four: pinkie pride, it ain’t easy being breezies (ty for a fluttershy episode that breaks away from the usual plot), maud pie, twilight’s kingdom

season five: the cutie map (yay villain starlight!), castle sweet castle, make new friends but keep discord, canterlot boutique, crusaders of the lost mark

season six: a hearth’s warming tale (minus the shaky introduction, the songs are soooo so good), the times they are a changeling, to where and back again (I know I complain about the treatment of Chryssie and those ugly Changeling designs but it’s a solid shakeup from the status quo and sells me more on Starlight as a character)

season seven: parental glideance, discordant harmony, perfect pear, it isn’t the mane thing about you

season eight: horse play, sounds of silence (i just like the kirin’s designs lol)

season nine: she’s all yak, between dark and dawn, the last problem

Least favorite episodes vary between i don’t like this for personal reasons and I don’t like this for obvious reasons:

season one: bridle gossip, over a barrel,

season two: a friend in deed, putting your hood down, dragon quest,

season three: none i really hate? more neutral or positive feeling tbh

season four: three’s a crowd, trade ya

season five: slice of life (it’s just a bit too much, even for a guilty pleasure episode), party pooped, amending fences, brotherhood social, what about discord,

season six: newbie dash (this one is just plain mean), spice up your life (so bad it’s good. rarity is wildly out of character, the main antagonist is a straw man, and so on. kind of in a disbelief at how much this episode doesn’t work lol), stranger than fanfic and honestly every daring do episode, every little thing she does (not selling me on that redemption pony show!)

season seven: flurry of emotions, hard to say anything and really any fucking sugar belle/Big Mac episode, a royal problem (IT SHOULDVE BEEN TWIIILLGFIITHTHR FOAMING AT THE MOUTH THEY TOOK HER FUCKJNG EOISODE), fame and misfortune (“we’re REAL ponies” says the purple horse written by grown adults), once upon a zeppelin (far too mean of an episode for me), shadow play (for the crime of being boring)

season eight: school daze and school raze, fake it til you make it, the break up break down (hate these types of plots), a matter of principals, a rockhoof and a hard place,

season nine: a trivial pursuit, dragon dropped, a horse shoe-in, the ending of the end

MLP Sinnoh

The poll has spoken. Seems there is an interest in this AU of mine so let's get started on that. I suppose its only fair to start with an overview of the world. I even made a map.

(Little side not I totally take art requests for this AU and I promise I answer all questions!)

As you can see the land of Sinnoh is divided into six territories, all inhabited by different creatures including ponies, dragons, deer, griffins, hippogriff, and changelings, each one headed by a Frontier Brain. The races, for the most part, have a shaky harmony, coexisting in peace. The story begins with four of the non-pony races deciding to set up embassy in the pony kingdom of Veilstone. Two ambassadors for each race, aka two of the gym leaders.

The main three characters of the story would be Dawn, Barry, and Lucas who have taken up internships at the castle. The trio would end up being tangled up in the hectic daily life of the palace, balancing affairs with some strange foreigners, and a plot to kill a god and reshape the entire planet.

Divine Beings of MLP: Beings of Light

There are 7 Main Beings of Light. While there are others that are light they are minor being. The Main 7 are Aurelion, Lyric Songweaver, Aetherwing, Valiant Heart, Mysterium, Goldenheart and Celestia.

Aurelion (A play on the words Aura and Lion) is the husband of Celestia before he ascended to the Upper Planes. Is also secretly a Dragon.

Alignment: Lawful Good

Symbol: Silver Triangle, Platinum Dragon, Pine Tree, Anvil

Ruler of: Order, hope, light, redemption, good dragons, kingship

Domains: War, Light, Harmony

Appearance:

Form: A majestic Alicorn with a powerful build. In Dragon form is a large Platinum Dragon and the last remaining Platinum Dragon

Coat: Primarily a gleaming platinum color, like polished metal, with hints of gold shimmering beneath.

Mane and Tail: Long and flowing, resembling spun moonlight, in shades of silver and pale gold.

Eyes: Bright and wise, like twin stars, radiating a warm, golden light.

Cutie Mark: Silver Triangle

Personality: Aurelion embodies the highest virtues of goodness and justice. He is a compassionate and wise ruler, always striving to protect the innocent and uphold the balance of harmony in Equestria. He serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration, encouraging ponies to embrace their inner strength and fight for what is right. Personality: Patient, kind, and understanding. Aetherwing speaks softly, but his words carry weight and wisdom. While gentle, he possesses a deep inner strength and resolve, especially when it comes to protecting his domain. Aetherwing embodies the harmony of nature and seeks to maintain balance in all things. A guardian of all creatures, particularly those who dwell in the sky. He is fiercely protective of the vulnerable and innocent. Slow to anger, but when roused to protect his domain, he can command the very winds and weather.

Powers and Abilities: Master of the skies, able to fly with grace and speed. Can manipulate the winds to aid or hinder flight. Can influence the weather, particularly clear skies, gentle breezes, and the patterns of clouds. Not as focused on storms as his rival. Commands the forces of nature, able to heal and nurture plants and animals. Can communicate with and understand all creatures. Wields magic connected to the stars and constellations, able to glean knowledge from them or even call upon their power. Possesses strong healing abilities, able to mend injuries and restore vitality. Has some ability to shapeshift into creatures of the sky, such as birds or griffons. Eyes: His eyes are deep and knowing, filled with ancient wisdom and a hint of otherworldly power. Some Ponies who have met him report that he has no pupils, some accounts detail him with star-shaped pupils.

Personality: Mysterium is shrouded in mystery, his motives and intentions often unclear. He speaks in riddles and cryptic pronouncements. Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and understanding of magic. He is constantly seeking to unravel the secrets of the multiverse. Possesses vast knowledge of magic and its intricacies. Back in 2015, I made an OC for the world of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". Now, I don't know too much about the show's lore and its impact, but if there's one character I owe for getting me into the spirit of the show, it's Pinkie Pie, but that's another story.

Anyways, this is my bio for my OC, Cuddles. For the pictures you see above, I made these in GeneralZoi's "Pony Creator v2" when the game was playable at the time.

One thing I should mention is Cuddles doesn't have a cutie mark, but I am open to suggestions. I remember someone suggested maybe a heart with two moon symbols. I'm also open to suggestions on what Cuddles' Element of Harmony should be. Unlike Twilight's which is a tiara, and the rest of Twilight's friends who wear necklaces, Cuddles' Element of Harmony would be a cloak, with the gem of his Element of Harmony having a clip on the back. When Cuddles wears his Element of Harmony, he has all the powers of an alicorn such as flying without needing wings and performing magic without needing a horn (the magic would come from Cuddles' hooves instead).

Cuddles used to live with his mom until she got lost one night in a storm. When Cuddles went to look for her out of worry, Cuddles wound up lost in the woods and into the home of Equestria. Ever since he came into the world of Ponyville, the Mane 6 all agreed to look after Cuddles and show him that he doesn't need a mom to have a family. Thanks to Twilight, Cuddles would learn what family really means.

PERSONALITY

Cuddles is dumb, but cute and lovable. He loves giving hugs to anyone and anything he comes across. Cuddles can also be a bit clumsy, but what Cuddles lacks in common sense and personal space, he makes up for with his heart.

INSPIRATION

On July 20, 2015 when I visited California, I came up with an idea for a green earth pony as I walked across Muscle Beach. Before that, I spent some time watching "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" on YouTube (like "MLP in Real Life", duets of certain users singing with Pinkie Pie, and other sorts of fanmade content) and seeing pictures of Pinkie Pie.

Unlike my other OCs who are self-insert characters, this was the first OC I made that has his own stories. My plan was to not make Cuddles a self-insert character, as following the release of the 2017 movie, I wanted to introduce Cuddles after the events of the film. In recent years, I found the best way to introduce Cuddles is after the events of "The Ending of the End - Part 2" and "The Last Problem". However, Cuddles would only be introduced before the Mane 6 aged up, as I Cuddles' final appearance to be where before leaving Equestria, Cuddles would make a promise to come back someday, leaving things open-ended enough for your own imagination to work off of. And after the ending of "The Last Problem", Cuddles would come back to be with his friends again, even though I haven't thought that much about a good continuation. It could even be possible for Cuddles to meet Twilight's student, Luster Dawn.

Again, apologies for the lateness, I spent the last weekend traveling to @Eliyora and @Acharky's wedding.... it was a ton of fun except for the part where I got sick T3T so after Rainbow Roadtrip, I'll actually be looking forward to a little hiatus from Jasper reacts ^^;

Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: So, after sitting around doing barely anything for 9 seasons, the Princesses finally decide to get their acts together and see the world.... and it is plentiful of fun!! We get to see more of them as actual sisters and characters - Celestia's a bubbly adrenaline junkie who wants to live life as much as she can and Luna's an excitable dork who wants to take it easy and loves the post office.... and I love it!! And I really loved the song (And yes, I did notice Capper sneaking around in the background... I kinda feel like it loses the impact when you realize they might not be able to get the movie actors again to reprise their characters), and of course seeing the sisters fight and make up was a treat because it reminds us that they're not just some almighty gods, but also siblings. ...That being said, I didn't really care for the B-Plot with the Mane Six taking over for the Princesses doing the whole "swanifying" thing. Suddenly the rest of them are apprehensive about doing their duties and Miss Twileynanas is all "We got this"? And yeah, I'm with Rainbow Dash on this one.... what was the point of the Swanifying? And of course, the major issue everyone brings up - Fancypants is kind of a snobby jerk in this episode -which was sad cus in Sweet and Elite, we got to see him as the one exception to the whole "aristocrats are jerks" trope Canterlot seems to have... guess hanging with his two country club buddies finally had a negative effect on him. So yeah, I honestly kinda feel like we could've cut the B-Plot out and just have the funny little bit of Twiley trying to raise the sun and the moon at the end (Also, everyone points out how sinister Twilight looks when she says "so THIS is how you rule Equestria" ...maybe Discord's little one-off gag of her on a throne might actually mean something :P.

u know how in mlp luna turned into nightmare moon because she was jealous of celestia? i was dwelling on that and thought of a cars au with this so hear me out

doc took care of the land and worked hard to make sure everyone was safe. he would raise the moon and see into people's dreams so that if he spotted any nightmares he could comfort whoever was in distress and help them out.

lightning raised the sun and started the new day, and although he got the physical adoration (gifts, letters, etc.), he always felt jealous of doc. he was able to connect to people on a personal level, while everyone saw lightning as the higher authority

this jealousy soon manifested into physical form and lightning turned into… NIGHTMARE LIGHTNING! doc and him go into this epic clash/fight until doc banishes lightning to the sun. thats basically it for now

Long long ago...

In a kingdom far away...

There lived two rulers of the skies; The king of the Night, who ruled the moon and stars, protecting people from the wicked of the darkness, and his son; The Prince of the Day who ruled the sun and brought warmth and happiness to the people.

The Prince of Day, raised the sun at dawn, bringing light to the people. The King of Night, brought out the moon, and protected the people from the harm of the shadows.

The two rulers ruled the land in peace and harmony.

However, as time grew on, the prince found himself envious of his father. Yes, he was showered in gifts and admiration of the citizens of the land, but when the people sought out wisdom and comfort, they would often go to the king, leaving the prince feeling used, overlooked at, and lonely.

One day, the prince refused to lower the sun to make way for the night. The king tried to reason with him, but the bitterness in his heart transformed him into a wicked mage of darkness: The Lightning Strike.

In a fit of rage, he summoned thunderstorms and would strike down those who opposed him. The king, fearing for his citizens used the only items that could defeat him. The Elements of Harmony. Using the elements, he defeated his son, and banished him to the sun.

The King of Night then ruled over the land. And harmony has reigned alongside since.

Legends have it, that when the skies cry during thunderstorms, it's actually Prince Monty sobbing tears of sorrow and regret. And when the winds howl, blowing hard, you can almost hear the wailing- the sobs of the King.

OKAY SO

My apologies for not asnwering sooner on the asks about my original work! I still have 1 more exam to go so I only had time to make small tumblr posts and not lenthy ones like this one will be

but no fear my dear, i’m here and queer! hehe

so now for the important stuff

the name of my original work (or original works in this case because it is split up in multiple stories) is ‘the NOX chronicles’

It kinda revolves round 6 things

The moon, the sun, dawn, dusk, crystals and stars

In most stories i’ve always seen a personification of some of these things so i wanted to avoid that and except just let them be themselves!

The moon is just regular old moony self, the stars and sun are their shiny self, the concept of dawn and dusk also remain as normal (no god, goddes or goddling of dusk/dawn), and crystals of course stay crystals!

I’ve assigned to each people to love them and ‘worship’ them. Like the egyptians worshipping Anubis, Osiris, Ra...the greeks worshipping their gods, romans woshipping their (stolen from the greeks) gods, but in this case it’s not gods that are worshipped, but other things!

Among these people there are those who carry powers surounding the thing their people worship, they are the protectors of some sort and there is one protector per worshipped object/concept.

These worshippers (the entire group of people) date from very very long ago, but generation after generation kept their love for their object/concept alive. They did have to hide from other humans because the other humans could not understand how you worshipped an ojbect/concept itself and not a personification of said object/concept. 

The protectors are immortal beings who go through different life cycles. The don’t really die but they coccoon into a new lifeform, which always looks identical to their previous lifeform. They were mostly staying with their people or travelling as nomads. But due to their people having to hide deep in forrest, mountains and caves and due to human evolution, they were eventually forced to live like them. They all fit in pretty well, as they needed too. Would they have been discovered, they would’ve most likely been killed.

Most of their names are female ones but worry not, their sexualities and gender identities are varried! I don’t yet have a name for the sun one but i can tell you that i made him a posh asshole

Now the proctetors don’t have the ‘direct line’ to their object/concept. They don’t hear words or talk to them. Maybe they think about their object/concept but they’re not talking to them out loud in public spaces like lunatics. Their object/concept will ocasionally show signs like crystals lighting up or something similar.

Now for a bit more context about the posh asshole thing-

In popular media (read mlp and dreamtale) the sun/bright yellowness/the light has always been better and brighter than the moon/dark blue/the darkness. And I didn’t want it to be that way.

So i flipped it lol

They 6 realms on earth lived in harmony, the protectors considered themselves siblings. But the sun dude was greedy and wanted more. In his mind he didn’t understand that people liked te night, dusk and dawn and the brightly shining stars and crystals. It is his sun who shines brighter than any and people should therefore worship his sun more than their objects/concepts (in his macho ass mind)

So something of a war broke out and the realms began to seperate from eachother when they went into hiding from the other humans.

The sun guy was the one to quickly fit in with society and implement his ideas. So that’s why the sun is so popular amongst many, because he brainwashed alot of early history into worshipping ‘the light’ even though you had many different verions of the light.

But now in these times, the other objects/concepts are emerging as their popularity is growing. So the other protectors are seeking to reunite to stop the tirany of the sun guy as he is wreaking quite some havic to a lot of things.
