Sooooo, Celestia + Luna and Cadence + Shining Armor redesigns tied on my poll. HOWEVER I do have Shining Armor as well as a toddler Flurry Heart sketched out, I might hold off on Tia and Luna for a while and work on the Pillars! I've got some ideas for Starswirl I think y'all might enjoy 👀
Anyways, I don't really have much to say about this redesign. I wanted her to be fluffier and have a pretty updo, like from the episode Games Ponies Play. I thought braids in the shapes of little hearts would he cute, as well as a big fluffy bun with heart shapes.
Her wings are also based off a dove! The princess of love deserves to have the wings of a bird that symbolizes love 😌
Since Cadence was born a pegasus, she looks different from Luna and Celestia, who in my au are natural born alicorns. Cadence has the genetic makeup of a Pegasus. Winged-ears, feathered tail. I also do want my Cadence to he part Crystal pony, it's really hard to tell, but I have her the same eye-shines that a crystal pony would have (hexagon shaped eyeshine, like in canon). I'll probably post a more crystal-y version of her later with Shining Armor and Flurry.
