I'll say it: I love the MLA, but they probably shouldn't have existed. Not in their canon state, at least.
Everything about their presence after their introductory arc only really serves to make everything to do with storytelling harder for Horikoshi. Let's remove the League from the equation for the moment. The MLA has Geten and Re-Destro, implied to be two of the more powerful characters in the series (and neither of whom were actually defeated during the MVA arc, with the latter only standing down due to losing his own faith in the battle), and that's without getting into the 100k+ foot soldiers they've got kicking around. Curious and Skeptic are fairly useless in regards to combat proficiency, but Hanabata provides another strong support pillar of the army. Even before you add in Shigaraki, Twice and Dabi, the MLA is overpowered.
And what did this lead to? A massively tangled operation where half of its members had to be unsatisfyingly knocked out off-screen because Horikoshi had accidentally made them too powerful to be conceivably beaten. And to be fair, it's a trap I fell into myself the last time I wrote them. The Liberation Army are very difficult to make threatening, because you have to gimp them in order for the heroes to not get immediately blown to pieces like a small child throwing a rock at the Berlin Wall. As it stands, they're too good.
So, in all this smug retrospect, what would I have done? Well, it's something I'm toying with for something I'm working on, but my main idea would be to cut the MLA down. Make them a real underground faction of extremists. They still have their primary figureheads, but that aside, give them a couple of hundred loyalists spread throughout the country, not a couple of hundred thousand. They're powerful, but they're low in number, with many of their forces consisting of people like Yotsubashi's private security team and Hanabata's party subordinates. Much like the IRB at the turn of the twentieth century prior to the Easter Rising, they're basically an old boys' club, sitting around and reminiscing on when the group had power. Their schemes have to be more subtle, more focused on the - ahem - hearts and minds of the public. Things like Detnerat's products and commercials, Curious' articles, Hanabata's proposed policies, they all subtly push a pro-Liberation message. They warm the general population up to the idea, they take advantage of the Commission's failures, they engineer public crises from behind the scenes to weaken people's belief in the current system. What if, for example, it had been the MLA who had secretly encouraged Overhaul's production of a Quirk-erasing drug, in the hopes that it would cause further unrest and fear that they could manipulate to turn public sentiment against the current government? What if they had provided funding to the League post-All for One's arrest in order to stir up more trouble, instead of getting in a big fight and losing half their men to Shigaraki? What if the UA traitor had been acting on orders from the MLA, who then relayed the information to the League for the purpose of essentially using them as their pawns to attack UA on their behalf? A secret society pulling the strings, and using the League as their unwitting patsies, behind the scenes to sow distrust in the Commission and set them up for their eventual failure. The final arc could have been less about whatever the hell it was about and more about the League finally realising what was going on and having a massive three-way battle between the heroes, the villains and the MLA who finally take to the streets after spending pretty much the whole story scheming and manipulating and building up their forces.
It's all fanfic stuff, and it's so easy to point and gape and go "I would do that so much better!" but I honestly think the secret society working to undermine the government angle would have been more interesting and made for a more threatening faction than a massive revolutionary army which gets immediately crumpled during their first major battle with the heroes.

Six of Crows/Shadow and Bone Modern College AU's
Finally the last couple!!!
Kaz:
He's still the country boy we all love, but when his parents died during high school, he and Jordie were "adopted" by Jesper's dad, as the two have been friends for a long time. When Jordie went to the big city to try his luck and earn money so that everyone could have a better life, and in that period Kaz received letters, messages and photos from his brother and one more person in a Suli language, but when he found a man who would be a mentor to him, who later discovers to be Pekka Rollins, he ends up disappearing and leaving behind only a few pieces of information so he begins to draw up his revenge plan and it all starts when he enters the University. There he ends up taking courses in Administration and Economics, he with the money from lending the land of his farms and his investments ends up managing to buy part of "The Crow Club", a famous bar that is frequented mainly by university students but that also hides a lot of illegal business. There Kaz ends up knowing and knowing the secrets of several people and having to save Jes from his addictions, but what no one can understand is how he ended up meeting the captain of the gymnastics team and the cutest person in this world Inej and why they They were always together and she seemed to be the only person he really listened to. Reluctantly he ends up making friends with the rest of the crows, some influenced by Inej, others for his own interest like Wylan and even if he refuses to admit it he is happy to have a family again and they all end up being useful so he can to accomplish his goal of destroying Rollins and Wylan's father Jan Vna Eck and starting to build his money empire alongside his Queen.
Inej:
Inej and Kaz met during the camp they did during childhood and high school, there they both learned about circus life with Kaz training magic tricks and Inej being an acrobrate, thanks to her family, and sometimes working as an assistant to Kaz in the final performances, there she taught Kaz how to read Suli, and they spent the rest of the years talking via letters/postcards from the different places Inej spent with her family and messages. She was one of the first people to know Kaz's feelings about Jordie's death and all his worries and always did her best to advise him, and because of the distance she ended up accepting to be coached by the famous Olympic gymnast Tanten Heleen, however, due to cases of abuse that she ended up suffering there, she asked for Kaz's help to denounce and arrest Tanten, and get financial compensation for all this situation and gave part of that money. Part of the money was given for Kaz to be able to fulfill his dream and be able to go to the same university, I think that during this troubled period they ended up returning to Ravka to be able to stay out of the average time when they turned 18 and ended up getting married in secret. At university, she studied to work as a social worker and continued her gymnast training, as well as starting to do social work at the shelter, which she secretly funds with Kaz's help and the class for the younger children, something she loves most. no one knows is that sometimes Kaz goes there and gives magic presentations. All her friends keep trying to get them to be together but she pretends not to see the schemes and attempts at dates and has a bet with Kaz to find out which of them will be the first to find out everything, besides one of her secret activities for Kaz it's reading and discovering people's secrets so she also knows when Jes and Nina need help with their addictions, what to do to help Wylan to escape his father and help Mla and Alina against the weird teacher and to learn more about your past. And it all culminates in the arts and benevolence ball where all of their lives end up getting on track for the first time in a long time, several secrets are revealed and now they can live their happily ever after with those who chose to live, HAPPY ENDING.
(I think they ended up adopting one of the children that was cared for at the Shelter, a girl of about 3/4 years old who was always in awe of Inej thinking she was Rapunzel and was never afraid of Kaz unlike the other children who had to be conquered, as he thought he was the Prince of Inej.)
Thanks for everyone who had read, see U later ❤❤

"115 Crores Frozen, Don't Have That Much": Congress On Bank Accounts Row
The Congress today faced a temporary hurdle after the Income Tax department froze its main bank accounts, including those of the Youth Congress. However, the party swiftly challenged the move, and the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal granted relief by de-freezing the accounts until a final hearing next week.
The Congress issued a clarification stating that the party is mandated to ensure that a sum of ₹ 115 crore has to be maintained in their bank accounts. The amount has to remain untouched in compliance with the directive from the tax authorities, implying a freeze on these funds.
"This means that ₹ 115 crore have been frozen. This ₹ 115 crore is much more than we have in our current accounts," the Congress said.
In a press conference earlier today, party treasurer Ajay Maken described the move as a "disturbing blow to the democratic process". The freeze reportedly stems from a tax demand of ₹ 210 crore raised by the Income Tax department, a move that the Congress claims is politically motivated and strategically timed to disrupt the party's election preparations.
Democracy doesn't exist; this is like a one-rule party, and the principal opposition party has been subjugated. We seek justice from the judiciary, media, and the people," Mr Maken said.
The Congress leader said that the party has taken legal action in response to the freeze, with the matter currently before the income tax appellate tribunal. In a press conference, Mr Maken explained that they chose not to disclose the information earlier as the hearing is pending.
The party learned about the freezing of its accounts yesterday, and the party's lawyer Vivek Tankha said that a total of four accounts have been affected. Banks have been instructed not to accept or honour Congress' cheques, with the frozen funds to be submitted to the Income Tax department.
Mr Maken claimed that in the election year of 2018-19, the party submitted its accounts 45 days late, but freezing the accounts is an extreme measure. He argued that there have been cases and precedents where such actions were not taken.
"We have given the names of all MLAs and MPs who have contributed, based on the Manmohan Singh committee report," Mr Maken stated.
The Congress leader claimed that timing of the freeze, coming just ahead of the crucial general elections, raises suspicions about the motives behind the Income Tax department's actions
"Right now, we have no money to spend. Electricity bills, staff salaries, our Nyay yatra, everything is impacted. Look at the timing; this is clear," he said. "We have only one PAN, and the four accounts are all linked."
Party president Mallikarjun Kharge voiced his apprehension, stating, "Intoxicated with power, the Modi government has frozen the accounts of the country's largest opposition party - the Indian National Congress - just before the Lok Sabha elections. This is a deep blow to democracy."
"The unconstitutional money that BJP has collected will be used in the elections, but the money we have collected through crowdfunding will be sealed. That is why we have said that there will be no elections in the future! We appeal to the judiciary to save the multi-party system in this country and secure India's democracy. We will take to the streets and fight strongly against this injustice and dictatorship," he added, in a post on X.
This development comes on the heels of the Supreme Court, in a landmark judgment, striking down the electoral bonds scheme. The electoral bonds scheme, introduced by the government on January 2, 2018, was seen as a solution to replace cash donations and enhance transparency in political funding.

Empowering Lives in SPSR Nellore: The Transformative Impact of MGNREGS Under N Chandrababu Naidu
The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) has enabled the SPSR Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh to make significant progress in giving the underprivileged access to employment opportunities. This progress has been made under the dynamic leadership of Shri N Chandrababu Naidu. The district has become a model for other areas due to its notable achievements and dedication to enhancing livelihood security and efficient fund utilisation. The people of Nellore have seen a radical change in their quality of life as a result of the TDP government's commitment to empowering socially disadvantaged groups and tackling rural issues.
Under the leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu, the SPSR Nellore district has routinely surpassed the monthly MGNREGS targets set by the state government. As of February 14th, the district had surpassed its monthly goal and held the top spot in the state for job opportunities. In addition, over the course of the remaining portion of the month, an extra 100,000 individuals were given jobs, demonstrating the TDP leaders' dedication to empowering the impoverished and improving their standard of living. With this TDP contributions, the district has performed better than it has in the previous 14 years, underscoring the significant influence of the MGNREGS programme on Nellore residents' quality of life. The administration of N Chandrababu Naidu has successfully used the MGNREGS funds to build vital infrastructure in the district as well as to create jobs. In addition to empowering socially disadvantaged groups like women, SCs, and STs, this initiative has been instrumental in managing floods and drought. By employing the scheme's material component, the district has effectively produced assets such as structures, homes, Anganwadis, village secretariats, and Rythu Bharosa Kendras. This strategy of creating jobs and constructing infrastructure has had a long-lasting effect on the district's overall growth. The district's official TDP website offers up-to-date information on the most recent developments and accomplishments of the party in Nellore.
The goals that former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had in mind for the Nellore district went beyond MGNREGS. The TDP MPs and MLAs made a concerted effort to encourage farmers to switch from low-paying horticulture to high-paying agriculture. Andhra Pradesh State outperformed the national growth rate of 3% in agricultural growth, achieving an astounding 11%. In addition to increasing farmer incomes, this emphasis on agricultural diversification has aided in the region's overall development and prosperity. During talks with farmers, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu suggested creating a separate MGNREGS work calendar for the agricultural and related sectors in order to guarantee continued progress. This creative strategy involved figuring out how many man-days were needed for each task and then adding the already-enhanced 100 days of guaranteed employment to those man-day totals. Such actions would improve MGNREGS's impact in Nellore and bolster rural development initiatives even more. Go through the official TDP website for regional news on the TDP's contributions and achievements under N Chandrababu Naidu's guidance..

The TDP government, under the governance of N. Chandrababu Naidu, introduced the innovative program "Chandranna Bata" to convert earthen internal roads into robust Cement Concrete Roads. This program, amalgamating the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and the 13th/14th Finance Commission, aimed at laying concrete roads in saturation mode, with the ambitious goal of completion by 2020. Before the state's bifurcation in 2014, the TDP government converted approximately 1,112 km of internal roads into concrete from 2006 to 2014. Post-bifurcation, from 2014-15 onwards, an impressive 23,553 km of rural internal roads were transformed into Cement Concrete Roads. The TDP government's vision extends to achieving 100% coverage of internal roads with CC Roads, with an additional 8,000 km planned for conversion.
Beyond rural roads, the TDP government prioritized the development of national highways, state highways, and overall road infrastructure. By March 2003, the state witnessed significant progress with a 4,104 km-long National Highway, 3,397 km of State Highways, and 3,397 km of road construction, amounting to an investment of Rs. 2,221.69 Crores. This comprehensive approach included widening, strengthening, and repairing existing roads. In a bid to fortify the state's road network against natural disasters, the TDP government secured financial assistance of 260 crore rupees from the World Bank under the Natural Disasters Cyclone Aid Scheme. This funding facilitated the strengthening of 15 state roads, covering 212.7 km in length, along with the reconstruction of 41 bridges and repair works on 38 government buildings.
Under the astute leadership of Shri. N Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP government undertook the construction and maintenance of roads covering 3,436 km from 1995-96 to 2002-2003, spending a significant amount of 498.37 crore rupees. The completion of 142 bridges and 547 km of roads marked a significant stride in the state's infrastructural development.
A testament to TDP's visionary leadership is the initiation of State Highway 31 connecting Renigunta and Muddanur, the longest known state roadway in the combined districts of Kadapa and Chittoor.

N Chandrababu Naidu's Role In Enhancing Rural Employment And Infrastructure
Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, demonstrated a keen commitment to the development of rural areas by harnessing the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). During a teleconference with officials from various departments as part of the Neeru-Pragathi initiative, he urged them to focus on rural infrastructure while also addressing the pressing issue of deficient rainfall and the conservation of rabi crops. Emphasizing the importance of expanding their efforts, N Chandrababu Naidu articulated a TDP agenda of increasing daily man-days from 11 lakh to an impressive 15 lakh. Notably, there remained $300 million in funds available for village infrastructure projects, even after the State government had allocated Rs. 745 crores. The Water Resources Department, Panchayat Raj, and other relevant departments were encouraged to make the most of the Rs. 1,045 crore earmarked for rural infrastructure upgrades. Chandrababu Naidu proposed a daily wage of Rs. 187, with an additional provision of 50 man-days for drought-affected mandals.
However, changes at the state level were anticipated, especially following a change in government leadership. Andhra Pradesh, a case in point, had experienced significant administrative shifts due to the state's bifurcation. With the new TDP Party, led by Chandrababu Naidu and the top TDP MLAs, there was a growing focus on potential policy changes. These measures were poised to bring about substantial improvements in the implementation of TDP schemes, particularly in ethically marginalized areas of Andhra Pradesh and possibly in other regions. It is crucial to highlight the marginalized communities, such as Scheduled Tribes (STs), who continue to lag behind the rest of the population in various human development indices. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs' data paints a stark picture of their underdevelopment, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions. N Chandrababu Naidu, in his role as the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and TDP Party Leader, underscored the significance of safeguarding the rabi crops to ensure a steady agricultural output. He even suggested deploying rain guns if necessary to mitigate the impact of inadequate rainfall. In addition, he urged officials to take measures to ensure sufficient grazing for cattle during the dry summer months, which would prevent shortages in milk production.
To enhance water conservation efforts, N Chandrababu Naidu also recommended accelerating the Neeru-Pragathi program, with a specific focus on raising groundwater levels. To further the cause, Chandrababu Naidu urged party workers to showcase the TDP achievements over the last 20 months in villages and enumerate the various public welfare programs that had been undertaken. This would help in informing the public about the positive changes that had taken place under the TDP's leadership, promoting the party's efforts and commitment to the welfare of the people. In conclusion, Nara Chandrababu Naidu's proactive TDP policies and approach to rural development, environmental conservation, and the welfare of marginalized communities underline his dedication to improving the lives of the people of Andhra Pradesh. His vision, as articulated during the Neeru-Pragathi initiative, as well as his commitment to the TDP manifesto, is poised to make a significant impact on the state's governance and development.
