Princesa Flama (Phoebe): En este universo, la princesa flama o Phoebe es la protagonista. Fue encerrada en una lámpara gigante para no reemplazar a su padre como reina, pero fue liberada gracias a Jaxter, a quien está eternamente agradecida. Después de ser liberada, estaba enamorada del Rey Invernal, hasta que conoció a Finn y supo el pasado del Rey, pues después lo odia y se hace novia del humano.

Jaxter: En este universo, el mejor amigo/figura fraterna es Jaxter, un diablillo de la Nocheosfera puede teletransportarse en una bocanada de humo. Le encanta molestar a la gente y hacerle bromas a sus seres queridos, pero puede ser serio y "malicioso" cuando esta realmente enfadado. A diferencia de Jake, él vendría siendo el hermano menor de Phoebe, pues es ella la más responsable de los dos, además de que el no tiene hijos, pero si llega a tener huevitos de forma asexual.

Rey Invernal: En este universo, Simon Petrikov (Al igual que una de sus variantes) logró quitarse la locura de la corona traspasandosela a la Dulce Princesa, convirtiéndose a si mismo en el Rey Invernal. No está interesado en tener relaciones románticas, pero ve a Phoebe y Jaxter como amigos, aunque no le agrada mucho el Rey de Ooo (Pese a que el segundo dice que son mejores amigos). Todavía conserva a Gunther (Aunque lo trata como una mascota mimada), pero ahora también tiene otra hija adoptiva llamada Marcy (En referencia a Marceline).

Reina Dulce: En este universo, Bonnibel Bubblegum (Al igual que una de sus variantes) es convertida en la Reina Dulce después de que Simon Petrikov/Rey Invernal le traspasará su locura. Gracias a su locura, suele actuar como una combinación entre Pinkie Pie y la Reina de Corazones, una reina loca que castiga por cualquier cosa y a la vez no se toma nada en serio. Todavía llega a tener ciertos recuerdos de quién era o brotes de inteligencia, pero casi no hay nada de Bonnibel.

The Star (Marceline): En este universo, Marceline (Al igual que una de sus variantes) fue adoptada por el Rey Vampiro, con la diferencia de que fue dada por muerta por Simon después de un ataque zombie. Fue a Ooo para diseccionar a un sobreviviente, pero se quedó por la Reina Dulce, con quién iniciaría una relación romántica. Odia al Rey Invernal por abandonarla (Desde su punto de vista), y hasta quiere ayudar a la Reina Dulce por su daño psicológico (Aunque la última no entiende por su locura).

Finn el Humano: En este universo, Finn fue criado en un mundo apocalíptico lleno de vampiros, por lo que tiene más habilidades de supervivencia que el Canon!Finn. Es bastante asocial y no confía en Jaxter por su naturaleza demoníaca, pero ama a Phoebe y quiere protegerla a toda costa, convirtiéndose eventualmente en su caballero más leal. Durante una aventura con Phoebe, es atacado y secuestrado por un Demonio de Hierba, lo que lo convierte en un híbrido entre humano y hierba, pudiendo estirarse sin límites, tener regeneración y convertirse en una armadura.

It's about time we give a spotlight to the lovely souls that make up the Gilmoriends. Each of these twenty beauties brings their own sparkle in unity. creating the atmosphere that feels like home. They’re not just pretty faces; they’re funny, easy to tease (in a friendly way, I swear), and... just genuinely funny, really. Let’s dive in and get to know the incredible members who make Gilmoriends what it is!

Let’s start with the three that bring Gilmoriends to life, which none other than Jacqueline, the free spirit who tells it like it is, she is the kind of girl who’ll tell you if your outfit isn’t working (if you need a dose of honesty, she’s your go-to gal!). She’s got a knack for mockery that somehow always manages to make you laugh, never offend you. Second, is Rosemarie, the wise-advice giver with a wicked sense of humor! You can count on her to drop some serious wisdom when you need it—right after she serves you a perfectly timed sarcastic jokes casually like bombshells. Lastly, we have Phoebe, the ultimate cinephile who always armed with film references, also one who competing neck-and-neck with Rosemarie’s sarcasm (it’s a common scene to catch these two picking a fight).

And… drumroll, everyone… here come the new faces that bring Gilmoriends together! Starting with Teyis, the one who keeps us all complaining about how dark her profile is, but honestly, it suits her the most! She’s basically the human equivalent of a cozy night Next up is Bibie, our resident sweetheart and the only westerner in the crew! She’s the one who’s always down for whatever, whether it’s a movie night or a Spotify session. If there’s an activity going on, you can bet she’s right in the middle of it. Then we have Clayie, our meme royalty! Her fingers quicker than a lightning when it comes to editing the funniest video and photo memes to roast the rest of us (don’t worry, she’s our punching bag too, so it’s all in good fun!) also, you’ll never run out of things to discuss with her. And here’s MJ—nope, not Mary Jane or even Zendaya—but her very own MJ! One of our cinephiles making her the perfect movie buddy (also the post-discussion, too). Odes is here to bring the cuteness overload! She’s the friendliest of the bunch, always radiating good vibes that make everyone feel welcome, but still could keep-up with the humor (what a talent!). Then we’ve got Sassy, who we bonded with over playful fights, also an MJ’s (Michael Jackson, not Gilmoriends’ MJ) enthusiast and will not stop talking about him (we secretly love hearing her yap on about it). Meet Qidney, one who sweet and caring but also has a surprising sense of humor that sneaks up on you with random jokes, dropping punchlines like bombshells. Then we have Ophel, the girl who seems like she could be friends with just about everyone, really. Give off the approachable vibe, making it easy to share some jokey moments with her. Aveline, the night owl, is usually awake when the rest of us are snoozing, but also an amazing listener and a wise advisor when you need one! Let’s not forget Tejef, one of the most talkative, ready to chat about anything (not even exaggerating). You could bring up the most uncommon topic, and she’ll be there, ears wide open, ready to engage in a lively discussion. And then there’s Nyxié, our ghost-reader! To summon her from her reading cave, just mention anything related with soccer, and voilà—she’ll appear to join the conversation! Say hi to Acacia, our fun-loving and easygoing spirit! She brings the good vibes and wherever she goes. Also, she looks like she’s got a top-secret list of the finest men on the planet, and she’s not afraid to let it show! And next is Theela! also a football enthusiast and the life of the party! We need to see more of her hilarious side; 'cause we know she’s got the kind of humor that could has us cackling. Asleey, the one bubble that pops and dips forever! But when she does surface, you can expect her to say the sweetest things that make it all worth the wait. If Swifties listen to other artists its generally just Taylor adjacent people like Phoebe (and boygenius by extension) and Lana. How bland it must be to only listen to artists who happen to work with or be friends with one artist. Which reminds me, the music they listen to is usually produced by Jack. God its one big circle.

ok important fic-related question! I know Kirby is into rock / punk / metal (yes yes MJ you're projecting) and I think Sam is an indie rock girl, but what about Tara and Amber? I do think Amber had an edgy "Helter Skelter" phase but outside of that I'm drawing a blank

oooooh okay okay i have some thoughts yeah!

for tara, there are songs that she's listened to in canon, which can help giving you an insight into what she probably listens to? because in the post-OKB party argument scene in 6 "when the party's over" by billie eilish starts playing, and when it transitions to tara's bedroom, the volume lowers, giving you the impression she was listening to it as she got ready for bed.

also i went back to rewatch the scene (i love having all of the movies downloaded on my pc) and when chad arrives another music starts playing! the name's "you have stolen my heart" by brian fallon, and it's a folk/indie song.

which yeah it pretty much lines up with what i think tara would listen to? a mix of folk, indie/indie rock (some of which she's listened to since she was a kid, influenced by sammy <3), alt/alt rock (influenced by amber!) and pop/pop punk! maybe artists like billie ofc, tate mcrae, conan gray, paramore, phoebe bridgers, lorde, mitski, haim, mumford and sons... let's say she also listens to maya hawke because why tf not am i right :3

for amber, i think she definitely listened to pop punk and rock! she definitely had an edgy helter skelter phase lmfao. i think she's deep into her edgy phase actually. and i think she listens to both indie/alt rock and punk/hard rock with a pinch of metal as well!

i think she would listen to artists like arctic monkeys, måneskin... i can see her having artists such as evanescence and paramore (which she definitely got tara into, because tara, please, look at hayley williams) as her first loves lmfao. i'm also gonna say she listened to fall out boy/p!atd and my chemical romance at some point. also older bands like ramones! i'm not big on metal though so i can't give many examples on what i think she'd listen to :3

mostly spidey and pilgrimage, but i dabble in other fandoms--mostly voltron, which i had thought i had escaped the sucking quicksand of but alas seems not to be the case

5. do you respond to comments?

i try to! transparently, i sometimes get overwhelmed and while i love receiving comments and re-read every single one a million times, i do sometimes have a hard time actually responding. i cherish every single one but also my brain was cursed by the gods.

6. what is the fic your wrote with the angstiest ending?

probably my pilgrimage fic, everything's growing in our garden. it's very rare that i write for vibes but phoebe bridgers' Punisher had me in a chokehold and that is definitely reflected in that fic, short as it is. it's my most "closure denied" ending, that i've posted anyway, and i think that ups the angst factor.

7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

pilgrimage fandom gets the top spot here too, with love sent to me. it's probably the most straightforward romance/get-together fic i've written, and AU to boot, which are both anomalies for me. but i have a great deal of affection for that fic, and i love the tenderness of it.

8. do you get hate on fics?

the closest i get in spidey is generally people being demanding about updates, which i usually just delete. there is one particular troll in pilgrimage who crops up every once in awhile to leave "hate" comments on various peoples' fics, and i've been hit with that a couple times, but that's just a pathetic person wanting attention so it doesn't really count.

other than that, i really have the best commentariat anyone could ask for.

9. do you write smut?

yes! i firmly believe erotica is an important tool for examining characters and their relationships

10. craziest crossover:

i don't write crossovers exactly, so i'll cop out and point to the spidey/twilight fusion au since it is crossover-adjacent

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

not to my knowledge! and hopefully i never will

12. have you ever had a fic translated?

again not to my knowledge! there are few things i would find more flattering

13. have you ever co-written a fic before?

alas, no. i love the prospect of it, and have gotten to the outlining/ideating stage with a few people in the past, but again i'll be fully transparent in that i'm not the most reliable person to attempt that kind of project with. maybe someday, and i'm definitely open to it!

14. all time favorite ship?

i'm a libra with adhd, asking me to choose a favourite is a hate crime.

from the lens of fannish engagement or creation, which to me is different but not unrelated to loving/shipping a couple as it is represented/written in the text, it's probably any combination of Ned/MJ/Peter, either platonic or romantic. i love an OT3, i love frenship, i LOVE where NWH left us and the possibilities we can explore with their relationships to one another.

15. what's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

if i truly doubt a wip will get finished, i don't post it. everything i've posted is something i fully intend to finish, i just can never say when that might happen. i can't predict the future obviously, so maybe that'll change, but i re-read my posted works relatively frequently and have a genuine desire to see them all complete at some point. even the ones that i reread and can see how my writing has since improved, or think i could have executed better, i still have love for and interest in. if i didn't, i'd delete.

16 & 17. what are your writing strengths and weaknesses?

combining these two because my writing strength is a reflection of my writing weakness: i'm very good at elaborating on ideas, not so much on coming up with them whole cloth. what i mean by that is i'm most comfortable, as a writer, coming up with creative and even novel divergences from canon, and making the corresponding changes in characters and plot that would result from those divergences. i'm good at the "what if" of fic.

the converse is that i'm not great at speculation, of figuring out "what happens next". so much of my post-NWH stuff, for example, is about exploring potential emotional and relationship-based realities, but doesn't have "plot" in the sense of being developments of the story of Peter Parker as i imagine it might happen in the MCU. even fics like we said our dreams will carry us, which i bill as a kind of post-beyond the spiderverse speculation fic, doesn't actually deal with the nitty-gritty of what i think might happen in the next movie. how things actually happen in this imagined version of beyond the spiderverse is secondary to the emotional fallout of those events, and that's what i'm writing about.

both these flow from my primary analytical strength/weakness: i am great at interpretive analysis, and fucking terrible at predictive analysis.

18. thoughts on dialogue in another language?

it is. incredibly difficult to get right. i studied languages and translation in university, and i still hesitate to write dialogue in other languages into my fics. it's not just a matter of getting the language itself right. that in and of itself is difficult, but anecdotally speaking i find that most native speakers of a language who read fic are incredibly kind and polite when making corrections to the language.

what takes me out of a fic is the manner in which other languages are integrated, and how very poorly that is usually done. "oh sorry it's hard to switch back" has become a meme, but a lot of the use of languages other than English, when written by non-native speakers of the languages in question, read as just that clunky and incredibly disconnected from how polyglots actually speak and switch between languages.

having said all that, language is an INCREDIBLY important part of culture, which makes it an equally important part of the characters who speak--or whose families speak--other languages. as someone in spider-man fandom, Miles' Puerto Rican heritage and both his and Rio's relationships to that heritage and the spanish language are important elements of his character. when i write Miles, and especially Miles & Rio, it's important to me that that is incorporated. like anything, it takes research, and thoughtfulness, and humility--try your best, and be ready to be corrected if you get it wrong.

where charles is a DISASTER magnet, who's always at the worst place at the worst time (he's still a ferrari f1 driver) and pierre is the red power ranger who keeps having to save him (while eventually also falling in love)

maybe arthur is the yellow power ranger or something so charles gets introduced to pierre as pierre (I'm trying so hard not to make this like peter & mj but fail) (the rest of the power rangers can be anyone from the grid)

anyways they're both idiots in love with each other, but they're idiots so neither of them make a move until the bad guys figure out charles must mean something special to the rangers because he happens to be at like 3/8 of the crime scenes and red ranger is actually tender with him in a way he isn't with anyone else, they think charles can be the rangers weakness

fast forward a few weeks, the bad guys have finally figured out a plan of attack, that they'll leverage charles for the jewel of power or whatever and they plan to carry it out at some ferrari event in Italy EXCEPT pierre (and arthur) are already there. not as rangers but just as the charles leclerc support squad. and they both fight dirty but somehow thwart the bad guys plan anyways and then it's just the three of them in an empty building and they end up revealing their identities to charles and when charles calms himself down enough to not kill his baby bro (who sheepishly takes his leave and runs the hell away from there but not before giving a suggestive wink towards them both and pierre makes a reminder to give him the worst tasks from now on because that little shit.)

then it's just pierre and charles and charles and pierre and charles comes and stands so close to pierre that their toes are touching and he looks furious but also so concerned and a little worried and maybe even hurt and it looks like he's about to either slap pierre or kiss him and pierre can't decide when charles snatches him by his collar and their mouths collide but since they're both idiots they lose their balance and fall on top of each other before bursting into hysterical laughter that turns a little too emotional and charles says the deepest, most emotional poetic thing pierre has ever heard in his life with that teary look in his eyes and pierre is like "fuck I am in love KISS KISS KISS"

anyways they become boyfriends after that and nobody ever let's them live it down especially arthur

Yeah. arthur makes fun of him so much for being the Knight In Shining (Red) Armor and pierre is like "i dont care if we both have ranger strength. i am going to kick your god damn ass." arthur just laughs bc pierre would never, he's too fond of the leclercs no matter how annoying they are.

also also also. oh god. oh my god. charles after he finds out the red ranger is pierre?!?!? would be so worried immediately after the battle bc pierre is bloodied and beaten a little, mostly okay but also definitely a lil fucked up. he's touching pierre's face, are you okay, pierre, you could've fucking died--and that devolves into the How Could You Not Tell Me and he starts to get mad and pierre just. is so relieved charles is ok and he knows that he just grabs charles to pull him close for a hug, but charles has other plans and kisses him instead. and he's like oh yeah you do have a crush on the red ranger don't you🤭😏 and charles is like "you're actually the worst person in the world bar none"
