Hogtober Day 11 : Astronomy

A little illustration (which really took me too long…) to draw for the very first time the first ship in which I had the pleasure of integrating one of my characters.

It's my Tristan with the wonderful Aurélie ( @morelikeravenbore )

I wanted to draw something quite intimate between them, bearing in mind that Tristan is known to be rather awkward with girls. Apart from his sisters, he'd never shown the slightest interest in another girl, until Aurélie came into his life, a bit like Aurélie came into mine. ❤️

Pairing: Calypso Salutations (@dwightschrute11) x Avania Chase

Warnings: Cursing, lesbianism.

Summary: Avania, the aloof girk from district 4 and Calypso, sunshine of 11, are thrust into the hunger games. Avania’s set on winning, there’s nothing to get back to, sure, but she doesn’t want to die by somebody else. She wants death to be her own choice. But then she meets Cal, a bright eyed girl who stirs feelings and makes her wonder if she wants to get back home knowing it will cause the other girls death.

She’d had to ask her mentor if there was some kind of mind control plant in 11. There had to be. And that Salutations girl must have put it in when she left her coffee unattended. Damned girl. She had to have done something, or else she wouldn’t be feeling like this.

Like every other tribute, she rewatched the reaping to size up the competition. Her initial reaction to the girl from 11 was…indifference. Maybe a bit of pity knowing she wouldn’t survive, just based on her sunny demeanour.

But now? With the blue eyed girl throwing the occasional glance at her as they prepared for the tribute parade? It made her stomach twist uncomfortably and it pissed her off. She scowled at the girl, hoping to scare her off. But her frown deepened when that stupid cocky git Sallow from District 7 started chatting her up. She’d watched his reaping, he’d volunteered for his sister, a sickly girl called Anne.

Bu whatever, she shouldn’t dwell on how stupidly adorable the girl looked. She’d end up on the end of her spear by next week so there was no point getting attached.

All I can say is if Cal and Lyssa were in the same universe, Cal would (inadvertently) give Seb and Ominis a run for their money in the competition for Lyssa’s affection hahaha.

Hogtober, Day 16: MC x MC

✨ Dueling Pianos AU with Damien and @heyitszev’s Charlie 🥰🥰🥰

This past spring and into early summer, Zev and I went down the glorious rabbit hole that is MC x MC and wrote a few one-shots centered around Damien and Charlie as enemies to lovers.

Here's an excerpt (this part written by the incredibly talented @heyitszev) from a one-shot we wrote together, cast away this mask of clay:

"On one end, this disdain for Damien that was deeply rooted in their shared past, their shared life, on the other, this pull towards him. This feeling that Damien knew both sides of Charlie, that Damien was gentle where Charlie was rough, that fighting side by side revealed that they fit together in a way no one else could. "

One final note: If you haven't yet read Zev's fic "We Shall Be Monsters," what the heck are you waiting for????? I will forever and always shout to the rooftops about this fic. Sebastian is a freaking WEREWOLF, people, and Charlie is one of my favorite OCs of all time. Need I say more?

Hogtober Day 31 : Haunted shop

With @speedysart , We've decided to end Hogtober with a collaboration on a one-shot we're working on Damian and Alice. For the collaboration, we decided to start with a drawing for the middle panel, entirely drawn by Speedy and coloured by myself. The other panels each represent an important moment for our characters:

Alice in the haunted greenhouse, because when she was harassed, she often took refuge in the greenhouses, which had become a bit like her safe place. - - But eventually, in the haunted shop, this place became a source of anguish for her.

Damian in the huge room with the mannequins. He hears Alice's voice trying to mislead and confuse him about mistakes he has made in the past, putting Alice's life in danger.

The final panel is none other than the first kiss (Yeah well huh, everyone's had a hard time in their respective seats, they're entitled to a kiss to reassure each other? ) and the realisation that something has formed between them. _______________________________ I wanted to thank all the people who have followed my progress in this challenge and, above all, who have been incredibly supportive, because it's not been an easy month between this challenge, my work and my morale, which has been badly affected. After long days working with the children, I was working on today's contribution for Hogtober. So sometimes I was extremely exhausted. I also fell ill but I never stopped drawing, because for me, this challenge was important (much more so than my health xD).

I'd also like to thank my wifey @speedysart, who has been a tremendous support, both in terms of my morale and my drawings. And I'm extremely proud to have been able to work with her on this challenge. ❤️❤️
