Hogtober Day 31 : Haunted shop

With @speedysart , We've decided to end Hogtober with a collaboration on a one-shot we're working on Damian and Alice. For the collaboration, we decided to start with a drawing for the middle panel, entirely drawn by Speedy and coloured by myself. The other panels each represent an important moment for our characters:

Alice in the haunted greenhouse, because when she was harassed, she often took refuge in the greenhouses, which had become a bit like her safe place. - - But eventually, in the haunted shop, this place became a source of anguish for her.

Damian in the huge room with the mannequins. He hears Alice's voice trying to mislead and confuse him about mistakes he has made in the past, putting Alice's life in danger.

The final panel is none other than the first kiss (Yeah well huh, everyone's had a hard time in their respective seats, they're entitled to a kiss to reassure each other? ) and the realisation that something has formed between them. _______________________________ I wanted to thank all the people who have followed my progress in this challenge and, above all, who have been incredibly supportive, because it's not been an easy month between this challenge, my work and my morale, which has been badly affected. After long days working with the children, I was working on today's contribution for Hogtober. So sometimes I was extremely exhausted. I also fell ill but I never stopped drawing, because for me, this challenge was important (much more so than my health xD).

I'd also like to thank my wifey @speedysart, who has been a tremendous support, both in terms of my morale and my drawings. And I'm extremely proud to have been able to work with her on this challenge. ❤️❤️

Hogtober Day 27 : Poachers

Another scene from the lore of my fanfiction "The Secret Keepers"

This scene precedes the famous arena scene where Tristan is under Rookwood's control before attacking Ariane. He had gone in search of his sister and came face to face with the poachers who attacked him without any scruples. Naturally, Tristan uses his animagus form to defend himself and protect his sister.

Tristan's bravery is well represented in this scene ❤️

Hogtober Day 26 : Forbidden Forest

Aedan Philidor is also an Animagus and often takes on the appearance of a handsome black stallion to go unnoticed. Or even to gain valuable information from the unicorns of the Forbidden Forest.

In this very scene, the unicorn shows Aedan the way through the Forest. I won't tell you what he's looking for… hehehe ❤️

Hogtober Day 25 : Mask

It gives me great pleasure to unveil one of my new characters who was born on my Discord server: Thomas Pellidron.

He has an extremely close bond with Aedan and Ariane, as he's their hidden brother. For a very long time, they thought of Thomas as just a cousin, but in reality, he was born of that damned plan hatched by the aunt, who did everything she could to fool Aedan and Ariane's father by taking on the appearance of their mother. However, as Thomas was conceived when the aunt took on the appearance of her own sister, he is considered a biological brother and not a half-brother. ❤️

Just to prove once again how much I'm in love with @speedysart 's characters, I decided to work on Damian and his beautiful design when he went to Romania to work with dragons ❤️

Hogtober Day 23 : Pensieve

But who is this handsome Greek in Ariane's company? Well, for those who aren't on my server, he's simply the first Secret Keeper in my fanfiction: Phyllios.

Phyllios is the son of Circe and Odysseus. He is a character who is naturally endowed with ancient magic and who has discovered an oracle about his own life, in which he becomes immortal and must travel through the ages to meet the only female descendant of the long line of Philidors. Ariane went on to become Phyllios' student and, to some extent, his daughter too. ❤️

I'll try to share more about Phyllios in the coming weeks.❤️

I just wanted to draw Ariane with the Death during the 3nd Trial in the game. And also, it was a challenge to use the same artstyle ❤️

Hogtober Day 21 : Past/Future

I finally finished a drawing where I was able to draw Aedan, my french MC for the first time. ❤️

For this composition, I wanted to draw him younger when he was a teenager and when he gets his scar after a quarrel. And as you can see, Aedan had longer hair. Then we have the current Aedan, with his short hair and his desire to find his sister. I thought it would be interesting to draw the famous necklace that he keeps preciously and that belonged to Ariane.... Oups... Yeah... Aedan is Ariane's real brother ❤️

Hogtober Day 20 : MC x Canon

Ariane de Tandail & Sebastian Sallow

- Ariane..? -What I did was unforgivable, Sebastian… By trying so hard to prove to everyone who I was, I ended up losing myself. And Tristan paid the price for my insolence and selfishness… I never wanted to hurt him…

For the context of this scene, we're a few days after Tristan was rushed to the Mungo's hospital. Ariane, feeling rejected by everyone and depressed after putting her brother in danger, is becoming increasingly isolated. And Sebastian is trying to get back to her, and to make amends for calling her ignorant. That's when he realises that Ariane is in the same situation as he is now: having a brother or sister cursed by Rookwood.

This is really inspiring watching you continuously post the Higtober art! You did so many characters that don't often get the attention, it reminds me that there are more than just 3-5 popular ones that everyone is used to drawing. I hope your October is going well 💚🥰 Love your art!

And I completely agree with you. For this new edition, I really wanted to shine a light on certain characters that we don't usually see, whether in drawings or on video. And it also allows me to work on age diversity: I get to draw adult characters, even older ones, or even characters that I'm not used to drawing, like Gobelins.

As well as being fun, hogtober is also a big challenge that gets you out of your usual comfort zone, and that's what I love about it. It also allows me to work on my own characters, like Nimué who get her very first design ever !
