Cariad x Riz (Mc x Mc). Slight background Poppy x Sylvan

Summary: For a fun Friday night , the gremlins and significant others decide to go to the three broomsticks. They’re the gremlins so obviously chaos ensues

She’s only had two drinks. She can’t be drunk already, right? That’s a new breed of lightweight. But slurred speech and her obvious clinginess we’re her typical signs of intoxication. She clearly hadn’t inherited her fathers Irish drinking abilities.

“Mmm…Love you Riz….” She mumbled into his neck which she’d been previously kissing. “Darling, you’re drunk…”

Riz hadn’t drunk all night out of concern for his fiancé. She was naive, social, far more confident. But at least she was all over him and not wandering around anywhere. Poppy seemed to be having a similar situation with a very affectionate Sylvan. He was cuddling her tight and practically enveloping her small frame. Clearly he’d spent too long looking at them because Cariad had hauled herself into his lap (looking very proud of herself, almost like a toddler in their fathers lap) And smearing her lipstick all over his face in messy kisses. “C’m dance wiv me.” She said, her voice slurred but her eyes were surprisingly steady.

“Honey…I don’t want you to fall over…” he said gently, stroking her hair and twirling it around his gloved finger. She tugged his sleeve. “I won’t, I’ll be fine.” He said, sliding off his lap and pulling his hand. He sighed and let himself be dragged along. She put one hand on his shoulder and a gloved hand in the other. His hand found it’s way to her waist, mainly to keep her steady but she, for some reason, didn’t need it. He knew sober Cariad would almost definitely do this- she loved dancing. But drunk Cariad seemed a lot more confident in her actions. She was spinning and laughing and stroking his cheek. Eventually, she broke away from Riz and hopped onto a damn table. “My dear, get down from there.” Riz pleased, holding his arms out to catch her. But she didn’t listen. She may not have inherited her fathers heavyweightidness but she had certainly inherited his nack for Irish dancing. The girl was a natural. Her hair was falling out of its green ribbon pigtails, her hips swayed to the music and her heels clicked against the hard wood of the table. He was impressed. But he was still in charge of making sure she wasn’t hurt while she was in this state. He caught sight of Mildred running her finger across the rim of a cocktail glass with Ominis’ head on her shoulder.

Part of the bar was watching Cariad. He hated the way some men were whistling at her. God, he pitied Poppy- having to take care of both Sylvia and Sylvan while he was struggling to just take care of his beloved. When she neared the edge of the table, he swept her off her feet and scooped her bridal style into his arms. She immediately snuggled into him with a content smile before crashing and snoring softly into his coat. He saw Poppy sat in a booth, Sylvan snuggled into her and Sylvia sleeping on him. His lip quirked upward at the sight. Riz went to the counter and payed for the tab, everyone else had just payed as they’d drank, before herding up the gremlins and coaxing them out. Thank god that Poppy was a babysitter or else they wouldn’t have had enough kiddy leashes for everyone. Mildred didn’t exactly need one as she was tipsy, not drunk, but they’d decided it was best to put one on Sylvan, scared he’d wander. What they were more concerned about was how to manoeuvre the sleeping Sylvia and Ominis. Sylvan was leaning on Poppy. Mildred could try and have Sylvia lean on her. But that just left the blind slytherin boy. Riz sighed and cast Levioso on the boy so he’d drift behind them. They all left and crashed in the Room of Requirement (Riz had never been so grateful for Floo powder) and tucked the drunks into bed. Sylvan insisted on grabbing Poppy and pulling her into bed with him before cuddling her in a death grip. Riz carefully set Cariad down in bed and kissed her forehead.

“Goodnight my gorgeous love.” He whispered against her skin before caressing her cheek tenderly and retreating to his own bed, being a gentleman and not wanting to disturb his lover.

Why this man is so Teddy Bear. Istg he's straight up an all-rounder in balancing both the dark&dangerous archetype and the gentle sweetheart archetype. Your first impression is giving Dark Lord character why the little scenes I got after that are so cute and gentle? My guy, pick a struggle. I have only one heart and I don't need another pixel sweetheart owning it😭😭

I'm just one day into playing the game but if anything happens to this man in future chapters I'm gonna riot
