the more i learn abt hwang kwanghee's idol career the more bewildered i am.

i believe i saw him first as a host for weekly idol, I think the guest were either skz or nct dream

by that time I didn't think he was an idol, that he was their 2nd gen sunbae, I just thought that he was one of the many famed hosts and mcs of variety shows, thankful that he took care of the boys kindly

tHEN I went back to binging 'we got married'

and HIS NAME popped up

THERE I FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS AN IDOL

AND THAT HIS GROUP MEMBER IS IM SIWAN

whom I saw in run on and it was such a lovely drama with a lovely ost and mr im himself was lovely

this revelation was a bit of a wtflipping smokes moment subdued only by me being distracted about wgm

these two people? in the same group? who'd have thought!???

in my defense, I wasn't paying much attention when reading through siwan's career

back to WGM

it started off real awkward but man...

him and his 'wife', han sunhwa

I tell you those two just matched up really well

if someone was acting chaotically extroverted with me I would have let out an embarrassed laugh and went please stop I cannot match that energy or something like aren't you too much for this hour?

i think some couples on wgm are like that as well

foi pega totalmente desprevenida pela mensagem do seu manager, estava em uma sala de espera de um music show quando ele solta que você teria uma reunião na mbc no dia seguinte.

não dá mais detalhes, te deixa com uma pulga atrás da orelha. estava no meio de promoções de um comeback e você é seu grupo já tinham passado pelo music show da mbc.

quando o seu schedule da manhã finalmente termina, você e o seu manager seguem para a reunião misteriosa e acaba por descobri que ia participar da nova temporada de we got married depois de anos de hiatus do programa. não fica animada, tá mais para apreensiva, já tinha se envolvido em polêmicas de namoro no passado e não queria passar por isso de novo mas seu manager e o diretor do programa te convencem a participar.

a semana seguinte serviu para descobrir quem seria seu pair, foi a primeira coisa que gravaram para o programa. uma pequena "caça ao tesouro" mas ao invés de tesouro vocês descobriram com quem iam passar três meses casados. ficou um pouco chocada quando viu heeseung, tipo, não parecia real. se sentia até um pouco tonta, ele era impressionante. já ele abriu um sorriso enorme, feliz com quem teria que ficar grudado a partir de agora. você era a sunbae dele, e em diversas vezes ele te citou como uma inspiração então ficou muito feliz com isso. se cumprimentam um tanto acanhados, rindo da própria vergonha, é tudo meio estranho.a primeira coisa que fazem agora que estão juntos é uma sessão de q&a para se conhecerem melhor, discutem suas cores favoritas, músicas e até tem um momento mais nerd quando falam de filmes de super-heróis.

a semana seguinte já é o casamento — que é falso, mas ele prefere fingir que é real. quando você aparece pela porta daquele lugar enorme onde estão fazendo a cerimônia ele acha que vai chorar — como se realmente estivesse casando com a mulher da sua vida —, sorri como um bolo e assim que você chega ao lado dele, ele não vai parar de te elogiar. "você tá muito bonita ____." o lee sussurra no seu ouvindo, fazendo você rir.

antes mesmo de se mudarem para o apartamento que teriam que viver pelo próximo trimestre vão para uma pequena viagem pela Itália, visitam pontos turísticos e algumas cidades do interior e como era verão europeu terminaram a viagem em uma cidadezinha praiana. ele te elogia bastante durante a viagem, sempre te deixando envergonhada com ele todo envolvido mesmo nesse lance de "marido e mulher".

quando voltaram para a coreia já estavam um tanto mais próximos, ele ficou mais grudento. com uma cama só no quarto que teria que dividir, se acostumou com ele te abraçando pela madrugada, sussurrando o quanto você cheira bem, também acostumou com os abraços repentinos quando estavam na cozinha — geralmente ele te abraçava por trás, te chamando para ir dormir.

uma das atividades que mais gostaram de fazer como um casal foram os piqueniques, geralmente eram só vocês dois no quintal da casinha que estavam ficando durante os três meses de programa, depois fizeram um com os companheiros de grupo.

sua parte favorita do programa foi a sessão de fotos do pré-wedding, você estava com um vestido esvoaçante e curto, não era branco e sim off-white, ele estava com um terno mais "casual", azul royal. heeseung não conseguiu parar de olhar para você, os fãs fizeram até um compilado de todas as vezes que ele te chamou de "bonita" nesse episódio.

o momento que ele mais gostou no programa não foi um específico, mas a experiência toda, principalmente a parte de morar com você. ele amou decorar a casinha com você, amou poder ter momentos em família — com você, os membros do enhypen e as membros do seu grupo —, os momentos antes dos dois caírem no sono. tudo isso foi muito especial para ele.

desenvolveram sentimentos um pelo outro, além da admiração, julgaram ser amor mas parece ser algo mais além também. definitivamente não queriam se separar, então quando os três meses passaram ficaram um pouco emotivos. organizaram o último piquenique, na verdade tava mais para um churrasco, chamaram todos que eram importantes para cada um e até mesmo o pessoal da produção. comeram, se declararam indiretamente e dançaram bastante ao som de um jazz suave do seu toca discos.

com toda certeza foi uma temporada que o fãs do programa nunca vão esquecer, foi a que julgaram ser a mais romântica. ainda deu para fazer um stage especial no music core.

mesmo depois de um tempo não superaram a "separação", ainda mantém contato, dessa vez começando de baixo: como amigos.

T-ara Eunjung Heraldpop Interview ③

T-ara was a groundbreaking group that debuted through MBC's Radio Star. Reflecting on that time, Ham Eunjung shared,

"There were only two pages of script, and even the broadcasting station was very against it. We couldn't even get our greetings synchronized. It was only when each member took turns doing talent shows that people started to get to know who we were. Our debut was really chaotic, but we were told, 'You need to be harshly criticized and debut under pressure, even from outsiders.' We felt that debuting under protection wouldn't have worked against the bigger idol groups from major agencies,"

Ham Eunjung also mentioned how she feels when she sees 2nd-generation idols making a comeback and the actors she worked with back then.

"When 2nd-gen idols make a comeback, I feel envious and think they look amazing. In 2012, during T-ara’s prime, I appeared on We Got Married on MBC and had a golden period. Meeting Baek Sunghyun and Lee Jangwoo again feels really nice. It’s like meeting old friends, and because we already know each other, there's no need to act superior. It's like a mutual recognition of each other."

Now 37 years old, Ham Eun-jung once dreamt of getting married at 40.

"Actors who were former idols seem to hit a reset after getting married post-40 and enter a new phase of middle age. I think it’s because I’m such a workaholic. Marriage is important, but so is my current life. I want to build and prepare over the next three years and get married after I turn 40. I do worry about how my image might change once I’m married. Even now, when I play the role of a mother or a married woman, people question why I’m doing it when I’m single or suggest that I play younger roles to extend my career. But I don’t think that way. I can play roles that match my age. If I play these roles more now, people might think, 'Wasn't she already married?' when I do get married, so there will be less pressure later."

some thoughts abt teuk n sora

because i enjoyed being exposed to an overwhelming amount of sugar and dimples, apparently

watched the episodes a few years ago but my korean wasn't that good yet so i didn't really get into them

but these days my korean got better! so i know the gist of what they're doing, what's going on, what are they saying to flirt with each other etc. i ended up watching their cinema meeting part #1-#10 without realizing it and was so pleased at understanding 70% of their awkwardness!

i saw "sunny" but i didn't know it was sora! the more you get into hallyu i guess…

i was thinking that sora had such an innocent and youthful look about her, then i look her up and was like… oh it's a seven year gap! the only other i've seen having that much gap is between choi minyong and jang doyeon (8 years) which we'll talk about those two in another post!!

well that gap didn't matter either as leader teuk was so flustered around her 70% of the time lol
