Hi hi!! Could you please elaborate on Fujikane? I love the concept and I just need to know more about it!

OOO It started with the comic of Fuji loving convenient people

and thought to myself, who is the most convenient character in tbhk? Akane, and boom fujikane was born

Fuji is the exact type of person Akane attracts, like Aoi and Teru, he's popular, pretty, smart and you know an asshole (Akane's type fr)

And it's not like they don't hang out, often they are shown together, Fuji hangs out with Yamabuki at the school sleepover and even are refered to to them as friends by tsuchigomori, so they are part of the same friend circle and also part of the student council

To me their relationship is one-sided

With Fuji trying to use his charms on Akane to make him do his student council work for him, and failing at it miserably. Because Fuji is the type of person Akane dislikes, one that takes advantage of others, he only gets mean responses from him

Fuji gets so caught up on why his charms are not working on Akane to the point where he starts to pay a lot more attention to him to figure out what his deal is only to develop a crush over time.

We always see Fuji in the background and he usually nevers has a big reaction to supernatural events so I see Fuji as someone who is observant, but with a nonchalant attitude, so him being so caught up on Akane is driving him insane

Also at some point Fuji realizes Akane has the two most popular, smart and dateable boy and girl, Teru and Aoi, in the school infatuated with him, and now Fuji, who is also a popular, smart and dateable student among his classmates, is now on the same boat as Aoi and Teru. (Akane has caught them all)

tbh anon I started shipping this rarepair for funsies because slowly losing interest in tbhk and wanted to hold on to something
