MARK PETERS veröffentlicht VIDEO & TOUR

Der ursprünglich aus London stammende Singer-Songwriter MARK PETERS lebt mittlerweile in Wien. Nun präsentiert er im Januar 2019 seine neue EP ‚The Sum Of All Parts‘ (VÖ 28.1.) bevor er mit Band (Mark spielt auch einige SOLO shows) auf eine Europa Tournee aufbrechen wird.  Es reicht nicht aus den Londoner Mark Peters einfach als „Singer-Songwriter“ zu bezeichnen. Musiker wie ihn gibt es nicht oft. Seine Gitarren-Skills sind grandios und seine Songs bleiben einem noch lange nach Ende des Konzerts im Ohr. Zu seinen Einflüssen zählen Legenden wie Nick Drake oder Radiohead und neben Folk- und Jazz-Klängen hört man auch immer wieder Elemente aus dem Country, Blues oder sogar Funk. Mark ist ganz klar ein Musiker, der eine breite Hörerschaft anziehen kann. Mit dem Release seiner Debüt-EP „Spirits“ im Oktober 2017 hat der Musiker international beeindruckt und wurde mit Stars wie Damien Rice, Iron and Wine und Gitarrist Kaki King verglichen. Die EP wurde im Wiener Audio Heart Records Studio aufgenommen und von Dan Fisher produziert. Dabei wurden einige fabelhafte lokale Musiker mitbeinbezogen, was „Spirits“ das gewisse Etwas verlieh.

Die Veröffentlichung führte auch zur Formation von Marks aktuellem Projekt „Mark Peters and the Dark Band“. Gemeinsam arbeitete die Truppe an der neuen, im Jänner 2019 erscheinenden EP 'Sum of all Parts'. Anschlie��end geht das Quartett auf Tour durch Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz.
