I finally heard Kenshin say I love you to Mai. It sounded very sweet, but there was a long enough pause between "I love you" and "Mai" that I thought Miura forgot to say her name lololol

Mai had been anticipating this night for a while, having a successful opening of the ballet she'd been a part of always meant one thing. A party to celebrate her and everyone else who had made the opening such an amazing show. The biggest issue Mai had come across was when she learned the other girls were bringing dates. Mai dedicated her life to her craft, her parents had pushed her into this life and had made sure there was no room for her to have any type of distraction. This carried on well into her adult life, meaning when she did finally start dating they didn't tend to last long. She'd heard of people hiring escorts but Mai had almost quickly shut down the idea. Thinking it would be obvious that they weren't really a date. But one of her fellow dancers had told her that they tended to be good and believable so she took a chance and hired one. She'd felt pretty confident that this would be a good idea, hoped it would be. That was until she was waiting outside the venue for her date. She'd been standing outside for a while, glancing at the picture the company had sent to make sure she recognized her date, when Ricardo had walked up. Of all the people walking around this late at night he was not one she was expecting to see. "Ricardo, what are you doing here?"

' había sido tan abusadora que había ocupado un lugar sobre la cama y ahora revisaba una revista, sin enfocarse demasiado en el contenido. ' ¿o la pijamada que me prometiste era una vulgarrrrr mentira? ' frunce el ceño, pero sin despegar la vista de las imágenes. ' ¡ay! ¡quiero este kimono! '

la pregunta le toma un poco sorpresa cuando sospesando subirse hasta la copa del árbol frente a ella. con los brazos cruzados a la altura de su pecho y el ceño fruncido, dirige su mirada a su pronta compañía. "no... no, mai, me temo que no la he visto esta noche" y antes, si debe ser sincera, solo la ha vislumbrado a lo lejos. "¿temes que se la hayan llevado?" su mirada vuelve a dirigirse al árbol. lo piensa como un puente dado que se ubica junto a la muralla que delimita el parque. "si lo crees, tal vez deberías acompañarme a averiguar"

Desde el segundo piso, con manos puestas sobre la baranda, admira a los vástagos que se pasean en el nivel inferior. Eran momentos como aquel que imagina cómo sería controlar la dominación como Tatyana, su sire, y saber qué pasa por la cabeza de segundos, terceros, cuartos ⏤ "Vaya prueba de fortaleza nos ha presentado el príncipe." Es imposible no sonar irónico hablando de esa figura en específico, pero su semblante está inmóvil. "Sed, sueño, aburrimiento... paciencia. Por nuestro bien ¿no?" Se las arregla para casi sonar divertido con la situación.

"mira" anuncia, extendiéndolo en su diestra a la dirección contraria. "¿será el mapa a un tesoro?" aun en cuclillas, su ceño persiste, aun si su intención es bromear. @maigawa
