it would be so niche and i dont even know what id put in it, but ive finally finished listening to the blazing babe arc of naddpod + the short rests and im so tempted to like write the most terrible romance between mavrus and mac. i just think they could be even more worse for each other, their friendship is so toxic in canon and their romance would be even more so and thats why they should kiss about it imho peace and love on planet earth <333

HOW TO REMOVE "QUICK ACTIONS" button from Finder on a Monteray mac

in the FINDER WINDOW

click on anything that will give you a PREVIEW WINDOW

The section with the (…) "More…" is your "quick actions" bar.

RIGHT CLICK on this area

Choose "Show Preview Options"

This will pull up the Preview Options window

Untick "Show Quick Actions"

Be warned though, if this is the preview bar for an IMAGE FILE, the panel is significantly longer

And if you set your dock to be always visible…

Let's just say I'm DISPLEASED with knowing that Finder is incapable of adjusting windows for a visible dock.

For this, choose your APPLE MENU in the top left

Choose System Preferences

Choose "Dock and Menu bar" - it should be the third option in the top row

make sure you are on the "Dock & menu bar" option on the left

On the right, in the checkbox area, choose "Automatically hide and show the Dock". It should be the fourth option down in the checkbox area

Leave this window open so you can switch your preference back once you have gotten rid of your quick actions bar.

You may need to turn the Quick Actions off on multiple file types

Starting to be scared that I'm actually sick this time 😭😭😭 snotting up my mask and just in general feeling quite crummy. I have the weekend approaching at least, and if I have to I can skip my classes tomorrow (tho I don't WANT to 😭😭 for bowling at least). Would be better to rest if I do end up sick... gonna try to rest for the rest of today tho and we'll see. If I'm lucky this really will be just exhaustion symptoms. Given that I'm on 5 days of sleep deprivation, now. But also, 5 days of sleep deprivation while being subjected to the bitter cold the whole time...... ugh
