Specter AU

To atone and be cleared of his crime of murdering his foster father, Folker, Mime agrees to join Hades and his army of Specters. A deal is made and Mime is placed under the command of Garuda Aiacos, one of the 3 Judges. Mime’s personality has become more closed off than when he was alive, causing many of his so called ‘comrades’ to question his loyalty on more than one occasion. He finds time to play his lyre, his music resonating his guilt and heartbreak. Mime has yet to catch Pharaoh’s eye, which most would see as a miracle due to his jealousy of the Silver Saint, Lyra Orphee. Who he has been compared to on occasion due to both of them playing the lyre and having similar appearances.

About Cerberus being with Pharaoh - wasn't it that in mythology Cerberus loved Orpheus' music? So maybe this Cerberus was also drawn to Pharaoh's music, in a way. Or, you know, knew that Orphee would be coming round for Eurydice and stuff and it had nothing to do with Pharaoh himself. That's what I always thought but who knows.

I don’t know if Cerberus loved it, but I do know that Orpheus used his music to charm it. So... that could be the reason why Cerberus was there with Pharaoh, but it doesn’t convince me.  It could work if Orphée permanently stayed with Pharaoh and played his lyre while being there, but he only plays his music for Hades and Euridyce, so it’s not a good reason. 

So, I think your first opinion, Cerberus being drawn to Pharaoh’s music, is way more realistic in this case.  Maybe, if we look at mythology and see that Orpheus actually used the music against Cerberus, Pharaoh’s music is less “pure” and more “dark” in nature, so Cerberus could be naturally drawn to it without suffering any consequence. 

Still, to me it’s a stretch. I would have loved Cerberus to appear at the entrance of the Underworld. because it’s were he was supposed to be. The hound of Hades  was so far from his proper place that his entire purpose got thrown out the window, and that’s the main reason why I’m kinda still mad about it. 

But then again this is Saint Seiya, and if it’s possible to find an explanation for the disaster of its mythology, I am always here for it.
