I feel like I've posted her a lot but never really introduced her properly, so

Hiii this is Orphée, my main and beloved Ni no Kuni oc. She's a wizard who resides in the Tombstone Trail and rarely ever really left it. (Excuse my lorebending I do that often) Shadar decided to keep her around and raised her to be a one-woman equivalent to the great sages, as to help protect the world in the way he wanted to.

Even after the events of nnk, Orphée still isn't really sure Why people didn't like Shadar or why what he did was bad, as she always knew it as him protecting the world. She still doesn't use the Bad magic though, she knows people would get upset if she did.

Orfeo surrealista

El mito de Orfeo y Eurídice también ha sido representado en el séptimo arte. Concretamente, me voy a centrar en la película Orfeo (Jean Cocteau, 1950), que reinterpreta el mito clásico en clave onírica y surrealista.

En la visión clásica del mito, Orfeo baja al inframundo a rescatar a Eurídice, su esposa. Cocteau adapta esta historia desde una perspectiva más simbólica y psicológica. En la película, Orfeo no solo va al inframundo para rescatar a Eurídice de la muerte, sino que también establece una relación con la propia muerte, quien aparece personificada como una especie de princesa y que actúa como mediadora entre el mundo de los vivos y el más allá.

La influencia del movimiento surrealista se aprecia a lo largo de toda la película, aunque es especialmente visible en los momentos en los que Orfeo se obsesiona con los misteriosos mensajes emitidos por una radio. Estos mensajes pueden ser entendidos como la representación de la voz del inconsciente, que es uno de los elementos claves del surrealismo.

En conclusión, Orfeo de Cocteau es una película que, tomando como referencia el mito clásico de Orfeo y Eurídice, trasciende el relato griego original y lo trae a la actualidad, ofreciendo además una nueva reflexión acerca del arte, la muerte y la existencia humana.
