There's a small easter egg in today's Peregrine Lake that you may have missed. On the wall in the guest room of Lynn and Megan's cabin, there's a photo from their wedding. For UnCONventional readers, this should look incredibly familiar - because it's Ethan's (@wistfolie's) redraw of one of my favorite moments from the entirety of that comic (as well as the cover to the Chapter Six book). I specifically asked Ethan if we could have that as a "photo" in Lynn and Megan's cabin, and they did not disappoint. I gave them the original art layers - which is why you'll notice the background is still the altered photo from the original image. And I just... I just love it. One of the most amazing things about working with Ethan on Peregrine Lake has been seeing the things I imagine realized in a style so different from my own (and with so much more skill than I have myself). It's just amazing. That's all I really have to say. I just wanted to share this weird tiny detail with y'all because it makes me happy.

Conspiracy/question:

Why did Baxter show up without Sandra Lynn? Did Bobby Dawn hurt it come after Sandra Lynn? Is Baxter coming to help or coming to get help? I’m so worried for Sandra Lynn. What if Baxter is coming to get Jawbone because he knows Jawbone can help and truly cares for Sandra Lynn? Or Baxter is just scouting for Sandra Lynn, but I don’t trust Brennan.

I wholeheartedly believe that Baxter hates Bobby Dawn. Has ever since the moment they met. A real "trust the animals" situation. Sandra Lynn hadn't been Baxter's handler for long enough to fully understand why he hated Bobby so much, so she disregarded it, trying her best not to let them interact too much. When Bobby kicked her to the curb, she finally realised why Baxter hated him so much, and now relies on Baxter's input whenever she meets somebody new. (Baxter LOVES Jawbone. Absolutely dotes on him. Is almost as excited to see him as he is to see Sandra Lynn herself)

okay so baxter is flying alone in the preview we see mazey corrupted by a rage star or smth. or by porter. i dont know if she dies and gets starred but i doubt it. my thought process is what if its not just mazey. what if it's other people with justified rage.

like rage against a past abuser. like rage against the man who destroyed your adventuring career after manipulating you for a year. like sandra lynn's hurt and rage and fear towards bobby dawn.

baxter is trying to get fig because her mom got corrupted, not because she's dead.
