I wonder how many times Luke had to hear: "If only Bridger was here" during the preparations for the death star assault. Because like, Ezra and Kanan were the Jedi of the rebellion before Luke was. Did anyone even know that Luke had the force in the New Hope, because he barely knew himself.

Surely the rest of the rebellion wished that Ezra was still there, because he would have extremely valuable asset for the in the battle of Yavin, because he was a Jedi.

If he would have been there, he would have been one of the most vocal points of the plan. Luke succeeded because ghost Obi Wan told him to use the force, if Ezra would have been there, the plan would have been using the force in the first place. Just like during Secret Cargo, where Ezra used the force to defeat the tie defender, or during the battle Atollon when it had to be Ezra to be the one to find the way to escape to get help, because he was a jedi and had the best chance.

Luka obviously would have been the better pilot, since he has the genes, but Ezra was part of one of the founding cells of the rebellion. He had close relatioships with both Mom Mothma and Leia.

Like it or not, he also was the more advanced Jedi at the time. Ezra was finding news aspects of the force, getting rid of the one the most dangerous imperial officers and resisting Palpatines tenptation while Luke was farming moisture and wanting to join the imperial army.

Luka was Rebellion's jedi savior only because Ezra wasn't around and Kanan was dead. This is a hot take, but true if you search your feelings.

I wonder how much Luke knew about Ezra. Through some book, we know that he something of Kanan, probably from Hera, but what about Ezra and why he wasn't with the rebellion anymore.

I am honestly hoping so much that they meet in the Ahsoka show

Early seasons dean winchester and obi-wan kenobi have essentially the same standom i think. Like their trauma is generic enough to project onto heavy like oh i wanna be a good little soldier so daddy loves me lets repress our homosexuality and get weird about our brotherboyfriendsonbestfriend

Halloween Costume OC Tag Game

🎃 What would your OCs dress as for Halloween and why?

Well, it just so happens Icing Called Off has a Halloween chapter/scenes! Most of the guys went as characters from franchises they like (which is the majority of the whys), and the rest went as just fun group costumes.

James and Teddy went as Sherlock Holmes and John Watson respectively.

Brayden, Noah, and Jeremy went as Star Wars characters. Jeremy went as Luke Skywalker, Noah went as Han Solo, and Brayden went as Princess Leia (wig with buns and all).

Gabe and Colby went and Batman and Superman, both in super tight spandex suits.

Freddie went as Freddie Mercury, Dom went as Elton John (or Elton ‘Dom’), and Liam was Michael Jackson from the Thriller video.

Adam and Oliver went as Cristof and Sven from Frozen because Oliver’s last name is Svennson.

Elijah was an astronaut and Stephen and Chris were aliens.

Mickey and Marcus were Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Nikolai and Lukas were Donald and Daisy Duck, Jackson was Goofy, and Sam was Pluto.

Good to know that Vali and Leia are still besties despite Anakin being a horribly UREPENTANT man here 🗣️ It’s also showing how much they rely on each other—it must be hard for both Luke and Leia to watch and know that everything fell apart since that day, and that their parents are actively doing they’re best to hurt the other party

Leia and Vali are BFF goals, though. They do everything together, and Vali would absolutely kill to keep Leia safe, and knows that Leia would do the same for her.

Vali tilts her head back to stare up at the older man towering over her, "This is your fault." Anakin Skywalker hisses at the actual child, his fingers twitching slightly. "I am not the person who forced you to abandon the children in your care in a mountain without doing your due diligence to ensure that we would be safe." Vali counters, effortlessly channeling Ba'vodu Cody and Ba'vodu Neyo. "My wife is leaving me." He spits. "I am hardly responsibly for the actions of a grown woman." Vali replies. "You-" "Father? What are you doing?" Leia asks from the door, Luka standing at her shoulder. Luke looks from Anakin, to Vali, and then back to his father, "Are you threatening her?" He asks, no accusation in his voice. "I believe he was about to reach for his lightsaber," Vali says, sounding bored out of her mind. "You...what?" Leia asks, sprinting into the room and placing herself between Vali and her father, "Why?!" "She's the reason-" "You're the reason!" Luke and Leia shout in unison. "Stop blaming Vali for your actions!" Leia shouts. Anakin sighs, and pinches the bridge of his nose, "You've even turned my own children against me." He snaps at Vali. Vali absently wipes a smudge off her prosthetic arm, "You hardly need my help to do that. You're pushing them away on your own." Anakin grips his lightsaber, "You-" "Father!" Luke and Leia shout, flinging themselves over Vali. "Careful." Vali's voice is colder than Hoth, and the three Jedi stop moving. "Have you never considered why I'm so calm, General?" "It's because you're cocky-" "You're standing in the middle of the Clone Creche." Vali says scornfully, before she flicks her fingers up, "And my family just replaced their blasters with slug throwers." "Wait-" "If you so much as twitch your finger towards the power button, you're going to find yourself full of holes." Vali says, sounding bored out of her mind, "Also, Master Kenobi is here." Anakin turns just in time to see Obi-Wan and Mace Windu charge into the room, looking thunderous.

Wesley and Lukas sharing the same Shadow number and codename. Brothers follow each other's footsteps, after all.

Wesley doesn't know it's handed down to him until he's called by his CO, given his details. The loss of his brother is still fresh, only weeks passed.

"We don't usually do this sort of thing, son."

Why would they? Isn't it a hazard?

"As far as we know, you're just Wesley to them. All we need you to be is you."

Is he bait? A tactic to keep an enemy guessing? It was all locked and classified for him, but he saw his brother's mangled body. Why would it be anything more?

"All due respect, sir, but am I your bait dog?"

"No, son. You're carrying that name with pride. It's for your brother. He would've wanted that much."

Oh. Oh, yeah. Maybe he would've. Luke always wanted to hand something down, he didn't made it long enough to hand it down to his own children, it was Wesley instead.

The name is heavy, full of expectations and the occasional silent grievance with others. He can't fill the shoes he's been trying to copy his entire life. It wasn't a game anymore when he didn't come back home living and breathing.

But he carries it with the respect it deserves. Strong shoulders bearing the weight. He'll carry it all like Luke did for him. It's his turn now.

He knows what the name is referencing. The one and only Luke Skywalker. Their COs at the time just didn't let Skywalker stick.. so it was 'Walker' instead. Lukas carried it proudly, so Wesley did too.
