I’m rewatching Labyrinth and I already know I’m going to make this about Tim Drake.

Bruce gets Damian as a baby, and makes Tim watch him while he goes out on the more dangerous missions.

Tim throws a fit and says the whole ‘Ugh, I wish someone would just take you far away from me!’ bit and then League assassins kidnap Damian.

Tim tracks down Ra’s and threatens him and Ra’s tells him, “Ah, but Detective… I’m doing you a favor. I heard you, you know. Just think how much better life will be when you don’t have to worry about taking care of my grandson.”

“…I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but I really need my brother back.”

Ra’s stares at him for a few moments. “How disappointing. I suppose you’ll just have to find him, then.”

And that’s the last thing Tim remembers before waking up in the labyrinth. He walks forward for a few moments before he sees a figure training with a sword in a courtyard.

The figure turns and Tim spots bright green eyes and a streak of white in a head of black.

“Oh, Replacement. It’s you.”

Something very random and kind of sweet I was thinking of was boardgames at Wayne Manor. Once Martha and Thomas died, they kind of got tossed aside or locked up in their old room, untouched for years until Dick Grayson showed up. And Bruce digs out this half rotted away bits and pieces set of Ludo or something and they invent some of the tokens needed. As more and more kids join up, the pieces get swapped and changed and some are bits of gadgets, or touristy knickknacks. Everyone has a favourite colour and very particular alliances and the mishmash boardgame has a place in Bruce's study where everyone knows to find it.

you know, I don't think Toffee ever actually had Ludo kill someone, every time he weighed in on the subject of killing, it was to tell him not too, I can only think of one exception to this(the group of children that get levitated) and even then Toffee just said they were off key, levitating the kids was purely Ludo's decision.

RE: Ludovica's girlfriend, I've been picturing her like my childhood dog. A solid coat might look nice against Ludovica's spots. My old girl had black fur with a strong brown undertone. She was a rescue (and the sweetest, calmest lady), but according to a DNA test (which I know aren't the most reliable) she was a Labrador Retriever / American Staffordshire Terrier / Chinese Shar Pei mix. She just passed recently. I guess that might be part of the reason I have this strong mental image. Hope you don't mind me sharing!

I think I maintain that Zojja would have been better served by bringing her back during season 4. They didn't HAVE to have her kidnapped like Taimi (that was their original idea; they didn't do it because they'd just had the Taimi Kidnapping).

But Taimi's kidnapping COULD have been used as a way to bring her back.

Number one, Joko leads into what will eventually be our final fight with Kralkatorrik, the very dragon that Destiny's Edge sought to destroy in their ill-fated adventure. Number two, Taimi is her ward and her apprentice. There's no way she wouldn't have rushed in to have our EARS for her getting caught in all that.

Struggling with a sense of place, with the echoes and pains of the past, with letting Taimi grow up and letting herself grieve and heal. And getting to be present to see the end of the very thing that led her mentor to his own death so many years before.

It also means she gets to be there during Legacy, to hear Snaff's voice one last time, and to have him finally let her let go.
