I’m rewatching Labyrinth and I already know I’m going to make this about Tim Drake.
Bruce gets Damian as a baby, and makes Tim watch him while he goes out on the more dangerous missions.
Tim throws a fit and says the whole ‘Ugh, I wish someone would just take you far away from me!’ bit and then League assassins kidnap Damian.
Tim tracks down Ra’s and threatens him and Ra’s tells him, “Ah, but Detective… I’m doing you a favor. I heard you, you know. Just think how much better life will be when you don’t have to worry about taking care of my grandson.”
“…I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but I really need my brother back.”
Ra’s stares at him for a few moments. “How disappointing. I suppose you’ll just have to find him, then.”
And that’s the last thing Tim remembers before waking up in the labyrinth. He walks forward for a few moments before he sees a figure training with a sword in a courtyard.
The figure turns and Tim spots bright green eyes and a streak of white in a head of black.
“Oh, Replacement. It’s you.”

3 characters I associate with you are: your girl Eva (shh, I still think about her, so she counts), Killer Croc, and Ludo.
What 3 fictional characters do you associate with me
Oh snap. I’m surprised you actually remember Eva, let alone think about her to this day? ;;; That warms my heart tbh.  But damn I’m happy to see Killer Croc and her both mentioned, and you know I’m always happy to see Ludo makes people think of me. ;w;

Before this show the only “Ludo” I had ever heard of was the board game. And it wasn’t a very good board game.
1. I have a running “Ludo is the rightful king” theory. King of what, though, is open for interpretation. We do know that he’s at least a prince! And also a magical girl~
2. I kept drawing Ludo too…chunky? So I asked @hug-bees to give me a few pointers - which she did on this page.
3. Toffee’s gotta have something to wear at the country club. And Buff Frog’s a dad now, so he should wear dad shirts.
4. Horrible fashion sense
5. I’m sure that Buff Frog wears crocs. He must.
6. This is from a project I’m working on - hopefully I can have it finished before the premiere on Saturday.
7. And the (literal) punchline.
8. Ludo channeling some Chaplin a la “The Great Dictator.”
9. And then, Ludo got an idea. An awful idea. Ludo got a wonderful, awful idea!

Out In The Open
Ludo and Toffee had both been at the castle for a few weeks now. The young kappa quite pointedly refused to be out wandering if he knew Toffee was anywhere nearby. No amount of coaxing of ‘he won’t hurt you, Ludo’ would get the bird to unlock the door. With his wand gone so was his bravery against a beast that had traumatized and rather, psychologically tortured him.
Ludo contemplated just going back in the void; this castle hardly had the use for two monsters, but he didn’t...want to be alone after everything had happened. The castle was the only place he could always guarantee healthy food and a warm place to sleep. He couldn’t let the miserable croc chase him out of another home. He wasn’t destroying his life again. Ludo needed to confront these feelings.
But he wasn’t doing that defenseless. Paranoia had the chick tuck a small dagger into his pocket just in case Toffee decided to pull something. Ludo advanced slowly and nervously from the castle court yard, making his way to the...tree Toffee was obsessed with for some reason.

Labyrinth (1986):  A film about letting go of childish things  that was so impactful  Millions who saw it as kids still love it  Well into middle age
lyrics
I wish they WOULD come and take you away, right now.  I wish the goblins WOULD come and take you away,  RIGHT NOW.
I had a dream I could find my way to the centre of the Labyrinth. Dance Magic Dance! and when it’s time to pay the piper, I’d just hide away in a quiet place. Try and escape; I didn’t realize for days that I was wide awake.  In dire straits, I tried to wake up. Am I on stage? I didn’t recognize the face behind the make-up; I am fake. Frightened of what lies in wait, I spy a face in an iron gate. It lies and I can’t break through it but I’m not going to take its advice - no way!  Helping hands cling and surround, talk, and shapeshift into mocking faces; bringing me down. There’s no place like home? That’s just hot air! Trapped and I don’t know how I got there, “It’s not FAIR!”  Go undercover deeper. Guess I need a plan. Am I my brother’s keeper? Yes, it seems I am. Speaking of lost boys; I am Peter Pan - when I fall I Never Land, but the clock stays ticking like the croc that ate a severed hand.
[hook]
SMELL BAD. Bogged down. Something is wrong, I make that summoning rocks sound. I swear revenge. Ludo says, “Sarah Friend!” These are the people who really love me, but they’re pretend. Where’s it end, I wonder? I’m too scared to calm down, but I keep my head while others lose theirs all around.  I was mistaken to ask you. You put a brake to the axle, but if I’d gone “that way, she’d have gone straight to their castle!”  Thanks, asshole. My patience is taxed, this maze is unnatural. I race at my maximum pace, but I’m back in the actual place I was trapped like an animal! Scrambling panicked, I crawl into a passageway or try to jump.  Goblin King or Garbage Lady, I’m captivated by the junk!  I have today to find the baby I angrily gave these guys. After that, he stays behind in the maze inside my crazy mind. Wow, kids these days! You remind me of the babe, don’t misbehave - just do as I say and I will be your slave!
[hook]
Through dangers untold and hardships too high to number, I’ve fought my way to the castle beyond the Goblin City for my brother. Give me the infant that you have stolen through my blunder!  Will he ever forgive me? I wonder.  Look. Faeries bite. Beasts are friends. Jareth’s right. I should never reach the end. I could eat the peach and surrender to dream of masquerades, but I’ve seen what matters, and after that?  A Labyrinth’s a piece of cake!
For my will is as strong as yours,  and my kingdom is as great.  ~  You have no power over me!
