Girl we cannot keep meeting like this. How many times do I have to reply to your different blogs and call you a scammer before you delete or get deleted? Do you cycle through the same script every time or like let it settle for a few months before trying again? Like I'm so curious. I feel close at this point.

Because they'll remove my callout on the post (but they can't remove the reblogs themselves!) and it won't be visible to people in the notes... so it's best to get the word out.

^Stolen from here. If you look at the blog's post, you can see that I had screenshotted it when the post was ten hours old and immediately the person had started spamming others with asks. The url is slightly off of a terminated one I had been alerted to (thank you as always!!!!)

Here's a copy of the ask, you can see that this url here (terminated, as are others) is extremely similar to the currently active (as of posting) url.

Scammers often remake with nearly identical urls, I am not 100% sure why, maybe because if they remake they can make you think it's not remade? But anyway, yeah, they tend to stick to some kind of "branding" for each scam they run.

As of posting, the name being used on the paypal fundraiser is Lucy Mukira. I have checked, and that is NOT the paypal the person on twitter (whom I have no reason to suspect and twitter is out of my department unless you-know-who is involved never mind i kept forgetting to edit this and they ARE suspicious) is using.

Not sure if you keep tabs on all scammers, or just that one + the ones who impersonate Palestinians, so you can ignore this if you want.

I just got an ask from "loudlovereagle", an obvious scam. They claim to be black and disabled (and maybe homeless?), but their account was created yesterday and they're sending asks, begging for donations. Thought I'd share.

Thank you so much for this info. Yes, @loudlovereagle IS a scammer and have been listed on @kyra45's scam list, but I still appreciate the heads up. I'm publishing your ask if that's ok so other people can see and be made aware. Here is the ask that the scammer is spamming people with:

The scammer is using the paypal name 'Lucy Mukira'. Please be on the lookout for other supposed fundraisers that is using that name.

interesting how the oldest post on your tumblr is only 2 days old, btw 👩🏾‍💻 if you're going to scam people, make sure you don't re-use profile pictures or people are going to find them in a reverse image search leading to your last scam, or the real person you're pretending to be lmfao.

I got an inbox message from the user @pyschiccandycollectioanye the message goes as is:

When checking out their account you will soon come to realize their donation link simply leads to a PayPal link and not a gofundme. Here is the link to prove so:

This name is not mentioned or used anywhere on the account. However, I did find a linktree with a similar name and pfp:

Here is the PFP they are using. I have added a filter to avoid being flagged.

This person is a known scammer and in the past has used the scam of being a Palestinian citizen to garner monetary donations. Please look into any accounts that send anything to your inbox with the request of donations of any kind.

The best you can do about this situation is to report them and their account and their PayPal and not interact if possible. For more information I recommend user (@)kyra45 ‘s posts about the situation.

you know, I found it very amusing that your donation link is tied to a person named "Lucy Mukira", while the same image you're using on your blog is also found on a twitter created in 2023, from someone who claims to be a jobless mom named "Aska", whose donation links are tied to an individual named "Shadrack Muchuka"

An here we have the perfect example of a scam blog! Let's go over why shall we. First thing: this person isn't following me, nor am I following them, yet Here is the ask! I also very rarely boost donation posts in general. Secondly! Pinned post is a fundraiser post from two days ago!

Also from two days ago? Every single reblog on the account. Every last one! All from popular tags and with little connection.

Third! Replies on the pinned post have been hidden, EXCEPT the one from someone saying that they would be using multiple blogs for visibility?

Forth! Title is a popular civil rights slogan, while the actual bio remains completely empty. No real personal information.

Fifth and lastly! The paypal link is for a 'Lucy Mukira' Known on tumblr for setting up scam blogs to get money out of well meaning people.

it seems @lovelypurplenacho is spamming random blogs with asks for donation requests, there are already some published ones when you search this username if their wording gives anything away to y'all. the posts on that blog don't date back any further than march. the paypal account is for "Lucy Mukira"

your account is 4 days old with no posts since then, no information about you, just unrelated reblogs on art without tags. the fundraiser link is to a paypal page, which means drawbacks are going to be pretty difficult.

the fundraising link leads to someone named lucy mukira, but when i reverse image searched your icon, it leads to someone on twitter named askafarao with the same icon. they're posting donation links too in random people's mentions, with their paypal name being shadrack muchuka.

of course i feel horrid to hear of anybody going through something like that, but you've given me no reason to trust you aren't a scammer. and if you are? shame on you.

@delicatesublimelizaddrdy Hello PayPal Username Lucy Mukira this is at LEAST the third blog you’ve burned through with this exact scam in the past month. It’s not hard to find this exact prompt in the tumblr search function as well as the name being used on PayPal. Do better.
