“You are forgiven and I do understand your reasoning.” She cannot find it in herself to be mad at him for long.

Eyeing him as he speaks of the Exorcist, she can’t help but feel some doubt that the angel wouldn’t go back to her superiors the first chance she got. “In what ways, might I ask?”

She tensed, promptly straightening up. Lucifer only confirmed that the growls of her hunger were audible enough for him to hear.

"I'm fine..." Aurelia insisted, chancing a look at him over her shoulder. "It's...it is nothing I am not used to." She said, carefully dodging his question. Of course, she was hungry. She was able to deal with for most of her life, but now that she what is was like to be full...to taste angelic flesh...It made her starvation that much worse.

"Now, please, go torment someone else, Devil." Aurelia hissed, narrowing her eyes at him.

“..My my…What a poor soul you are, walking among the cold depths of Earth like this.”

The voice was quiet, but sudden, within the cold, frosty air of the Earth’s deep dark night sky. The moon shone down, thankfully lighting up Aurelia’s surroundings with white, almost heavenly shine, showing off the thickets of spiny brambles, dead, yellowed grass, and leafless trees that surrounded them in the depths of the forest clearing she stood in. His voice was the only indication that he was there. But he was indeed there. Standing there, behind her, his porcelain white skin glimmering in the glow of the moon’s embrace, his golden blonde hair, the two rosy red spots on his cheeks that was said to mark where God Himself had kissed his most beautiful creation in adoration, standing out brilliantly among the darkness that otherwise surrounded them. He wore nothing, letting her see the whole of his skin, bare for her to see.

His eyes glowed a sickly yellow, a heavy unnatural glow, his pupils thin obsidian slits, like the eyes of the serpent who’s skin he wore to commit the most grievous of all treason. And he was smiling softly, a grin full of sharp, deadly looking fangs, staring at her with a gaze that looked all the world like he was eager to see her in such a miserable state. Like a snake, coming across a freshly wounded mouse.

“…Are you alone, dear?”

Aurelia gasped and spun around. Her eyes widened when she gazed upon his visage. The traitor, they had called him. The Lord of All Evil. The Devil. “Y-you are…” Her gaze flickered down, to where it landed upon his……yeah. 

“YOU’RE NAKED!” She screeched, using her robes to cover her eyes and spun around to where her back was facing him again. “I–have you no shame!?” He’s the Devil, of course he has no shame! She scolded herself. That’s exactly what they warned her and the other angels about!

Even with how his features had changed slightly after his Fall, she still found him to be just as beautiful when she first caught a glimpse of him in Heaven all those years ago. 

“I–I have nothing for you. P-please just leave me in p-peace.” She stammered. Just after taking on step forward, her stomach gurgled loudly. Her hand flew to her stomach, and she doubled over slightly, wincing at the all-too familiar sharp pangs of hunger.
