Reader( human) is a sweet girl who works for lucien. (She gives him blood and all that) so when klaus is at Luciens apartment he meets reader and she is kinda scared of him but still gives him blood and a drink and all that stuff since lucien told her too. Klaus notices that she doesn't wanna be there so he tries getting closer to her. When he and his family fought lucien he goes back to the apartment and convinces her to come with him. Please with fluffy smut. How they have sex or why or what happens with them when she goes with him is completely up to you.
Triggering content, including physical and sexual abuse but ultimately a happy ending!!

My Darling.
Klaus knew something was off with Lucien.
The timing of his arrival alone was suspicious and now a prophecy? Everything was...strange and calculated but Klaus knew how to play.
When he stepped foot into his old friend's apartment, he could feel her presence. He knew someone else was there but he certainly wasn't expecting Lucien to start clicking his fingers and a girl to literally come running.
Lucien had a smug grin on his face when she immediately kneeled in front of him and held out her wrists on his lap. Klaus felt his jaw clench at the thick smell of fear rolling off her.
"This is Klaus, Klaus meet Y/N. She's my...what do we call you, love? Hm?" Lucien was taunting her and her humiliation was obvious.
"A pet, sir." She whispered and flinched when his hand roughly patted her head.
"That's right. Now come here and sit on my dear friend's lap. Give him a drink." He ordered and she quickly nodded.
Klaus felt his eyes go wide when she immediately straddled his lap, sitting right on top of his crotch and holding out her arm. Lucien laughed and shook his head.
"Your neck." He corrected and Klaus felt her tense before moving her hair to the side and shifting to press the side of her throat to his mouth.
Now Klaus could have refused but the way Lucien was staring at him, waiting him to drink, daring him. It made him comply and sink his teeth in. Her blood was a beautiful consistency and an addictive taste as he swallowed down a series of mouth falls. After a moment he found that he had closed his eyes at some point and so reopened them when pulling away. A surprised grunt left him when he felt her hips move, he looked down to see her dry humping his growing erection and his grip on her hips went tight, trying to stop her.
"She's excellent, go on love give him a blow job." He commanded and she started to undo his belt but Klaus grabbed her hands.
"That's...not necessary." He cleared his throat and Lucien raised a brow before shooting her a glare.
"You heard him, get off." He told her and she quickly got off Klaus and onto Lucien, hugging his midsection tight.
"I'm sorry." She whimpered, tone pleading. Lucien rolled his eyes and turned back to Klaus, ignoring the petrified girl on his lap.
They got back to the prophecy, though Klaus's attention kept drifting back to Y/N. Poor little thing looked adorable and yet he couldn't think about how cute she was when she was literally shaking and apologising religiously under her breath.
"Is she compelled?" He asked, curious and completely blanking everything Lucien had just said.
"No." Lucien stated simply and sighed, getting annoyed with her clinginess. "She isn't compelled, she just knows her worth." He spat, shoving her back to the floor and having her kneel back down on the carpet, being a quiet as possible to he wouldn't get angry.
Klaus swallowed thickly. Silently he nodded so that he wouldn't say anything out of line that would cause things to escalate. Instead he got things back on track and pulled the attention away from her.
When he left, he felt a little concerned for what would happen to her once she was alone with Lucien.
The hybrid didn't have the opportunity to go over often, only occasionally but on those occasions he would watch her. He fed from her each time but never let it go as far as Lucien tried to push her.
On the dreaded day that Klaus was held hostage on Lucien's apartment, Y/N was beyond skittish. It was clear that Aurora didn't like her. She despised the human even more when she noticed Klaus's gaze linger a second too long when the girl had come scrambling in with the vervain Aurora had demanded.
The second Klaus looked back at Aurora, he knew he'd made a mistake. the redhead and Y/N by the hair, dragging her to Klaus and holding her up, too high for her toes to touch the ground. Cries bled from her mouth but Klaus kept silent and just glared, knowing that should he speak, it would only make it worse.
Klaus had been quick to get out of those chains and out of that home, too quick to save the poor girl who lay bloody and bruised on the tiles of the kitchen floor.
However he did not forget about her.
As soon as Lucien was dead and the others were rid of, he went back for her. It took a couple witches to get inside but once he did, he tried calling out for her.
"Y/N?" he yelled but in a gentle sort of tone so it didn't scare her. "It's Klaus- are you...oh" His words died down when he opened a door.
She was in the bathtub, no water but she was lead in a puddle of her own blood. Her neck had a fat chunk missing and she was bleeding rapidly, her skin had dulled and her heart was slow.
Urgently, Klaus moved to get her up and out.
"I'm sorry." She uttered when she felt someone pick her up.
Klaus frowned to himself and laid her down on the couch. He pushed her hair aside, grimacing a little when it pulled away from the dry blood attached to her skin.
"I need you to drink from my wrist." He told her and she wasn't in any position to disagree so when the metallic taste pressed to her lips, she took it down with ease. "Good girl." Klaus whispered, nodding to himself and her as he made sure that her wounds healed.
Once she stopped drinking he cupped her sweet face.
"How long have you been in there?" He asked and she sniffled.
"Lucien...he was angry and I- I didn't do good." She whimpered and he frowned.
"He bit you? Love, its been three days since I killed him-" He told her but noticed her flinch and he tilted his head. "Love-" He tried but she let out a frightened cry. Klaus took a pause and realisation settled over him. Lucien had called her 'love'.
"It's alright." He whispered, carefully shifting to pick her up. "I'm going to bring you to my home, get you something you like to wear...something to eat? I bet the bastard didn't even feed you." He mumbled, frowning and stroking her hair. Y/N didn't utter a word, just let him take her away.
Y/N was still a little afraid but no where near as afraid as she was of Lucien so she ignored the pit in her stomach. Klaus took her home and sat her down by the fireplace. "There you go...sweetheart." He whispered, hesitating on the nickname and watching for a negative response. She shifted uncomfortably and he made a mental note. Klaus had forgotten that Lucien had tried so hard to be just like him, same accent, same vocabulary, same style, same tactics. It pissed him off to no end but now it was actually hurting someone.
Klaus sighed to himself and scratched the back of his neck. "I'll be back." He murmured, flashing off before returning with a chocolate twist from the nearby bakery. "I bet you like chocolate don't you, darling?" He offered, watching with a smile when she nodded and slowly accepted the food.
Later she took a shower and picked some clothes from Hayley and Rebekah's wardrobes. Both girls were happy to help her, girls had to stick together and it was obvious that nobody had been there for her for far too long.
They both knew she had been through it. They hadn't been told specifics but it was clear from her demeanour, she was scared, she felt indebted. Both girls had to try and show her that she wasn't a pet and there weren't expectations however the nest day, their clothes had been washed, dried and folded for them. Klaus had woken to a hand on his pants, his eyes had flown open to see her sad eyes on his waistband whilst her soft little hands pulled it down.
"Y/N!" He gasped and she flinched, almost falling off the bed but he managed to catch her. "Bloody hell" He mumbled, gently putting her down and loosening grip so he couldn't hurt her. "What were you doing, darling?" He asked and she looked at him confused.
"Waking you up..." She answered like it was expected behaviour. "You own me now-"
"No..." He breathed, his frown deepening when she said those words. "Darling, you're not a pet. You're a girl, you do what you want to do not what I want. You say no to me okay? You can always tell me and anyone here if you do or don't like something. You don't like beans? You tell me 'Klaus I don't like them' okay?" He told her, his voice both firm but calm to get his message across.
Y/n just stared at him. She felt like it was a trick or a test. Lucien had done it once, told her she should go outside to get some air only to chain her to the corner of the room and yell at her for trying to leave him.
Klaus could see she wasn't buying it, he wasn't sure what to do.
"Are you..." He stopped with a sigh, "Lets just move one day at a time." He whispered, "You'll feel better soon and you'll see that you don't ever have to do things...especially that."
Y/N put her hands into her lap and pinched her skin to hurt herself. She felt like she had disappointed him, even if he was adamant that she hadn't.
Things were hard for the first couple weeks. Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelson's had to try persuade her she wasn't in any way obligated to them and that she was allowed to do as she pleased.
Slowly she became comfortable in their home, around each of them and spoke a little more. However she still wouldn't go outside unless Klaus was there, he needed to hold her hand and make sure nobody would take her away.
Klaus had worked hard to have her feel safe. Even with Lucien dead, nightmares haunted her that he would take her back and punish her for leaving him. Too many nights had been filled with her screaming for help until Klaus would take her to his room and convince her that he would keep those dreams away. To be fair to him, he made sure to keep her mind at peace each night. Nothing scary could ever catch her again.
But then Klaus found himself watching a scene in her head, it was him and her curled up on the couch, just snuggling and watching TV like a normal couple. Klaus watched with interest when their dream versions kissed passionately.
The next morning he woke with her laid out across him. Fast asleep and looking adorable as usual. He smiled to himself and rubbed her back gently. After a while she woke up and he kept her all fuzzy and warm until she wanted to get out of bed.
That was how most mornings were, then the day would all depend on enemies and alliances. Sometimes Y/N was left all alone in the mansion, allowing her to read and discover every hidden room within. As many days as possible, someone would be home with her and they'd do something fun. Rebekah had been showing Y/N how to sew, Elijah was offering to teach her literature and history and Hayley would have them both dressed up playing with Hope. None of them knew how long she had been victim to Lucien but they dreaded that it had been far too long. Her education was minimal, all she seemed to know how to do was wash their clothes and clean up after them like a little maid.
Each time they spoke to her and told her she didn't need to do that, she would get upset and feel useless. All she had ever been wanted for was to serve Lucien and now she didn't have a purpose. She was beyond happy that she wasn't subjected to his treatment but she wasn't sure what she was ever supposed to do now that she was given everything. Luxuries weren't something she had ever heavily desired, a simple life is what she wanted but she was too traumatised of the outside world to live in it anymore.
Klaus had taken her to a experience a jazz festival to try show her the beauty in the world but the amount of people, the smell of alcohol, the noise. Everything attacked her at once and she ended up in tears, Klaus shielding her in an empty street that he had sped them too. He felt awful, he tried to calm her down and to soothe her but it wasn't working. Only once they got home and he was all she could feel, hear and smell was she able to calm down.
Klaus held her for hours, he was prepared to never let her go with how tightly she clung to him.
Helping her gain confidence was the most difficult thing after everything. Going from worthless to priceless was very literally life changing. Klaus feared that she may never understand how perfect she was, how much she deserved.
The Mikaelson's had all had their issues with identity and self value in the past so they all tried to help her understand hers. Rebekah especially was able to show Y/N just how beautiful she really was.
Once she became more comfortable with herself as well as others, everything was more natural. Her healing process was long but worth it.

Klaus smiled as he looked out the window, Y/N was running around the garden with Hope, laughing and squealing. They played for hours in the sunshine until dinner time rolled around and Hayley and Elijah had dinner set out for everyone.
Klaus had Hope sat in his lap whilst holding onto Y/N's thigh subconsciously under the table. Once everyone finished eating, Hope went up for her bath and Klaus's attention was on Y/N.
He wrapped his arm round her waist and pulled her to him, kissing the top of her head with a soft hum. He tried to pull her away from the sink but she giggled and whined.
"Hayley and Elijah cooked. It's our turn to clean." She reminded and he smiled, nuzzling her hair.
"Why don't Rebekah and Marcel ever clean hm?" He pressed and she shrugged whilst grabbing a dirty dish which he immediately took away from her. "I don't want you to ever have to clean." He whispered, hugging her tight.
"I don't mind cleaning when it's on rotation. This way it's all fair, now helppp. We cook tomorrow." She reminded and he rolled his eyes playfully.
"Mmm, I love when you refer to us like we're one. I'll do the dishes darling. You can get ready for bed?"
"You don't need to do that-"
"I want to darling, now off you go." He smiled and ruffled her hair with a chuckle when her hands tried to flatten it back down. She begrudgingly went upstairs and let him finish washing up before he returned and got changed before snuggling up around her.
She curled right into him savouring his warmth and breathing his scent. "I'm really glad I met you." She murmured to him and he smiled.
"I'm beyond glad to have met you too my darling." He purred, kissing her cheek. She blushed against his lips and rubbed her face into him much like a needy cat. "You're so perfect." He whispered, smelling her hair.
"I love you, Klaus." She uttered her eyes shining with vulnerability and slight fear but he quickly diminished it.
"I love you much more Y/N." He internally promised to never let her hurt, long, need again. Klaus smiled when he saw her go red in the face, he peppered her face in little kisses.
Y/N's breath got caught in her throat when he pecked her lips, it was a short but sweet kiss. He pulled back to gauge her reaction, check he hadn't overstepped but it was clear he hadn't. Her pupils were blown and her body was relaxed. She trusted him and she wanted him.
Klaus smiled, a genuine smile before stroking her hair down flat. His head lowered again to kiss her lips once more, lingering a couple seconds extra. He then turned back around and dipped his hands in the soapy water and got to the dishes.
Leaving a bashful Y/N to head on upstairs to the room they had been sharing.
When he got back up there, she was already in bed. Pyjamas fresh and already warmed to her skin as she peeked up at him from the duvet.
His lips upturned instantly, "You look beautiful, my darling." He told her, heading over to kiss her cheek sweetly before grabbing some plaid pants and a t-shirt and disappearing into the bathroom.
Since having Y/N stay with him, Klaus had been wearing full pyjama sets to keep her comfortable. Honestly, he didn't mind. It was comfortable and kept him feeling fresh and ensured him that Y/N felt safe in his bed.
He could certainly tell the difference between the first time she stayed with him and this time. Now when he came back into the room she was all smiles and giggles, waiting for him and wanting him there.
Klaus climbed into bed, pulling the covers round him and sliding her to his side. His lips attacked the side of her pretty face before he reached over and switched on the soft little night light that she needed for comfort and then turned off the bigger lamp so only a gentle glow illuminated the room slightly.
Y/N snuggled up to his body, he could still feel her smooth skin through their clothes. He loved how perfect she was, it was incredible that she could still be so perfect after everything she'd been through. He would aways love her, everything about her.
That was all he could think about as he watched her little fingers toy with his. Klaus always touched her so gentle, so careful. That night was no different and Y/N knew that; she trusted him.
He wasn't Lucien.
"You're not him." She uttered, voice so quiet and faint against his ear when he lay between her legs. His heart ache for her.
"I'm not him." He assured, his hand gently petting her head as his hips rocked lovingly against hers. "I'll never be him." He whispered; promised.
Y/N's walls squeezed him so good, showed him she felt good too. Klaus made sure to glance down at her delicate features, checking for those signs of pleasure. His hips would buck up, filling her deeply so she would cry his name blissfully.
"That feels nice, doesn't it darling?" He whispered against her ear with a little kiss to the shell. Her head nodded, eyes glassy as she looked up at his. Klaus could internally feel her soul reaching for his, needing him. "Can you tell me it feels nice, sweet Y/N?" He asked her gently and she gasped for the air to talk.
"Feels really nice, Klaus, promise!" She whined, body tightening again making him nuzzle to the crook of her neck. His nostrils flared, breathing in her scent like a drug as he pushed his hips forward to bury deep inside her when he came; filling her gently like she ought be treated. Her cry of pleasure brought him such joy and a sense of peace that he was able to bring her to her peak, make her content like she had always needed. Feeling her soft body contacting lightly around him as she whimpered and trembled beneath him made his heart swell. His fingers stroked her hair slowly, soothing her body back down from its high.
"You know that I love you. I knew I'd love you, care for you like this since the first time I held you in my arms." He whispered to her, sincerity shining.
Y/N smiled up at him, glowing skin and messy hair but still as beautiful as ever.
By morning they were dressed again, legs tangled and bodies snuggled.
Mornings soon became Klaus's favourite time of the day, having her warmth against his. The knowing she's safe and secure and at peace. Often he'd let her curl up with the covers over them whilst his head buried between her thighs and she bit down on the quilt to hide her sounds from the sun. Then he'd take them back downstairs for something to eat before the day truly began.
It was a long road to get to the safe place they were in now but nothing had been more worth it.

Could you make something like where klaus' girlfriend/wife is really attractive and all of his enemies want her(like lucien or tristan)?
Everybody wants to steal my girl
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x reader Summary: Klaus (and you) have been struggling with hybrid's jealousy for 1,000 years. It doesn't help that you're stunningly beautiful and that all his enemies want to steal you from him. But Klaus will not let his wife ever leave his side—or worse, lose her feelings for him. Even if he is "slightly" insecure about himself. Warning(s): jealous Klaus, jealous reader, a bit smut (I think) but not 18+, Klaus being an insecure puppy Word count: 7k I guess

She's been my queen since we were sixteen, we want the same things We dream the same dreams, alright, alright?
Klaus stormed into the abattoir in a rage. He promised himself that he would rip Lucien's heart out of his chest as soon as the circumstances were right, making sure he had suffered enough for his heinous act beforehand.
Klaus was the only one who could flirt with his wife.
He'd have to make sure that this pathetic creature got the message the next time they met. Lucien had condemned his life to death anyway, but Klaus might have had the pity to spare him from his creative torture.
Y/N didn't like it when he got blood on the floor. And when their daughter Hope came into the world, she tried to keep the violence around her to a minimum. Which didn't mean Klaus shouldn't fight every potential suitor of his baby's mother. Hope would agree with him if she was old enough.
When he calmed down, he decided to look into the room of their miracle child. He smiled, leaning against the doorframe as he saw Y/N putting their daughter to sleep. She sang an Old Norse lullaby they both knew from their human days.
Klaus flashed back to the days when he was just a teenager, head over heels in love with the daughter of their village chief. Then he wouldn't even have had a chance to hold her hand in public. His family was lower in the village hierarchy, which meant he could only dream of marrying a(n) Y/N. Which didn't stop them from falling in love. And turning her into a vampire with the Mikaelson siblings—the only thing he owed to his mother.
They both wanted and dreamed of the same thing: being together. They've had their ups and downs over the past thousand years, but they've always stayed together. She was the only person in their family that Klaus had never stabbed. Besides, he couldn't. She was a hybrid, just like him. After breaking his curse, it turned out that their lost dreams of having a family together weren't all that lost. Hope appeared. And they both hoped she wouldn't be their only child. But first, they had to deal with their enemies.
Klaus knew he would do anything to protect his girls. And in moments like this—when Y/N smiled softly at him, holding their sleeping daughter in her arms—he knew that his efforts were damn well worth the hard work and sleepless nights.
His wife might just not be so irresistibly, wonderfully beautiful at every fucking moment of the day. It would have saved him a lot of nerves and fits of jealousy every time someone flirted with his goddess.
"Tough day?" Y/n asked, placing her hand on his cheek. Klaus didn't even notice when she approached him.
"It's better since I've seen you, love." he murmured, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her to his chest to bury his nose in her delightfully fragrant hair.
Klaus adored every inch of her.
I know, I know, I know for sure Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
On days like this, Klaus was more murderous than usual.
Y/N knew full well that after agreeing to Tristan's polite request for a dance, Klaus was going to explode tonight. Not that she wanted to dance with the brother of a bitch who wanted to take her husband. Tristan's compliments to her, or even the subtle hints of his attraction to her, weren't pleasant to her either.
That was the plan: she was to distract Tristan while Klaus and Freya searched their house. The only thing Elijah didn't take into account was Klaus' enormous tendency to get jealous every time he touched her or received a compliment from another man.
Y/N could have sworn she saw Kol in the crowd eating a pack of popcorn, waiting for things to happen.
So she wasn't surprised when Klaus appeared at one point, snatching her from Tristan's arms with a warning growl. Or that he later marked her neck carefully and every inch of her body that had been contaminated by another man's hands.
Y/N was HIS and no one could ever change that. Not when he was around.
Elijah then burst into your room, being very annoyed at his brother's behavior. But honestly? He should have known better than to hope Klaus wouldn't give in to his jealousy. Tristan was lucky he didn't rip his hands off on the spot. On that day, the second of their first-turned vampires handed down a death sentence. Klaus wouldn't let anyone steal his wife.
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
The cup of bitterness overflowed in Klaus when Lucien approached you on your annual "wedding anniversary" date. Yes, Klaus dared to show enough of his sentimental and tender side to declare this day a national holiday. No murders and no bodies on this day - that's what he promised you thousands of years ago.
But when he brought your order to the table and saw Lucien shamelessly flirting with you in front of him, inviting you for a drink at his suite, he seriously considered breaking that oath.
Unfortunately, he couldn't do that. He would rather avoid your wrath.
So instead, he walked over to your table with a sly, confident smirk, put the food on the table, and, grabbing your chin, pulled you close to kiss you passionately in front of the vampire.
He was marking his territory.
You smiled as Niklaus ignored Lucien's awkward grunt, only kissing you fiercely. He only let you go when he was sure your lips were swollen enough from his kiss. He smirked at your slightly disheveled state.
"Were you very bored without me, love?" he asked, playing with your hair.
"I kept her company, Klaus." the hybrid winced at Lucien's voice. He mustered up all the rest of his patience and turned his head, acknowledging the vampire's presence.
"Oh really? I didn't notice you, Lucien. You can go now." he brushed him off, turning back to you. Disgust in his gaze gave way to pure adoration. You were always amazed at how quickly you could change his mood with just your presence.
"Nik, sweetheart, it's very inappropriate to talk like that to our oldest friends, isn't it? Lucien, darling, we'll continue our conversation someday. You have to forgive me, but I promised my grumpy husband that I would focus all my attention on him today." you excused the two of you with a cute smile. Lucien just nodded, blushing.
You grabbed Klaus' arm and pulled him out of the bar before he lunged at the vampire.
"Niklaus, my heart and soul, you know I'm only yours, right?" you asked, kissing his cheek to stifle the surge of his jealousy.
"Yes. Which doesn't mean that this creature knows it too. And I'm not grumpy." he grunted, the furrow of irritation on his forehead deepening as he remembered Lucien's sweet words to you. He wanted to vomit as soon as you answered him in an equally nice and polite tone. "Every enemy of mine has a crush on you anyway; even my father doesn't feel disgusted and murderous toward you."
"Yes? You should have seen Aurora's face when she passed us a few minutes ago. She must have sent Lucien here to spoil our evening."
"Wait a minute, love... is that why you've drawn me to this very nice, unexpected, passionate, mind-blowing kiss in the middle of the street?" he asked with an incredulous smirk, watching with satisfaction as a treacherous blush crept onto your cheeks.
"What am I supposed to say? You're as territorial in this relationship as I am. Besides, we don't want to give our enemies the false impression that we see anything but each other, do we?"
"It's good to know you get jealous of me from time to time too, love."
"Time to time? Please, have you seen yourself in the mirror? I'm still at war with all these horny women who want to steal you from me. Such cheekbones, wonderful eyes, and an English accent are the dreams of many."
"Maybe, but I'm probably the one who chases away the most suitors out of the two of us. You have no idea how many people have had a crush on you over the centuries."
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Oh yeah Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Alright Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na She belongs to me
There was going to be a celebration of the summer solstice in their village. Young Klaus was just waiting for you to sneak out with him after the ceremonial rites for your own celebration.
You've been courting each other for over three years now, and today Klaus was finally going to pluck up the courage (with the help of Elijah and Rebekah and Kol's teasing) to propose to you. The ring was safely in his pocket, and the sword was well hidden where the two of you were supposed to spend a romantic evening.
Everything was planned and ready. Nothing could go wrong today. He anticipated and ready for every circumstance, and his mother (the only one of your parents who knew about this secret relationship) promised him to keep his father away from your tryst's place.
But it never occurred to him that another man would try to steal you away from him.
Thor Ragnarsson, the strongest and most powerful young warrior from their village, has been dancing with you since the beginning of the night. And it didn't seem like he was going to let you go that easily, and after the rumors he heard from Kol, Klaus found out that the man wanted to court you.
Klaus had a panic attack. How could he—weak, one of the many sons of a lesser warrior—compete with such a man for your hand? Thor could give you much more than he can. He was stronger, richer, more famous, and handsomer... No. He couldn't think like that. Not when you were destined for each other by fate, stars, spirits, gods, or whatever was watching over you. He had to do something, and fast, before that son of a bitch charms you and you forget the boy who wrote you poems and painted your portraits on the bark of trees.
Klaus may not have been the strongest, but he had something that many of their villagers lacked. He had the cunning, brains, and skill of the best assassin. He will snatch you from this brute's clutches. But first he'll have to figure out how to do it (and take control of the deepening feelings of jealousy that clouded his good judgment.)
Thor only had two weaknesses. Beautiful women and strong drinks. He doubted that he would get drunk so easily; they don't know each other, so even if he offered him something stronger to drink (with an admixture of sleeping herbs), he would probably refuse and sense Klaus' ruse. So he had to resort to Plan B.
"Rebekah!" he shouted, trying to find his sister in the dancing crowd. He found her pretty quickly. He grabbed her hand and pulled her away from talking to some man (whom he and Elijah needed to check out in the future) and dragged the protesting blonde to a place where they could watch you and Thor. "I need your help. Do you see this skunk who is talking to my Y/N? Please distract him so I and Y/N can run away from there. You know I wanted to propose to her tonight, and that lesser man is ruining my whole plan!"
"Couldn't you have asked Tatia? She would have helped you because of Elijah."
"They got out of here before Kol could scare off another woman. Please, Rebekah. Won't you do it for your favorite brother?"
"She better say yes." she sighed in defeat, threading herself into the dancing crowd. After a moment, she hit Y/N's partner and winked at Klaus. He didn't waste a second. He ran over to you and, making sure everyone was too busy to notice you, threw you over his shoulder and took you from there.
"Nik! You can put me down now." she laughed at him as they entered the forest. Klaus reluctantly set her down, immediately drawing her into a passionate kiss, which she eagerly returned. "What took you so long?"
"I had to make sure the inconvenience wouldn't bother us when we sneaked out."
"That inconvenience has a name. Besides, Thor's just my friend. We both know very well that my heart belongs to only one man in this village."
"And who is it, love?"
"Well, he's quite tall; he has blonde hair and beautiful, mesmerizing blue eyes; and he's artistically talented. I've never seen more beautiful things than the ones he's made, and he's soooo jealous of me, but that's only because he loves me and he's pretty insecure about himself. Thinking about it like that, I guess I should make sure he knows how much I desire and love him so he doesn't come up with some weird ideas. What do you think?"
"I think this man was born under a lucky star to be worthy of a miracle like you."
"I forgot to add that he charms me with his words like no one else." you murmured, placing a tender kiss on his lips, which accelerated the rhythm of your already madly beating hearts. He pushed you into a tree, wrapping his arms around your waist and holding you close, not wanting the world to let this moment between you ever end. You pulled away from him, placing your hand gently on his cheek. You smiled, looking at him with love in your eyes as he turned his head to kiss your hand. "I dare not agree with you. I'm the lucky one to have you, Niklaus. And believe me, nothing on this earth can change the way I love you. Nothing is even close enough to steal me from your safe, loving arms."
"So what do you say when..." he knelt down in front of you, trembling with nerves as he took a hand-made ring from his pocket. "Will I offer you my heart, soul, and body forever? You have my eternal devotion, loyalty, and love regardless of your answer, but know that it will be a real honor and a gift from the gods to call you my wife and to have a family with you. I want nothing more in this world than for you to be mine, Y/N. And I may not be the best choice; I am not very rich or strong, but I promise you that I will try to be the best husband for you."
"Oh, Niklaus, you stupid, insecure man... of course I will marry you!" you screamed with tears in your eyes, throwing yourself at him and knocking the two of you to the ground. You both laughed happily as you kissed each other's faces. Klaus gently slid the ring onto your finger.
One satisfying thought lingered in his mind as you both lounged in the field, embracing each other and watching the stars, talking about your future together.
She belongs to me.
Kisses like cream, her walk is so mean And every jaw drops when she's in those jeans, alright, alright? I don't exist if I don't have her The sun doesn't shine, the world doesn't turn, alright, alright?
"Any party you forgot to invite me to?" Klaus flinched at your pretentious, cold tone of voice. He turned away from the table to explain why Lucien, Aurora, and Tristan were sitting at the table with him and his brothers but fell silent, trying to keep his jaw from dropping.
"You look breathtaking as always, darling. Tristan and I missed having a beautiful woman at this table." Klaus stared murderously at Lucien as he kissed your hand, ignoring Aurora's offended snort. He knew you did it on purpose.
This morning, when he asked you to take Hope to visit Aunt Hayley for the day, you were wearing a completely different outfit. Now you were wearing those annoyingly tight jeans that showed off your curves perfectly, and you knew he loved them. Paired with a plunging neckline blouse, diamond jewelry, and little makeup, you looked like a goddess. Aurora could hide in the septic tank with her elegant, short dress.
You smirked at Aurora, sitting down between Lucien and Tristan, across from your husband. And that, too, was a deliberate ploy. You were out of reach of his hands to tease him with your beauty even more, regaling those idiots by your side with your heavenly presence. Klaus will make sure you pay for your little feat tonight.
He shot you a warning look as he noticed Lucien inching slightly closer to you, but you ignored him completely, smiling at some comment from the younger vampire.
Oh, yes, you will definitely be punished.
"Something wrong, sweetheart?" you asked him, knowing full well where his thoughts wandered.
"No. You're messing up the world order by fawning over this scoundrel instead of sitting next to me."
"Perfectly fine, love. Just admiring your beauty tonight."
"Only mine?" you asked, casually swirling her glass of wine and glancing meaningfully at Aurora, who tensed slightly under your gaze. You smiled meanly, ignoring Elijah's staring at you with irritation.
After failing to get anything meaningful out of Lucien (Klaus wouldn't let you get close enough to use his tricks), Elijah figured Aurora's weakness for Klaus could be exploited. But this time he didn't anticipate that you'd pick up on your husband's jealous behavior.
And you were much worse than the mighty hybrid.
"You know you're the only one I belong to, love." Klaus finally answered, shocking the younger vampires. They had never witnessed the world's deadliest vampire softly professing his love and devotion to you. You smiled sweetly at him, offering him your hand, which he kissed without hesitation. You shot a malicious, defiant look at Aurora.
They thought he had you wrapped around his finger, but it turns out to be quite the opposite...
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
"Cheer up, she's just talking to him and not even of her own free will, Nik." you heard Kol calming down your husband when you tried to get information from Lucien.
For some reason, a vampire who has been impersonating your husband over the years has fallen for your extraordinary beauty and become infatuated with you.
Elijah decided to try again and use this to your advantage, much to Klaus' displeasure and fury. This time, Elijah put his other younger brother on guard. Honestly, it was fun to watch Kol occasionally hold Klaus by his henley to keep him from running towards you.
But of the two evils, Kol preferred to fight Klaus' jealousy over yours. You have proven more than once that you are a more dangerous opponent than his already bloodthirsty brother.
"Are you alright, darling?" Lucien pulled you out of your thoughts as he looked at you with concern.
"Yeah, I'm just a little tired. Hope's been getting on my nerves lately. She's so little, and she already has her dad's temper."
"A beautiful and caring woman like you deserves one night off." he said, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear and placing a flower there in the process. You had to admit that it was a very sweet gesture. You blushed involuntarily, smiling shyly at the vampire. "Will you do me the honor?" he asked, extending his hand towards you. You really didn't want to flirt with him, but Elijah didn't give you much of a way out. You hoped Klaus knew that. But from the burning look you could feel in the back of your head as Lucien led you to the dance floor, you knew you were bound to have a fit of jealousy at home.
You just hoped no one would die until you were alone in the same room with your husband to ease his jealousy.
You glanced out of the corner of your eye at Kol and Klaus' hideout. You almost burst out laughing as you saw the two brothers jostling with each other as Kol was trying hard to hold Klaus by his henley.
"Bloody hell, calm down before I put a dog muzzle around your neck!" Kol hissed at him, deftly dodging Klaus' fangs as he tried to inject him with his werewolf venom.
Fortunately, Freya came and took control of them, thanks to which the rest of the night went without incident (except that Klaus barged in at the end of the party and, together with Kol, pretending to be drunk, laughed at their ball. The divas, as always, had to show up.)
You thought everything would be fine, but on the way back, Nik didn't say a word to you, only holding your hand in an iron grip as he put up with Kol's story about what a "jealous and rabid dog" he had been throughout the whole ball.
The son of a bitch only made him angrier and escaping to Davina at the first possible opportunity after you were parked under abattoir.
The rest of the siblings got out of the car quickly, leaving you and Klaus alone. You had to defuse the ticking time bomb that was your husband before it was too late, and also on your own.
"Nik..." you began in a sweet tone, but the man didn't even look up from your joined hands as he played with your wedding ring on your finger. "Nik, listen…"
"Do you regret your decision?"he blurted out, not letting you finish your sentence.
"What?" you asked, shocked about his unexpected, serious question.
You turned to him so you could get a better look at him. He was staring at your hands nervously. You could feel his grip tightening with every second of the tense silence between you two.
"Do you regret marrying me?" he asked in a trembling, rueful voice.
"Oh, Niklaus... my best friend, my king, my soulmate. How could I ever regret marrying my first, true, epic love?" you took his cheeks in your hands, making him look you in the eyes. "I love you. All of you. In your good and bad days, and nothing can change that. None knows me as well as you do. Nobody is even close to making me feel the way you have been making me feel for these last thousand years. You are my peace, my home, my security, my heart, and my everything. There could be a billion people asking for my hand, and I'll choose you again, and again, and again. You, our sweet Hope, and your siblings are the only ones I care about in this bloody world. I'm yours, Niklaus, and I'm not going anywhere in the following eternity."
"Good." he murmured, barely holding back tears, and pulled you into a needy kiss.
You grabbed his shoulders and straddled him, knowing full well that, after moments of uncertainty like this, he needed your tender, firm touch.
And with the uncles and aunts watching over your daughter, you were more than willing to take care of your insecure husband.
The next day you woke up alone in your bed, but in a room filled with various beautiful flowers… none of them were like the one Lucien had given you and Klaus had burned.
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Oh yeah Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Alright Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na
You lay in bed together, sleeping off the long weeks of fighting the de Martels and Lucien. You finally killed them, returning to that blissful, peaceful state. AND! Hope has gained a new Uncle Finn and Grandpa Ansel. And it looked like Aunt Davina would join your happy, crazy, Mikaelosn's bunch, thanks to Kol. Klaus allowed them to look after the baby under the watchful eye of Rebekah and Freya.
It'll probably be years before he trusts them enough to leave them alone with Hope, but that's just how your husband was.
Always a protector, a warrior, repelling any evil that could reach his loved ones.
"Stop thinking. Go back to sleep." he murmured, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you closer.
Lately, he has had a strange urge to stay very close to you. Maybe it's because spring is coming? You didn't want to ask him about his wolf side yet. He was fairly new to it and... shy. You were glad that now Ansel would be able to help him understand his other half.
"I thought we established a long time ago that I disobey your orders." you started to comb his hair, smiling as you heard him purr softly. He deserved to rest after bravely defending your family. You didn't know how much time you had left until another bomb exploded in your face.
"You could at least pretend to be a little obedient to your husband." he huffed, his eyes still closed.
"Me? Obedient? I thought you knew what you were taking, Mikaelson. Now, it's too late for any returns." you snorted, amused. Klaus graciously opened one eye, staring at you adoringly.
"I did. You're mine forever." he replied seriously, making your cheeks flush furiously and your heart speed up.
"Good." you whispered, placing a tender, short kiss on his lips.
"Good." he replied, cupping your cheeks and kissing you "properly" stealing your breath away. You enjoyed a moment to yourselves, touching each other tenderly, grounding in the familiar feeling of another's lips.
You two needed it after weeks of jealousy and uncertainty on both sides. Reminders that nothing and no one can take each other away. You belonged to him as much as he belonged to you. Soul and body.
You still were kissing as Klaus slid his hand down your neck, breasts, and belly and started to lift your shirt, making you shiver every time your bare skin made brief contact with his fingertips.
Suddenly, Hope's cry came from downstairs, effectively breaking the moment between the two of you. Klaus groaned, resting his forehead against yours.
"Your daughter is calling us."
"And since when is she just my daughter?"
"Since she's been demanding our attention purely because of her current mood. You spoiled her, Nik, and she's not even 4."
"I know another woman I've spoiled, and she's not complaining about it at all. Maybe that's not a bad thing."
"Just bring her here. I need her too." you backed out, knowing full well you couldn't win this fight. Thousands of dresses, jewelry, and your portraits painted by Klaus spoke clearly against you. Hope may have been spoiled by her dad, but over the past thousand years (and probably many more to come), your husband has made sure you get everything you want. Even a fucking star in the sky.
"As you wish, love." he murmured, kissing your forehead before going to fetch your daughter.
She knows, she knows that I never let her down before She know, she knows that I'm never gonna let take another take her love from me
Klaus couldn't let his guard down. You just had to attract everyone with your beauty. Even the Salvatore brothers. He wasn't worried about Damon. He was too smitten with Elena to even think about making a move to get your affection. But Stefan… the golden, Salvatore hero—who had some dark points in common with him but was definitely a better choice than him. Bloody hell, he would want him too, if he had to choose between himself and him. So he has to work really hard to prove to you that he may be better than Stefan.
It didn't help that the younger vampire was stealing you in front of him and dancing with you most of the time at his mother's ball.
Not also the fact that you were willing to let him lead you after Klaus argued with you about Esther's intentions. You sensed something wrong with her aura, but Klaus believed (or wanted to believe) that his mother meant well. That, like him, she wanted to reunite the family.
You guys argued pretty hard about it. And now you were dancing in the arms of his enemy, honoring him with your beauty, smile and attention.
The worst part of it all was that you didn't send him a single malicious smirk. You didn't tease him like you usually did after your fights. You didn't even notice him as he watched you doggedly, tipping another glass of champagne. His name probably never crossed your mind this evening.
He played with the wedding ring on his finger, watching carefully as Salavtore flirted with you in front of him. He promised himself that this time he wouldn't give in to his jealousy. He won't play by the rules of your game, and he won't play the jealous husband. You will come to him yourself and apologize to him.
At least that was the plan until he saw you take your wedding ring off.
This was too fucking much for him.
He set his glass down on the table and with a quick, slightly unsteady step, walked over to the two of you and twisted Stefan's arm, the exact one he had dared to touch your bare shoulder.
Salvatore groaned, drawing the attention of those around you. But you stood firm as you watched your husband break at least two of his bones. He released Stefan in disgust and grabbed your hand, dragging you through the crowd of onlookers to his studio - the only place where no one would dare disturb you.
"What the hell was that?!" he shouted, slamming the door behind the two of you in anger.
"I have no idea what you are talking about, sweetheart."
"For your own good, don't make me more mad than I already am, love."
"And you, for your own good, remember that I AM NOT the meek wife you can order around! I'm the hybrid, like you, an original. You have no power over me, wolfie, no one has."
"Are you sure, love?" he growled throatily, taking a big step towards her. You backed up until you hit the wall behind you. Klaus walked over to you, your chests rubbing against each other with every breath you took.
He suddenly kissed you aggressively, taking out all his anger and insecurity on you as he bit into your enticing mouth and began sucking the slowly oozing blood. He groaned at the sweet, addictive taste on his tongue.
With one hand, he untangles your complicated hairstyle and wraps your hair around his hand, tilting your head back. While he was busy fucking your neck with kisses, you took advantage of his distraction, digging your nails into his arms, taking revenge for biting your lip. He hissed, annoyed at your bratty attitude, and pressed his lips to yours again. Once he had distracted you, he gave away two of your dresses and slapped you hard on the ass. You moaned into the kiss, rubbing against him, making him even crazier with desire. He had to control himself before you went too far for him to carry out his plan.
"Such a willing… so needy whore for me." you moaned as he brushed against your core, still teasing you, his fangs on your neck as he bit your skin gently. "What a pity I only fuck with my wife." he growled, pushing away from you and heading towards the exit.
"Niklaus!" you gasped in anger as his body heat left you.
"Put your wedding ring back on, and maybe I will help you with your... little problem." he threw over his shoulder, ignoring your shouts of protest and threats.
He didn't even get his hand on the doorknob when you pinned him to the door, kissing him passionately. He grinned, throwing you onto the piano in the corner as he caught a glimpse of the familiar black gold on your finger out of the corner of his eye. Where the fuck should always be. He leaned over you, grabbing your chin hard to make you look into his eyes. Need and lust shone in your irises, making him harder than ever.
"You're mine. I am the only bloody man who'll ever hear your sweet moaning in pleasure like a whore. Nobody can take you away from me. Don't ever dare to think you can have any lover but me."
"Then stop talking and prove it."
"With a fucking pleasure, love." he growled, kissing you hungrily as he tore your dress in half.
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
Hayley and Jackson's son stayed over at Hope's, and Klaus was more terrified than when he had fought his father. His little girl was playing with some kid. What if he started flirting with her? He had read somewhere that kids that age often find "boyfriends and girlfriends" and call every other person they are friends with that. He wasn't ready to hear from his little daughter that she had a boyfriend.
So ever since Hayley brought him in, he'd been giving the boy a stern look, much to his wife's annoyance. Klaus' reluctance gradually began to turn into indifference when, after hours of time Hope spent with her friend, he did not notice anything suspicious. They'd lasted all day, and there was no indication that the kid would have to be wiped off the face of the earth (or at least taken back to his parents immediately).
But then came breakfast. And Klaus noticed that this kid was staring at you in adoration. And he didn't like it at all.
He was not at all prepared for the insult, the insult directed at him, which the child said after you helped him cut his food.
"You are beautiful and kind as an angel. When I grow up, I will be your husband." Klaus spat out his cup of tea, choking as you tried not to burst out laughing at the 6-year-old's comment and Nik' reaction.
"Honey... but I already have a husband. He'll be very sad if I find another." Hayley called her son, who said goodbye to you and ran to hug Hope before mom took him away. You looked at your stunned husband with amusement. "Well… at least you don't have to worry about him flirting with Hope."
"This kid won't be stepping over the threshold of this house again." he growled, leaving the room to make sure the little one was out for good.
"Niklaus! It is just a child!" you shouted after him, laughing at his jealousy as you ran to make sure he didn't intimidate the poor boy.
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
It's been quite a few years since Klaus' last fit of jealousy. After the (victory) fight against Inadu, you were finally able to enjoy a moment of normality.
You had lunch at some diner in Mystic Falls; you visited Hope at her school, and somehow it happened that a group of her colleagues accosted her. She introduced you, you chatted with them for a while, and everything was supposed to be a normal dinner with your daughter and her friends, until one of them... crossed the line.
"Now we know from whom Hope inherited such loveliness. You are very beautiful, Mrs. Mikaelson."
You quickly grabbed Klaus' hand across the table, politely thanking the boy. Hope, seeing what was going on, escorted her friends away and left you alone for a moment.
"Niklaus, he's just a teenager."
"Uhm." he muttered absently, staring with daggers at the departing boy.
"He could be our son, for God's sake!"
"Most people on this planet could be our children, but that doesn't stop them from flirting with my wife." you rolled your eyes, smiling with amusement as he growled at the boy staring at you when Hope was explaining something to him. The poor guy looked away in panic and ran away as fast as he could.
You were going to scold your husband for scaring your daughter's friends, but you decided to leave it to Hope. The smart girl knew how to talk to her father better than you. Maybe she'd finally knock those stupid fits of jealousy out of his head, with which you've been struggling for 1,000 years.
"Your pregnant wife, I would like to point out. And we're not going anywhere. Certainly not with a teenager." you said, grabbing his chin and pulling him to you so you could kiss him. Klaus grunted, pleased with the feeling of your lips on his, and automatically placed his hand on your yet-unseen belly, smirking as he felt the pulse of the youngest member of the Mikaelson family growing inside you.
"I'm back!" Hope screamed, stepping behind you with a nervous smile. You raised an eyebrow, while looking at your daughter. Oh, no. You knew that look in her eyes. Klaus had the same gaze as he was about to do... something in Mikaelson's style. "Taking the opportunity... I mean, now that you're reassuring dad. Mom, Dad, I have a boyfriend. His name is Landon, and he's coming to the family dinner on Friday for all of you to meet him. So, bye! I'm going back to school. I love you both!" she said, kissing you both on the cheeks and leaving you both stunned. You burst out laughing at Klaus' shocked, defeated expression.
"Nik? Are you okay?" you asked, still laughing. Your husband's patience really was tested today.
"I told you we should stay in bed today. I knew something bad was about to happen." he growled, giving you a menacing look as you still couldn't stop laughing. You kissed the corner of his lips, a huge smirk still on your face. Klaus rolled his eyes but couldn't hold back his smirk any longer while he was looking at you. The power you hold over him... one your smile was easily changing his mood. Even in situations like this.
"Don't be such dramatic. It's probably better that Hope is dating teens than me, right?"
"Stop it, love." he growled, putting the money on the table. He grabbed your hand and led you out of the bar.
"Stop what?" you asked, pretending to be innocent as you strolled towards your car.
"Teasing me."
"But it's my favorite part of the day… and we all know you enjoy every ounce of my undivided attention." you replied, stopping both of you in front of the car and putting your hands on his shoulders. You stared at him with a mischievous smirk, playing with his hair. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer as he leaned against your car.
"You know you're ruining my carefully crafted reputation as the greatest evil in the world?"
"I'm not too concerned about this… how about you?"
His only response was a light chuckle before he kissed you with all his love for you. You smiled, cupping his cheeks and pulling him as close to you as possible. You both loved those moments of peace between the two of you. No witches, vampires, or werewolves wanting your death. Just the two of you in each other's arms, too busy with each other to care about anything else.
"Let's go home, love. Before that bunch of Salvatores come down here with white oak stakes." he hummed tenderly, stroking your cheek with his thumb.
He could stare at your beautiful face for hours. Even if it meant dealing with the people who wanted to steal his goddess first. It was worth every effort to hold you in his arms again.
"I don't think we're on the top criminals list anymore. Stefan was recently joking that you had retired. And before you get a seizure in the middle of town, let me say that I didn't talk to him. Hope is friends with Delena's daughter. She might have overheard something."
"The gods must have punished me in some way for my many antics, so they sent me a wife to teach my daughter how to get on my nerves without even trying."
"Oh sweetheart. I love you too." you laughed as you both got into the car to go home.
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Oh yeah Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Alright Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na She belongs to me
You were sitting in a rocking chair, holding your newborn son in your arms. The baby finally fell asleep peacefully, and you were afraid to make any move after hours of putting him to sleep. It looks like you'll have to sleep in this chair tonight.
"Rescue you, love?" Klaus' soft whisper tore your gaze from Henric Nikolas Mikaelson.
"I'd love to, but I'm afraid he'll wake up the moment he leaves my arms." Klaus slowly walked over to you, kneeling in front of you and gazing tenderly at the baby you held. "I guess you're going to have to come to terms with the fact that you're going to have to share me with someone else." the man rolled his eyes at the comment about his jealousy. He shifted his gaze to you and gently grabbed your hand, being careful not to let any sudden movement wake his son.
"I'll live with it as long as our kids are the only ones taking you from me."
"You are a very gracious, all-powerful hybrid." he chuckled, making a tired but genuine smile appear on your face. "Save yourself while you still can. I don't think I'm going back to bed tonight." you murmured, looking at the little usurper in your arms.
"Nonsense, you are going with me.." he lifted you from your chair with your soft, startled squeal and held you in his arms, careful not to wake your son. He carried you to the bed, making sure you were comfortable. He lay on his side, propping his head up with his hand, and stared at the two of you, spellbound. "You can sleep. I'll keep an eye on you two."
"Remember that your siblings and dad are coming tomorrow. Kol and Davina pick up Hope. And please, for God's sake, don't argue with Kol again about him being Henric's godfather, because we both know you don't want anyone else to take his place."
"Well, we always have Marcel and, God forbid, Finn. Besides, what kind of big brother would I be if I didn't torment him every chance I got?" you rolled your eyes, pressing your son to your chest, and used your free hand to grab your husband's hand.
"I just hope you didn't teach our daughter that."
"I'd be surprised if she didn't pick up on our habits herself." he murmured, kissing your hand and watching you fall into a peaceful sleep while holding your son and his hand. Your rings shone in the moonlight on your joined hands.
Yes... you were definitely belongs only to him.

The sacred soul
Kol Mikaelson x female character
When a young newly turned vampire seeks out the Mikaelson’s as it turns out she has a special connection to Kol
Warnings: Mentions of blood
Word count: 5620
Tumblr media
It was a middle of the night in the French quarters of New Orleans as I wanted around looking for a nice meal as i haven’t eaten in a while as I stumble into the compound of the infamous Mikaelson family as you looked around in the compound when a thick English accent was heard from the balcony which made you look up at the dark haired original vampire as he had a slight smirk on his face.
“Can I help you with anything darling?” He said with a continuing smirk on his face as you tried your best to suppress the veins under eyes that was clearly displaying your enormous hunger that you currently felt.
As he walked close to you, you could smell the blood running through his veins as he approached you and just started chuckling at you as the veins under eyes returned as you tried to restrain yourself from jumping teeth first on him to the best of your abilities, that was until he did something he was very soon gonna regret you thought to yourself, but then again he’s the original one out of you two, so you couldn’t really do much harm even if you wanted to.
“Aww is someone a little hungry? Want some of this?” Kol said as he proceeded to bite into his wrist as the blood started running down his arm as he proceeded to reach out the arm for you as you had your eyes glued onto it just long enough for you to almost run to him and start feeding as he pulled his arm back and started drying it away again as you simply looked at him with nothing but a huge blood lust as you wanted to rip his head off seeing how the concrete had small drops of blood on it from his arm as you nearly growled at him when you heard another more mature and sophisticated voice come from the other end of the balcony.
“Little brother, don’t be such a menace to the her, that is not how we treat a lady” He said as he lightly scolded his younger brother. It was another original vampire, he walked over to join his brother as he looked at me as you could smell the blood in veins as well.
“Darling, I apologize for my brother’s behavior, my names Elijah and this is Kol how long have you been a vampire?” Elijah asked sensing your hunger as he rolled up the sleeve on his left arm.
“A few weeks, but something doesn’t feel right. I don’t know what’s happening to me” you answered the slightly older vampire as he was about to bite his wrist when Kol stopped him as he went about to bite his own wrist again when Elijah stopped him as he heard something as the demeanor in his face changed.
“Kol, wait.” He said turning his attention to his younger brother.
“What is your name, darling?” Elijah asked moving his gaze to the young girl.
“My name is Skylar” you said looking at Elijah and Kol trying to control your lust for hunger.
“Kol, brother. Get her inside, the night-walkers are still out here” Elijah said ever so protective as he guided you over to Kol who took you into his arms as he walked you inside.
“What is all this noise about? We’re someone trying to get some rest here” Klaus said as he emerged from his room as well and came walking towards you and Kol as you leaned into him more when you made eye contact with Klaus. You didn’t know why, but you were a bit intimidated by Klaus.
“I see you got a new little friend little brother, what’s your name love?” Klaus asked smiling as Kol held you closer to him as he looked at his brother.
“Her name is Skylar, now if you will excuse us Nik, we have some business to attend to” Kol said taking your hand walking past his brother with you as he led you up to his room where we prepared his wrist and bit himself once again.
“Here, drink” he said as he reached his wrist as you looked at him making sure he wasn’t teasing you this time again as you took it and slightly took his wrist up to your mouth as you started drinking from him like you haven’t had a single drop in weeks which to be honest wasn’t exactly a lie either.
At first Kol didn’t feel much and just let you full fill your thirst until he started feeling a bit squishy and tried to take his away his arm back when you growled at him grabbing onto his wrist as you kept drinking from him.
“Skylar, I think this is enough. Why don’t you take a break” He suggested when Elijah came walking by coincidentally and happened to hear his brother’s desperation as he hurries into his rescue and practically rips you away from Kol and holding you firmly as Kol sits down on a chair before he becomes too squishy from the blood loss as you calmed down again as you look at Kol.
“I’m so sorry Kol. I never meant to hurt you” you said as your emotions were now on overdrive as Elijah let go off you and Kol approached you.
“Darling, you didn’t hurt me. You have my word” Kol said as he tried to reassure you as he took you into his arms and politely asked Elijah to leave his room as he thanked him.
Kol lifted you over to the bed and placed you down on it gently as you gave him gently kisses on his wrist as you proceeded with laying your head on his chest as he had an arm around you as you dozed off in his embrace for now.
“What’s with Kol’s new little friend?” Klaus asked as he saw Elijah walk out from their younger brother’s room, closing the door quietly behind him.
“It’s nothing of your concern Niklaus, perhaps your focus would be better placed with your daughter than lurking around in our brother’s business.” Elijah explained to other younger brother as Klaus just smiled and took his hands up in defense.
“Well brother, it’s quite hard to put your focus elsewhere when she can be bloody heard all over the compound” Klaus said as Elijah just shook his head as they parted ways and went into their respective rooms again as peace yet fell over the Mikaelson compound again.
The next morning, sun light was shining brightly through the curtains of Kol’s room as he slowly woke up and gained his sense and looked to his right as he saw you laying peacefully asleep next to him. He removed a strand of hair from your face as he couldn’t bare to wake you.
As Kol lay there, watching you sleep, he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of protectiveness. Despite his mischievous nature, something about you had stirred an emotion he hadn't felt in centuries. He gently slid out of the bed, careful not to disturb your slumber, and quietly left the room.
Downstairs, Klaus was already up, pacing the living room with a brooding look. He glanced up as Kol descended the staircase. "Ah, the young lover boy awakens. How is our guest?" Klaus's tone was mocking, but there was a hint of curiosity.
Kol rolled his eyes. "She's fine, Nik. Just a bit overwhelmed. New vampires often are."
Elijah, ever the peacemaker, entered the room with a book in hand. "Kol, we need to ensure she adjusts properly. Her thirst was almost uncontrollable last night."
Kol nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I know, Elijah. I'll take care of her. She needs guidance."
Klaus smirked, leaning against the doorway. "Guidance? Or are you just enjoying playing the hero for a pretty girl?"
Kol shot him a warning look. "It's not like that, Nik. She needs our help."
“How can we be sure she is who she claims to be?” Klaus asked looking at his brothers with a smug smile.
“Now what’s that supposed to mean? Of course she is who says, Nik don’t be ridiculous” Kol said annoyed by his brother’s accusations.
"Kol, brother, how is the girl?" Elijah asked, gesturing for Klaus to be quiet, closing his book and giving his full attention to his brother.
"Resting. She was absolutely ravenous last night," Kol replied, a hint of concern in his voice. "I haven't seen such hunger in a newborn in a long time. It's almost as if she's been neglected."
Elijah nodded thoughtfully. "It's not uncommon for newly turned vampires to struggle with controlling their hunger. But there’s something more to her, isn’t there? Did she mention who turned her?"
Kol shook his head. "No, she didn’t say much about her past. Just that she's been a vampire for a few weeks. She seems... different, Elijah. There's a fire in her eyes, a strength that's unusual for someone so new to this life."
Elijah leaned back against the wall considering Kol's words. "We'll have to keep an eye on her. If she's truly as unique as you say, she could either be a great ally or a dangerous threat.” Elijah added to the conversation.
“May I inquire with something, you see while you were busy playing into her tricks and games, I did some digging with a little help from our dear sister Rebekah” Klaus started as Elijah sighed loudly at his brother.
“Niklaus….” Elijah said as Klaus continued to speak his mind.
“Brothers, allow me. She was sent here by the very wolf boy from Mystic Falls, who seeks revenge against me and this is his way of getting under my skin, our skin” Klaus said as Elijah considered his words carefully as whereas Kol wasn’t buying any of it.
“Come on, Elijah, you saw her when she came in here last night. You really think she’s on some revenge mission carrying out some big plan set by Tyler Lockwood? She’s not like that” Kol asked his older brother in disbelief as Klaus just started laughing as Kol and Elijah looked at him.
“You’ve known the girl for less than a day and already you put your faith in her” Klaus said his distrust in Skylar crystal clear.
“Niklaus, Kol is right. I don’t believe she is our enemy. For now, we should focus on helping her adjust to her new reality." Elijah added in.
Kol looked at his brother and nodded in agreement, but his thoughts were still with you, sleeping peacefully in his bed. He couldn’t shake the feeling that you were destined to be a part of their lives, for better or worse.
You woke up to the soft morning light filtering through the curtains, feeling more rested than you had in days. As you slowly opened your eyes, you realized you were alone in Kol’s room. The events of the previous night came rushing back, and you felt a pang of guilt for having lost control.
Before you could dwell on it, the door creaked open, and Kol stepped in, carrying a tray with a glass of blood. He smiled warmly when he saw you awake.
"Good morning. I brought you something to help with the hunger," he said, placing the tray on the bedside table.
"Thank you," you murmured, taking the glass and sipping it gratefully. The blood was fresh, and you could feel your strength returning with each sip.
Kol sat down on the edge of the bed, watching you intently. "How are you feeling, love?"
"Better," you admitted, setting the empty glass back on the tray. "I'm sorry about last night, Kol. I didn’t mean to—"
He held up a hand to stop you. "There's no need to apologize, darling. It's only natural for a newborn to struggle with their hunger. We'll help you learn to control it."
You nodded, feeling a wave of relief wash over you. For the first time since you had turned, you felt like you might actually have a chance at surviving this new life.
"Thank you, Kol." you said sincerely.
He smiled, reaching out to gently tuck a stray lock of hair behind your ear. "You're one of us now. We'll look after you."
As you looked into his eyes, you felt a flicker of hope. Maybe, just maybe, you had found a place where you belonged.
---
Over the next few days, Kol and his brothers worked tirelessly to help you adjust. You spent hours with Elijah, who taught you the history and intricacies of vampire lore, instilling in you the importance of control and discretion. Klaus, despite his initial skepticism, offered you tips on navigating the supernatural world, his tough love approach masked by a surprising patience when you struggled.
Kol, however, was your anchor. He guided you through the physical aspects of your transformation, teaching you to hone your heightened senses and control your newfound strength. The bond between you grew stronger with each passing day, his protectiveness and genuine care a constant reassurance.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the mansion in a warm, golden glow, Kol suggested a walk through the nearby woods. You hesitated, the memory of your last uncontrollable hunger still fresh in your mind, but his gentle insistence won you over.
As you strolled through the forest, the sounds of nature heightened in your ears, Kol spoke softly, his voice a soothing presence. "You're doing exceptionally well, you know. Far better than I expected."
You smiled, a mix of pride and humility in your expression. "I couldn't have done it without you. All of you."
He stopped, turning to face you, his eyes searching yours. "There's something special about you. I felt it the moment I saw you. It's not just your strength, but your spirit. You're meant for something greater."
Before you could respond, a rustling in the bushes drew your attention. Kol's posture shifted instantly, his body tense and alert. A figure emerged from the shadows, a tall man with an air of authority and a hint of menace in his gaze.
"Ah, Kol Mikaelson. It's been a long time," the man said, his voice smooth yet chilling.
Kol's eyes narrowed, his protective instincts flaring. "Lucien. What are you doing here?"
Lucien's gaze shifted to you, a predatory smile playing on his lips. "I heard about the new addition to your little family. Thought I'd come and see for myself."
You felt a shiver run down your spine as Lucien's eyes bore into you. Kol stepped in front of you, his stance defensive. "Stay away from her, Lucien."
Lucien chuckled, a low, sinister sound. "Relax, Kol. I'm not here to cause trouble. Just curious about what makes her so special."
Kol's jaw tightened. "Curiosity killed the cat, Lucien. Remember that."
Lucien raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright. No need to get testy. I'll be on my way. But remember, Kol, there's more at play here than you realize. Keep a close eye on your new friend."
With that, Lucien melted back into the shadows, leaving an uneasy silence in his wake. Kol turned to you, his expression a mixture of concern and determination. "We need to be careful. Lucien is dangerous, and if he's interested in you, it means something is brewing."
You nodded, your heart pounding. "What do we do?"
Kol took your hand, his grip firm and reassuring. "We stick together. No matter what."
As you walked back to the compound, you couldn't shake the feeling that your presence had stirred something in the supernatural world, something that could change everything.
As you entered the compound you were greeted by Klaus who was talking to Marcel and Davina, as Kol’s look locked on the young witch Davina, who also happened to be a former lover of his that he hadn’t seen in a while.
However your presence drew attention to Klaus as he turned to face the two of you as Kol had to tell him about your meet with Lucien, but he couldn’t get his eyes of Davina for some reason when Klaus finally managed to snap him out of his so called trance.
Skylar looked up at Kol as if she could feel the deep and intense connection between them when she suddenly this weird surge of energy going through almost as a short Timelapse of Kol and Devina’s relationship played in front of her eyes while Kol was holding her hand as she became disconnected from the world around her, completely oblivious to the conversation going on between Klaus, Kol, Devina and Marcel.
When Devina noticed something was off about Skylar and said Kol’s name to get him to look at her as Klaus became interested as well despite his suspicions when you came back to reality and your legs gave out beneath you as Kol caught you before you hit the ground.
“Elijah, Freya!” Klaus yelled as they soon were rushing down alarmed when Elijah saw Skylar on the ground in Kol’s arms.
"Kol, what happened?" Elijah's voice was calm but laced with urgency as he knelt beside you.
Kol shook his head, his eyes wide with worry. "I'm not sure. We were just talking, and then she had some sort of vision or... I don't know, Elijah. One moment she was fine, and the next..."
Freya joined them, her expression equally concerned. She placed her hand on your forehead, closing her eyes as she concentrated. "There's a powerful energy around her. Something ancient and potent. It's like she's tapped into some kind of... magical conduit."
Kol, his impatience evident, demanded, "What does that mean for her? Is she in danger?"
Freya's eyes opened, meeting Kol's with a mixture of confusion and certainty. "Not immediate danger, but we need to understand what just happened. She's linked to something or someone—perhaps even to the ancestral magic of New Orleans itself."
Marcel, who had been observing silently, spoke up. "Davina, you might be able to help. You have a strong connection to the magic here."
Davina nodded, stepping closer. She extended her hand towards you, her eyes filled with a determined resolve. "I'll see what I can do."
As Davina began to chant softly, you felt a warmth spreading through your body. The fragmented images that had overwhelmed you earlier started to coalesce into something more coherent. You saw flashes of Kol and Davina's past, their love and their pain, intertwined with glimpses of your own future—a future fraught with challenges but also brimming with potential.
The vision ended as abruptly as it began, leaving you gasping for breath.
Kol's grip on your hand tightened, grounding you as you came back to reality. "Skylar, what did you see?"
"Kol," you began, your voice trembling slightly. You took a deep breath, your voice shaky but resolute. "I saw your past with Davina,”
"I don't know what just happened, but I felt everything. Your pain, your love, your loss. It was like I was there, living it all with you." You continued.
Kol nodded, his expression softening. "I felt it too, Skylar. And it only confirms what I've known all along. You are special, more than any of us realized."
Freya cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention. “If these visions are true, we need to prepare. Lucien’s appearance might be more than just a coincidence.”
Klaus nodded, his eyes steely with determination. “Then we will prepare. We need to fortify our alliances and understand Skylar’s connection to this magic.”
Kol helped you to your feet, his eyes never leaving yours. “Whatever happens, we’ll face it together.” He said as you leaned into him and he held you close.
“Skylar, if you will allow me. I can perform a spell to maybe tap into whatever it is you seem to hold” Freya suggested. She looked at up at Kol as she hesitated a bit.
Elijah exchanged a worried glance with Klaus. “This connection between you and Kol is the key. We need to explore it further, but with care. Skylar’s well-being is our top priority.”
Freya moved closer to Skylar, her voice gentle. “I promise, we’ll take it slow. But we need to uncover the truth. For all our sakes.”
Kol’s eyes softened as he looked at Skylar, his hand brushing a strand of hair from her face. “We’ll get through this together, Skylar. You’re not alone.”
Skylar nodded, feeling a renewed sense of determination as Kol and Freya led them into her study soon followed by the curious eyes of Elijah and Klaus.
As they entered the room they were faced with a protective circle that Freya created and inside the circle Skylar and Kol sat on their knees across from each other.
Skylar, still shaken from the vision, looked at Kol with a mixture of gratitude and uncertainty. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself as she turned to face Kol as she placed her hand on the side of his cheek.
“Trust me Kol” she said as they both closed their eyes as she showed Kol what exactly she experienced as Elijah and Freya shared a confused glance with each other as Klaus’ distrust in Skylar came forward.
“Now what is this? Are we sure we can trust her?” Klaus asked in suspiciousness over Skylar as Elijah led him out of the room.
“Niklaus, take it easy. She came to us for a reason. She came to Kol for a reason” Elijah said calmly trying to reason with Klaus who didn’t seem to buy any of it.
“She’s currently infiltrating Kol’s mind, how can we be sure she wasn’t sent by someone?” Klaus said as Elijah went quiet as they looked back into the room at Skylar and Kol as Kol grabbed Skylar’s other hand as Skylar started bleeding from her nose as Elijah ignored Klaus’ question for now and went back into the room looking concerned at Freya.
“Freya what’s happening?” He asked looking at sister concern etched on his face and Freya, usually composed and knowledgeable, was at a loss. The unexpected nosebleed from Skylar had thrown everyone off balance. “I… I don’t know,” she admitted, her brow furrowed in worry. “This isn’t like any magic I’ve encountered before. It’s as if…” She trailed off, uncertain how to articulate her thoughts.
As tension mounted in the room, Klaus’s suspicion hung heavy like a thundercloud. His distrust of Skylar’s intentions was palpable, casting a shadow over the fragile peace that had momentarily settled among them.
“Elijah, this is madness,” Klaus exclaimed, his voice tinged with a blend of anger and concern. “We can’t afford to be naive. Lucien’s cunning knows no bounds. We must consider every possibility.”
Elijah, ever the diplomat, sought to diffuse the situation before it escalated further.
“Quiet, Niklaus” Elijah said as Klaus listened to him and remained silent for now.
“Freya, is there you can do?” Elijah asked as Klaus’ impatience and suspicion clear as he paced the room, his eyes flicking between Skylar and Kol with distrust.
Freya hurried to Skylar’s side, placing a hand on her shoulder. “I… I’m not sure what’s happening,” she admitted, her brow furrowing in concentration. “Their connection is stronger than I anticipated.”
Elijah’s gaze hardened as he assessed the situation. “Kol,” he called out firmly, his voice cutting through the room. “Release her. Now.”
But Kol remained unresponsive, his grip on Skylar tightening. His expression was a mix of protectiveness and confusion, as if caught between worlds. Blood continued to trickle from Skylar’s nose, a sign of the strain on her fragile form.
“Enough, Kol!” Elijah’s tone grew urgent. “You’re endangering her!”
Freya’s hands moved deftly, weaving a spell of separation. “I’m trying to break their connection,” she murmured, her voice strained with effort. “But it’s not working.”
Klaus, unable to contain his anxiety, approached cautiously. “What did she show you, Kol?” His voice softened slightly, betraying his concern for his brother’s well-being amidst his suspicion of Skylar.
Skylar’s breathing grew shallow, her face pale as she struggled against the overwhelming force of the connection. Finally, with a surge of power, Freya managed to sever the link. Kol staggered back, releasing Skylar who collapsed into Elijah’s arms, unconscious and drained.
As Elijah tended to Skylar, checking her vitals, he scooped her up and took her to Kol’s room placing her down on the bed, feeding her blood from his wrist.
In study Klaus turned to Kol with a mixture of relief and lingering distrust. “What did you see?” he demanded, his voice tinged with urgency.
Kol rubbed his temples wearily, his eyes haunted by what he had witnessed. “Darkness,” he murmured. “A darkness that’s hunting her, consuming her.”
Freya’s brow furrowed as he processed Kol’s words. “Lucien,” he concluded grimly. “He’s behind this.”
Klaus clenched his fists, his resolve hardening. “Then we find him,” he declared, his voice resonating with authority. “Before he harms anyone else.”
Kol, still shaken, glanced at Freya. "It's more than just Lucien," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "There's something ancient, something primordial tied to her. It's like she's a beacon, drawing it towards her."
Freya, her face pale with worry, nodded. "We need to find a way to protect her. Whatever this darkness is, it seems relentless."
Elijah returned to the study, his expression grave. "She’s stable for now, but whatever Kol saw, it’s taking a toll on her. We need more information if we’re to keep her safe."
Klaus paced the room, frustration evident in his every step. "This is exactly what Lucien wants. To divide us, to weaken us. We need to be proactive. We can’t wait for him to make his next move."
Freya interjected, "Kol, can you recall anything specific about the darkness? Any clues that might help us understand it better?"
Kol closed his eyes, struggling to piece together the fragments of his vision. "There were symbols... ancient runes. And a voice. It spoke of an awakening, of reclaiming what was lost."
Freya's eyes widened. "Runes? That might be the key. If we can decipher them, we might understand what we’re dealing with."
Klaus nodded, his determination unwavering. "Then we start there. Freya, see what you can find about these runes. Elijah and I will tighten security around the compound. No one comes or goes without our knowledge."
Kol looked at his siblings, gratitude and resolve in his eyes. "Thank you. All of you. Skylar means more to me than I can express. We can’t let this darkness consume her."
Freya placed a reassuring hand on Kol’s shoulder. "We won’t. We’ll figure this out together."
As the family dispersed to their tasks, Kol went up to his room and stayed by Skylar’s side, holding her hand and whispering promises of protection and love as Skylar stirred slightly in her sleep, her face contorting as if in the throes of a nightmare. Kol tightened his grip on her hand, his heart aching at her distress. He whispered soothing words, hoping to reach her through the darkness.
Meanwhile, Freya dove into her research, poring over ancient texts and tomes that lined the shelves of her study. She meticulously searched for anything resembling the runes Kol had described.
As night fell, Freya’s patience was rewarded. She found a reference to the runes Kol had mentioned. Her fingers traced the symbols on the aged parchment, her breath catching as she realized their significance.
Freya rushed to find her brothers, bursting into the courtyard with the ancient text in hand. “I found something,” she announced, her voice filled with urgency. “These runes are tied to an old prophecy. They speak of an ancient force, one that predates even our kind. It’s said to be drawn to powerful beings, using them to anchor itself in our world.”
Elijah frowned. “And Skylar is the anchor?”
Freya nodded. “It seems so. The darkness Kol saw isn’t just after her; it’s trying to use her to break through into our realm.”
Klaus’s eyes darkened with resolve. “Then we need to sever that connection. How do we stop this prophecy from coming true?”
Freya hesitated. “There’s a ritual, but it’s risky. It requires immense power and perfect execution. If we fail, it could kill her.”
Kol, who had joined them upon hearing Freya’s discovery, stepped forward. “We don’t have a choice. We’ll do whatever it takes to save her. What do we need for the ritual?”
Freya listed the ingredients and artifacts required, each item more obscure and dangerous to obtain than the last. “We’ll need to gather these quickly. The longer Skylar remains connected to this force, the stronger it becomes.”
Klaus, always the strategist, quickly devised a plan. “Elijah, you and Kol focus on obtaining the artifacts. Freya and I will work on the ritual preparation. We move swiftly and carefully. No mistakes.”
As the family united in their mission, the air around them buzzed with a sense of urgency and determination. They knew the road ahead was fraught with danger, but their bond and love for Skylar fueled their resolve.
Kol returned to Skylar’s side, determination etched into his features. He brushed a strand of hair from her face, whispering, “Hold on, love. We’ll bring you back from this. I promise.” As he kissed her forehead.
As Kol sat by Skylar’s side, the rest of the family moved with precision, each member driven by the collective resolve to save her. Freya and Klaus prepared the ritual space, gathering ancient texts and carefully setting the necessary artifacts. Their movements were synchronized, a testament to their years of working together against supernatural threats.
Elijah and Kol embarked on their mission to obtain the rare ingredients required for the ritual. Their journey took them through the darkest corners of New Orleans, from secretive witches to ancient cemeteries, each step bringing them closer to the goal but also closer to danger. Kol’s mind was only half-focused on their task; the other half was with Skylar, hoping she could hold on just a little longer.
Back at the compound, Skylar’s condition worsened. Her breaths came in shallow gasps, her body trembling as the ancient force continued to drain her. As Freya performed another small but quick spell to make her stronger as Klaus watched over her despite his initial doubts with a mixture of frustration and helplessness and despite his fears, he trusted in Freya’s ability to pull through. When Klaus decided to give Elijah a call updating them on Skylar’s condition.
Elijah answered his phone, the urgency in Klaus’s voice sending a shiver down his spine. “Niklaus, we’re making progress, but we need more time. Just hold on.”
“Hurry,” Klaus urged. “She doesn’t have much longer.”
Elijah hung up, his resolve hardening. “Kol, we need to move faster. Skylar’s deteriorating.”
Kol nodded, his determination renewed. “I know a witch who might have the final ingredient we need. Follow me.”
As they raced through the shadowed streets, Kol led Elijah to an old, decrepit house on the outskirts of the city. The air was thick with the scent of herbs and old magic. They knocked on the door, and an elderly witch named Agnes answered, her eyes narrowing with suspicion.
“We need your help,” Kol pleaded, explaining their dire situation.
Agnes hesitated, but seeing the desperation in their eyes, she relented. “Very well, but this magic is ancient and unpredictable. Use it wisely.”
Back at the compound, Freya and Klaus completed their preparations, the ritual space glowing with a soft, ethereal light. Skylar’s condition had stabilized slightly, thanks to Freya’s temporary spell, but it was clear they were running out of time.
Elijah and Kol burst through the door, carrying the final ingredient. “We got it,” Elijah announced, handing the rare herb to Freya.
Freya nodded, quickly incorporating the final piece into the ritual setup. “Take positions. This will require all of our strength and we only have one chance to do this.”
Klaus, Elijah, Kol, and Freya formed a circle around Skylar, holding each others hands, so that she can channel their power for the ritual. Freya began to chant, her voice resonating with power as the room filled with a blinding light.
Skylar’s body convulsed as the ancient force within her fought back, resisting the ritual’s power, Kol's heart breaking at her pain.
The ritual intensified, the light growing brighter and the air vibrating with energy. Freya’s chanting grew louder, her voice merging with the echoes of ancient magic. The symbols on the artifacts glowed, pulsating with a rhythm that matched Skylar’s heartbeat.
Suddenly, a dark shadow erupted from Skylar’s body, writhing and twisting as it fought to break free. Freya’s voice wavered, but she held firm, directing the power of the ritual towards the shadow. Klaus, Elijah, and Kol poured their strength into the circle, their combined will forcing the darkness back.
With a final, piercing scream, the shadow dissipated, dissolving into the air like mist. Skylar’s body went limp, her breathing shallow but steady. The light in the room faded, leaving the Mikaelsons standing in a quiet, dimly lit space.
Freya collapsed into Elijah's arms, exhausted but relieved. “It’s done. The connection is severed.”
Kol rushed to Skylar’s side, cradling her in his arms. “Skylar, can you hear me?” he whispered, his voice choked with emotion.
Skylar’s eyes fluttered open, her gaze unfocused but alive. “Kol…” she murmured weakly, a faint smile playing on her lips.
Klaus, Elijah, and Freya gathered around them, the weight of their victory settling over them. “We did it,” Klaus said, his voice filled with both relief and determination. “But this is just the beginning. We need to stay vigilant. Lucien won’t stop here.”
Freya nodded, her expression serious. “We’ll keep her safe. Whatever it takes.”
Elijah placed a reassuring hand on Kol’s shoulder. “She’s strong, Kol. And so are we. We’ll face whatever comes next together.”
Kol held Skylar close, his heart swelling with love and gratitude. “Thank you,” he whispered, looking at his family with newfound hope. “Thank you for saving her.”
As the Mikaelsons stood united, a sense of peace settled over them. They knew the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but they also knew that together, they could overcome anything. Skylar’s life, their family’s bond, and their resolve to protect each other were the guiding lights that would lead them through the darkness.

Hey! I hope your having a wonderful day <3
I was curious to see how you feel about those stories where the OC is significantly more powerful than the Mikaelson Family? Like the ones where people just add the OC as a Scarlet Witch. I honestly don’t think any of the Mikaelsons would react very well to having someone significantly more powerful than them in their vicinity. As shown in quite a few episodes. Let alone one of them being romantically involved.
Hi! I'm fine, how about you?
I'm not gonna lie, these kind of stories are hard to read most of the time, especially because the powers these ocs have are practically never executed well. Why do they have that magic, who gave it to them, how do they even manage to live having that much amount of power? If people are so desperate to have their ocs be the next Wanda Maximoff, at least try better. Make their parents a god or goddess, perhaps both, someone like Thor, Loki, Freyja, especially considering the Mikaelson worshipped the Norse deities.
I honestly don't see any of them reacting well at all, especially Klaus and Kol. For a thousand years, they believed themselves to be the most strongest beings on earth and often were proud of it, knowing it meant they were "untouchable" and the few who dared to go after them were easily dealt with (excluding Mikael). We've all seen how they reacted to their parents, Bonnie, Dahlia, Inadu, Lucien, and all the people who came close to killing them, so imagining them having to deal with someone who is in Wanda level, who can warp reality and create life from nothing would be an interesting dynamic.
Trying to kill this kind of ooc would nearly be impossible, but knowing how prideful the Mikaelson are this would not stop them at all. I can see Elijah trying to negotiate some kind of truce should the need arise, and I can easily see as well Klaus and Kol trying to seduce her/him to put themselves in their good side if they've run out of chances, but this would likely be the last option considering how much it would eat them inside to have to "yield" to someone who tried killing them/is more powerful than them.
However, Kol was also absolutely terrified of Silas, to the point where he tried to kill his sister to stop her from waking him up, so it's hard to determine with him. It's very likely in my opinion, that he sided with this ooc if he got something from it, some sort of protection or escape from his family - but this alliance would prove to be very short, as all the Mikaelson are cockroaches who can never be truly away from each other.
Rebekah, on the other hand, is a hard guess for me too, considering how short her time on both shows was. Someone more powerful than her family, than her brother, who often abused her? Depending on which Rebekah we're talking about, I can see her trying to charm her way into this ooc's heart to have a defense against Klaus. But TO Rebekah would without a doubt stand with her family against anyone.
Any Mikaelson falling in love with this person, however, is unlikely to happen in my opinion. As I said before, I can see them - all of them, to be honest - making this person fall in love with them to have her/him "under control" or to have a secret weapon, but love is a very different thing from manipulation or lust. I can easily see them developing a toxic relationship that lasts through centuries if they do happen to fall in love, and being some sort of "frenemies" with the Mikaelson, but all of this is hypothetical, of course.
Thanks for the ask!

Some one needs to explain to me why The Originals was basically just a H2O just add water cast reunion.
No, cause Phoebe Tonkin, Claire Holt and Andrew Lees were all on both TO (Hayley, Rebekah and Lucien) and H2O (Cleo, Emma and Ryan).
And Luke Mitchell who plays Will in H2O also plays Ken (the god) in Legacies.
Like the casting directors need to explain this to me.

Do you feel the ship Klaus/Lucien?
Tumblr media
As a crack/fandom ship, I love it.
As a canon ship, I don't think it happened just for the timing of it all.
The TVDU writers were cowards, passing on so many actually great love triangles. The flashbacks would have been so interesting if Klaus was into Aurora who was into Lucien who was into Klaus. Or whatever order you want it.
Lucien and Klaus to me are so interesting because Lucien is only one of like three friends Klaus has in 1000 years (including Marcel who was supposed to be his son). He and Klaus are basically the same character. They had sad backstories that they used to justify a thousand years of killing. They were both a bit psychotic but made up for it with charm and humor. They are both possessive to the point of controlling over those they claim to love. I do think they are probably too similar to have any type of healthy relationship, but they would have been a fun ship to watch while they destroyed each other. Similar to Aurora and Klaus. Or Genevieve and Klaus. Or really any of Klaus ships outside of Cami.
I will say that when they first introduced Lucien and Klaus, I thought they had seen each other more recently because of how they behaved. They didn't act like the last time they saw each other was Klaus fleeing for his life with his family after Aurora broke his heart, leaving Lucien behind. I know at that point Klaus didn't know about Elijah's compulsion and Lucien was playing Klaus so it makes sense that they wouldn't have that over their head, but it just seemed like they reunited on such good terms. Klaus not suspecting anything made no sense since he left Lucien behind in the hands of the Martels, especially after Tristan had killed Lucien. They should have at least had them reunite in the 1900s when Klaus was on his own and on a bender. Lucien, Klaus, and NH Stefan would have been a chaotic disaster. I'm just picturing NH Stefan getting jealous cause his friend has a new/old friend and Rebekah being angry that Stefan is jealous. Absolute chaos.
Lucien was such a good villain to me and them having a romantic history would have made his revenge even better. Like I get why they were angry at Elijah for taking a 100 years of their lives away from them, but it would have been easier to just go after Elijah. Yes, you go after one, you face them all, but that's also not fully true. Teenagers killed Finn and Kol and lived to see another day. Aurora hating Klaus made sense since Klaus stood by Elijah after finding out what he did, choosing his family over her again. Tristan was just power hungry and hated anyone who challenged his status, so him wanting all of the Originals dead made sense. Lucien's motivation was??? Trying to win Aurora over?? He had a thousand years and still couldn't manage it.
I would have loved Lucien's motivation to be tied more to his sire. To either be anger from unrequited love or, better, anger for his love leaving him for his family because that is such a classic Mikaelson thing to do.
Thanks for the ask!

Day 31: “fuck it we ball” day.
Day 31 for @augustofwhump.
Finally, sorry it's so late this just kept going and half way thought instead of finishing this and the last bonus prompt last night I came up with a new AU, maybe you'll see it next month or Whumptober as it has so much Elijah Whump potential.
anyway back to day 31 and Thanks to @riderofblackdragons for picking the prompts for me.
Prompts - Scars / Fresh Wounds / Tragedy
Plus a take on  "I needed you then. I don't know why you're here now"
Back to Caged Founder and following on from Rejected apology and Trap.
----
Lucien had stuck around with Klaus and followed him back to the Mikaelson compound after he had managed to call his team to escort Alexis back to his place.
While sharing her vision with the Mikaelsons was still on his list, watching the slow crumbling of Niklaus Mikaelson under the realisation of what he had allowed to happen to his brother was a Shakespearean or Greek tragedy and he didn’t want to miss a thing.
He had allowed Klaus to vanish after he first explained what little of the details he knew, for his own safety he knew better than to taunt Nik with fresh wounds, but after learning that his poor sire had spent the following days sulking in his art studio, he had needed to see it.
He really wasn’t surprised to find numerous paintings of Tristan, Aurora and most commonly Elijah is a range of style, most those of either of the Martels' were broken, stabbed and torn, Nik getting his anger out on those he could reach.
All while he sat with the various sketches and paintings of Elijah untouched watching him with various looks of disappointment.
Now after the Gala he was in no doubt Klaus wished to retreat back into the room, it was slightly to watch as Klaus was silent and tense his normal rage, his shield, gutted in the face of his loss.
A loss he hadn’t even noticed.
Still Lucien kept up his sympathetic mask, while he may have given up all his plans on killing Klaus didn’t mean in any way he was forgiving him, he was just going to watch his pain up close.
His feeling for Aurora had dulled once he realised she would never move on from her brother, she was still his oldest friend and he had learned the positives of that, being Jason’s ‘uncle Luc’ to Tristan’s powerless rage and Elijah’s annoyance, one key part.
His desire for revenge against Elijah had settled, he wouldn’t have wished Tristan’s obsessive love on anyone and for the poor sap to have fallen for the sociopathic former lord- well, they deserved each other.
Klaus was the last one on his list to see suffering and now he was getting a front row seat.
After all they were a family with a shared nephew, Klaus just didn’t know that yet.
It helps that Lucien has nothing to lose in watching the chaos; as Klaus assumes the worst of Elijah’s captivity and to Lucien’s knowledge it could have been that bad once, but time had long changed that, as Elijah doubts Tristan while Lucien knows the man will cave to keep him at his side, as Tristan hides his fears that Elijah will return to his family leaving him and the Stix behind.
As if Elijah wasn't planning on getting to keep his current life alongside getting his siblings back, after all that was what he had promised Jason.
Meaning Jason will eventually be following them to New Orleans, most likely after the prophecy had been dealt with. He had no interest in dying alongside Nik, didn’t want to lose Aurora and unfortunately couldn’t risk losing Elijah and taking all the Stix with him.
Lucien preferred his nephew with a army of vampires around him and Aurora, so he didn’t have to worry about anything other than being the best uncle.
Still that could be returned to in the morning tonight he wanted to see how far he could push Klaus over the stories about Elijah over the years.
He wanted to see if he could push him to tears, while being a good friend, of course.
However before he could really start the door opened and he choked at the sight. Freya Mikaelson, the beautiful image of power strode into the place followed by Nik’s child’s stepfather carrying Elijah in her arms.
Oh. He thought with a flare of joy, Tristan was going to panic, his precious Elijah stolen away during on of his Gala's.
"Elijah!” Klaus called, vanishing from his side to pull Elijah from the werewolf’s arms, the wolf had looked annoyed, not that Klaus had noticed his eyes only on his brother.
Jackson vanished after Freya had thanked him, saying something about not getting involved anymore in their family matters.
Poor man having not realised he was already for too involved to escape, Lucien thought and settled into one of the seats as Klaus laid Elijah out even as Freya sent him a look to make him follow Jackson.
He smiled at her, really there was only one place he’d want to be more than here at the moment and that was with Tristan when he got the news of Elijah abduction.
The seething rage at someone for taking what he saw as his warring with the paranoid insecurity that Elijah would leave him. Lucien had grown up with the count’s children, he had been sure Tristan was heartless, now he had realised that Tristan was just unsuited to love without destroying it.
Jason was just lucky that Tristan, himself, had learnt this enough to be trying to fix it now, it took him nine hundred years but then Tristan has never been as smart as he thought.
It was something oddly similar between Tristan and Klaus that likely meant any psychologist that ever met Tristan, Aurora, Elijah and Klaus together would either run away screaming or want to study.
“Maybe you should chain him up,” he offered as Nik hoovered over Elijah, more at the idea of getting to see Elijah’s reaction to waking up as chained by his own beloved siblings since he knew chains and restraints were things that always caused Elijah to tense.
His smile gave him away as Freya narrowed her eyes at him.
“Why?” Freya asked as she stood beside Nik and Elijah, the picture of protective older sister. Even glaring at him, she was lovely Lucien noticed with admiration and annoyance Mikaelson genetics were truly unfair to the rest of the world.
“Didn’t it end in a fight last time-” he offered instead of voice those thoughts, with a concerned look.
“I started that.” Nik admitted making Lucien blink, he hadn’t been sure Niklaus Mikaelson could own up to his own wrongs.
Apparently he could learn.
“Freya, wake him up.” Nik ordered, “We need to talk.”
“Yes and you have a time limit until Tristan discovers you stole his precious treasured sire.” Lucien added helpfully but was ignored.
Freya released the sleep spell over Elijah with a few words muttered under her breath; he couldn’t see when Elijah woke but he watched as both the others relaxed before Nik spoke.
“Brother, your home,” Nik explained, his voice soft in the way Lucien had only heard around Aurora and Rebekah, it seemed Elijah had now joined that group, Lucien wanted to grin knowing the man would hate that, especially after decades of being the Stix’s dear protected founder.
“Niklaus?” Elijah asked, clearly confused as he pushed himself up, Lucien waved as Elijah noticed him over Nik’s shoulder, the familiar expression of annoyance he got whenever they met.
“Freya-” Nik started to explain but Elijah spoke before he could get any more words out.
“Right and Mr Kenner was the bait, well played.” He complimented.
“Really Elijah falling for clear bait, what is Tristan going to say?” he couldn’t help but say getting twin glares from the older Mikaelson siblings,
“Shut your mouth!” Nic roared without looking at him.
“You're not angry?” Freya asked Elijah, deciding to ignore him.
“At this moment, annoyed at myself, I’ll be angry if this costs my guards their lives.” Elijah answered, “but I had wanted to meet you since I got the reports, hello sister.”
“Elijah, I-” Freya started but was cut off by Nik
“Guards, you mean wardens.”
“No, I mean bodyguards Klaus.” Elijah corrected “as in their job is to protect my person.”
“You wouldn’t need protection, if not for them.” Nik snapped,
“If that was true I never would have been caught would I?” Elijah replied, pushing himself up from the sofa and forcing Nik to step back.
“You should have tried to tell me.” Nik retourted
“I did for the first decade, I sent letters.” Elijah said, causing Nik and Freya to flinch, making Lucien wish he had more information about what caused that and he wondered if Tristan knew about the letters, had he allowed it and missed the apparently hidden messages in them or had Elijah managed to sneak them out.
“After the letters.” Nik muttered weakly.
“You only had to visit once, Klaus,” Elijah shrugged, impressing Lucien as he had been sure Elijah would let Nik off lightly in desperation to be reunited with his family, but it seemed their was a true bitterness that Elijah had decided not to swallow and hide. “even Finn noticed within the first few minutes of our meeting.”
“The Chambre de Chasse.” Klaus said after a moment making no sense to Lucien but Elijah filled him in as he spoke next.
“I assisted you to escape it.” Elijah nodded,  “what has that got to do with anything?”
“You could have told me the truth then, why didn’t you?” Nik questioned in confusion.
“What was the point?”
“I could have helped.” The feared original Hybrid appeared moments from whining as Elijah's expression remained unchanged.
“Helped with what?”
“To escape, I would have come as soon-” Nik promised, easy to say now it was in the past when Lucien was watching as he failed to ‘save’ Elijah now he was right in front of him.
“I don't need any help, I don't need to escape.” Elijah said flatly.
“You’ve been brainwashed.” Nik accused, taking a step back.
“I can help.” Freya offered
“Really?” Elijah drew himself up looking between his siblings, offended, “You think so little of me?”
“Elijah, I understand-” Freya started
“My apologies sister but our situations were very different, you were a child when mother bartered you away.” Elijah spoke, making Lucien and Nik tense as a hint of anger appeared in his tone before he took a breath.
“You know-” Freya started reaching for Elijah but Nik sidestepped to place himself between the pair.
“He’s been spying on us for years.” Nik explained
“I've had people following Klaus for the last sixty years,” Elijah agreed, “at first in case he needed help when I was otherwise occupied, then it was to find out where he was keeping our siblings.”
Elijah ignored and continued to speak as Nik sneered at the term otherwise occupied, Lucien had to agree that was a delightful way to call being kept away and treated like a pretty pet by a controlling psycho.
“The vampires that offered to help against Dahlia and the spells left for me to help undo the crescent curse, you sent them all?” Freya asked looking at Elijah with a new look
“They acted on their own but yes I sent and instructed them to assist you.” Elijah admitted, “I wasn't going to leave my family without help when I could be of use.”
“Lucien explained that they prevented you from harming them with a ritual of some sort” Nik said as if it proved a point.
“And?” Elijah replied looking between Nik and him, Lucien shrugged as he had no idea where Nik was going with it.
“How would you know they haven’t gotten into your mind as well?” Nik asked, making Elijah chuckle at the accusation.
“Lucien is aware of more of this than any of you, and since you seem to have more trust in him than myself, how about we turn to his knowledge, Lucien has Tristan managed the impossible?” ELijah asked him, leaving suddenly at the centre of their attention.
“Well, -“ he started with a smile before Elijah cut him off with an arched eyebrow.
“And do be aware I will not allow my son around a liar, so which will it be spite or sense?” Elijah warned him, he sighed only slightly put out but fine humiliating Tristan was just as much fun as adding fuel to Nik paranoia and safer too.
“If Tristan had managed to get into your brother’s head without his knowledge he would have crowed about it to me.” Lucien explained, adding “nor would he be quiet so embarrassingly whipped, indulging Aurora is a joy but no man should be that pleased when it comes to you, no offence.” he said to Elijah.
“Some taken.” Elijah replied with a smirk.
“Then why else would you fall into his bed, after they kidnapped and bespelled you.” Klaus snapped, ignoring the last comment.
“Kept you from your family.” Freya added, sharing a look with Nik, as they did, Lucien noticed the way Elijah’s hands curled into fists for a second.
Clearly someone was feeling left out, he thought with amusement as he realised it
“Because Tristan had an obsession and despite his claims of not having a heart seemed to still hold our fling with fondness.” Elijah confessed with little care “and I was bored of being chained to the wall every night.”
“Bored!? You started sleeping with that- because you were bored.”
“One must find their own entertainment when without.” Elijah shrugged.
“What about Aurora?” Nik asked, finally chasing the mild smile from Elijah’s face.
“Ah-” Elijah winced and Lucien watched as there was a small glimmer of guilt in his eyes as he looked at Klaus “that was wholly on her.”
Aurora had bragged about that to him once he had asked her himself, her joy at getting something from Elijah that Tristan wanted but couldn’t have because of his own ritual and how much she liked pushing Elijah to his limit until all his manners vanished to a monster.
“What do you mean?” Freya said as she laid a hand on Nik's shoulder.
“We could have remained distant sharing Tristan’s bed after she decided to join us, Tristan so rarely refuses her, but for some reason she didn’t want that.” Elijah explained almost trying to soften the words as he eyes Nik.
“So you had no choice.” Klaus tried,
“I had a choice,” Elijah said clearly, “She was one of the few in that place I could hurt, I didn't turn it down. I gave her what her brother wouldn’t and she allowed me to do what I couldn't, it grew from that.” Elijah continued any softening of his words at Niklaus' attempt to frame Elijah as a victim apparently, “I didn't expect it but sometimes the most important things in life are those you don't expect.”
“So you're happy as some prize of the Strix.” Nik spat the words at him, "What happened to my proud brother?"
“I'm content with everything I have now, and happy even.” Elijah told them but before anyone else could speak they were interrupted.
“ELIJAH!” The shout filled the room, and Lucien bit his cheek to stop himself from laughing at the undercurrent of distress in Tristan’s voice, he's almost sure only he noticed, far too much of the little lordling that once made his life hell than the calm collected vampire lord.
“Tristan.” Klaus snarled.
“RETURN HIM TO ME,”
“Someone never learnt to share.” he muttered to himself as he was reminded of their childhood.
“OR YOUR CITY WILL BURN!”
“Tristan” Elijah sighed, fond amusement clear in the contrast to moments before “always with the dramatics.”
“If you're harmed in any way-” Tristan's voice carried to those with supernatural hearing.
“Cease your racket,” Elijah spoke lowly, clearly meant for the one outside, which was answered as Tristan did as he was asked and stopped talking, likely listening as Elijah started towards the door. “I’m coming.”
“Stop.” Klaus demanded as he appeared in front of Elijah, but it came out without his usual confidence and sounded like the begging it was “Brother, you don’t need to go to him, we can protect you and break the spell he has over you.” Klaus offered with his arms settling on Elijah’s shoulders apparently ignoring as Elijah tensed under the touch.
Elijah was a tactile person with those he cared for and those he threatened, he didn’t like being cornered and trapped which was what Nik was clearly trying.
"I needed you then.” Elijah snapped, shrugging Nik’s hands off his shoulder and attempting to step around him “now you are simply making yourself a threat to my family."
“Elijah, we are your family.” Freya pleaded, taking a step towards him as well making Lucien tense despite himself, cornering Elijah was a terrible idea and Lucien didn’t want to be the one he lashed out at.
“You are,” Elijah offered her a soft smile which seemed to stop her from getting closer, before he added, “but my son comes first.”
“Your son should be growing up alongside my daughter, protected by our family.” Nik protested, suddenly now realising that he could use him to convince Elijah, well Nik had been the slower sibling when it came to manipulation .
“Your ideas of that involved the deaths of Tristan and Aurora, correct?”
“They can live,” Nik offered like that was a gift to Elijah, something to sweeten his demands, “as long as they run and never come near you again.”
“So I return," Elijah laid out. "leaving my life; all I have built and all the power I have in the Strix, to you, controlling my life and bringing Jason to endure the same fate.”
“Brother I've changed.” Nik claimed earning a quiet laugh from Elijah.
"That's why the your daughter's mother and her entire pack are technically still under a curse, only freed by a girl that despises you for killing her friend and her when she tried to escape your control, why most of Marcellus' friends that surrounded him before your arrival in the city are dust now." Elijah listed making Lucien eyebrow raise as he kept going, "you’ve changed, that’s the reason Rebekah is wandering the globe to find a way to bring back Kol after you interfered with his last resurrection, needing it all to go your own way, despite the alternative way my people provided.”
“I couldn’t trust them.” Nik said instead of any defence for the rest of the list but given the way Elijah blinked as his smile froze, Lucien had a feeling that wasn’t any better.
“Why?” the older Mikaelson brother asked, tilting his head slightly, “because they weren't your browbeaten underlings, because they were of the Stix or because I sent them and you were angry I hadn't returned to your side.
“I didn't know-”
"none of the matters" Elijah sighed, shaking his head slightly Nik flinched at the sound slightly as Elijah walked past him.
"Elijah-" Nik started again even though he looked at a loss of words, but then when was the last time he hadn’t been able to bully his family into accepting his terms.
“If you wish for my return you’ll have to learn to accept them, my other family.” Elijah told them before he pulled both doors open to reveal Tristan De Martel surrounded by the Strix.
“I do hope my guards are unharmed.” Elijah greeted them lightly as he stepped out of the Mikaelson compound not looking back as the sound that escape Klaus was closer to a whine than the growl he would likely claim.
Elijah wasn’t as carefree as he pretended to be, Lucien noticed as looked between the brothers a few times before he understood it, Nik was holding himself back from attacking either Elijah for walking away or Tristan and Elijah was prepared to defend against him.
Nearly hundred years apart and they still knew each other to well.
“I don’t know why, since they failed their task,” Tristan replied, running his glance over Elijah for any sign of a fight “or did you leave?”
“Not of my own free choice.” Elijah admitted.
“How did they manage to-?” Tristan started to ask
“The same way you managed to catch me all that time ago, my mistake, luck and a powerful spell.” Elijah told him annoyance clear in his sharp tone, before asking “Now how did the induction go?”
“Your Marcel lives,” Tristan answered with a smirk, Marcel must have impressed him somewhat to get that expression, Lucien realised, “Aya is introducing him to some of the others but we can speak of that back at home.”
The last part was clearly aimed at the Mikaelsons, gaining a glare from Freya and an audible growl from Nik.
The Stix, Tristan and Elijah were gone before anyone could respond.
“I really don’t like him.” Freya said into the silence.
“Welcome to the club, love.” he smirked at her lifting an imaginary glass as a toast. “Aurora, Elijah and Jason are the only ones who do.”
“Jason?” Klaus asked, oh right how much did any of them know other than his existence.
“Our shared nephew; Aurora, Elijah and Tristan’s adopted son.” he told them, smiling as he found both the remaining Mikaelson's eyes glue to him.
"Tell me everything about him." Nik demanded.
"He has two of your paintings on his bedroom wall." he started, as he settled back into the chair.
—--
Elijah waited until they returned to their bedroom, ignoring Aurora as she looked up from the bed, to turn to Tristan. Cupping his hand around the back of his neck, Tristan allowed him to cage him against the wall.
He smiled widely as he made him look up at him, cutting him off before Tristan could start speaking of restrictions and demands for his safety.
“Do not think I will allow your over controlling paranoia to ruin this, I will have my family complete.” he warned him. “I am done allowing myself to be kept away.”
It had been easier to accept, to let it happen half a world away, harder with Klaus’ desperation and promises so close.
It grated on his nerves being the outsider in the looks shared between Freya and Klaus, their long lost sister has apparently taken his place with ease.
Sixty years ago he may have accepted it and stepped away but Elijah had lost too much and fought for it all back to give it up now.
Elijah had spent a childhood of every story he managed to get out of Finn carrying the undertone that Finn would have preferred  to have Freya over him.
Elijah wanted to know what was so perfect about the sister, the one he had never known but still grew up in her shadow.
He was going to get to know his niece and reunited with his baby sister on her return.
“Had it not been your family-” Tristan started
“It wouldn't have happened,” he cut him off, had he woken up to not find Klaus so close , being so open, it would have been over before Tristan arrived. “Are you sure you wish to test me? Risk ruining the peace we have?” he asked, stepping back slightly to see Tristan following after him unconsciously.
“Like you always do when you worry, Tris.” Aurora added from the bed.
Elijah watched as Tristan looked between them, indecision clear as he debated for a moment.
“Fine.” he sighed heavily.
“Good boy,” he praised, stepping closer again to press a chaste kiss to the other’s forehead, Tristan melted into him.
True soft, sweet gestures, beyond what the ritual accidentally forced him into, were something he rarely so openly showed to Tristan and always seemed to have the largest effect on him. Elijah had learnt to reward good behaviour especially when it takes so long to train it into Tristan.

Summary: Klaus offers his home to keep you safe from Lucien.
Your eyes fluttered open to unfamiliar surroundings. The room was dark except for some light pouring in through the window. Confusion took hold of you. You should be dead. The last thing you remembered was Lucien Castle attacking you.
"Elijah," you gasped and sat up. With the aching pain in your body you knew you wouldn't be much help. Hell, you still weren't sure if you were even alive. You pinched your arm and hissed in pain. The room never changed. Well, you were no longer sleeping. You looked at your hand to see a bandage wrapped around your wrist. Your hands roamed your body to find you were patched up in several areas.
"Did I die?" You asked no one in particular. "I'm a witch so definitely hell,"
"Not quite, but close enough. Although I believe New Orleans is a little piece of heaven," Klaus answered while he leaned on the door. You smiled weakly at him. He wasn't the Mikaelson brother you hoped to see. This was the man that didn't trust you from the beginning. The murders around New Orleans happened when you and Lucien moved here. You started to see Lucien's true colors and warned the Mikaelsons. Elijah was the first to trust you.
"Elijah, is he.... is he?" You stuttered not sure how to ask if his older brother was alive.
"He is currently working with my sisters to figure out what to do with Lucien," he answered. His eyes never leaving you. A sigh escaped your body. You closed your eyes in relief. At least he didn't die. "You were very brave you know. I have known people for decades that betrayed me. You have proven to be quite useful to my family,"
"Glad I can help," you strain knowing what was out there waiting for you. Lucien would strike no doubt. His obsession with ruining Niklaus life made him angry. Your clear betrayal would definitely be your demise at the hands of Lucien. "I need to get out of here. Lucien won't stop until he can make me suffer,"
"My brother is quite taken with you, little witch. I do not believe you will be leaving here today or any day in the near future," he spoke. He walked in the room with his hands behind his back. He looked around the room with his eyes raised before turning his attention back to you.
"I don't understand," you confessed. "I have nowhere to go. The moment I can walk I'm fleeing this place before he gets a hold of me,"
"Does this room not suit your needs? We can fix it up if you'd like," he offered. "You will always have a home here,"

How do you feel about Bonnie/Lucien?
As a multi-shipper for Bonnie I just love seeing what other fans of Bonnie can come up with creatively for her. She deserves so much and better romances is just a tip of the iceberg. So why not?
It never fazes me the standards people will uphold for Bonnie but never apply those to their Mikaelson/Salvatore centered ships with a leading white girl.
Anyways…
Adult!Bonnie (least season 6-8) while she carries that moral compass she still understands everything isn’t to black and white. She accepts Damon and all his flaws (she shouldn’t but..) so I could see her being open to meeting Lucien and all his drama. Lucien gotten his broken by Aurora so potentially a second chance with Bonnie. He’s evil, but he’s nothing Bonnie hadn’t seen before. The Mikaelson’s would assume Bonnie was planning something though lmao
It doesn’t make sense why these vampires who were around for centuries have never crossed paths with a Bennett witch. But TO & LGCS together made sure to dismantle any remaining bits of the Bennett’s impact on the supernatural world because this franchise doesn’t like anyone that isn’t white.

Lucien Castle x Fem!Reader
Requested by Anon
Masterpost
Request: Anonymous asked: Lucien castle x witch fem reader Frenimes to lovers Prompt : What will this alliance cost me? If the mood strikes you Nsfw?
Storming away from the Mikaelson residence you sighed slowly and looked for a place to duck out of sight so you could gather your thoughts. You should have seen the betrayal coming.
Your rage blinded you to the shadowed figure following you until you almost collided with them as they burst into sight in a blur. “What do you want?” You seethed out through your gritted teeth. Lucien chuckled as he walked towards you. Instinctually you backed up and watched him carefully.
“I want to help you.” He answered and held up his hands as if to show he wasn’t a threat.
“I very much doubt that you want to help anyone.” You snapped and let out a quick sigh as you folded your arms and waited. You knew better than to try and leave before Lucien had spouted whatever mad rambling idea he was going to share with you.
“I simply want to make an alliance with you. You’ve been wronged. I’ve been wronged. We could make the perfect team.” He said with a wide smile that showed almost all of his teeth. You stared at him emotionlessly. “I want them gone. You help me and you will no longer be in their debt.”
“What will this alliance cost me?” You asked and glanced around the alleyway trying to find a way that this could be some sort of crazed test from Klaus.
“Ah. Well, you have me there. I suppose you would owe me for helping you.” He grinned and you rolled your eyes.
“Hmmm. Going from owing a favour to one psycho bloodsucker to another. No thanks.” You turned to leave the way you’d come, hoping the crowds of people would deter Lucien, even if the closer proximity to the Mikaelson’s didn’t. Taking one step you found Lucien in front of you.
“I really think you should reconsider.” He said with a dangerous tone. On someone who hadn’t recently pissed off Klaus Mikaelson that tone might have worked. But you simply smiled and stepped around him. “I was hoping that we could be friends.”
He tried to speed towards you but with a slight twitch of your hand, you had him doubled over in pain.
“I’m so done with bloody vampires!” You sighed out and left Lucien crumpled in the alleyway.
