sangria
pope heyward x lamb!reader
3rd installment! the one where sarah cameron gets lamb drunk at midsummers. def needs to be revised but i took too long on it so bleh
@starfxkrinc this one's for u moonybabe, it was meant for moonyday but i got caught up. here it is tho, enjoy!!
pope is your boyfriend now.
he hasn't asked you and you haven't asked him but you've been spending a lot of time together doing things that couples do. it would be wrong to assume he's not your boyfriend. at least that's how it worked in your young, inexperienced mind.
you were serious about pope. he was smart, handsome, funny, and he came from a good family in your eyes. the heywards never missed a sunday service, ever since your father came into town and all the other churches had to be shut down for development. you had no doubt your parents would love him the way you did when they met him. you could hear the church bells ringing.
maybe if pope hadn't made your mind all fuzzy with love and orgasms, you would have noticed sooner that your father was trying to set you up with rafe cameron.
it started the day after your dinner with pope. your parents came home from their anniversary trip and invited you to dinner with the camerons. you liked the camerons. wheezie always made you laugh when you talked to her. sarah was always kind to you and incredibly gorgeous. ward and rose were the picture of marital bliss but you rarely ever saw the eldest cameron. rafe. you knew who he was, you had heard stories about him that deterred you from socializing with him or his friends.
and now he was sitting across from you, staring into your soul.
that is, when you could work up the courage to look in his direction. you could feel your ears turning red under the intensity of his gaze.
"your dress is really pretty." wheezie spoke from besides you. she was insistent on sitting next to you as she always was whenever your two families got together.
"thank you. you look beautiful, wheezie." you smiled at her. the younger girl was starting to grow into that uncanny cameron beauty.
"she's really growing into a mature young woman, isn't she?" ward cameron spoke from across the table.
"ew dad." wheezie scrunched her nose in disgust.
"what?" ward looked to rose who shrugged and sipped her wine.
"anyways..." sarah spoke from her place across from wheezie. "i think i'm gonna head out, toppers picking me up." she stood up and kissed ward on the cheek, lipgloss glistening on his cheek.
"okay, be safe baby."
you wished you could go with her, you missed pope. he had been busy with treasure hunting all day, he hadn't even checked in with you.
"that girl..." rose took a big gulp of the rest of her glass of wine and you saw your mother raise her brows in silent judgement. you could always feel your mother's judgement and you can already imagine what the conversation on the ride home would sound like.
"so i hear rafe is at chapel hill. it's my lambie's first choice." your father spoke up.
"oh really?" ward asked, looking at you.
"yeah, something close to home. easy to come back whenever she feels like it. good churches in town because i know she won't make it to every service here." your father spoke for you. between him talking about you and rafe staring holes into you, you just wanted to disappear.
"i think chapel hill will be a great school for the little lamb. she'll fit right in." rafe commented, finally looking away from you to look at your father. they exchanged a look between each other that you weren't able to read.
"rafe is my legacy, where did you all go?"
"loyola." your father answered "my beautiful wife graduated from UCLA."
"you wouldn't want to go to one of your parents schools?" rafe turned his attention back to you.
you were about to open your mouth to speak when your mother chimed in for you. "she likes it here. our lamb is very... impressionable. she wouldn't do well so far away from us."
rafe nodded as your mother spoke. "mhm... and what do you think about that, lambie?" he spoke your name and laced it with ridicule. it was clear to everyone that he was mocking you.
"rafe." ward warned, shooting his son a look who only raised his hands in surrender and stood up.
"i think i'm gonna head out now too. have a good night." rafe deadpanned and walked out.
"sorry about him."
and that was that. the rest of the night was boring, you couldn't wait to get home and call pope.
your father wasn't bothered by rafe's temperament as he was motivated by forces unknown to you. he was also certain you would be able to shepherd him into the light. your mother was just as much in the dark as you but she felt the same and even liked the eldest cameron for you. she was already picking out dresses and venues, barely remembering that it would be you marrying the cameron boy one day, not her.
the second time you were cornered was when you were with your mother at the country club. the two of you played tennis every now and then. you were a decent player but you always choked under pressure. you couldn't help it, you weren't competitive like your parents. if you thought you weren't going to win, you often gave up half way and there was nothing wrong with that. you were just choosing your battles.
you were itching for the day to go by quickly. pope was working, doing grocery deliveries for his dad, and he said that he wanted to see you when he was done so he can take you out. you weren't sure where he would take you but he said his dad would let him borrow their truck so you were excited to ride in a car with your boyfriend like a normal girl.
your mom was about to serve the ball when she seen someone walking up behind you. her entire demeanor changed. "rafe!" your mother called out and waved him over to your court. your stomach dropped and you didn't dare turn around.
"ma'am." rafe greeted politely, turning on the charm around your mother. all the camerons just had that quality about them, but especially rafe. it was a charisma that bordered on frightening.
"no need for all that, call me dolores." your mother all but ran to the net to offer her hand to him.
"dolores." rafe repeated, giving her hand a kiss. he then turned to you. "lamb." he offered his hand and you reluctantly put yours in his. he rose it to his mouth and you basically yanked your hand away once he had pressed a kiss to it.
"hi rafe." you held your hands behind your back, feeling small in his presence and under his gaze. you had already forgotten about the awkward interaction at dinner but him staring you down brought it all back.
"i'm gonna grab us some water, let you kids catch up a little." your mother said, shooting rafe an encouraging look which you didn't catch because you were too busy asking God why your mom would leave you alone with rafe cameron of all people. he's never looked at you twice until yesterday and now that he's looking at you there's a look in his eyes that makes you uncomfortable.
and he just stood there for a moment, staring at you. not saying anything. you wish you knew what was going on in his head and at the same time you were glad you didn't. "i didn't know you play tennis." you nodded with a tight lipped smile on your face. "you any good?"
"not really." you looked at the floor beneath you, twirling your racket around in front of you.
rafe smiled but it wasn't the same one as he gave your mother. this one said that he knew something you didn't. "i know, i saw you playing." his comment threw you off and it was written on your face. "i can get you a teacher or something."
"oh no, that's okay." you shook your head.
"it's not okay." rafe took a step closer and you instinctively took a step back. he noticed your reaction and it amused him. "i can't let god's favorite embarrass herself like that." his tone was demeaning. rafe scared you. he seemed nice and charming enough but it was his eyes. you had never seen him enough before to notice it but his eyes were intense, deep, and calculating. he looked at you like he was trying to figure out what to do with you. you wished you could go back to before he even cared that you were alive. "yknow you never have anything to say when i'm around but you're always yapping with sarah and wheezie. what's up with that?"
your face burned in embarrassment and your lips were parted like you wanted to say something but no words managed to escape. rafe rose his brows and looked at you expectantly. your right hand rose to play with your cross necklace. thankfully, your mom came back with the water before rafe could say anything else. "thank you." you took the water and drank it, stepping closer to her side.
"we were just about to get lunch, rafe, would you like to join us?"
"i would love to dolores, but i actually have some business to attend to. we should have lunch together sometime though." he spoke the last sentence directly to you before waving a friendly goodbye and walking off.
"you're blushing." your mother mused and laced her arm through yours, walking towards the locker rooms while you wondered what had just happened and hoped it wouldn't happen again.
your phone buzzed and when you looked at it, it was a text from pope:
'i have to raincheck today, i'm sorry :('
you asked if he was okay and there was no response. you made sure to keep him in your prayers and ask the lord to watch over him and protect him.
the third time was after you had picked up your dress for midsummers from the boutique. you went with some of the girls from church who also had their dresses altered. you came home, immediately going upstairs to put the dress on, excited to show it to your parents.
little did you know rafe cameron came over to have lunch with your parents while you were out to talk business.
you saw him when you were halfway down the stairs and you stopped dead in your tracks. why did he keep showing up?
"don't keep us waiting." your mom said. "let's see it." your dad sat on the couch.
taking a breath, you descended the rest of the stairs and stopped in the middle of the room. 3 sets of eyes on you made you feel exposed. your mother looked at you in adoration, your father was analyzing the fit, and rafe was devouring you whole.
"it's a little revealing." your father examined you closely in your blue silk dress. "turn around." you had done this routine with your father ever since your body started developing at 11 years old. he would inspect you from all angles, making sure no one would get the wrong idea just by looking at you. rafe took note of this kind of obedience.
"yes, i do think it needs a little scarf or something she can wear around her shoulders. i'll find something." your mother made a mental note to find the accessory.
"you look beautiful." rafe commented, standing up and walking towards you. he was towering over you and you felt your heart pounding against your chest. it wasn't like how it was with pope. pope made your heart race and flutter and feel so full while rafe put the fear of god in you.
he offered his hand to you and once again, you stepped away from him.
"i should change." you rushed up stairs again, hearing bits and pieces of your mother saying how sweet you and him looked together.
"dear, i thought you were going to talk to her." your father looked at your mother, a disappointed look fixing itself on his face. between you and her, the pastor didn't know what to do. if his girls didn't get it together he was going to lose everything.
"i tried but you know how she is around these topics. maybe we raised her too well, the girl doesn't even think about boys. it's impossible to talk to her about it." your mother responded looking between her disappointed husband and the man she would have married if she were 20 years younger. "i'm sorry rafe, she doesn't mean to make you feel so... unwanted."
"no, no. s'alright. she needs time." rafe nodded. "she'll come around. she's a good girl."
"she is, i promise." your dad offered his hand to rafe and they shook hands, an unspoken, unholy deal being made.
you waited upstairs as long as you could without seeming suspicious. thankfully, rafe was saying his goodbyes to your parents. "rafe's leaving sweetie. come say goodbye." your mom beckoned you over and you stood as close as possible to your dad.
"bye, rafe."
"bye, lamb. i'll pick you up tomorrow around 5?" he asked. your confusion was written all over your face and you looked to your father as he spoke for you.
"she'll be ready."
"i'll see you tomorrow then." rafe turned his charm on again and smiled at you, waving a goodbye before walking away.
"what a nice young, man." your mom commented, before noticing the look of worry on your face. "you should feel lucky that we matched you up with someone like rafe cameron."
that's all it took for you to start rushing back up the stairs into your bedroom. it finally clicked in your head that your parents wanted to see you and rafe together. they didn't care how you felt, in fact you should be lucky. but you didn't feel lucky. you felt like you were being punished. while rafe had that cameron charm, you could also see it wasn't genuine and natural like sarah. rafe only turned it on when he wanted something. this time he wanted you and you can't remember the last time a cameron didn't get what they want.
you went through the motions of dinner, silently nodding as you listened to your mother ramble on and on about color coordination and rafes powder blue suit and how you should do your hair, among other things. you knew there was no getting out of this one. your parents talked about rafe as if he were a saint.
finally, you were able to shower the day off, however no matter how much you scrubbed your skin you couldn't get that dirty feeling off of you.
'pope?'
...
...
...
'yeah?'
'i miss you, can you come over?'
'i don't know
what about your parents?'
'its fine, they're going to sleep right now.
we can sit on my dad's boat.'
...
...
'i'll be there
give me like an hour'
'okay. be safe.'
it took him closer to an hour and a half, which left you plenty of time to ask forgiveness for leaving the house without permission. "i'm sorry i'm late, i got caught up in some... stuff." pope spoke as he approached you on the dock.
"it's okay- pope, are you okay?" you asked when the moonlight hit his face and you saw dried blood, shadowy bruises and a busted lip on his face. the sight made your stomach churn. "what happened?"
pope took a deep breath like he was going to tell you and then he stopped. how could he explain to you that rafe cameron beat his ass so he sunk toppers boat which resulted in another beating, without seeming like a bad person. "treasure hunting. no big deal."
you could feel that he was holding something back but you didn't press it. "do you wanna go inside? i can clean you up if you want."
"it's fine." pope leaned away from your hands that were reaching to touch your face.
"okay." you could feel his bad mood and your anxiousness swirling inside your chest and you just didn't know what to do. "how is the treasure hunt going?"
popes expression told it all. "it's over. it's gone."
"i'm sorry."
"it's not your fault." he sighed out, following you onto your fathers boat. "it was a longshot anyways. shouldn't have got my hopes up."
you couldn't help but feel like you should have prayed more for him and his friends. he told you how much he wanted this to come through and within 3 days it's gone. "maybe it's for the better? it was really dangerous anyways. i know you really wanted it but... god has a plan and this was all part of it. something better will come along, i know it."
pope only laughed bitterly. "yeah. right." he shook his head and you felt helpless. for what seemed like the first time of the night, he looked at you and read the emotions in your expression. he saw the helpless little lamb who didn't know what to do or say besides god. you had been sheltered enough to never know a godless world. a world where shit goes sideways all the time for no fucking reason at all. "you know, i'm sorry. i should go."
your eyes widened and you grabbed his hand suddenly. "what? why?"
he pulled his hand away as soon as you took it. "i'm just not in the best mood and i know you mean well, i just can't hear that right now."
"hear what?"
"that god has a plan and everything's gonna work out. that might be easy for you to believe because everything has worked out for you but it's different for me." pope felt himself getting worked up and irritated with the kind, wealthy, generous, religious freak who was worming her way into his life. and all of a sudden his cuts were burning, he could feel the seam of his socks, and there was a low ringing in his ear.
"pope, i know things are hard right now but-"
"no, you don't know." he finally snapped. "your life has been handed to you on a silver platter. me and my friends have to work for everything we have and want to have. the gold could have set me and my family for life. i'll never get another opportunity like that again. so don't sit there and tell me everything's gonna be alright when it's not." pope raised his voice at you, standing up and walking away from you. "what do you even want with me anyways?"
"pope-"
"no, actually. you're texting me all the time and inviting me over and doing things with me that you say you haven't done before." your cheeks burned under the accusation. he was looking at you with his inquisitive eyes, like you were a math problem he was trying to solve. "what do you want from me?"
"i thought you liked me. i thought you were my boyfriend." your eyes were brimming with tears. you knew he was upset but you didn't understand why he was being so mean.
"i never asked you to be my girlfriend." pope couldn't hold back anymore. all the frustration from the gold, toppers boat, and tonight that had been building up in him exploded onto you. "you sought me out. you cornered me in your dad's church, you invited me here. i never asked for this."
the heart shaped, rose tinted glasses that you've had on had shattered. a sob tore through your chest and you ran away from pope, leaving him on your dad's boat feeling like the biggest asshole in the world.
---
you woke up with no motivation to get out of bed. the new, deluded dream world you created in your head with pope at your side was crushed with one conversation. you didn't want to see him. you felt embarrassed. he was right. you went after him. you created your own reality where he was your boyfriend. you never asked him and he never asked you. you kept thinking how stupid, naive and inexperienced you were as you rotted the morning away in your bed.
meanwhile, pope was in the exact same boat.
he had left your house a good 5 minutes after bursting your bubble. he felt like shit. he knew you didn't deserve the way he had talked to you. pope's a man of science. your religious optimism and faith had got under his skin and irritated him to the point of lashing out at you. he never wanted to do that. he lied in his bed, staring at the ceiling while feeling sick to his stomach.
"you still in bed? come on, get up." heyward yanked the sheet off of pope. "get a move on, rich people ain't gonna feed themselves."
"i'll get up right now, pops."
"now, pope." heyward closed the door behind him and it took pope a second before he peeled himself out of bed. between jj in jail, the failed royal merchant, and him breaking your heart, pope didn't know what to do with himself for the first time in his life. usually, talking to jj and hearing a risky and deluded plan would bring him back to earth but now he didn't even have that. jj was in jail for him. john b had went dark. kie was at her house on figure 8 getting ready for midsummers. you were probably never going to speak to him again. he was alone.
you finally got up when your mother tore your sheets off of you. you went through the motions of getting ready. slowly but surely, your apathy turned into a pit in your stomach that threatened to swallow you whole. as your mother clothed you like a doll, you recited a prayer to saint anthony asking for him to help you find your faith again.
you almost didn't recognize yourself when you saw your reflection in the mirror. your mom had done a little more makeup than she would usually let you wear for special occasions. she had even put a red lipstick on you. "you look beautiful, honey. all grown up. here, keep this in your purse. you might need it." your mom handed you a compact and the lipstick. "let's get your hair out of these rollers, rafe should be here soon."
why did she have to say his name? you tucked the items into your little clutch that was sitting on the counter. your mom began letting your hair down, using hairspray and a comb to get it just right. "i remember doing this when i was your age. of course, i didn't have my mother to help me. i had to do it all on my own."
"thank you mom. i wouldn't know what to do if i didn't have you." you responded, almost on command as if it was a programmed response.
"i know." dolores strokes your hair. "listen mija, we need to talk about rafe. he is a man and men have certain... needs." she explained, pinning a few pieces away from your face. "as a woman, you need to fulfill those needs." you wanted to throw up and it was written all over your face. "i know we have had the talk already and we raised you to save yourself for your future husband but... a man like rafe might have certain expectations. i just want you to know that you and rafe have your father and my full support. nothing you could ever do would change that." she explained and you somehow managed to decipher the message she was sending.
it's okay to have premarital sex as long as it's with rafe cameron.
"anyways, that's... it." she fluffed your hair over your shoulders and you looked at yourself in the mirror. "you're perfect." her tone was adoring but her gaze was calculating.
"thank you, mom." you managed a half smile and stood up. "i'm going to go get my little scarf." you walked into your room, shutting the door and pressing your back against it with a sigh.
your mirror sat across the room, scarf draped over it. you looked at yourself from this angle and you saw yourself as you were. the naive little lamb trying to disguise herself as a wolf. you wished pope was around, though you didn't know why. he probably couldn't help much but when you had him, the world seemed so much brighter. anything seemed possible. now that he was gone, you couldn't find a reason to hope.
"mami! rafe's here! come down!" your mom called to you. you plucked the scarf off your mirror and descended the stairs to your most certain doom.
-----
pope had anticipated seeing you at midsummers. your family were prominent members of the island club as soon as you touched down in the OBX, whereas most people had to wait years and years to even be considered. your mother even began organizing the annual cotillion. your father had bought a plot of land to expand the golf course. he simply didn't anticipate seeing you hanging off rafe cameron's arm.
how does that even happen?
rafe cameron didn't go to church. rafe cameron was a raging cokehead that terrorized his friends for years. a raging cokehead that had just given him two beatings. you didn't know but if you did would you still have come here with him?
you had been in a catatonic state since he picked you up and it was beginning to scare rafe. rafe didn't mind that his dad arranged the situation. it helped his reputation ever since the whole drunk and disorderly conduct scenario when he was away at school. rafe also liked the idea of owning you, and being able to turn you into the perfect woman for him. one that he could easily do whatever he wanted with because you would never leave. marriage is sacred and divorce doesn't exist in your dad's church. still, it unnerved him how you were barely reacting to anything around you. you were shy and closed off before but tonight the lights were on but nobody's home. it wasn't cute anymore, it was weird. "hey, i'm gonna grab us drinks. what do you want?" you turned your gaze to rafe and shrugged your shoulders. rafe only nodded and turned to go to the bar.
you were all alone in the crowd and finally able to breathe. you just needed to be patient and this would all be over soon. your parents never stayed out past 10pm. they would be taking you home in mere hours. you could do it.
"hey, girl." sarah cameron grabbed your arm and began walking in the opposite direction of rafe, topper and kelce. "why didn't you tell me you were coming with my brother?"
"i didn't even know..." you managed to mutter. she continued walking towards a table hidden between all the surrounding bodies.
"wanna drink?" she offered a cup to you and you nodded, taking the straw between your lips and drinking. one the liquid hit your tastebuds you cringed.
"is this alcohol?"
"yeah, scarlet was able to sneak some of the sangria. it's okay with you right?" sarah asked. she reminded you of eve. a beautiful temptation. you were going to bite the apple.
"yes." sarah looked at you and smiled. she was definitely curious about you. the pastor's daughter that john b said pope was messing around with. the same girl who was here at midsummers with her brother and drinking with her.
"good." sarah smiled at you, drinking from the cup while it was still in your hand. she watched you drink a bit more and get adjusted to the taste.
and then she grabbed your hand and began dragging you to the dance floor. "i love this song." she held your hands and danced with you. "you know, you never really go out. i know you're religious and everything but even the other church kids come to parties."
"i'm not much of a party person." the alcohol was making you a little more loose as you were awkwardly swaying with sarah to the sound of some 2010 pop hit.
you were grateful for sarah whisking you away with her. topper and rafe had managed to entertain themselves once they accepted the both of you were staying at each others side. you two had the mutual understanding that you were both avoiding the guys you were supposed to be with. it made it easier to let yourself succumb to the effects of the sangria.
"jj?" you heard sarah say as she span you around and into someone.
"sorry mr. dunleavy." you muttered, clearing your throat and gaining the tiniest bit of composure.
"i got a note from, uh, vlad." jj held a note between his fingers. when your vision managed to focus, you noticed the bruises on jj's face.
"from vlad?" sarah asked, a smile spreading across her face.
"yeah."
"okay."
"just read the note." jj turned around and walked away as you and sarah looked at the note. in the background, your date began harassing jj.
"i gotta go." sarah breathed out and you nodded.
"go, go." you encouraged, turning to jj. you needed to save him. "rafe!" you called out and his eyes snapped in your direction. it was a complete jekyll and hyde. you were emotionless and using your scarf as a defense mechanism and now the scarf was discarded and your strap was falling off your shoulders. "come dance with me. please?" he couldn't refuse. not when your skin was flushed and dewy. he could tell you had been drinking and that intrigued him even more. the little lamb was straying from the light, without his own influence.
rafe came over to you and jj managed to evade his friends. your heart began thumping behind your chest again. you had almost forgotten how imposing rafe's presence was until his frame was shadowing yours. "where's your scarf?" he asked, trailing his hand up your arm to adjust your strap back on your shoulders.
"mm..." you shrugged.
"gettin' all shy on me again?" he pulled you in closer by the waist and you gasped. "thought you wanted to dance?" you couldn't say anything. you could only rest your head on his chest and wait for the song to be over. when you opened your eyes and peered across the room, you met pope's eyes.
your heart sank. he was looking at you with disappointment all over his face and suddenly you felt dirty. you wanted rafe to get off of you. you felt like you needed to walk through a fiery hellscape to pay for what you've done.
"i need the bathroom." you pushed yourself off of rafe and stumbled your way towards the bathrooms.
pope followed from a distance.
you locked yourself in a stall and soon after, pope was making sure you were alone before locking the door and waiting for you to be done.
when you came out, you were reasonably startled by his presence. "pope." all your feelings about him were rushing back to you. you missed him, but you were mad at him. you couldn't shake all the things he had said to you. you also felt guilty. you showed up the next day with a date.
the silence weighed heavy between you two. "you look nice." pope was analyzing you from head to toe. there was something that was slightly off about you.
"thanks."
"rafe cameron, huh?"
"my parents." you responded quickly, ready to explain yourself. "they arranged this without telling me. i had no idea."
"is this what you were trying to tell me last night?" he asked and you nodded. another silence fell over you two. "i'm sorry for blowing up at you. i had no right."
"i forgive you, pope." you stepped closer to him. "i miss you."
"i miss you too." he breathed out, stepping closer to you.
"i just... i think now... i don't think we can be together right now." the alcohol was now making you emotional and your eyes were welling with tears.
"what's wrong?" pope furrowed his brows.
"my parents want me to be with rafe cameron and i don't really have much of an option. they won't listen to me. i'm stuck with him."
pope was never quick to anger but his blood was boiling at this point. rafe fucking cameron just had to take everything from him, didn't he? it wasn't enough to be the son of the richest man on the island who had everything he ever wanted. he had to have you too. and of course your parents would support the union. it was like everything was going sideways for him and he never had a chance to try to get it straight again.
"i'm not gonna let that happen." pope took your hands. "rafe doesn't deserve you. none of them do. i don't."
"pope..." you whispered, feeling your heart skip a beat. it wasn't like how it was with rafe. you felt safe with pope.
"shhh... you're the closest to heaven i'll ever get to." pope held your face with one of his hands, letting it trail down the side of your neck. his hands found your shoulders and then went down to your waist. with every touch he was making you clean again. "i won't let them desanctify you."
pope's intellect was one of the most attractive things about him and his words had you whimpering. "kiss me" and he complied, taking your lips in a deep, slow kiss. it was sweet like honey, his tongue massaging yours as you let yourself go limp in his grasp. he repositioned you, pressing you against a counter and then lifting you up to sit on it. from this position, between your legs, the two of you began rutting your hips together.
you were gasping and arching in reaction to every touch. pope slid the straps of your dress down your shoulders, revealing your already hardened nipples to the air conditioned atmosphere. kissing down your neck, pope took one of your nipples in his mouth and used his tongue to play with it. he was enjoying the reward of your airy moans as he ravished your breasts with opened mouth kisses.
"pope, i need you." you placed your hand on his head, stroking his hair. "please?" you opened your legs even wider for him, bunching your dress up to reveal the wet splotch on your white cotton panties.
"fuck." pope breathed. it was all for him. "are you sure?"
"i need you right now or i'm gonna melt." you whined and pressed yourself against him, making him groan. pope pulled his pants down just enough to reveal his cock. the tip was already glistening with precum and the thought of having it inside you sent another gush of arousal to soak your panties. pope was lost in you once again. it was like once you started teasing and begging, he couldn't help himself. not when you made noises everytime he grazed a finger against you. it was like a chemical reaction. the two of you were bound to bond together like this.
he pulled your panties to the side and licked his lips at the mess between your legs. a sticky, wet mess glistening all over your pussy lips. he tapped the head of his cock against your clit, making you twitch. "pope, please... please, please..."
when you begged like that, he couldn't help but comply. his cock found it's place between your lips and he marveled at the sight. gone was any thought of the party happening outside. it was only him and you.
he coated himself in your wetness before pressing the tip against your entrance. it was a tight fit but once he successfully breached your hymen and was fully nestled inside you, you managed to open your eyes and look at him. tears had streamed down your face leaving faint trails of mascara. looking into his eyes you nodded, giving pope permission to move. he pulled out of you slowly, pushing back in at the same speed. you were gripping onto the counter, watching as he continued these slow and precise strokes.
pope was in heaven. it was taking everything in him to not finish early. he continued to give you long and deep strokes. the both of you watched his cock sliding in and out of you, getting wetter with each stroke.
"oh god..." you moaned out, eyes fixed at where you and pope were joined together. "ohhhh..." the tears kept streaming. you had never felt this good in life. the stretch was unbelievable but you welcomed it. "more..." you leaned up, pressing kisses to his neck.
his next thrusts were shorter and harder. you wrapped your arms around his neck and began pushing your hips against his. the sound of your wet skin slapping against his filled the empty bathroom. he was groaning in your ear, hands under your ass helping you meet his thrusts. "oh fuck..." that word never sounded as good as it did coming from pope's lips. you kissed him and the two of you were swallowing each others moans.
and then he flipped you. pope bent you over the counter and you were faced with your reflection. you looked a mess. your hair was frizzing up from the sweat you had been working up. most of your makeup was in tact but streaks of your tears had marred the face your mother spent time crafting.
it didn't take long for that thought to be filled by pope as he gripped your hips and pressed into you from a new angle. your eyes rolled back and pope watched your expression in the mirror. with every thrust, you looked so angelic. as if your entire existence was consumed by pleasure. your lips were parted, red and swollen from all the kisses he had given you. you were letting out these cute little short moans with each thrust.
KNOCK
KNOCK
KNOCK
pope freezes inside you. your eyes snap open. there is a brief silence before there is another three knocks on the door.
"is that you little lamb?" rafe's voice comes from the other side of the door.
you meet pope's gaze in the mirror and he nods at you. "y-yeah..." you shakily spit out.
"you okay in there?" he asks, tone condescending. "look, i know you had a couple drinks. i'm not gonna tell on you-"
"rafe, i'm not feeling good." you spoke, just wanting him to leave. you were twitching around pope and he wasn't helping considering he gave you a sharp thrust that made you gasp.
"you want some help? i know a thing or two." rafe tried opening the door, the handle jiggling with the attempt.
"no!" you answered as pope began to find his rhythm again.
"okay... do you want me to get sarah?"
"nooooo..." you trailed off into a moan which didn't make rafe think too much. "i'll be fine." you struggled to get the words out while pope set a punishing pace.
"okay, well i gotta go. just make sure you're fine to get a ride home with your parents. don't need them thinking i'm a bad influence." rafe said.
popes fingers found your clit and you struggled to hold it together. "ok-aaaayyyy..." your face was pressed against the counter as pope dug your little pussy out.
"goodnight lambie."
you tried to listen to the sound of his footsteps descending as pope pounded your cunt raw and aching for release.
"please..." you were begging again and it made pope feel godly. like he was the only one who could fill this need for you.
"anything." he answered. "whatever you want." his fingers flicked your clit with more speed as his thrusts became sloppier and sloppier.
everything was silent.
your orgasm tore through you. surely, you were making noise but you couldn't hear it. your pussy pulsed rapidly around pope's cock and you could only feel a wave of heat lighting your body on fire as pope continued to thrust until he finished inside you.
you stayed connected like that for a while. pope pressed gentle kisses to your back. he pulled out from you with a pop. his cum began to trickle out of you and he leaned down to lick it up. you whined weakly as he feverishly cleaned you with his mouth. when he was done, he pulled your panties back into place and adjusted your dress on your body before tucking himself away. he hugged you from behind. "you mean a lot to me. thank you." he whispered into your hair. "i want you to be my girlfriend."
"i want you to be my boyfriend." you leaned back against his chest.
"i promise, i'll fix all of this." he let you go, grabbing some tissue and helping you fix your makeup. you only prayed to god he was right. pope kissed you hard before he left. he had research to do. he was going to get to the bottom of the camerons and your family's relationship.
you spent the last 30 minutes of the night with a tired, dazed, and blissful expression on your face. your parents gave the credit to rafe.

Excerpt from this story from Canary Media:
A newly published study examining property values near dozens of large Midwest solar farms has found no significant negative impact — and even a slight positive effect — from the projects, according to the data.
Loyola University researcher Gilbert Michaud has attended scores of community meetings about proposed solar projects, from the Midwest to rural France. In past research, he quantified that property values were the most common concern brought up in local hearings about proposed utility-scale solar in Europe — and he’s seen similar trends in the U.S.
And while solar arrays may have an aesthetic impact, property values are influenced by a wide range of other factors, such as the quality of schools and the local economy.
“I’ve observed a lot of the negative comments framed as ‘I think’ or ‘I saw something on social media,’” said Michaud, an assistant professor of environmental policy at the School of Environmental Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago. So he sought to “elevate the discussion from ‘I think, I think, I think’” by injecting it with some hard data.
His latest study, published in the December 2024 issue of the journal Solar Compass, looked at property values surrounding 70 utility-scale solar projects in the Midwest and found they actually had a minor positive effect — increasing values by 0.5% to 2%.
“While the impact itself — of a few thousand dollars — might not be incredibly meaningful,” said Michaud, “clearly these projects drive economic development in rural communities, through jobs, tax contributions, et cetera, which in turn increase residential property values.”

FEATURE: Welcome to Mobile Legends: UP Fighting Maroons debriefs inaugural UAAP stint
The UP Esports Varsity Team (UPEVT) recently concluded its campaign in the very first season of UAAP esports, where the school proudly sent its 6-player roster for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (ML:BB). With the national ML:BB phenomenon fostering a continuously growing and thriving community, it’s no surprise that some iskolars ng bayan have found enjoyment and even competitive prowess in the game! I spoke with Aerol Dwayne Balayon, their team manager, and David Lawrrenz Sañejo, their team captain—and here’s what they have to say about it.
The roots of the UP Esports Varsity Team
The UPEVT is a new development created due to the recent introduction of esports in the UAAP. But before it was established, there was already an existing ML:BB team operating within UP Diliman: UPD Oblation Esports, the esports arm of the UP Gaming Guild. “When we were representing UPD Oblation Esports, we weren’t the official representative of UP for anything—any collegiate tournament, or any tournament for that matter. Now that we’re a varsity team, we’re the officially recognized team to represent UP,” Balayon explained.
Sañejo, before he entered UP in 2022 as a BS Computer Science student, was a former player for Ateneo de Manila University’s Loyola Gaming Esports. “When I knew that there were talks of esports being in the UAAP, at first I couldn’t believe it. We’d been expecting this for the longest time because I was one of the first to hear rumors about this way back in 2022 when I was still playing for LG Esports,” he claimed. “We were probably the ones who suggested, ‘what if UAAP had ML?’ That’s where it all started, and it’s been a long time coming.”
In an interview during an ML:BB Professional League (MPL) Philippines match on August 31, UAAP Esports Commissioner Monique Monasterio said, “Since it was the first time having esports in the UAAP, we want it to be really inclusive, so we looked at having multiple platforms. Mobile was one of the platforms we wanted to include, and of course, we decided on the most popular mobile game in the country. So it was definitely a given that MLBB would be a part of UAAP Esports.”
On the other hand, Balayon would attribute the talks about UAAP Esports with the largest collegiate leagues such as AcadArena Alliance Games, Estudyante Esports, and the Collegiate Center for Esports. “Those are the previous organizations that spearheaded the movement with collegiate esports in general. And I think that it’s just natural that since esports is kind of popular with college students nowadays, it’s going to trickle down eventually to UAAP.”
It certainly took a while for the idea of UAAP Esports to catch on, as the plans for the tournament were only put into action shortly before the opening of UAAP Season 87.
“I think the talks about it started last year, around October,” Balayon recalled. “Of course, we got excited. Eventually, it was announced; originally it was announced to start in May, but then it got moved again and again until such time that the official and final date happened last August.”
When asked about any given reasons as to why it was being moved, he replied, “They didn’t give an explicit answer but we can assume that it was because of logistical reasons. I think they couldn’t find a venue that could handle esports production. They were struggling to find a place that could cater to all those esports needs for production.”
Despite UP being the host for UAAP Season 87, UAAP Esports was held on August 13-21 in Areté, an art center located in the Ateneo de Manila University campus.
Prepping and planning for UAAP Esports
Before the UPEVT could play for the UAAP, they first had to gather the best ML:BB players among the UP community to form the team. But one roadblock they didn’t expect to face was how they couldn’t just handpick from the existing UPD Oblation Esports lineup, where there was no shortage of talent and potential. “When we originally pitched to the UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development, they didn’t agree to the arrangement that we’re just going to send our best team,” Balayon said. “They wanted a fair and open tryouts for everyone, so we had to announce to the entire UPD community that we’re opening tryouts for UAAP Esports.” After the announcement was posted on the UPD Oblation Esports Facebook page, aspiring varsity players signed up and underwent a week of tryouts.
Aside from forming a new roster, the team also needed to find ways to support their lineup. They were faced with the challenge of providing for all the team’s needs and expenses. “We had to start from scratch, essentially with zero money. We had to make sure we had a lot of sponsors. The only allowance that was given to us by UP was for our uniforms. We can’t really allocate that for anything else, because that was the particular for that money,” Balayon revealed. In addition to uniforms, the players also needed a place where they could practice together. “We had to ask one of our players to house the team for a while for their practice.”
“We went to an almost two week bootcamp,” Sañejo added. “We lived together—we woke up together, we ate together, and we then played together. It went down for around 10 days where we just trained for the whole day.”
The two further discussed the training process the team underwent. Sañejo briefly described what scrimming is, which is what the usual ML:BB team does to practice. “We had to take scrims, which is scheduling a training or match against other schools. To sum it all up, our training consisted of just spamming our playing, a lot of rank games, and also scrimming at the same time. That was the core of what we were doing to prepare for the UAAP.”
“We already have a pipeline of getting scrims; we’re already in group chats with other collegiate teams, international teams, local teams, [and] amateur teams. It was just a matter of scheduling those scrims,” Balayon supplied. “Right after those scrims, we would usually have a VOD (video on demand) review as well; the scrims that we have would be recorded, and after that, regardless of the result of the scrim, we’d review the videos so that we take note of the points we can improve on not only in-game but also [with] communication between the players. If there are days that we can’t secure scrims, if no one is available, then we’d let the players do rank games instead.”
“That goes to show how much passion we were showing and how much hunger we showed to just win and represent our school, because UAAP… it’s a big thing,” Sañejo concluded.
Roster revealed, all troops deployed
On August 12, 2024, the six-member lineup was revealed: Diego Aguila, Joseph Brylle Geronimo, Kin Calvin Martinez, John Lloyd Ramirez, Ralph Laurence Silva, and Sañejo were announced as the representatives of the UP Fighting Maroons for UAAP ML:BB.
According to Balayon, it was a joint decision between the players and the management to assign Sañejo as the captain of the team. “We pretty much saw David as the most stable one emotionally, and that’s what the team really needed at the time. He’s a good player, but also the most level-headed out of all the players. If for example, the team is losing, he doesn’t let that get to him. He doesn’t change his playstyle or communication style.” His consistency and stability led him to become the team’s anchor throughout the tournament.
However, Sañejo confessed that he didn’t expect to be put in a leadership role. “At first I was nervous, I was scared, because I wasn’t the team captain type; I’m shy and introverted, and it really took me out of my comfort zone. What drove me to just do my best and become the best team captain that I could be is the fact that I really love playing this game. My passion for it is overflowing and that’s what motivated me to go all out and lead my team to the championship.”
Disappointing defeat for the Fighting Maroons
Due to the pandemic, many ML:BB tournaments are now being held remotely, with teams playing their matches while in their respective bootcamps. Only the major leagues such as the MPL Philippines have held regular onsite matches since then. This made the first season of UAAP Esports a truly significant event when it was held onsite with a live audience. “We became really excited and motivated to play. When we got to the tournament dates, it was so surreal because our team was so well-planned and the production was just amazing,” Sañejo marveled.
He also talked about the impact of the UAAP on the public awareness and acceptance of the esports scene. “UAAP is a whole other league, even if it’s in the same collegiate level as opposed to the amateur and pro scenes, because it’s more known to the public. Let’s say you’re an aspiring esports player and you’re scared to say that you want to be an esports player because there’s this stigma that it’s not worth it, like “computer-computer lang ‘yan.” But then, in my case, my family and friends became more supportive because they know what UAAP is,” he stated.
During the matches, there were a lot of interesting strategies that came from the team, such as the Zhask pick in the gold lane which the casters and the audience couldn’t get enough of. Based on the game meta at the time, this mage hero would usually be played in the mid lane, but the Fighting Maroons unexpectedly went down a different path to try and give the hero an early equipment advantage.
Sañejo attributed the team’s thought process behind the drafts and the gameplay to “the great mind of our coach, Coach Link.” He admitted that they underwent a difficult journey of building trust in their coach and their teammates, but this made them able to cooperate and stick to the team-oriented gameplay, planning, or drafting that worked for them. “It took a while, but eventually, our synergy and chemistry were built not just in the gameplay itself but also when it comes to the pregame, which is the drafting and shotcalling of the playstyle we’re going to go with.”
Within the game itself, the coach no longer had control over the team’s gameplay execution, and all the decision-making had to be done based on the team’s in-game comms. “We don’t have a specific in-game leader that gives all the shotcalling, which is something that you might hear from other esports teams. Think of it as some sort of hivemind, where we give inputs and we all collectively decide on what to do with those. The team’s rotations and execution relies on everyone’s comms, which will make or break the victory that we wanted to get.”
But despite the Fighting Maroons’ thirst for victory, the team ended the tournament with a 1-5 game win-loss record, which were from one match draw against UE and two match losses against Adamson and UST. Sañejo remembered how those losses were devastating for the team, especially after their first match against Adamson. “We couldn’t accept it. There were a few issues, which all boiled down to having a hard time adjusting to the phones they provided, and we weren’t really prepared for that. We stomached that loss.”
He went on to express that the players dealt with the losses differently. “Some of us got really emotional immediately, but some of us kept our cool and stayed strong. They showed their grit and became the bigger person; they helped cheer up their teammates who were down. They reminded us that ‘May ibang match pa tayo, kaya bakit tayo malulugmok ngayon? Hindi pa naman tapos ang laban.’ We then doubled our effort to get back on track with the motivation and the drive to do better.”
After their devastating loss, the team still had two challenging matches against UE and UST remaining, so they needed a hard reset to be able to give a good fight against those two teams. “We put ourselves in a precarious situation that would be dangerous if we depended our fate on the other teams. We made it a goal to sweep our next two remaining matches, which was a tall task. We expected that we would lose to UST, and we were banking on getting our points from the other two teams, which were Adamson and UE.” After their matches against UP, the UE Zenith Esports and UST Teletigers Esports both qualified for the playoffs and went on to finish first and second in the tournament, respectively.
“Our next match was supposedly going to be UE, but then the problems that we had in the first match persisted for the second day. We refused to play under those conditions, which resulted in the broadcast delay in the tournament leading up to the postponement of the match.” It is worth noting that the stream was held up for hours past the match’s 2:30 schedule. On August 19, the announcement was made on the Facebook page of The UAAP that UP’s match against UE was to be rescheduled and held off-stream on August 21 due to technical issues. When asked further about those issues, Sañejo clarified: “The device was so faulty, but we just took it for the first match and we still put up a fight. It just so happened that we were punished because the draft our opponents chose was favored for heroes that didn’t really need a fast device.” He mentioned that the UAAP’s provided iPhone 13 Pro Max units were operating very slowly, even slower than the players’ personal devices.
“We chose the playstyle that we practiced and showed our identity. We were still able to decently execute what we were taught and what we trained. It just so happened that we lost in the micro department,” he lamented, referring to how the players were unable to perform highly skilled mechanical movements due to the devices’ latency.
But despite the losses the team incurred, they gained a different kind of success by cultivating a strong and supportive community. “Even though there were some that were doubting us, we used those doubts as fuel to prove them wrong and to prove ourselves,” Sañejo professed. “It was a big help, because it wasn’t just our friends and family and those closest to us we were getting support from; there was also support from the school, support from schoolmates. It was a big community, and they were all so ecstatic and excited to know that, ‘Oh, may ML na pala sa UAAP!’ They were so amazed that it was possible, and we didn’t want to let them down, so that’s what drove us to give our all and give a good show in our matches.”
Looking to the future of UAAP ML:BB
As this was the team’s very first season, it was inevitable that they would commit errors and encounter drawbacks during their campaign. After their stint in the tournament ended, the UPEVT met and discussed the takeaways that they would be taking for future seasons of the UAAP and in other tournaments. Now, they’re looking to make the improvements necessary to become better players and a better team.
“First is that there’s no one to help us other than ourselves. Hindi kami pwedeng umasa sa iba; kami-kami lang yung maaasahan namin. We needed to put extra effort because no one’s going to spoon feed us. If we really want to win, then we have to be willing to make a lot more sacrifices and be more aware of the sacrifices that we have to make. Hindi na rin talaga siya laro-laro lang; varsity team na ang tawag sa amin,” Sañejo remarked.
“There were so many learnings that we took during UAAP because we went through so much and we also had to face issues of our own. It all stemmed from the fact that we had to be taking this more seriously; sometimes we can’t control the outcome, but what we can control is our training leading up to that point. Moving forward, we’ll be taking our training more seriously—just making everything more streamlined, and being ready to make sacrifices and make everything count.”
Meanwhile, when asked about what they saw in the future of the UPEVT and UAAP esports as a whole competitive ecosystem, Balayon and Sañejo both gave their optimistic perspectives with its growth.
Balayon, aside from being a core member of the UPEVT’s staff, is also a national admin of Moonton Student Leaders (MSL) Philippines. With his experience working with Moonton, he lauded the game developer’s expression of support for the ML:BB community. “Thankfully, Moonton is very supportive of grassroots tournaments and activations. There’s something we call the MSL Network; right now, UPEVT is under that network. With that partnership, we’re given a set amount of diamonds so that we can have the activations that I mentioned. With that in mind, I think there’s a lot of activities that we can do, especially on the community side. I honestly think that the ML:BB scene in UPD in general will turn out to be bigger.” These activations aim to cultivate a stronger support system for the team as well as a passionate community within the campus.
Yet despite Moonton’s support, Sañejo expressed his worry about the league’s longevity, as esports was only included in this season of UAAP as a demonstration sport. “[I’m not] sure if it [will] go on for a very long time as opposed to those traditional sports that are already integrated in our culture. Those sports, they’ve been here for a while and they stood the test of time. I was wondering the same for esports—if the community of the game and the support the game is getting will last. What if the game dies down, the community and all, or they’re choosing to shut down, what happens then to the UAAP Esports side of things? Will they choose to include a new other game, or will UAAP Esports not happen anymore?” These are only some of the concerns that both esports professionals and enthusiasts have when it comes to the long-term continuance of the games they support.
Still, Sañejo remains hopeful that UAAP Esports will be here to stay until the foreseeable future. “This is what we’ve all been working towards, really: to have esports to get the attention, engagement, and exposure it needs to thrive as a real sport.”
UPIS has also had its fair share of small-scale ML:BB tournaments since before the pandemic, namely the Clash tournaments organized by the Applied Science and Engineering track for UPIS Days 2019 and 2020. From watching these, the UPIS community witnessed that there is no lack of homegrown talents from elementary to high school. Thus, there is potential for UAAP Esports to have a juniors division, where UAAP’s member high schools can send their own varsity teams to play competitive ML:BB.
When posed with the possibility, Balayon responded, “There’s definitely a chance for that.”
“We’re now heading into a digital age, so more and more kids will be familiar with games and everything that concerns anything online. I definitely think that, especially with Moonton’s plans right now, there’s definitely a place for a junior team in the future, pretty soon,” he further added.
With this, we can say that the future is definitely bright for Iskos in the Land of Dawn; it’s now up to the rest of us to watch out for the UP Esports Varsity Team and support them in the tournaments to come!

Day 6 of penalty phase in ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ trial begins Tuesday
MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Day six of the penalty phase in the trial of a man convicted for his role in killing seven people begins Tuesday morning.
On Wednesday, August 28, a jury found Frederic Rogers guilty of three counts of capital murder after seven days of testimony, arguments and four hours of jury deliberation over two days.
The State of Alabama is seeking the death penalty against Rogers, which is what the jury will now decide in this phase of the trial.
Rogers’s defense said at the trial opening he was guilty, but they hoped to spare his life.
The penalty phase is almost a mini-trial, in which jurors will hear from character witnesses as the defense will argue Rogers should be given life in prison without the possibility of parole.
On Friday, the jury mainly heard from Dr. Julia Banic. She is a human geographer, an expert in why and how things happen in human relationships. Dr. Banic said her work helps describe why Rogers acted the way he did at home, at school and in life.
She described his struggle with mental health issues, eczema, asthma, bullying and his troubled home life and how that impacted him as he grew up and developed. In the courtroom, Dr. Banic showed the jury a body map Rogers drew: a damaged guitar. Dr. Banic said he also drew his grandfather’s house and books. She said these were his safe places and his escapes from reality.
The state then called Dr. Christian Bolden to the stand. He is a professor of Criminal Justice at Loyola University who has experience being in the prison system. He said, “Substance abuse, depression and fear of the Aryan Brotherhood may have led Rogers to commit the crime.”
The state introduced new evidence: a video of Rogers talking to a law enforcement officer about how he would never put his hands on a woman. After this video was shown, the jury was dismissed.

Young Republicans Are Rising: Time to Expand Their Power in L.A.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/941964634880fa5e1bc7b5b2d0bf07cf/c9305e3efe616db8-5f/s540x810/b774cc08bf059b0d9b0f6d50636cafb25b079ec8.jpg)
The rise of young Republicans is shaking up college campuses nationwide. Once hesitant and quiet, today’s students are increasingly joining conservative groups, sparking a growing movement to ensure conservative values are heard and represented in every corner of the country. This surge in interest is being driven by various factors, including the enrollment of Barron Trump, son of President Donald Trump, at New York University’s Stern School of Business. His presence alone ignited curiosity among students and motivated them to take action. As Kaya Walker, president of NYU’s College Republican Club, shared, “Interest was piqued initially by the fact that Barron Trump had matriculated as a student at our business school, but the election motivated a lot of people to act.”
As this nationwide movement gains momentum, I witnessed firsthand the challenges young conservatives face, particularly at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), where fear of speaking out can silence even the most passionate voices. When I spoke at the College Republicans and Young America's Foundation (YAF) meetings, only six members attended. One member even refused to be photographed with us, worried that their political beliefs could jeopardize future career opportunities. This fear is not unique to LMU – it's happening on campuses across the country. Imagine being a student who believes in conservative principles but feels silenced, isolated, and afraid to express those views due to fear of personal and professional retaliation. How would you feel if your voice was suppressed because of your beliefs?
Despite these challenges, young conservatives are pushing back. We’re seeing a surge in membership across organizations like College Republicans and Turning Point USA, a clear sign that the younger generation is rejecting political correctness and championing individual liberty, economic freedom, and American traditions. From Harvard to the University of Southern California, young conservatives are making their voices heard in debates, student government elections, and on social media.
However, being a conservative voice on a liberal campus carries significant risks. In Los Angeles, students face social ostracism, exclusion from networking opportunities, and, as I saw at LMU, fear of career retaliation. This is not just an individual issue – it's a collective one. To support young conservatives, we must address gaps in their opportunities. With only six College Republican chapters in the county, expanding these efforts is vital to creating the infrastructure that will help young conservatives connect, grow, and amplify their voices. By providing them with organized platforms and networking opportunities, we can ensure their influence is felt across the region.
This is not just about preserving conservative values – it’s about securing a future rooted in the principles of freedom, responsibility, and opportunity. The political tides in California are on the verge of shifting, and it’s essential that we equip young conservatives with the knowledge and resources they need to lead us into a new era. The Republican Party of Los Angeles County (LAGOP) needs to focus on cultivating the next generation of conservative leaders, especially on college campuses. This includes enlisting the help of the Los Angeles County Young Republicans to expand College Republican, YAF, and TPUSA chapters, support campus events, and invest in outreach through both social media and on-the-ground organizing.
Forty Percent of Young Women Voted for Trump, Proving Rights and Values Transcend Abortion
Trump Delivers Triumphant Rally-Style Speech at AmFest, Says Dems 'Don't Know What the Hell Happened'
Supporting young conservatives goes beyond providing platforms for their voices; it’s about offering leadership development through initiatives like the Leadership Institute, connecting them with experienced mentors, and backing their projects with financial resources. These efforts ensure their voices remain strong and impactful, despite the challenges they face. In Los Angeles County, where rising costs, crime, and a demand for stronger leadership create a critical need for change, empowering young Republicans is key. We have a responsibility to foster an environment where they can freely express their views, connect with like-minded peers, and gain the experience needed to lead and win elections. This is how we equip the next generation to drive meaningful change.
The success of this new generation of conservatives is not just crucial to the future of our movement – it’s essential to the strength of the Republican Party. We must empower them with the resources, confidence, and mentorship to rise above fear, speak their truth, and lead with unwavering conviction. To build a stronger conservative movement, we need your support. Join or back local College Republican, YAF, or TPUSA chapters – or start one in your community. These groups are vital for expanding our reach, and your involvement will leave a lasting impact. Additionally, financial contributions are critical, such as funding scholarships, events, and outreach initiatives that equip young conservatives.
Moreover, if you have political or leadership experience, mentor students and young professionals to shape the next generation of leaders. Attend local events to network, exchange ideas, and use your social media presence to amplify their voices, share their campaigns, and broaden their impact.
The future of the Republican Party depends on the strength of its next generation. By taking action now, we can ensure that young conservatives have the mentorship, resources, and platforms they need to lead us into the future.

ohhh the summer 2013 … MAMA NICOLE UR BDAY MARCH 21st … CAMERON PICKED ME UP TO BANANA STAND TRYING TO GET ME BACK … I WAS CUTE THAT DAY …
anyways I have some extensions in my hair and high school because you Nas is so weird and just care about long hair so I took my extensions out when Cameron and I went on this banana stand date for me. I kind of wanted to get back with him, but I wasn’t gonna push it.
he was definitely trying to get back with me so I basically said yes to the date because it was a banana stand and we watched the Arrested Development and we both became obsessed with it so we went on our date and made a comment about me cutting my hair and I was like yeah I did that shit and he was like I wish you keep it long and I was like well we’re here now so it is what it is
I’m using speech text
but we go out to Manhattan Beach and he also has Berkeley friends out here, white friends who have their houses or maybe it’s old Loyola friends with their rich houses but anyways we hung out at the banana stand. Did our bike ride went on the pier or the little boat fairy , did that for maybe like an hour and a half two hours our little banana flirting with each other and then we went out to dinner where his friends met us and then we went to the beach a little and then we went back to his friends house stay there for the rest of the night and then he drove me back to Nonna’s
We didn’t have sex. We also didn’t talk about getting back together in full, but we did flirt with each other when we ate dinner and his friends came through either either I asked him or his friend mentioned or he mentioned there’s a girl that he’s talking to and trying to figure it out with. …
So I’m looking at like why are you here? Why would you not verbally express that right up because on your Instagram you’re not posting a bitch but you’re posting look warmly a bitch …. And we’re not talking….
——- so that’s March like I said January 2013 excuse me 2014 Preston and I are talking again but not until really like Valentine’s Day and it’s on and off so I’m not tethered to anybody in a boyfriend or sexual way. I’m not even having sex with Preston at that time, we’re flirting and I’m telling him my situation that I just had with Ian and I’m really like expressing how that shit really fucking hurt me…. so he has a stupid what’s that burger shack on Ventura across from the Marshalls he has that job that he’s doing also he’s giving me like I’m trying to focus on me and actually grow up and I’m working XYZ jobs but I still have the same friends, Chris the equipment guy back from when I was 16 hanging out with him, but he lives on Blackburn and Crescent Heights now …… this is pointless to somebody, adding up some details…..
So March happens I come over for Nicole‘s birthday. Cameron and I ended up going on a date. I left my car there. ….. so while I’m at college, I have my 2005 Prius, which is the silver one and then it got totaled in 2015 and I got my Chevy Cruz February 2015 and then I got my Honda Civic April May 2017 and a week after I got that car Cameron and I finally had sex… in the back seat I either picked you up at ur parents house or met you at the walking park but we definitely buss down in the back seat n broke n my near car … then left it at 2020 I asked what u went on ( 2017 U HIT ME to fuck and asked what I was on ) brought up w Jamal March … it’s about me n cams annual time of link up and ya turn me down n I said cool basically but you wanted to press the situation and make me seem crazy I told you I might have made a mistake and still ,gibt be in love*** w you .. but you said “ you got a nigga you don’t hit me when ur not in a relationship “ and paused thought umm Daniel and I was broken up but living together bc money tight ON MY END HE CHOSE NOT TO LEAVE and Jamal SAME THING but used COVID as an excuse to try n get me back WHEN A NIGGA GAY N NOT FUCKING ON ME WE HAD SEX LIKE 3 TIMES AFTER THE RELATIONSHIP Oct 2018 he basked me to marry him basically … “ DONT freak out imma marry you tho”
That’s weird … me sip corona and say “ ahahah okay” .. ur think “ that is not happening I need to get my spot ASAP”
don’t mind that thought it’s supposed to be a dash for my signed. That’s weird and quotations again text speech but Jamal I helped you while you were living with your roommates Marcus get your poetry photos, your books, your organization for your whatever poetry shit you were trying to do together you were struggling with fucking money , I was struggling with fucking money, but I had Neffy in a weird situation with Daniel and I couldn’t do Postmates for whatever reason because my attention span so I gave you my Postmates and I said OK if you make amount of money a week I will take 10 to 20% so I still get my cut because I have to pay taxes but you wanna make money to go and do a BNC but you also have a DUI but you want to do this side job so here’s my shit for you to use, but give me a cut because I gotta pay taxes ….. - A HELPFUL BITCH.
this is so jumpy and out of order and sporadic because I know it’s two different group chats or maybe three or four talking about why are we still on Cashay’s love life and trying to piece together shit leak from the wood where the fuck did you come from because you fucked on Evelyn Mazi Oreos you ain’t never had my pussy so why are you in my group chat with my niggas!?
also, you weirdos in a complementary way you like how I carry my shit with my Nas whether you’re a boo thing or an actual boyfriend of mine because for some fucked hard reason Lee Garlington can’t get it in her fucking head over me and I’ve never had a woman like me in a girlfriend situation so they do dumb ass shit to my face to make it seem like they love me, but behind the scenes, they’re making money off of me off the bitch I’m adopted to who should be taking care of me, but you’re doing defamation on my fucking character to keep me from the legitimate men that you know I should be married …. Which lets me know Lee at some point before my 16th birthday when granny Florence came over for the dinner for my 15th birthday and me and Lexi walked outside with Brandy. She told you about the arrange fucking marriage and you checked your goddamn fucking slavery books and figured out that me and Tristan are the ones to free our fucking family so from that moment on you started interfering with my fucking sex life heavily you already fucked over Alexis through Trisha and didn’t tell Granny.
