A pop-up artists' books and zines display organized by Marshall Korshak. End of Century was a chic boutique that heralded the gentrification of the Lower East Side. In this pop-up, zines are absorbed into the fashion-art scene, just like any other product such as dresses and handbags.
Death of Print, Collection I At End of Century 175 Rivington NY, NY 10002 endofcenturynyc.com facebook.com/deathofprint
April 3, 2011 - June 3, 2011.
Information sharing is in the midst of its greatest transformation since the advent of the printing press.
As the core of the media system shifts towards digital, independents and artists are reacting by creating a new wave of works on paper.
This re- found interest is what motivated Death of Print, a platform for artists to sell their independently published artist books, zines, and other printed media.
Collection I will be Death of Print’s first installation. It will be built at the Lower East Side concept store End of Century, an unconventional platform for creatives that is staged as showroom, store, salon, and exhibition space.
The space and its contents are fluid, where everything is impermanent and available for exchange. Featured artists: Weiyi Li, Tuomas Korpijaakko, Stephanie Dodes, Raquel Nave, Rahel Zoller, Rachel Domm, Pierre Le Hors, Mike Geary, Luca Antonucci, Leslie Kulesh, Le Gros Monsieur, Lay Flat, Laurent Champoussin, Lauren Adolfsen, Kipp Edick, Kimm Whiskie, Josh Slater, Jesse Hlebo, Jenny Kroftova, Hailey Loman, Grant Willing, Fryd Frydendahl, Fairchild Fries, Christa Joo Hyun D'Angelo, Carissa Carlson, Andrea Aimi, Alex Hollander, Alex Barry

There is a delicious burger on the Lower East Side called the Ballymaloe Burger. It has the rich flavors of ground beef and the unique tanginess of Ballymaloe Relish. With just the right amount of seasoning and classic burger toppings, it's a burger experience you won't want to miss!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1 egg. 1/4 cup Ballymaloe Relish. Salt and pepper, to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Cheddar cheese slices. Pickles. Mayonnaise.
Instructions: Mix the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and Ballymaloe Relish together in a bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the mixture and mix it all together well. Make burger patties out of the four equal parts of the mixture. Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat. The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them. Put a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt in the last minute of cooking. Toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster while the burgers are cooking. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun before putting your Ballymaloe Burgers together. On top of the mayo, put a lettuce leaf. Then add a tomato slice, a cheesy burger patty, and pickles. Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Hi lostdrarryfics! I love you guys and I’m hoping you can help me find a fic. I read it on ao3. In it the Malfoys were all going to be sentenced for helping Voldemort and lose access to all the Malfoy vaults and homes. So Lucius and Narcissa do two spells. One to insure pregnancy and one to guarantee a boy. Both spells require a sacrifice and Lucius and Narcissa both end up dying. Narcissa not until after she has the baby. Draco gets a job with the sister of the nurse taking care of narcissa at st mungos. He works at a farmers market. He is barely making it and Narcissa tells him she wants him to take care of his future brother but when the baby is born they take him away from the hospital and put him in foster care. Harry ends up taking care of him and Draco ends up living on a farm rather than running the farm stand at the farmers market. Somehow Harry finds Draco and lets him visit his little brother. The owners of the farm are not happy about it. I think the brother’s name was Julian or Jules or something similar. But Harry might have renamed him. I’m not certain about that part. Anyway, thank you and I hope you can help me find it!

A restassurance used cuts
A sliced upon
pawn of why buffers lay so long
Outside a sand length of our nasal voice
Streaming by our hair
The graffiti resting but calming afar
Afar and gaping
The wound in our cuts
Is so special to the barber man
That can’t speak any French
or English
Just joking about what he can’t cut
Running after you
After you let that tube line up
Upon a wall
Your
Entry
You will be lined up and upon for this
Breathing with the gold
The wall dark as can be
That lines up the shot
Hair cuts in clips
A special language we all sneak
That these creeps
And the starvation
That they can’t draw what they can’t speak
Makes them extra shell
For what’s upon their heads
A color retreat
Back to the gold
A wire in the air so you can hear them speak
As their heads explode
With stylish enteuendas
And the walls that we walk to
Are the ones that their growth have put them to
To be cracked open
With a pop
For the blood that they note
In destroying any freedom
For the paint below them to float
And covering the rare spots on their head
All atoned from the barber who most, less, and really fractured and immune
Paints their dome groom
For the bullet’s place in wall
That’s the furthest that cut will go
And far float their ghosts will roam
For the bar tender they apply to the break in the barber
A cold shiver and the first thing loudest
The bar loud and the last part word
Always when done
For helping the poor wall to be drenched in straight line to what else isn’t said but rode
For on the run
With a swivel so far flung
Gotta be lying to say the pain wasn’t starving from things we know
Like put a haircut in line
And the streamline that they toast
Is the real reason we hit the bottom of the gravity
Where people will call not take pictures
For the hair cutting isn’t with you
It’s what is realized upon the barber
And the titan of a wall
Now covered in homing
And the people still leaning
Fall upon what you make
You’ll have more hair grow and if you’re to of the ritchness of doingthis with a baby skull
Then your a kangaroo whistle
For a man that treats your
For a wall that people tell
They’ll be happy anew
So stupid it’s still there
That the haircut can as so for all those ghosts right over it
Have many more
Come and look at it like be so happy
It’s a ford over the floor
And with what’s doing that
A man with a special sounding word or two
For you don’t know what he’s doing he just snips
The as and the asserted
Fire power wind will blow from sides or have to really love you
To light a a little hug around fire
Right upon
All sides we grow it
Like as much as the guy with the hands in your hair
To stay lit
He’ll get you really badly for stepping g over bodies that have to move it loving the paint of a fog over a way to pay something
Like give me your hair for a bit while I take it away from you
And then I’ll pay or paint you?
If there so dead from being raveging to systems of jails and doom creating sprinters
Running from the law
To space something out
You gotta expand the layers
And see what’s in there
So take a look at those who scavenger
And for a tail
Cut the back
Except to see through that wall
With a fire if the wind would
Could that help the barber
So nicely haunting what happens after you look into it
It’s a line really less in many form
Hands some dropping down to be the fullest of pumping
Hands gotta make tools work
But they log for a copy
And if there was a mirror
You’d see giving up your work
Graffiti isn’t easy
And this barber won’t let you see
Unless your clear and done
Never mind that you left
The rest will pass by it
Like your not that special it’s just a hair cut new
But if it’s really run along there
Go far dumping your sounds
Because the dead scavengers of a booming new doo
Will line upon
What walls will star in what more
What we’ve done
And come towards the wall
Because you wherever you are
There’s some soul
But you’re always outward
Doing the wall closer
So it helps those that painted it gold
So you like
And special face
Because you’re done, is as you supposed
Look at it and look at it and you’ll find you’re so much to a day, as the barber
He was the one that got it all falling
And so he surely knows
Look at it
It’s on the same thing that your eyes are really happy to need help to really know
But the wall so is told of it’s good
The hair grows
The dead grow
And sometimes we learn
But mostly we look
And it’ll be as much a part of starting over
When the buffers wait that long
And the guy
Has another go probably
Unless you really wanna take your hair as far as it goes
And stretch it for blocks, right? the bodies
That scavenger
Like found some good graff!
