Lisette Model era tanto elegante quanta sconcia. Era capace di intrattenere gli angeli in cielo e sbirciare impudicamente sotto le loro vesti.
Nel suo lavoro c’era qualcosa in agguato, un’essenza profondamente animata.
Critica, ma anche fonte di vita: abbracciava la mortalità che ci attende tutti sin dalla nascita,sapendo che ogni impulso si atrofizza subito se non viene fissato in un’immagine.
La fotografia era l’unico mezzo adatto a quella dinamica, e Lisette l’abbracciò in tutti i suoi gesti"
