they DO! i really gotta scout around and see if there's more fanworks about them. i know there's at least one fic that's been updating recently that i'm excited to check out at some point

they should get weirder with it - well they are both pretty weird and also comfortable with their weirdness but you know. can always be weirder

i need them to eat - not each other! i just think they should eat together. and have very strong opinions about food that they judge each other for

kissing could fix them actually - i was torn between this one and "kissing won't fix them" because i do think they'd be extremely dysfunctional BUT. i believe in them. i think they could go from "disasters who hate that they're into each other" -> power couple. there's potential...

@ghostishere0 - the original reason I started this doodle, as I wanted to draw a "shepherd lovers squad" and their OC (who I don't know the name of F) was the perfect fit for it.

@luminesparkz - the best interpretation of Pom pikmin. If I were Mr. Nitendo, I would make them the official comic creator along with the manga comics.

@marblyso - If I was a little more unhinged and made a shrine to Erma Shepherd, it would be mostly marblyso's art of her, it's my absolute favorite Erma depiction <3

@rexscanonwife - another OC that I don't know the name of, but she makes such a cute pair with Shepherd and has such cute art that why not, let Shepherd have multiple canon wives at this point.

@citruscrisp - I think this is secretly Alph in an alternate universe where he makes comics about himself, because citrus has Alph's character SPOT ON, and also loves to put that boy in a situation (which I am happy for, I enjoy seeing that boy in a situation)

@daisythecomic - oooaaaaaaaaaa they look like little mice people they look so soft and sweet I love them so muuuuuuuuuccchhhhhhhhh

@louie-posting - I can't not include actual Louie Pikmin on this list.

@kiwilittle - the soft, the sweet, the one who makes the best family style art, really making me wish I was an inch tall so I could go to holidays with the olimar family, also their wife design is so cute that if Olimar didn't already get it I would shoot my shot for her m a a m

@pikbugz - really nails the soft aesthetic that makes pikmin such a calming series, and their coloring style is so soft and good that it gives me the ratatouille nostalgia flashback moment.

@splitster - more than just the wraith au guy, they are the one who makes incredible and funny comics; I've seen so many fics with the rescue corps where I can pick up that yes, this trait came from a splitster comic, and that's a GOOD thing. Made me actually LIKE Dingo, the nerve.

@diesaur - I can't do diesaur's incredible, unique art justice, they are amazing at using geometrics and have the best charlie (his little teefs...)

@solluxander - Cars, one of my favorite pikmin Ocs I've ever seen! Collin deserves a slightly unhinged sentient fluffball boyfriend, and I always love seeing the new ways Cars will interact with him.

@sillypikmin - all hail the best pikposter, who I'm still convinced is an actual leafling living on actual pnf-404, literally every time I have a bad day I look at drawings of Moss and feel better.

@eggpathy - thank goodness they came back to give us old man yaoi. I keep their drawing of olimar kissing the pikmin good night on my phone and look at it before I go to sleep and so far I have yet to have a single nightmare.

@the-knife-consumer - the only person I trust with Louittany, toxic yuri my beloved, I just adore their beasty brittany design so so much, I wish I could have a small brittany to live in my house...

anyway they have the best headcanons for our beloved blorbo hamster people

@natibranch - there's a voice line of Louie going "wa-ha!" in this really cute sing-song voice and every time I see any art by natibranch I hear that sound in my head as a little burst of serotonin, they just nail that exact feeling so so well.

@pikked-min - Another of my favorite Pikmin OCs, Yuva! A really interesting and unique character concept with a lot of thought put into the worldbuilding, followed by a strong unusual personality that had me looking at the pikmin world through a new perspective entirely. Please, someone, give them some sunglasses. Read the fic it's so good

@ssserf - artistic and deep while still somehow looking like official nintendo tm art, genuinely the best at the pikmin proportions, how could I resist trying my hand at the classic amazing beautiful Brittany Fruit Sweater moment, literally SO iconic

@kashi-pon - while I was working on the part of this that was just kashi's various highlife dresses there was a part of me that wanted to dedicate the rest of the space to paying homage to the joke comic of Louie lifting his skirt to show Olimar that he's wearing shorts, except this dress....well......

@diamondwerewolf - the reason we got louie in a little bunny outfit anyway, and thus why we got kashi's dress version. you single-handedly turned Louie into a tumblr sexyman, how could you

What are your thoughts on Louimar, Chalph, Louittany and Falimar (that's my personal name for the Captain Falcon/Olimar ship since I'm not a big fan of the ones that end in -shipping)?

Louimar- I can see how and why people ship this! Olimar appears to have the most patience and understanding for louie, so not a bad match

Chalph- Another two I think get along fairly well. I bet getting to date your hero would be very exciting for Alph. I can imagine him writing Charlie lots of poems about how cute he is

Louittany- I'm only vAUGELY aware that Louie likes (????) brittany? she's just as food aggressive as he is idk i think she'd kill him 😭

Falimar- I'm....assuming this has something to do with smash bros? Don't have any thoughts on that one, have no idea whats goin on there.

When Louittany fanfic.

Im so incredibly sorry this took like 15,000 years! I had the worst case of writers block, then other interests took over. But now that I’ve been thinking about Pikmin again I figured I’d finish this fic finally. Sorry again for taking forever.

(I started writing this fic just before Pik4 came out, so if anything doesn’t line up correctly that’s why lol)

Make Me Like You

An invitation to Hocotate was the last thing the Koppaites were expecting. Apparently after a certain duo of Hocotations had payed off their companies most recent debt, the president of Hocotate Freight had arranged a social to celebrate the Koppaites successful mission as thanks for bringing their most valued employees home safely.

The only thing Brittany was expecting even less was to find herself sitting at the bar having a drink let alone having an actual conversation with a certain blonde.

Two drinks in and they were already chuckling at each other’s words. They both fell silent, but only for a moment.

“I’m sorry…” the blonde began almost throwing the woman for a loop.

“What for?” Brittany questioned. Louie readjusted his posture on the barstool to slightly turn to face her.

“The juice… back on PNF. And just how I acted that whole time. I don’t know what it is about that planet, I’m just not exactly myself there... and I can’t really explain it. But that’s no excuse that I almost jeopardized your entire species.” He answered.

“Don’t worry about it. That was how long ago? Like at least a couple months.” She leaned closer to her glass as she took a sip.

“Oh? You’re telling me to forget about it? Wasn’t it you who got the most rilled up about the situation?” Louie playfully nudged her arm with his own before turning back to face forward. To be honest, Brittany had gotten over it by now. Her aunt always taught her to not hold grudges… for too long. She scoffed as they both fell silent for a moment.

“Sorry for leaving you tied up in the Drake for days. And for being a bit harsh on you.” Brittany rested her chin in her palm and lightly played with her earring.

“All’s good.” Louie finished off his glass then turned and stuck his hand towards Brittany.

“Clean slate?” The woman pondered for a moment then turned and took his hand in her own.

“Clean slate.” She smiled.

Their conversation carried on and it turns out they had a lot more interests in common than they thought. They both knew they liked food and cooking, but it was a pleasant surprise to know that Louie was pretty knowledgeable on plants and that he and his Nana had a garden at home.

The evening continued and eventually the social hall started to thin out as people began heading home. The koppaites decided it was also time to head back to the hotel that the president had generously arranged for them, If only he was this thoughtful of his actual employees. Brittany was the last to leave and after saying her goodbyes she made her way out to the lobby and was about to open the main door before feeling something drape over her shoulders. She glanced back and Louie had caught up to her and even gave her his jacket.

“It’s cold out.” Was all he said as he waved her off, he must’ve been socially drained as he seemed a lot more quieter than earlier. Brittany nodded and thanked him before heading out to catch up with her crew mates.

Lying down in bed Brittany stared at the ceiling replaying the evening over and over. Seeing Louie in a different light was unexpected and honestly a little bit weird.

“Louie is not that bad when he can actually hold a conversation. It was… nice.” She scoffed at her own joke before thinking about the Hocotation once more. Brittany looked back on the man in a newfound fondness and felt her cheeks heat up before shaking her head clear, reaching over and turning off her bedside lamp and curled under the covers.

“Must be the alcohol…” she blamed knowing full well she had sobered up before leaving the venue.
