you were at an award show now and you found your seat just to be greeted with the woman you wanted to avoid. you were wondering if they sat you in the same table because they didn’t know? maybe they forgot?

you sat down, vexed. she glanced at you and continued talking with someone you didn’t know. you wanted to ask to change seats but you knew that the people who were actually in charge of the seating chart wanted you guys to either fight, or pretend to like each other.

you wanted to do none. you didn’t want to pretend. you didn’t even want to talk to the brunette. knowing that if you did, her snarky attitude would somehow come across as nice to some 47 year old asshole sitting behind a screen.

you cross your arms and lay back on the soft seat, looking around the venue until she spoke, “what are you doing here?” she asked, condescendingly, turning to you while her friend went off.

the award show went great. besides the soft murmurs of an angry night. madison was commentating everything, saying the obvious and talking to you the whole night. you wanted to go home. get rid of her obnoxiously sweet voice in your ear and maybe eat a tub of ice cream.

but you didn’t get to enjoy the luxury which was your own bed because you had to go to the after party. your manager had everything ready. the short dress and—you were so tired. not physically. but because of the fact that someone was talking your ears off.

you walk through the large doors of the establishment and you finally pulled away as the security guards prevented photographers from entering and everyone else.

Inspiration and Reading Asks:

1. How long ago did you start reading fanfiction? Writing fanfiction?

Reading when I was around 8 to 10 years old, ie: 1994-1996. Pre-ffnet. Yeah. That's right. Writing, started around 1999 or 2000. Also note that I haven't written anything at all since probably 2009, except for some 5 Sentence Smut prompt fills.

2. How do you spend your time when it comes to fanfiction? Are you primarily a fic reader, writer, or a perfect 50/50 split of both?

Definitely a reader, 100% of the time nowadays.

3. Are there any fics that inspired you to write what you do?

Oh I feel inspired all the time, but writing is too much of a "I have to sit down and focus for more than 5 minutes" task for me to handle these days.

5. What are your fanfic pet peeves? Do they have a huge effect on whether or not you decide to read something?

There are not many subjects/tags I won't read. Bad grammar is a huge turn-off. The formatting of the fic, too. Like huge blocky paragraphs is a turn-off. Also, I have this weird picky thing about where I like all of my dialogue to be on its own line instead of tucked inside a paragraph. But, a lot of the time now I use the Evie app to read fics aloud to me as I'm going about my day, so the formatting isn't as important as I'm not physically reading it.

6. How do you find new fic to read? Where do you primarily read fanfiction?

Always AO3. It's just too perfect for searching for what I want in the moment. Most of the time I search for top kudos fics, or explicit fics with the most kudos or comments that include my pairing.

7. Do you prefer to read short fics or long fics?

Both! I prefer long fics to listen to during my driving during the day, and short fics when I'm looking for a quick "fix."

8. How often do you reblog/comment on fics that you like?

Every time nowadays. Admittedly before this year I'd been rather lax about it, even if I left kudos. But I leave kudos and comments every time now.

9. Tag 3 fic writers you think are underrated/unknown in the fandom/fanfiction community.

To be honest I don't know any fanfic writers personally. :c I wish I did. And I'm not really steeped in the fanfiction community. But I would definitely recommend the authors of those fics I posted above! Brilliant, all.

10. What’s your favorite fandom, pairing, or character to read fic for?

Oh, please. The range is too huge. Right now? Kirk/Spock. But tomorrow? WHO KNOWS. I'm a multishipper with extremely few exceptions. K/S is one; I'll never ship either of them with anyone else. I'm a big Dean/Cas shipper ofc but I will ship Dean with plenty of others. I love Derek/Stiles but I will ship Stiles with others. Whatever strikes my fancy in whatever fandom I'm into at the moment tbh.

Just watched episode 47 of Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure, and it’s the beginning of the end.

We start with Mirai and the others waking up to a nice sunny day in the No-Magic World, deciding to go out and do something together. Meanwhile, something else is happening in the Magic World, where it has suddenly started to snow. Kochou and Lian observe these events, Kochou concluding that Deusmast is about to appear.

After Mirai finishes her math homework, she, Riko and Kotoha head out, and meet up with their friends in the No-Magic World while they’re going around town. Kana and Mayumi are attempting to remember the magic words the Cures used, and Kotoha almost corrects them before Riko stops her. Yuuto is working on planting flowers in the flower beds, and Souta is practicing soccer.

Kochou also speculates on the Rainbow Carriage and the magic circle within it, with only two more spirits needing to enter it before the circle is complete. Kochou isn’t sure yet what will happen once it’s complete, but he suspects it might be the best hope they have to defeat Deusmast.

Mirai, Riko and Kotoha make their wishes for the new year at a shrine, wanting to stay together and work towards finding their dreams for the future. As Riko thinks about what will happen after she graduates, she brings up the question of whether she’ll still be with Mirai and Kotoha after that. Kotoha also has some concerns, due to her status as Mother Rapapa’s successor. Mirai, being her usual optimistic self, says they shouldn’t worry too much about the future just yet and basically live in the present. If nothing else, they know they’ll be together tomorrow.

Unbeknownst to them, Deusmast is starting to emerge. As the sun is completely eclipsed by Deusmast in both worlds, Benigio appears to confront the Cures, merging with the shadowy forms of Deusmast’s other followers and transforming into a badass looking giant version of herself. The girls transform, Miracle and Magical using the Sapphire forms. Fighting ensues, with Benigio seeming particularly aggressive towards Cure Felice, but they manage to take her down before she destroys the entire city. Benigio actually manages to resist the Extreme Rainbow for a bit, but of course, the Cures win, but Benigio and Deusmast’s followers survive and separate from each other.

And then Deusmast appears in person, his followers are fully restored and even Shakince, Orba and Labut return. The Linkle Smartome glows, and Cure Felice sees a vision of Mother Rapapa, before the Linkle Stones glow and the Cures are all pulled into some bright light. Or something like that. A lot was happening during that scene.

Suddenly, we see Mirai back in her bed, she and Mofurun talking about how it’s such a nice day outside like in the beginning of the episode, before Riko and Kotoha enter the room and say something has happened. Mirai looks out the window again and we see that the two worlds have apparently merged together, with parts of the Magic World having appeared in the No-Magic World. Mirai ends the episode with a very good question: “What happened?”

So... Yeah. That was quite the ending. Really excited to see how this all will turn out. Things seem oddly cheery in parts of the preview for the next episode, so is this all really happening or are the Cures in some kind of Lotus Eater Machine situation? Either way, the final battle is about to begin. Looking forward to the next episode!
