Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls: A Show That Never Came to Be

I just thought back to this, so I thought why not blog it.

I had discovered this back in 2022, because I kept seeing videos in my recommended list on YouTube and it looks pretty interesting.

Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls was created by Lauren Faust back in 2007. She has worked on cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, even some features of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

This seemed to have been planned to become an animated series, but that never got to see the light of day. As of today, there are still remnants of this so-called "lost media" on the internet, such as footage of the website, some videos from the Galaxy Girls YouTube channel—such as an introduction video of Milky Way, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto and Mars, there's even a Facebook page that's still online.

It's actually gained quite a big community in recent years as well. People really seem to like this. It would be pretty interesting to see what this idea could've been as a full series. Maybe someday it will. Maybe...
