Hey babe, I don't want to disturb you, but like, would you still love me if you found out I enjoy a very expensive project about the romanticized horrors of being a content creator? And what it means to have your every thought and every imperfection blasted on a screen for all to see?? And for all to give their opinion on??? Would you?????

At sixteen, [Tolkien] met his future wife, who was three years his senior. His guardians were strict and forbade him to see, or even write, to her, until he was twenty-one. Tolkien’s quiet determination was already apparent. Deferring to his guardians he applied himself to his studies. On his twenty-first birthday he wrote to her, proposing marriage. They married while he was at Oxford. In 1915, he took up a commission with the Lancashire Fusiliers and was sent to the Front.
During his three months on the Somme, from July to October 1916, he saw two of his closest friends, and many others, die. He was later invalided out, suffering from trench fever. It is not fanciful to describe Tolkien, so often presented as a cosily eccentric fantasy writer, as a member of the Great War’s literary generation, many of whom perished. His fiction could as convincingly be interpreted as a response to experiencing war as is that of Kurt Vonnegut (1922–2007). As a veteran of the Somme Tolkien had witnessed horrors, horrors that may well have inspired many battle scenes in The Lord of the Rings, particularly in the second volume, The Two Towers. He never forgot the war. He knew all he needed to know about violence and evil.
Eileen Battersby, in Second Readings (2009)

Not my usual kind of content at all however I just felt the need to remind you that GOD loves you
No matter what you faced or what you struggle with God will love you and stay by your side regardless. The devil will try to tell you that you’re the only one who struggles with this and that you need to bottle it up but the lord says that he is here and that he understands, we have a good and gracious God who we should never lose sight of. Don’t put off getting right with god until tomorrow, everyday is a gift
I’m not a Minster by any means but if you have any questions about God or what I have said feel comment (everyone is welcome to ask even if your not sure about being a Christian God still loves you and so do I, so ask away)

Can’t believe Ranboo’s getting more interested in Y/N fanfics. Personally, little bit more goop would be nice, but that’s just personal preference :D

What's heartbreaking is, that some don't even understand the love they demand and desire to be given and this has tremendously led to more oceans of sorrow and unbearable pain.
