I say this from time to time but the words never feel like they're enough. It makes me so happy to see other's pmd art (art in general but you know the pmd tunnel vision is strong), ocs and headcanons too. I like the connection people have with these stories, the passion put into the art and how it changes over time. The ability to project whatever visceral emotions humans experience into a piece and then shake up something in someone else, even if it's very different. It inspires me and reminds that like life is fun actually. That's why I want people to keep creating whatever they want and try to remind myself of that too.

Adorable things the kitten has done recently:

Decided he is a shoulder cat, and will launch himself at your head or directly into your arms if he wants attention. (Heartwarming, but also cooking and doing dishes take on a new layer of difficulty when wearing a purring, fuzzy scarf.)

Retrieved his favorite toy and asked me to play with him when I was extremely upset about something. Pressed the toy directly into my hand when I didn't stop crying.

Completely ignores the television, unless a fWhip stream is playing or fWhip appears in someone else's stream, in which case he will spare a few moments to stare at the screen with an intensity usually reserved for squirrels.

Made faces of disgust when offered milk, and only begrudgingly tried a bite of cheese because he saw his sister eating it. Ignores most human foods, in fact, despite it being a firm rule that he must personally inspect every dish before you eat it.

Notable exceptions to the above are butter (insists on at least one lick, after which he will leave it alone if told no more) and fish (becomes an absolute gremlin. nowhere is safe. he will stop at nothing to gobble down as much as he possibly can before he is physically restrained).

So I maaaaay have reignited my spark to create the OFMD ttrpg that I mentioned... a year ago.

I mean flipping through game mechanic books definitely helped.

This is not me saying it will be done, but to gage interest on those who like the idea (and have ideas to contribute)

if you call himmel pathetic i'm throwing hands at you. himmel showed the purest form of love for frieren and you guys think that's pathetic? what's pathetic is not respect other people's feelings or boundaries and acting like people owe you anything just because you like them. himmel was happy to have a friendship with frieren within her own conditions just because he genuinely enjoyed her as part of his life. he was happy to wait for her for his entire life is he had to but he also never stopped living for himself. that's fucking beautiful. loving someone so much you are able to let them go, not wanting to change who they are or impose anything on them? unconditionally, nonetheless? that's the point of life.

it would seem that the internet lines got damaged because of the massive storm that we had here; so i deeply apologize for being spotty when i said that i had a day off & i was going to do a bunch of replies. i'm hoping that it comes back by tomorrow & i can be more reliable about things ;; we still have three more days to relax, so i will definitely be getting to what i owe to everyone !!

i know it is quite literally the thing keeping me alive right now but i sometimes wish i didn't like spongebob quite so much. i feel like it just solidifies this view of me that i suspect people around me develop as like. a child-brained idiot. which is, ironically, a huge chunk of what drew me to spongebob in first place

I literally can't imagine a worse dragon age game to not differentiate the background options between dalish and city elf. WHY would you do this bioware? WHY? Best case scenario we're going to see an amalgamation of Dalish knowledge to general 'elf' knowledge (again, WHY???) or at worst we're getting Who's Mythal on steroids. I don't know which one I detest more.

just got held up at the register bc a guy whos like. been in the store since like 3 and is definitely schizophrenic was like. going off on tangents and i kept having to try and ask him about service plans and get him to pay and just. idk. im sad now
