It's interesting how similar Voyd and Longdread are when it comes to not dating/in a relationship with anybody, because it seems to be mostly due to circumstance.

Aaron is a widower; he lost the love of his life way too soon, and feels that nobody can replace Norah, and that he just couldn't bring himself to try. Plus, he has a kid, and a career that doesn't really leave time for dating. On top of that, he's so very oblivious to when people actually like him (a trait which his daughter gets from him), so he kind of just assumes people who flirt with him (Mt. Lady) are just being friendly.

Voyd is the headmaster of one of Japan's most prestigious hero schools AND a member of a very important hero family. And it seems that most just view them as a piece of meat; something to be attained and won for bragging rights rather than treated with genuine love/affection, and they are very much aware of this, given the way they spilled wine on Mt Lady's dress to get out of a date.

Moral of the meta, we need to put these oblivious introverts in a room together and let them be friends, and Aaron can show Voyd the pictures of Bonnie and Norah he has in his wallet, and Voyd can talk his ear off about ancient bartering systems bc they seem like the intellectual type.

I like how in my canon Bonnie can't stand Hawks because 1) he defends Endeavor, and 2) he tried to convince her to forgive the mf who tried to kill her. So now Hawks' perception of Bonnie is "Longdread's daughter who is very smart, but can also be very sour."
