actually i really love how in elementary when sherlock fuckin dips back to london at the end of a season instead of coming back to "watson was lost without him and now that he's back everything goes back to normal" it's "actually watson just kept being a detective and was good at it and now that he's back everyone's like uh sure i guess you can have your old job back if watson doesn't mind sharing"
