I've seen plenty of fan works and head canons about Phoenix using the Magatama to find out about Edgeworth true feelings for him...

But has anyone considered Edgeworth using his logic chess method on Phoenix to find out his secrets?

Because that sounds both interesting and amusing.

One of my favorite things about the Logic Chess segments in AAI2 was how the lead-up parts (where Edgeworth reflects on the situation and what he should do) were mostly presented in regular text rather than in the blue parenthetical inner-monologue-style text, implying that Edgeworth starts out every round by announcing his entire strategy out loud

I would be impossible for Miles to cross examine because I’m stubborn and so he’d try to start logic chess and I would be like “sorry, my pieces staged a revolution and have beheaded my king and queen and so now one of my former pawns is the prime minister and has all the powers of the queen, but I’m not telling you which one.”

every time harry expresses a nice thought about himself or a thought kim really likes, kim gives him a chocolate button as a treat. call him head and shoulders the way he be conditioning.

(harry and the skills refer to them as points, and if the thought came from any of the skills they get to claim the point. there's a winner appointed every week. volition solos.)

My take on Logic Chess (๑ּగ⌄ּగ๑) I love logic chess, it's so fun! >w<

im getting into my 4d machine elves stuff again. i forgot how funny they were from a mortal perspective imagine theres Guys that live adjacent to your plane of existence and they can apparently time travel and do all this crazy stuff that Would have an underlying logic to it but then like out of the blue one of them does something that just knocks that ruleset off the table
